Saw a smooth, round, silver object (definitely not a rogue “balloon” or a drone) hovering above the highway.

As I was approaching the Central Avenue exit in San Rafael, I spotted a small, silver, perfectly round object moving slowly above the freeway (about 200-300 feet above the road). I did not see any propellers. It was smooth and very reflective.

About 20 bright lights floating inline

Observing about fleet of 20 bright lights floating inline from west to east (from ocean to in land) over Lucas Valley / Marinwood. Lights were a size of stars in the night sky, and the fleet of light was moving in sky with equal interval between each other, in very straight line like a military unit. But, by reaching some abstract and invisible point in sky they become disappearing one after another (not all at once). Unfortunately, a camera on Iphone 12 is too weak to make recording of those light in night sky.

UFO appears to consciously avoid being filmed from afar?

I was working outside on a deck job when I saw a crow chasing off a large hawk that I assumed was getting too close to its nest. It had been occurring over the course of several days, I'd look up and notice these two in some sort of acrobatic aerial dance, almost playful so I decided to capture some of it on my iPhone 13 camera. One day I saw the birds were doing their thing and moving closer to where I was working so I decided to film them. As I was filming I noticed a small bright glowing object moving slowly from right to left at the bottom of my screen. At that point I began to focus on it and after a second or two it paused and reversed direction I followed it and noticed it stopped again and switched back as I was adjusting to the switch and starting trying to lead it in the screen it switched again and by the time i noticed and panned back to try to locate it again, it had disappeared. The whole thing lasted about 16 seconds.

This is an additional picture to my previous report that is a more accurate size representation, original is over expanded.

As stated in my previous report, while building a deck on a residential property in San Rafael CA I had been noticing a crow chasing off a red tail hawk for several days, probably protecting it's nest and decided to film the birds and their ensuing mid air maneuvers while doing battle just overhead. So I just happened to have the cam rolling when I noticed a small white spec moving in the frame suddenly stop and reverse direction as if realizing it was within the frame and that I had just noticed it. As I swung the camera to try to follow it reversed again as if it would proceed on it's original course before I noticed it, and as it did that I also reversed and continued panning the camera in that direction waiting for it to emerge from behind a tree whose leaves were conveniently blocking the view, of course when it did not appear on the other side I quickly looked back to find it had vanished from the sky completely. This is a still frame from the video just before it reversed direction the first time. The whole video is about 24 seconds long with only about 16 seconds of actual siting time

On a bright moon lit night in California, three orange glowing objects were seen in the sky hovering, then ascending out of view.

At approximately 23:50, while exiting Highway 101, I noticed an object in the sky approximately 250-300 feet in the air over a shopping center across the street from my location. The object was slightly oval and was flickering orange. At first glance, I thought it was a light on a crane, until the object started to move. I then thought it might be a helicopter. I rolled down my window to hear it, however, the object made no noise. I kept the object in view as I continued my drive three blocks down the road to my house. When I exited my car, the object began to move towards my location and descended slightly in altitude.

I immediately went into my home and got my 14 year old son to come outside and see what I was looking at. As we both got outside, the object continued to hover over the intersection next to my home for about 30 seconds or so, then shot straight up in the air at an amazing velocity. The object continued to climb until it disappeared.

About 10-15 minutes later, I went outside and saw two more objects hovering at about the same location as the original object. These two objects appeared to be identical to the first one and maintained the same distance from each other at all times. Both my son and I took pictures of the objects and then as we began to discuss what we were seeing, both objects began the same maneuver that the first had done.

We estimate the size of the objects to be about the size of a small automobile. The objects flickered in the dark and had no other visible structure to them. It should be noted that the sky condition was slightly smoky from nearby wildfires and the moon was creating sufficient light to create ample light to see non-illuminated objects in the area clearly.

Pinpoint of light travels in even horizontal line

Saw a pinpoint of light travel horizontal across sky in my viewing direction of the Moon and Venus in the night sky. It appeared, traveled in a straight line horizontal direction,very fast,then disappeared. My estimate is 3 seconds viewtime. It could not have been an airplane, because it was a pinpoint of light very far away, and airplanes dont travel that fast. The light was constant and not flashing. It could not have been a shooting star because it did not change its density of light. It traveled horizontal, straight, even line, and shooting stars travel in a "falling, shooting" motion.

Large orange dark object seen over S.F. Bay

I was watching what started out as a pulsating orange light bobbing up and down and hovering in the same general area. After about 3 to 5 minutes of watching this light, a second light appeared real close on the right side. It now looked like a large black object hovering over the Bay near San Rafael.

I looked away for a couple seconds to check the time on my watch, and when I looked back the object was gone.

The time was 11:20 P.M. . The weather was crystal clear and cold and there was a lot of strange lights swarming in this area.

The sightings started again on 11-24 and 11-25 after the fire smoke filled skies finally cleared after 16 days of bad weather. It is amazing how nobody is ever outside when this activity is going on.

Giant ship seen over western New Mexico tonight.

Returned home from dropping my wife to work. Got out of the car and heard what sounded like a commercial airliner at normal altitude coming my direction. (from W to E) the clouds are split up a bit and I saw a normal blinking light, then I saw another set of lights to the North of it. They were not blinking. I noticed it was all one flying machine, like a large triangle. If it was a 30 or so thousand feet it had to be as big as a city. If it was lower it seems it would have to be much louder, but was still would have to be bigger than anything I know to exist. My dog also seemed scared of it. I haven't heard yet but I'm sure I am not the only one who saw this. There are several strange things going on here in this part of New Mexico, and I am willing to report it to someone directly. Not on this site.

