Dimly lit triangle seen moving fast across the sky

A triangular craft of unknown size or height travelled across the sky above Lodi, CA just before 8pm on February 18, 2023. I could just see three dim points of light in a triangle formation, assumed to be one craft. They were either dim lights or metallic points reflecting light from the town. I couldn’t gauge size or elevation, and it moved very quickly across my view of the sky for a few seconds before fading from view. No sound that I could hear, no other lights or shapes that I could see. I did not get any photos or video.

Out of my bedroom window I saw a red light moving diagonally with high speed across the sky and in other ways, but then it vanished.

It was christmas morning at about dawn. Me and my siblings were watching for Santa Clause when all the sudden we saw this red light. I could tell this was no military air craft by the way it went so swift and fast diagonally in all directions. Thinking it was Rudolf the red nose reindeer I thought it over and realized it must be a U-F-O.

Driving home from work. I saw four bright lights hovering in the sky. As i make the turn into my home the craft slowly started to drift. Literally no sound just glided and disappeared. At first i thought it was a drone, but this way way to big to be a drone. It was night time couldn't see the shape nor color. I can say is that it had four bright lights and it hovered in the sky for about 15 seconds and quietly disappeared.

Two small fast moving objects near clouds.

On March 20 2019, about 6 pm, I was observing passing cumulus clouds when I saw an object.

This object was rather small, moving at tremendous speed west to east. The object appeared to be long and slender, about 5 times longer than it was thick. It looked to be black in color, but that could not be verified. It appeared to be pointed in front and tapered to the rear from it's thickest point. Altitude is estimated to be about 6,000 feet, using the passing clouds as a reference. I estimate the speed to be at least 500 mph. It covered the visible arc from my viewing point in about 5 seconds. This arc is about 45 degrees, give or take. By the time I rounded the corner of my house for a better look, it was gone.

About 3 minutes later, looking up to the West, I spotted an object that appeared to look like the first one. This one was moving North to South at about half the speed as the first, but rapidly accelerated out of sight in an instant.

A star with flashing colored lights moving erratically

Last night, December 30th, 2018, around 7:15pm (19:00), I walked outside and was amazed by the clear viewing sky above over Ohio. The stars were bright and very few clouds, it was beautiful. So I stood there watching for a short while and then saw something that caught my eye. Just North of Orion's Belt was an object that seemed to be moving erratically and possibly with color. Red, Blue and maybe a yellow. It would circle then move one way and another and then sit still for a while or move to a different spot (not far from the first). Then start all over again in this same pattern.

I ran in the house and had my husband come out, he wasn't impressed but did see it and said "probably some guy with a drone or something" and he went back inside. I watched it for some time and then went in the house to "google" it and there are many sightings of this type. Some mentioned seeing more than one at a time. I went back out and searched the sky and sure enough saw another one. This one was further to the North but then moved East.

Multi-colored diamond or triangular shaped objects seen every night for the last 2-3 months. They are not moving as if fixed in the sky. They are located in the eastern and western sky. They appear as reddish-blue colored lighted objects that are quite large, perhaps the size of 3-4 football fields although difficult to tell. Some are closer and others are more distant but all have a distinct triangular or elongated diamond shape.

Heard an aircraft heading northbound, but, noticed it was moving slow and low over the houses and did not sound like a helicopter or any kind of aircraft I've heard in my lifetime. It almost sounded like a loud, huge fan.

It's rare to hear aircraft passing over this area.

I went to the window and noticed it had finally made its way over the house and it was flying too low. It was a bright white, upright rectangular shape in the middle and two red lights on the side. It was loud enough to drown out the sounds of a passing train, which is usually loud.

Short line of bright white lights w/ red center + small triangle

Just after dark I saw a short line of bright white lights maybe 6-9 in total with a slow red strobe low in the center, very close together in front and slightly to the left of me, almost a solid line. It appeared stationery, a few seconds later I came to a stop sign I saw it move very slowly to the right behind a hill in front of me. I made a left hand turn drove about 15 seconds and then made a right turn and pulled over. In the area a bit to the right of where I parked, where the lights should been I saw what I thought was a helicopter. 3 dim pinpricks of white light in a perfect triangle with a dim slow blinking red light ditectly in the center. The triangle, from my perspective, was the size of a U.S. Quarter held at arms length moving about the same speed as a helicopter would. It moved in a straight line away from me to the right of my parked car, as the triangle left I saw and heard a high flying large jet with its lights blinking very high above me and moving roughly in the opposite direction of the triangle. I tried to take a video but my cell phone camera didn't even pick up the stars around the triangle.

