The object appeared from the right to left directly in front, then stopped mid-air. Was low enough to see shape and lights underneath.

I was stationary at the traffic lights on the corner of Monterey Ave and Highway 111 (in between the Mall and Walgreens) at the front on the line, left hand side (there are two left turning lanes), waiting to make a turn onto Hwy 111. The sky was dark and I noticed movement in the sky from the right to the left, so that the object was almost directly in front of me, but up high. There are always planes in the area due to the airport and I didn’t think anything at first glance, but the object stopped in the air and that’s when it caught my attention. As I focused my attention more on the object (trying to figure out what it was, like a helicopter), it moved enough towards my direction so that I could see from underneath that it was triangular / boomerang shaped and there were round, green lights. I think there were 3 green lights on each of the arms of the “boomerang”. The object was still quite high in the sky. I was trying to grab my phone to take a picture but the traffic lights changed and I couldn’t get to it in time and had to make the left hand turn. The time would have been between 7.19 - 7.23 pm on Sunday 17th March, 2024. I was in the car alone, but there was a car beside me on the right, also waiting to make a left hand turn so there may be another sighting at the same location. If I had to guess the location of the object relative to the ground, I would estimate it was in alignment with the Living Desert Zoo, but on the right hand side of Hwy 74, over the housing area there.

Black triangle w/red & green flashing lights, above air traffic lanes, hovering then EXTREMELY fast drop to very low altitude

I have a Celestron telescope with which I can see the moons of Jupiter, so it has very good clarity. I was out walking, and saw a black triangle with 2 red and 2 green flashing lights hovering over the area of the 29Palms Marine Base, and thought it to be a vertical landing F35 or other fighter aircraft. I ran inside my home, got the telescope, and focused it... other neighbors out walking had seen the craft and grown concerned as well. The lights were VERY bright, brighter than any drone lights I've ever seen, and brighter than any lights I've seen on an aircraft, and I've lived near airports and flight paths my entire life. The triangle was hovering above the airspace that airplanes use when coming in for a landing at the local Palm Springs Airport, and appeared to be about 15-20,000 feet in altitude. After hovering for about 10 minutes, a commercial airplane came into the normal landing pattern for the Palm Springs airport and passed by the object with what looked like several miles of distance between them, and about 20 seconds later the triangle abruptly dropped at an extremely fast speed, almost to the ground (it was no longer visible to me as a house was in the way). My spouse and several shocked neighbors saw it too. I then went back inside and Googled every drone and jet fighter VTOL picture and video I could find, and even thought it may be an Osprey aircraft, but nothing looks like what I saw.

For background, my spouse and I both have 20/10 vision, and are very skeptical about UFO sightings. But this was absolutely terrifying. We've never seen anything like this. Please do not release my name -- I don't want anyone outside of NUFORC contacting me or my family.

I was visiting family in california. arrived late on 11/24th. I was awakend to let my dog outside at 5am to potty. I was looking up at the sky and I noticed the stars were very visible no clouds when I saw this very very large rectangle that appeared to be right over the Bump an Grind Trail in Palm Desert. It was moving very slowly across the top of the mountains(hills with trails)southbound towards the other trail up to the Cross that is always lit up. The rectangles side visible to me had lights that almost looked like words written across them but nothing I could read. There was no sound at all. I am very familiar with planes and blimps and what they look like at night and what they sound like. At first my brain thought it was a jet airplane but it was not making any sound what so ever and for the sheer size that would mean its very close and I would definitely hear the jet noise. Then I thought maybe it a twin prop plane carrying a lit Christmas banner b! ehind it and then I realized there is no noise and that was ridiculous. I was not on any drugs that would have altered my state. I did see a hikers headlamp shine on the bump and grind trail which is common in early mornings and late evenings but that was the only other thing I could see around that area. the one end of the rectangle eventually started to disappear slowly as if it might be turning possibly, but I am unsure as to why is was disappearing

I have pictures and videos. We live in the Coachella Valley, a friend first spotted in Desert Hot Springs, then another friend spotted it in La Quinta and we see it now in Palm Desert. We are a small valley. It just hoovered in one spot only moving up down, to the right and left in small spurts. It’s been two hours now and it’s still hoovering. We’re trying to drive closer to it because we think it is hoovering over our Palm Springs airport. When we looked at it thru binoculars it looked like a white glowing orb, I mean perfectly round , the best thing I could describe it to is as if it were a tiny little moon. Clear blue skies out only a couple clouds at a high of 120 degrees

A silver colored baseball bat shaped object fell from the sky in between the passing of 3 military jets.