I never thought I would be saying this but we are really not alone.

White, circular glow of giant light above San Rafael on Wednesday night (11/09/2016)

At approx. 9:30pm, Weds., Nov. 9, 2016, as I was driving from the Richmond Bridge, to connect with 101 North, I saw what at first thought was the moon. But, then realized that it was 1/4 the size of the moon. As I drove into San Rafael, on the freeway, I was very confused trying to figure out what the h this object was. It lit up the top half of the mountainside in San Rafael. It was a round glowing thing. As I got closer, it began to look like a white glowing hot air balloon, minus the top half, and it seemed like a person was hanging below it, air glider style. Could it have been a helicopter at night? But, I've seen a million helicopters at night, and it wasn't a helicopter. As I rounded the 90degree bend in the highway, and continued north, the object was then behind the mountain, and I could no longer see it. Just then I realized that the moon was almost directly above me, so it was definitely not the moon. The cars were all driving slowly, so other d! rivers surely saw this. Anybody else see this tonight?

Triangular and rectangular formations of hovering lights over Bay

I viewed a group of lights in various triangular or rectangular formations from 3 to 8 craft hovering in the same spot for a solid 20 to 25 minutes. The objects were suspended over the Bay between San Rafael and like Berkeley. The only movement of these objects was a slight change of shape from a perfect triangle to a more skinny V shaped triangle with 2 lights almost touching each other on one end-almost like a tweezer like formation.

Sometimes the lights would rotate around each other and change positions. There was 4 or 5 main objects in this formation. Unfortunately you pretty much needed to see this through binoculars because the lights were dimmed down pretty low but all of these 3 to 8 lights were definitely interacting with each other and for a solid 20 minutes this formation was visible from like 9:30 to around 10 P.M. I was getting tired of holding the binoculars watching this for so long. There was no flight path to these objects-the longest hovering formation I've seen. I was not gonna say anything but this is the 4th night in February I've seen the lights-the other nights being 2-04,2-06 and 2-15.

Cluster of lights in formation in San Rafael hillside.

I was watching a group of 5 to 10 objects in a straight line and at times in a triangular formation to the southeast of where I was standing. These lights were incredibly bright at times and incredibly low just barely above treetop level. 5 of these lights would dip down behind the treeline and come up again and remain basically stationary sometimes a bright yellow gold and other times really dimly lit but still visible.

The object on the far right was giving off a purple and blue light as well as yellowish green at times. I watched this object for a solid 20 minutes in basically the same spot hovering until it finally took off and started heading north very slow and silent. All of these lights were just kind of swarming around each other and gradually moved to the southeast. The 5 main objects were basically hovering from about 10 after 10 until about ten-thirty P.M.

While driving to work this morning I saw an object falling from the sky. It appeared to reflect light as it tumbled, leaving me to believe that it was not a meteor. I have seen many meteors as an avid astronomer, and this was not one.

UFO over San Rafael (Sorry I entered the wrong year in first report, please delete it)

On the evening of Jan. 3, 2015, my friend and I were driving to a neighborhood store and we saw a large “V” shaped pattern moving very fast in a straight line with no erratic movements.

It seemed to be high in the sky but large at the same time. It was red, then as it turned green it suddenly just vanished.

It was a clear night with no clouds in the sky.

It was approx. 6 to 6:15 I believe, and had just gotten dark. We are located in San Rafael, Ca.

It was not anything explainable. We both said, wow? What was that? When we got to the store, a man was standing on the sidewalk waiting for his pizza looking up at the sky. We asked him, did you see that and he said he did, but could not explain it.

I would say the time duration was 6-7 seconds.

We saw 5 glowing orange objects in the western sky above Mount Tamalpais on 07/18/14

Not long after sunset, I observed three glowing objects moving right to left slowly across the horizon. They were in the sky slightly south of Mount Tamalpais. This view includes a lot of air traffic flying north or south to Bay Area airports 24/7.

The " lights" were so unusual I told several neighbors to "come see something unusual". I was delighted when they began to make remarks like that without any prompting.

After three minutes, two of the lights rose out of sight. Then two more appeared from the original area and traveled horizontally as well. The third one disappeared and it seemed to split at the last moment. Finally, the fourth and fifth ones followed and I am certain some kind of split took place and they vanished after rising 30-45 degrees.

I walked out on my friend's deck. I looked in the sky and saw a very bright light. At first, I thought it was a star because it wasn't moving.

I continued looking at it because I'm a star gazer and it was extremely bright. I kept trying to figure out which star it might be.

Suddenly, it bagan to move. It flashed its lights off and then when it flashed back on, it was two seperate objects. It flew toward the house and then headed north-east. It was flashing multiple colors and was shaped like a triangle.

The triangle has colors flashing through it as if it were a lit-up, transparent, floating pyramid.

The objects flew very close to each other and the lights shifted on each at the very same time.

There was little noise but I did hear some sort of buzzing sound. I watched both objects fly away together exclaiming the entire time, "What the hell!"

Seven high altitude flashing lights over San Rafael

I was on my porch smoking a cigarette and looked up at what I thought was a star that was flashing repeatedly at a high rate. Its position was strait above. For a moment I thought I was looking at a pulsar before realizing that pulsars don't strobe as fast as the light I was observing. I went to my room mates door to show him what I was seeing. At that moment I observed another flashing light due west of the original light. My room mate came outside and was surprised at the sighting. He then brought my attention to the other five remaining lights that were also in a north western position in the sky from the original light I had spotted. The lights slowly moved north west, disappearing over the cloud cover that was drifting in from the coast. The whole sighting lasted about five minuets.

