Ventura County – unknown even – 10-18-2021…What I saw didn't seem like a single UFO but an event. I saw an orange cloud or light inside

What I saw didn't seem like a single UFO but an event. I saw an orange cloud or light inside a cloud. One would think that it was the clouds reflecting a fire below, this is California after all, but it was far to bright to be a reflection of a fire or any kind of light. This section of cloud was glowing orange constantly, no fluctuation in intensity or color. In the center of this cloud there was an indent. I don't know what was creating that indent but in the center it was obviously pushed in. From my vantage point on a hill in Thousand Oaks, the light would seem to be over the Camarillo Grade on the 101 or could have been possibly out to sea. It large in size but appeared to be very far away. From where I am the Camarillo Grade is a good 10 miles or so and if you were to go in a straight line from my house to the Camarillo Grade then just behind it say maybe 5 or 8 miles you'd be out in the ocean. I first saw the light a little before 12 pm and wh! en I awoke again around 4 am it was still there, it hadn't moved or changed color. The shear size of the area lit up and the intensity was far greater than anything man could make. At the time I checked the Ventura County fire and Cal Fire to see if there were any fires and there were not. There were no helicopters in the sky nears this cloud and on any given night in this area there are helicopters in the sky. I checked the next day and nothing mentioned with the fire or police or in any of the local news. I do have photos that I'd like to share. The photos are seen through a window and window screen so the focus isn't that great but it will give you an idea of the size of this and you can see the indent in one of the close ups.

Black flipping triangle with metal reflection flying above my house.

While taking a break from work I came outside and gazed at the sky. At first I thought I was looking at a black bird flying high in a cloud and then realized birds don't fly that high. While taking a closer look I noticed the craft was black and triangle shaped but something odd was happening. As the craft flew it was consistently flipping over from wing to wing. Every time it would spin a metal reflection would shine from the craft. My daughter came outside to see what I was looking at and described the same thing. After about 6 minutes the craft flew out of our view.

It bounced over the mountain like a super ball and followed the contour of the mountain and wobbled and stopped. It began approaching me and looked like a fiery plasma in the sky. I thought it was the back of a rocket but wondered how I could be seeing the back of a rocket get closer. It stopped very low and close and then suddenly became a glowing red almost burgandy sphere. It was a perfect ball. They it began moving toward the south and headed over the ocean. It went across the entire skyline within a minutes once it began moving. It was close and made no sound at all.

I was chatting in thousand oaks ca.my freind was oblivious talking to me.I had noticed a black object the shape of a soft edged triangle with a drifting s.e. rotation. I said "what's that!" The time was 3:02 roughly.it was very black under a overcast sky.when they first saw it the one guy was insistent it was a helicopter. but no sound at a distance of what seemed like a couple thousand feet. a height of about 1000 feet. Speed seemed like 50 miles an hour.another witness saw it moving slowly in a 360 circular motion."no noise". it covered about a mile and I had to climb onto a wall to keep seeing it. i know for a fact I would probably not pick it up well on my phone because of the lighting available.

Object was stealth like and reflected or used the sky as camouflage. What gave it away were three vents I could see, two of which undulated or moved and one that opened for a second and then turned sky colored again. It was oval shaped and was 10-11 times bigger than a airliner. It was traveling very fast but track able across the sky. I only told my family.

UFO sighting over Thousand Oaks, California.

At approximately 21:04 on the night of the 21st of February, I saw a formation of four lights traveling at a constant velocity in a south westerly direction over Thousand Oaks. Its path took it across Orion's belt.

There were four lights in formation. From a bottom up perspective in the direction there were three on the left and one on the right. A total of four lights together. Almost as though it was a USAF missing/fallen pilot formation.

Lights did not blink and faded before exciting the horizon. Similar to a visual on a satellite which will vanish before the horizon. If there are any confirmations or witness to this particular sighting I would be interested as to what you're hypothesis may be.

The closest resemblance to what I saw would be of the lights described best as the Phoenix lights.

Unidentified, red and blue lights seen moving together at a high rate of speed and in random directions in Thousand Oaks, CA.

The incident I witnessed took place in Thousand Oaks, CA (SE Ventura County) at approximately 0600 – 0615 hours on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. The weather was cool with a light breeze. The sky was mostly overcast with some stars visible. It was still dark. The moon had set.

