Lights that rose from tree line

I was letting my dogs out before bed and while watching them I noticed 2 bright lights over the tree line of the woods behind my house. I watched them slowly separate out from one another and then another smaller one that changed from silver to red appeared kind of in the middle of where the other two were. The silver and red light almost appeared to be much closer then the other two in the sky were but I couldn’t exactly tell. I watched it stay in place and then slowly rise up like the other two lights except it stayed in place afterwards. I went inside after watching for awhile and it was still in the sky when I went inside.

I have a video that corresponds to NUFORC Sighting 180141

At around 6:10 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2024 CST, I was taking a dusk walk under clear skies in suburban Little Rock. I noticed a peculiar sight emerging from trees at heading of approximately 270 degrees: a hazy white light moving steadily at a low angular velocity from the west to the south at a low elevation of perhaps 30 degrees at its maximum. There was no sound from the object. What made the sighting peculiar was a ring of light that preceded the main orb-like light as it transited the southwestern sky. The sight was so unfamiliar it took me a second to gather my wits and make a video recording of it, which I will attach to the report. It nicely complements the video of NUFORC Sighting 180141. The NUFORC Note on that sighting refers to SpaceX launching a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral with 23 Starlink satellites; however, the heading of my sighting, starting around due west at 270 degrees, is not consistent with a Cape Canaveral launch. The heading to Cape Canaveral from Little Rock is 122°25'.

5 Lights Moving Rapidly and Changing Direction

I was a pilot flying to Little Rock AR at 32,000ft. My first officer had told me earlier that he had been seeing strange “dancing” lights to the West on every night flight beginning at 9PM Eastern time.

At about 11:45 Eastern time, we began seeing multiple lights due West at extreme altitudes. They appeared to be tracking South at extreme speeds and altitudes in excess of 100,000ft.

I estimated the speed to be somewhere beyond Mach 5.0, but it is difficult to estimate accurately given the unknown range. Visibility was unlimited and I estimated the objects to be around 300 miles to the West.

Two of the objects appeared to be following each other, greatly varying their speed and course. They appeared to be able to stop and change direction, sometimes abruptly switching from a Southerly track to a North Easterly track.

There were 5 objects in total, with up to 4 seen at one time. One of the objects was at a much higher altitude, or much closer range. They varied in brightness up to the point of being the brightest objects in the sky for brief periods. This continued until we arrived in Little Rock.

These objects are appearing with extreme regularity, beginning at 9PM Eastern, and are a widely discussed phenomenon on the radios as of the last few months.

Observed an anomaly of lights in the sky

It appeared fixed in the black sky for 15 seconds. I was driving and couldn’t pull j er due to traffic. I rounded a bend and it appeared in a different area of the sky at the same elevation. It’s possible it was in the same location and just appeared to move due to orientation of the road but I don’t think so. Then it simply disappeared

I witnessed a small white dot-- star or satellite sized-- in the vicinity of the Pleaides constellation early morning October 21, 2022. The object was moving back and forth and sometimes in a circle with an erratic movement. I was watching the Orionid meteor shower, lying on my back on the roof of our condo and witnessed this object for about 30 minutes. The object stayed in the same general vicinity and was still visible when I went back inside my condo. I started to video the object but there was no context for the video and the video would have just been a light moving erratically. There seemed to possibly be other faint light or lights associated and there may have been a dark area around the brighter light but this wasn't definitive. I would estimate this object was at a very high altitude or outside the atmosphere.

I drove underneath them and could see them behind me in my rear view also.

Craft seen in the sky and video taped.

My wife and I were playing with our son in our front yard when I noticed a metallic object in the sky. It seemed to dissappear and reappear a few seconds later. So I decided to film the object with my phone.ibwas able to capture the craft on video. After 3:15 seconds of recording it the craft flew away at a high rate of speed. Flying Giant Red Ball of Light.

Walking home last night from my job in the SOMA district, the moon was big, bright and beautiful. Zipping back and forth past the moonscape appeared what I believe was a helicopter. It seemed to be following this gigantic bright red ball of light.

At first sight, I thought it was a planet, like Venus, or even a traffic light. Oddly enough, the ball of light’s starting position was to the west side of the moon and gradually moved to the east side and then back again.

Maybe there’s an obvious and logical explanation for this phenomenon, but for the life of me, I could not think of one.