A formation of bright blinking lights heading up the Nike hill behind Margarita drive. Then once at top of hill they went up into the sky and formed some sort of formation and headed East. They were small blinking bright lights. I've never ever witnessed anything like this and called my neighbors to watch it disappear.

8 bright, star-like objects in formation in the night sky

Date: January 6, 2014 Time: 10:18-10:20pm PST Duration: approx. 2-3 minutes Location: 37°58’35”N, 122°29’34”W Direction of sighting: start = 315° NW; end 280°W Angle of elevation: estimated at 30° above horizon, constant Sky condition: near total cloud cover – cloud base not known – guestimate 10-20,000 feet Description: My wife and I were in our hot tub, and had been in it for approximately 15 minutes when I noticed I noticed three bright objects about the size and brightness of planets (or the ISS) in the night sky – blue-white in color, twinkling. We have lived at this address for seven years, and have had our hot tub almost as long, and have spend many hours looking up at the night sky here – we know what we’re looking at in the sky here.

At first I thought it was an airplane, as I only glimpsed them through branches of a tree on our property. We live on a flight path to SFO, so we get periodic commercial aviation traffic overhead – near enough to distinguish each wing, and the lights on them. This was entirely different. Two of the lights were moving rapidly in together, with a third one behind them. Distance between them was approximately 3-4full moons.

They were heading south, toward the edge of the trees on our property, by leaning over the south edge of our hot tub we could see them emerge from behind the trees. As they did, they joined up with another constellation of 7-10 similar objects that appeared to be stationary, at 280deg W. These objects were oriented in a backwards capital letter “L” pattern, with approximately 3 objects oriented horizontally, sloping upward to the south, and a vertical line of 3-4 more going up. They occupied a about 3 full moon’s worth of sky vertically, and maybe 2 horizontally. They appeared to me to be quite uniform in size and color, and were twinkling (or perhaps flashing rapidly).

At first I thought I was looking at an unusually bright (and severely compacted) version of the constellation Orion – that was the only thing I could think of that looks even remotely like this.

As my wife and I watched and tried to figure out what we were seeing, the group of objects slowly began to change shape and appeared to move toward the south, where they eventually dimmed – probably fading into the clouds. They still persisted dimly for some time – maybe another minute or two. We debated whether to go inside and grab a cell phone to take a picture, but this would not have been feasible in the low light conditions.

Not sure what this group of lights were?

On Dec 22, 2013 at approximately 1230 am weather conditions: wind calm from the north, barometer 30.12, visibility 10 mi, humidity 100%, temperature 37degrees, a waning gibbous moon. I had gone out to my washroom to retrieve a forgotten laundry load. Exiting the house to enter the laundry room, I glanced to the east ward sky and noticed a warm bright star close to the moon. I stopped to get bearings noticed it was in the constellation of Leo and the stars didn’t fit. Then I noticed 4 others brighten and gently bob in the sky. I thought at first that maybe this was an Iridium flare. So I ran back into the house and grabbed both cell phones and began videoing the spectacle. As I came out into the back yard the objects were moving slowly to the west towards the moon. I then noticed 5 new lights rising from the east through the Coma Bernice’s. For a total of 9 lights. They continued rising gently from the east in a westerly direction toward the moon. The first group of 4 winked out individually and at different times. The second group continued to rise, not in orbital arcs, but in a gentle bobbling. Unlike satellites, commercial planes or light aircraft. At about ten minutes after the first sighting, The second group winked out to the north east of the moon.

Checking the Heaven’s Above website, there were no satellites in the area at that time. I have realized that it is the winter solstice. And these could be Chinese sky lanterns released in a celebration of that.

I consider myself an amateur astronomer. I have seen many things in the sky. These I haven’t seen this before.

Strange horizontal formation of four to five lights with the remarkably bright gold colored orb the furthest to the right.

I am writing to report two highly strange phenomena I witnessed in the sky starting at approximately 9:40pm PST.

While cleaning my apartment I decided to take a phone call from a friend and went outside to sit on the steps that faced the street in front of my ground level apartment.

Tonight was unlike any other fall night except the sky was crystal clear and neighborhood dogs, both near and far, were both howling eerily and barking.

While talking on the phone and staring at the stars, I observed one tiny orb about the size of a distant star chasing another slightly larger tiny light against the backdrop of a cloudless star filled night sky.

Neither object light looked like aircraft. The points of light were relatively tiny in comparison to planes or other celestial bodies. In addition, the glow from the points of light were cconstant with no recognizable blinking patterns or variations in luminosity.

Given the relatively small specs of a light, they seemed to be higher up in the atmosphere and traveling faster than any recognizable aircraft I’ve ever seen.

Both lights were traveling from North to South at approximately the same speed with no change in distance between the two objects.

Of the two tiny lights, the one on the right trailing the one to the left disappeared abruptly. Shortly after the larger of the two disappeared as well. I told my friend I had just seen something strange. We quickly dismissed it and we went back to talking about our day.

Minutes later, at about 9:45pm PST, I was alarmed to see series or formation of 4-5 bright lights slowly rise from behind the silhouette of the wooded hillside in the distance. The string of 4-5 lights hovered silently without movement for about 35-40 minutes.

I observed the phenomenon from the corner of my residential suburban neighborhood. Confirming later with a compass, the horizontal string of lights was observed at approximately 240 degrees West/ Southwest and about 33 degrees above the horizon in relation to the zenith of the sky.

