20 orbs appearing out of the sky and disappearing slowly above trees

On new years 2018 at around 12 am myself and my husband went outside to bang pots and pans for new years. As we were looking above the trees and houses we begin to see a white light appear out of the sky and then slowly disappear behind the trees. Then there were two more and they slowly appeared and they flew slowly and then disappeared behind the treess. 20 or so white circle dots of light kept coming into our atmosphere and then slowly would disappear behind the trees.

I believe they were looking at the fireworks that were exploding all over because of the new year celebration.

There were no blinking red or white lights. The string was farther east than I could see so I am not sure how many there were total.

30 approx. silver balls creating formations in the sky before vanishing

My wife and two sons were in our backyard. From the side yard, my wife yelled for me and one of my sons to come look at what she was seeing. She was staring up into the sky. I walked up beside her and saw approximately 30 silver balls in the sky. When I first saw them, most of them were in a triangle shape with the remaining balls (around 7), hovering around the formation at varying distances. They moved out of formation and would come close to each other and then move away again. Around 10 came into a triangle formation again, but exited the formation only about 2 or 3 minutes later. After they exited the formation, they appeared to group together with some of them vanishing while others either stayed close to the same place and others flying around in no discernible pattern. They primarily maintained the same altitude. We watched them for around 15 minutes before we went inside with our sons. My wife was afraid of what they might be or what they might do. ! I came back out around 30 minutes later but they were all gone.

A star like object stagnant with a sudden light speed movement a little ways away.

It was a cold and windy night, around 10:00, me and my friends were watching TV. Out of the corner of my eye I see out of the window a giant blob in the sky that looked the size of a planet, but had the blinking properties of a star. The more that I looked at that, the more it became a mystery to my mind. Since it was very windy, we thought that maybe it was a few tree branches making it blink that much, so my friend went outside to see if it was the branches. He comes back and reports that it was not the branches and that it was just like that. He starts speculating that it was something different, such as a drone or a satellite. We already ruled out the option of a plane since it was stagnant in the dark moonless sky. Soon after we ruled out a satellite since satellites are orbiting the Earth, and just like the plane’s reason, it wasn’t moving at all. Even more curiously, it just moved faster than my eyes could see to the right. One minute it was in perfec! t view out of the window, then the next you had to be outside to see it. It was still blinking, and had the same properties as it did before. I don’t know why aliens like cows so much, but I have seen stuff on the cow mutilations that take place around where I live, and to make things scarier, cows were/are on the property. I had never put in much thought to aliens, but after that night I have been a firm believer.

My brother and I were hanging out with a friend of ours. It was late at night and he was bringing us home. After he let us out we were walking to our house. The ground lit up as if a purple firework had been shot off in the sky but no sound to follow. We immediately looked behind us and up. I saw something I have never seen before or have since, it looked like something out of Science Fiction movie/novel. A gaseous purple orb pulsating in the sky. It resembled a mushroom cloud but mirrored on both ends so they looked the same. It was pulsating in and out. Back and fourth. Emitting a bright Purple light everywhere. It seemed to have a core in the middle that was a bright pink. It had these rings and they were moving all throughout and around the orb. Then it disintegrated into nothing. My brother and I looked at each other with complete astonishment. The whole incident was about 10 seconds in total. We live in a Colorado mountain town at an elevation just over 7,000 feet. It was a clear night.

Lights traveling across sky, disappear suddenly.

We took our dog out for his evening stroll and saw a bright light moving rapidly across the sky, flying from the WNW toward the ESE. At first we thought it might be the space station but it was moving very quickly and silently, was in the wrong location and moving in the wrong direction. Then, it disappeared completely. There were no clouds in the sky. We continued walking and then noticed another light, just as bright, just as silent, following in the same path across the sky. We stopped to watch it--and it disappeared at approximately the same place the first one did. Several high altitude jets went by during the time we were out, and we watched them to ensure that we had seen something different. The planes had the traditional flashing lights and sound, so we are certain these lights were not planes.

