It was a clear night but the object was emitting fog and mist along with projecting blue lights. It was half a mile high in the sky.

Driving back from work I noticed a "foggy star" at first and it was strange because it was a clear night with all stars and Jupiter and moon visible. I parked car near York Stables and climbed out of my seat leaning on the roof. The object showed blue lights and started moving across Zenith and zigzagged few times confusing me as I was expecting it to already pass the car like an aircraft would. It seemed as it was stuck on a loop

But then it got lower and I quickly exited the car and started recording it. When I looked at my phone camera I noticed even brighter blue and other color lights that this object was emitting in addition to continued mist/fog around it. It disappeared instantly moving Northeast. I was standing in a clear field and there was nobody around. There was absolutely no sound except for the wind.

Bright bluish-white orb seen for several seconds in sky, then disappears suddenly in a cloudless blue sky.

While driving southbound on E 1100 Road, south of E Hunter Rd in Kensington, KS, heading towards Agra, KS, a very bright blue-white round orb was seen in the southern sky moving from west to east. It was thought to be a plane reflecting the bright setting sun, but it then quickly faded away completely, leaving no trace. This was after about 5 seconds of observing the object. It was thought for a bit to be seeing a very wispy black or gray cloud in the same spot where the orb object had just disappeared from, also dissipating nearly immediately. This was generally a cloudless blue sky on a very hot and sunny early evening. The passenger of the vehicle stated seeing two flashes of long bright lines travelling the other direction, but that was unobserved by the driver of the vehicle and cannot be accurately described for the purposes of this report.

Bright yellow lights in a changing formation

Witnessed several bright yellow lights changing shape in a formation over the horizon in the western sky mostly a circle type of formation and then an oval . At one point the objects joined into one large mass, we (myself and 3 family members) all witnessed this. After roughly 30-40 minutes the objects started to disappear slowly and went very dim as if they were going farther away. Shortly after they were gone we witnessed what sounded like a helicopter headed in that general direction and about 20 minutes after that a low flying jet flew toward us from the general direction of the sighting as if it was being investigated. I myself am a major skeptic but after this I am left very intrigued and left with allot of unanswered questions about what we saw.

Three lights Dancing in the Sky circular objects

As I stepped outside at 8:30 p.m. 20000, I looked around the night sky and I saw not one but three dancing lights was not one sitting still all moved up and down left and right made circles irregular patterns all the same light it looked as if the objects were shining a light down to the ground all three.

Cloud cover was thin clouds I took the best guess of me they're at twenty-six hundred feet with a half mile to 1 mile to my location.

This may be corny but I start to believe in UFOs because this has been going on for 4 years.

Regular occurrence.

Single file line of close-together evenly-spaced bright blue balls of lights moving smoothly across sky (W to E) & fading into horizon.

A line of 30-40 lights moving smoothly across the sky from west to east in single formation, evenly spaced but close together. Lights seemed slightly higher than a plane would fly and were very bright, probably yellow-green to blueish in color. The line took up the entire arc of the sky. The lights faded away one by one as they reached the horizon. There was no sound.

At around 8:47 pm tonight I noticed 4 perfectly aligned stars. They were to the west of Venus. Curious as to what they were, stars or planets, I finished putting out the trash, continued to stare at them and went inside to look online about them. Finding nothing, I took my camera out to try to photograph them. At 8:50 or 8:51 I was back out and there they were, but immediately began to lightly hover, the bottom two most notably. Then all four seemingly distant stars started to move at perfectly measured intervals from each other. The bottom two performed a strange half circular manoeuvre with each other and then quickly followed - perfectly straight and completely quiet- the first two objects. Their pace was powerful and seemed to have a forcefulness about them that you do not sense when watching airplanes/jets. They had no blinking lights.

