I’m not sure what it is, I just tried to take a photo of the eclipse with my phone and, while the first was successful, this one wasnt.

I was standing on a first floor balcony looking east toward the full moon. This photo was taken just after another trying to capture the lunar eclipse that night. The first photo was successful, this photo…I don’t know what it shows. Is it a plane out of focus? Planes often do fly in and out of LAX in that direction, I’m just curious as to why the first photo would have turned out well and this one shows something entirely different, in a different place, and does not show the moon at all which was at the time still visible in the sky, despite the eclipse (visible with red tint). I’ve seen many unidentified things over the years, this is one I believe may be easily explainable, but I’ve only reported four sightings before, and never to your organization. Slow moving yellowish/red/orange sphere that stopped in mid air and blinked out of sight.

Three of us–2 men and a woman–were sitting at our fire at Dockweller Beach sometime around 8PM last night, October 20, 2016. One of us said, 'Look at that'. I turned and saw off in the not too far distance something a couple of thousand feet in the air moving at the speed of a helicopter and was about the size of a helicopter, but there were no blades spinning above it. It was red orange and looked like it was on fire; especially underneath the "carriage." It was changing color from yellows to red to orange like, as I said, it was on fire. It proceeded to move forward for another 15 seconds then stopped dead in the air. It stayed fixed for about 10 seconds then turned sharply to its right and started go forward, away from us. After about 5-7 seconds it started to flicker, get smaller, go-in-and out of sight, then blinked out. The object made no sound that we could hear.

Dockweller Beach is right below LAX and planes take off over us all night long. There was a plane behind the object a good distance away and much higher. It could have seen the object.

I am a musician and an artist. I had just met the only female with us, so I don't know her background. And the other man is an actor and writer.

BRIGHT Silver Sphere appears in sky 1-3 seconds and disappears into clouds over LOS ANGELES AREA

Was driving west on IMPERIAL HWY, TOWARDS Dockweiler State Beach. WAS AT A STOP LIGHT SO THE PASSENGER AND I WERE LOOKING LEVEL OF A STREET SIGNAL LIGHT. ( THUS WE BOTH HAD OUR EYE IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION.

IT WAS SUNNY OUT, MILD CLOUDS IN THE SKY. (NIMBO STRATUS THIN CUMULUS CLOUD LEVEL (5-6000 ft sky level) 2-3,000 meters high very low level in the distance) The OBJECT appeared for approximate 1-3 seconds., QUICKLY moved in a VERTICAL motion DOWN THEN DISAPPEARED UP behind into the clouds.

THE OBJECT WAS ROUND/ DISC / BALL SHAPED, VERY SHINY SILVER-ISH, BRIGHT CATCHING OUR ATTENTION SUDDENLY IN THE DAY LIGHT.

My passenger described the same sighting before I could discuss what exactly I saw.

Small fireball object traveling from west to east, approx 6,000-10,000 foot elevation.

Object made no noise, had no navigation lights (as every aircraft does), Did not register on any online flight tracking page, also flying in a very unusual pattern for being above an international airport.

The two witnesses noticed it while laying on the couch. The fireball looking object stood out very well against the night sky. While watching the object come toward us observing it facing west, we watched until object passed over the building. We ran to the front door approx 25ft away, and tried to resume watching it move. The object had literally disappeared from the sky.

The two witnesses have lived near an airport for almost 30 years, each. This is nothing we have ever seen before....

black craft shows up in picture i did not see when taking the picture

Wed Feb 15th I was watching President Obama's Helicopters leave LAX on route to West Los Angeles. I was taking the picture with my I-phone looking west toward the pacific ocean. I took two pictures,one shows two Helicopters near my home and three in the distance, in the next photo taken approx 3 to 4 seconds later there appears a craft i can not identify. It looks like a craft with no wings, no proppellers, and guppy shaped it is not in the frame before. I will send you both pictures. Thank you.