We see small private aircraft around here every day. Dane county airport/Truax Field is very near also so we're also very familiar with larger passenger jets and those very loud F16 fighters. We see hear the national guard's Blackhawks fly over on training flights from time to time and are likewise familiar with the very loud base thump of those aircraft as well, you hear a Blackhawk before you see it. This triangle was totaly silent, any airplane or helicopter at that distance would have been very loud.

I have no idea what I saw, size and distance are difficult for me to judge, but it was incredible. I'll never joke about this stuff again.

3 orange fireballs moving across night sky

Walking to my car after shopping and I notice these two orange balls flying rather slow across the sky .

They were a few hundred yards from each other.

It flys over me and I try to make out a possible shape of an airplane or anything but nothing not a sound ether. The two then disappeared into the sky.

5 min later another one came from the same direction as the other two and also disappeared near the same spot as the others did.

Fireball/orange like object spotted! Lodi,CA

Southern Part of Lodi, CA, A fireball like object was seen by my brother and I. From where we were the orange object seemed a distance away, maybe over the Northern Stockton or central Stockton area. Was watching the night sky since it was very clear, then an orange fireball/light came from the lower horizon area and shot up into the sky. Looked alot like a shooting star but orange and flew at a completely different direction than your usual shooting star. The sighting did not last long, maybe 2-4 seconds or less. Object had a weird orange hue and looked like a fireball sort of. Not much activity here in Lodi, CA so this definitely stood out to us. My neck got sore from looking up so much. Makes you hungry for more!! Amazing! :)

As I was driving south bound on I5, in California, from Sacramento; I was just driving 55mph on the slow lane to save on gas. There were no vehicles around me, and the vehicle in front was far away, while I actually had a straight clear path. So I glanced westward and noticed there was an oval like craft with unusual light sequences. It did not look like a blimp, nor any other man made craft as it was just hovering at a distance in a stationary fashion. I was unable to look for more than a few short seconds as I was driving, but the object was sure an "unidentified flying object". It would have been nice if someone else was driving, because it was a neat light show and I wanted to stare. :)

Strange bright light over Lodi, CA 1/28/2012 8:00 - 8:30pm

A strange Light was seen from my backyard in the southwest part of Lodi. I observed what ever it was and it seemed to not move for anything during the first 10-15 minutes. It was a lot brighter than the stars or any close by planets. There were also a lot of small planes flying near this strange light, but it still did not move. This light had an effect like it was from some sort of technology. It would flicker at times and then it would sometimes have a reddish hue to it. After about 15 minutes or so it started to move away at a very slow speed along the horizon until I lost sight of it behind some trees. Usually I see a lot of small civilian planes with a bright headlight or cabin light in this area, then the light fades off and you then can see the blinking light formation small planes usually have. But the light I seen tonight did not look the same as usual. It was much brighter and it did not follow the flight path of the normal aircraft seen in the Lod! i area. Not much happens in the sky's here so when something doesn't look right you can tell.

UFO Sighting September 14, 2011.

On September 13, 2011, my twenty-five year old daughter came to visit me from the Bay Area to attend a wedding and the events prior to the wedding. She arrived around 8:00pm. Soon after her arrival my boyfriend went to bed, because he has to get up at 4:30 am for work.

My daughter and I stayed up chatting away about the latest news. I fixed her a dinner plate of fried chicken and real mash potatoes with gravy. As the evening went on my daughter got real tried and wanted to sleep. I on the other hand, I was wide-awake from the excitement of her visit and not ready to go to bed.

On or about 11:30pm my daughter insisted I go to sleep and stop talking. She had worked a full day at work and the train conductor gave her a bad time on the train about her bike. Since I live in a one-bedroom apartment and my boyfriend was already asleep in the bedroom and my daughter was trying to sleep on the couch in the living room I went outside on my front patio to wine down a bit.

The apartment complex where I live was real quite. The night air was clean smelling and a bit crisp and refreshing. I sat outside and my patio table with my little dog and cat.