Me and my friend were swimming at night. My friend looked over at the radio tower across the street. He saw what he thought was an airplane but then took a closer look and saw what was flying mid-level in the shape of a triangle. It was silent and had white and red lights. I looked at it and we started freaking out. It rose up a little bit and then flew at a semi-slow speed and it dropped a white ball of light. It was so low that we could see the details and we know it wasn't a plane. After that it flew right above the trees and disappeared. Then, we saw it again in the distance and it was flying slow and then 10 seconds or less later it was higher in the sky than an airplane would be.

cone-shaped craft fell silently to the ground 5/28/2018

Little Rock, AR My friends and I have been watching this cone or triangular shaped craft for over a month. For quite a while it seemed to be an unfamiliar constellation...very high in the sky. Over the days it has become more and more visible.

Tonight 5/28/2018, at approx 8:25 it was very low in the sky when it suddenly began to drop straight to the ground without making a sound.

I happened to be looking at it when this took place. I was completely speechless and unable to call out to my friends.

When it was higher it seemed more Christmas tree shaped wih several big lights or craft at each corner and in between points.

Tonight as it fell the shape was completely visible. Cone shaped top then straight sides with numerous lights or craft.

There was complete silence as it fell. It seemed to be extremely close to us. As it fell past the trees I could no longer see it.

I had no was of getting to it so I immediately googled for similar sightings. I expect to hear something on the news tonight.

I can't describe my feelings. Whatever it was has been one of the most amazing, overwhelming things that I've witnessed in my life.

I hope to see more recent sightings here. the sightings in Mena AR and Fort Smith sound very similar. CC N

Saw large dark triangular object near ground in front and above me 3 minutes, 3 lights underneath, hovered, no sound.

I was in my yard and it was dark, I saw something in back of tree line moving slowing, coming from the North. It came to a stop in a clear area close to where I was, had 3 large lights underneath, I believe. It hovered approximately 3 minutes and then made a slight angle and went a different direction. It seemed stopped at the edge of our property. Very strange. It was not a 'perfect' triangle, the back edge of the triangle seemed to have some indentations (it was hard to see as it was dark outside). It then flew East more quickly down the edge of our property and turned to right (South). I watched it behind tall pine and oak trees in our 20 acres of land. It then seemed to turn East and I could see no longer. It did not make any noise.

I have never seen anything like it in my life. It seemed quite large and near the top of pine trees on our property. I don't think it was military vehicle.

I was traveling southbound on Interstate 530, near Exit 3 when I saw three unknown objects traveling from East to West. They looked like giant sparklers and they had an orange color.

They were really close to each other. I thought they were meteors falling, but they were at a slight incline. Two of the three disappeared. Just a few seconds later I lost sight, due to a tree line.

Large white spiraling light traveling at incredible speed

I was driving west on Lindsey Rd. at 1:01 A.M. after getting off of work. In the curve of the road, right around the FedEx facility, I saw something out my driver's side window, at about 45 degrees south/southwest. It was a fairly large, super-intense white light, circular in shape, moving at an incredible speed, coming from the northwest and moving southeast. When people count by saying "1 Mississippi", this would have been more like "1 M" in duration. The best way I can describe the object is, it looked like a rotating, flat spiral of white light. In the dimmer arms of the spiral I may have detected a very faint yellow. Picture the rotating spiral of Hitchcock's 'Vertigo'.

The location I saw this object in is immediately south of Little Rock Airport (Clinton Airport). I checked the flight schedules when I got home, and while departures were not listed, the last arrival was at least a couple of hours before my sighting. This is not an airport that has much late night airplane activity. I also looked up types of commercial aircraft lights when I got home, but didn't see anything similar to what I had seen. I do know that Little Rock Air Force Base does practice maneuvers using Little Rock Airport runways and airspace, but they are a C-130 base. The object I saw was at least as fast as a jet fighter, if not faster. Obviously LRAFB could have jets from other places on occasion, but I don't know. If this object came from the airport, it seems it would have been departing based on its direction of travel.

I don't rule out any possibility. I just would really like to know what I saw. I have never in my life experienced or seen anything like that. I have traveled this road for the past eight years.

It was a circle shape with the colors of white and orange/reddish outlining it. There was showering lights falling downwards to the earth those falling lights were white it looked as if multiple white fireworks shooting it the sky but coming down from the object not going up it made long streaking lights falling from it and fading away.

