Light like a star came closer to me then shot off into space.

I was talking about UFOS and their existence stepped outside to take my dog I suddenly felt weird so I looked up quickly. Within seconds a bright light that was stationary suddenly dropped rapidly in elevation towards me and just as quickly shot off into space. The whole incident was not even 5 seconds. The light was very similar to a star. Impossible movements that no humans are capable of. I was talking about them beforehand which I thought was very odd. It was a light. It didn't have lights on it. It was too fast to capture I'm lucky I saw it. No sounds. No trail .

It flew so low in made a hum that made my eyes hurt it shot past so low to the point the trees blew from the wind I saw one big light

I saw it land my family owns a decent size property in landed and this thing came out tall it was walking with a limp but the limp would switch between legs as it walk it’s mouth was huge almost as if it was unhinged from its jaw teeth small but so many of them it started walking blankly in a direction slowly then stopped slow turned it’s head and stared directly at me it then made a crackling sound almost like a firework that sparkles it started to walk towards me but stopped walking towards me it look as if it had no eyes but it did as it opened them it had 3 eye orange with what I saw and orbs as it’s pupils it then I don’t know how but I understood it it had me feeling a way that I was in distress but at the same time in a harm hopeful place a place where I was calm but it was almost talking to me and it keep repeating you are not alone I veiw you and another it said bugs live under your skin peel the open open your self to my fate it soon walked back to its ship and flew away so fast I couldn’t keep up I ran back to my house but didn’t say anything to my parents I have adhd and I was scared they’d think I was going crazy but I know what I saw it was real life I cried the rest of that night and I know what I saw was real it was no dream or be going crazy I was scared and this thing is out there weather it be no longer on earth it’s out there

Object floatimg and strobing brightness, after time it moves changes color etc. Not normal, not helicopter or plane or drone

I went outside of my job and sat on the stairs of 509 south 9th street and looked towards the left and the abandoned school.. Some distance above it was a rather large bright white light that was pulsating its brightness, after about a minute of hovering and strobing brightness it seemed to get so bright it almost looked like it split into 2. If you slow the video down you can see clear space between 2 different color orbs. The object then start moving in a straight line left. Its color was more of a red oramge now, still pulsing. Not like a plane flashing its lights, not a helicoper(because our hospital has a helipad and helicopter) and its movement an and height in sky didn't look like a drone, or anything I've ever seen(and I observe the night sky every chamce I get, im learning the cosmos). It moved in a straight line until disappearing from my view. The weirdest part is that when I'd zoom in to get a better pic on video, it was as f it disapeared, like it didn’t want to be seen. I took still shots of it in slowmo and no clear shape other than an s rotated sideways was shown

Extremely fast moving, dimly lit, triangular shaped object in sky.

I was in my backyard with my boyfriend looking at the stars. I saw what I thought was a satellite and started to say so but it was moving way way too fast. He looked up and saw it as well. There were no trails or lights just an extremely fast moving object in the night sky traveling we believe from North to South. It was moving as fast as a shooting star, never stopped moving and continued across the upper western horizon until we could no longer see it. We tried to think of anything it could have been but it was moving so so fast, was silent and had no lights or flashes making it somewhat difficult to see. What slight glow(if any) or silhouette of the object we could see looked to be triangular or possibly diamond shaped. Too fast to be a satellite, too quiet and unlit to be a lower flying jet and too high up and fast to be a bird. Possibly some new technology stealth aircraft? That's what we're telling ourselves.

I’m a night owl. I went out to smoke a cigarette on the porch. Animals, noises, and even forest mysteries don’t frighten or deter me from the isolation… I was sitting on the porch and as someone that lives in the city and is not observant— the sparkling light traveling to the left of me didnt strike me… we are so used to planes. It struck me suddenly- I was in the mountains… not in an aero path… what was that light in the trees?

I stared at it to the left of the porch watching it move— until it finally reached a clearing. Beautiful. From left to right. A strip of light like a DJ rave… but it only had certain colors…. As I stared and sort of began to realize what I was looking at….

In an instant it was like “IT” saw me too. It began to start directly towards me and I thought, “No Way!” A lot of things went through my mind. And I thought “Man this planet sucks Let’s Go!” But it got so close— I got scared. I thought of if they took me I’d miss my dad.

The rainbow DJ of the disc on the quarter’s edge as it approached. When I got scared I ran in really quick and turned thd porch light off— I ran back out and it slowly switched directions. Like it knew I was scared.

Well I knew no one would believe it. So Iran into my dads room and told him to hurry I saw a spaceship NOW

By the time dad came out the mysterious undulating he saw go from horizontal to vertically land almost on forest ridge… we fondly called it rainbow brite which appeared around distantly— a couple days/—

One emensely bright light observed to my northwest which faded after about 12 seconds after it caught my eye. Didn't move.

I was leaving my work this evening. I'm a broadcast meteorologist & amateur astronomer. A bright light, about twice as bright as Venus, caught my attention in the northwest sky. This light was not moving, about 40 degrees above the horizon directly northwest. It gradually faded after about 12 seconds and still did not move.

I ruled out any satellite flare or ISS transit.