Sunday 7/26/20 at 16:15 hrs I went out into my front yard and heard the sound of an aircraft that I recognized as the sound of a military aircraft from my back ground as a flight attendant for MAC flights.I did not see an aircraft. Seconds later, I heard a second military aircraft pass overhead. This second aircraft was visible to me, moving form West to East. It quickly disappeared into the horizon. Seconds after the disappearance, at a much lower altitude (2,000 ft?), I saw a long thin, light silver baseball bat shaped object descending slowly at approximately a 45 degree angle. I lost sight of the "bat"beyond the roof lines of my neighborhood. I stood still waiting for the sound of a crash-which never occurred. Immediately afterwards a third jet passed overhead, again moving from West to East. This jet was visible to me for seconds as it too passed into and disappeared into the horizon.

Green glow red glow light orbs

Bright fuzzy glowing light orb red and green changing back and forth floating twoards my son And I, then after thinking and saying we weren't afraid of ot, come closer, it did. Then, silent as it was, it intelligently knew somehow we were in full observation of it. Don't know how I know this, but I do. Then it slowly moved from our position on our front 2nd story deck. As it went away it chose red color light, and eventually displayed two flash then none rythmic pulse pattern of lighting, as if demonstrating that blinking white lights in the sky werent always "planes" flying above. tail lights flashing, it went around a nearby church steeple. I asked it to come back as I was still very skeptical thinking maybe it was a drone in it had to be a drone. Then much to my surprise the object came around the corner this time glowing green and not changing from Green. It came around the same direction it had travelled previously. It paused just in front o! f me and by this time my son had gotten bored and went inside. In front of me this light simply disappeared. boom. Invisible. To the naked eye, it was not there anymore and that's what I saw.

This was a sighting at night above Palm Desert, CA. featuring an angular object from which four other objects flew away and came back.

Last night I was sitting in my hot tub and facing due east so the jet of water could hit my lower back. My husband had already gone inside, so I was alone and staring up, hoping to see a meteor. I heard something that caused me to moved my gaze straight up and I saw something moving fast -- it was huge, moving fast, and intermittently visible. It was like a ship whose cloaking device was sputtering. The object was not lit, but it seemed like it was reflecting the light from the cities below.

It was flying higher than planes coming into PSP airport, but below the level of planes flying from LAX to the East Coast (which one can still hear and see with their flashing lights). In the distance it seemed to suddenly stop, and then four or five separate objects flew away from it for a few seconds and then they flew back and merged with the object, and then the object suddenly seemed to fly straight up really fast and disappear.

Honestly, it could have been a stealth bomber flying out of March AFB in Riverside -- they probably don't publish their training missions so it would be hard to verify. It is not impossible that the objects i saw flying away from it could have been panels reflecting city lights. But it didn't seem to behave like a bomber would -- streaking across the sky, making a bit of noise but then no more noise, suddenly stopping and disappearing and appearing, and then suddenly streaking straight up. I did not see any trails or exhaust or jet engine plumes that a fighter might make, but I don't know how the B2's mask those.

I have seen B2's fly in the skies above So Cal during events like the Rose Parade, and this didn't look like that and it certainly didn't behave like that. At that hour, around ten thirty at night, it was very dark and the moon was not visible. The Coachella Valley is in the desert but it is fairly heavily developed so there is considerable light pollution. There are plenty of undeveloped areas around, so if the AF wanted to fly training missions, why would they fly right over a populated area with a busy airport? I ran inside and told my husband what I had seen to try to keep "contemporaneous notes" and to try to explain and understand what I had seen. I was in a hot tub thus didn't have my phone at hand to take any pictures (and probably wouldn't have had the time anyway). Needless to say I have never seen anything like this before and have never filed a report like this either.

