I saw a very large bright intense green fireball. I was driving along side it so I don't know if it was moving or not.

It looked pretty much like the fireball that was seen over San Diego at 10pm on the same night. They said it was a meteor but two in the same night? In two different places? At two different times? Didn't look particularly alien to me but what do I know about aliens. I've also seen triangular formations of triangular ships high in the night sky back in the early 2000's.

Multiple similar sized objects not flying as expected with bright lights underneath.

I first saw one then two then three and they appeared to interact with each other. It was too high to give a shape. The best I can say is a speck. I thought at first they were high flying snow geese because they were white. But then I did not see them flapping their wings so that wasn’t it and they couldn’t be gliding. So a few minutes later I started seeing lights underneath to which you could only see a bright light and no longer the white speck. Another person saw more behind me and she counted 12. I saw 3 to 4 at best. How high mid altitude below 5K feet. They were not moving like an aircraft or helicopter or jet or bird or balloon. I launched my drone and flew up to 400 ft AGL and scrolled my gimbal to 30 degrees high and hit the record button. I then rotated in place a few times not knowing if I got anything. Upon review I did not see the white specks nor the bright lights but it was either my strobe light under the belly that was reflecting off of t! he atmosphere or I was just under the objects and I was picking up a peripheral burst of lights as I rotated underneath them. God’s Truth.

Saw amber/orange lighted object in western sky.

Took the trash out and looked to the west and saw an amber/orange object in the sky. Thought it might be Mars or Mercury due to the color. The object started to move in a west to northwest direction so I knew it wasn't a planet. I then paid closer attention and saw a larger circle of light below and a smaller light on top. You could see a black area (I think it could have been the night sky as that's what it looked like) between the two amber/orange lights. The object was silent.

The night was clear and there was no cloud cover.

I immediately tried to find a witness and when I returned the object was gone.

Irradiating orange cylinder over the Mojave Desert during Perseid Meteor shower.

Went hiking up in the Rademacher Trail to watch the Perseid Meteor shower. As your eyes adjust to the dark, there was ONE cloud in the sky. Black. It started having what looked like heat lightning and my friend was like ((two words deleted)) do you see that? Is that something to do with your base? (I worked at China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station in the Mojave Desert). I was like hell no. It dropped out of the cloud, glowing bright orange and cylindrical. It was irradiating (I do science work). It was dead silent. If I had my phone on my I'd be rich right now.

I have never believed in aliens until that night. I was sober. If you've ever seen an irradiating orange cylinder, give me a shout. ((e-address deleted))

Saw an oval lit object then a strobe light shortly thereafter

It was my second night stargazing this summer and I saw two unique objects.

The first thing I saw could have been a high flying aircraft. The craft had several white lights that I could see. What I found unusual was the lack of sound as when the object flew over going south to north I heard no sound.

When I first saw the object, I thought it was a satellite but when the object came closer towards me I could see individual creamy white lights on it. The white lights were solid and did not strobe. The object also seemed to be oval in shape as I could see an oval or boomerang shaped front that was silhouetted in the night sky. I did not observe any red or green lights on the object. At 45 degrees, I would estimate the size of the craft was about a quarter to an eighth of the size of my thumb.

The second thing was a bright strobe-like light that lit up the sky. Not sure where or what caused the strobe but it was very bright and white. The light was seen in the south to southwest sky.

Note: The light strobed vertically towards the ground and not across the sky. It was very bright and I could not see a light source.

Multiple lights in the sky, burnout.

Driving north from San Diego to Mammoth Mountain, just after civil twilight, our vehicle witnessed a series of lights lasting about 5-10 seconds in front of our vehicle (north). It was a definitive 5 lights burning heading in a left-wards vector with the lead light being the brightest. The driver of our car pointed it out. We all had a few seconds to look and remark on how we thought it was aliens. A few minutes (10 or so?).

We witnessed the same thing again. Tried to get video, but the event ended before we could get any video.

Perhaps this was meteors in the atmosphere, but this did not look like any shower I had witnessed before. Very amateur observation, but I figured I would report it.

