2 flying objects, merging into one. Heading toward Pacific Ocean.

Started as two "boot" or "L" shaped crafts flying abnormally close together in the same path- no sound or exhaust trail. After following for about 20 seconds, the two crafts merged as one (scared me as I thought they were going to crash) and continued to fly it's original course. Went out of sight seemingly a bit faster than if I were following an airplane with my eyes. Heading west toward the Ocean, and continued as one object until out of viewing range.

The dots moved into a particular line and The top dot seem to have some very faint other dots trailing it I think It was 2-3 dots

So I was in my backyard pool and I was looking up and saw a triangle of dots getting bigger and moving away into more of a line The top dot had some very faint other dots following it I think it was 2 to 3 faint dots. And then I was just staring at it until I went inside and changed and came out and used the StarChart on my iPhone (I didn’t really see much on the StarChart). It was also in its same position when I got back. And then I just went back inside and reported it.

I was out checking for predators around our livestock when I glanced to the south west where I saw solid bright white lights that seemed pretty large. Definitely not aircraft (Air Force veteran) but passenger aircraft lights where present in area, lights seemed to be higher than aircraft flight altitude but we do get a lot of air traffic coming and going from DIA over our area so can’t be sure of altitude. My first thought it was drones that has been in our state news recently but my opinion changed once the lights started to disappear to the west. Rough degrees of travel was from 240 degrees traveling to 270 degrees roughly before fading out. Flight path seemed to be the same for all, with roughly the same spacing in between and was just a continuous stream of them with aircraft traveling opposite direction but close to same flight altitude maybe a hair higher. By time I returned to house to get the phone to get video the last few disappeared fading out! site all roughly in the same area around the 270degree mark.

Cylindrical objects in morning sky

I was driving in Livingston when I saw two cylinder shaped objects in the sky. I first noticed them when the sun was reflecting off them. They were both shiny. At first I thought it was a plane with a glider plane following.

The second object was trailing behind the first object. Suddenly the object that was following the first, glided under the first object. I followed them to try to get a photo but they disappeared when I reached a clear area.

Driving passenger I noticed two white lights next to each other floating in the sky. Didn't move just hovered. I started to record it, it then moved quickly across the sky and stopped again. It was going in the same direction as we were traveling so I was able to watch it. It then disappeared in the sky. It didn't have a shape from what I could see, however my boyfriend and son both saw it as well. So weird!! Kinda creepy…

Saw a large ball of light traveling West to East in Livermore.

A large, bright light was traveling fast from West to East in a smooth trajectory, but seemed to be falling. It had a trail of some kind, such as what you see come out of a jet. There were no lights on it and it seemed to be burning. There was no sound associated with it. My husband and I have seen meteorites and satellites, but nothing this large and bright.

We were afraid that it would land nearby and cause damage of some kind, as it appeared to be under the clouds.

Stepped outside early morning on first break and saw these two objects in the sky

My mom (56 years old at time) was working at Walmart in receiving. She stepped outside for her first break and saw these two objects in the sky. She began taking photos from her iPhone. They were two oval objects that appeared to be glowing from the bottom. They eventually got higher and faded away. We have multiple pictures of the sighting. My mom was (and still isnt) very tech savvy. The pictures were printed from a Facebook ad promoting some type of memory book for the year.

Two craft over Northern California, traveling at a high rate of speed, chasing each other, with no sound.

The first object appeared from the northwest and was flying in a large "S" pattern. The object was approximately 10,000ft in altitude and made no sound. The object was cylinder in shape with lights on each end. This object was traveling at a high rate of speed.

As the craft moved away toward the south continuing its "S" flight path another craft appear from the same direction and appeared to be chasing the first one. The second craft was very large with four lights in a diamond pattern. This aircraft was also very low and moving at a very fast rate of speed.

The most amazing aspect of this sighting was the first craft made no sound and the second craft made a low humming sound that was barely audible. Any objects flying at that speed traditionally make a loud sound trail.

Red Lights/Orbs in formation over downtown Livermore - New Years Eve 2014

Went out to smoke. Saw over downtown (First Street Alehouse area) 5-7 orange/red lights/orbs circling in formation upwards one after another and out of sight towards the South.

I thought they may have been quad copter drones maybe Police or enthusiasts.

The formation was a little tight though and they did disappear out of sight, and I know the radio controlled drones have a limited range. The sky was clear. Stars were visible.

