Saw a triangular shape flying by the tree lines, had 3 lights on each point, honked my car & disappeared into tree lines

I was approaching a green light when before making a left turn I seen a triangular shape flying with 3 triangle lights on each point , it was moving very slow & hovering over the trees. When I noticed it I stopped my car in the middle of the intersection to stare at it, a car then approached behind me , honked at me & instantly the triangular shaped craft seamlessly disappeared into the tree lines , maybe turning lights off? Trees were about 30-45 ft high. I felt paralyzed in the moment , couldn’t move. Just stared at it wondering what it was.

Guess what.

I was outside the coffee bean.. about 30 minutes ago. 1930hrs.. PST.

At maxella and Glencoe, marina Del rey. CA.

As a Chinese lady friend was chatting with me... as I was looking off to the west.

Something caught my eye that made me think It was a high flying police helicopter coming in from the beach direction.

It was in a hover/stationary yet slooooooow..moving inland...

Yet giving off no rotor blade buzz.

So I fixed my gaze on it.. it was maybe 4000 feet..I could not tell.

As it moved closer.. I thought "quad copter" since I saw [one] red light under it.

The longer i gazed...it appeared like a black ball or sphere/egg shaped to my eyes.

I called Ellaine to look.. she did not spot it.

So I called another person I know who within 20feet of me.

I told him.. look up there. As I pointed in the area above By the time he came over.

The object..?? ***POOF*** Gone!!

Oct 10, 2018. A large orange fireball appeared about 12 miles off the coast of marina del rey.

Time was 9pm to 11pm. From the video, the fireball appears to be about 200 feet above the ocean, based from the reflection onto the ocean. The event was recorded with a 4K 60 fps and with a 320 optical zoom.

This video was posted on ‘’you tube’’ at Bci1eyNKggw.

I live at the beach. This was the first fireball I have seen in 25 years.

Marina del Rey White lights and blue tube of light with white mist

11/7/15, 6:15 pm Marina del Rey We saw a bright white light shining in a 90 degree arc into a white cloud. We thought it was an airplane headed to LAX flying through fog. But there was no fog, and then a turquoise blue tube of light shot out and hovered over the marina. The white cloud became transparent and began to mist down to earth. The white light faded back and looked like 3 small vertical white lights surrounded by a white mist. The blue tube shaped light stayed in the air for 5 minutes gradually changing into an indistinct saucer shape. I took a photo which only showed the white cloud at a distance, but with lots of orbs in the foreground.

I'm a registered nurse, my husband and my sister (all in our 50's) all witnessed this.

Orange object that ballooned into a huge hazy aura

We were looking toward the southwest when an object came flying upward and had a tail. We thought it was fireworks. It was moving too slowly and deliberately to be a shooting star. It was orang in color. A few moments after we noticed it, a red ball came off the end and eventually disappeared. The orange triangular shaped object eventually had its tail dissipate and moved progressively higher into the sky where it ballooned a bright light out of itself that created an aura that looked hazy and had a blue trail the triangular orange object continued to move through the sky while the hazy orb expanded into the sky. It was a huge! Did anyone else see this?

I was on my balcony when I noticed a white translucent UFO orb. It then appeared to glow and float. I was able to film it until it eventually disappeared. Not sure what it is, but I think its a good video.

I was outside looking up at the moon when I spotted a triangular craft flying across the sky. At first I thought it was a low flying plane, but then I realized there were no lights at all.

I live near LAX so there were a lot of other aircraft in the sky at the time, but I've never seen anything without lights.

Also, it appeared to be dark brown in color, and had 2 small spheres attached to it's sides.

I could not tell if there was any sound since there was a large truck nearby running a very loud pump.

My background: I am a 45 year old Digital Artist, with previous experience in Mortgage Banking.

Green glowing transparent light

My boyfriend and I were leaving Ralph's in Marina del Rey around 6:40pm tonight, when we noticed a bright green glowing light in the southern part of the sky. It was just a tiny bit larger than a star.