Very Low Fast Flying Light Ball with White Jet Stream

I woke up at 2:00 AM to let my dog out and saw what I thought was a really fast bug flying through the air so I disregarded it. Then when I laid down to go back to sleep I was staring at the night sky. I saw what really shocked me! A flying light ball going straight across my neighbors yard into mine very very low and very fast. I saw this very same thing last year but the ball was bigger and orange in color and had fire behind it and was too low to be a comet and changed direction as well. This time it was a very small white light ball and had a white jet stream following it. It was a tiny ball of light very very bright and it appeared out of no where right after an airplane took off on the north runway. I was facing South West towards LAX. The small light ball was flying north right across my yard just above the high line wires just like the one last year. TOO LOW FOR A FALLING STAR! The sky was very clear and the whole thing was only a few seconds maybe o! nly 2 or 3. Too fast to film. I am now very concerned because I woke up this morning and there were so many Chemtrails! On November 13th I also saw in the middle of the day a huge aircraft like an aircraft carrier with 6 silver disks flying in formation like a convoy.

I got a picture of the plane but the disks did not show up. Something very strange is going on here over by LAX.

Saw a shape shifting UFO half the size of the moon over LAX

Last night I woke up at 4:00 AM and noticed a light moving across the sky next to a star and then disappearing. It was a very clear night no clouds at all.

Then I woke up this morning at 9:00 AM and to my surprise I noticed that there were so many chemtrails!

Then I noticed the moon had a bright object next to it that was very large to the naked eye and it was not moving. I ran and got my camera and zoomed in to find what looks like a space ship of some kind!

It starts moving off to the distance to the west of LAX and then disappears in a poof. But I did see it flying very far off into the distance at the end clip I recorded.

Then I recorded more because It came into view again. Check on part 2 of UFO over LAX!

3 round objects behaving "not normal," hovering near the day-time moon

At approximately 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, in Los Angeles, California, near Marina Del Rey, I saw three objects in the sky, near the moon (which could be seen during the day).

I immediately knew that I was looking at something which was not “identifiable.” All three objects were round in shape and appeared to have a metallic shine coming off of them. I couldn’t really determine if this was light generated from within or reflecting from the sun. They each were extremely small to the naked eye, almost impossible to see if you didn’t have excellent vision. You had to be looking in the right spot. Again, they were sort of close to the moon, which is the only reason I even saw them in the first place. If you weren’t looking in that direction, you probably wouldn’t even have noticed them.

As I continued walking and watching them, they were moving, but not like a plane or any other “normal” flying object moves. They were moving rather slowly, yet when I would look at them again (after continuing my walk, then looking up again), one of them moved off and away from the other two. I kept looking and staring, with breaks inbetween. This went on for at least 30 minutes, at which time the third one had disappeared, then after awhile, the second one, then eventually all three of them disappeared..

They appeared to be hovering most of the time, although there was some movement, then when you’d look again, they’d be in a different spot relative to the “day” moon and relative to each other.

Again, they were round and not like anything you normally see in the sky. They definitely were not a plane or a balloon or a helicopter. They were round and didn’t behave like these things. Helicopters don’t go that high to my knowledge. And, from the naked eye, you could tell they were a very far distance away (high up and far away). Again, they couldn’t have been planes. Planes don’t “hover,” to my knowledge.

Two white spherical objects rotating about each other at low altitude rise until out of sight.

This morning I took my usual midday break (I work from home. NY stock market hours) and decided to go outside and walked out towards LAX which is directly next door to the South. The weather was impeccable approaching 80 degrees and very sunny and crystal clear skies. I crossed the street and went East on a small street that looped behind the local neighborhood HS.