By the time my husband saw it he saw the object and then it made an erupt noise and disappeared. I've never been real sure if I believe in alien ufo's but that may be because I've never seen anything that could be one. Huge moon shaped object appears during or before and during power outage

On July 5th, the power went out, and I just happened to look out at the sky. There were no lights as far as I could see, no street lights either.

Saw what I thought was the moon but it seemed 3 to four times larger than normal and had a much more yellow tint. Thought it was odd. Went out 20 or so minutes later and what I thought had been the moon had changed position drastically and in my perspective was now behind the tree line. This really confused me.

About 30 minutes later I looked for the object again and it was completely gone. The object looked like a full moon and upon checking i found it was only a quarter moon on the 5th and i have never seen the moon so large or to change place in the sky so quickly and drastically and then disappear.

I checked several more times that night and it never re appeared. I also wonder if whatever it was caused the power outage for there were no storms or even any rain that night here.

My son and I were in the backyard starting up the grill when I noticed 2 cigar shaped items moving from East to West. They did not appear to have wings and both were really close to each other.

Driving West on 630 threw Little Rock, Ar, we observed 3 white lights flashing to the north. It was moving parallel with us. It looked to be hundreds of yards long, a few thousand feet up in the air. We were traveling at 70 mph, and the lights stayed in formation as it moved to the west. At the location where IS 630 ends at IS 430 the object was no longer to the north, but due west in front of us. It made no noise, and seemed to be a triangle that covered a large area in the sky.

two huge amber, orange orbs flew over my house.

Ever night at 8:00 I go out in my back to take my dog out.. I am a stargazier, so I looked up, as I do every night. I saw to the southwest of me, two huge glowing amber, orange orbs. The orbs were very low, not much higher than trees. I was so shocked. The orbs were the same size, the same width apart. They were flying together like the were on the back of a craft. I could not see a craft. The orbs went behind a tree and I ran to the end of my yard, and watched the orbs gain speed and height, until they were out if sight. This sighting could not be mistaken for any manmade craft that we have. Their was no sound at all. The orbs did not shine any light on the trees. One other weird thing. Every dog in the neighborhood was going crazy. My dog was running around in circles, completely out of control. Later that night I found out that other people reported seeing the orbs also. Their were several planes and hhelocopers. Chasing after the orbs.

We saw a star that was moving in many different directions for a long period of time.

On June 1rst at about 10 pm I was outside smoking when I looked up at the stars and noticed that one was moving. It was part of the constilation "the big dipper." The very tail end of it.

I called out several friends to see it and they all saw it as well. One of my friends called your agency and was told to send in a report through this website.

The object was moving in many different directions. It would all of a sudden take off and go very quickly in one direction and then all of a sudden stop. It also move in zig zag motions, in circles and in figure 8 motions.

We watched it for a good long while. It was still moving when we came in.

looking to the west from Littlerock we saw what looked like a red/orange mylar baloon floating about 6 feet off the ground in the distance. The object became brighter and slowley gained elevation. At a very slow speed the the object turned south and disappeared only to re appear a short time later still emmiting a long orange trail and second cont trail.

I’m not even sure if it was a UFO.

I was looking out at the western sky and I thought I saw a shooting star, because it was going so fast. Then the object suddenly stopped and spun around in a circle about 3 times and quickly flew off in the direction that it came.

This object seemed fairly close. I would say about 500-1000 ft. easy. It seemed to be getting bigger as it circled around.

a see through triangle that dissapeared into thin air.

it was around 630am me and my mother were on my way to skool as for i had armed drill practice in the morning. we were driving on an open road ahead of us in the sky about 2-3 miles away we saw a light we thought of it as a plain or helicopter but then it stopped out of nowhere. im guessing it turned sideways becuase we saw the tip of it as a very bright rectangle it was completly white. behind it it left a trail of that was like a tringle but i was able to se throught the conected triangle trail. the triangle was like a see throw jello as it was connected to the rectangle small part of the ship but still see through we kept looking at it. i tried to record it on my phone but it was to far away to show up on my video lens. it was easily rising 1000ft up and down and seemed like gravity was no problem for this device. as we aproached a full 130 seconds of the viewing me and my mom both witnissed it just dissapear into thin air. i noticed it didnt fly away bec! uase it was like a ghost going invisible i slowly saw it dissapear. the only explanation i might have is that edwards afb that is like 10 miles from my city has struck it gold in technology. but i truly believe that it wasnt from this planet becuase we do not have the technology to make an object just dissapear

On Sunday night, October 14,2007, I was driving home after visiting a friend near Perryville (where I have seen numerous craft before) and was headed south on 430, about to merge onto 630 when I saw a small green light speedily heading towards the ground over what looked like the Walnut Valley area of W. Little Rock. Before disappearing into the trees (or disappearing completely?)the green light broke into approximately 4 pieces. At arms length, this craft or light would have been about as big (or as thick) as a #2 pencil and about 4 inches long. At first siting, it was located approx. 50-75 feet above the ground and when it disappeared was just at the tree-line.

