Saw a silver teardrop shaped object over my diablo

As I was driving south on I-680 I noticed a teardrop shaped craft silver and shiny flying over Mt. Diablo mountain range. At first I thought it was a plane. As I approached the Highway 4 interchange the object was still there and I noticed it was silver with no wings. It appeared to slow down. After less than 1 minute it appeared to fly off to the west so fast I couldn’t see it, in a second it was gone. Just a note it’s Fleetweek here in The Bay Area. And the direction it flew was toward SF bay.

Extremely bright, continuoulsy luminous, object moving silently eastward for several minutes, then disappearing in a few seconds.

Looking to the east we saw the a very bright 2/3 moon (about 45 degrees above horizon) and Mars off to its right. It was not yet completely dark, but almost so; still some weak light in the west. It is important to note that the moon, Mars and only the very brightest of stars were visible at this time.

A third extremely bright object was observed just to the left of the moon moving directly eastward. The object was >2x brighter than Mars, and it was white to amber in color and made no noise at all. We could not recognize any shape to the object due to its apparent high altitude. It proceeded silently to the east for several minutes and then disappeared in just a few seconds.

Importantly, there were no blinking navigation lights of any kind observed; the object remained continuously luminous until it vanished.

Due to its excessive brightness, the object did not appear to be a satellite, but I cannot entirely rule out that possibility.

Later we did observe several satellites, which were uniformly very dim and hard to see due to the brightness of the moon. The "UFO" described above was only second in brightness to the moon!

Large diamond shaped flat object suspended in air - motionless on windy day.

I observed a huge flat diamond shaped object hovering above area about 1/2 mile southwest of I-680 Hwy 4 interchange in Pacheco.

It was very windy and the object remained almost motionless. It was fairly low like 600 feet or so in the air.

I circled back because I was so sure of what I observed and after returning on side street it was still present and had moved a bit to the north.

It was larger than any kite I have seen and showed no response to the wind.

It was rush hour and I am surprised not to see hundreds of reports on the net from this observation.

Reddish-orange craft with no blinking nav lights followed at night by three (military) jets with blinking nav lights.

I went outside our home to check on our animals at 8:45 PM. It was dark at this time and I could hear jet engines just to the south of town, which is somewhat unusual in this very rural region of the country. When I looked upward toward the engine noise I saw a reddish-orange object that at first glance appeared to be a normal aircraft. It was flying toward the southwest in a straight line at an estimated altitude of about 20,000 feet. There is a 10,000-foot mountain range in the same direction(immediately west of town) that allowed me to roughly gauge the altitude.

However, what was unusual about this craft, in my opinion, is that it was not blinking at all; there was no evidence of flashing navigation beacons. The light was a steady reddish-orange color, but too distant to make out any other detail. The other unusual aspect of this sighting is that the reddish-orange craft was being followed (perhaps escorted or pursued???) by three jet aircraft that wer! e equipped with normal bright blinking white navigation beacons. The pursuit craft were approximately one mile behind the reddish-orange craft and appeared to maintain that separation distance until all craft eventually disappeared over the mountain range to the west (Chiricahua Mountains).

I am puzzled by the lack of blinking nav lights on the reddish-orange craft. I am under the impression that blinking nav lights are required by the FAA on all aircraft, especially at night.

Bright moving circle of light over Pacheco, California

I was walking down my street and when I turned the corner, There was a bright White light gleaming in the distance, but about the size as if you were to look at the moon from the ground. It was moving in a straight but sort of up and down in a sloppy motion. So I started to record it with my phone and after ten seconds of recording the bright light dicipated and did not return.I have been living by a small airport for years, and I have never seen something like this and there are no hills in the direction of the bright light. So I found it very suspicious. And also after recording my phone was turning on and off for about a week. And still does it occasionally.

Planetary conjunction in Ursa Major? It's not possible

A planetary conjunction in Ursa Major? I couldn't believe my eyes. I was taking a walk just after dark in the Bay Area, after some rain had passed through. The sky was still hazy, but I could make out the brighter stars.

I always look up when I go outside, it's the amateur astronomer (for 25 years now) in me. Turning a street corner, something spectacular caught my eyes just above the stars Dubhe and Merak in the asterism the Big Dipper. The Big Dipper, standing in the sky with its handle down and dipper pointing up, I couldn't help but notice two bright yellow lights, the one on the right brighter and about one degree higher than the other.