My location was in a shopping center parking lot on Janss Road and N. Moorpark Road, located about 2 miles north of US-101 freeway and about ¾ of a mile west of the CA-23 freeway which runs north and south.

At approximately 0600 hours, I happened to look up into the eastern sky and saw two lights, one blue and one red, very close together, not moving. The lights appeared at first glance to be what I thought was a hovering helicopter, from 500-1000 feet off the ground. The angle of the lights to me was about 60 degrees. The two lights were bright, clear and distinct. I would describe them like an LED. There was only a tiny separation between the two, but it was distinct. They were separate, but very close together. I would describe the size of the objects about the size of the planet Venus or maybe a tiny bit smaller. I could not see any type of aircraft or fuselage or body that they were attached to because of the darkness of the sky. If I held my thumb up to the sky to cover the object, it would cover the lights.

Because I was at work at the time, doing security for a construction crew, I had to get about my business and giving the stationary lights one last glance, I resumed doing my job.

About 5 minutes later, I happened to glance up to the eastern sky once again, wondering if the two lights I saw were still there. Indeed they were, but they were moving horizontally across the sky from south to north fairly rapidly at about a 65 degree angle to me. Then, the lights immediately began to do all sorts of strange things that you would not associate with normal aircraft. They dove down like a roller coaster and then swooped back up in a sharp climb. The drop was to about 30 degrees and then back up. This repeated – down, up, down, up –sharp and fast. There were other quick motions that I’ve never seen any aircraft do – quick changes of direction on sharp angles, for example.

Again, all of the movement of the paired lights was done at a high rate of speed. The object(s) then rose to about 60 degrees and took another sharp, high speed dive and went below my field of vision – the buildings of the shopping center not allowing me to see to the horizon -- and did not return.

Overall, I would describe the general motion of the object(s) or lights if you will, as almost entirely random in direction, moving as I said at a high rate of speed. Total duration of this portion of the sighting was about 20 seconds. I had a smartphone with me, but I was too transfixed by the incredible movements of the objects to get it out and start to record it.

Also, during the entire time of the sighting, I heard no noise from the direction of the lights.

I thought that this might be a model aircraft, but not hearing any noise at all – along with the lights – eliminated that possibility. IN FACT, there was a hobby shop in the shopping center that featured remote-piloted model aircraft and I went into the shop and asked the owner of the shop if he knew anyone who’d fly these craft at night. He said he didn’t know of anyone who would. Second, I asked him if it was common to put lights on the craft. He said the craft he sold didn’t have lights attached. So with these questions and the noise factor, I think I eliminated the possibility that it was a model aircraft.

In addition, aircraft do not have red and blue lights. Or lights that don’t flash.

Obviously, the object wasn’t a normal airplane with capabilities as we commonly associate with them nor was it a helicopter either. Because of the description of the flight of the paired lights and that I was not able to see a body, fuselage or anything else that the lights were physically attached to, moving in the manner that they did,

I decided that I had seen what could be described as a UFO and made this report.

we saw a UFO that was only 30 feet off the ground, rapidly changing color, with something orbiting it. movement was instant

I had just gotten off my shift at blockbuster and I noted that the moon was extremely surreal, because it was a crescent on the bottom half and it was red, like a creepy grin. As soon as I got home I dragged my mom to the car in order to show her the moon. We started driving around the neighborhood, the city, but we could not find the moon. Then my mom told me to turn into a random residential neighborhood which we have never been able to find/remember for or since. That's when we saw it.

Our car was parked and we were inside, but it was maybe double the distance of the roofs on the adjacent household. It had what looked like to axis of brightly flashing rapidly rotating orbs around its side. its shape was not an orb when we saw it. my mom pulled her camera out right away, but the orb result seems like the camera wasn't capable of correctly capturing it because of its bizzare spectral almost plasma like maneuverability, it was very hard to imagine something solid was inside of that orbing light and it's behavior. although when we first saw it I was hovering there and didn't leave at first. I was at first almost scared shitless but since I was there with a witness and I was seeing something that would change my conception of reality forever afterwards. I'd never seen anything move in those directions instantly or seem to propel itself by changing shape.