Im writing this report right now because I have just read online this occurred all over California, at approx the same time in multiple locations...

Interesting, to say the least.

They made no noise and once turned off, we couldn’t see them anymore.

Eight pale red or pink circular objects flying in and arrow-like formation.

I saw 8 points of light (each uniform, and similar in size to a large star, but with a steady, pale-red or pink color, flying in an arrow-like formation, as indicated below: . .

I spotted them as I crossed the street by the ZPizza restaurant in the Springtown neighborhood headed east on foot. It was approximately a half-hour after sunset. As I got to the cross walk, I look up and saw them in the sky above the buildings ahead of me; they were traveling in that direction (easterly). I thought I should record them on my iPhone, and looked down momentarily to pull out my phone and bring up the camera app. By the time I did (just a few seconds), all but two of the objects had disappeared, and those two were now headed in a northerly direction much closer to the horizon. They seemed to be moving fast, and I was wondering where the other objects had gone so quickly. There was not enough time to record them (it was a matter of seconds); I just watched them disappear into the distance.

I am not a believer in UFOs, but found this quite unusual. I scoured the papers the next day to see if there was a story of any kind. I finally found your Web site, which contained two similar sightings to mine that same evening in the same neighborhood.

Flying objects over the Livermore Valley

See these every night and hear whirring sound too! Appears to be star like but have seen one fly over, about a thousand feet up. This has been going on since the year 2005. When I first started using my telescope. I started seeing things in the sky all the time. So I flashed them with a flashlight and they have flashed back and seem to know when I'm looking. I hear them all the time, day and night. I started using a laser light and they move very fast, when I find them. The first time I used the laser, one was going away from my direction. I hit it with the laser and it turned so quick and started enlarging back in my direction. So I flashed my flash light, my two blinks, real quick and it started going away. That one that flew over me in the early morning sunrise. Really looked me over, then flew straight toward Orion, which was very visible. I really had so much fear in me when I started but, now I'm so used to them. I saw one in the fifties when I was about 9 or 10, a jet was chasing it and my stepfather, a USAF Sargent was standing next to me. I'm in Awe! They cloak and their speed and turns.

Well had to talk to someone about it because, wife and child don't believe me. Descriptions of all that I have seen, range from small orbs flying through the back yard, one triangular, one huge saucer to star like and sometimes a hazy movement going very fast. I know difference between satellites too! I'm a night person. I love sitting on my stool with my large binoculars on tripod looking up to a very starry night, well for the Bay Area. I have seen so much at night. I just don't have the space to write it all down. I want so much to ask my neighbors if they know whats going on above their houses but, they probably already think I'm crazy with all the flashing[lights]at night around my house from me. I just can't believe that no one saw the Orion ship [it, as I said flew just up over our houses].

I observed a bright object in the sky traveling erratically. 90 seconds

Details. On the night of 14 October 2010 I observed an unusual object in the sky. I have been an amateur astronomer for over 40 years and had setup my 8-inch Newtonian reflector telescope for viewing the night sky. After aligning my telescope with the polar axis, I started to observe the night sky (it was a clear night for viewing). I had already observed the planet Jupiter and the first quarter moon when I decided to train my telescope on the celestial object M-31 (the galaxy in the constellation Andromeda).

As I moved my telescope toward the area of M-31 I noticed a brief flash of light near the star Beta Andromedae. At first, I thought I had caught a glimpse of a meteor, however, a few seconds later the object reappeared near the northeast corner of the “Great Square” of Pegasus. When it reappeared it was moving in a southern direction. I was going to change my assessment that this bright object was probably a satellite, but I then noticed it had a reddish-copper like halo around it. I then noted the time on my watch as 21:25.

Location and Description of Object. At this time of year in northern California, the constellations Andromeda and Pegasus are approximately 45 to 50 degrees above the northeastern horizon. The object itself appeared to be a white star in appearance. The halo was about the same brightness and was the size of a dime (if you held a dime in your hand and fully extended your arm). As I will mention later this object varied in brightness. In astronomical terms it changed from between a magnitude 1.5 down to a magnitude of 4.0. The object also faded away (or disappeared) a total of three times.

Movement and Behavior of Object. As this object moved south, it appeared to be behaving like a satellite. However, the object made a “loop” in the sky. The best way to describe objects movement is imaging drawing a straight line then writing a small letter “L” and then continuing the line for a short distance. The loop would be the size of my thumb when held at arm’s length.