The two of us were out after dark talking when he noted a bright orange light coming toward us just above the horizon from the SE. It came to my view almost immediately from over the garage. We both noted that it was a bright orange light, but appearing to be glowing, maybe burning, with a somewhat fan-shaped brighter glow above it than in the lower 2/3s, around the light. It was bright enough to think it was a plane with its headlights on coming straight at us (probably even much brighter), only it was one large orange light, not a white pair of lights. At arm’s length, it was about the size of a pencil eraser. At first we thought it was very low, as it was moving very quickly in a straight line that went almost directly over us. At that time of the night the sky was still clear, with only a few clouds coming in from the SW. We had been looking at stars, so the sky was still quite visible, and pretty. There was no wind.

As it went over head, we listened for airplane sound and never heard any, even after it had completely disappeared to our NW. As it went over, it was clear that it was higher in the sky than we first thought – maybe 10,000’ or more. We get Seattle air traffic here regularly, and they are at 30,000’ as they go over and we can easily hear them.

After it passed, it grew dimmer, much faster than when it was coming at us. It was very bright the whole time it was coming at us, but as it passed, it was darker like it was the back of whatever was causing the light. We speculated that it might have been a satellite burning up, but I don’t think they travel SE-NW. We also thought it might be a meteor burning (which would explain the glow around it) but it never appeared to have a tail or burning debris falling off. Amazingly, it appeared to be traveling in a very straight line.

It disappeared over the mountains to our NW, somewhat south of Wenatchee. The whole duration of the event was probably only about a minute. Our time of the event will be pretty accurate, because I immediately went into the house and called my brother. The phone recorded my call time.

I am a retired Army officer and a retired school counselor, and my friend is still working with irrigation water equipment.

To us, it was a UFO – unidentified flying object – because we couldn’t identify it. We are sure it wasn’t a plane – jet or prop – or a local drone, because we never heard a sound out of it. Our best guess is a meteor, but it certainly wasn’t like any other we had seen.

Dark Metallic Sphere slowly passed by over head in back yard.

Noticed small dark sphere appear from over tree line in back yard traveling at a fairly slow speed, similar to passing commercial aircraft during approach to Logan airport. Object was approx. at a 70 degree angle in sky from my position, so it passed not far from directly above me. Object briefly passed through low cloud cover as it moved over head passing by having consistent speed and trajectory. Eventually, lost sight of object in cloud cover in distance.

Huge triangle ship, with two smaller ships.

While camping at Ancient Lakes, we first saw what appeared to be a single flashing white orb moving erratically, with some sort of beam that circled around the orb with various colors. After about 5 minutes two additional white lights appeared that created an extremely large triangle with the first.

At that point, the original orb seemed to be shining spotlights at the two additional lights, eventually creating an outline of the entire ship. Shortly after, two additional smaller triangle ships appeared to the north and east of the large ship.

This remained in the sky for approximately 15 minutes. During this time our cell phones did not have service, then the service came back before morning.

Had my car washed at a car wash in West Quincy, Massachusetts. As I am waiting outside for my car to come out of the washing bay, I looked up at the very clear blue sky.

Noticed what appeared to be two seagull type birds at about 100 feet circling each other. When I looked to the right of the birds I noticed what I thought were two other birds circling each other at a great rate of speed, but I realized that they were much too high in the sky to be birds. Would say they were well over 50,000 feet directly above me nearly 90 degrees vertical from the horizon straight up. It looked like the two objects were putting on an air show very high in the atmosphere.

Took out my I Phone to take a picture after one of the objects banked and the sun bounced off of the object revealing a narrow triangular shape body with what appeared to be almost corrogated vertical lines on the side of the object.

Just before I snapped the picture the object disappeared like the light from a light bulb disappears when you turn it off.

The other person waiting for their car said there had been UFO sitings in New Hampshire yesterday.

Again, when the object turned it revealed a thin triangular shape with corrogated vertical lines evenly space along the entire side.

Attempted to take a picture with my I Phone and both objects vanished seconds before I could snap the picture.

Weather conditions. Sunny and clear blye sky.

White fireball.

At 6:14 tonight, I was driving south on highway 281 out of Quincy, Washington. I noticed an extremely bright light plummeting toward earth at about a 30 degree angle. Whilst driving I noticed that the object was white hot, or at least it seemed with a dark area in the middle of it. It actually reminded me of the movie Empire Strikes Back when the probe droids are shot out of the Star Destroyer in the beginning of the movie.

I thought for sure there would be a huge impact, but at the last second, the object leveled out so that it was horizontal to the skyline and just above the mountain range.

It then seemed to glow brighter and brighter then shot off towards the SW in the direction of Mount Rainier.

There was quite a few people pulled over on the side of the road I'm sure wondering if they might witness it again.

Elongated reddish orange lights traveling from East to West in Northern California just after midnight New Year's 2014

At approximately midnight and about 15-20 minutes after midnight (New Year's), 6 or 7 elongated reddish orange lights moved slowly across the sky from East to West. With binoculars the shape of each object seemed to be elongated rectangular with an aura of soft white light surrounding the top in an arc shape.

The first two lights at first appeared to be large wingtip lights but then several other lights followed the first two in a one-by-one procession. There was no sound, they moved rather slowly, no jerking and it was difficult to determine how high up in the sky the objects flew.

At the exact point in the sky, overhead from the observation location, each light was no longer visible (faded/blinked out) when it arrived at that point. The lights were spaced apart, not side by side except for the first two observed. They did not travel in a line, but were staggered in formation.

No photo was taken because no smartphone or camera available with night photo capacity.