As the barren street curved around back of the school I noticed an LAPD (airport police) car with one officer parked facing the same direction I was now walking (North). I passed him on the sidewalk. Continuing my walk I was looking up and noticed the typical air traffic headed East in the usual daytime flight path for approach to LAX from over the water. Suddenly I see what appear to be two large white spherical helium balloons revolving around each other in a jerky manner that I considered odd since the breeze was about 5mph from the South. They appeared low over the rooftops. I continued to watch the objects and they seemed to stop their Westward movement and began to slowly rise. They appeared to be below 1000 ft. when first spotted because I could clearly see the jet traffic well above it. The object(s) continued slowly rising in the northern sky about 30degrees from zenith still doing this strange revolving movement. I watched them rise until they were at least 30,000 feet because they were well above the air traffic at this time.

About this time the LAPD car which was almost a block behind me decided to move on. As he passed me I pointed to the sky and pointed to what was by now a very small spec in the sky. He eventually found it and then I described what I saw. He looked at me like he didn’t know what to think and I said so long. After he left there was a miltary jet that appeared traveling North over Santa Monica bay at about 20k ft. but it was well under the object at this time.

I continued to watch until it disappeared. I don’t know that the max altitude of a helium balloon is nor have I ever seen one do this.

Triangular Craft Seen Passing over LAX.

Sighting occured on the beach in Playa del Rey. While sunning myself on the sand on my back and having awakened from a short doze, I decided to do a little sky watching. I put on my sunglasses and billed cap and scanned the sky just East of the suns corona where the main part of the sun was above the bill on the cap. The area of the sky observed from this position was approximately the Zenith. This beach area is approximately 1 mile North of LAX. My head was toward the water so the runways and departing flights were to my right. After noticing several high altitude jets that had made their cruising altitudes after take off and were now proceeding East, an object suddenly appeared near the Zenith about 10 degrees East of the sun's corona. Focusing on the object which was moving at a moderate clip at about 40K feet in a N-NW direction, I noticed it was a configuration of three bright spots, maybe lights, two in front and one in back. There seemed to be a blurry darker area surrounding this config. The sky was powder blue with only a minimum of high altitude vapor making very faint almost transparent clouds. I continued to follow it in its path and noticed that it was now looking like a sharply defined very bright, white in appearnce, angular bomerang shape with an equally bright spot in the rear. After this point it disappeared into the distance. The altitude estimate here is based on the size of a standard 747. still on a straight route.

Anomalous light approaches LAX neighborhood and disappears at high altitude.

I believe I saw something this morning. I'm not saying what but they were highly irregular anomalous lights. I live about 1/4 mile north of LAX and have been there over 10 years. I know what types of aircraft are in the sky but more important how they approach and leave the airport and at what time of day. So at 5:45 am this morning I left my apartment for work. I walked out back to the alley which runs parallel to Manchester Bl to get to my car in the carport. Looking due west down the alley, about this time, I noticed a pair of lights, white and blue-green, about 45 deg. above the horizon traveling southwest. It was just before dawn. The air traffic at this time makes its approach from out of the West to land at LAX. So it is very quiet since all the jet noise is over the water. I thought the lights were a helicopter but it turned sharply due South then stopped moving. Helicopters do this but usually at lower altitudes. I would estimate the altitude around 10,000 feet at 2 miles. These lights which seemed to be hovering had my attention and still I didn't hear any noise. This time of morning you can hear a pin drop and you would never know you where next door to an international airport. No traffic on Manchester either. Silence. Then I noticed the white light grow very bright and begin moving east toward me. As it moved east, the space around the light began to glow and spread out in a wider diameter from the source in a truncated cone shape. The light seemed to be moving through some high altitude clouds but there did not appear to be any outside of its beam. In other words, this area of the light seemed to be filled with swirls of vapor. I followed this light until I was looking nearly straight up with my head bent back. Then the light stopped moving. I thought maybe the light source was slipping behind a fog bank. But that was not the situation. There were no low clouds or fog. The point source of the light finally just seemed to disappear in the middle of this bright glow which was left behind to fade in the clear dark sky and spread out in a sharp afterimage looking like high altitude vapor which was being illuminated by the sun still below the horizon. This entire sighting lasted 45-60 seconds.