Two bright circles coming out of a bright cloud.

Saw a really bright light outside my house. I went outside to investigate and in the sky was a bright glowing cloud. Flying away from the cloud were two glowing objects. They were travelling in the same direction, but the trailing one was emitting light that pulsed out in semi circles behind it. They both seemed to be emitting light, like shining fog. The leading circle was faster and continued to the south, the trailing light turned and went south west.

Thanksgiving night, 11/23/17. 7:00pm, my wife called me outside to the Sun deck of our room at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert, CA, and I shot 3 videos from my phone. It was over 5 minutes changing colors from red to green to blue then a soft yellow color going side to side and up and down before vanishing.

The phone really doesn't capture since the object appears much larger and hovered over the hills. You can tell it was technology not from this world I did some research and this isn't far from Joshua Tree that lays on the 33rd parallel the same as the great priamids.

Two orbs seen flying across sky, slow to a standstill over populated zoo at night, a third orb appears forming a hovering triangle.

7:35PM October 31, 2017, The Living Desert, Palm Desert, CA My wife and I are members at our local desert zoo. The zoo puts on a "Howl-o-ween" event where thousands of kids, parents are members are invited to walk about and participate in themed mazes, see animals eating etc. We'd been to the zoo a dozen times in the last year and know it well.

Tonight they illuminated the adjacent fenced off rocky hill for the visitors to view the resident rams. Shortly after I took a photo of the hill with moonlight clouds above, I saw the end of the cloud cover was nearly directly overhead and that the stars were peaking through.

It was only 10 seconds after gazing upward that I saw what looked like two faint stars flying from the clear SW sky, travelling parallel to each other but not in an exact straight line. One of them was pulsing slowly a bright white color, the other appeared to fade in and out, they could have been mistaken for satellites or planes if they had not drifted and slowed to a standstill almost directly overheard. At this point I called to my wife, got out my smartphone (which couldn't capture anything of course) and we both saw the orbs slowly stop.

At this point another orb slowly appeared and then the three balls of light seemed to "align" themselves into a classic UFO triangle.

At this point, shocked, I looked around to see how others were reacting and their were dozens of people all around us but, as expected, they were completely engaged with their costumed kids.

The triangles altitude was not much higher than the low-hanging clouds yet their appearance was inconspicuous enough to just appear as other faint stars. We could see that they weren't exactly still but hovered in place, not pulsing or fading in or out, but just staying still as if "pretending" to be stars.

After 3 or 5 minutes staring up at the floating triangle, we had to get going, reluctantly. It felt like winning the jackpot then having to leave your lotto ticket behind.

I was not too surprised by any of this behavior as I have researched many other UFO cases that are nearly exact replicas of this, yet the sheer euphoria and shock of seeing it right before your eyes, out in the open in front of thousands is a power emotion I'll never forget. Researchers and witness have concurred over the years that whatever intelligence these orbs have, it is probably aware of how humans think, and show themselves only just enough for a few to see them, but rarely make an appearance big enough or at the right time for a full-scale sighting with any real earth-shattering consequences. This being my second sighting, and my first in what must be the most populated public outdoor place for the next hundred miles, I believe the UFO definitely knew it could act with impunity.

I would love to find out this was some sort of military operation, but I've never seen anything American made move like that.

Finally, I parked the car in a church parking lot, where others approached me to ask if I knew what we were looking at. Needless to say, I'm totally freaked out.

Clear evening when a scattering of objects (lights) started moving from east to west all together, quite fast; no noise.

There were approx 35 to 40 lights (star like) above the house. They began moving from east to west. they were scattered about and all moving at the same time. they all stopped about the same time. They slowly faded out. they were about 40 thousand ft high. a couple of airplanes went by, but they were at a lower altitude.

I immediately called 911 to report the strange sighting. I was unable to contact news media.

hopefully there were more sightings. My daughter spotted them first, then my husband and myself ran out to observe.

On Saturday July 23, 2013, @ approx: 20:25PM, I was outside, I saw a cluster of 20-30 lights hovering about 35,000 ft above our house to the (NE) I called for my parents to check this out.