Multiple pulsating and bizarre formations of reddish-orange orbs maneuvering at various projectories.

On April 12th, 2014, in Quincy, MA (near Wollostan Beach), I witnessed a spectacular event, to which I have no explanation.

I first witnessed 3 distinct orange orbs in a triangular formation that soon became dispersed in a very subtle, and fading in and out-floating way. I honestly thought I was just seeing things, but decided to grab my Ipad and record the following event: Recorded via Ipad(although unfortunately, 10 times illegible versus the naked eye) I was noticing multiple reddish-orange orbs pulsating and maneuvering at odd trajectories. They were lighting up the sky- many many many of them! It was as though some of them would hover and some would skip in the sky. Sometimes leaving visual traces of their flight paths…..

Some would hover, some would move in right angles and zip amongst the sky, some were pulsating, some were moving in what appeared to be in formation- sometimes forming distinct geometric patterns, some flashing in and out of focus, some turning slightly different colors- such as green-amber glows, etc.

That very night, the moon had a very peculiar glow and a mist or cloud formation that took on the shape of a beautiful circle of clouds or something equivalent.

Just so you know, I am an artist and an art professor at a respectable college, and my eyes are very keen to subtlety. I honestly thought that most of what I was seeing was perhaps due to retinal fatigue, but when I went inside after the orange orbs, I decided to Ipad-video record this event.

I do not claim to see little green men. I do not claim to have seen an ET. I DO CLAIM THAT I SAW SOMETHING VERY VERY VERY PECULIAR AND VERY VERY ODD, THAT SEEMS TO BE AN INCREDIBLE VISUAL PHENOMANOM- whether it was natural or something else (even UFO like) I have seen footage of Japanese/chinese lanterns, Aurora Borealis, flares, weather balloons, jets (as my father was in the military- I used to live in Fort Bragg, NC), drones, etc,.. and NONE OF THESE FIT THE BILL!! I have no clue what I saw but am absolutely confounded and mystified what I had seen!!!! Anyways, I hope that I am not crazy, or that I will NOT be publicly humiliated by these words, as I was honestly hesitant about sharing my experience.

At approximately 3am a "UFO" began to circle around our house. We live on the Logan Airport's landing route but have never seen a flying object like this. White and red lights on this object were flashing sporadically. No sound of engines. At 4 am a second "UFO" began to circle. First object circled about 20 times. Once the second one appeared, the 2 circled together for about 5 times until the 1st disappeared. The second UFO had lights much brighter than the first and is moving at a much faster speed. Both objects appeared to be in a triangle shape.

Two of my friends and I were walking around town when one of us described seeing a flash across the sky. We first believed it was lighting but with the absence of clouds, noise and it appearing in different colors we began getting concerned. It continued for another 20 min showing in different brightness levels and colors. We tried to show a parent but it wouldn’t show. It stopped for about five minutes and began once we tried to show another parent who witnessed it. We did some research and found similar sightings near the area over the years.

I'm not entirely sure of the date, but the time is abbout correct. I had been sitting in my backyard drinking, I happened to look up into the night sky, and I saw a light go from white to red and instantly disappear. I had said something about it to my wife, my neighbor, who had gotten home not 10 minutes before(he hadn't seen anything). I sat and stared in the sky for 15-20 minutes after to see if perhaps it was just an airplane I had lost track of(as I had been drinking). I've mentioned this to my father who listens to coast to coast, and he didn't believe me. I was just wondering if this has been reported by others in this area?

Passing from west to east, at approximately 3000 feet altitude, at 19:30 hours on Halloween night, a brilliant, white, oversized, star-like object was sighted, while I was outside of my house observing trick-or treaters. The object was stationary, when first observed, due north of the city, and after 20 seconds it started moving eastward, slowly, for another 20 seconds, in a non-familiar flight path, and then, suddenly, disappeared, when two east-west and west-east commercial aircraft flights approached at high altitude, and then two north-northwest private aircraft passed at approximately 14,000 feet altitude. At arm’s length, the object was one-third the size of my thumbnail. The sky area was observed for another 40 minutes, but the object failed to reappear. The object was of continuous brightness, without strobe, green, or red, navigation lights, and was entirely silent. The local medical helicopter flies over my house regularly and I can say that it w! as not a conventional aircraft of any known kind.

As a trained, USAF, Intelligence Operations NCO, I am totally familiar with all known Jane’s listings of aircraft, and then some. I am, also, a licensed AP Mechanic with Fighter Jets 1 & 2 experience. I am, also, a student pilot and have worked over twenty-five years in the aircraft and weapons industry. I did not have time to step inside for my digital camera.

we stopped by the park by near the river eating arby,s and we noticed that one star was out just one then we noticed it wasnt a star it was moving not real fast but it got a little larger, but it definetly moved.

We hadnt moved and it was now in a completely differnt spot then a red i think it was red light out of the west started falling from the sky as high as you could see up like a flare or something it fell to like as high as some smaller planes fly and it just floated there for a bout 15 min the hole time the other thing was still moving slowly towards it but it was still far away then two jets cam from the north west and circled around it idont know we jumped in the car to get a closer look from the bridge (our way home) and now when we have this perfect view the star like object was gone gone it was simply gone...? no one probably reads this stuff any ways ....i dont know....

Seven unusual objects passed over Quincy Illinois observed by four people two of them experienced pilots.

