Craft seen by two men on a cabin deck, no noise and a quick takeoff.

My boyfriend and a client were on the deck of my cabin (I was unfortunately inside). They reported seeing a triangular craft that glowed white with a red light below. It made no noise and had no blinking lights, eliminating the possibility of it being a plane or helicopter. It moved slowly at first and then paused. The red light pivoted toward the deck and the craft then took off at a fast rate of speed straight up into the sky. No trail or residue.

Unusual fireball seen going across the sky

On the night of 17 Jan 2012, I was outside, opening an outdoor faucet as it was to be below freezing. While walking back to my house, I looked up and noticed a strange fireball going from Southeast to Northwest. It was strange in that it was bluish-white, unlike normal meteors one sees in a meteor shower, or a regular fireball. The object was about the size of a asprin tablet held at arm's length, and the fireball itself was egg-shaped. The trail was much, much longer than a normal fireball, and had the same color as the object itself. It crossed the sky in about one minute, and did not fade or otherwise lose shape or color as it crossed the sky, only doing so when it was over the NW horizon. As if it was going from point A to point B.

Silver triangle shape - Silent

I hesitated to report this, as we only saw this for a short time. We live in the Sierra Mountains about 4,200' elevation. Sitting at the table and looking due south thru a huge window, we saw a long silver triangle (jet or plane [?]) close at a low elevation. What is unusual is we live under a flight plan for Fresno - Las Vegas & back. These go north of our home. This craft appeared to be 1 mile or closer and low, almost equal with our elevation. At most I estimate it might have been 5,000'. It was headed west and when it tilted it was totally sleek from pointed nose to the tail which was completely straight across. No wings, just a very long thin triange shape. We ran to the west deck & couldn't see it anymore. Did our eyes deceive us? No noise.

Possible fighter jet, w/no markings, but no noise.

White Star Object over the Sierra Mountains

Sitting outside, my wife got excited and pointed my attention to what appeared to be a slow moving white light star. "What's that?" I looked and saw this object moving slow (to the east of us) over the Sierra Mountains from the north towards the south.

Using our roofline as some reference, we saw it at about the center of the roof, and perhaps on an angle of 4' above the roof from my line of sight. I stood up to watch, while she ran thru the house, out front to the car, and had time to get the carmera and take a few pictures. It made no noise and wasn't close to us or the ground. Finally it passed the southern roof line and turned southeast, instantly loosing its bright star appearance. Next I saw a red dot as it disppeared into the black sky. It had no exhaust trails. I checked the time and it was 9:11 p.m. My wife had goosebumps and was very excited. I estimate it took about 3 minutes to travel 30' feet of the roofline, so it must have been at least few miles away.

Bright white light seen traveling N to S for 1-2 min., with apparent fighters in area immediately afterwards.

I was outside taking out the trash and as I was going back inside the house, I looked up in the sky and noticed a bright white light about 2-3 times brighter than a star, moving across the sky from North to South. First noticed when it was straight up (90 deg.). Object moved slower than a jet at cruising speed, but faster than a piston- or turboprop-powered aircraft. Color was very white. No sound. Object lost to view due to ground lights interfering with view as it moved to the south. Immediately afterwards two jet aircraft were seen (and heard) moving in formation from NW to SE. From speed and formation, they appeared to be fighters. (Note: nearest base for fighters is Fresno ANGB,the 144th Fighter Wing with F-16s) I am a future USN officer, and am familiar with aircraft day and night, as I live in the traffic pattern for Fresno-Yosemite IAP.

Saucer w/ navy blue lights

This UFO encounter occurred on November 30th, 2003 at 11:53pm on 168 hwy in Auberry, CA. I was following my boyfriend because we were on our way back home to the Bay Area from the Thanksgiving weekend.

My boyfriend and I were in two seperate cars traveling on 168 hwy about 60/70 mph. About mile and a half before that "Sierra National Forest" sign came up I had seen this beautiful navy blue light and a saucer shaped "object" that came above from the mountains, flying couple feet from front my car and couple feet behind my boyfriend car.

When I first saw this beatiful navy blue light, I thought it was a shooting star. But then, instead of going straight as it suppose to go, it came so close to my car that I thought we were going to collide with eachother.

When we stopped at a gas station to get gas in Madera, CA., I had asked my boyfriend if he seen this blue light too? and he said, "Yes." I told him that it was a UFO, but he insisted that it was a helicopter patroling Auberry and Shaver Lake, CA area flashing it's lights so they could see all the cars going up and down the hills of 168 hwy. But, I didn't buy what my boyfriend had to say because where we were driving was totally dark, no lights on 168 and I didn't hear anything. I only saw this extraodinary object.

My only question is, "What was that object that I saw along with those navy blue light? It only lasted for about 3 to 5 seconds. The object was so fast, it disappeared down the cliff. I also want to know if anyone else seen this?