At first, my mind automatically thought "planetary conjunction." I've seen many. They were both perfectly still. Then I realized the zodiac goes nowhere near the Dipper, thus no planets could be in that direction.

The bottom planet-like beacon looked like and was about as bright as Saturn is in the sky. The brighter one was about the brightness of Jupiter, but it was as yellow as the dimmer one.

I immediately turned and started to double-time back to the house for the camera, turning once half way to the house. When I turned that one time, the brighter one flared up and dimmed. The other was still there, but dimmed out 20 seconds after the first one did.

I checked the Heavens-Above website, because my first guess was the International Space Station. It turns out that the ISS was in the area ONE HOUR before my sighting, and this was two UFO's, not one.

Could anyone shed any light on this? My only guess is that it was something that separated from the ISS or something like that. No hoax, folks, this was the real deal. Thanks, Peter. Regards, MG from Pacheco.

I was watching a video when I heard a noise outside. The windows were open because it's been very warm here in the Bay Area. The neighbor's dog was loose (as usual), but it sounded like someone might have tossed a plastic cup on the street, so I went out with my flashlight. Seeing the dog loose, I figured things were OK. As I turned to come back into the house, something in the sky caught my eye to the east. Being an amateur astronomer, it's quite common for me to give the sky a glance, even under such circumstances.

What I saw amazed me. Just below the waning Moon yet above the constellation Gemini was a large burnt orange "planet" in the sky. The reason I say "planet" instead of "star" is because it looked like a larger version of what Mars looks like when it was at its closest approach to Earth last summer (or the summer before, I forget at the moment, I'm nervous). It was moving like a satellite, but it was too huge to be the space station. I have seen it before. It was heading towards the northeast. The constellation Auriga was high above it. I watched it for at least a minute. It was moving so slowly, I decided to go in and grab a pair of binoculars. The first pair I found was an old trusty 7x35 Tasco (114 m/1000 m-341 ft/1000 yrds). I rushed back outside, took my glasses off, and zeroed in on it. What I saw astounded me. Not only was this object not circular, it had amazing detail to it. The bottom of it shone with a bright oval glow, just like it was a propulsion of some kind. It reminded me of the Gulf Breeze photos of that Polaroid UFO. Above the smaller, oval "bottom" to it was a larger body above it, attached to it. It looked like three orange beams with at least two dark columns between the glowing parts. Above the "columns" was a dome of some sort, and it all seems to be one piece moving together.

It seemed to be turning, like a tumbling satellite, but I could actually see parts of the craft seeming to twist, giving itself new shapes as it went along. As it continued, the bottom shone brighter and dimmer, and so did the rest of the "craft." It took on a long string-like shape with three prominent oval orange lights, top, middle, and bottom after a while, and when it did that, orange sparks began shooting from the bottom of the "oval" glowing part. I've never seen anything like it. It made no noise, and I'm led to believe it was a dying satellite of some sort, but I've never seen such detail in a satellite, let alone with such a small pair of binoculars. I watched it for at least three minutes. I have a digital camera, but it's hard to even catch the Moon in it, and this object was not as bright in magnitude as the Moon.

Venus was rising when I went back out to take a look at the direction it traveled. It was much larger in size than Venus, although not as bright. To the unaided eye, the object's magnitude was pretty much evenly distributed over its area. Saturn was above and right of Venus, and you could have used 7 Saturns just cover this object with the unaided eye, easily. Did anyone else see this???

Purplish cigar shaped craft 300-350 long came to 50 ft away, 2 min hovered then sped off at rapid speed.

I dont have enough practice on computers to cut and paste reports, therefore I will have to do my best without benefit of spell check, please keep this in mind when reading this reort, for it is both truthfull and verifiable.

In the summer of 1975 it came to my attention that my aunt had a resort property just east of Lawrence Livermore Lab in Marsh Creek California. My Aunt who is now deceaced had kept a journal of numerous sightings she and others had exerienced for many years at the resort during the 70's. I had a freind that was in the same jr high class that was very interested in ufo's and when I mentioned an upcomming family event taking place at the resort and the fact that ufo's were sighted often he asked to be invited along. I only mention these facts at all because this individual happens to now be one of the worlds experts on ufo's. Since no names are to mentioned here, I think it's safe to say that if it comes a time for documenting this report his eye witness testimony would be invaluable.