Smaller blinking red object to my left of the bright white light with a round red ball like object following below

October 18, 2013 Approximately 7:15pm;

While traveling west in the Stanislaus National forest I observed a bright light in the sky with what appeared a small “ball-like” reddish colored orb traveling a small distance directly below it on the same trajectory.

To the right of these two objects, a farther distance away was a blinking light, which at first I thought a plane but it was traveling in conjunction with the other two objects. This group traveled above and to the sides of me for approximately 25 miles, keeping a distance up in the sky but close enough about the same distance that a small plane would be in the sky.

When I changed my course and stopped for approximately 15 minutes at a store, the group was still in the sky when I came back out. I lost sight of it when I traveled into the valley; the traffic had increased and the sky was no longer bright as in the mountains.

I had sight of, and it appeared it had followed my course for approximately 45 minutes.

Orange oval object rapidly moving from north to south until it faded from view.

Around 10:30PM on 06/03/13, looking east over our house with Jupiter in view. I spotted an orange object moving approximately south very rapidly; it passed just a short distance over Jupiter. I would compare its apparent speed to that of a low flying jet fighter except it was completely silent. The object was bigger than a point of light and was not symmetrical; it seemed to have a longer dimension perpendicular to the direction of flight.

The object continued south and seemed to curve toward the southeast as it gradually faded from view as it approached the horizon. I would estimate total time it was in view at around 15 seconds. My best guess is that it could have been a meteor passing through the atmosphere more or less parallel to the Earth's surface although it did not leave a vapor trail.

What makes me doubt that the object is a fireball is that about 2 or 3 minutes after, I saw a satellite on the same path moving south to north and passing right above Jupiter. Then a couple minutes later, I saw another satellite again on the same path going from north to south and also passing right above Jupiter. That seems like too much coincidence for me to come to terms with.

cigar shaped object with bright gold lights hoovering 20 feet above almond orchards then disappered

On approximately 9-23-09 my son and I were watching a club from modesto fly model airplanes that had lights on them. At about 10:30 pm,as we packed up to leave we noticed a bright colored gold object in the distance. We thought that it was another model airplane so we decided to drive closer to it and watch it. As we headed closer to the origin we could see that it was not a model airplane. It was cigar in shape and hoovered approximately 20 feet above the almond orchards. We were not the only ones that saw it. We exited on the Hammet Ave exit and there were plenty of other cars on the overpass that were braking to watch these strange lights. We then decided to chase it down. This is an area filled with nothing but almond orchards. It took us awhile but we finally made it to the general area. It hoovered there in the middle of the almond orchard approximately a 1/2 mile away from us . We turned our head for 3 seconds and the object was gone.

Bright light with no sound passed above us

We were laying around a camp fire just northwest of salida when my buddy pointed something up at the sky.When I looked up I saw a bright light which looked like venus during sunset, or sunrise moving across the sky. My first thought is to look for the typical signs of an airplane. Flashing lights, and the typical sounds you hear when a plane is flying overhead. Well none of these were there and as this light passed over us there were three other lights behined this that were i guess you could call it sparkling. Again there was no noise. All of a sudden these lights were gone as soon a they appeared. About a minute later an actual airplane flew over with all signs of an airplain. Strobe lights and the sounds of the engiune. Pretty much confirming what we saw before that was not normal.

We were heading south on I-5 about 7:14 pm when we saw what looked like a VERY fast car on an overpass ahead of us, but there was no overpass, then we noticed it was moving very, very fast and headed west. We could just see the lights on the object, they seemed to be moving in a circle pattern and changing color, reds and blues.

It stayed in the west for a couple seconds then headed back east, went way out in front of us again with just bright white lights then headed towards our car at a very fast speed, we thought it was going to hit us. Then it hovered over us, the lights were in a triangle pattern, whipped around quickly to the west again then the three lights got very big and formed a straight line and lit up the inside of our car. Whipped around again and headed north and disappeared.

