2 orbs flew directly over car sunroof from about 30' and came into full view in windshield.

It was about 10:40pm, my girlfriend and I were driving on Highway 54 West towards an on-ramp to Highway 5 North right next to the ocean. This on-ramp is slightly elevated and as we go up it, I feel a light on my face and glance upwards through my sunroof and see a bright light shining through. I thought it might be a helicopter because San Diego has many helicopters—but this was silent and very close.

I immediately tell my girlfriend in the passenger seat to look straight up with me. My face leaned towards the windshield and I was able to get a full view;

Perhaps 30 feet above our car, getting closer and heading towards the direction we were driving, and pulling ahead in a smooth arc as I slowed down for the on-ramp. This orb was the size of a basketball and made of pure white/yellow light. It was very bright, had no shape to it and did not look like any sort of mechanical device or drone.

Directly behind, possibly 10 feet, another orb seemed to chase it in a graceful arc. Both flew in perfect unison to each other.

While the first orb was pure light, the one behind it was much darker. I thought it might be a drone but I could make out it was a perfect sphere—maybe metal or some material, but it looked nearly black in the night sky. There was a red light on the right side of it, which blinked fast in perfect rhythm.

It was shining a scanning like motion, a red lateral laser of some kind, onto the back of the white orb that it seemed to be “chasing”. It was an extremely quick horizontal scanning movement from left to right.

We watched both orbs with fantastic clarity—they seemed to gracefully fly in this arc sweeping motion towards the right a little bit and flew directly into the mist of the night above the ocean, and disappeared from sight.

Twin lights thru the trees, that twinkled and dimmed, disappeared and came back, for at least 20 min.

Went to bed, and we have no curtains on our windows. Looked out the window from my bed and two bright lights were in the sky, just thru the trees. At first I thought it might be drones. But they stayed pretty much in the same spot. They were twinkling, dimming and sometimes disappeared, but came back on.

The lights were bright, the light seemed to shine down on the yard almost. We live in an isolated area with no lights close to use, so I don't have an explanation.

I did get up to try and take a picture but I was nervous and when the iphone turned it's flash on, I got scared and just turned the phone off. I hope this helped.

Three lights floating in the sky.

I was driving home, going North on the I-805. In the sky ahead I saw 3 lights, 2 bright ones and 1 not as bright, maybe further or just smaller than the other 2. I first noticed the 2 bright lights then the smaller one, it may have detached from the other 2 or have been there just didn't notice it at first. The 2 brighter lights didn't move and the smaller light did, but then they all remained mostly stationary.

I questioned if they were planes but then I saw what I knew was a plane, and the plane just flew past the lights, on what seemed like a normal route to the San Diego airport. I kept my eye on them since the moment I noticed until I arrived home. Due to a big tree in the way I don't know what happened to them.

I had a sighting on 12-10-14 in National City, California. It was a perfect triangle covered with lights across the whole bottom. It was hovering and so close to the ground that I felt as though I could shake hands with the pilot. It took off north at amazing speed.

Later I realized it reminded me of the scene in close encounters of the third kind, where the ship was directly overhead, expect for the shape and the many lights.

I am resending this as I did not state that the triangle was only about 100 feet overhead and that this event happened on Palm Ave.

One 9/14/15 someone was on Palm Ave about one mile west and saw the triangle.

Please add Palm Avenue to my sighting so the other person who had a sighting on the same street will know.

The event really blew my mind. It was also seen on 2/1/15 in Encinitas.

I will be going to Palm Ave a little more often, with a camera this time.

Orange light, oval in shape.

Driving south-bound on 805 freeway, we saw an oval-shaped, orange colored lighted object standing stationary over the 16 street bridge/overpass. It hovered about 250 feet above the bridge. It was difficult to listen for any sound it may have emitted. We took the next exit ramp to get back north-bound on the 805 to try and film it, but the phone camera wasn't equipped to handle the distance and low light. As we got closer to the bridge where it hovered, it began to ascend straight up (perpendicular to the bridge) and then it stopped to change direction to ~45 degrees up, and westwardly. It turned from an orange glow to a bright red the farther it went. Then it disappeared.