Object seen in kensington solid slow pulsing light twinkie shaped.

i got up from sleep to go to the bathroom afterwards i was looking out the third floor window at the woods in back of the house looking for nocturnal animals. i saw a blink out of the corner of my right eye and immediately thought it was a lightning bug because it was in the tree line. Then there was a much larger blink that had the shape of a twinkie. It pulsed about like a light on the top of a tower. Not rapid like collision lights on a jet. There was a low cloud cover and whatever this was was slightly in the clouds, low. We live in the flight path for Reagan nat airport so i am used to seeing commercial aircraft. Usually in fog the aircraft turn on their landing lights. I think i have seen a plane where the collision avoidance lights strobed together, although what i saw moved slow and pulsed slowly and the whole object was the same brightness. There was no noise and it was low probably 600 feet AGL. No navigation lights either. also the path that it was traveling i should have seen it sooner b/c it would have gone in front of me which it just sort of started it pulse run to my right.

An orange fireball moved in the sky near Washington, D.C., turned direction and "burned out".

At first I thought it was a plane/helicopter as there is a lot of air traffic in this area. Then I realized no blinking lights, just a bright, solid orange color. It was moving steadily, but then a small blue light broke off and burned out. Then the orange "fireball" appeared to slow down to an almost stop. It moved in a slightly different direction, then disappeared.

The craft moved quickly then hovered, then went out of sight in seconds.

I was traveling in the back seat of a minivan west bound on rt. 84 near rt.150, looking to the north when I realized that there was a weird flying craft in the sky. It had about four white lights and one blue light.

The lights were all round. The blue light blinked as the craft moved downward at a steep angle to the south east with quick movement in less than one second.

When it stopped it looked a bit bigger and without any sound.

It hovered about two seconds then it went out of sight.

Object was observed through a window and caught my eye when the sun reflected off it. It was moving just above the tree tops moving about 35 to 40 mph. I mean maybe 10ft above and just tooling along. Someone else must of seen it. The front was a large cone shape silver mettalic in color with a tube connecting another cone that faced the opposite of the front. It was about the size of a large bus maybe bigger. I know I'm not crazy, but whatever it is was very quite and was heading east toward the ocean. Never had a chance to grab my camera. Not sure if anyone in the area seen it but going to watch the news just in case.

White-Yellowish light too large to be a plane hanging in the sky for a minute or so.

I was driving home on Route 108 North in Kensington, NH. As I was approaching the local elementary school, toward the North, I could see a large light sort of hovering in the sky. At first, I thought it could be the moon, but I very quickly realized that it was some sort of aircraft hanging in the sky. One thing was clear: the light was too large to be a plane.

I couldn’t keep my eyes off the light, as it was so bright it could be seen through patches of trees. The light was round and had a yellowish tint to it. I continued to track the light until I lost sight of it, almost as if it had left my horizon. The experience lasted about a minute or so.

Briefly after, I tried to call my father. When I connected to his phone, I heard muffled background noise. I listened as long as I could bear before I was too freaked out to continue. I called my father again, and when I connected, he claimed that I had not gone through to his phone. I’m not sure if there was some type of electrical interference, but I have never had any type of call quite like that.

My hometown, Exeter, NH, is known for some of its encounters with UFO’s. The area supposedly has a high propensity due to its proximity with the Pease Air Force Base and the Seabrook Power Plant. All that I can say was that I saw some type of unnatural light it thoroughly freaked me out.

I am a senior at Saint Anselm College.