On November 29, 2007 my wife and I were returning to our home in the California Gold Country on California State Route 4 (going east) in the vicinity of the Stanislaus and Calaveras county line. This is a very remote area approaching the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. The area is primarily cattle range land, with a sparse farm house here and there.

At around 17:45 we noticed a large (bigger than a fist) bright light to the south. It appeared to be around 1500 feet agl, and looked to be 2 or 3 miles south of our position. My first impression was that it was a landing light on a commercial aircraft on approach to Stockton Airport, some 30 miles to the west.

As we continued east on Hwy 4 the light remained stationary. Eventually we lost sight of it either due to its departure, or it may have become obscured by the foothills that we were not traversing.

Two days later I drove the same route during the day and confirmed what I already knew: There is not a natural or man made structure anywhere near this area over 100 ft. tall. I also timed the driving time from where we first made the sighting to where we lost sight, a total of 7 minutes.

We were in the woods off Hwy 108. First we saw what looked like long strands of spider like web, some short, long etc. The spider like strands were swirling, falling and drifting somewhat very high.

Then I saw the saucer [like a flat plate with a dome] which was a dark grey color. I told my friend that I saw a UFO and because of his poor eyesight did not see it but he did see the spider web stuff.

When I picked up my binoculars I could not find it as it was out of sight.

3 Crafts Above Methodist Mountain in Colorado in August 2004!

Several UFOs entered the area from the north. 3 of the crafts stayed above or beyond Methodist mountain which is on the south-east end of town. Methodist mountain separates us from the San Luis Valley which is famous for its many sightings. Its possible the crafts could be above the San Luis Valley, but it was hard to judge distance. The 3 crafts zoomed all around the sky like nothing I've ever seen. I have been somewhat of a skeptic until that evening. What I saw was absolutely amazing and I could not take my eyes off the crafts. I continued to watch the entire duration of their presence which was approx. 3 hours. They seemed to be boomerang shaped or triangular. There are no aircrafts on this planet that could move like that that I'm aware of. After they "cruised" around for a while, they all 3 took off high up into the heavens headed west and up, up, up until they were no longer visible. Wow!

While fishing at Lake Alpine, I saw what I thought to be a silver aricraft, possibly a Cessna 140 or an Ercoupe, as these planes often are not painted, but are polished aluminum. I couldn't discern an aircraft shape per se, just a shing object that appeared to be 8 to 10 miles to the south. It was traveling at a pace one would expect of a small plane, and appeared to be 5,000 agl. (Lake Alpine is 7,300.) I watched it travel south for 10 or 15 seconds and suddenly it abruptly changed directions (now S.W.) and shot out of sight in a very short time, two or three seconds. There was no sound. This is the fourth (similar) incident I have seen here in Calaveras County since moving here nearly four years ago, but this is my first report

At about 8:30pm on 3/22/04, my wife and myself were in our hottub relaxing and about to get out for the evening. Directly at the zenith of the sky, this object caught my attention. It was a dull, fuzzy orange color, the shape and size of a basketball, perfectly round, moving from east to west making absolutely no sound. There was also no visible contrail such as a meteor would leave. It was about 50 feet above us. The sky this night was absolutely clear and the weather was mild, about 40 degrees F. From the point in the sky that I noticed it to the time it went over the roof of my house (the roof being approx. 45 degrees up from the west horizon) took approximately 3 seconds. There were no aircraft visible at the time of the sighting, nor afterward. My wife was facing the opposite direction and never saw it but apparently by the look on my face she knew something strange went over us. I am 44 yrs. old and have been an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer all of my life.

Three satallite-like formation of lights in night sky forming the shape of a triangle

Reported by 44 yr old male. Education-BA Liberal Studies and an MA in Educ Avid back yard astronmer and ufologist for over 15 years. This report details the sighting of 3 anomalous objects.

Date of report: 6/1/02 Preliminary information: On May 29, at 10:32PM (three days ago), I was at roughly the 6800ft elevation in the California mountains up along highway 108 in California, north of Yosemite past the Dardanelles, near a resort called Kennedy meadows. We were staying at a private cabin and I was using a 4" refractor telescope and binoculars to view the crystal clear, high country night sky. It was moderately cool with no haze or weather -- a great night for viewing.