When it left, it actually did something totally crazy, it shot like a dark straight into the ground like a light and then it was just gone.
Later, I unconsciously started drawing a picture of my experience and the picture at the end is what I did. I had a strong hunch it was so disorted because me and my mom were flat landers looking at an object in an extra dimension, one outside time. so we couldn't see the real scale of its shape and it bound to seem to be moving by an impossible mechanism. And actually, I did take time to learn about about conceptualizing dimensions in much more lateral and familiar language and understand , I feel, because what I seen made me capable of imaging. I've done a lot of research into that subject because of that.

We have had other less dramatic but still notable experiences in the time since

Bluish light that turned into four over Thousand Oaks, CA.

I was driving south on the 101 freeway going into Thousand Oaks. I had just finished getting over the grade when I had no choice to but notice a large bluish light just above the santa monica mountains.

It was directly in front of my view and I'm sure the other cars next to me saw it too. After around five seconds of seeing this, the bluish light pulsated and tripled it's size. Almost looked like a star gate was about to open up. Then it quickly went back to its original shape.

Then, three more similarly colored lights with the same shape appeared to its left in perfect order, but in a somewhat curved shape (like a smile). It also looked like it could've been either a large object firing on all its lights.

After around 20 seconds, the light simply dimmed and it was no more.

After seemingly power shortage,walked outside &saw in air above a craft that steadily moved across, paused eye level, then dropped down

At somewhere after 4am, but before 4:30am, on October 26th, 2013, there was what seemed to be a part shortage. The difference was there was a series of noise that affected the appliances making them flash on them off more than once. I noticed that the aquarium light was the only light that remained on after the power supply was interrupted. The clocks on the microwave and oven were reset. I was located in the kitchen/living room the whole time and saw this all. I walked outside for reason unknown, just felt compelled to. I saw a craft in the sky which moved across overhead until eye level, my head tilted slightly up. The craft paused then dropped directly down at a higher rate of speed than the movement halfway across the sky. The craft had a white lights across the center and shaped like a cigar with middle thicker than ends. I am an open-minded person, yet needs facts, mainly seeing or experiencing to truly accept and believe, whatever the case is. Th! at day seemed very long to me. I set a mechanical Sturling watch at one point in the morning which now states a different time.

Loud sound and a search light coming from sky - definitely not a helicopter.

On the 2nd I was awoken by a whirring sound. I wake up around 3AM often, so I'm not sure if it was the sound that woke me or if it was natural. The sound was alike to a lawn mower, and got louder and then would fade at random. When it came close at one point, I saw lights flashing in my room and through the trees. When I looked out, it was too dark to see, but the light was coming from the sky. It went over many houses, I thought it was a helicopter, but the sound was more unreal. It had more bass in it, and a higher frequency. It was definitely not a helicopter. The light specifically kept pointing in a tree in my neighbors yard, not at me or my window, but it did go into my window and then into my bathroom's window too. It scared me pretty badly, and I was unable to sleep till it ended around 4. Sometimes the lights would change colors, and my electricity kept going out. There was a light trail in the sky after it left but it faded quickly.

Walking dog in thousand oaks a bright white light started to shine in the sky without movement became very bright then quickly faded away. It appeared to be a light that was coming down into the atmosphere as it looked like it had a halo around it similar to when you shine a light in fog. The key here is that it did not move across the horizon like a satellite it was a stationary light and it was very bright white.

Yellowish Light or fireball seen Zig-Zagging over Thousand Oaks, possible earthquake light?

On 2010 Dec 03 About 930 PM While enjoying a back yard camp fire in Thousand Oaks California near the 23Fwy at Avenida De Los Flores we noticed a light in the eastern sky which appeared to be the same color and brightness as a yellow/fog street light. It was flying toward us (west ward) it then zig-zaged then flew straight again, then zig- zagged again. It almost appeared to be a flame fired toy balloon but it was too bright (without much change in brightness) and with the speed and the sudden turns any flame probably would have been extinguished.

It made no noise at all and in about 2 minutes it suddenly gained altitude faded to a red dot then vanished. I live under the flight path to LAX and this light flew across the flight path around or just below the altitude the jumbo jets fly. The clouds were moving slowly, there was very little wind and there were no aircraft seen in the area.