The cluster took off towards the (SE) in pattern much like a flock of birds. The higher they went the further apart the got. They looked like blinking stars, until they could no longer be seen.

I believe they were space ships! No explanation could change my mind! I didn't get my phone in time to get any pictures

Two oval objects heading fast towards the west over Palm Desert.

Driving west on Fred Waring in Palm Desert, I saw two disk-shaped objects in the clear sky. They were headed relatively fast towards west, seemed to be quite high up in the air, and I couldn’t hear any sound. (I was in a car so that may have been the reason.) The two objects were close to each other and kept the same distance and configuration. They were both identical in appearance: Oval, dark in color, somewhat metallic looking. At the time, I and the driver of the car had no idea what they may be. They didn’t look like anything I had seen before, and I couldn’t think of anything known they could be. They went too fast for being a balloon. They were definitely not birds. It was daylight so they were not obviously planets or meteors. They were not civilian drones since they went fast and continued over the mountains. They did not have the shape of any airplane I have seen.

Thinking back now, it is possible that they were two helicopters and we didn’t see the rotors or any of the things normally protruding from helicopters. It’s possible, but it does seem unlikely that we wouldn’t have seen any of those things and the perfect oval shape of both objects didn’t fit the shape of helicopters I have seen. It is possible that they were military drones flying in perfect formation and with no visible or audible form of propulsion. I don’t know if military drones comes in a perfectly oval shape. It was certainly an odd sight.

As I was driving home heading south on my street Preston Trail in Palm Desert, CA, the moon was very bright and large to my left. A very bright slow moving "fireball" appeared from the west heading east. It appeared to be a comet but moved very slow relative to shooting stars and other comets I have seen. There did not appear to be a long tail but a very bright almost luminescent vapor trail and their appeared to be a splotch of bright red trailing it. As it got closer to the very bright full moon off to my left it disappeared like it had "burned out." It didn't appear to be a craft or conventional UFO. The slow speed and lack of a tail differentiated it from other comets I have seen or would expect to see. I tried to contact local Palm Desert news stations to inquire if there were additional sightings but I was unable to get a live person. I thought I would give this a shot in hopes of clarifying whether or not anyone else saw it or reported it.

Looking W-NW from Palm Desert looking toward Palm Springs, a very large and bright white hovered, moved up and to the north toward Joshua Tree, turned red, drifted back to the west again and went up from 30 degrees above the horizon to 35 degrees above horizon. Turned back to very bright cool white. Turned back to red and dove NW or away from our view point down below the horizon in less than 1-2 seconds. Entire event lasted less than a minute and a half.

The light intensity was far brighter and larger than the top of the tram light. As bright as an incoming commercial jet liner that is descending and coming directly at you as they do from east to west where we live. This was 30 degree and up from the horizon, well over the top of mount San Gorgonio (sp?) to the north west. Over the mountains that direction sets Joshua Tree to the north and Edwards AFB and Mohave to the north west.

I have seen missile launches at dusk from our location from Vandenburg, further to the west. This was my first UFO experience.

I managed to get both my wife and adult son out to see it for the final 20-30 seconds to witness me.

Entity captured on iPhone camera (invisible to naked eye) whilst observing a UFO in the sky.

Object seen: An object 5-15 miles to the south west from our current location, above the mountain skyline. It perceptibly had the same size and shape as an ordinary star, was not twinkling, and was brighter. There was clearly some kind of field or energy emanating from the object, my best description being an electric smoky haze.

What it did: At first I thought it was a planet, until my girlfriend and I confirmed to each other that it was darting in random directions (few hundred feet?) within the area in the sky it was spotted. Each time it darted we would correctly confirm the direction to each other. It would also pause and very slightly contract and expand (this would excite the very slight field/haze surrounding it) Shape and Color: Craft: - Yellow - Star shaped (a small bright light) - No twinkling Being: - Translucent - Appeared like a cephalopod.

Single source of bluish-white light in the “head” region.