There were only two of us. As we spotted a number of clusters, a couple of distant galaxies and nebula, we also concentrated on counting satellites that silently trekked across the sky. We also spotted what ostensibly was a military craft flying quite a bit higher than the commercial planes that occasionally went by. I figured it was military because it flew like a plane but did not display the standard red and green wing tip lights. this presumed military craft had a single white strobe that blinked about once only every five seconds. Satellites are uniquely different from other objects in the sky. They are distinctive since they are small spots of light, obviously very high, even beyond the high-flying military craft and soundless. Satellites also move quickly across the sky and should appear to move more slowly since they are further away, yet due to their high speed, they are still noticeably faster -- orbital velocity is roughly 17,500 mph. Not all satellites however travel at the same speed -- some seem to be faster than others but this may be attributable to the altitude of their individual orbit -- some are further out into space than others and apparent speed becomes difficult to discern. They also often change their light intensity since they are so high, reflecting sunlight that shines from far over the horizon. If they are spinning, they will seem to slowly flicker as their surfaces reflect light in different directions, or their trajectory might not be conducive to good reflectivity of sunlight. To the best of my knowledge, satellites don't emit much light of their own; this is something I need to confirm with someone who knows. The altitudes and trajectories of satellites vary greatly, yet they all share the same features of being small, fast moving, silent points of light, well beyond the altitude of other craft.

Sighting details: After spotting over 12 satellites, most travelling in a north to south or south to north orbit, I spotted another. It was noticeably bright white, more so than most of the other satellites but I didn't think it unusual since it had virtually all the features of satellites previously described, with a few exceptions. I would rate its brightness to be roughly between a magnitude of 3 to 4 (using star magnitude rating). To compare it with something familiar, it was about as bright as the star Orion, (even though I don't know Orion's specific magnitude rating). I noticed the object's intensity was constant and I thought "this is a good one", since often times satellites can fade quickly or come in and out of view based upon their reflective properties and surface features. Again, it was in the same area of the sky that we had spotted many others and nothing seemed odd.

However, within about two seconds of spotting it I saw two more flying behind it adjacent to one another. They were all the exact same intensity and the three formed a perfectly symmetrical triangle. Their exact position to one another could not be determined due to their distance from me and the effects of parallax, but I quickly went to my scope and was able to spot the lead light. I was using a high quality 19mm eyepiece that provides about 50x magnification with my scope. I tracked it briefly then held the scope still. The following two lights flew right through my field of view. They were all shaped identical, somewhat like orbs with a slight teardrop shape to them. I wouldn't call them disks though. I wasn't getting any significant resolution to determine specific details.

Their speed was faster than some of the slow satellites we saw earlier in the evening and slower than fast ones.

The entire sighting seemed to last about 4 minutes -- longer than usual satellite sightings. I did have enough time to repeatedly track them using just my eyes, the binoculars (regular 7x35), and my 4" telescope. My companion also saw the objects both through the binoculars, and with his bare eyes.

The formation was perfectly symmetrical in that, they moved as one unit, in the shape of a triangle, however it is important to note that the space between them did not occlude stars behind them as a solid object would do.

Therefore, it can be inferred that they were three distinctly separate lights moving together as one, hence, flying in formation.

The amount of sky occupied by this formation can be described as such: Hold your arm out at length, close your fist and hold up your thumb (as if you were giving a "thumbs-up" to someone). Place the lead light on the tip of your thumb and the trailing lights at the base of your thumb and separate the trailing lights by the width of your thumb -- this forms the size and the triangle of their formation. At the apparent distance of these objects, this would constitute a formation that was considerably wide apart, yet they maintained perfect symmetry from one another and continued that way with the same heading (north to south in this case) throughout the sighting.