Four friends having just finished dinner and were setting on the patio facing the north. One of us had just went inside when I spotted what I thought to be two airplanes and alerted my friend, my friend and I are both pilots so of course they drew our interest. We almost instantly knew they were unusual we both decided they were flying at about 3 TO 5 thousand feet and at somewhere between 2 and 3 hundred miles per hour. They appeared to be the shape of an upside down coffee cup but quite frankly it was difficult to tell because of darkness and a bright light on the bottom front, but we all agreed thats what we saw. We were so excited by what we saw we hollered for the one who went inside to come out, we wanted her to witness to this also. They were going in a southwesterly direction staggarded in 2-3-1-1 without formation. We discussed it for awhile and all agreed we had seen something unusual. There were seven unusual aircraft relatively close going at a high rate of speed and we could not hear them. Shortly after they passed the local air ambulance rose an seemed in slow motion in comparison.

High flying, high speed, bright white triangular object observed in full daylight and clear sky

At 4:50 PM (CST) I was facing due west and looked up into the sky. It was almost entirely cloudless, except for the contrails of three jet aircraft passing overhead. About 70 degrees above the horizon, I spotted a very bright white object that appeared acutely triangular in shape. I first assumed it was another airliner, but immediately realized it was flying at a much greater velocity than any of the other aircraft.

I have observed supersonic aircraft in flight. This object appeared to be going every bit as fast, but there was no sonic boom, and no contrail to indicate an exhaust.

It followed a straight line on a south to north track, with a slight west to east angle. I would guess the arc it traversed was about 15 degrees in length. I seemed to be gaining altitue, though I cannot be certain of this. It certainly did not appear to be losing altitude. It simply faded into the clear, blue sky. I got the sense that this object was at a higher altitude than the other nearby craft, but I had no means of veryfying that.

I frequently observe passing satellites. This object was initially every bit as bright as the ISS on a dark night, but I have never seen the space station (or any other satellite) as brightly visible during the full light of day, as this object was. Nor have a seen a satellite follow that path, even if it was in a polar orbit. It also seemed to be moving faster than satellites do, when observed from the ground, and I believe it was accelerating, but I cannot be certain.

I have previously seen a large meteor falling toward earth, and briefly thought it was an aircraft on fire, but this object did not resemble that. It did not have a tail, nor did it flare or disintegrate.

I am a United Methodist minister in the community with a lifelong interest in aircraft and spaceflight. While I have found UFO lore interesting (and I even met J. Allen Hynek, once) I have never seen anything that left me feeling I had witnessed something that defied easy explanation. But, this observation was unlike any other I have experienced, and it is the only one that I have ever reported.

Triangular craft hovering over Quincy, Fl

I was riding with my best friend since birth, driving after football practice. Driving down Highway 90, approaching Quincy, there is a stretch where the road becomes quite straight apart from the hills. My friend turns to me and asks,"Hey..dude..What's that?" and points to an object in the sky with a couple lights on it. Unconcerned, I say,"It's a plane.." He says,"Nah dude, that's not a plane..It's not moving, look." I observe the light and notice that it truly is not moving. The lights are directly in front of us, so we are getting closer and closer, and the lights remain in the same spot.

We eventually pass almost directly underneath the object. It looked like nothing that either of us had ever seen before, and we could not identify its origin, or understand how it was able to stay in the air. We are able to distinguish a triangular craft, about 150 ft in the air. There were three red lights, one on each corner of the underside of the craft, and a flashing white light in the center. It appears to be between 18-25 ft long, 10-15 ft wide, and maybe 8 feet tall at the rear. What I assume was the front was pointed, and the craft grew wider and taller towards the rear, which had a fairly flat and dark side. There are no visible means of propulsion. We slow down to about 30mph and I roll down my window to look up at it, attempting to capture a picture on my phone, but was unsuccessful due to the darkness. The object was making no audible noise, and was just sitting there, hovering above the house where a mentally challenged boy lives. After we passed under the craft, it started to slowly move south, away from the house and highway. It was out of sight shortly after.

Magnitude -8 ball of light seen for 2 minutes over Quincy, California, moving from west to north.

This is the same object that I have seen for years. A white ball of light in the sky that moves silently with a distinct bobbing motion. Moving east from due west, the object then curved toward the north, turning slowly to the north directly under The Big Dipper. The object was very bright, around a magnitude -8. Venus is a magnitude -4.1. Iridium flares peak around -8, and this object was a consistent -8 until the last 30 seconds of its journey across the sky.

This is one of many objects like this that I have seen and reported on over the years in this area. They are not satellites or planes. They make no noise at all.

my wife, and I were coming home tonight from her unlce and Aunt house, my in_laws were with us,while i was driving a I noticed 5 lights in the Sky to the northwest of us,it looked like a square with lights on the corners and one in the center,, as we got closer we could tell it was not one object it was 5 objects.i jokingly said hey look at the ufo's ,, after a min we lost sight of them because tree's were in the way,, when i drove further we could see them again but there were only 3 at that time,, in just a short 10 , to 15 seconds it was 3 objects,, so i pulled the car over, and by then there was only 2 objects left,, we all watched themand would say they looked to be abour 1500 to 2000 feet in the air,, they did not make any sound,,not at all, then flew right over the car heading south east, they were orange in color,, with lights on the bottom,,,, when we 1st seen them it almost looked like 5 candles flying in the air..[ or candle flames ],, they flew about the speed of a slow air plane,, when they moved,, but looked like they were hoovering in one spot when 1st seen them,,,, we called the police after we talked to you on the phone no one else reported them at that time.... and they told me that there were no formation of aircaft in the area at that time,, but we know we seen them,, also called the tv and radio station and no one else reported seeing them

6 objects in 50 minute duration: 4 lights and 2 dark objects

This occurred on Monday night, October 7th, 2006. It began at 7:35 PM and lasted until 8:25 PM involving 4 separate objects, each seen at different times during the 50 minute duration.