The moon was almost full if not full and there was a bright star near the moon. Actually the moon and the star were the only two objects I saw in the sky. I did not see any other stars and admired that night.

As I sat at the patio table looking up I saw a bright round light come out from behind the moon and speed down fast toward the bright star in a matter of a few seconds (1 one thousand 2 one thousand and a half). This bright round light stopped exactly halfway between the moon and the star. It stayed there for about five minutes.

When it shot out from behind the moon to its position it was fast. I could not believe anything could move so fast. And when it stayed between the moon and the star for about five minutes I thought whatever it is, is surely trying to look like a star. I knew it was not a star; because, when I first looked up at the moon and star it was not there and secondly, I saw it move fast from behind the moon to its present position.

As I sat there I watched it for about five minutes. There was no way I was going to take my eyes off of it. I was amazed. I knew I was seeing an unexplained phenomenon, and it was amazing, and beyond understand. Still at the same time, I did understand what I was watching and knew there was nothing from earth that could move that fast. And just as all these thought race threw my thoughts and my eyes fixed on the object it moved fast again toward earth.

This time, like the first time it moved real fast toward the earth. In about two to three seconds it was close to the earth and went behind my building in the sky and I lost it.

I just sat there going W0W! I surely saw something-something. Who would believe me? Who could I tell? I didn’t want to wake anyone up, so I went about the evening focusing on my dog and cat that were sitting outside with me. A few minutes later I decided to look up at the moon and star again, because, despite what I just saw the moon and star were magnificent in themselves.

Then from behind my apartment building the bight round light speeded across the sky in a liner fashion. WOW, I thought here we go again. The bright light speeded across the sky as it had done before and stopped again. This time it was located under the moon closer to earth. And again it remained there for sometime, about three minutes. And again I thought it was trying to appear like a star. Just like the first time I knew it was not a star; because it was not there before and I saw it speed across the sky and stop at its present location.

My thoughts raced again for the second time. Again I thought that the bright light was doing a real good job as acting like a star but wasn’t. Its position in the sky seemed as though it was lining itself up to appear as a triangle. Anyone who just looked up would think it position was natural in nature. On or about this time, a neighbor exited his father’s apartment across the way real quite, since everyone was sleeping. It was at this time while the bight light was in stationed at its second location in the sky, that I quietly asked him to look at the sky to see what I see. He did and pointed. When I looked back up the light was still there and zipped across the sky in a liner fashion into the night mist beyond my vision. About the time my I asked the neighbor to look up at the sky to see what I see—my daughter complained about me making noise when I promised to be quiet so she could fall asleep. I felt bad for asking the neighbor to look up at the sky, because, I w! as doing my best to be quiet and to respect her and others who were sleeping.

Once the bright light/object in the sky was gone it did not come back. I waited for sometime and remained quiet while I did so.

On or about 12:36am I went into my apartment and changed out of my PJ’s into street clothes and went for a bike ride. I was more awake than ever and needed to somehow, someway get tired.

I road my bike to the Chevron and bought a beer, came home, and sat outside for an hour wishing the bright light in the sky would return. It never did and soon thereafter I went to bed.

The following morning I slept in from being up so late. When I turned on the local 11:00am news there was a story about a fireball seen the day before. Since I caught the tell end of the news story I yelled out “I’m not crazy”. My daughter said to me that she heard me ask the neighbor to look up at the sky.

When the noon news came on the watched the entire story about the “fireball” seen in Arizona at 7:45pm the day before. This event is not what I saw! There are many differences than similarities.

First and foremost, the bright light I saw happened between midnight and 12:15/20am. Second, there was absolutely no orange flame tail! The bright light round object that I saw moved fast in the sky then stopped for sometime, then moved again, the moved again, then stopped, and then zipped out of sight. Furthermore, the object I saw pretended to be a star when it stopped.

The above account of September 14, 2011, happened without a doubt and I am happy to report it in the hopes that others saw the same.

Moreover, about four days before I had a dream about aliens that I think is important to note here. I have since I could remember always noted my dreams and have done my best to remember them, and talk about them when I wake up.