Saw unidentified orange spherical object, first witnessed at 2:48 in far southeastern sky. Watched it maintain a natural orbit until 2:51, when it reached the far northeastern sky.

Object started to curve west, then wander for for a bit, before it faded out just west of Neptune from my viewpoint at 2:53 AM, flaring about two or three times before it faded.

It was bright enough to capture on phone camera.

Bright light gradually diffused into a cloud. There was a cloud/fog surrounding the light before it became diaphanous.

We saw it in the western sky about 6 p.m. (1800) What I saw looked like the moon emitting light except the white light was surrounded by a cloud or fog-like material. The white light emitted a ray type light through the cloud/smoke cover.

The rays of light quickly dispersed into a cloud. There was cloud cover around the object as it became a diaphanous object when it dispersed.

It was really strange.

Saw several flashes of bluish white light in or near the Sagittarius constellation

At approximately 2100 we decided to head outside to star gaze. Immediately upon going outside we noticed flashes of light located in the area of the constellation Sagittarius. We observed the flashes of light for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

The flashes of light looked like the flash you would see when a camera flash is used meaning the lights would suddenly appear, remain in the same position, and then disappear without leaving any light trails. The flashes were colored a bright white light with slight bluish overtones. Overall, we saw approximately 8 to 10 separate flashes in or near the constellation Sagittarius.

We checked Heavens Above.com and discovered the ISS was not in the area at the time of the sighting. Also, there were no scheduled meteor showers for our location during this time period.

Silent Blue Light

I was standing on the front porch and watching vehicles driving in the mountain South of the city when a solid blue light came into view from the South West and it proceeded North East and speed and altitude rapidly.

It went right over the South East corner of China Lake base on a trajectory heading over Death Valley.

It was the color blue a cop car light would have and had a haze around it. Possibly the haze was due to light cloud cover. There was no noise associated with the object.

The craft was flying south when I first noticed something in the black empty sky out in front of me up in the sky. I don't know how high.

It had 3 lights all white and round.

The craft flew slowly the whole time, that's why I noticed it. No sound at all.

It would just glide, stop for a few seconds, zig zagged then proceeded to bob up and down, 4 times each.

The craft made a UTURN and flew north while repeating the same maneuvers.

When it hit the same spot that it began at...the lights just faded away.

The kids and I saw a UFO tonight.

Below is the report from my daughter: Just got out of Jeep on curb, talked with name removed and turned around to see a bright orange light in the sky. It was moving fast, looked to have been relatively low due to lack of light distortion. from the west to an almost south-east heading, where it seemed to fade, either as it got farther, or dimmed.

This is the other daughter's report: I was outside with name removed when she told me that she saw something at around 9:35 tonight. We had just gotten home from seeing name removed, and were about ready to walk in the doorway. After she hollered for my attention, I noticed that there was an orange orb above our neighbors' house. I ran in for my camera, got you, and began taking pictures. And as we observed, it moved west with us and name removed following both name removed and I and we observed it until it was no longer in our sight.

Here is what I saw: An amber orange object hovering in the northeast sky. The object was a solid orange seemed to have two points of light one above and below the object. I think this could have been caused due to the brightness of the light as once the object started moving the point of light faded away.

I observed object for about 1 minute before it started moving slowly in a northeast direction before fading from sight.

NOTE: I could not see individual lights on the object, but I could see them in the enclosed photo. I have noted this in the characteristics section of this report.

There were three witnesses to this sighting that occurred around 9:40 p.m.

We saw a pair of stationary, red-orange lights when we started home, one vanished, the other created a new object shortly after.

I was heading North, on the way home from a friend's house on New Years. Saw a pair of stationary, small, red-orange lights in front of us, to the sky north, slightly northwest, one to the up and left of the other one. I was watching with my friend, who was driving me home, and we entered a small bend in the road. Our view was blocked for a few seconds by a tree, due to the curve, and when we had a clear view, the left light was gone, leaving only the one that was on the bottom-right.