I saw a bright light in the evening sky that emitted approximately 6 other smaller lights and they all left at high speed.

At approximately 7:45 PM (19:45 hrs.) on the afternoon of August 31st, 2007 my wife and I walked out into our back yard. As we were standing there I looked up into the sky and saw a rather bright glowing object in the sky. I at first thought it was one of the planets, but realized it was still too early and not yet dark enough to see any stars. I told my wife I thought it was something reflecting light from the sun but it was stationary and rather large. I told her I thought maybe it might be the International Space station but I frankly do not know if that is ever visible to the naked eye. I just sensed it was unusual so I went into the house to retrieve a pair of binoculars. I returned to the backyard and looked up at the object and could see then what looked like red glowing lights around the bright center circular object. We could also see a jetliner moving through the sky and it too was reflecting some light. My wife looked at the object through the binoculars also but did not try to adjust the lenses to her eyes and did not see the detail I did. She said she could only see that it was a bright object. This is when it got very interesting. I got the binoculars back from her and as I was looking at object I saw approximately six smaller bright looking circular lights move away from the brighter object we had first seen. They moved away slowly from the center object at first and paused in a pattern around it. They then suddenly took off at high speed and simply disappeared from view. The center glowing object disappeared also. As I was telling my wife what I was seeing she looked back only to see the original object was gone and the sky was now empty in the area. I can’t say these objects were craft but I saw what I just described and have no logical explanation for it.

White object moving with the wind

This sighting was on 8/31/07 from near the Pulaski County line in SW Little Rock. The time was 2:24 PM CDT, the sky was unusually clear, and the wind was from the NNE. I had an unobstructed view of the sky. Looking to the NNE, I saw something approaching in the sky, about 20 degrees above the horizon, that I thought was a piece of paper blowing in the wind. It was bright white. I noticed what I thought was a jet and contrail behind it in the far distance when I first saw it, but could not resolve it. It did not tumble, except once or twice it dimmed as if it might be tumbling. I thought it might be a bird, but it was clearly not acting like a bird, in that it was not dimming and brightening regularly like a bird would do flapping its wings. It seemed to be simply blowing in the wind. Fortunately, I had a camera, and took some pictures of it. The photos do not clear up what it is, however. It moved overhead and I lost it in the sun. I only saw it for a couple of minutes. It appeared to be far up, at least 2000 feet. I also took a photo of a jet with the same camera settings for comparison.

On this particular evening, I was sitting on my stoop with one of my cats in my lap. My neck started getting stiff so I was looking up and down trying to relieve the stiffness. When I looked up I saw an orange object moving across the sky. It was definitely NOT an airplane. It did not have the after effect (chalk looking streak)you normally see after a jet.

There was no sound accompaning this object. It moved through the sky in a constant motion. When my view was obstructed by some trees I moved into an open area to try to get a better look at it sand this is when I lost site of it. My name is ((name deleted)), I live in Little Rock AR.


On Oct.22nd 2005 at approximately 9:10 pm (CDT), I was out on our back patio smoking a cigarette and looking up at the sky about 45 degrees from the horizon in a west north westerly direction.

Right were I was looking, I noticed that a couple of stars blinked on and off. That immediately caught my attention.

A second later I’m starting to make out a "V" shape in the sky. I’m first thinking it must be geese, but in a fraction of a second, I realized I’m looking at an incredible object of great size, almost as big as a commercial airliner, almost right on top of me by then.

I also am very aware that there is no sound whatsoever, not even the movement of air.

The object was "Y"- shaped, traveling at great speed in an east south easterly direction. I noticed on the bottom of this object, there were round concave or perhaps bulging circles. I can only estimate the number but i would say approximately 12 of these circles were laid out very symmetrically along the Y.

This object had no lights or no self luminescence. The only way I seen this object is because it was only approximately 150 feet off the ground and the street lights reflecting from its great size allowed me to see these for only 4 seconds at the most, but those 4 sec. have left an impression on me that I'll always remember.