After they finally moved low enough to the horizon, they became occluded by trees, however it is important to note that they maintained their intensity of white light throughout the entire sighting. The area of the horizon into which they disappeared, was a region that no satellites were spotted. Every other satellite heading south disappeared long before this area due to lack of direct line of sight with the sun.

As we speculated about that which we had seen, we continued to watch for a few more hours until about 3:30am. We were particularly vigilant for the next 90 minutes after the initial sighting since, if they were satellites, we might have caught a second glimpse and dismissed the event as ordinary satellites -- (they should have reappeared as they orbited the planet once again) -- however, they never reappeared.

Are there any "ordinary" satellites that have been placed into a synchronous orbit with one another, so as to move in perfect formation through their orbits? No other unusual lights were seen throughout the rest of the evening or the next night of viewing.

Thank you very much for the excellent report! You certainly are a very good witness, and you have reported the event excellent well, I believe.

My suspicion is that you may have witnessed the U. S. Navy's N.O.S.S. satellite trio, which has been reported to our Center since approximately July 1996. Although the Navy will not talk about them, they were first investigated by Dr. Terence Dickerson, an astronomer (I believe), who writes for the Toronto Star. He had received many reports of three "satellites," which appeared to maintain formation over the course of several weeks' time, and which exhibited characteristics of typical man-made satellites.

There are many such reports of the phenomenon, which can be seen on our website. Interestingly, most of the reports seem to be from the summer months.

Dear Mr. Davenport,
Thank you for your swift reply. I knew the sighting was odd, but could not say for certain that they were not satellites. Thank you for clarifying; it sounds that they may indeed have been the N.O.S.S trio of which you wrote. I would like to know more about them; the mysteries seem to be unending.

I noticed that the lead light of this trio had a small protrusion of red light pointing downward towards the horizon. It was constant, in that it was not flickering, flashing nor did it have any strobe-like modulation in any way, and had no visible means of connection to the main sphere. However, at such a great distance, I doubt any support structure could be seen, even through my telescope. I intentionally omitted this aspect from the report since I only caught a brief glimpse of this feature and could not described it with any accuracy other than what I just mentioned.

You are an exceptional and dedicated Ufologist and I have had the pleasure of listening to many of your contributions to the Jeff Rense program. I wish you continued success, and you can be assured I will be listening in the future as I have been for so long. If I have the fortune to see anything of interest in the future you'll be the first I contact. After 15 years of studying the subject and scouring the skies as an amateur astronomer, this recent event is the first legitimate anomalous sighting I've ever had. Hopefully, we'll have good reason to speak again sometime.

We suspect the witness was watching what are suspected to be N.O.S.S. satellites, which we believe are launched periodically by the U. S. Navy. They disappear when they enter the terminator, I.e. the shadow, of the Earth. Please see other report from CA for same time and date. PD

I was on the phone to my sister in the back yard. I told her there was a really bright star in the southern sky to go out in her yard and look. she was about a mile from where we lived. the light was slowly getting closer and was really low to the trees tops , then it went right over my yard , there was no sound I was telling my sister to look toward my house she said she couldn't see it because of the trees. this thing I tought at first was a stelth but then when it was over me I seen the bottom.

It had no real wings just rounded triangle ends and it had a bubble like area on the bottom of it. The end as it passed had red ,yellow/white purple/blue lights across the end or back of it . I watched it leave and then a really fast american military jet was flying behind I think he was trying to catch that thing. he wasn't keeping up with that thing. I was still on the phone and told my sister the whole thing I just saw, and that I didn't feel well , I tryed to walk up the back stairs and fell three times and I don't drink or do any drugs, I called for help and my daughter helped me in the house . I vomited for about a half an hour afterward and was sun burned on my face and really hot. I pray this was our governments and not something unexplainalbe.

Shiny object heading west, 10 miles east of Salida.Planes appear to have chased it away.

Two of us were scanning the sky 10 miles east of Salida, CO when we witnessed an object reflecting the moonlight to the north (NO FAA blinking light). It moved steadily across the sky (horizontal) to the west just over a bluff & then a plane suddenly headed in thsat direction from the other side of the bluff & apeared to chase it away. We had witnessed a larger (or closer) object in the south sky minutes before.(separate report)

Large cylindrical object steadily crossed the sky in the light of the moon.It did NOT display FAA blinking light.