We went North for two minutes before turning East, and nothing else changed during this time. I kept watch while my friend watched the road, and I saw the object flare up, like fire does if it comes into contact with a new chemical substance. It sort of shrunk into a four pointed star shape then brightened and became much larger, white in color, before going back to orange and dropping an orange object that looked to fall to Earth. The new object was the same size and color as the other one. The new object disappeared a little bit above the ground, from our vision.

Then the first object started fading, like a satellite that is going out of the sun's light, gradually becoming dimmer. It disappeared for a minute, then appeared again, in the same spot. It then kept fading in and out, almost like it was pulsing very slowly. It disappeared just before we reached our destination.

I had just woke up and I opened up my bedroom window and then went to my kitchen window and opened it up to get the airflow going.

As I opened up the kitchen window, I saw a red object going from the southeast to the northwest at a high rate of speed.

This object was about a half a mile away and approximately 500 feet off the ground. It was maybe 20 feet in length and 5 feet in height This object was traveling from civilian air space to over military airspace and made no sound at all. However, I did hear one out of place sound as this passed by. I heard what sounded like a hawk.

If this was a hawk, it was big, fast and glowing. The glow was not a solid glow. In other words there was more than one light. Maybe about five lights from front to back.

Three to four whitish/yellowish lights lit up sequentially over southern sky of Ridgecrest, California seen by 4 observers

I was driving home from China Lake, California to my home in Ridgecrest, California on January 9, 2012 at about 6:03 pm and I saw a big, bright whitish/yellowish light appear about 20 degrees above the horizon in the southern sky. Then a second bright light appeared diagonal to the upper left of the first light, then a third bright light appeared diagonal to the upper left of the second one. The first one then went away and I saw another light appear diagonal and to the left of the third light. It was difficult to discern if the lights were moving closer, but for the most part it seemed they weren’t moving much, if at all. A couple of seconds later, in order from right to left they went away...I pulled over on Mahan Street and rolled my window down to try and hear an engine or anything but I didn't hear or see anything then. I got home and when my husband pulled up ~5 minutes later, I was pointing out to him where and what I saw and my neighbor pulled in ! his driveway and asked if I had seen the UFO too...he described it EXACTLY the way I did. Then I found out my husband, right before he got home and after my sighting, had seen one bright light about 30 degrees above the horizon around 6:08 pm (he was going downhill into a dip on the same road) and the neighbor said he had seen that one too. I posted my sighting on facebook and my friend who lives here in Ridgecrest said her Dad told her he had seen the same thing.

Captured pictures of this unusual cloud formation that looks like 2 disk attached to both sides of a larger center disk.

Was traveling back into town from Lancaster CA to Ridgecrest CA with my friend and his dad. Upon driving down the road we came into view of an unusual cloud formation that was very different from the clouds surrounding it. All 3 of us in the vehicle noticed it right away and jokingly stated "uh-oh the aliens are invading!" But even though we joked about it something was telling me to document it with pictures as I felt I would never have the opportunity to see a rare unusual cloud formation such as this. After driving down the road for about 10 minutes I noticed that the cloud was not moving or dissipating like most shaped clouds would over time which then peaked all our curiosity even more. We were able to watch as this cloud formation didn't change for the entire time it was in our view before we came around the bend of Red Mountain which then blocked the view of the formation, which was a time frame of about 20 minutes or so. I have shown the images I captured to friends and family over time since I took the pictures and was told I should post it which I did when I used social media(Facebook) at the time and received a lot of likes and comments about how it looked like a very alien looking cloud. I had since put it off ever reporting it to any major outlet as I didn't think as much that this could be more than just a cloud and also the fact that who would really believe this isn't just a cloud which I had told myself that's all it is and maybe that's all it really is. I am now reporting this after watching George Knapps alien investigation documentary featured on Netflix. I really kinda hope someone can come up with an explanation to the formation of this cloud and it really just be a cloud that was able to remain stationary and in form for that period of time we viewed it otherwise could I really have been sitting on slight evidence of extraterrestrial. And the fact that Ridgecrest is home to a NAW's base is what gets me thinking are we being observed by something far beyond our capabilities in technology, I don't know but I'm now very interested and beginning to investigate more about these strange cloud formation sightings. Not looking for fame into the matter which is why I'm hoping this whole report is anonymous, my sole purpose is to uncover and provide actual evidence that credits the claim of extraterrestrial life by UAO community who is trying to prove alien existence.