The light on the right of the horizontal 4-5 light pattern was remarkably brighter than anything I’d ever seen in the sky at night before in my life! Ever! It was a bright golden orb that did move and stayed locked in formation with the 4 other lights that were evenly spaced out in a horizontal pattern to the left. The lights did not blink, change shape, or alter in brightness. All four to five lights in the formation were larger than planets or starts appear in sky with the bight orange one being larger and brighter than anything I'd ever seen.

The glow from the light on the right was remarkably bright and unique in color and shape. The horizon behind the glowing gold light was a faint blue – similar to the way the night sky appears behind sports stadium lights.

The arrangement first appeared to resemble the top-floor of a tall large city skyscraper at night - only with a gold “search light” on the right corner.

I know for a fact there are no buildings on the distant wooded hillside. I could clearly see empty faint blue night sky as negative space above and below the string of bizarre static lights.

I observed the phenomenon from approximately 9:40pm to about 10:20pm PST. During this time the formation of lights did not move in direction, nor did they grow in size, change position, or alter their pattern in relation to each other.

I hung up the phone and took several photos with my iPhone 4G. I called several friends in the county to see if they could confirm the sighting but no one answered. I called my friend in Los Angeles back at which time I continued to discuss what I was witnessing.

With my friend on the phone I stopped a woman walking her dog crossed on the side walk in front of my apartment and pointed to the four lights inquiring if they seemed strange to her.

She looked just in time to see the bright orange light suddenly disappear, while the other 3-4 lights remained exactly where they were.

Maybe two seconds later, all three smaller light disappeared at once followed by a flash on the horizon. Suddenly and the whole sky went black as if someone had turned out the lights.

It was so abrupt that that the woman was spooked and grabbed her dog and trotted off in the direction she was headed.

I then called the San Rafael police to report the sighting. They referred me to the local Sheriffs department who then gave me the contact number for the National UFO center.

Attached are the series of photos taken with my iPhone 4 with no flash.

Moments later, two aircraft with blinking lights were seen flying over the hillside. Nothing has returned to the airspace since.

I am perplexed.

Noticed in distance red, white and blue lights on stationary rectangular object., which appeared triangular when we drove under it.

My husband and I were driving home from San Francisco, heading north on Hwy. 101 the evening of July 16, 2013. He noticed a still object in the dark sky and asked if I thought it was a helicopter.

Because he was driving I was able to look more closely. It appeared ahead of us and was elevated where a helicopter would fly, but it was completely stationary. It looked like a horizontal bar with red, white and blue blinking lights and was about the size of a small aircraft.

We drove directly under it and I opened our moon roof. This is when I noticed that from underneath; it was somewhat triangular in shape and had bright white lights on each corner.

We passed from underneath it and I continued to watch it, which was now behind us. From this angle it looked horizontal again, like a long rectangular bar.

I didn’t notice blue lights this time, but did see white and red blinking ones.

The object did not ever seem to move, and as we drove away it became less visible.

The entire episode lasted about 3 minutes. We were on Hwy 101 north of San Francisco between the exits of Terra Linda in San Rafael and Hamilton Field, Novato.

My husband and I decided to call 911 to report this unusual site. The dispatcher immediately connected us to the National UFO center.

I was sitting in my car with it running listening to the radio as I had just pulled up infront of my house when a sweeping striped light goes across the car and the radio reception disappeared the radio made a screeching noise then two flashes right after the two flashes two laser like beams shot acros the sky away from me then a final flash brighter and more orange in color than the first two. V ery startling, I tried to fallow whatever it was but the sky seamed untouched and by all means normal.

Light cluster hovers then moves across the sky, changing colors white, blue, green

My boyfriend and I were driving north on 101 from San Francisco to our exit in San Rafael. About 3 min before reaching our exit we both noticed a relatively large white light (compared to all the stars that were visible in the sky at the moment) hovering over the sky. My boyfriend had seen strange lights close Lagunitas, CA two times in the past 2 weeks. However, this was my first time seeing anything like this.

What seemed to be the one large white light split into three lights, like a cluster, and hovered in a random motion. Seconds later, the light began flashing blue, green, and then white again. The lights proceeded to head west across the sky in a rather accelerated speed. As they quickly moved west, they began to drop into the horizon. No known aircraft would go this fast across the sky and its movements did not resemble any craft I have ever seen.

By this time, we were nearing our exit in San Rafael. Our eyes were glued to these lights in disbelief. I then asked my boyfriend to hang a right (west) to follow the lights. Unfortunately, we drove west in hopes that we would see them, but they disappeared.

It all lasted 2 to 3 minutes. I would prefer to remain anonymous.

Still light object accelerates to right in night sky and disappears.

At approximately 10:15 PM, Thursday 8/27/09, I was star gazing in my back yard. I was looking at the Bid Dipper constellation, and a previously still and fainter star nearby began to move. The star like object made a short, slight awkward movement downwards, then accelerated about 5 inches to right in the sky according to my perspective. After accelerating very quickly to the right for a short moment, it disappeared from view. No flash or anything, just disappeared. The object appeared just like a star in the sky, white and twinkling. I am a recent college grad and interested in the ufo phenomenon. The object did accelerate in a way that is consistent with some other videos of lights moving I have seen. Slow, then very quick acceleration.

Strange blinking, saucer-like object spotted in San Rafael, CA; apprx. 7:30 PM Standard time

Thursday November 1, 2007 I was driving in San Rafael, California with my Fiancé South on 101(toward San Francisco) and I spotted what we believe to be a UFO. It looked exactly what you might see on TV or in the movies, a flying saucer.