About four day prior to the above event I had a dream about being at a huge library. I love books. While at this library I had to go to another floor to find a book. I went into an elevator to get to the other floor and ended up in floor to which I did not have access too. When I exited the elevator I knew I should not be there and searched for another to get off the floor. I found a man who was human, yet I knew he was an alien being. I explained my situation to him and he picked up a rock. With his eyes he wrote in the stone some crypt language how to get out of there. It looked like: ---?----- ------------------? ------------------ Because I didn’t understand his language, the alien/human look alike walked with me back to the elevator and placed the stone in the wall and the elevator took my back to the right floor of the library.

What was so awesome about this dream was, when I woke up I remembered it all. That is not always the case with all my dreams.

I have a friend and we chat daily—on that day, like I do most days I told her my dream and went about our day as usual.

After my sighting on September 14, 2011, I told my friend that the sighting and the dream are to close for comfort. I’m not spooked, but am informed, something out there is trying to contact me. I am fascinated but I don’t like it.

In writing down my accounts I hope that there is some explanation now or in the future. Unexplained knowledge today maybe helpful in the future.

bright object eradically zig zaging in sky around airplanes, almost strobing light effect. above lodi,ca

I was standing the front of my friends house and saw an object in the sky moving back and forth in every direction first it looked to be really high like a star but then noticed the clouds and a plane heading the direction of the object.

I then proceded to ask my friends if they saw the object to make sure that i wasn't just seeing things, they confirmed and then the plane disappeared in the clouds, It looked like the object moving back and forth in front of the plane before the plane disappeared, right before the plane passed it made an immediate dive down ward and then back really far away, then the object reurned and as another plane entered the air space of it again.

the object seemed to be flashing light but i couldnt really ditinguish any certain color, just like a star kind of twinkles, then every time it would make sudden movement, it would i guess kind of make this really bright light kind of undescribable too, just really bright kind of strobe li! ke not super fast but like two flashes a second.

I noticed the object at 8:22 pm and the object flew out of site at 8:38 pm.

Detected a moving circular light over a farm, next to the Interstate 5 freeway. After 3-5 seconds, it shot straight up into the sky.

As I was driving on the Interstate 5 freeway, northbound, I glanced to my left, especifically looking for a vehicle next to me, but I inadvertently saw a moving circular light hovering over a farm.

I immediately realized it was unusual, because the circular light was moving & hovering over the farm, while I did not see a possible natural source.

But after 3 to 5 seconds, the moving & hovering circular light shot up into the sky at about a 70 degree angle (90 degrees being perfectly straight up). I almost felt like, whatever it was, detected I was watching and it immediately attempted to go away.

There did not seem to be anybody on the farm at the time, and everyone on the freeway were driving, and there most likely weren't anyone looking around, unless a vehicle had passengers looking around, so I may very well could have been the only one to see it.

During the time, there were no ready crops or anything visibly planted yet. The farm ground was most green with trees on the far south end, and on the further west end, while the freeway was on the east end.

It was my first time witnessing such an event, and my general perspective of the event was like seeing something on TV in regards to UFOs. The time was in the morning, around 8:30 am...

From my past, with people I've talked to, some have mentioned about strange lights on farms, but they typically ignored the situation.

Low flyng glowing goldish UFO

since 6/21/10 every night at sun down you can see low flying transparent objects and moving light in the sky. now we have planes flying around every night with flashing light on them. the planes move very fast with no sound. 7/22/10 we had 2 very loud /helicopters flying around all day. On 7/22/10 i was standing on my back patio and i could see a lot of low flying and transparent objects flying over my apartments almost like a see through shadow with no lights like they didnt want to be seen. I was getting ready to go in the house so i wasnt looking in the sky i looked to my left to turn around and g inside my house and i couldnt believe my eyes i saw a glowing gold metal it was so bright object that looked like something out of a scifi movie i still cant believe what i saw i keep thinking what it could have been almost like i dont want to to be real. It wasnt very big about the size of a family S.U.V. it was thin in the middle and the shape was kinda! like a upside down v and was going so fast and then just slowed for a second as it was almost like it was coming in for a landing about 100yds from me i will never forget what i seen i have been out every night for the last month looking in the sky hoping to see some kind of moving light changing colors in the sky i never thought i would see what there ship looks like up close i am 39yrs old with a wife and 1yr old daughter i am was so scared for my family i cant even explain whats going through my mind i am not sure if i even want to tell anyone about about last night i am so worried and scared on whats to come. Not UFO, but lightning can appear identical to sightings and persist for unnaturally seeming long times.