THE OBJECT STARTED EMITTING WHAT LOOKED TO BE FIREBALLS.

MYSELF AND TWO FRIENDS OBSERVED AN OBJECT COMING FROM THE NORTH TRAVELING AT A SLOW SPEED AT AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 20000 FT. ONCE I SHOUTED TO ONE FRIEND TO SEE WHAT I WAS SEEING, THE OBJECT CAME ALMOST TO A STOP, CHANGED DIRECTIONS AND HEADED EAST. AS IT TRAVELED EAST, IT SEEMED TO SPEED UP AND SLOW DOWN. IT DID THIS FIVE TIMES. AS THAT HAPPENED, FRIEND ONE SHOUTED TO FRIEND TWO TO COME SEE WHAT WE WERE WITNESSING. ONCE SHE CAME OUT, IT CAME ALMOST TO A STOP AGAIN. THEN WE SAW WHAT WAS OBVIOUSLY TWO JETS COMING FROM TWO ANGLES TOWARD THE OBJECT. ONE FROM THE WEST AND ONE FROM SOUTHEAST. THE VERY MOMENT WE SAW THE TWO JETS COME INTO VIEW, THE OBJECT STARTED EMITTING WHAT LOOKED TO BE FIREBALLS FROM THE BOTTOM OF IT. SHORTLY AFTER THAT, ITS ORANGE LIGHT FLICKERED ON AND OFF AND SHOT OFF IN THE SKY AND DISAPPEARED TO THE EAST. STILL IN AMAZEMENT FROM THIS EVENT, MY TWO FRIENDS WENT BACK OUTSIDE AND SAW IT AGAIN. THIS TIME IT APPEARED FROM THE WEST. IT HAD THE S! AME MANNERISMS AS BEFORE WITH THE WAY IT MANEUVERED. ITS LIGHT FLICKERED AGAIN AND LITTERALLY DROPPED FROM THE SKY. My roommate and I saw what looked to be a disk shaped object cruising the night sky. It looked to be a very large craft. It seemed to be at an altitude that most helicopters maintain. There was no distinct sound where as if it were any other aircraft of human-kind, we would have heard it. There were approximately ten red blinking lights along the crafts outermost circumference. The object came from the southeast heading northwest. It made a sort of swerving motion as it traveled across the sky. It would look as if it would wobble when it would make a slight change in direction. Once it got further toward the northwest sky, it sort of disappeared in the overcast clouds that were rolling in from the west.

Hovering lights without sound

My boyfriend was unloading the car and it was dark. He saw some strange lights coming from the north that he recognized wasn't a typical plane. At first, it appeared to be planes flying in a formation but there was no noise. It appeared to him to be five sets of lights. The front light was flashing multi colors. Two white lights appeared to be behind those lights. As it changed direction the lights appeared to bank together so he realized that this wasn't a bunch of planes. He came inside and quickly got me to come outside and look at what he was seeing. At that point, the lights appeared to be hovering at a few thousand feet and there was no sound. what I can describe was a triangle pattern of red lazer type lights that moved in a erratic nonuniform pattern and above that was multi color lights of red, green, blue, white,yellow or orange that flashed the colors intermittently. As we stood there in shock, after about 2 minutes watching this, it slowly moved ! to the south and disappeared in seconds in the darkness.

Silent huge something hovering with red lazer type lights and multicolor lights above it.