After the object looped it dimmed briefly for a few seconds but then got brighter again. This is when it made sudden move south through Pegasus at high speed and made a another “loop” before stopping and fading from view near the ecliptic just east of Jupiter (this rapid movement occurred in just two to three seconds). After another few seconds, the object reappeared and continued south at the pace of a satellite. But once again, as it neared the star Fomalhaut in the southern hemisphere, it made another loop and dimmed again from view. It would reappear one more time and head south and I would lose the object in the sky glow near the southern horizon. I looked at my watch and it flipped from 21:26 to 21:27. So the length of the event I estimate to be between 60 to 90 seconds.

Conclusion. The only way I can relate the object to anything else is it looked like a moving “ring-type” nebula. As I mentioned before I have an amateur astronomer for over 40 years and have never see anything like this. I you have an explanation to what I saw I would enjoy hearing it. Round ball of flashing lights for three nights, then vanished as I was looking at the light, returned with a beam of light.

I was outside on our deck three nights ago when I first noticed the lights.

It was a round sort of ball of flashing lights. I asked my friends if they were seeing it as well, and they were. The lights stayed in one spot for three nights now, and didn't move at all. At first I assumed it was a satellite, but tonight as I was looking directly at them, they just vanished WAIT, they were gone for maybe ten minutes as i started writing this, but now they're back in the exact same spot as before but there's a light shining down from the bottom of it. A beam of light if you will. I have cold chills telling that actually. The lights just vanished. They flashed from a red to white to sometimes green. The red was very dominant though. I sat outside and looked up at it for like I said three nights without them moving one time. The lights were coming from over a hill so I also ruled that it was a cell tower maybe, but after I tought about that I realized that there was no cell towers of any kind in that direction.

The event took place at roughly 10:15 PM. Me and three other friends where out in a large pitch black field playing "Airsoft" wile standing around I pointed out a blue/white light traveling about north, 20 degrees west at a fairly low altitude. The light was fairly close with absolutely no sound. It suddenly appeared, and was at a speed faster than a private single prop engine plane, probably about 300-320MPH. It traveled for about 4-5 seconds before the light made a pulse and shot straight up 90 degrees at at least 1000MPH. Another minute or so, wile observing the sky, we spotted the same object/light at an extreme altitude. Probably in the uper atmosphere or higher. We watched it travel for about 4 seconds in the opposite direction before vanishing.

Twin cylinder object in broad daylight over California

On the afternoon of January 9th, I stepped outside in the shade to be picked up for a meeting. It was 4:58, and as I waited I watched an airplane prepare to land as it flew overhead. I live on a flight path and as I watched the plane at 2,000 feet traveling west, I caught the glimmer of an object much higher up above the landing plane heading east. The sun was in a position to clearly reflect light from the object. It looked silver with two cylinders attached. There was a dark band between the two cylinders. There was no noise, no vapor trail, and no perturbation of its straight flight path. It traveled from the northwest to southeast at a very high altitude. Because I was in the shadows and the object was in the sunlight, I had a very good view of it. I watched the object for a number of seconds and it was gone in less than a minute. I looked on the web for similar sightings and found a near identical Italian sighting (SanRemo, Italy 9-29-2006, 20:08).

Thus, did anyone see a similar object at approximately the same time?

Standstill White Orb

I’m a 20 y/o university student and I live with my family in a residential area, 5-10 miles from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. The “UFO” I saw was the color of a light bulb and larger than a star or any airplane lights. Originally, I thought it was a reflection in the window, but as I got a closer look from several angles, including outside, it was definitely in the sky. It stayed in relatively the same spot for at least 45 minutes (possibly more, I fell asleep), with slow and subtle movements upwards and side to side. It did not change color, no moving lights, and no beams – just a white glowing orb. It was definitely not an airplane tower, but who’s to say it wasn’t a weather balloon or a new lab experiment.

Bright circular object of rusty orange color crossing sky, then quickly fading

On March 20, 2007, my youngest daughter and I were walking toward the local HS parking lot from the gymnasium, returning home after a school event. The night was remarkably clear and I could see all the stars pretty clearly. There were a number of airplanes flying on the normal approach paths. Sirius and Orion were prominent in the Southern sky. The planes approaching SFO and other Bay Area airports routinely stack up in both a southeast and easterly approach corridor.

