While observing Mars and Spica I observed a glowing white orb approaching from the South West. The object wa traveling faster than an orbiting sattelite. It then stopped and began to ascend until I could no longer see it. I am famaliar with aircraft and am sure it was no airplane or helicopter. I am also sure it was no meteorite.

I would like to know if anyone else saw what I did.