Have often observed UFO like orange to dark red flashes and glows as the warm summer ocean moisture ladened air stacks up to the north and east of us creating embedded glows. The storms can be so intense they seem glow relentlessly. Occasionally, patterns of glow would "ignite" and travel 15-30 degrees across ones field of vision well above the horizon appearing to be objects in motion and rapidly changing direction.

We were mystified until we learned the glows were cause by energetic lightening storms taking place approaching the Sierra Mountain Range. The storms embed in clouds that can be invisible as they blend into the dust laden air. The lightening create lights and shapes that move and persist for many seconds at a time ... and when you witness it, it seems like minutes.

Red glowing object over south eastern sky in Lodi Nj on 9/5/2009

I was working a street fair in Lodi New Jersey and another vendor about 25 feet away from me walked over and said, "What’s that up in the sky?? He noticed other people looking up in the sky so it caught his attention. The object was in the south eastern sky. It was not a plane or helicopter. The people I talked to who saw the object all agreed to that.

It was red in color and appeared to be bright, almost glowing on and off. It looked like it was fairly far up in the sky because a visible star or planet was just to the north of the object, so I kind of used that as a reference. Another friend of mine who has his own local cable TV show was at my stand and he had his video camera with him because he tapes all of the street fairs in the area and shows the footage on his show. He filmed about 30-60 seconds of the object and he zoomed in and out on the object and after watching the video replay on his camera, when he zoomed in on the object, it appeared to be white in color. He has promised to give me a DVD copy of the footage which I will gladly mail you if you’d like. I should be getting the DVD over the weekend. Please let me know if you would like a mailed copy.

Maybe it was a weather balloon or flare or prank by someone but I’ve been an advent sky watcher for UFO’s and this is the first time I can actually say that I saw a UFO. I’m not saying that it was a space ship, but no way was it a plane. The object eventually seemed to fade away and get smaller and then a cloud moved in front of it and it was gone. The reason why I say it could have been a flare is because about six months ago, reports were all over the Star Ledger (Major New jersey newspaper) about red lights in the Morris County sky (I live in Morris County) and the sightings occurred on multiple nights and were compared to flares. If you Google “red lights over Morris County NJ”, you may see the articles.

I am a grown man and would never waste my time with a bull shit story and as previously mentioned, I’ve always been fascinated with UFO’s ever since I bought a book in the 1970’s titled “Is something up there” I would very much like to hear what you have to say about my sighting. Right after the event, I called a New York radio station to see if they had any reports of flying saucers in the area and they said no. Since the object was over the south east sky, it probably could be seen over New York City.

very dim grouping that still may have been geese, flying in a stright line in the south direction, it was very high up almost at the height of incoming airplanes about to make there approach, as one plane came in from the west, the formation all scateredin almost a qiuck loop towards the east only to form a circle then practically in symetry to then spread back out ibto a straight line again and continue to fly south only to disapear almost like it went higher to get out of my eye focus, i hope others seen this

It was very late I was sleeping and woken up by very bright lights shining into my windows. The lights were so bright that I thought I was still dreaming just waking up somewhat confused by this bright white light. Then it got extremely dark and I seen green flashing lights, so I decided to look out the window. I couldn't see the sky or stars i only seen what i can describe looked like a moving black shadow that blocked out the sky. I didn't know what I could be looking at so I went to the door and opened it to get a better look. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that I would see what I seen. It was this HUGE rectangle shaped spacecraft that had white lights on it and flashing green lights. It was slowly moving over my house and literally blocked out the sky when it passed over you. I felt somewhat intimidated and afraid by the very sight of this thing because of its size. I don't know if this was a United States Military Spacecraft or if it was from somewhere else. All I can say is that it was the biggest thing I have ever seen in the sky in my entire life. Just seeing something like this puts you in shock and awe it's like seeing 6 football stadiums together as one object flying in the sky. You don't know what to think. I still don't know what to think and it's taken me a long time to speak about this often questioning myself saying what did I just see?!?! Honestly speaking I can only say I seen something that to me looked like it was not from this planet.

Small shiney glare in sky, like a plane, and disappeared rather than flew away.