My eye caught a very bright orange colored light that was roughly aligned to the southeast approach, but definitely the wrong color for airplane landing lights (of which I see many). The light of this object was very bright, a bright rust red/orange, at least 2 to 3 time the brightness of Sirius but the color of Mars through a telescope (I am a life-long amateur astronomer). I’d watched it for 10 seconds or so and was wondering why it didn’t have any navigation lights because up this point, I was assuming it was a commercial aircraft. I’m quite familiar with aviation. I finally mentioned it to my youngest daughter, that I think that object is a UFO, but really half jokingly, expecting any second to see the red/green navigation lights, a strobe or some indication of normal aircraft appearance. It was certainly Unidentified and Flying (or Orbiting) and it was definitely an Object of some kind. The speed across the sky suggested an aircraft or satellite and it moved silently as far as I could surmise above the noise of the other people. I’m not sure any else noticed and I admit I was too shy to point, and say, "Hey, look a UFO!"

My youngest daughter had dashed off in a different direction to seek my other daughter (about 15 seconds into the observation) because there was still nothing unusual other than the bright steady color. I continued to watch for another 20-30 seconds or so.

About this time I looked down to unbuckle my digital camera to try for a picture, although with the glare of the parking lot and lack of any tripod, I didn’t really hope for much, even at full zoom. However, by this time it faded suddenly as it crossed Orion’s belt over the span of 3-5 seconds. Strangely, satellites usually brighten as they head out of the shadow of the Earth and go into sunlight. This object had the opposite behavior, approaching from deep shadow brightly becoming dim as it moved toward the west.

My daughter rejoined me and I told her that our object just vanished before my eyes. I came home and wrote up and drew what I had just seen. The most remarkable part of the event was that Sirius, the brightest stellar object in the sky, was clearly much more point-like and dimmer than the object, which passed within a few degrees of the star on its way toward Orion, and therefore provided an excellent comparison object. The object seemed initially to have almost a planetary disk appearance, which was not twinkling or point like but more like a circular smudge. As it faded, it became much more point like and finally vanished. I’ve seen satellites "flares," and the color tends to be very white. This object was clearly a different color than any satellites I’ve seen. If I was to speculate it could have been a spacecraft or very slow moving orbital object skipping off the atmosphere. At no time did it move in a way that suggested intelligent control so I can’t say for certain it was anything but "a highly unusual sighting."

I saw a very large flourescent green fireball explode in the sky over the area of the Lawrence Livermore Lab. It exploded three times getting larger each time. Them it swept to the west (parallel to Hwy 580w) and I saw a long red hot tail (which appeared as if millions of small pieces of red all grouped together and emitting from the bright green fire ball)at least four times the size of the fireball which continued to glow and appeared to soar north (north of 580) before dropping out of sight. I see a lot of shooting stars but I was in awe to see this,

I wasn't sure if it was a rocket or meteorite or some sort of vehicle breaking through the stratosphere..it lasted a long time.

I searced the newspapers, but found nothing mentioned regarding it. Though, I'm sure the Lab must have had it in it's radar.

I am a fifty year old female, and have been seeing ufos for years, but never something glowing so brightly.. was it a shooting star VERY close? I'm not so certain.

Strange light in the sky over Livermore CA.

I was walking away from a sports practice with my son and several other people.

We saw the object in the western sky at about 45 degree elevation. It appeared to us to not be that far away.

I called the local airport to see if they had gotten any other reports, but they had not.

The object was exibiting a non ballistic flight pattern. Up, down, left, right but primarily moving from south to north.

It was a bright orange color, not blinking. Even though I know alot about planes and hellicopters, I don't know how I would explain this motion.

I am a bit of a skeptic, I don't usually believe in this sort of stuff. The thing that sealed it for me was the fact that the object changed from bright orange to electric blue for a few seconds then back to orange. It did this several times during its transit of the sky which lasted 2 or 3 min. This color change along with the non ballistic flight really puzzled me. I have no idea what we saw.

Some background: I also saw the same thing in the early summer around 10:00pm one evening. No color change that time, but non ballistic flight. My son also told me he and his friends saw the same object several weeks earlier.

White light flying high over Livermore Valley near Sandia/Lawrence Livermore Lab

This may seem a little mundane.