After it came over, our two dogs and both neighbors dogs were barking like crazy. I then ran into the house to get my 3 children. I was so shook up, I was babbling, trying to explain to them what I had I just seen.

I feel really fortunate to have witnessed this phenomenon. Had I not been where I was and looking up during those 4 seconds I would have never seen this great object. Like I said earlier there was no sound to alert me to look up. I was just fortunate.

Well, I'm 16, and I was with my brothers who are in their 20s while they were visiting some old college friends.......we were at a house outside in the backyard...they were all talking, blah blah, i'm the only one sort of left out so i'm looking around. I looked up and saw a triangle in the sky...with very large very round yellow lights at each corner, pretty low, with a low hum as it moved across the sky. I just assumed it was one of those wierd military planes and i said "i hope thats an airplane" to a girl next to me but she didn't really pay attention...i was pretty tired..it wasn't till later that i realized that was kind of strange....

Large intensely bright object low in shy some distance away

My girl friend and I noticed what looked like a bright star low in the shy to the west of west Little Rock around 8:30 PM on 3/14/04. It was too far away to see a shape but it was very bright. We could see what looked like a red light manbe once every 5 minutes or so. The light was eratic in movement but generally moved to the North over an hour until we lost sight of it above the trees to the north west of our house. It was a very clear night and the stars were quite bright, but not nearly as bright as the object. We called my girl friends father who lives 9.5 miles SSE of our location and it was clearly visable to them also. It could have easily been the sun (which had set) reflecting off an object drifting to the north, but it was very bright and low in the sky. I don't believe it was a regular aircraft because of the time duration and it looked very large relitive to the distance it was away. I took a few digital pictures but I did not have a tripod but I can send them if you wish.

Triangler lights spotted 15 miles south of Little Rock

Just 15-30 min south of Little Rock before getting onto Interstate 530, I notice 3 bright lights in the form of a triangle with 3 smallers one inside. It was about 3 full tree length high in the air.

I thought it was a jet airliner flying into Little Rock but it was too far from the airport. Also, it couldn't be a jet or plane, because it was flying low and really slow to just be gliding.

I know there were more ppl who notice these lights, everyones break lights lit up when the triangler lights appeared. Ppl slowed down to watch this wierd event.

about 2:45 am saturday morning, my boss and I were standing outside and talking. we saw a blue flash in the eastern sky that was similar to lightning, but it was blue and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. we both looked in that direction and about halfway in between the moon and the big dipper there was a squiggly line that was yellow and red and orange. it almost looked like something that was moving in an erradic direction had exploded. the light dissapated after a few moments and were the lights were there appeared to be smoke, which also soon dissapated and we saw nothing after that. we thought that maybe a plane or the chinese rocket may have exploded, but dont know what it is that we saw. did anybody else see this?

Circular white object seen over the Arkansas River

We were eating lunch at the Arkansas River, near Murry Lock and Dam, when we saw a white circular object in the sky. We first thought it might be a bird but the movement was not like a bird. It was not moving in a linear fashion and it had no apparant direction either. We were looking between the 10:00 and 11:00 o'clock position.

The sighting lasted only a few seconds and then the object disapeared.

Soon after the sighting, we saw a plane fly over which convinced us what we saw was not an airplane.

Me and Family watched object hover over downtown. Gone a minute later.

Me and my family were coming home one night and saw what looked like a string of lights that curved around on one side. We stopped the car, and watched it for a period of time. The object seemed to hover about the skyline of Little Rock. At first I thought it was the top of a building, but being an amateur Ufologist I looked more closely. I realized that this couldn't have been a builing cause it was higher than the tallest building in Little Rock. My little brother thought it was a blimp, but it wasn't even moving at at all. And since when do blimps have a string of lights arounf them??? We left after a minute or 2 and went home. I came back a minute later considering I only lived a couple blocks away, from where we saw it. And it was gone. If it was a blimp, then I would surely have seen it in the horizon somewhere else, butit was gone.

A "star" looking object traeling across the sky, dissapearing behind a tree, then coming back out brighter then fading to blackness.