It was very big, I’d say about the size of a full moon. It had colorful (blue and red to be sure) lights blinking from the bottom. Then we stopped the car on the side of the road, I was scared and shocked, I wanted someone else (besides us) to see it so, I ran out of the car and asked a man walking if he’d seen it. He said no so I had him follow me to a place it where it was very clear to see and asked him “Do you see that thing? It is a flying saucer” and he replied “Yes, I see it” he didn’t seem as shocked as I was. It appeared to be hovering back and fourth, but not really moving too much. Then I got scared and told my fiancé to drive but while we were driving I kept my eyes on it until it was hidden behind a mountain. Then about 40 seconds later when we passed the mountain and it was in sight again, I saw it was (had turned into) a blimp. The weird thing is that it looked nothing like what I’d just seen. When I got a better look at the blimp it read “FOR THE ‘IF’ IN LIFE”. I have never seen anything like that before but-I really do believe that the thing I saw was not normal.

Triangular craft seen over San Rafael, CA around 11pm Sunday night

My girlfriend "J" and I were watching the meteor shower tonight on our rooftop patio in downtown San Rafael. We're about 20 miles north of San Francisco and it's a fairly urban area, so light pollution is fairly high. There was no moon tonight, however, so we had a better view of the stars than usual.

We were stretched out on two lounge chairs, with a blanket over us. We weren't under the influence of any drugs, though I had finished about half a pint of Guinness. I had a mini mag lite flashlight with me, and my binoculars. We weren't seeing many meteorites, so out of boredom I had been swinging the flashlight beam around into the sky in big sweeps.

I got up to take a leak, and I got a few steps away when J started yelling "UFO! UFO!" I started looking up and around and a couple seconds later I spotted a dark triangular shape with rounded corners moving quickly across the sky, from approximately North to South, more or less right above us. It had a small red circle in each corner, and was completely silent. I said "hand me the binoculars! hand me the binoculars!" but was too dumbstruck to look away to grab them, even though J was holding them out to me (her eyes also locked on the triangle). I watched it for about 4 or 5 seconds until it disappeared in the haze of light pollution to the south.

As far as our backgrounds, we are both in our early thirties, I work at a video game studio and she is an independent web designer. I'm pretty agnostic when it comes to inexplicable phenomena, but pretty much rule out interstellar travel, aliens walking among us, etc etc. But this crazy thing tonight was definitely, definitely, definitely nothing like anything I've ever seen before. We are both pretty stunned right now.

Bright white, headlight beam of light, close to SF Bay in San Rafael, north of SR/Richmond Bridge

At about 9:10 PM I was watching TV on my recliner and saw a large beam of white light, like the beam of car headlight, on the uninhabited ridge about ½ mile from the ridge where I live, close to SF Bay. I faced East, toward SF Bay, just north of the San Rafael/Richmond bridge.

I scrambled off the recliner to the patio door and saw the circular beam of light slowly, steadily climb (like an airplane) in the sky; it was not on the ground. There is a small airfield near here and I just thought it was an airplane with a really, really big beam. There was no way it could be reflected light of any kind. I watched it rise for about 2 minutes; it was really slow.

Then, of a sudden, it converted from a large circular beam of light and became what looked like the lights of a regular aircraft. It moved slowly, then disappeared for a second or two and reappeared lower and three feet away for 2 seconds, then appeared where it had been. It did this three times, then broke into another set of plane lights which, slowly, steadily flew to the northeast. The original light slowly gained in altitude and disappeared to the south, toward the SR/Richmond Bridge.

This is the third incident, much less spectacular than the first, I have witnessed, all in the same place. So, I decided to report it (and the other incidents, as well).

Bright blue object races across whole sky.

I was driving home from work on Monday night at about 9:35 PM PST. I’m majoring in Astronomy and usually gaze at the stars as I drive home during the dark stretches. On Monday night this was the case. Through the front windshield a BRIGHT blue object raced across the sky from East to West at amazing speeds. Keep in mind I’m familiar with objects in the sky. This object was blue, It took only 6-10 seconds to cover the WHOLE sky, 180 degrees. It was brighter than any star in the sky, It was too slow to be any debris entering the atmosphere, the color also supports this. It was way to fast to be any earth made aircraft of any kind. Its path was direct and its brightness did not fade as it reached the horizon. I have seen many object in the sky including satellites that I have manually tracked with my telescope. This object was absolutely not a satellite. I hope others saw this as well.

Mysterious aircraft in the bay area.

Two friends of mine and myself were driving home going north on highway 101 coming from San Francisco.

It wasn't until we were near or passing through San Rafael that I spotted a light in the sky. Thinking it was nothing more than a helicopter or a plane I didn't pay too much attention to it. The more we drove up north I started to notice it was still in the same spot, so I thought "ok, it must be a star, because its pretty bright and it ain't moving". Then finally when we got closer and closer, I started to noticed it wasn't even far off in space but just a few ways up in the sky. I was in the passenger seat so I witnessed this more than my friend did who was driving. Finally when I got a close look at it I notice there were two shining lights in front of the object and two red lights on each side. I could barely make out the shape of this mysterious craft which was rectangular. It didn't hit me that this was more than an airplane or a star when we actually drove underneath it and it was obvious that it was staying completely still and only a few hundred feet up in the air. But mostly I want to know if anyone else has repoted anything similar and in this area on that very same night and time.