The first object was seen at 7:35 PM as I was leaving for a security patrol. The object was seen by me and my co-worker, then later only by me.

The first object came from the south west and moved to the north east. This object was a white ball of light. It stopped 2 times completely, then continued across the sky very slowly.

There was a discernable darkness around the object. Though it did not pass over any major stars, there seemed to be a solid object and not just a light.

An airplane (a regular commercial airliner), about 3-4 minutes into this, came from the north west. Within 30 seconds of the airplane appearing, the light we had been following simply vanished.

I then went on my security patrol. About 5 minutes into the patrol, directly overhead, a small light appeared. It then began to grow in intensity and travel in a southerly direction, reaching a -2 or -3 magnitude, not quite the brightness of Venus.

At 8 PM, I reached about the midpoint in my security round. I saw another light, this time very dim, moving from south east to the north east, crossing through the constellation of Pegasus.

At 8:10 PM, I went to the same spot where the other security guard had seen a triangular UFO fly over him two nights before.

I saw nothing at this point, and left to continue my round.

A light caught my eye in the mountains to the north east. A very bright light near the top of the mountain range.

I went back to my previous position to get a better look. I am very familiar with this mountain range, even in the dark. More pointedly, the stars rise over this mountain range, giving a clear outline of mountains themselves.

If Venus is normally a magnitude of -4 to -5, this was a magnitude of -7 at least. This light/object moved up and down from the top of the mountains, into the sky about a degree or two.

It also moved side to side and two times, and twice increased in brightest and moved in such a way that I felt that it was approaching, however, it never did move overhead.

After calling the other guard about this object, and asking him to come out, it faded to the same magnitude of the star I was watching rise over the hill to its left. It then increased in magnitude and then vanished.

This is similar to another sighting I had on September 29th on an adjacent mountain range.

I was able to rule out a motorcycle or car headlight in that the light/object clearly moved above the horizon, something a normal vehicle could not do.

Once the other guard arrived, he noticed an aberration in the night sky. He pointed to it, and I saw it as well. 2 objects flying low in the sky. One that seemed to be darker than the night sky, traversing over the background stars and another "ghostly" object behind it that also obscured the stars in the background.

These objects came from the areas where the bright light had been and traveled beneath the constellation Pegasus in a north to east trajectory.

Not feeling comfortable about being in that location any longer, we then headed back to our office to complete the patrol.

At 11PM on Friday night, standing looking north north east, a group of lights approached my position.

Color of the lights was amber and indistinct initially (just an amber glow).

As lights approached, no sound was heard. In fact, no sound was heard at anytime.

Lights flew at an almost 1 o'clock angle shy of overhead, with the "wing" of craft being nearly overhead.

Shape of craft was a boomerang shape, with multiple amber colored lights that were around the perimeter of the object outlining its shape.

Object was a craft as stars vanished in between the lights as it slowly moved overhead.

Estimated height (though I had no reference point other than its initial appearance to the North north east and the known height of the mountain range in the background) would be about 2000 feet.

Object slowly banked to the right, crossing through Perseus at about 50 to 60 degree in the sky, and then winked out. It just disappeared, What is interesting is that I was working at Sierra Pacific Industries. This was on my patrol and it flew nearly over the mill itself. SPI is the largest lumber mill on the west coast.

Duration of event was about 3-4 minutes.

Oddity of the incident (other than its appearance) was a sudden feeling of calmness just prior to it winking out.

Tri-colored cylinder shaped object at about 500 feet disappears into mountains 5-10 miles away.

I was looking toward the southeast. I saw a flashing yellow light. As it got closer, I noticed that this object was low. The surrounding hills are about 500 -1000 feet high. The craft kept moving to my right and at this point I saw 3 colors. The right side was the yellow light. The middle was red and the left side was white. The shape of the craft was like a cylinder, in that all of the lights seemed uniform in size and shape.

What was strange was that the craft, which I thought was a plane or helicopter, its lights would dim and brighten up at the same time. It was not like the usual "blip" of a plane, but the lights would fade in and out, all at the same time. Imagine opening and closing your hand. That was the effect.

The moon is almost full, so I could see the silhouette of the hills to my right. The object crossed over the first set of hills, and then disappeared behind the 2nd. The hills at this point are no higher than 500 feet. So, I expected whatever this was to bank over them and then go to the local airport only 3 or 4 miles away.

The object never reappeared. I was not in a very noisy area, but not perfectly quiet, so I cannot tell you if it was making any sounds.

One very interesting thing is that at about 7:00 to 7:15 PM a large helicopter flew over our town. Although the moon was out, the helicopter was at about 2 o’clock and I could not make out its shape against the night sky.