The object was green in color and the light faint, almost transparent yet very visible. We suspected it was a helicopter or a drone, but due to the transparent green glow of the light there was no way it was a helicopter. We're not sure if what we saw was extraterrestrial in origin, but if was for sure an unidentified flying object.

The sighting lasted just under a minute while we were stuck at a traffic light. The entire time the object seemed to be moving back and forth in the sky, but not like a helicopter would move.

It proceeded to change it's color to bright red then zip away in a straight line. It went behind a building as our car began to move.

We passed the building after we proceeded through the intersection and we couldn't see it anymore. It vanished out of sight.

From the back of our boat in Marina del Rey, three of us watched as several (10-12) bright red lights seemed to arise from the southern sky and floated in an upward direction. In random fashion they floated up and in generally the same area of the sky, although some seemed to float off to one side (our right, as we watched) .

Within 3-5 minutes, each would simply disappear. At first we thought there were clouds but we could see stars in the background of the same part of the sky.

Their general motion would fit that of very large balloons yet were faster in their motion than balloons.

They were not at all like flares and the general makeup of the lights seemed like each had a brighter center and vertical and horizontal refraction.

There is no doubt that we all saw these lights and we recorded videos on our phones. LAX with planes taking off were clearly between the lights and our position.

I saw square object with 4 round bright lights on the bottom for 2 min Marina Del Rey 11/14/2013

In the night sky i observed one bright star, i was thinking it was Polar Star, suddenly the star started to fade and disappeared instead i saw a couple lights like that in different locations and also they suddenly faded, later i paid attention to a bright lonely light that was not moving for a couple of minutes and later started to move slowly and started to be a little bit bigger with some small shades of green and red light i decided that it is a plain.

Later the object flu closer and i saw on the bottom on the object at first three round lights and when it came a little closer and bended a little a saw the fourth round light. So the object had 4 round lights on the bottom with even distances in between, i newer saw something like this, maybe even the shape of the object was not a cross but a perfect square,

i am so happy that i saw it and can share it with you.

It was about 0015 on 5/4/13. I looked up into the sky when I got out of my car. I saw what looked like 5 fire balls hovering in the sky all about the same size then slowly they would disappeared like they were moving further away. 2 disappeared and then 2 more appeared from the horizon leaving a trail and moving up towards the others and disappeared like all the others then a minute or 2 later more came one after the other until there were no more left in the sky. They seem to make a humming sound but it's difficult to say if i imagined that or it was just the city noises. I did remember thinking that the humming was unusual. They were orangey-red like a big fireball but not really symmetrical (although its tough for me to say the shape really because I did not have my glasses.) I took photos with my phone but it didn't really do what I saw justice, the photos just make it look like regular orange lights in the sky.

That’s it, that’s what I saw. Did anyone else see this, I’d be very interested? It was definitely not normal. Thanks!

Marina Del Rey, CA just before 11:00 pm.

My husband and I had just laid down to go to bed. We have a clear view of flight path for LAX. Looked out our window and saw two glowing orbs that we thought were helicopters that were approaching, possibly looking for someone in the peninsula area, which is not atypical. They were not moving very fast, they had an odd glowing red light unlike an airplane or helicopter- the orbs were slowly pulsating rather than blinking and the light was much brighter than any landing gear or anything. I thought they were possibly far off on the other side of LAX, but an airplane had just taken off and clearly passed behind one of the orbs.

A third orb appeared and was in line of the other two. The first orb turned towards the sea, and a fourth appeared in line behind the third. I thought it was weird that they were so close and yet there was no sound like you would expect to hear from a helicopter, so I jumped up to observe them.