Two of us were 10 miles east of Salida,CO at a rest area, lying flat on our backs atop a picnic table at a rest area watching the sky. A large object with no blinking lights (moon reflected off it) crossed the sky southwest. As it appeared to be taking it's time & clearly was not a plane, we grabbed video camera & camera with telephoto & doubler lenses... It approached the "bend" in the big dipper & then dissapeared. 35 mm film yet to be developed , but I got a perfect bead on it in the camera. The video appears to be too dark to see the object. Planes appeared in the area shortly after.

White spherical orb about three times the size of a full moon was observed from one mile away.

We were camping at Lake Alpine, California, elevation 7,500' which is due west of Naval (Army?) Ordinance Depot at Hawthorne, Nevada. I saw a white moonlike sphere at a ridge line about one-half mile away. It was about three times full-moon size (approximately 30 feet diameter) and observed for about 6 to 8 seconds moving slowly about 120 MPH. Clear sky and full moon at 2:00 A.M. about mid-August of 1998.

I am a Caltech grad BSCE 1947. Consulting Structural Engineer, and Santa Barbara resident since 1955. I am fully familiar with and have observed all types of conventional aircraft for over 55 years! Also, I have observed satellites on several camping trips at Lake Alpine, California.

I can provide additional details and welcome a telephone call. Steven Greer gave a workshop at UCSB about ten years ago. When I described my sighting, another person said he had a similar sighting at Joshua Treee National Park near the Marine Corps. Training Center adjacent to Twenty-Nine Palms, California.

Two lighted circular UFO's play follow the leader

When I was about 12 years old, my little sister had written a letter to Santa Clause. It was a couple weeks before Christmas. I told her that I would take it to the mailbox for her. It was night and already dark. The sky was cloudy and as I was walking out of my doorway I looked up. These clouds were very high in the sky and in them, or near them, I saw two lights. The two lights were round and sort of yellowish, they were not very bright, about as bright as a flashlight. I saw these two objects following each other. One seemed to be leading the other. They were moving in small circles around each other, also making figure eights and very semi-circle movements. They continued this for about 10 seconds before they both shot off into the night.

A retired aerospace engineer was out walking his dog, when he was momentary witness to a "very bright object with flames coming off it" streak across the sky from northeast to southwest.

It flew parallel to the horizon, and he emphasized that it did not look like a shooting star. It flew from horizon to horizon in about 2 seconds, except its appearance was obscured in the southwest, where the sky was obscured/overcast. The observer stated that he thought the object appeared to be descending.

Its color was "metallic silver." Flames were streaming off the nose of the object. It was much smaller than a full moon. He said that it looked like an object re-entering from space.

08/24/92 at 23:00 in Pinecrest FL. wife and I were out on our pooldeck and saw a sauser like object

It was the evening following Hurricane Andrew in South FL. We had no electric so we slept out on the pool deck on lounge chairs.

I fell asleep first and my wife woke me up and asked what was that overhead. I woke up and saw a saucer shaped craft with what looked like a cabin underneath it with 8 or 10 rectangular windows and an orange light coming from the windows underneath. The sky was 100% clear and when I blinked my eyes it was gone. No sound, nothing.

I turned to my wife and asked her what she saw and she described exactly what I saw.

We lived at XXXX SW 104 St. Pinecreat, FL 33156

I checked the newpaper and asked neighbors but no one reported or saw anything. I was with the sheriff's Dept. at the time and no one reported anything.

I thought I had better go on record now to see if you got any reports that night.

Silver disc shaped close encounter with biological effects.

My friend is a retired Corrections officer who, while a patrolman back in 1974 witnessed a silver disc shaped object hovering about 100 yards away from him. He felt confusion and disorientation for quit some time afterwards that lasted days. He also filed a formal report.
