Several glowing orb lights in random formation above Hwy 80 in Emeryville

Wednesday evening, February 9th, I was driving near the Chevys parking lot on the Emeryville Pier and saw what I thought were lights attached to the construction cranes hanging over Hwy 80 (several exits were under repair at the time). However, as I stared at them, I realized it was something different and pulled my car over immediately to get out and take a look. What I saw were 5 softly glowing, silent orange lights in a random formation over the highway. Each light was slowly pulsating. It seemed as if they were just hovering there, but it also seemed like they were moving towards the Oakland Hills. The formation was random; a couple of them seemed quite near the highway.

I drove my car over to the end of the pier, by the boats, to see if I could watch them further. By the time I got there, the lights were already closer to or directly above the Oakland Hills. I watched a couple of them sink behind the hills and the rest drift further east into the fog, where they disappeared. I kept watching, and noticed either 2 additional glowing orbs or the same 2 orbs that floated behind the hills earlier float back up from behind the hills before following the rest into the distance. I thought I saw one more as I went to my car, but I can't be sure. I couldn't take my eyes off the sky for a little while longer and just watched and watched, to make sure I didn't miss anything.

This took place over the course of a half an hour, at night. I've lived in Oakland for years and I tend to watch the sky at night from my porch, so I have a good sense of the various lights that appear regularly in the night skies (e.g., helicopters, drones, airplanes). The site was strange enough for me to pull over, and then keep watching as long as I could. It gave me an eery feeling.

The only explanations I can think of are flares and paper lanterns, perhaps released from somewhere near or on the pier. The latter seems more likely, given the direction they all seemed to be going. It's conceivable that there was a group of people further down the pier or on one of the boats releasing paper lanterns.

Strange lights in the sky twice in 20 hours.

I debated on whether or not to mention this, but at this point it is a must. I will actually recount 2 occurrences within 72 hours. Both occurring in Emeryville CA. 1st, Friday April 10th at around 6pm. I saw a strange sphere resting toward the edge of a cloud. It was perfect in circumference and appeared to be whitish with a faint hue of blue around certain parts of its edges most likely due to reflection of the bright sun that was out. It was sitting perfectly stagnant. It caused me to lose focus on my driving and almost hit the driver in front of me at the stop sign at Peralta and Mandela Parkway on the Emeryville/West Oakland border. After slamming on my breaks I got out of my car. The man in the car I almost hit must've noticed me noticing it, and noticed it then himself. He also chose to get out of his car. I asked if he was seeing what I was seeing and replied simply "yes. Wow". This man was in his 30s and more than likely middle eastern but I did not confirm this with him. I then asked him "who in the world will believe us?" He smirked and simply replied "no one" and re-entered his car to drive off. When I began walking toward his car to ask his name, he began to leave. Having a broken cell phone I didn't have an operable camera to use nor did I think of it at the time because I was too busy being perplexed. Fast forward around 19 hours and that brings us to this report. I thought long and hard before reporting but this time was very uncomfortable. I was driving home from work in Berkeley, CA, and was driving down the 580 toward west Oakland when I glanced out of the driver's side window to the left looking at Emeryville as I was passing it up when a bright light, white in the center much like it was burning that gradually faded into a green "aura" surrounding it. A green "essence" if you will. Imagine the ozone around the Earth (without the holes), then turn that sky fil! led area between the Earth itself and the ozone layer a radian! t green and that's what this was. A layer of green around a brilliant white. What was bothersome to me is it ENTERED our atmosphere and shot toward the ground. It left a green trail in its wake like you'd imagine something burning toward us would. As soon as it reached near ground level it disappeared into the topography of the city. Like it would've landed in the upper Berkeley hills area. Which is not far. 10 miles. 15 maybe. Normally I wouldn't take the time to report something like this. But that is 2 strange occurrences over the short time of Friday April 10 to Sunday April 12. And that's too frequent not to raise concerns. Believe it, don't believe it, doesn't matter. I'm sane, sober, rational and know what I have seen lately is not familiar and unsettling and I've now done my part by telling you. Something is going on, alien, government, I couldn't discern if I wanted to. Something is going on, I know that for certain.

I was in the car going on the highway then going into the sunset I saw the ufos in a v like formation. The passed by very slowly and then in an instant they were gone.

Fast moving linear object with three lights in a night sky.

The craft(s) moved in a straight line to the North in the night sky through light clouds. My viewing was limited, as I was looking straight up and could see it until a house blocked my view. I would say about 30 degrees out from my view straight up. The craft looked like three lights on jumbo jets wing(which would only have one light). The formation was aligned at a slight angle and flew at a high rate of speed silently.

It looked like a vapor trail from a jet engine.

I saw something that I at first thought was a vapor trail from a plane but there was no plane in sight and it was moving fairly fast with no real wind at ground level.

For a moment it appeared to change its form and then return to its chevron shape. Then I lost sight of it. It was headed toward Berkeley, California after passing over Emeryville.

Very bright green flash of light over Emeryville, California.

Not sure what (if anything) happened but I was driving westbound on Interstate 580 (just before the Oakland Bay Bridge) and an incredibly bright green flash lit up the entire sky. I thought I was witnessing some type of explosion but there was no sound following the flash and no visual evidence presented itself. Other drivers appeared to notice the flash as well, as the light-to-moderate traffic slowed immediately and noticeably after the flash. I don't know if this qualifies as a UFO sighting but it did seem extremely strange at the time and I was curious if anybody else reported anything.

oakland-bay bridge sighting?

peter: on the night you were on the jeff rense show i saw what i thought was an airplane from my window. i suppose it was a few minutes before 7pm. i was wondering what it was that i saw and hoped that callers to the show would shed light on the issue.

i thought it was an airplane at first. it had a constillation of lights, gold & white i think. i saw it in the lower sky maybe a few miles from here (very near the s.f. bay bridge) hovering over a rooftop. that's what got my attention-it hung in the sky and didn't move. i thought "how strange!" i continued to watch for a minute or two and then mentally told the thing to come nearer. it didn't. instead, the lights blinked & became brighter for an instant. i saw that clearly and then it sank below the horizon of the rooftop that it had been hovering over.

since the craft did not respond exactly to my mental request, and with the pressure household events, i forgot about it. yesterday (10/13) however, i did recall that the lights *did* brighten! no, it didn't come closer, (it wouldn't do the 'here fido!' bit) but it did respond. either it did respond or it was a rather large "co-inky-dink"-eh? so, i don't know what it was. with all the terror in our skiesit may have been an advanced military craft...but then for all i know it could have been full of little green men. i was hoping that other people in the oakland bay bridge area might have seen something as well.