I heard the helicopter first, and then saw that it had a yellow or orange light. It made the usual "blip." A very small white light preceded these lights. It was very hard to see because of the streetlights, but based on its location, this helicopter was very long. It could have been one of the dual propeller ones. Anyway, it banked over the town and headed northwest. As it left, there were 2 lights in the back, blipping at different quick intervals, then a minute later, back to only one.

We have had helicopters fly over before. However, they usually land at the airport. This one banked away from the airport, and disappeared.

Anyway, I actually expected to see a flash of light because of how low the craft was. I thought it was going to crash. However, there was no flash. All I know is that this tri-colored cylindrical object was visible for about 1 to 2 minutes, and then disappeared behind some hills. Perhaps it was a plane, but I have never seen one that low that did not land at the airport.

2/8/07 6:30 quincy wa 60 sec i was talken to my grilfriend as i looked up and saw a golen

while talking to my girlfriend on my cell phone i saw something towerd the hill range toward the back side to ephrata ,wa it at first look like a big spotlight,but sa it came up above the hill range. i saw it more clearly to my astonisment it was a golden ovel object with a tail traling below it. i observe it for 60 sec, then it moved towerd a cloud and it went into the clound and then it cam e out of the clound and then it vanished and this is no joke im for real

I was out on my back deck with a friend and looked up at a clear sky at the stars. Then I noticed what looked like a star about the same distance in the sky moving at the same speed a plane would across the sky but much too far away. I continued to watch this object as it made its way toward another star is if the crash into it. At that point it was still moving in a straight line until it came close to the other star. I was breathless as it speed up and made a half circle around the star and continued on its path heading due north. Again, all this happened within 10-15 seconds then puff it was gone. My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief. Incredible experience and my first in 36 years....

At about 6:00 PM my wife and I came out of our barn and saw a light in clouds to the west.

The light was white and could be seen dimming, and becoming brighter. The object exited the clouds, growing slowly in brightness until it was in the clear starry sky.

The slow brightening of the object showed how low the object was. A jet would have instantly appeared. This object was in the low surrounding clouds.

The object traversed from west to east, at about a 40-45 degrees above the horizon. We were facing north north west.

It had no blinking lights. It was white in color. The brightness remained constant upon exiting the clouds up until it disappeared into another cloud blank to the east.

The object made no sound. It was very quiet out. Our property had just flooded and we could hear wate trickling 50 yards away. We waited a few minutes but heard no sounds of a jet or a Cessna.

I looked for an exterior structure around the orb as it passed across the many stars. The stars remained constant. It was only a sphere with a slight haze surrounding it.

The speed was consistent with a jet at 30,000 feet, and much faster than a Cessna. We live within 3 miles of the local airport, so we are familiar with their night time speeds and flight patterns. Thsi was not a Cessna.

The object also had what I call a "bob and weave" motion to it. It did not fly in a completely straight trajectory. It seemed to have a slight bounce to it, though not noticable unless it was in close proximity to nearby stars.

I am very happy with this sighting. It is the first time that my wife and I have seen one together. The entire event lasted about 2 to 3 minutes.

I was standing in the train station and I noticed a small fireball falling diagonally from the sky that had a smoke trail behind it and then dissapeared.

Seconds later, I saw a second one coming down from the sky. It came straight down then it made a 90 degree turn away from me and disappeared. Finally I saw a third one going up straight towards the sky before vanishing.

Shimmering egg shaped object heading north over CA.

Egg shaped object heading north at 11:55am. I was at work noticing how the moon was still visible in the middle of the day, when a flash of light in the sky caught my eye. Then it flashed again, and I saw a shimmering ball to egg shaped object moving north holding an extremely constant heading, altitude, and speed. There was no sound or contrails. I thought it might have been a mylar baloon, but it was odd that when it was'nt reflecting light, it was black. IF you put a silver baloon against a blue sky, it will apear white. I know because I worked in the Air Force as a weather observer, and rawinsaunde operator. I am also an instrument rated pilot. Since the object had no wings or protrusions, it was impossible to reference it's size, altitude, or speed. If it was a baloon, it could'nt have been more than 500 feet high AGL, traveling at 100 kts. (the upper air winds were out of the south, but only 15kts.) After the object went out of view, I stared at the sky for a couple of minutes, then started to go back to work when I heard the sound of a jet engine out of the southeast. I spotted the jet, and could make out the delta wing. It was up around 30,000 feet flying a wide S patern coming up behind whe object's path screaming at well over mach 1. If the object was at 30,000 feet, I would estimate it to be the size of the space shuttle with a ground speed of over mach 2.

Blueish/Green ball of light lasted for 2 seconds moving very fast toward the West.

I was sitting here at my computer with the window open right behind the monitor about 6 minutes ago. It is very dark outside. I looked up out the window and saw a greenish/blue ball of light shooting across the sky heading West and down. This is my first UFO sighting. I have researched UFOs almost daily for a few years and I am very excited. I know it is possible this is just a fireball meteorite but the blueish green glow looked very unfamiliar. It lasted for 2 seconds and disappeared. It started about 2 fist lengths (with arms out) from the West horizon and went west and down. It was very very bright. I hope others have seen this. If it was high enough, people in the California Valley probably saw it also. I live at 3,400 feet elevation in the Sierra Mountains near Reno.