I was driving down the 99 frwy here from sacramento to stockton. As I was approaching Lodi, I saw what I thought was a small jet. It was shiney like a plane. I watched it for a bit and it was flying from east to west. The more I looked at it the more I was trying to make out what exactly it was.

I watched it for about 20 seconds and then it disappeared. Now it did'nt fly away where I couldnt see it. There were no clouds out that day. It got to the point where it looked like it was going to go off into the distance where you normally cant see anymore, but it never hit that point. It disappeared too early. The light, or glare became really small like it was shrinking rather than leaving the area. It was weird.

I have seen another sighting in 1997. Different type though.

3 distinct colored lights hovering over the city in the daytime

I was driving and seen 3 distinct lights just hovering there in the middle of the sky up ahead. I stopped and took a few pictures of it, my friend was with me and took 2 of the pics. There was nothing around that could have reflected onto the sky and it wasnt during sunset when the sky can have many different colors. I looked at it a few min. later and it looked like it was starting to fade (I had to get back in and continue driving) and that was all I seen of it.

My daughter and I in Lodi, California watched a Orange/yellow glowing object moving slowly over my house.

My daughter and I stepped out onto my patio last Sunday night and I immediately noticed an orange/yellow round shaped object in the sky it was heading from south to north over our house.

I could not tell how high it was, but it looked bigger overall than the usual air traffic that I would normally see in this area.

The first thing that I noticed about the object was that it had no navigation lights on it, instead the whole thing glowed brite orange/yellow. It was moving much slower than an airplane and made absolutely no sound.

After about 20 seconds of watching this object it did something very weird, fire fell off of it. It looked like some one poured a flaming liquid out of this object, at first the steam of fire coming out was brite yellow and then it changed to orange and then vanished. If the object was say fifty feet in diameter then the steam of fire was 150 feet long.

As we watched, fire fell off three different times and then the whole object made a very sudden slow right turn and headed east, as it headed east the object began to turn a dull orange and then it vanished into the night sky.

I am 55 years old and my daughter is 26 and neither of us has ever seen anything like this in our lives.

We saw a huge blue light about 30,00 feet up with a beam of ligh coming out from underneath it that reached all the way to the ground.

We were travelling south on US 99. I was driving with my two sons and wife. My 15 year old son told me there was something in the sky that looked strange to him.

I pulled to the side of the road. I looked over and saw what appeared to be a huge blueish light about 30,000 feet above the ground hovering stationary. What was more odd to me than the light was the fact that emanating from underneath the object was a beam of light that went all the way to the ground. I have spent time in airplane cockpits so I am sure I got the altitude pretty close.

Anyway, I know of no light posessed by Man that can travel such a distance without dissipating.

At this point, I told the kids--the other boy was twelve--to GET THE CAMERA. During this time my wife was was just looking at it with a confused look with her mouth sort of agape. We were all a little bit frightened. We couldn't produce a camera in time unfortunately and after about 10 minutes the light or craft or whatever left the area at an impossible speed. Just zippped away.

After it left there was a streak of blue in the sky where it had been. My kids are are still amazed by it as am I. My young son told a class of students about it and they all laughed at him.

My wife won't talk about it, probably since she has a very high-profile position in the defense industry.

Strange light over Lodi

Around 9:00p.m. I was sitting outside with some company. We were just hanging out enjoying the cool night. I walked out to the driveway and a light caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I looked up (toward the East) and saw this very bright, deep, orange/red light flying very very fast through the sky. As it flew it zig zagged. I screamed for everyone to come look. For about 15-20 minutes we watched this light zig zag, go straight up at a high rate of speed, go straight down at a high rate of speed, go side to side, get real bright then very dim. I'm not good at guessing miles, but those with me guessed it was about 5 miles away. It was really amazing and we have no idea what it could have been. It was sooo fast and moved incredibly. All together there were six witnesses.

