Immediately afterwards a ball of light flew out from the direction of the rising sun. It flew in about 500 ft to the north and stopped. Then did it again. The ball of light flew approximately 1000 ft to the north and faded out until it was gone

Sighted a strange hovering light above hills a near/on ground west of Paradise

Went outside to let in dog. Sighted a light northwest of Paradise hovering above the hills I’d never seen before. At times thought I might have seen two. It remained stationary and seemed to brighten and dim. I got my phone and took several videos. Upon zooming in the light appeared to be spinning and be comprised of several smaller lights giving off various colors. After 10 minutes of observation, it disappeared but then I noticed at least six more below on the ground.

Many continual crafts moving one after another in perfect spacing and speed

A formation of lights perfectly spaced traveling at a high rate of speed continued in a north-west direction with only small breaks in between what I would consider "Ships". Lights varied from dim to medium bright white in color. After counting up-to 30 continual light after light , I realized what I was witnessing. At looking around in the sky I did notice some lights dimmer white toward the south as if to be-watching the formation traveling south-east.They disappeared at a high rate. This was off of Pence, Rd , in Paradise ,Ca. Between 8:15 to 8:50. I then drove east to Quincy, Ca. to my residence at which time my mate confirmed the sighting as I but here in Quincy. He experience lasted more than a hour.

We were watching the blood moon eclipse and witnessed lights moving at high speed high in the sky passing each other very close scattered around the moon, above us, in the far distance past the moon.

A large white object with sparks coming off it lit up the night sky before breaking into pieces.

A group of us were standing outside waiting for a friend at 3:15 am when the entire sky lit up. There was 2 flashes that made it look like it was day light. We then observed a bright white light about the size of a quarter. The object looked like it had sparks coming off of it.

The object then broke into large pieces before disappearing behind the mountain.

About 2 minutes later we heard a large boom, boom, boom, that echoed in the valley. The booms sounded very very far away. The object was silent when we observed it.

Strange light(s) in sky with interesting trajectory vanishes into nothingness.

I was outside, smoking a cigarette on my balcony when I realized the sky had cleared up from its cloudy & rainy state, earlier today. I could see some stars, so I moved forward on the balcony to get a better view. There are a lot of trees on my property.

Immediately, a strange looking star caught my eye. It seemed to move around like a bug-- going side to side and up & down, all while moving diagonally upward-- but was shining brilliantly. I noticed there was a hint of a warm color in it, but could not determine which one. Red? Yellowish? Thinking it might be a satellite, I kept my eyes fixed and saw that it was not just one light, though one was brighter than the rest, there was a line of lights, like matinee lights, lighting from front to back in succession.

I felt quite dizzy from the sight, as I have never seen anything of the sort before... & let's just say I am a skeptic on the idea of alien UFOs. It continued to dart around, making me move about my upstairs deck to catch it through trees, until it was visible in a clearing, unobstructed. I had doubted what I had seen until this moment, when I felt sickeningly certain of the bizarre lights and even more bizarre movements. Suddenly, it stopped. I thought my eyes were strained because it became more and more difficult to see. The light became a pinpoint in the sky, hardly visible, and then disappeared completely.

I waited around a little, then went back inside to look up sightings, though I believe it was probably too soon. After a moments searching, I decided to go back out for another look. I stood where I had been on the balcony when the lights vanished, and looked around, examining each star I could see in the area. I feel very hesitant to describe my next experience, as I could just be hyper sensitive due to the mind-blowing phenomena, but I sensed something out of the corner of my eye, very close to me that made me panic, briefly. I was in the front corner of the balcony, second story, and to that corner of my eye there should have only been air-- it was beyond the railing. Strangely, I ignored it and my panic, still scrutinizing the patch of night sky, and then I became overly aware of the "thing" next to me. Turning my head quickly, all I saw was a strange wisp of silver-ish smoke/vapor, but only faintly. It scared me half to death and I ran inside, after which I fo! und this website, knowing that I could probably never tell this story without people's skepticism.

I do wish I could know what I just saw, it was incredible and unbelievable.

Multiple aircraft

I previously reported a circle of light (Dec. 2007?) that flew over my head at 4:00 in the a.m. to this site. This circle of light was flying below 1000 feet, no noise, did not emit light, was approx. 1/4 the size of the moon and ejected (or maybe something shot at it and missed) a fluorescent light (orange/red tube segmented with a black line)from the bottom of it. I told my sister all about this light a couple of years ago.

This same sister was staying with me in July of this year. One night (approx. 7-20-11)she woke me up to tell me that the light was flying over (22:00 hrs appox.). We both went out on the deck but it was gone. She was pointing in the direction that it was going (same as 2007 sighting - traveling from NNW to SSE). While she was pointing south I happened to glance up (north) and saw a strange craft.