Winessed several "white dots" in the sky

The "dots" seemed to appear as if they were being laid down by unseen planes across, what started out to be a mostly clear sky.

These were not contrails. In fact, that is one of the important points I would want to make about this. There were several other planes in the sky that day, and they ALL made contrails. This object, or formation of jets, made these white "balls" instead.

They would appear the way an image can be "swiped" onto a screen with a special effect. Each group of rows were confined within in a rectangle-shaped area.

Although it is possible to have jets sky-write with a similar teqhnique, the width of the rows and the fact that we could not see any planes at all makes me doubt it. Even though we could see all the other planes in the sky, including high altitude ones, which you could at least make out the mass of the body, i.e., darker area in the front of it's contrail, we could never locate the objects that were responsible, with the naked eye. Also, this didn't take place in a small corner of the sky, it covered miles in several directions...back and forth several times before they disappeard.

I waited and watched for two more days, but it has been raining here, ever since we saw it.

At approximately 9:40 pm waiting for Mars to rise high enough in the sky to observe easily with telescope and binoculars. I was observing the star Vega in the constellation of Lyra with a Meade refracting telescope and binoculars with a friend. When she commented that she had seen an faint blue flashing object in the binoculars just to the east of Vega. Passing the binoculars to me I panned slightly to the east of Vega and sure enough picked up a faint irregular flashing object on a northeastern heading. I was able to track the object for approximately 4 minutes. In that time it traversed possibly 15 degrees of the visible sky. At that point I lost the object from the field of view of the binoculars and wasn't able to pick it up again. This may have been one of the Cosmos Rocket (satellites/ space debris)

Triangular Object Hovers Over Marin County

While driving north last night on CA Hwy 101, my companion and I noticed an object in the sky with very unusual lights on it. The craft was larger than an a commercial airliner, flying at a low altitude and did not appear to be moving. It was hovering just west of the highway, near a business park. There was a fair amount of cloud cover in the sky, but pretty bright due to the city lights.

As we neared the object we were able to look up at it and see it in silhouette against the clouds. The object was a perfect triangle. My companion pulled off to the side of the road and we got out to the car to look at it. Several other motorists also stopped to see it.

The object had white and yellow lighting -- initially these lights were blinking and running along the back side of the triangle only. After watching the object for approximately 20 more seconds it began to move slowly southward toward San Francisco, and as it did, all three sides of the craft lit up. These lights were blinking and then moving in a sort of pattern around the edge of the craft.

Approximately 5 seconds after it started moving, the craft disappeared (in an area where it still should have been completely visible and free of the clouds).

A light similar to Venus increasing in intensity and velocity and then disappearing East into the night.

I was explaining the experiences I've been having over the past three weeks to my girlfriend and hoping I would have the opportunity to show her first hand what I've been seeing. I began pointing out what various things look like in the sky. . . planes, satalites, planets, etc, when in the northern sky I saw the familiar light. It kind of looked like a planet, venus is in the southern sky right now and very beautiful, but it got much brighter. It didn't necessarily flash, but it did increase in light intensity. It then began to move in a Easternly direction and began to fade in light intensity.

The more I look up at night between 9:30-12:00 the more I'm seeing this same phenomena. I've seen it in WA, CA and WI where I can see enough stars to have a reference point. Each time they look similar to stars, but increase and decrese in light intensity, change velocity and at times stop or curve in direction. Anyone have any other ideas as to what this may be?

Solid object with 3 lights floats overhead, blocking out sky and stars in Marin Co., Ca.

As I walked out of my house I was looking up at the night sky, very aware of the lack of air traffic since 9/11. Previous to then the sky was pretty busy since we live under flight paths for the Oakland airport. I live near town about .2 mi. from dowtown lights, so the sky is not extremely black. I noticed a line of different colored lights, one white, one red, and one amber. As I watched them float across my path at approx 60-70 degrees line of sight angle, from where I was standing, I realized that the lights were disappearing as it was approaching directly overhead and that a section of the sky and stars were being blocked out immediately behind the line of lights, It was as if the original lights I saw were on the top and front of some solid object and when it floated by my view of the lights was obstructed as well as the sky. The patch of darkness behind this line of lights was approx.

4" x 4" at arm's length. I could not really discern any specific shape but I want to say triangle. There was absolutely no sound even though it appeared to be quite close and it gave the impression it was floating. Since I don't know how far away it actually was I don't know how fast it was going but it travelled across approx. 110 degrees of arc above me until I lost the blackness in the night sky. I kept looking for flashing strobes or red and green wing lights but to no avail. I had wondered if stealth fighters were flying around patrolling the skies around us after such an event on 9/11, but unless they had all their traditional flying lights off and they can fly without sound, I don't know what it was.

I am a very objective, aware and observant 53 yr old electrical design engineer. I do ocasionally listen to Art B. and Jeff R. but unlike many others, do not want to experience these things. I don't believe they are friendly.

possible genuine paradoxical dream (unexplained event) i know it sounds dumb.

i dont believe in this stuff first off.

i had lots of dejavu as a kid and began to experiment resulting in my belief that i may have(emphasis on may)have experienced some form of a genuine quantum paradox event. or received a paradoxical message. makes me sound like a wack job or a pranker.

i could write a book on it. wrote a neuroscientist in 2015 or so.

the dream was only part 1 really part 2 is that i actually spent about an hour google image searching for the buildings i saw in the dream a few days before 9/11. i came close to calling some security offices if i saw the building for sure and recognized it but i didnt see any pictures that matched the angle and sunlight.