The first one, which had turned, was no longer red (perhaps the red was only in front) and proceeded out towards the sea in a straight line until the light simply disappeared into a pinhole size. It was not like a shooting star, it simply faded like it disappeared in depth. The fourth orb appeared to be about over the water channel and a light suddenly appeared to illuminate a large area (perhaps over the water) to the east of the orb, BUT there was no light trail emitting from the orb, there was no visible "spotlight" on the red orb, and the illumination was pinkish purple. I watched these orbs turn out to the sea, and one by one they slowly shrank into pinhole size lights before they disappeared. The orbs never appeared to bank and did not follow any common flight pattern. I thought perhaps they were small planes, yet a small plane pasted a few minutes later- you could hear the small plane and it did not appear to shrink as the orbs did about ten m! inutes before. Last night was extremely clear, and all the ai! rplanes in the area were flying in typical patterns, they banked out over long beach as typical and never appeared to shrink and disappear as the orbs had.

This was an unexplainable phenomenon. I have grown up flying in small planes, including at night time, and these orbs were nothing like airplanes. They flew low like helicopters but had no sound. The light they emitted was so bright you could not actually see their shape. The light that the fourth orb emitted over such a large area should presumably come from a visible spot from the craft- there was no "spotlight". These orbs disappeared more quickly and in such an odd fashion that it looked like an optical illusion… The pictures you have posted over the marina with the glowing orbs look like the same ones that were hovering over the Marina last night…..

We were returning home from dinner and while walking to our boat saw four slowly ascending lights. One minutes later a fifth one appeared. The lights fluctuated from bright white to amber to red. The scene was almost exactly identical to footage we found taken in Moscow last year. Two of the lights seem to swivel around each other in a somewhat playful manner. Then as quickly as we noticed them, they slowly dimmed out of sight. Three, then one, then the last. I've never seen anything like it, and only wish I could have experienced it for a longer duration.

It was 11:01PM. I was sitting in my back yard facing the ocean. I live on the Mar Vista Marina Del Rey border.

All of a sudden I notice a round shape flying north/East. The best way I can describe the direction is, it had to have traveled from the ocean, over the Marina and it headed towards Centinella. It was just above the low clouds.

At first I thought it had to be a baloon. However it was flying at a stable altitude and if flew over me and was traveling at a "Cruising speed". It had no sound. It was a round craft. It had no lights, it was white or light grey in color. It had just stopped raining and the clouds were seperated. This made it glow from the moon light. I have never seen anything like that. It was like watching a sci-fi movie. A perfect round disc with no sound just cruzing accross the sky. Pretty weird and unusual.

Multiple rotating red beacons attending main jet-like craft without evident connection to superstructure...

UFO REPORT: State Section Director--MUFON, Los Angeles--Only a few minutes prior to my neighbor's call, I'd gone to bed in the forward v-berth of my 30' Catalina sailboat on which I live aboard. When ((name deleted)) called me by phone with alarm in his voice, I was surprised to find him reporting a UFO to me (I voiced my doubt as to his sincerity because ((name deleted)) is a comedian who constantly uses my interest in UFO's as material for routine comedic "assassinations" of my character). He reiterated that he was not kidding and that I should come topside immediately for a look. I popped the hatch over my head and moved upward on deck to see something which made absolutely no sense whatsoever: Above me nearly 90 degrees but slightly north and heading directly overhead to the south-southwest was a brightly lit array of lights which looked like they were configured to an '"invisible" structure which all connected to what appeared to be a central jet aircraft. Flying at about 15 to 18 thousand feet, the atmospheric bounce seemed to illuminate the bottom of what looked like a typical jet, but that is where typical ended.

There is always jet noise from being very close to LAX.. this was the case as this object went over. There were other jets in the area. What sound I might have attributed to this object would not be accurate based on our proximity to Los Angeles airport.

To the right and left side of this central craft was a "formation" of what looked like rotating red navigational beacons. To the right were a series of three outboard beacons, the first one being the only one that was not rotating, constant, and red. Each beacon was equally spaced on either side of this craft. The distance from each beacon to one another was at least three full wingspans of the "central" craft?s main wingspan. That wingspan was approximately my thumbnail width at arm's length. Relative to the central craft, none of these rotating red lights moved independently of one another as if to be fixed to some "superstructure" and connected somehow to the central craft.