A being captured on video: I turned on my iPhone 4 to try to attempt to capture this object in the sky. The phone defaulted to the rear-facing self-portrait (facing behind us). Before switching it to the forward camera, I noticed something coming in to view from behind a retaining wall. It was a translucent, floating being. I turned my head to see the creature behind me, but there was nothing visible. Turning back to the camera, the creature remained on screen. I held the camera on the creature until its body language displayed that it noticed us watching it via the camera. The creature then swiftly vanished upwardly.

Witnesses/Observers: College graduate couple who had recently moved to LA. We tended to be skeptical of such phenomena. This evening we both had consumed one alcoholic beverage each by this time.

Me: 25 yr old software developer.

Girlfriend: 24 yrs waitress.

I have the video of this encounter, and would like to share it with a credible investigator.

I heard fireworks around 9:00PM, and went ouside to see them. Too far away, not high enough and obstructed view, I was unable to see fireworks. So since I was out there I looked up to see the stars and saw red/orange flashing lights in the shape of a "top". At arms length it was the size of a quarter. As I watched it move, I ruled out that it was a plane, helicopter or blimp, as it changed direction spontaneously. It was so mesmerizing to witness something that my mind could not logically comprehend. When I decided it was a UFO it darted to the east, then vanished without a trace. There was no smoke or sound, but I kept looking to watch it reappear. it never did. And then I basically thought that I was crazy! No, not really! I felt so lucky to see the same activity so many others saw around the world! 12-31-13 9:15PM PST.

I saw an actual UFO! I'd like to volunteer to go up on that spacecraft!

We noticed lights that were too low and bright to be satellites but definitely not planes as they did not have any blinking lights to them. We could also clearly see planes every now and then to determine the difference. At first they appeared to be following the same path but not too close behind one another. We went to the front of the house where it was darker and saw a few more flying in other directions. Never seen anything like this. It looked like bright stars were moving but again not like satellites that are normally faint and higher up.

two of my friends were leaving for the night, as they were walking out i saw them stop and start recording something up in the sky, ((name deleted))s came running in telling me to come out side quick.

I couldn't tell if it was 3 red lights or a ball of fire, it was pulsing lightly.

At first i thought it was some sort of helicopter hovering but then it started zig zagging as it was going up ever so slightly, then stopped raising and hovered for a minute or two making slight left and right movements almost like triangles then started moving to the right slowly then stopped.

The red ball started flashing inconsistently then faded out, i could see it doing maneuvers far off in the background but it was so lights it hurt my eyes to try and focus that far off.

My friend and I were sitting in the backyard of my home, having a conversation while gazing at the stars. Suddenly a loosely oval-shaped mass, consisting of 30 to 40 glowing white dots, appear in the Northwest sky, moving at rapid speed. It was moving faster than a plane or birds could have flown. I said to my friend, “what is that?” and she observed the same thing I did. The mass kept undulating and moving rapidly across the sky. Suddenly it changed shape into a straight-line formation, continuing due east. The line formation lasted a few seconds and then, just as suddenly, it returned to the loosely oval-shaped mass. Thirty seconds later, the mass disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.

Neither one of us had been drinking or was intoxicated in any way or form, as both of us rarely drink. We are full-time students in the local community college, both with GPAs above 3.8. My friend is 31 years old and I am 57. I am the mother of two grown children. We have never experienced anything like this before. It was fascinating and beautiful.

This is the second red orb I've seen in my life. The last one was when I was in a plane. It was a far distance but same level as the plane. Then it went up towards like space with a smaller white orb following it. Then came back down just the red orb again same level as the plane and stopped.

It then hovered over a cloud and it like stopped glowing red. But the clouds were dark because it seem it was raining then there was lighting and it brightened up like glowing.