i cant really explain very well dreams are already hard to explain and usually remember but this one was burned into my brain, was strange like watching a video of a dream you had. thats the level of conscious memory i had of it after waking up and for a couple days afterwards.

i saw an airplane approach the closer of 2 large, apparently largely glass and apparently matching square or rectangle skyscrapers and not enough room/time to avoid a collision.

was clear sunny and i was floating or standing on something must have been around 70 stories up looking at the top 30 or so stories of the buildings, couldnt see anything but sky, 2 buildings and a passenger airliner doing a pretty shallow dive, whatever its called when the nose is only a little pointed down. was no smoke or anything from a previous collision, i realized later.

the plane never actually hit it was sorta skipping back and forth like a skipping film reel or a paper flipbook animation.

approximately 1 week later was the september 11th attacks on the trade centers. scared the crap outta me not because there was a major terrorist attack but i was sure that it proved to me that some sort of time travel was/is possible or i was having strokes or major memory issues but i dont think that was the case.

i dont really expect anyone to believe me i wouldnt believe myself if i hadnt experienced it.

i heard my own voice telling me "this is important do not forget this" which just makes it sound like this is a prank.

couple things that were way too spot on and like a cheap sci fi movie.

at the start of the dream i saw a translucent image of the naked silhouette women from the opening credits of the modern outer limits tv show.one of my favorite shows.

i know it sounds like bull crap prank but with recent world events has made me more and more afraid it was a message of some kind.

i want some record in case something on a world changing scale happens anytime soon. something like right out of a B movie script.

if it was just a crazy coincidental dream then good if not, gonna have some interesting science experiments to read about.

ive tried reading some neuroscience and consciousness theory papers.

closest thing ive heard of to this was a man in the 1970's i think that called the airport when he had a dream of a plane crash in a dream and it came true sorta speak.

Green light came down in the western horizon

My friend and I were driving home and we both saw an intense green light fall overhead to behind a hill in front of us. It had no tail. It took three full seconds to drop down below a hill that was in front of us (which seemed very slow). I've seen many shooting stars and meteors and this was nothing like that. It had no tail, was not traveling that fast, and had a sharp intensity of color.

Very bright high flying Orange Triangle over San Francisco during Leonid Meteor shower

I was watching the Leonid Meteor shower and had been observing it comfortably and consistantly for several hours. The shower had not been very strong until approximately 02:00 in our area, the cloud cover was minimal, and I was able to identify many constellations, paying particular attention to the East where the news reports said to look for the shower to develope. Very clearly on the East horizon there appeared a very high and extremely bright orange light surrounded by a hazy triangular or slightly arrowhead shape that crossed slowly across the sky directly overhead. I've seen the shuttle re-entry overhead at night when told to look for it and it was similar in approximate altitude/size/shape but not in color. The shuttle appeared pinkish. The object simply SLOWLY crossed overhead horizon to horizon EAST TO WEST DIRECTLY OVERHEAD. It took approximately 30 seconds. THE REST OF THE EVENTS THAT NIGHT WERE IN NO WAY SIMILAR. I observed scores if not hundreds of extemely fast moving white and yellowish/white streaks moving almost entirely in the opposite direction, West to East. These seemed to be the typical meteroites that I have observed for years.

BEGIN ADDENDUM:

Date revision requested: Hard evidence of actual date of event received by me from my Bank. I requested copy of a check that I had written to the supermarket minutes after the sighting and right before they closed at 23:00. Check confirmed: 9/30/99 22:58:54 - what makes this unusual are several issues. (read on.....)

I am adding this addendum to my original report to amend the sighting date by 24 hours (from 10/01/99 to 9/30/99). The supporting evidence was photocopied to me by my Bank at my request, and features the critical "time/date stamped" verification on my personal check which I wrote at the grocery market immediately following this sighting event. Of additional importance: it is extremely rare that I ever shop for anything on a week night. Days at work during ongoing projects are commonly 15 hour work days; weeknight shopping is usually out of the question! Otherwise, I have already submitted my original report along with drawings and maps.

Original observation of bright lights of craft 20-25 miles away; lost sight of craft for awhile as I meandered through hills on way home; sighted craft again as I descended into Fairfield; huge (!) craft hovered motionless 800 to 1000 feet above major highway as if WANTING to be seen. I stopped at side of highway to observe and although hundreds of other cars passed by this thing also, I seemed to have been the only one willing to stop.Odd! Fascinating! Scarey! Astounded to hear on Art Bell program of 1/21/00 that some police had seen similar object. This thing is huge...several football fields in size.