My famiily and I were camping that weekend on Petit Jean Mountain (in Ark.),and I love the topic of UFOs, so I thought I'd watch the stars. Since I live in Little Rock, the city lights block out most of the stars. Anyway, Me and my brother were watching the stars when we see an object, more like a star, traveling across the sky. I know it wasn't a meteor, because I commonly watch for those. I also knew it wasn't a satelitte, because they havesome sort of blinking to them. It looked like a star going across the sky. I kept my eye on it until it went behind a tree. I didn't se it come out the other side, so I thought it was wierd. A few minutes later, I see this BRIGHT light (like 50 stars put together) come back the opposite direction from behind the same tree. I saw it and shined my flash light at it and it became dimmer and dimmer until it was the same "star" I had seen earlier traveling across the sky. I shined my light at it again, and it faded into nothingness. I guess it became as black as the night sky. It wasn't a helicopter, because there was no noise, or a plane for the same reason. It just traveled across the sky in a straiht line. a white light.

We cannot be certain what it was the witness observed, but it seems reminiscent of an orbitting object. The fact that it dimmed is characteristic of a satellite as it "flies" into the shadow of the Earth, and is no longer illuminated by sunlight. There are several very large objects in orbit that have a very bright reflection albedo, e.g. Mir, the Space Shuttle, and the I.S.S.. Also, the Iridium satellites can cause some of what the witness describes. However, we are not certain. PD

I first noticed one object moving from NE to SE. The object was visible at about 45 degrees in the NE sky. It moved silently at a uniform speed with no change in intensity. As it reached the 90 degree point I noticed there were actually 3 objects or one large object forming an isosceles triangle. The object(s)slowly faded out in the SE sky at about 45 degrees above the horizon.

Myself and my friend went outside at 10:50 pm to walk the dogs. I always look at the stars, I am an amateur astronomer and have had a keen interest in that subject for some time. As I looked to the Norheast, I saw what I believed to be a satellite moving to the Southeast. I pointed this out to my companion. As the object past over head at 90 degrees I saw there were actually three objects flying in formation, or one large object. The person with me was able to see two of the three points of light before they faded in the Southeast. The space between the triangle points was very large. I estimate you could place 3 full moons within that area. Movement of the object(s) was very fluid, no sound, the points of light making up the triangle remained fixed, not increasing or decreasing in distance. I observed no stars being blacked out as the object(s)passed over. Distance above the earth was very difficuly to determine other than to say they appeared to be in low earth orbit.

noticed a large triangle type craft hovering over a shopping center parking lot near some apartments in the early mourning hours in little rock, arkansas.

it was just past midnight, we where running out to taco bell because they are they only thing open that late. we where heading down west markham just east of shakelford, my goelfriend glenda was driving. as we where heading west i noticed what i thought was aircraft landing lights. you know how when a plane aproches straight at you they look like headlights in the sky, anyway as we continued to drive it seemed these lights where stationary, again i figured this was a plane coming in and it must be coming straight at us giving the illusion of not moving. what bothered me was the lights seemed so low and bright. right after you cross shaklelford approximatly 1/4 mile there is a small shopping center, service merchandise, office depot, and the like. well as we got to the beginning of the parking lot i realize these lights are just hanging there in the sky. a yell at glenda to slow down so i can see and she does just a little. now its a little hard to discribe the scene but let me try, just behind this center there is a large hill with apartments built above it, these are aprox 4 or 5 story units. as we are driving by i realize this thing does not have 2 lights but three white lights, one on each corner and a red "pulsing" light in the center. it just hung there making absolutly no sound. it was real huge, probably 150, 200 feet in the air, it seemed to take up a big section of the parking lot. glenda refused to stop, first of all she does not believe in ufos at all and did not even want to look at it. as we continued down west markham to bowman it just sat there. we then turned south on bowman and it was still there. as we went south i believe i saw it rise then lost it. when we headed back that direction to home (1/2 hour later) there was no sign of it. i never heard any reports on the news and i was suprised know one else saw it so i just forgot about it. i listen to jeff rense regularly and after hearing you again i decided to report it to you. this is not the only sighting i have ever h! ad but i never knew who to tell about them. every time i have talked about these things my "friends" think i am nuts. thanks for listening

I was at my friends house and we were leaving to go to my house. The moment we had started to get into his car I noticed something blocking out the stars to the Northwest at about 500 feet. The triangle had a plasma like glow at each of its corner kinda bronze in color. Along its sides it had what appeared to be either running lights or small ports that were lit. It slowly moved to the East without making any noise almost like it was a boat drifting on water. We hurriedly got into the car and drove to my house and talked a while about what we had seen. I've yet to see one again but I cannot forget it!

A small triangle craft flew over me and then flew off into a field and looked like it landed in this field.