HE MENIONED IT ONCE BUT I EGNORED HIM. 15 SECONDS LATER HIS TONE GOT LOUDER WITH CURIOSITY. HE TOLD MY GIRLFRIEND TO LOOK BUT SHE DIDDN'T CARE. THEN HE SHOUTED AT ME TO LOOK. SO I LOOKED AT MY BROTHER AND HE POINTED AT THE SKY. WHEN I LOOKED UP I SEEN ABOUT FIVE OVAL OBJECTS IN A PATTERN HUVERING STILL ABOUT A HALF MILE HIGH. I LOST VISUAL OF THEM CAUSE I WAS DRIVING. Two large groupings sighted in NE and E part of the sky outside of Lodi/Stockton California

At approximately 2:30 am on the morning of 9/2/02, I witnessed a bright light that appeared to be a falling star. The light grew closer and smaller lights started to gather in formation around the brighter light. They travelled forward and then would drop so much towards the ground and then level out. This was a continuous manuveur for about 2 hours. As it got closer, I could distinguish the red light on the top of the larger ship and make out seperate individual ships travelling with the red light. I saw approximately 20-25 smaller ships around the red light. The light seemed to change colors as it got closer.They were located in the NE section of the sky and moved to the Western area of the sky. A second grouping was also located in the Eastern section of the sky and I saw a flash of bright light relesed from the first grouping to the second grouping. The first group was in a holding pattern and sent the flash of light to the second group and then the second group formed into a V shape and they held their position as the first group got closer.The first group travelled directly over my house heading West. They were about 20,000 feet over my roof. No wings were apparent and they were silent. Prior to this the flashing lights between the two groups became more sequential and then a bright red light appeared and the communication between the flashing lights ended.All the animals on my street began barking and the horses began kicking out at the fences and whinnying as if a predator was in the area.

Strobing star

This is reminiscent of the sighting on 11/2/00 from Oostburg. I noticed a strobing light in the South east sky. It sat motionless for about 1 hour flashing Red Green and Blue. It appeared to move slightly with the other stars athough there were clouds which eventually obstructed my view. This may be a star but I have never seen one which changed colors so dramatically. If some knows which star or planet this is let me know I will check again in the same location the next clear night and if it appears again I must assume it is a natural phenomenom.

Floating rod with 4 to 6 sequentially flashing lights appeared over freeway near an airport. Object was clearly seen but appeared and disappeared quickly.

Traveling north on Highway 99 north of Lodi, CA and while traveling adjacent to the local airport which is alongside and perpendicular to the west side of the highway I briefly saw a rod shaped object. It hung directly over the freeway above the treeline. Although there was nothing in the sky to compare it to, my sense was that the object was about 30 feet long and about one quarter of a mile away at an altitude of maybe 100 to 150 feet. What first attracted my attention was a series of 4 to 6 sequentially flashing bright white lights, with possibly one or two smaller non-flashing lights inbetween the flashing lights. The object seemed to be in fairly sharp focus and I could see a thin gray or black rod that the lights seemed to be mounted to. The rod was at an angle of about 60 degrees, like a clock arm pointing at the number 11. It did not appear to be moving. My first thought was that it was a plane approaching the airport, although if it was approaching from the north it would be perpendicular to the runway. This was quickly followed by the thought that it might be a radio tower with flashers on it, although as I said, it hung directly over the freeway. Then it just simply disappeared as though someone threw a switch. I couldn't believe it and kept staring at the spot in the sky where I saw it. It made me wonder if any of the other motorists saw it. The whole sighting lasted about 2 seconds. The sighting occurred just as the sun was setting and the sky was still light colored. There were no clouds in the sky in the area. I have traveled this route weekly for the last eight years and am very familiar with objects along the highway.

Strange fireballs on Dec. 03, 1999 on the West side of Lodi. They hung around for about four hours, and military planes flew over.

Around 7:30pm on Dec. 03, 1999, my cousin (who at the time was 10 years old) and I went outside to wait for Santa Claus to come by on his firetruck (a town Christmas tradition). I need to give you a quick description of where we live. We live on the West side of Lodi, our house faced north but to the west of us across the street is nothing but fields going towards the delta. The only houses around us are to the east and north. As we were outside waiting I happened to turn to the west towards the field and noticed two large orange/red fireballs hanging over the field just a little above tree level. I had my cousin go in the house and get three more of my relatives. As we watched these lights they would appear and disappear as if throwing alight switch, and sometimes they would just get real dim then glow real brightly. Around this time four more of my relatives were driving by so we flagged them down to watch. There were other motorists on the road, and some looked like they were looking at the objects, but I'm not sure if any one else saw them. Anyways, this whold thing lasted about four and a half hours of these huge fireballs appearing, disappearing, dimming, and darting back and forth. And the entire time aircraft was circling them, I mean lots and lots of airplanes. AT one point a huge military plane flew right over our house and it was so low you could see the missles attached to it. One of the unknown craft went flying down the field, just barely over the grapevinyards, and it seemed to be spinning as it flew. It had red and blue lights andit was so fast we couldn't even tell where it went. So to make a long story short Lodi was full of strange lights that night and after that night we saw them around five or six more times.