While out stargazing, my wife and I observed a small red light moving overhead in an arc. We thought this to be a sattelite, and were duly impressed, but the object then changed color to brilliant white, increasing in magnitude by a factor of 10X, it then made a course change and changed headings from South to North- to a North-East heading. Rate of speed increased after course change, total legnth of sighting was no more than 60 seconds total. We were both stunned by the "flare" since we were both convinced it was a satellite until that point.

While stargazing on the North side of Bucks Lake, my wife and I saw a pinpoint of white light, suddenly increase in size( like a rapid decent), to a size we Estimate approx. 1/6 the size of a full moon. This occurred to the N-NE of our vantage point.(Open parking lot near beaches), at an azimuth of approx. 25' over the horizon. I was looking up, in the genral direction of Signus the Swan, at 22:20:30. The exact time was known because an Iridium flare was to occur at 22:21:34. The Alt of object was between 40 - 45 degrees, Az, from 30 degrees to 60 degrees Object was bright white, but oval in shape. It never lost nor gained in the intensity of its brightness It vanished, in a quick fade or "wink". No sound.

was in the western sky, was flashing bright colors and looked as if once in a while shot off a red light. moves northwest and gets lower in the sky. that night it completely disappeared although you could see the other stars around it.

it is a real bright object in the western sky and moves northwest and lowers down in the sky. it somewhat resembles a bird or a vee with a tail. when seen through the binoculars, it is very bright at times and then gets dimmer then brightens up again. it looks like it is rotating and changing colors. it at times looks as though it is shooting something out of it. it looks like fireworks. or sometimes like a fan. i first thought maybe it was a satellite or maybe one of the space stations, now i really would like to know what it is. you can still see it on a clear night, this is july 11,1999

i witnessed 3 crafts, in the sky, with strange lighting, and suspicious movements, tonight at about 9:00pm over dyer mountain, near Lake Almanor, CA.

At 9:00 pm, out for an evening walk, i noticed what appeared to be an airplane flying southeast over dyer mountain. It was moving quite slowly, white and red lights flashing. i then witnessed it to completely change directions, suddenly, headed back towards where it came. two more craft then appeared, towards the north, with red lights, not flashing. they moved suspiciously together, then apart, moving to and from, not in straight lines, neither vertically or horizontally. the first, seemingly larger craft then "joined" the two others, and they flew off slowly over the mountain. for about an hour afterwards, i noticed a remarkable number of planes flying over the area, about 1 every 60 seconds. the sighting of the craft lasted about 60 seconds before they flew out of sight. just an ordinary evening stroll turned quite curious. this was the first sighting of this type i have ever had.

On a deer hunting trip in California 1984 close to Quency and the feather river in a mountainous area we camped in aarea called Humbug creek.Returning from a hunt my brother and I sat at our camp site it was 9:00am in the morning.My eyes focused on a craft moving in the airspace above us and I could not see any wings or here any motor noise.I said to my brother,what is that? I stated that I would get my binockulars and he should keep watching it.I ran to my truck and back again with the binockulars,my brother stated that whatever it was has dissapeered.What I had seen looked like a silver color and no shape outline was clear to me.My brother stated that as he watched it for the few seconds it just went to a blur and then disapeared.He said it appeared to have a cigar shape.That was it,all clear skies and it was gone.

Huge triangular UFO travelling extremely slow, but with impossible right and left darting movements.

My wife and I were camping at the Plumas Eureka Camp Grounds, approximate elevation of 7,000 feet. It was Monday evening, near 11pm, all but one other camp site had folded up and left for home. The night was clear with no moon. The object came from NW travelling SE at a very slow rate of speed (estimate 40 to 70 MPH). Too slow to remain airborn. The shape was triangular (at the time I was calling it Delta Wing Shape). It was approx. 1000 to 2500 ft above us. The triangular shape was decerned by the stars it block out. There were circular white lights emmitting from the bottom of the craft.The craft appeared to be HUGE, over 200 feet. It was eerily silent. The remarkable thing was how it made these occasional sporadic quick moves, as it darted left or right, like a kit being jerked by string. No human could have withstood the movements without being severe damage to body or brain. We watched the craft until it dissapeard over the mountain. It never changed altitude. We asked people in Grey Eagle the next day about it, thinking everyone would be talking about it. No one saw it. After packing up and coming home we thought about it for a day or two. Then thought someone should be notified. Called the USAF. They weren't interested, told us to file a report with the Sherrif if we wanted. Now, we were starting to feel foolish, but called the Plumas county Sherrif anyway. I was hoping he would tell me he had many reports. He didn't have any, but was kind enough to take the report without ridiculing me. I am now 56 years old, a loan officer at a major bank. Was in the military with a secret security clearanced. Worked with helicopters and spent two years at a missle site.

We've had government jets flying over looking for marijuana plants, and I assumed that was what it was, so I waved at them, though at the time, they were looking forward, and not at me..Then the craft took off without a sound..

Bright blue/white light and lost time.

I am writing of this encounter just to document it.

I cant give exact dates or even the year as a fact. I do recall the event very clearly, but it is something that my family and I have never spoken of.

Well, a couple of years ago I did ask my mother some things about that night, but she has no memory of it. There is really not a lot to tell about the actual sighting but I will do my best to explain my encounter. I will also mention facts I do remember to help substantiate my gaps in memory.

It was about 6:30 pm when my family and I were going into Quincy,Il. We were coming from Fowler, N.E. of Quincy.

