8 of my co-workers and I where in the parking lot at quitting time Standing around talking when one of us noticed 7 lights streaking across the sky. The lights were traveling faster than any plane I've ever seen fly and it only appeared for about 10 seconds before none of us seen them any longer.

Basketball sized craft spotted at night in Cadiz KY

In the eastern sky, 3 stationary blinking lights from white to red, 5 times faster than the lightening bugs. No sound.

One accelerates upward, disappears. The other two exhibit drastic turns and moves for a moment and then start downward at a fast clip.

They stay perfectly aligned side-by-side at a 45 degree angle all thru this, making me think they were a larger craft with 2 sets of lights.

When they reach the level of the house top across the road, one splits off and soars upward and disappears.

The other hovers about 20 ft above the street and I can see that it is a ball-shaped craft.

It stays in place with the white and red lights alternating, as I watch it for almost 45 seconds and then it soars upward towards its original place in the eastern sky, then disappears.

Not the first time I've seen them in that exact place, and there is usually a variety of sizes and shapes there.

I saw this object thru my binoculars outside the house as well as inside thru bedroom window back bedroom and also on our back porch

Object gets super bright like fire then fades out like it disappears then left side appears a red opposite side appears a yellow like object looks like it has a weird round oval shape like over the top of it.

Have not seen it move as of yet i first saw it at about 6:10 this evening.

Orange lights one object

My stepson and I were drIving home after cat fishing at Lake Barkley in Cadiz, KY. As we approached US 68/80 bypass, we observed two orange lights moving at a slow pace. I pulled over as he video taped the object move. It appeared to be one single object with two lights, but it would seem mind boggling because it would make the object very large. My step son estimated it was an acre long. The object moved behind trees and then vanished quickly in the distance. The video quality is poor because he taped it on a cell phone and there is no contrast.

blinking lights, the object was too large to be an aircraft. And also did not move at all!

The object , in color, was blinking red, blue, white. Seemed that it was shaped in a straight line. Definatly too big to be an aircraft. Does not move, was holding still in one place. That is two reasons why we believe it was not an aircraft . Also, i have never saw it there any other night. - in addition i have only seen something like this one other time, at the same address, but it was a bright green light, i did not report that sighting!

UFO 12/16/06 Cadiz Ohio , 7am .Hunting trip

On 12/16 at around 7am I was looking in the sky and noticed a bright object off in the distance .With a slight comet looking tailend .It left a smoke cloud as it wentleft and right in the sky.I then heard a hunting buddy come out the door and I said look at that dude.What is that ?It then stopped and seemed to hover motionless but still in motion .It then got large and bright .And seemed to disappear into the sky.It left a perfect cloud looking circle .But,no more comet tail .3 others at our camp seen the bright object but didn't get to see what me and the other guy did.

Heard today they say it was a sattelite launch .This was in Southern Ohio. CADIZ OHIO.Off Lamborn road . This obeject was amazing and freaky at the same time .This object was not really high in the sky when it reached the area in which I was.Near the top of a hay field.It stopped I could almost see details but about the object.UFO Thats what it was . Hope there freindly .

I just had to tell someone .Every laughs .But I saw something amazing I don't care what they say it was but I'm now a 100% beleaver .

Real UFO sited but denied (missile launch ,lol) NOT!!

Just wanted to say very disappointed . Reported a UFO that occurred 12/16/06 in Ohio ,you state it was a missle lauch . What are you covering up ? It was craft way to low in sky, missles dont stop .Dont turn into portholes in the sky . Vanish and reappear . They dont stop rotate before your eyes , emit smoke cloud so it can't be seen (CAMO).I saw windows, I saw the smoke rolling out of this craft as it rotated . How if it was a missle could I see windows . You deny whats ligit why ? Look at other reports on that day same area. I don't get it. Still ticks me off to this day .

Round very bright object that appeared in a instant. Very high in the sky then moved to the south.

Was just watching the sunset and looking at the scirus clouds when it appared at the same altitude as the clouds and just appeared from seemingly no where. It proceded to move from north to south at a fairly fast rate. Much faster than a plane would appear to at the same distance/altitude. After a few secounds it seemed to make a right climbing turn and quickly faded out. The object was very bright and much larger than a comercial plane much like light on a polished metal object. note the sun was setting but I was observing from the opposite side as the sun so it was not a reflection.

i belived it was going fast to cover the distance that it did. it was no airplane!!

i happened to look out the window around 8:45 pm. on the 14 of sept. 01. when isaw what i thought was a star. but i realized it was too big to be a star. it seemed to be in one place, then it started to move. i called for my mother to hurry. to come and see. by the time she came into my room it had reversed it's self and started to go in the other direction. it went behind a tree, and slowly dimmed out. my mother saw a red light on it, that was not blinking. i didn't see that.

I witnessed what seems to me as a very unusual craft flying over my small town ohio residence.