Triangular UFO sighted in daylight Palm Desert CA on 11/21/11

UFO SIGHTING APPROXIMATELY 4:30 PM on November 21st 2011 It was still daylight outside and I was on my way to a Chinese restaurant to get something to eat with my wife. My wife was driving and said "Look at That". I looked up and saw what appeared to be a Triangular shaped craft near by and flying lower than usual. The shape was clearly defined and easy to see. It was triangular in shape, an isosceles triangle the size of a large airliner. It was a grey/blue colour. It was moving very slowly and close enough that I should of heard its engines, but did not hear anything. I doubt it was more than a mile away and less than a thousand feet up. The craft was making a starboard turn and when I saw the rear of the craft there were lights across the rear except near the corners. Each corner had a white light as did the Centre of the triangle. The lights on the bottom of the craft flickered and it changed the appearance quite a bit, although you could definitely see the triangular outline of the craft. The arrangement of the ligh! ts made it appear like an air liner. A few seconds later, the lights flickered again and this time it looked like the lights of several small planes. looking back on thinks, I really should have pulled over and taken things in better. My wife really wasn't all that excited about it and just kept heading to the restaurant. I guess that was because the only real difference between what we saw and an airliner was the triangular shape. It seemed to move differently though, almost turning like a boat.

two persons witness a fast, large stealth fighter like object with no lights in palm desert for six seconds then makes S turn.

I don't beleive in this stuff, however, I have seen this UFO thing happen too many times out here in the desert. Only this time it was just one anomaly instead of a formation of anomalies and another person saw it with me.

Arrowhead shaped object with blunted edges approached from the west, very fast and reaching an elevation of about 90 degrees then, turned south and performed an S turn maneuver. The only light coming from it seemed to be as a result of reflected ambient light from the city, sort of grey or stone like in color.

This "thing" was moving so fast, as they always are. Sort of looked like a stealth fighter with no lights on, no sound, bigger and much faster and more maneuverable than anything I would expect to see. Words cannot describe

Numerous lighted triangular craft observed simultaneously in different quadrants of sky over Palm Desert, CA.

Observed numerous triangular shaped craft while driving. As many as three flying in formation and several singly, simultaneously in widely different quadrants of the sky. Craft featured bright white lights outlining the shape which sometimes alternated to red/white in a strobing fashion. Altitude and size difficult to gauge, but closest craft that flew nearly vertical over car was low, possibly 1,500' AGL. Speed was very slow, but at times seemed to accelerate rapidly. At least one craft observed appeared to be hovering for several minutes toward the west in the direction of Palm Springs. At times, the white lights would flash two times with great intensity, then dim down. The Palmn Springs Film Festival is underway, so the thought occurred to me that it was some sort of promotional stunt for a film?!? All in all the objects were strange at best.

Four Green lights in a line moving from South to North

I’m a field supervisor for a security company in the area and I was walking away from doing a patrol hit. I was looking at my vehicle when I saw something out of the corner of my eye that caused me to look up at the sky. When I looked up I saw four green lights in a line about 600 feet above the ground. I was facing north and watched the lights for about 10 minutes until I could not see them any more. They traveled from about a 45 degree angle to a 90 degree angle in that 10 minute period that I watched them. While they traveled a tree was partially covering them but I could still see them through the leaves and branches. There was no sound coming from them at all. There was no other lights flashing like it would have been if it was a plane.

Being in the security business we are trained to be observant and to watch for things out of the ordinary. Living in the desert allows for great views of the night sky so I know I didn’t see Jupiter since I had my back to it.

My dog awoke me from a ufo trance where I knew what was happening and was okay with it.

I was driving south bound on a back roads from Palm Springs toward Indio, California. I saw a triangle-v shape object drop from the night sky a hundred yards or so into the path of the road I am travelling. Huge bright lights along the triangle shape craft started to have a relaxing affect on me as I slow the vehicle from 50 miles to a crawl when my large dog came from the rear of my van to the front passenger seat barking protectively. The craft hovering left the road area and began to hover on the driver side of the vehicle several feet in the sky in full bloom of these green, blue , red lights maybe 15feet wide each. then the craft flip a few time then headed away from the vehile. I was engage with making the van move quicker in fear and thankful for my dog pulling me out of the trance. I found it difficult to drive away from the craft being amazed of what I saw. I expeience hickups and a false sence of comfort from the lights and its my evaluation the only side affects I felt. My background is some college, almost 50 years old and a professional money manager residing in the Los Angeles Area. I don't do drugs and wasn't drinking and faced with alot of disbelief from those I shared my expeience with.

Saw a perfect symmetricalTriangle of three lights all connected by light beams in the North Sky.