To the left of this craft and starting outboard at the same distance as the right side were approximately six of these beacons making the left "wing" appear much longer. At the farthest outboard "end" of the left side formation was a smaller white light trailing behind its respective leader as if it were being dragged by this leading edge beacon. This gave the impression that this "wing" was squared off at the left end. The distance from these two lights which formed this termination was about four fuselage lengths of the central craft. There did not appear to be any visible structure to the larger wing formed by these outer beacons, though, there was absolutely no variation in spacing visible which might have been caused by independent buffeting from wind turbulence or speed differences. These beacons and lights seemed "fixed" to a rigid but invisible framework.

Each red rotating beacon seemed larger than what it should have appeared to have been for its distance and did not seem to be "attached" to the bottom of anything like individual fighter aircraft or the like. They looked like they were just oversized flying red beacons, clear and bright. I don't remember anything significant about what should have been "normal" sized navigational lighting on the central craft.

If there was a "superstructure" to this formation, the sweep angle of the main wing from the central craft's leading edge was the source for any "attachment." This formation's angle might have been pitched slightly forward of the angle of the central craft wing's leading edge.

The reasoning for such a configuration made no sense. Any superstructure necessary to keep such a formation fully fixed in place as it appeared, would have been ripped apart by air turbulence from the speed this craft traveled at. On the other hand, if there was a much larger main craft partially "cloaked," then this would explain such an odd sighting. This was my first unexplainable sighting so it is significant for me The duration of our sighting was approximately 2 minutes until this "configuration" of lights and craft moved out of sight to our south southwest. That path would have taken it directly across the western end of the LAX active runways.

We watched these lights from our different positions in the marina about 30 yards from each other. Scotto was watching through binoculars with another attending witness, and mutual friend Larry.

Since that night MUFONLA has received at least two additional reports from different cities within LA County. These are Hawthorne and Silverlake. The witness in Silverlake took several seconds of Videotape. Our Director of Investigations will assign an independent investigator to these reports and I'm an artist so I will also illustrate what I witnessed as well.

While walking with three other witnesses at about dusk, I viewed a contrail headed toward me from a direct West compass heading. The object looked as if it were decending from a long way out (very long contrail) and as it approached to about 90 degrees overhead the familiar offing of bright "sparking" which might normally be viewed coming from the nose of a missile or Space Shuttle upon re-entry into the high atmosphere. When the contrail hit 90 degrees, it vanished indicating that any object (unseen) might have entered or exited friction points.

At the same time the contrail was being observed, a Boeing 747 was in a landing patern bound for Los Angeles Airport. This aircraft was flying at a ruduced speed at about 12,000 feet along the same direction nearly crossing the path of the higher contrail. The object creating the contrail was clearly moving at four to five times the speed as the 747 from our vantage point.

I hung up the phone with a friend and went to bed. I had pulled the covers around my shoulders and my eyes were closed. With closed eyes I noticed a bright light enter my room. I opened my eyes and the room was light (not with an exceptionally bright light, just like a lite room). The light dissapated and then through partially cosed vertical blinds, a light entered my room and circled the room. Through the verticle blinds a shadow appeared in the light in the room. The shadow had an elongated head (not long as in high, but as in a sort of football shape) a long thin neck and a thick body. I shadow didn't move with the light, but through it. So in otherwords the light behind it was not moving, the shadow was. I thought of more rational possibilities than an extra terrestrial or alien or other life form, whatever your preference in title, but because of the angle of the blinds, I couldn't justify the way the light moved around the room instead of on one wall. Perhaps this is something to report, or perhaps I need a lesson in light movement? I'm not ruling either possibility out. when I got the nerve up to look outside, the light had vanished and car alarms were going off. I got back into bed and heard a low level ???hum or ??? - an easier sound to make then to describe - type sound.