On or about October 1, 1999 I was just finishing up at a job site in San Rafael, California. At approximately 10:00 pm I was heading home to Fairfield which is about a 45 minute drive eastbound across Highway 37 through Vallejo and then northbound on Highway 80. Travis Air Force Base is about 5 miles east of Fairfield. The whole trip is about 30 miles. I am a professional Account Manager/ Project Manager with a bachelors degree in Design; I have also spent about 10 years as a flight attendant. I know what various aircraft look like and what the typical lights on aircraft look like even from a distance. My vision is extremely good and I am a well balanced individual. Still, the events I am about to share always puts one on the defensive...trying to put all this into some perspective is difficult because I have no point of perspective from which to start!! I originally observed what I thought was a "single" very bright light far off in the distance at a position of about 10:00 o'clock and 30 degrees above the horizon (at 22:00 hours)during my drive home from an ongoing project. I had made this same trip at night multiple times before during the previous week and had never seen such a thing in the sky. The weather was clear as a bell with no clouds at all. The brightness of the light and the seeming motionlessness of it really caught my eye. It definitely registered as "odd" to me. The area where I was driving (east on Hwy 37)is not lit. It is a long, flat stretch of highway single lane which crosses a marsh land. There were not many cars on this particular part of my drive. I had nothing better to do than watch this thing and the road. I began to wonder: #1 about how far away this thing was and #2 why I could percieve no movement. I speculated that it must be moving directly toward me OR hovering in one place. I deduced, however, that it probably was not a helicopter because it sitting was TOO still in the sky. As I drove on, I was still many miles from home. The single bright light slowly shifted on its axis toward me and became two bright lights. Combined, these lights were definitely a "show stopper"! The brightness, the distance and the motionless of this held my curiosity. Suddenly, as soon as this "thing" had rotated towards my position so that I could see its two lights, it also started a "strobing" effect with one of it two lights (the right one). I then knew that this was something I had never seen before and that it was definitely not a usual thing. Traffic and terrain took my attention away from this object at this time. There were some small hills to pay attention to and quickly I lost track of this object. I had actually forgotten about it as I traveled through Vallejo and up into the hills onto Highway 80 east. There are some massive foothills I travel through at this juntion of highways 37 and 80. Dropping down into the Fairfield area is quite a site once you punch through the blackness of these hills. As I came into site of Fairfield, I could not believe my eyes. Furthermore, if I had not seen this thing from such a distance away, I am not certain that my eye could have picked it out from all the other city lights and recognized it for where it was and that it was what I had seen before. I have been a resident of Fairfield for 20 years; I know the developed and undeveloped areas; I have driven this stretch of highway thousands of times and this was definitely out of the norm. At this point in time because of the elevation of the hill I was now driving down, I was higher up (!) than this craft which hovered motionless down in the valley. I was looking down on it (spellbound) and approaching it fast. As this craft sat motionless over a vast dark barren area just to the side of the highway, there was no mistaking it's presence. It was RIGHT BESIDE the highway as if it were taking a scenic tour and WANTING to be seen. Furthermore, it was so low that as I passed it, I layed my head on my steering wheel to get a look at the underside. I have no brains for math, but I am certain that one could compute the actual feet above the ground with some simple geometric calcs. As I came down the hill, a CHP (California Highway Patrol) car came by me at a high rate of speed. I thought at that time that at least HE had also seen this thing and was also going to be a witness. I do not, however, know where he went. I leveled out onto the flat part of the road, I kept trying to maintain my speed, watch the craft, wonder if anyone else was seeing this event, and find a spot to pull off on the shoulder to get a better look. As I passed under and beside this craft, this is what I saw: a craft the size of at least three football fields long, triangular shaped with lights all around, two bright lights in front, and shapes underneath (2 circles and 2 straight lines beside each other)the craft which were backlit with light seemingly "seeping" from inside the craft. As I struggled to comprehend what I was seeing and trying to find a safe place to get over and stop, I still couldn't fathom why, with all the cars around me, there weren't 30 accidents or 30 people pulling over to get a better look. Either they didn't realize what was just above their heads because of other lights and traffic around them OR they were as terrified as I was. But I stopped. I pulled over off Highway 80 right beside the Inn America motel. As I got out of my car and stood in front of it, the craft had already started to move slowly across the highway towards my location and headed in the direction of Travis AFB. I called Travis AFB about a week later to ask if they had had any reports of any strange events. They said they were unaware of any of these events. Additionally, I did call the local newspaper and they had no reports of anything. Last but not least, I was driving home a different route (Hwy 680 west which also hooks into 80 north) and I noticed some very bright lights up in the hills to my left on two successive nights soon after this major sighting (dates unknown). I did not put these events together at the time, but I do remember thinking "gosh what in the heck was built up in those hills so quickly. That's alot of light for the middle of nowhere". I have never seen those lights again. I do alot of driving late at night along both these routes commuting from San Francisco to Fairfield and this was one STRANGE but exciting event!! I saw 7 ets up close and went aboard their craft

In a parking lot of a shopping center at about 3am I saw about 7 ets that looked like et from the movie “ET THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL”. The next thing I knew it was daylight so that means I LOST TIME. About 2 years later I had a dream IN 3 dimensions where I saw one of them but he had a flap on top of his head. Then I remembered being on their craft. I believe that they took my DNA and made a hybrid and that is who was in my dream.

Sister and family see huge UFO at marin county civic center

Previously I reported on a huge UFO at the Marin County civic center when I was driving into the College of Marin. MY sister and her two kids years later also saw a huge UFO just above hwy 101 at the marin county civic center. The year of the sighting is based on best guess on my part recalling what she said. On a side road above the hwy my sister was driving along when she was amazed to see a huge UFO below her hovring just over the hwy with traffic passing under it and no one appearing to notice the craft.

She atopped the car and got out to look at it and could have easily bounced a tennis ball off of it. The craft was making faint humming noise but no one else appeared to notice it. As she and her kids watched black helicopters came over the hill and they chased the UFO around in ghe air over head above San Rafael.

Finally the UFO took off flying north with the helicopters after it. No one else still seemed to see the UFO. Looking down on the hwy! traffic my sister thought what terrible fools they all were Years later black helicopters were involved in an attack on my sister

About the same time coming home late at night to my home in the deep woods I was surprized to hear deep heavy growls of a large animal in the dark. I pulled my legally carried firearm and a dog whistle begain to blow recalling the animal. The next night this same scenario was repeated with a dog whistle again calling off the large animal growling in the dark Its a dangerous game to play