Using google earth and measuring from the mountain it appeared to fly over it seemed to travel about 5.5 miles in about the 2 minutes we observed it. I think it could have been what is known as an earthquake light. There were power lines under the center of it's path but it was very high in comparison to the lines. If it was a flame fired toy balloon the person who set it aloft could have started a brush fire.

I was wondering if anyone in Ventura count saw this craft. At first, I thought it was fireworks display and then a missile 500 Lights

While facing North (slightly to the West) towards Ventura, I witnessed the following: In the distant sky, anywhere from 10 miles or further) a bright while light with various coloration changes appeared. At first it appeared to be slowly rising on the horizion and then a long red and bluish flame shot out for about 20 seconds from behind and the white light turned slight and shot off toward a southerly direction.

Everything about the event appeared to be conventional except two things. First the way the object initially appeared in the sky did not appear to be conventional and secondly I cannot understand why the missile or craft would glow with a bright white. After the flames were gone you could still see what looked to now be a bright white light disappearing into the night. We see many planes and helicopters in our area at night and although the lights on the planes and copper are visible, the fuselage/body of the planes are very hard to see. There were no notable navigational lights on the object either.

I was wondering if anyone in Ventura count saw this craft. At first, I thought it was going to be some type of fireworks display and then when the flames kicked on it looked like a missile and for the record acted just like a missile. But I am not aware of missiles that have glowing fuselages.

I am unsure of the exact time, but it was between 8pm and 10pm.

a light apeared in the Northern sky thrust across the sky and dissappeared then reappeared leaving con trails.

At approx. 9:30 pm in the Northern sky I saw what appeared to be a plane hovering in position with landing lights on. All the sudden the craft beamed a single light that appeared as a spotlight pointing down at a 60 degree angle towards the earth then it dissappeared and reappeared 2 seconds later.

The craft with one thrust traveled south at a very fast in a straight line leaving behind it a single con trail and vanished or about 3 seconds before it reappeared and repeated the same single thrust motion in a straight line and vanished in the southern sky. The contrails were visible in the light the full moon for a good 5 to 10 minutes after the event. The entire event lasted about 5 min.

Thousand Oaks, CA: Two seperate White Balls/StarLike objects sighted exactly one week apart by two witnesses. Pictues & Video Available

Note: This report includes two sightings exactly one week apart from each other in the same location within about 3-5 miles. Have video and pics for the second sighting.

On Saturday August 14th at around 5:30pm while floating on my back in the swimming pool looking straight up at the sky, my wife and I observed two bright “star-like” objects directly above us. I have always been interested and have observed/studied different aircraft and can usually make out what kind of aircraft in is in the sky. One of the objects stayed stationary in the sky while the other was moving at a relatively slower speed (and very smoothly through the air) than a typical jet type passenger aircraft and heading south. The moving object seemed to disappear or I just lost visual sight of it after about 5 minutes. The object would speed up and slow down during the 5 minutes of observation.

After losing sight of the first moving object, I looked back at the other object and it was still motionless in the sky. It appeared to be a star (Which was strange considering stars are not usually visual during this time of day with the sun still shinning bright) because it was so still in the sky. After what seemed to be 2 minutes, this second object began to move south in the sky as well about the same speed as the first. This object would also speed up then slow down and make slight turns while ultimately keeping a flight path towards the south. After losing sight of this object because of trees, my wife and I went to sit in the spa. Almost immediately after getting into the spa I noticed the object out of the left corner of my eye towards the east of me and was heading north. It seemed the object had made a complete 180 degree turn. The object was a little lower in the sky towards the horizon and was much bigger at this point. It seemed to be a white sphere that was sh! inning bright in the sky. After observing the object heading north for about 5 minutes, we again lost sight of it because of trees obstructing our view. I did not have a camera on me at the time so unfortunately no pictures were taken of these objects.

Exactly one week later at 12:00 noon on Saturday August 21, 2010 while walking out to my vehicle, I noticed the same type of bright white “star-like” “orb” object in the distance northern sky (Altitude, size of the object, and distance unknown). I immediately ran into the house to grab my camera and told my wife to come out in order to confirm what I was seeing. She did confirm seeing the object in the sky and I was able to record a video of it as well as take some pictures. Also, something strange happened when I uploaded the pics of the object to my computer. When I zoomed into the object, I noticed many more of these strange "White Balls.” These other objects were smaller, but I believe this was due to being further away.