But I've seen these many times in the night's sky since February of this year(2005). I also want to mention that I live about 3 miles away from Sandia/Lawrence Livermore Lab.

It was only a white light moving across the night sky. The thing that caught my eye, was the fact that it was moving very erratically.

I know how a plane moves. Very predictable. This was darting left, pause, and then right, Over and over again as it was going from west to east across the sky.

I believe this object and all the other's that I've seen are in the stratosphere and or near space. It's hard to tell the size. It all depends how far out they are. If you've ever seen a satillite, it's very close to looking like that.

The difference is, when I was younger in the 1980's, they used to arc very predictably across the sky. These do appear like a dot of light in the heavens, except that these things tac like a boat would if you wanted to turn on the open sea. Left-Right-Left-Right.

The object I saw tonight though was moving so extreme I felt compelled to report it. If you've ever seen any video of how these things move, you know what I'm talking about.

My background: I've been a Machinist for over a decade. I have a 4 year old daughter. I'm just a private citizen whose interested in the paranormal.

As I was sitting in my backyard I was looking at the stars to the east of my position. I noticed what I thougt was one of the planets that has been in the sky lately. I was looking at it for roughly 5 minites tring to figure out which plant it was, it than moved very fast to the south and faded out of view. I tried to reason what it could have been and given the facts, that it was as bright as one of the planets that I've been watching, staying in the same place for at least 5 minites, then taking off at a very high rate of speed there's no queston in my mind that it was a UFO. It was a extremly clear night here on the west coast in northern Californa.I could not make out a shape because of how high it was in the sky. I could only see the very bright white light.

Space battle in the eastern sky?

There is one main light, which at first glance looks like a very bright star. It's in the eastern sky, about 35 degrees above the horizon. But it's darting around very quickly. It appears to be very far away, perhaps in orbit. At times, it apears to be triangular in shape. If you look carefully, many very faint, barely discernable points of light are streaking, swarming near the large object. Looks like a veritable space battle, with the larger object dodging the many smaller objects. After viewing for an hour, the scene has tracked with the stars in the background. Yet, the object would indeed have to be darting extremely fast to be so far away…

I was driving down Lido Lane in Livermore, California, driving northwest. Something caught my eye that at first glance looked like a street lamp from atop one of those long poles. However, when I looked again, I realized it was not attached to any pole, so I looked very closely at this object. It was suspended in the air - not moving. So immediately I began to see if it were a blimp. It was not. It was gigantic. It was a metallic dark blue on the top two thirds of it with black gigantic rectangular picture type windows on it where the narrow part of the rectangle was at the top and the long part was down the sides insetted into the craft a bit. The bottom one-third of it was a silverish-grey color with no markings. The object was shaped similar to a street lamp and tilted down slightly toward the ground. It was about a mile off the ground, but seven miles from my location. It was huge. Everyone on highway 580 must have seen it. I drove my car to an area to so that I could view it better which was about three minutes later, I saw what appeared to be this craft 'shimmer' for a second and disappear right there in mid air. No movement was recorded and no sound was noticed at this great distance. I drove to the nearby airport to see if there were any blimps of that kind in and around that area and viewed none. I drove a distance of seven miles looking for this craft, to no avail.

flying saucers seen near livermore california by driving witness on 680

I was driving home from my girlfriends house and was going over a slight foothill pass near livermore on 680 in california headed north, but had not yet reached pleasonton. As I came down the mountain pass on the other side, I could view the stars as its a great spot to see the sky and hills coming down. I looked and saw what appeared to be two shooting stars come down on an area of the sky ahead of me toward livermore area. The stars split directions and the light was gone.. Further down the hill going approx 65 mph.. I looked out my right hand window of my blazer and saw a circlur dark disk "float" past as if I was looking at the bottom of it.. It all happened so fast it was hard to believe the light in the distance that I saw was the same disk that had "floated" by.. The look was as if I could see the blackness of space and stars and then an "eclipse" of the bottom of this 'disk' metal looking area that was grey looking float by.. I had no time to stop or didint think about doing it.. To verify what I had seen was not a reflection from something inside my car.. I'm highly positive what I saw was a craft of some sort, as I KNOW I saw the shooting stars before the (UFO?), so my consequential sighting MUST relate to the shooting stars.. the craft must have been one and the same thing. and it has the ability to go extremely fast and levitate without any engine.. There were no lights as it floated by.. just the grayness of the bottom of the disk…

I was outside. I saw this weird white light in the sky. It wasn't a star because the stars don't come out for a while. It wasn't an airplane because it was too high. I told my brother and my friend to come outside and look at it. It was slowly moving south. The object had some glowing around it. It made no noise. Then, about 5 minutes later, it shrunk and disapeared without a trace. It could have been a flare, but I don't think it was. I wanted to tape the object, but the picture wouldn't come out.