My husband and I were in the hot tub outside and was looking at the big dipper and in side the center of it was a light going r to l and circular and down and up and crazy formation. then took up brightening the light then dulling the light. and disappeared. About a minute after that we saw a beautiful shooting star shooting from the right of the big dipper to the left lowering to the earth. from east to west. that's all Thank you and now I believe I never believed before but we do now.

chevron of lights resembling small v-formation of geese; silent; observation lasted approx 1 minute

Clear, cold starry night. Object appeared over trees coming at me from the east, raesembling in shape, size, speed and apparent altitude a v-formation of geese, with I estimate four lights on each side, each light considerably larger/brighter than an average star. The object appeared at about 30 degrees above the horizon, approached to nearly overhead while slowly turning -- apparently banking -- left, or south. As it did so the lights slowly faded and disappeared. There is often air traffic in the sky -- we are in the approach patterns for Baltimore-Washington International and Reagan National airports -- but there were no other aircraft in the sky at the time that I recall. Unlike aircraft this object displayed no blinking navigation lights and made no sound whatsoever. Difficult to estimate altitude, but I would guess about 800 feet or more. At no time was anything other than the lights visible. I am an experienced observer, a military journalist; I am familiar with al! l kinds of aircraft. This report was delayed by skepticism, but it defies conventional explanation.

We saw a light moving soundlessly in an erratic pattern and at varying speeds.

My wife and I were walking our dog at about 9:10 p.m. on Nov. 26, about 1/2 an hour earlier than normal but on the route I normally follow. I'm usually alone on the walk and frequently notice a satellite, about 20 degrees above the horizon, crossing east to west.

Both of us saw a spot of light near the path of the satellite I normally see, but insead of moving east to west it was moving in what seemed a straight line from the southeast toward the northwest.

We observed this flight for about 10 seconds and then saw the light make a near u-turn to head back toward the southeast. At this time it's movement became herky-jerky, seeming almost to stop and then speed up.

The light then altered direction moving almost due east and behind a loud bank. Just before disappearing, I thought the single point of light split becoming two lights heading in the same path. My wife did not see this. My eyes are better than my wife's but the two lights were visible only briefly.

No sound was associated with the event.

I was walking between 10:30-11:00pm cause their was nothing ot do all the kids are on vacation,And I was walking back from a school and then I saw this glowing thing that looked like a diamond kind of shooting star...only it wasnt shooting. So I took off my headphones and started to look at it...kinda spooked me out a first cause it wasnt making a noise and it was flying pretty low...Then I walked onto another street and then it started coming closer going towards the center of town, (Berlin) then as it went that direction I saw that it was sort of a cigar shaped object with no blinking lights just solid red and white lights...I was like forget it walked torwards my house and then I noticed another one comming from the same direction...I saw this person in a car and I asked them to stop and they were like "What?" it was a girl so she was kinda freaked out I was stopping her at 10:30 11:00 at night and I'm like look at that and she goes "its a plane" and I'm like "NO!its something else I just saw another one." and she was like "What are you smoking?" and then i watched it go towards the same direction that was it. The second one had the same description 1) At first it looked like a glowing Diamond sort of thing 2)It had Solid red and white lights 3) they were kinda cigar shaped 4) both flying very low about what a helicopter would 5)they werent making a sound. As for the lady who i stoped she just asked to use my cell phone to call her freind that lived in the area. thats it for my story. It's just weird cause noone knows..someone might...but I shure dont know what that was tonight.

While my husband & I were sitting on the deck there was suddenly a very bright flash, as if someone took a flash picture. At the same time was looking at a large, submarine shaped (though it could have been tilted) object about 150 feet above our heads. It flashed and then disappeared, no sound. There is no explanation for this object of light...no car lights, flashlights, anything could have made this bright, brgight flash. There is no answer to the shape & size of the object seen. Though we are on the flight path to National, there was no noise and the object was so low and large and disappeared so suddenly that there was no way it was a plane. I think it may have left a little trail though that may have been just the movement.

Stationary flashing colors of light behind mist appearing in night sky right above highway very large!

I am not 100% sure about the dates but it was winter in 1996 and I was visiting my then boyfriend in Silver Springs Maryland.

It was night time and a very clear and cold night. I was driving towards the Washington Beltway 495 heading home to my house with my boyfriend traveling to Pennsylvania.