Oval light (the size of a five story building) sighted from shore had no reflection on water, no sound and traveled at breakneck speeds

Intro: I am a 59-year-old retired clothing manufacturer and designer. I am not one to claim UFO sightings at every turn. My dad, brother and I did see a meteor fly over the west side of Los Angeles back in 1962 and thought that it landed in our neighborhood but in fact it landed in Canada, according to the news report. I concluded that things in the sky are illusive, after seeing that.

The sighting: In late August of 1967 I was enjoying the warm evening with my girlfriend under a blanket on the west facing Dockweiler State Beach at Playa del Rey in Los Angeles. It was about 11:30 pm and the beach was closed to the public by this time. The beach is directly under the take off path of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) but this night the planes were diverted to take off to the east. This is a practice reserved for windy conditions but there was no wind that night. The number of flights at the airport was down to a minimum by late night back in those days.

I had noticed a light due west from us at the horizon when we walked up to the area where we set the blanket on the sand. I figured that it might be a usually seen tanker on the way to the docks in San Pedro. We started smooching and an eerie feeling came over me, like someone was watching us but when I looked around I noticed the light on the horizon had begun to move closer to the shore at a swifter than natural speed. It was at sea level, I figured, but some things were missing. No reflective light and no sound. This made me stop and pay attention. As the object closed in toward the beach it’s size and altitude became more apparent. I sat up when the light seamed to be about a mile off the shore and could clearly see that the object was actually about 2,000 feet in the air. (I often frequented the Hawthorne airport and became accustomed to object altitude.) I ‘guestimate’ that the size and shape was oval and the volume of a five-story building.

The light emitted from the object was not painfully bright but it had a glow or halo around it as though I were looking through a frosted glass. It came directly toward me and slowed to a halt at maybe 100 feet from the shore. I slowly moved to the right over the coast line to about the area of Venice Beach (about 12 miles from our location.) This took less than a minute and then it returned in a flash. It hovered over the are where it began to browse for about two minutes.

The object then rose straight up to about 4,000 feet and quick as a click it shot off toward the southeast. I could not see it after it passed out of view beyond the sandy hill at Pacific Coast Hwy. Perhaps it traveled as far as Disneyland in Anaheim. I was not terrified but disturbed and uneasy about what I had seen.

I was trying to convince myself what had just happened when as quietly and quickly as it left it had returned to the position where it began it browsing just off the beach. It sat there for about 15 seconds and began making its way back to the horizon. At some point near the horizon it began to ascend at break-neck speed. In an instant it rose what appeared to be in an outward arch and disappeared into the night sky. The entire episode lasted less than 5 minutes but left a lifetime of excitement.

((woman's name deleted)), my girlfriend, did not experience what I saw but was equally uneasy by what she did see. I believe she saw the light as it left the area the final time. She was lying down with her face up during the episode and for some reason I felt that I had to protect her from whatever I was looking at.

We left the beach, tout suite, and never spoke of the incident to each other for fear, maybe, that we would know for sure that something was there. ((deleted)) We soon broke up (not related to that episode.)

Single Light UFO moving over Los Angeles, Accelerated at unbelievably fast speed and dissapeared over the Horizon.

Light was directly overhead. Was not able to estimate distance from ground. We observed light moving against clear black star covered sky. We thought that the light was an air plane but it stopped moving and made a circular motion. We then thought it may be a helicopter but we were not sure if they could fly in a tight circle, we did not think so. We kept our eyes fixed on the light. It started moving in a northern direction and accelerated and dissappeard over the Santa Monica Mountains so quickly, less than a second that it was quite disturbing, to me at least. I estimate the distance to be more than 50 miles or more.

I don't know what it was but I knew even then that nothing could move so fast and so far in such a short time.