Anyway on the day in question he and I spent the day scouting places where the craft had been seen to land. On one spot the craft had set down and started a wild fire and when fire personel gathered on the ridge across from resort the craft landed back on the western ridge just north of the resort and sat and watched the fire being put out. We examined both sites and the western ridge had three deep indentations that had apparently melted the soil into an almost glassy looking substance similar to black glass. There was no brush in this area because it was a fire break and a clearing and it why I beleive we were able to spot the landing site and melted soil. We were told that it was about time to go so my freind and I asked my uncle if we could get on the roof of the chalet to get a good vantage point to scan above the tree tops before we left and he showed us how to get up there and told time was almost up and watch the guide wires supporting the antenna. My freind had an old camera ! that you had to look down to view the object you were shooting and he took it out of it's case and just then I heard a low humming almost a vibration comming from the high western ridge that runs about a mile away rrom the resort.At this point we were about 40-50 feet above ground level and my mother and aunt were just comming out the front door calling for us to come on down to go. As the humming got louder I focused my attention in that direction and saw what appeared to be a structure, like stuts but viewable through its body. I called out to my freind and said "This has got to be it". Ashe looked were I was pointing he said he wasnt seeing anything, But as it got closer it began to fill in and turn a purplish color and filled out into a long cigar shaped craft. We both watched in awe as this object the size of a football field matterialized and just stopped right at eye level about 30-40 feet away and at about 50-60 feet above the ground. The craft hovered about 45 seconds and my freind attempted to spap a picture but tripped over a wire and as he got back up and tried again the craft zipped away at a speed I cannot desribe. Back on the ground everyone that had seen the craft desribed what they saw and my mothers desription gave it a black stripe right down the middle that was not observed from our vantage point on the roof. After this event I questioned my Aunt for more info on her sightings and experences and she told me it had been visiting for years and she had even reported it to the Air Force and after several meetings with them she was told to keep here mouth shut and she was crazy. Well she was not crazy and 33 years later I can still see it like it was yesterday. My friend as stated earlier was so impressed by the experience he made it his lifes passion and ocupation. There were other strange things that happened to me soon after and later in life. The craft appeared to follow us home {Fremont Cal} and I experienced lost time and knowledge of their propulsion systeem and motivations for their visita! tions. I cant explain this knoledge, but I do know that after discusing the propulsion ststem with my uncle {not related to this incident} that worked at California Berkley about the method of propulsion he asked how I could have such knowledge about such far away and cutting edge information. Anyway thats about it in a nutshell and if I could speak to someone with the right forum or willing to explore this deeper I believe that a lot of things can be unlocked.

Blue humming and vibrating sphere in my room

I was awakened by a humming noise coming from the floor in the corner of my bedroom. I couldn't move. I tried to call my father, but could only make a noise through locked jaws. Maybe 5 to 10 seconds went by before I could force a loud enough noise to emit from my mouth that was loud enough for my father to come running down the hall and into my room to see what was going on. I told him the was a blue ball of something that was humming and vibrating and undulating in the corner, but was gone when he busted into my room. He said I was having a nightmare, but I hadn't gone to sleep yet. I sure on this point. After my father went back to his room I tried to go to sleep. After I laid there for maybe a minute after he left. I started feeling like someone was present. There in the corner of my bedroom came the humming and vibrations again. I was so scared, but forced myself to look at it. It was a blue sphere of light that was completely obscure and looked like it was throbing and vibrating and humming. I yelled good and loud for my father again. He came running back into my room only to see nothing when he turned the light on. That's it. That's all that happened, but it did indeed happen. I'll take a polygraph or truth serium or whatever anyone wants me to take, but I was not asleep and this did in fact happen to me. It was around 1962 or 63 and I've never mentioned it as I didn't want anyone to think I am nuts or was exagerating. I DID HAVE THIS HAPPEN AND I SWEAR ON MY MOTHER'S GRAVE AND I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS.......... I SAW IT AND HEARD IT AND IT DID INDEED HAPPEN.