We drove west down U.S. 24 to Neikamps corner where we turned South. We traveled south to Ellington Road where we turned and headed west again. We traveled about 200 feet west when the encounter began.

We were going into Quincy to go to church, we were going to a revival meeting. This being said, helps me to establish the time and approximate date.

The revival meetings started at 7:00pm and the location of the encounter is about a 15 minute drive to the church. We were always early to the meetings as my dad was an usher and had duties before services would begin. This also helps me get a rough idea of the year. I actively attended church with my family from about 1968 to 1972. I want to say the encounter was in 1970 but I can't jog my memory enough to state that as a fact.I do know we were riding in a white 1964 Chevy station wagon. Since my father has died no one remembers when we owned that car.

We were heading west, just in front of the WGEM radio towers. I was setting behind the driver looking south out the window. The sky began to become very bright. It was very dark out at 6:30 in the evening so it must have been late fall.

As the sky brightened I became very afraid, I thought it was the end of the world. I remember looking to the sky to see something but there was nothing to see. I then turned and looked north towards the radio tower and saw the brightest blue white light I have ever seen in my life.

The next thing I can remember we were headed south on Columbus road, just coming up to the KHQA radio tower.

No one said a word about anything, we just kept going towards Quincy. We arrived at 16th and Locust in Quincy, without ever talking about the light. Everything looked normal at church when we arrived. I could see the people shaking hands and greeting each other as they always do. We got out of the car and went in and began to socialise as usual when we found out we were late.

The services were over and everyone was going home. This would make the time be around 9:30 or 10:00, services always lasted that long, or even later.

We talked for a bit and then returned home. We missed the whole church service, went back home and never said one word to one another about it.

I have often wondered over the past 38 years or so what happened. Roughly 3 hours of time are gone and not one of us has said anything about it.

I have mentioned it to friends and family a few times, but I have never offered an explanation. I have no idea what happened in the 3 hours but I do know I takes less than 5 minutes to drive from the WGEM towers to the KHQA tower. These towers may be gone now I haven't lived in Illinois for about 20 years now.

A lighted object was silently descending vertically into the canyon, then stopped and hovered

A few days ago, while researching UFO California sightings, I came across the Red Bluff Incident, and it absolutely blew my mind! I am convinced without a shadow of doubt that I was a witness to this event.

From the latter part of June until the 24th of August, 1960, I along with a friend , prospected for gold on the middle fork of the Feather River. We gained access to the river through the little California mine, between Oroville and Quincy Ca.

For many years, I’ve wanted to collaborate this event of August, 1960, but have been unable to do so, until just a few days ago. I’ll try to be brief and precise On an evening in mid August, 1960, I awoke on an open air cot on a sandbar, and was watching the stars and SAC planes when my attention was diverted to movement down the canyon. The river elevation was 1,700’ and the ridge elevation was 6-7000’. A lighted object was silently descending vertically into the canyon. It stopped and hovered. The craft seemed to be rotating with internal rotating lights. As I was watching, the vehicle sent very bright beams of light on the canyon walls, and down to the river. From my vantage point, and because of the extreme terrain, I could not see the floor of the canyon or the river. I may have been 200 - 300 yards, but it is impossible to estimate the actual distance. After a minute or so, the bottom lights disappeared, the vehicle silently ascended and was gone very quickly.

I have discussed this event with my wife and very close friends, but have never joined any groups, or sought information about what I had witnessed. I would welcome some feed back on this if there is still anyone around.

Three teenage males, while driving in the mountains, witness a shiny silver-colored disc.

Dear Sir:

As per our telephone conversation two weeks ago, following is a report of my sighting: On a summer day in July of 1950, I was driving my car on a rural road in Sierra Nevada mountains of Plumas County, California, about 4-5 miles from the town of Quincy, California. At the time, I was almost 19 years old, and I had two friends with me in the front seat, both of whom were a year older than me. The boy in the middle was about a foot shorter than the other two of us, who were nearly six feet tall, this giving the middle boy a much steeper angle of vision out both side windows.

The road was winding alongside of an open field, and I was going about 25 mph. As we approached a ranch house, the boy in the middle asked, “What’s that up there?” Since we were just driving under some electric wires crossing the road to some sheds, the two of us near each side window saw a bird sitting on the wire, and said to the middle boy, “It’s just a bird.” Then, the middle boy said, “I don’t mean that up there, I mean that out there,” pointing out the side window. The other two of us leaned down to look out, and I immediately stopped the car and shut off the engine, and we all got out.

We saw a bright, shining, silver coloured disc-shaped object, like two saucers put together face to face. There was no sign of any windows or ports, just completely smooth. There was absolutely no sound whatsoever. The object would spin completely smooth and straight for a few seconds, and then start to wobble for a few seconds, much as if you spun a metal pie pan on a pointed shaft and then hit it on its edge. The middle boy had been watching it for several minutes before he called our attention to it, and it had apparently been going about the same speed we were (25 mph). We watched in complete astonishment, until it went out of sight over a nearby mountain. I then raced to the top of that mountain to see if we could see it again, but we weren’t able to see it anymore.

I became a private pilot a few years later, so I am able to give an estimate of size and height as follows: It was about the size of a small private aircraft, like a Piper Cub, or similar (aircraft), and was flying about 2,000 feet above the terrain. At this time of my life, I am 85 years old, and I remember it all like it was just yesterday.