This craft was right above our heads and flying from the SSW to NNE. It was flying below 1000 feet AND THERE WAS NO NOISE. It had 3 lights on it (red,green and white) it resembled an large airplane but it was way too bulky (?) to be a airplane in my opinion. I could see a fuselage and wings but the wings were as thick and as big as the fuselage which doesn' t make any sense to me. The whole body of the craft looked like two rectangle boxes stuck together like a cross. I could see the craft so well because IT WAS THAT LOW and SLOW! This craft disappeared over the tree line and about 10 seconds later there was a very loud rumble (sort of like thunder but not) that lasted about 20 seconds. The loud rumble came from the direction that the craft disappeared (NNE), NOT from overhead.

Anyway, about 1-2 min. after that we could hear what sounded like military jets screaming out of Beale AFB (approx. 50 miles S of us). It sounded like 2 jets but we only saw one fly overhead about 5-10 min. later.

The craft my sister initially saw sounded exactly like the one that I saw in 2007. A circle of white light about 1/4 the size of a full moon, no noise, did not emit light and flying very low.

I don't know what we saw in July, but it was very strange.

2 lights, 1st one NOT blinking being followed by 2nd one with blinking lights (probable military aircraft)

2 lights traveling from NNW to SSE. 1st light was light red/orange high altitude, constant light (no blinking light). 2nd light (probable military fighter) was white with blinking lights (red mostly)seemed to be at the same altitude. Both lights were traveling at a very high speed, much much faster than commercial jets. The 2nd light seemed to be trailing the 1st and was being outrun by the 1st light. I am an ex-military wife who has lived on Air Force Bases and Naval bases so I am very familiar with military aircraft and how fast they travel. These lights were going VERY fast and the "military aircraft" was not catching up to the 1st light but was obviously following it.

Two bright lights following each other seen in the sky when no stars were present

Two bright lights were seen flying over the West Feather River canyon branch in Paradise, CA. One light was dimmer than the other and they seemed to be following be following each other.

There were no stars in the sky, and they could not have been domestic aircraft, because they were both solid and steady lights.

Shape - Spherical or circle (other object - tubular) Color - White light (other object - reddish orangish brownish - flourescent) Size - 1/4 size of full moon (longer than first object) At 4:05 in the morning (I don't remember the exact date, Dec. '07 approx.)I observed a white light coming through the tree tops. It was a spherical or circle of bright white light. It flew right over my head at a steady slow speed at an altitude of approximately 1,000 feet! There was absolutely NO NOISE! It came from the WNW and disappeared in the ESE direction. Right before it disappeared over the tree line a reddish brown tube of light either flew right below it or it was shot out of the bottom of the UFO. The tube shot out at a very high speed but it was lit up like a flourescent tube and it looked like there were 2 sections to the tube. I could definetly see a black line in the middle of the tube. Anyway the reason that I did not send this info before is because I didn't think anyone would believe me. I haven't been to your site in months and today I saw the sighting in NY in July that is almost identical to what I saw. I have seen other strange things before and I have never reported them but this one was very close and different from anything that I have ever seen. During this sighting tears flowed from my eyes and all I could say was "OH MY GOD" over and over again. Unless our government has a craft that can float through the air without sound and be lit up like this was (and also shoot out that weird tube) I would have to say that this was not of this world.

In Paradise,California I observed 2 parallel lines of light at an angle between 3am and 4am in the west not moving or changing.

I was awake at 3am to give my sister her medicine. When I went into the kitchen to rinse the medical supplies I saw due west 2 parallel thick lines of yellow white light at a slight angle. The light was not the same bright white color of the stars. The one on top appeared to have a ball of light at the head of the line. They did not move. I watched them for about 10 minutes to see if there was any movement. There was none. I thought they might be shooting stars or comets with tails. The lines were uniformly thick though and the same length. The outlines were fuzzy and not sharp. I went outside in front to get a closer look and then went into the backyard to see if I could still see them. They did not move or change. I watched for about 30 minutes and then went back inside the house. I watched them from my bedroom window which is in the front of the house where the kitchen is. They never moved or changed. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up it was still dark and they were gone.

a white "contrail" fixed in size, shape and consistency.

I looked up while still driving as I noticed what looked like a contrail. When I parked and got out of the car in the KMART parking lot, I looked up again and noted that the "contrail" hadn't begun to lengthen, nor had it begun to dissapate like they always do (I am an airforce brat, and know what a contrail looks like). So my attention was suddenly very focused. I stood there and watched what looked like a solid contrail slowly move from the northeast to the west (I think anyway, but I am not the best at direction, I use the sun to judge). I also noticed that despite the sunny day, and the position of the sun, I couldn't see a tiny shiny point at the head of the "contrail" like there would normally be, as the sun reflects off of the metal of a plane, because there was no plane, and what I was looking at, along with about 6 others now, was something other than a plane, or its contrail..

"A moving contrail; fixed in size, shape and consistency". so it was white, with a slightly transparent look to it and a blurred perimeter. I cannot judge the distance. after about 15 minutes it was out of site.