After my experience observing these unidentified aerial objects and finding so many other videos and pictures of the same types of aerial objects online from all over the world, I am almost convinced this is something that is extraterrestrial in origin. I am truly amazed at how many other pics and videos from around the world show the same type of objects that my wife and I have observed. It seems out of all the videos and pics I have seen thus far after researching this subject for the past couple of weeks, it seems this type of object shows up more than any other unidentified sightings. Interesting considering just a few weeks ago my wife and I were skeptical of this kind of stuff. We both have Masters Degrees in Business (M.B.A.) and our brains/minds are “pre-wired” to think logically and in a scientific manner. After going through a process of elimination in our minds, we just can’t seem to find an answer as to what this was. We have researched this thoroughly and have a! nalyzed pictures and videos of other aircraft, weather balloons, and other aerial explainable phenomenon. We just hope you can help provide some answers to our experience.

Bright white oval objects caught on camera in Thousand Oaks, CA during daylight...

bright light in sky every night for last 8 nights and counting CA

For about the last 7 or 8 evenings, starting at roughly sundown (around 8:30 pm) , a very bright light appears in the sky over what I estimate to be Camarillo, which is the next town north from where I witness this strange nightly occurrence. I have viewed it from several different vantage points, both with the naked eye and with binoculars, a well as taken pictures. Anybody who looks up at the sky could clearly see it. It is not being shy or covert at all. It doesn’t seem to move much except to make a very slow descent behind the big mountain that makes up one half of the Camarillo grade (101 freeway, where truck scales are), so by 11:30 or so, it ha disappeared from my view. It does appear to change colors occasionally, from brilliant white, to a hazy yellowish orange, to a bluish white glow, and sometimes a red aura appears on the top part of whatever this is. It also appeared to have some much smaller, much dimmer lights come off it in several instances over the past week. Because there is a military base nearby ( Point Mugu) I at first thought it was some kind of helicopter holding its position in a military exercise of some kind. And it might be just that, I don’t know what it is at this point.

I wouldn’t have even come here to post this, except for a caller I heard on the Coast to Coast radio show that described how he was seeing a strange bright light in the sky from sundown to 11:30pm, and this had been every evening for the last week or so. He went on to describe the very same characteristics that the light I was seeing possessed.

The show host told this caller to report his sighting on this website. So I figured I should do the same with my sighting, for whatever its worth. I unfortunately did not hear where the caller was calling from, but would like to find out if it’s the same light or two different ones in two separate places. I guess I will just continue to watch it at night, and to try to get some better pictures of it.

The first sighting was about 11:00 am. The object appeared white, not shiny. Altitude, maybe around 5000 feet and very slowly moving to the east, and no sound. This was not a balloon or a bird. I looked thruogh binoculars and it just looked white and round, maybe oval.

The second sighting was about 10 minutes later in the same spot, slowly moving east, looked exactly the same. Not balloons, or a balloon. Judging by the airplanes in the LAX flight path, the object could have had a 20-30 foot diameter.

I saw two lights about to collide then suddenly one circles the other before they take off at rapid speed.

I was driving home from work, and as I was approaching a stop sign on the road, I saw two lights coming straight towards each other. I thought it was two planes about to crash. I noticed that they were moving very fast and the objects were a solid colored light and not blinking like a regular aircraft.

Just as it looked like they were about to collide, one light circled the other and they both took off in sync at a rapid speed going West. I stopped in the middle of the intersection because I was very frightened, and through the trees I saw them break off and travel slower at a more normal speed.

I turned the corner and straight ahead out the window the lights were in sync again now traveling faster going South. Far from where I just saw them before, then out of sight.

Bright blue flare enters atmosphere, quickly shifts horizontal, gains altitude for 7 secs, blinks blue 24 times while descending fully

Thousand Oaks, CA. We were on a hike at 10:45pm at the Southern end of Moorpark Ave, half way up the "bench trail." While looking North , a friend and I noticed a large meteor with a cobalt blue flare, which entered the atmosphere from East to West at about a 130 degree angle, one of the most large flares that I have ever witnessed. It seemed to burn out briefly however reignited at the same intensity, which caught our attn (since normally you would expect a meteor to burn out). However while still approaching the horizon at a fast speed, we’re thinking it’s going to hit the ground, however the blue flare suddenly shifted horizontally (cardinal West) and faded to an faint orange dot (similar in size to viewing a satellite in orbit with the naked eye). Visibility was great since we were well removed from any city lights; the Milky Way was faintly visible, which for So Cal Suburbs is normally rare.