My wife and I were in our spa enjoying our late evening. We were hugging and I was looking towards the North while she was looking towards the South. When I started to notice a circular bright white light in the North Sky - and it kept getting brighter, thinking it was just an airplane turning towards Palm Springs for its final approach. When I started to notice there were two 45-degree lights emitting from the bright light at the base. Then there were two additional slightly less bright circular lights at the end of the two 45 degrees lights and then a light that was horizontal from those lights, to create a perfect symmetrical upside down triangle. Thinking - WOW - I said to my wife "Look at the upside down triangle with the three bright lights in the sky that seems to be moving very slowly towards us" She looked and then was shocked - saying - "what is that" got scared then proceeded to run into the house. I stayed there and continued to watch all three lights and the angle lights get less bright and then all together disappear. It was unbelievable - I thought I'd never ever see a UFO!

Three fast moving lights that changed position frequently.

Looked directly up and observed 3 fast moving lights. When first observed, there were three lights in-line. We will refer to that position as 1200. They were travelling at what appeard to be very high speed, and in a south/east direction. There was no sound assoicated with the view. At approximately the 1:00 position, the lights went into a triagular position, with 1 followed by 2. They changed position very quickly. At approximatly the 1:30 position, they again went into an in-line position, and just as quicly were once again into a triangle position. The changing of formation contined until they were about 45 degrees from straight obove me. The lights grew dimmer as appeard to get further away, until they disappeared.

I would just like to know if anyone else observed these lights on this evening. Please let me know.

11/23/00 2300 Palm Desert, Ca. Dull white object crossing from horizon to horizon in 5 sec.

Back yard walking my dogs,cloudless sky, looking at stars in the desert. Living in L.A., sky is not as dark for viewing. Moving Southwest to Northeast at a very rapid speed, a dull white object moved from horizon to horizon in about 5 seconds. Holding my arm out at full length to the sky, the object was the size of my thumb. This was not any aircraft, as their were planes on approach to Palm Springs airport, also, no spot lights advertising anything on Thanksgiving. No sound was emitted.

I went outsideat about 2:30 am to move my car. After I had moved it, and was walking back into my yard, I glanced up just in time to see a huge dark triangle with a faint white light at each of its three corners. It was moving south east. It didn't seem to be making any noise. I couldnt Judge its altitude but it was about three times the size of a full moon. It looked very sinister, and very unatural. I watched for about half a minute. Then it streaked away at a very high rate of speed.

At almost full daylight,I was going out my door towards the east to retreive my newspaper, and it was so beautiful to look at the sky with early colors on a few, sparce clouds. Looking north through a ide space between two palm trees, I saw what I believed to be an airplane {what else would it have been?} and I was immediately intrigued because there was so much light coming from within. It didn't have the shape of a plane, just oblong with huge lights. I took four or five steps looking down to re-
treive the newspaper and then immediately looked for what I had first believed to be an airliner approching for a landing at Palm Springs in the west. The craft was no longer anywhere in the sky. Nowhere! Then was when I was just plain shocked...I had never believed in sightings of
unexplained objects...this I KNEW IMMEDIATELY was something very strange, unaccountable to me in any manner, for the object which was moving so slowly from my left toward the east was nowhere in the sky within a matter of perhaps six-seven seconds, the amount of time to move toward and pick up the paper. Since I had been initially quite aware of so much light and had never before seen such a thing, I wanted to follow it's curve and appoach to the west. It was my first thought that I had, indeed, seen something unexplainable. Bear in mind that I have recently moved here from Bellevue, Wa. and saw approaching and departing aircraft for over 30 years and have NEVER seen anything flying so low, slow and so much light looking as though the windows were huge. Since it was so low in the sky there was no sun up far enough to have been a long reflection, even as it moved slowly easternly.

I am 64 yrs old, female, very pragmatic, extremely well educated and read, recently retired from being a stock broker and certified financial planner. I raised four children to be open-minded and ducated.