I got off work at about 11:30 PM Central time and was driving down the interstate. I live in Arkansas and traffic at the time of night is virtually non-existent. I happened to glance up at the horizon and saw 3 lights. I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me because it looked like the object was hovering over the interstate. I sped up from about 65 mph to 75 mph and realized that indeed the object was hovering, well not exactly hovering because it kept up with me. I got to the point that it was directly overhead of me, about lined up with the tree line. Then it sped up and curved off into a field and begin to sink lower and lower until it was concealed by the trees. The object was in the shape of a triangel with lights at all three points. At the tip of the triangle there was a red light and then 2 white lights on both sides of the base. I was able to see its shape once it had moved on to the field and it was flat. A flat triangular object. This shocked me. I reported it to the sheriffs office and I probably should have reported it to the air traffic controller but didn't think about it until later. I also saw several other triangular looking objects in the sky but I wasn't sure if these were the same type of craft because they were furthur in the distant and looked to be a lot bigger than the first. The first was very small and very, very close to the ground. The others were higher up and looked to be much larger but the same shape. Thanks

The discussion at the dinner table was about the metiour shower of the previous night. I saw 25 of them. I drive after midnight Mon. thru Fri.and I was waiting for these nights to view the Leonids. After dinner my wife,43, my daughter, 10, and I,41, went out on our backyard deck at 19:50 central time to try to see at least one. We were looking east,the skies were completely clear. We could see planes very high in the sky. Our view to the open sky was about 55'. suddenly in the south section of our view a round craft with large square windows or lights glided in a northen direction, in some sort of mist. It lasted 15 seconds. We all agree it was no more than 300-500 yards from us no sound! The mist and lights put out a light pinkish glow.

I suddendly realized someone else needed to see this (iffor nothing else, for me -peace of mind thatI saw what I saw) I called to my wife, she couldn't hear me so I ran into the housecalling her and standing at the door fearingit would leave and no one else would see itit did start moving again before my wifeput something on her feet and got out to the front porch, but she had her opportunity to see the object in full motion just as Ihad seen it early. Woman was awakened by barking dogs in the early morning hours. She observed two "falling stars," which turned into "dome lights." They moved further away from the observer, then they appeared to move closer. They appeared to remain in paired formation. They appeared capable of moving very fast.

Triangular arrangements of lights appearing to begin to land on freeway, miltary-ish cars mobilze around it

First of all, the documentary that is out there about Belgium sightings in 1991 - the depictions on that show are exactly what I saw.

I was driving home from work from Little Rock to conway in normal evening traffic. It was dark. I was driving north on a 4 lane hwy with a large grass median in between and up ahead of me there appeared to be a 747 (my impression) coming towards me about to land on the freeway. What I saw was a triangular arrangement of lights covering the expanse of the freeway slowly floating down towards the road, about half a mile ahead. My impression was this was a landing aircraft with its nose in the air, coming directly towards me. As it got closer it moved off to the side of the road and as I crossed the Arkansas river, it had stopped over the dam to my right and was just sitting there. All I could see was three bright lights that weren't really illuminating anything. About this time, all these cars around me lit up with these strange red lights in their dashboards - they didn't go round and round like a normal emergency light, they went side to side, were all red, and were i! n MANY cars ( don't know an exact number ) coming the other way and even driving right next to me, in front of me and behind me. They all sped off the freeway on the dam exit towards where this thing was floating, probably ten cars in total. Before the red lights turned on, on these cars, I had slowed down and rolled the windows down and couldn't hear a thing coming from whatever this thing was.

I never heard a word about it from anyone, not in the news or television. Years later I was watching a Discover channel UFO special about events in Belgium in 1989-1991 and there it was, exactly what I saw. Granted, I never saw a distinct outline but if they said all this happened the night I saw what I saw, I would say, "I saw that too".

Never have seen anything like it before...or since.

My dad and I were on our way home from watching a movie in Little Rock. It was dark, and the stars were bright. We were driving on Hwy 10 (Cantrell Rd) and were coming up on our turn. And, then we saw it.

It had a circular shape, and there were three lights on the bottom that pointed down (the primary colors) moving in some sort of a pattern. Around the edge of it there were lights that moved counter to the pattern and direction of the big lights. All it did was hover above the house at the intersection of Hwy 10 and Ferndale Cutoff Rd. It continued to hover for about 5 seconds as we slowed to a stop.