In the summer of 1996 I was playing with a friend in their hottub, we were both about 12 years old. My sister was playing in the yard also, we were having a "sleep over" My friend and I looked up and there was a HUGE craft, it seemed to be close enough to almost touch! Probably about 100-200 feet up. It was about as big as a football field. It was a boomerang shape and there were two whit lights on each point, and a large red and white light in the center/front. The metal looked brownish, and you could see it all pieced together, like where it was welded together or something.There was NO sound at all. I looked over to my sister and screamed "LOOK!!!" and we all looked up and it was gone. My friend and I told her (my sister) about it, but the next monday in school I asked my friend and she said she didn't remember seeing anything. I don't know why she ever changed her mind. About 4 years later or so, not sure, I was taping the MTV music awards, don't ask why...anyways, I was flipping through on commericals and stopped on Unsolved Mysteries and what do you know! The EXACT thing that I had seen was on the TV about like 25 people who had seen it in like Tennesee or something. I hit record and got about a 1 second taping of the craft. Even though it was a "re-creation" it looked exactly the same. I don't know what ever happend to the tape. Oh well, just thought that I would share my story!! I looked up pictures on Google but couldn't find anything that matched.

Spheres of Light in Night Sky Around October 1977

I'm not sure of the dates and/or times, but I know that the night I witnessed the sighting was announced on both radio and television.

I was looking out the window of my second story apartment, when I saw three lights in the distance, moving across the sky, far enough away for me to assume that it was a plane because of the public and private airports near me. But then I realized there were no "colored" lights alongside the three white balls of light that moved "in sync" across the sky. The lights stopped in mid air, and after a few seconds, one moved quickly upward, separating from the other two, and simply disappeared into what I believed were the clouds that night. Then one of the remaining spheres went "left" at a speed that clearly faster than a plane, but not so much that it sped - just moved. The other light hung there for a moment, then moved "down," not falling, but as if it were descending, then disappeared.

All of this happened over a period of ten - 15 minutes. I went to pick my husband from work, and upon our return the radio station announced that a number of people had called in about UFOs. I then told my husband of my experience. I've never forgotten it

I am a Special Education teacher with two Masters degrees. This incindent took place in 1962 or 1963. I was 5 or 6 years old at the time.

My older brother and I were playing outside at the railroad tracks behind my Grandmother's house in the country. I remember it being very warm, and sunny that day. I don't recall who saw them first, but we stood there and watched in wonder.

I was watching Unexplained Mysteries, Destination Earth today, and found out what we saw were rare, and called cluster UFO;s.

At first it looked like one large craft with seperate, circular, bright red lights. It made no sound. They seemed to be following the railroad tracks at a slow speed. "It" then stopped, and hovered for a time.

Then, to our amazement, it broke apart, and all but approx. 6 crafts sped off at high speed. Each of those that sped off didn't travel far because we could see them. All once they stopped. The main group remained hovering in it's original spot.

The crafts that sped off, and stopped abrubtly, also hovered for a short period of time, and then sped just a quickly, all in unison, back to the main group.

This "dance" continued for a couple more times, and then began to move together at a slow speed, getting closer to us.

I don't know how my Grandmother became aware of what we were watching, but she began yelling for us in a panicked voice to come into the house immediately. I don't recall how long she yelled for us, but we were mesmorized, and didn't move.

The next thing I remember, my Grandmother came running for us, grabbed us, and ran panicked back into the house. She locked the doors, and then called my Aunt who lived 1/8 of a mile away, as well as an Uncle who lived the same distance away.

All had children, and to listen to my Grandmother talking on the phone, it was obvious that everyone also saw what we were watching.

We were not frightened in any way, but the adults were very frightened.

I have no idea how long they stayed, how long they performed their "dance", or where they went from there. I have always told this story when the subject comes up. I relive the story quite often, as it seemed as thought it happened yesterday.