We were in our garage and looking south over the Santa Rosa Mountains a bright light was hovering at a great distance it appeared to have red, blue and green lights rotating. we looked around and found there to be 5 other similar objects in different locations in the sky each displaying different lights in a circular motion. first red then green then blue. I got my digital camera out and took a picture of the night sky there was a full moon and was able to capture two images one shows up green and the other blue. when I pointed my camera at the objects and zoomed in they each appeared to bob up and down on the camera screen. I was not able to capture any stars on camera for comparison so these objects were much brigher and had colors. planes were flying by so we knew they were not planes and when i came out 2 hours later from the initial sighting the lights over the mountains were gone but the other lights were still in the sky. the lights appeared to move in an oval direction around the center but the objects were very far away from us and couldn't tell except that they were changing colors. my husband, myself and our daughter all saw the objects as well as my daughters boyfriend. we are college educated and teach middle school. my daughter is graduating from college and her boyfriend is a manager. I believe in ufos but my husband is the biggest non-believer until last night.

BRIGHT ORANGE OBJECT WITH WHITE BRIGHT TRAIL TAILING FROM BEHIND LIGHTING UP THE WHOLE MOUNTAIN SIDE, TAIL DISAPERED OBJECT DIMED SLIGHTLY INTO A YELLEOWISH COLOR THAT BROKE INTO 3 DIFFERENT OBJECTS FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND THEN WENT BACK TOGATHER, THEN DIMMED TO ALMOST NOTHING AND THEN BECAME BRIGHT FOR 5 SECONDS AND THEN A REAL BRIGHT LIGHT AND IT WAS GONE.

triangular object flew right over us

i was sitting by the pool with a friend at around 4 am. we were looking out into the night sky, talking. When we both noticed a single light appear in the sky pretty far out. it looked like a spot light at first , yet it had no glow to it. we sat there observing this light for about 5 min. when i said to my friend that i think it is coming in our direction. that was exactly what was happening. this object was heading right for us and about 5 min more it had reached our field of vision. my friend got scared and ran towards the house front door but stayed outside. i on the other hand was fixated on this thing going slowly towards my direction. it appeared to be about 15-20 ft above. moving extremely slow. the light appeared to be on the upper part of it. i'm guessing it was about 10 - 20 ft infront of us when the light moved behind it. this object continued towards us. it went right over us it appeared triangular on the bottom but it wasn't sharp edges, sort of round. no light reflected from it and when it was directly over us i saw what i thought was some form of energy movement from underneath it. which appeared rusty reddish in color with a dull illumination. it had a pattern swirling in the center and shooting in the opposite direction of the nose or the point of the object. it appeared to be a dark object with no reflection of any kind and no noise of any kind. the object was approximatly 15 ft long and about 10 feet wide at its bottom. it appeared to be flat on the bottom but not ontop, sort of dome like. we both watched this thing for about 30 to 40 min until it was way out there. then we saw two other lights moving from two other areas and all three were meeting up towards the same point then they all shot up at extremely fast speed into space. this is the closest to a ship i've been but ive seen something else really close too cant really say what it was but can describe it.

i recently sent a email form to your office. even though it sounds absurd, it really happened. i waited so long simply because what i saw was truly life changing! i didn't feel anyone would believe me so i only told one person besides you. after i wrote you i recalled some very important info. i did see this thing at a very close distance and for a very long time. i do not want anything in return, i am not doing this for recognition. if you all have never seen anything like this i am astounded, because this is my secound time, at the same distance but different object.i've seen other things at further distances

Summary : Five golden (like harvest moon) saucer-shaped objects flying in V-formation from West to East over distant mountain range (15 miles?) in Palm Desert, CA

ee - (30 seconds) kind of disappeared with litle sparkles of light.Me-always interested in UFOs - wanted to see one. This was a genuine sighting - no fuzzy lights or maybes. Havent seen anything it since, but did see stuff at Area 51. Went to UFO Congress in 93, became CSETI Direc tor in SF, CA, also do UFO trips with Beyond Boundaries. Still fascinated.Hubby - not interested. Could care less. "How does it effect me?" he says. Afraid of not being "normal" Says, "Well, I saw something.Some kind of lights in the sky' I say, "Ohh, you think they were airplanes?" "Of course not!! They ere going too fast and didn't look like planes."