I was coming in from work when I noticed a white light globe off in the distance over my house. As I got closer to my home the globe started moving very quickly across the sky. It would move east then stop on a dime and move west, stop again and go straight up and east as if it was nothing. I pulled in my drive way and the white light globe lowered itself but was about 3 miles away from me and it hoovered again and the white light turned red. It stood there for a few seconds then started west and the red light began flashing really really fast like a strobe light and it just vanished. I live outside of town with few light and I could hear dogs all over town barking soon as the light vanished all the dogs stopped barking. Two days ago at about the same time I was watching tv when my entire house started shaking very faintly though enough that my candles in the window seal where vibrating off the window. I am a ((deleted)) officer and have 4 years of college as ((law enforcement)) Major and am a very respected person in my community. Its a small rural area and something of this nature is not discussed. Soon as the light vanished I ran inside grabbed my camcorder and drove to the top of the hill where you can see for miles but the light never came back. I'll be waiting for it tomorrow.

We saw a silver brushed sillhoutte about the size of a person floating about 1-2 ft above the ground with no features of any sort.

This statement is made to the best of my memory. It's about an incident that several friends and myself experienced when we were kids around the age of 11 - maybe 1962?. We lived in the Mojave Desert in a little town called Cadiz, California. This little town was a railroad living community where Santa Fe employees and their families resided. Santa Fe provided homes, water, and electricity. Most homes were cement type dwellings and a few corrugated metal garages were also built. The Santa Fe Depot and living community was approximately 1 mile West of our area, and Chambless was around 3 miles away located adjacent to Route 66. It was a great place to live.

People from both communities consisted of many races; Mexicans, Navajo, Hopi and Apache, Blacks and White people. Some workers were seasonal or transients while others remained on permanent status. I guess you would have considered us permanent. Those in the 1st to 8th grade attended Amboy School around 17 miles away and rode in a bus to school. We had quite a few kids living in the surrounding area that attended Amboy school. This above these grades would go to junior high and high school in Needles CA.

Often we would gather and play various games, cowboys and Indians, dodge ball, kick ball, and others, but on this particular night when we saw what we saw, I think we were playing Mexican Ring or Kick the can. I believe the moon was full because I seem to remember the darkness and light and shadows and the "thing" was partially lit by the moonlight because it was floating about 1 foot off the ground beside a salt tree near a fuel storage shed that was circular built from corrugated metal. Many years later I realized the best way to describe what the "thing" looks is a 500yrd Echo target used by USMC for marksmanship training. It's shape was close to the photo and had a brushed silver metallic look – not shinny. It may have been about 2/3 the size of a home entry door or a real person, width was a little less than a door. It did not move or make noise, it just floated in the air. I don't recall any distinguishing marks, just a dull silver look and of course not flat as this photo.

The building layout on the PDF may be a little off but I hope it gives a good perspective for my explanation.

We were playing between the bathrooms and showers, red area surrounding the pink area,. I think the game was either Mexican ring or kick the can, tag games. It was getting dark, mom came out and told us to call it a night.

As a group we always walked our two friends (oldest and younger brother) home after playing since their house was the furthest from the group of homes (blue line to foreman's). We were aware of a dog that sometimes got loose and bit people, he usually hung out in the area marked - we kept an eye out for him that evening. As a group we walked towards the fence and then along the fence to the foreman's house. I’m not sure who it was, but someone screamed "black dog," we all ran and somehow formed a single file and ran as fast as we could. The next day we realized it was actually some buried pieces of railroad ties that protected a gas or water line. The older brother was first, the younger second and I was 3rd and the rest were behind me. We were all glancing back and forth while running to see if the black dog was going to introduce himself, that's when I ran into the younger brother. I realized the younger brother had run into the older brother, of course it was! my turn and the others ran into me. The older brother moved quickly and had already taken many strides in the opposite direction. The younger brother was next and on his older brothers tail moving faster than I had ever seen him run, it was then when I saw what they were running from. I to ran in their direction but not as fast as they did. I recall I was curious but not scared.

I caught up with them inside and we went towards moms front door (red arrow). The others as I recall followed us but did not see a thing, they thought the back dog had gotten loose and ran away. At mom's house we explained what we had seen. Mom gave both brothers a pinch of salt to calm them down - not sure it worked at all. I recall Mom and Dad taking the two brothers home in a yellow Ford station wagon. They were scared half to death especially the older brother, I just thought it was cool. We talked about it the following day and I went to the site and checked the area for anything left behind or something unusual. I don't recall if any of the brothers came with me, they usually did, but I'm sure the older brother would not. The younger brother brought up an interesting point that I did not notice – while describing the thing to each other, he said it had what looked like a baby moon hub cap on its head. We all agreed it was like a silver silhouette of a pe! rson floating off the ground.

A few years ago around 2005, I saw the younger brother that I had not seen for many years at a family function, we talked about the incident and got some pretty good size goose bumps. Both brothers live in the Barstow CA area today; the other friends are no longer with us, most moved to the Navajo reservation and are deceased. We moved out of the desert to the big city of San Bernardino during this period due to dad's job with Santa Fe.

I had forgotten this event for many years and I'm not sure why I remembered. I'm now 59 years old, I know what I saw and want to share it with you because in the "I know what I saw" television program I saw a symbol that closely resembled the thing we saw that night. I have never ever see anything like this symbol in photos, magazines or television shows that even came close to resembling this item until I saw the program. I've tried to contact Mr. Fox the producer of "I Know what I saw" several times but he has not responded.

Cadiz is now gone and it is hard to tell where buildings were. It's sand and rocks now with a few small salt trees. I've visited the area on several occasions to see if I could discern anything - it's tough to figure the place settings today. But it sure was a brief but interesting event that several of us experienced years ago that we still remember.