Bright stationary object momentarily visible in late daytime sky behind drifting cirrus cloud in otherwise clear sky.

While out mountain biking in Morgan Territory my friend and I, both avid sky watchers noticed a small bright object at 45 degrees above the horizon (near celestial equator), due south by southwest from the top of Morgan Territory Road. The sun hadn't set and there was ample daylight. The light was perfectly motionless and appeared brighter than any normal celestial object (including Venus). It was not Venus or a satellite. It was as bright or brighter than Venus at it crescent phase. We didn't have binoculars but after 3 minutes or so, it faded and was lost. Sitting and using a branch as a reference point, no discernable motion was evident. It was first noticed visible through a cloud (cirrus) and would have never been seen except for the momentary interest of the cloud. The cloud moved east, but the object didn't. We were certain it was celestial until it disappeared. I've found no record of any similar object in any of my web searches and I am a amateur astronomer familiar with most bad identifications of "possible UFOs". It was clearly not a planet or any routine aerial phenomenon. It was not a geosynchronous satellite flare because it was too bright - these are reported but never as daylight objects - these are night sky telescope objects. It wasn't an Iridium flare because it was stationary. I've seen those and the international space station in orbit. It seems it could be include possible a very high altitude balloon (but seems that it would have remained visible or would have drifted), or it could be a bright, but previously unknown celestial event (such as a nova) but much shorter lived (gamma ray burst?), or ... some other unknown aerial phenomenon. It would have been unlikely for a casual observer to notice it because of the relative brightness of the sky and small angular extent. It wasn't until I gave a very explicit set of location information (relative to the cloud shape which attracted my attention) that my companion even could see it. His observations were consistent ! with min e.

simple silver disk, moved at amazing speeds

My stepfather was always a skeptic as far as UFO's went, he always figured they were U.S. military craft or meteorlogical phenomenon. One afternoon in the summer of 2002 he called me out to the back porch.

He already had the binoculars out and handed them to me. He pointed to a spot in the sky and said "what do you think that is?"

I looked through the binoculars and saw a silver disk shaped craft maybe 40-50ft in diameter.There was absolutely no sound coming from the craft.

When I took the binoculars away from my eyes I could see the object hovering maybe a half mile off and about 300 ft off the ground. I started to look at it through the binoculars again and in a few moments it disappeared.

At that same moment my stepfather said "where did it go"? I quickly looked around the sky and saw the object 15 miles away over the city of Pleasanton.

My stepfathers response was "we can't have anything that can do that."

The objects dissapeared again and we never saw it again.

My stepfather passed away last year, but at least he got to see a real UFO. He was never the same after that day, and he had started to consider the link between extraterrestrials and the history of the human race.

I loved him and I will miss him and I'm glad we were able to share this.

Pulsating Glowing Sphere

My wife and I were star gazing with my telescope during a campout on our mountain property. I was focusing on Mars when she said "hey look at that star", "it moved". I looked over to the West and saw a very bright star like object fall roughly 1/2 mile to the tree line and go exactly back up to the same spot. I said "did you see that?" my wife said "good, you saw it too!" I put my telescope on it to see the object better. It looked like a yellow orange sphere that pulsated with a bright white light almost like a heart beat. There was a extemely bright band of moving full spectrum rainbow light which encompassed the object and flopped around like a Lazurus sign wave, the "O" shape. After watching for a few minutes we noticed a jet moving towards it from the NorthEast, then we noticed another jet coming from the SouthWest. At this time the object moved straight up about a mile and the jets passed under it. Then another jet passed under coming from the North. Then the object flew further West and it was a much smaller dot in the sky. I then remembered I had a video camera in the camp trailer. I did video tape it but it didn,t show up very well with the digital zoom so I tried focusing thru the eyepiece of the telescope. Due to some more movement by the object and myself shivering from the cold night air I didn't get much good footage, but there is about 1-3 seconds where you can see the image fairly good. Your can definately tell that the object is pulsating in multiple colors. We watched do manuevers from the same distance off and on until 11:30pm (23:50)We had to go inside our trailer to warm up about 1/2 hour of each hour. The manuevers were geometric patterns like squares and triangles and some occasional full circles. About 11:15pm I saw it perform a loop type of manuever and then another bright object came from the South and did a loop and stopped very close to the other one. They then flew futher North West looking like one bright object. I did notice jets going by a few more times (atleast 3 times but only 1 or 2 at a time) during the rest of the sighting.