This orange dot then reversed completely 180 degrees then arced slowly counterclockwise to 0 degrees and rose in altitude quite a distance(for about 5-7 seconds). More amazingly is when we saw the same cobalt blue flare return (more oval shaped without the entry trail) and blink every second for a total of 24 blinks as it lowered to the horizon and behind a hill between our city and a neighboring community. It was difficult to gauge the distance of the object from us, but looked to be within the local vicinity, possibly as far as Fillmore, directly North. Not knowing the actual size of this object, this could have been further North, as far as Bakersfield. The total event took all of 40-45 seconds, ending as it lowered behind the mountain range to the North.

Distant very bright object holds position over 20 minutes then moves rapidly, slows to near stop then explodes and falls toward earth.

Just after the sun had set while looking South West at the moon, which was about 50 degrees high in the sky, I noticed a bright light at about 30 degrees high and around the 5 o’clock position from the moon, which I assumed was the planet Venus, very bright. It was very slight oval to circular in shape and had a bluish haze to it. After grabbing binoculars (10 x 50) and observing the object in the same position for around 20+ minutes it suddenly and very quickly moved to the 9 o’clock position of the moon and continued to move toward the 10 o’clock heading north at a very slow rate. At that moment there was a large puff of misty light-grey smoke and the object immediately dimmed and exploded into red flames and plummeted towards the earth. As it fell, smaller pieces broke away, and the flames appeared to grow brighter until after a minute or so of falling it burned out and I was unable to continue tracking due to low light. However, for a moment after the flames went out I did see a dark object continue to fall. As far as distance from me that the object was I can only guess at least 10 miles maybe 70. It did take well over a minute for it to fall about 8 inches at arms length.

Three high speed orange lights in a long narrow triangular pattern over Thousand Oaks CA.

I have been an amateur astronomer for over 45 years. In the old days, I listened to Sputnik and watched the ECHO satellites. I have built telescopes and have spent many hours watching and photographing the sky. Over the years, I have seen all of the usual UFO candidates like satellites, flocks of birds, highflying aircraft, balloons, blimps, and rocket launches (we can see them from Vandenberg). So, I am reporting this in the hope that someone can give me an explanation for what I saw.

The sky was clear and dark. I was looking for a comet when I saw three orange lights (approx magnitude 4) traveling at an apparent high rate of speed from north to south, passing about 3 degrees west of the Pleiades. I believe that their altitude was greater than that of an aircraft on approach to LAX or Burbank. Even though the sky was dark and clear, the lights did not appear to be true points of light, as the stars did. I had the impression that they had ?dimension?. It was as though I was viewing them through a light cloud, but there were no clouds. One light was distinctly ahead of the other two by at least 2 degrees. The trailing two appeared to be side-by-side with approximately a ¼ to ½ degree separation. One of the trailing two then appeared to overtake the other and their separation decreased to near zero. The one that appeared to overtake the other then went slightly ahead. They all vanished about 45 degrees above the southern horizon. There was no sound or trail. The behavior is consistent with a typical satellite, except that there were three at once and the apparent passing of one by another. I checked satellite-viewing websites and could not find any naked eye satellites that would have matched what I saw.

The object or light would move quickly from right to left, and move in a circular motion vertically.

5:05 A.M. on Saturday the 18th, 2004, I noticed a Bright Light over the southern Santa Monica Mountains behind my home. This light was what I believed to be a star but was only several hundred feet above the mountains. I watched this light for a while as it changed colors from Green, to Red, to Blue. I believed it to be from X-mas light reflection, but then I noticed the light would move quickly from right to left. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I got up to see what it was and if it was windy outside. No wind and the sky was bright like a full moon. When I noticed that the light could not be from X-Mas lights or anything imaginable I took out my binoculars and noticed the light was bright white and moving in a circular motion vertically and would shift from right to left hundreds of feet and stop. Occasionally a bright white light would reflect off the mountains below this light lighting up the entire top of the mountains. I watched this light for about 20 minutes then woke my wife to see what I was watching. Within five minutes of this the light dimmed into a glow and suddenly disappeared. The next morning at about the same time I looked out the window for the same star or light, and there was nothing there.