Before we reached the beltway some 2 miles away in the distance my boyfriend and I saw an enormous flash in the sky. Almost like lightning but hovering by the horizon. I said "did you see that? It was like lightning!" He said he did see it.

I didn't think too much about it and we finally arrived on the beltway. We were coming up on the Mormon Temple in Kensington. The massive temple with the white spires and trumpeter and I noticed the lights were off (which I never have seen that before as the lights are always on) I thought to myself that was the flash we saw!

I said to my boyfriend, "Thats what that flash was the Temple lights ble..." I didnt even finish my sentance when right above us there were these fast flashing lights that flashed red, blue, green, yellow, purple, just poof poof poof poof poof...

It was stationary, no sound that I could tell but we were in the car, but being that it was so close if it were a helicopter or plane it would've been close enough to hear it even on the highway. There was a mist or something in front of whatever it was so we could not make out an outline of a craft, but whatever it was it was huge!

My boyfriend (a skeptic in all senses of the word) was gaping at it with his mouth open and he stated "Now that IS WIERD!"

Mostly all of the cars in front of me put on their brakes (not stopping totally mind you its a very busy highway) but you could tell everyone noticed. It was so incredibly strange. I dont know how long it lasted as I could not stop to find out since I was on the highway.

I did see these types of lights once more by my house in Pennsylvania about a year later. It was Very late and I noticed off towards my left side the same exact lights flashing red, blue, yellow, green, purple, just over and over very quickly and again you could not see a craft and it was stationary and there was this weird mist in front of it. There was a person in front of me that saw the craft as well and he slammed on his gas and took off... and I quickly followed suit!!! It was very unnerving and eerie.

I am being 100% honest here and wasnt exactly sure about reporting it...but I really wanted to tell my story. The weird thing is ... my (now husband) refuses to even admit that he saw anything and also swears he said nothing that night. Which I think scares me even more than seeing the lights at all being that we talked about it for an hour or so afterwards. Strange.

Two red lights in formation buzz across tree tops then shoot straight up into the sky - It was increadible!

I was walking outside from my sisters garage late dusk (getting dark) when I seen two (2) red lights to my left in formation, one in front of the other heading north accross the tree tops in a heavely wooded area which was only about 1 mile from where I was standing.

I first thought it was a military aircraft but knew it couldn't because I was in the USAF and seen them all!!! I noticed there was no sound at all and realized something was strange - I felt paralyzed!

As both light's raced across the tree tops at about 200 mph, my sister asked "what are you looking at" then a second later, the red light in front shot straight up into the sky while the second light followed - A manuver I'll never forget. It was incredible!

Reflective oval seen hovering over Washington D.C.

The object was noticed approaching sundown as it flashed reflected sunlight brilliantly like a mirror. It didn't flash again but appeared to be a reflective, metallic, egg shaped object hovering to the south over Washington D.C. or Chevy Chase, MD. It first appeared similar to a blimp, but had no markings, tail surfaces, flaps, openings, windows, lights, rivets or other surface details. It moved silently and left no contrail.

Kensington is at a higher elevation than Washington but it was difficult to judge the size, distance and height of the object. It appeared to be at about 20 degrees elevation from the horizon and disappeared at perhaps 60 degrees from horizon.

The object moved very slowly to the west parallel to the ground for several minutes, and after angling upwards 45 or 50 degrees it began to ascend rapidly and in 15 or 20 seconds it became a tiny point of light in the dark blue sky before disappearing. Its upward movement was of continuous and rapid acceleration at several times the speed of a conventional aircraft. As it moved the object's apparent shape changed from egg-like to a flattish ellipsoid, more specifically a symmetrical convex lenticular cross section top-to-bottom, a slightly elongated ellipse along it length, the narrower part of which was its rear.

The object was also seen by my wife and neighbors.

Note: This is an amended version of a report submitted to NICAP by my now deceased father. I recall hearing there were many other witnesses and hope to prompt a response from one.