I hesitated to report this until I read that other people in Colorado saw the same object that night. I mean we hardly believe it and we saw it.

I saw a upside down black pyramid shaped UFO in 1982 and reported on this site.

A star-like object inscribed rectangles in the sky and then vanished!.

I have avoided telling this for fear of ridicule. Even my wife is not aware. If it ever gets out, I will be an outcast! But I know what I saw.

At about 9PM on the 7th of July, 1998 while watching TV, I heard what sounded like a distant explosion. Seemed to have come from the Southeast (toward my back-yard). Thinking it might be some illicit fireworks left over from the 4th (fireworks are VERBOTEN in California), I stepped out into the back yard to watch. I saw some 4 or 5 more explosions (rockets) with the traditional red-white-blue streamers coming down. After the 4th or 5th rocket there was a long pause. I didn't know if that was the last rocket or not so I just waited.

While I was waiting I glanced around the sky. It was very clear and the stars were bright. Looking up at about a 45 degree angle to the North, I saw a particularly bright star which I glanced at for a second or two and moved on to other stars. But before it was out of my field of view, I caught a movement and I glanced back.

Thinking it might be a satellite, I continued to watch as it slowly moved toward the south.

But, After 15 or 20 seconds it made a sharp 90 degree turn! Then at about 30 to 45 seconds more another 90 degree turn! As I watched, it inscribed a perfect rectangle. It made almost 2 complete trips in this rectangular pattern while I watched. I estimated it took about 2 minutes to complete a rectangular trip, and made approximately two of these trips while I watched. Then there was a split second when it streaked off at about a 45 degree angle which led away from the rectangle it had been making. In about 1/10th of a second the light just went out. That was the last I saw of it.

I went Wente Winery in Livermore CA and I saw Tommy and Dicky Smothers. I can't recall or find the date, but it was summer, maybe 9 p.m., in the 1990's, (Note, date above is not correct. would take forever to click back to 1990's & I don't know the date.) likely August or September. I saw a UFO while watching the Smothers Brothers on stage in the Wente yard. And Tom Smothers saw it too. He pointed right at it and said "did you see", but Dicky was still doing the act and Tom had to pick up his part and said nothing more about the ring of lights that had just zipped past on my right, his left. A guy at the table in front of us also saw it and pointed. It wasn’t just me. It was a partial ring of colored lights. maybe a third or less of an apparent very large ring. There was nothing else visible. It somehow caught my attention, and I saw the colored lights for only a few seconds before it moved away very rapidly and disappeared at incredible speed. The lights were red, blue and maybe green. I remember most a large red light closest to me. It was a dark night except for the stage lighting. When the UFO(?) started to move, it was gone in an instant.

I'm not a crackpot. I'm a successful businessman, CFO of the last 3 companies I worked for and with a Top Secret Security Clearance on the B-2 bomber program when it was still a Black Project.

3 people clearly see large saucer shaped object 1/2 mile away

We were traveling South on N. Livermore Ave heading towards Portola Avenue. I was in the passengers seat and spotted a saucer shaped object, about 1/2 mile away and 1/2 mile up in the sky.

It was stationary. It was unobstructed. Clear as could be. Silver in color with many lights circling around the middle. It made no noise.

We pulled over, got out of the car and stared at it. I would say it was roughly 50 yards long and 20 yards high. The colors seemed to be unfamiliar.

After just sitting in one place for 4 minutes it moved, at an angle, about 1 mile away, in 1/2 a second. Still no noise. It moved about 3 more times, faster than anything I have ever seen, even to this day. Finally it sped away and was out of sight in 1 second.

After it left someone said to not say a word, that we should drive back home and each write down what we saw. SO, we did. And without communicating a word regarding what we saw, we each wrote down the exact same thing.

We were never scared and it didn't appear to notice us. It was clearly something from somewhere else.