Our stopping must have startled it, as it then stopped the colored lights pattern and very quickly took off. It took off and was going faster than my dad's 1978 Cadillac Coup Deville could muster. He told me to buckle my seat belt as he buried the needle until it was no longer visible.

And then it stopped. It stopped so amazingly accurate and sudden that we couldn't do anything but shoot past where it had stopped and was hovering. We turned around and were now headed back towards Little Rock. It flew and flew and we all but lost sight of it until when it changed its path and flew upwards at a swooping 45° angle and was gone.

We drove home in silence. That was 30 years ago. My dad and I have talked about that experience one time only since. By the way...that house had been demolished or something as it's now longer there.

This is not something I take lightly.

It has been some time since the sighting.It has change my life and the way I look at things.Not many ears have heard this so here it goes.First of all I come from an educated background and don't usually write about this type thing.This story has two parts,I was only able to fit the first part of this story in after the second sighting.I was sitting on the bank of the Arkansas river,when i noticed an object about 150yards from me.It was moving down the river,about 40 feet above the river it had bright lights all over it.The strangest part of it was there was no sound,none.I thought what is that? It moved at a steady pase,maybe 70mph.I thought that this was strange but went back to the pavillion.It was getting late and my sisters and I were going home from the church cookout.We did not have anything to drink.I got in the back and my sisters in front.As we talked I leaned over the front so I could here themwhen I noticed an object in the sky moving to the ground.It was spherical in shape and had a silver color,very smooth.It looked like it was going to land,I pointed to it and my sisters then noticed.As we got closer,about 100yards it slowly moved up in the sky and stopped.It was then about 80 feet in the sky and hovering.My sisters at this time are screaming.I told Diane to stop the car and that I was getting out when they grabbed my and said no way.At this point we are stopped and it is still hovering above us to the right.To get a better look without getting out I leaned back in the seat and looked straight up through the back glass.I got a real good look as the object was moving over us very slowly.It was real close,could have hit it with a rock.It had white,red,blue and a mix of colors underneath,and the lights were firing after each other in a certain pattern.It had designs underneath and I noticed then it was not round but had some slight corners.The object moved over the car and started to go higher,NO SOUND.The craft made no sound at all,it was 80feet above us and climbing and their was no sound! at all, other than screams from my sisters.It slowly made its way up towards a ridge and climbed over it and out of sight.This thing was in no hurry,and it seemed as if it didn't want to leave the area we first saw it.Anyway thats it,thanks for listening.Backgrounds of witnesses:Both of my sisters are nurses and I am a store manager now.Lets put it this way I haven't brought this subject up in 15 years to them.We just don't talk about it.I have been wanting to get this off my chest for some time now.Thank you.

Bright intense light awoke us at 2:00 am in Little Rock; 1980

This happened quite awhile ago... my girlfriend and I were awakened by an extremely birght light in our bedroom. It was about 2 am. There was no sound, the weather was calm and clear. It was strange because we both woke up at the same time. The light was coming from above the house. It was like a tungston light, not moving and not varying in intensity. Just incredibly bright. After about 10 seconds or so, it was off. There was no aircraft noise or helicopter sounds.

The next morning I called the Little Rock police to see if their was any activity in our neighborhood, They said it was quiet and nothing had been reported. I also called the utilites to see if a transfomer had blown or something. Again, nothing unusual and nothing reported. It was just strange. We didn't feel abducted or anything... just woke up to this bright,bright light. ((name deleted))

It was obviously extraterrestrial, because it was in "CLOAKING MODE" as well as hovering in 1979.

My girlfriend an I went to Murray Park in Little Rock, Ar. summer of 1979. What I thought was a small boat coming from the direction of the dam just off 430 about a distance of 1/2 to 1 mile away. But the closer it got to us I noticed how close it was to the river bank wall. When I told her that it was no way that this was humanly possible to be that close to the river wall. When it became real close, the lights were not moving with the waves, but also would have been impossible, because large rocks extends at least 12-15 feet from the bank out to the river. My girlfriend was so afraid she begged for us to leave, but I told her that what I was experiencing that I would never see this again, an I haven't. I've realized recently that the alien ship was in cloaking mode except for the lights. It also had to be hovering because their wasn't any sound, an that impossible, because of the jetty. This the 1st time I've ever spoken publicly about since 1979, plus I probably would have scrutinized considering that UFO are now just been shared with the American public. My sister told she witnessed a shiny orb that came out of the river, hit the bridge, an bounced to the otherside. I think it was something about that the hydroelectric dam had something they were interested in.