I saw a pulsating light , marrow white in color traveling north to south around 2300 hours

Yup, it's me again, ((name deleted)). Well, I was outside taking a break loking about the stars. Next thing I know, there was this pulsating light moving in a straighter north to south direction. It was a bit closer parallel to the west. I know it wasn't a satellite because they don't have lights. I also really don't believe it was a standard aircraft because they have lights other than white. they have red and/or blue lights. Furthermore, even IF they did have just a white light, it wouldn't pulsate nor would it be semi-dull, bone marrow white as such what I witnessed.

I know it seems crazy that I saw two sightings 23 hours apart, but I know what I saw.

There were three steady star blue lights in a triangular formation traveling from north to south before midnight

Being that the sky is very clear in Paradise, several nights a week I go outside look at the stars. But it's not necessarily the stars I'm looking at. I'm looking for moving objects. I've had an Interest in astronomy for at least 25 years.

I'm 37 now. Well anyway looking for moving objects all these nights finally paid off.

I was standing out there in the backyard looking up in the general northern direction.

It wasn't long when I saw three steady,star blue lights. They were in a triangular formation (figure 1.) traveling slowly to a slight south-east direction. light->o / fig. 1 /\ / \ light->o \ light->o

Humming sound outside--unlike any other I've heard around here.

I woke up around 0245, couldn't sleep so I went into living room to read for awhile. I heard a soft humming sound outside that had two long periods and one short period of duration. Unfortunately, I did not go out to look. Unfortunate because I understand a lady may have seen what I heard on the same night--tape played on Art Bell Sunday night. She was one ridge to the west in Paradise. We have had other instances of ufo here too. Had a bright square shaped light in the garden area a year ago--didn't go out to investigate it either--both my wife and I saw it.

1st sighted a bright white flashing lite about 6 times the size of the surrounding stars. A mile further observed a 2nd separate, independent lite. The 2nd lite split and became two lites moving together, with no sound I could hear. The 1st lite remained constant. Pulled over and stopped again, and the 2nd lites turned and became three lites in a row with the middle one flashing. It turned more and I saw a fourth lite creating a diamond shape. Then the object moved behind the hill I was parked by. I continued to drive up the mtn, and observed the 2nd lite occasionally through the trees. I stopped a third time on top of the mountain when I could see the 2nd lites again. It made a deep rumbling sound and was in a diamond shape with a darker blackness between the lites which blocked out the stars behind it. It moved to the south.

At 19:15, while driving N on Hwy 70 at the Hwy 191 exit to Paradise, I observed a flashing white lite, brighter and bigger (maybe 6 times bigger than the surrounding stars), in the sky above Paradise. I looked at the digital clock in the car. About one mile further, I saw a 2nd lite NE of the 1st. At first I thought it might have been a reflection in the windows, so I pulled over, stopped the engine, and rolled down the window. It was a dark clear cold nite. The 1st lite was still constant in the same place in the northern sky above Paradise. The 2nd lite split into two lites, fairly horizonal in the sky. There was no sound. I proceeded to drive NNE on Hwy 70, sighting both the 1st and 2nd lites the whole time, and turned W on Pentz Rd. Here, (4.8 miles from the Hwy 191 cutoff) I pulled over a second time, turned off the engine, viewed the 1st lite in the same place in the sky, now left of my position, constantly flashing on and off. The 2nd lite seemed to turn and the left lite split into two, making three lites in a row with the middle one flashing. It continued to turn, while hovering in the same place, and I saw a fourth lite creating a diamond shape, with the middle flashing lite of the first three slightly ahead of the other two. It was now 19:25, I was parked facing WNW and was viewing the lites by ducking my head a little and looking out and up of the passenger side front windowshield to the N. I held up my hand, and the four lites, if they were at the outside corners of an object, would make the object about as long as my thumb (maybe 1.5 inches). The object then moved behind the little hill I was parked beside. I continued W on Pentz Rd, nearly driving off the road to keep the object in site! Pentz Rd then turns and heads NE, up the mtn. I lost sight of both the 1st and 2nd lites at times as the road climbs the mtn. On top of the mtn on Pentz Rd, (at 6.2 miles from the Hwy 191 cutoff on Hwy 70) I again sighted the 2nd object. I stopped the car (third time), turned off the engine, and rolled down the window. The car was facing N, and the object was in the sky to the W of me traveling in a S direct! ion. Now I could hear the wind in the trees and another deeper rumbling sound that seemed to be coming from the object. It was about three inches wide in the sky and there was a darker blackness between the lites which blocked out the stars behind it. I viewed it for perhaps three minutes before it went behind the trees. It was now 19:40 and I continued on my way home to Magalia. On Jan. 9th, my husband and I traveled the route again at the same time as the sightings on Jan. 8th, and took the mileage readings. Unfortunately, there was a pea-soup fog in the valley, so at the first two places I stopped we could not view the sky.