Fireball looking object floated over national city then dissapeared

About 15 minutes ago i saw a bright light coming towards me as i laid on my sofa. I could see it through my window as i was seing television.

I went outside and looked at the light. It looked as if a ballon was on fire, it was some sort of fire ball floating object.

I stared at it as it floated by me.

It lost size and brightness as it appeared to float higher then desappeared into the sky, it just dimmed until it dissapeared.

3 red lights over the mountains in Eastern San Diego

Just after midnight on new years 2010. I stepped outside and looking east towards the mountains three red lights shaped into a triangle are visible. At first i thought they were flares or fireworks but the lights were stationary. And the three lights remain still for 10 minutes then slowly began to rise for 5-8 minutes and one after another they began to disappear into the night.

Three bright lights in the early morning San Diego sky.

On November 20th, 2008 at approximately 6:00 am. I observed three bright lights in the clear western sky of San Diego, Ca. The two lights were at 30 degrees and roughly a horizontal configuration and at first seemed similar in brightness as Venus in the early evening sky. A third light of equal brightness maintained position roughly 5 degrees higher at an 11-o’clock position during the entire observation. As I drove west toward the lights, I observed the lights maintain a distance from one another that at first blush the lower two could have been lights positioned on the wing tips of a commercial airliner. As the lights moved closer together, I assumed it was an airliner, even though I could not see a wing structure or fuselage; it seemed to be moving away. The only major discrepancy was that the lights brightness and size remained the same. Just a few seconds after the lights nearly merged, they separated, moving quickly apart in an upward/downward arc, positioning themselves in a vertical configuration. As I continued west, I lost sight of the objects, as area I entered was predominately covered in a low-lying fog. At the moment I last saw the objects they were continuing to move apart and separate as individual entities.

Unidentified sky objects. Not and airplane. Not a helicopter. Not a flare. Not a balloon.

Red Orbs in San Deigo!

I tried submitting this report yesterday, but for some reason your server would disconnect when I would submit. Anyway, I got a call at 20:18 on this particular day by a very good friend of mine. He said, "Watch out with the UFO's!" he said this to me in Spanish. He described to me that he saw two red glowing orbs stuck together, making semi circles in the air. Yesterday I spoke to him more about it and to give me the details so I could report it here. He said that about 20:00 he was outside his house and he saw something catch his eye. He was facing east at this point. He decided to use the binoculars to see if he could spot what it was that he saw. The light that caught his eye seemed to have moved behind a passing cloud, so he directed his view to the end of the cloud. After looking for it to come out the other end, there was nothing. For a while he just decided to stay and keep watching the sky when he looked up and saw what appeared to be a red circle doing semi circles in the air. It was big or low enough to see with the naked eye. When using the binoculars, he could see that it was actually two orbs stuck together. He said that it wasn't light, like a flashlight, but more like internal, luminescent light, sort of "glowy". One other thing he said was that after while of observing this, he started to panic for some reason, he said he actually panicked and did not know what to do, or who to tell. He lost the object after a while when he was trying to refocus the binoculars. Al i can say about this is that i can't believe I missed it.

strange lights over san diego

I looked up in the sky at about 30 degrees above the ground at heading 030 or so and saw what i thought was a jet (I live near a airport) the light got brighter and then dimmer as if a jet was in the turn but i noticed no running lights. then the object seemed to vanish for a second the six bright white lights apeared forming a shape simular to the points on a star of david. The object was very far away because i was walking and the oreintation did not seem to change at all. I heard no sounds and it was cloudy and about to rain so all i saw was the lights. I was a Intelligence specialist in the navy and work at a airport so im very reliable as a witness.

i was at the kitchen ,,then i heard a strange sound,.sounded like an UFO hovering on the top of our roof,.n all of a sudden,. all of our cabinet smashed open and some of the used frying oil on the counter started boiling,.,,and when the sound disappeard,, the boiling had stoped and all the door cabinet was left open.way too different sound to be an any military aircraft.,sounded like those lazer swords in the star wars movie,.,…