((Husband's name deleted)) At around 5:25 a.m. on Sat. the 18th, 2004 my husband woke me up and told me he wanted me to see something. We went into the family room to the sliding door and kneeled down on the floor. Outside above the mountains, what seemed to be south and several hundred feet away, was a huge star. This star was larger than any star I had ever seen and seemed to sit not far above the mountains. The sky seemed to be well lit and it changed from white to blue and then green. My husband was trying to focus the binoculars for me, and as I continued to watch it, all of the sudden the light turned off and there was a faint glow of light in the sky and it was gone in the blink of an eye. It was gone by 5:30. The next night and morning I couldn’t sleep and was looking outside every hour for the same thing to happen. There was nothing there.

Blimp object a UFO?

We were in the car driving my brother to college when I looked off to the right out of the window and saw what I assumed to be a weird, blimp. Everything else in the city was pitch black but the object was grayish and it seemed like it had light on it or init. I turned to my stepfather who was also in the car and told him i just saw a ufo. Me being the ufo lover I am, my brother didnt bother looking but my stepdad did. He too saw what he describes as a saucer kind of shape that was silver in color and had a had a light blinking on top. We only saw it for a few seconds then it was blocked by hills. It could have easily been a blimp but when we came back to check ten minutes later we saw nothing. And when we saw it before it was not moving. UFO?

Iwas Traveling 101 I saw a object moveing east to west less than a mileup.Another vehicle ahead saw also a for a minute lost control of vehicle, we both pulled to the side and watched this thing slowly travel east to west with no sound. It blacked out the stars it was so big.

Dark unlit UFO, that initially looks like a soaring bird then it splits into two crafts.

I was getting out of a boy scout meeting for my 7 year old nephew the house was in a poorly lit neighborhood. I could see lots of stars. I was smoking a cigarette and my nephew had to go to the bathroom and went in the bushes. While we waited to go home, I saw a rabbit and then looked up and told my nephew to look at the huge bird flying above us. I initially thought it was a bird because there were no lights on the object. The craft resebled a wingspan of a bird, long and thin. I thought it was going roughly 20 miles per hour at an assumed distance of roughly 150 feet up. I continued to watch the object while it flew toward the horizon (southeast with 101 fwy, oceanside). The opbject had what appeared to be stripes on each wing and I waited for wings to flap. There was little to no groung wind. After watching the objectgo into the horizon I was confident still that it was just a bird but still watched. Then it did something amazing, the object split in two parts just before it was near the horizon and each part/wing went off in east and west directions until I couldn't make it out in the sky. I was in the Air Force for the past 6 years before the incident and have seen many planes fly in my presence including the B2 and it was definately not a public jet. The object made no sounds, and it was a quiet night. At first I thought it was dumb to report this but then I thought about all the other types of sightings I had seen on TV and thought since mine was different then all of them I should report it. I have made a crude animated gif file of the sighting I have uploaded.

I awoke at 4:30 a.m. and was lying awake in bed looking out the window. I saw a large round yellow glowing object close to the ground far off in the distance and did not take note of it because I thought it was a full moon close to the ground. It was partially blocked by some thin trees.As I lay there, the object began to ascend very very slowly. As it began moving, I jumped out of bed and ran to the window watching as it rose above the tree level and house level. I cannot tell how far off it was -- perhaps a few miles.Once it finished rising, it sat in the sky for a few seconds not moving -- then in a split second shot off to the right, disappearing. I ran out of my room, down the hall, and into the living room which was the direction that the object flew. I looked out of the sliding glass door in the living room, but the object was gone.Again, it was just a round, glowing, yellow object, with no other distinctive features.I have only told a very few select individuals about this over the past almost 20 years -- people that I knew would at least believe that I was not lying to them -- even if they don't happen to believe in UFO's. When I heard about your organization, I figured I would at least log this siting with you -- perhaps it can help you in some way.
