Bright Green Light over Foothill Ranch, CA - 11/5/08

WHEN: At approximatley 12:30am just past midnight, early Wed 11/5/2008, my colleague & I were driving southbound on CA-241 toll roads.

WHERE: Just after passing the Foothill Town Centre area (Lake Forest Drive exit), there was a bright green light that flashed in the clear sky ahead of us. I estimate it was 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile directly ahead of us, above the middle of the toll road approximatley 100-200 yards above the ground.

DESCRIPTION: The light was green, similar to a traffic light, but very bright. It probably lasted for just 1/2 second to 1 second. It was so bright that it seemed like it was shining directly at us, similar to when someone shines a flashlight at you. To me, it appeared that the green light was shaped like a diamond, with its vertical axis 5 times longer than its horizontal axis. It disappeared without leaving any kind of trail. We did not see a craft or any physical object - just a bright light.

It was late at night and there were no other car headlights visible in our rear view mirror, nor coming towards us from the opposite site of the road. My coworker and I were chatting when the light suddenly appeared and immediately got both of our attention due to its color, brightness, and location. Perhaps the object noticed us because it was dark, desolate, and we were traveling pretty fast (80-85 mph).

NOTE: My partner & I are both Federal Agents and we saw the same thing. It wasn't a helicopter, firework, or anything else we could explain. There were news reports the following morning that a rocket was fired from Vandenburg Air Force Base, but what we saw was no rocket.

At 9:45pm my sister called to tell me to look out the window. She had seen strange lights that looked like a very brite star. I looked at window in sky and I could see alarge brite light in a shape of a circle. It moved up and down and sideways. It seemed to shoot off straight sharp lights . When the straight lights-which when it would shoot the end of the lights that were shot out seemed to end with a small burst. It kept moving slow and it seemed to fall. There was another one next to it doing the same thing. A helicoper showed up and it seemed to dissapear.

A large sphere object with many blinking lights in different colors.

I saw a big light green ball at the top of the UFO. The rest of it was big and dark green, and blinking red, yellow, and white lights. It looked weird because I’ve never seen one before. It was going kind of slow. The UFO was in a sphere shape. It wasn’t very high in the sky. I watched it move in the night sky for about 10 minutes before it moved north and seemed to get smaller.

A large sized, see through shaped saucer with lights all around and within the object.

On February 6, 2007 at around 6:30pm I saw an unidentified object. It was a very large object. An airplane had passed next to it, and the airplane was about 1/50 as compared to the object. It was a saucer shape. There were thousands of lights surrounding it and inside of it. The lights though were separated enough to make the saucer shape. It moved relatively slow across the sky heading north. The object made no noise. It was very close to the ground. It went no higher than seven thousand feet. Two other people witnessed this sighting. There was only one object. The lights within it were colors of green and blue with some red. The lights looked like stars almost. The lights were all moving together in unison. The lights were all the same size. It was at night and the moon was out. When the object flew through the light of the moon, there was no "metal body" or anything to bind all of the lights together. It was completely see through. It slowly got smaller as it moved away. We stood there for ten minutes and watched it float away.

One squashed-oval object. Colour= burnt-orange, rimmed in a fuzzy neon light blue. Size= 3 or 4 large stars put together.

My dog was cowering about my feet; a usual situation when there is wind or storm present. I went outside to check the area. There were no stars visable, as the sky was overcast and misty. There was hardly even a breeze. I, then, saw a squashed-oval object - burnt orange, rimmed in a fuzzy neon light blue, in the upper half of the Southern sky. I thought that it was just a pretty star, robed in mist, until I realized that it was much too big, and moving away. It was about the size of three/four very large stars. Within the course of approx. 10 secs. it grew smaller, and smaller, until it disappeared. My dog's neurotic behavior ceased! I had no idea as to the identity of the object seen.

I am a Naturopath residing/vacationing in California.

Huge disk type object with flat edges, red glowing steam around it, hovering very low.

My boyfriend and I were bored one. Othe and drove around neighborhoods, looking at the new houses in a new community. There was still construction going on in some neighborhoods, so it wasn't densely populated. It was night time, and the sky had some clouds in it but not heavy.

As we were driving down this hill, all of a sudden in front of us appeared an enormous disk but with flat surfaces that angled on the sides. It was so large it filled the sky in front of us. It appeared to be incredibly close, about 30-50 feet away, hovering effortlessly and silently not very high in the sky at all. I cannot stress enough how insanely large this thing was just hanging low in the sky. From what I remember it wasn't a smooth surface, it was dark in color, and had steam all around it and red lights which made the steam glow red.

I don't recall seeing where the red lights came from. I just remember the red glowing steam. Just as suddenly and silently as it appeared, it disappeared. It was like seeing something unimaginable, right in front of you.

I recently asked my ex about that night 20 years ago, and if we really saw a ufo, and he confirmed that we really did see it. If I was alone, I wouldn't have believed my own eyes.

I have never seen anything like it since.

We were also close to El Toro Marine Base, where we lived. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