My boyfriend ran inside the house where I was sitting on the sofa, only in a towel after just showering. he had been outside unloading our suitcase from the car after a trip. He said to me "Come out here NOW!!" He had a very serious look so I followed him out in my towel and stood on the porch. He turned me around and said, "What is that??!!" He pointed at the sky. As my eyes focused on the clear night sky, I could then see what he was talking about. Something very large was hovering what looked like across the street just above the houses at less than 10,000 ft. There was no noise and red lazer like lights were blinking quickly in a triangle pattern although not uniform but random. Above that were different color lights, blue yellow white, orage and green alternatingon and off, again, not in any uniform manner. I asked him in shock, "What is that??..." He responded he didn't know. We stood there for about two minutes watching it. I wanted to yell at a neighbo! r who happened to be in his garage at the time but again, I was only in a towel. Slowly it moved to the south and was quickly gone. We were both in shock. He said he had noticed it when unloading the luggage while it was flying from the north. He didn't believe what he was seeing and came in and got me. I threw on some clothes as we walked around the block to look for it. I had seen UFOs before while living in Colorado but nothing that close.

To this day, those light are imbedded in my mind. I think the multicolor ones reminded me of a Simon game and since then, went and purchased one to mimic those lighs. We haven't seen them again but I know they are still out there.

White starlike object traveling east before making an arcing turn to head north to northeast. When make the turn the object flashed or pulsed two brighter white lights. Imagine seeing the landing lights on airplane except these lights were pure bright white light. The object headed in a northerly direction and behind several large trees never to be seen again.

Time of the sighting was around 9:30 p.m. (21:30) local time.

I checked Heavens Above and found nothing that may match this sighting.

It was a busy night star gazing as I saw numerous unusual sky phenomena between Scorpio and Corona Borealis. All this took place between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. local time.

Around 9 p.m. I went out for my evening star gazing and watching the satellites go by.

At the start I saw what I can only describe as flashes of light in the sky. The flashes of light looked like a flash from a camera. Then I observed what I thought was a satellite until the satellite went from moving from a northern to southern direction to veering to a southwesterly direction. Satellites do not normally change their directional course as they cannot. They always move in the same direction without veering off course. This satellite seemed to be dark gray in color and was silhouetted against the night sky. I saw this with my naked eye.

Then I saw the similar flashes of light again. After this I saw another "satellite" that was moving across the sky. This time the satellite stopped, then let off a "pouf" of periwinkle to white color, then moved again.

I observed through binocs what seemed to be a lighted object with periwinkle and white lights. This satellite then moved and faded away.

Approximately a half hour later this same satellite reappeared towards the southwest portion of the sky and repeated the same set of movements and colorations before fading out.

I saw the flashes of light each time before the bluish white satellite reappeared.

This was also seen by another witness who was with me. This witness would like to remain anonymous.

I checked Heavens Above and could find nothing that might fit what we saw. Perhaps you can find something.

None of this stuff was close. It was all probably just inside the earth's atmosphere at a good guess.

Super Bright explosion after object hits the desert ground

Driving north tonight 17 Nov 2009 on CA Highway 395. I was driving from Lancaster to Ridgecrest and had just gotten off of Garlock road onto the 395. The time was about 11:05 pm. I saw a very bright ball trailing light, flying level for a few moments. Then suddenly it looked as if it impacted the desert off in the distance towards Ridgecrest. The impact looked like nothing I’ve ever seen before. No sparks or secondary fire explosions. It just lit up the entire sky in a Blue/White color. All I could say to myself was “what in the hell was that?” I sped up to try and get to Ridgecrest as soon as I could, I was concerned for my families safety. There’s a military base in the town and my imagination is running wild while I’m driving. I thought maybe it could have been an aircraft crashing into the town.. When I reached Ridgecrest everything looked normal and no emergency equipment out driving around. I am assuming what I may have seen was a meteor that! actually made contact with the ground. It’s the only thing that would make sense to me.

Triangular shaped object that flew over witnesses three times before splitting into 90 triangles and flying eastward

NOTE: TIME IS APPROXIMATE. WITNESSES DID NOT HAVE WATCHES ON BUT ARRIVAL TO AREA BEHIND COLLEGE NORMALLY TAKES 10 MINUTES. PROBABLE ARRIVAL TIME WAS AROUND 8:30 TO 8:45 P.M. AND A WITNESS MADE THE CELL PHONE CALL AROUND 9:11 P.M. BEFORE THE FINAL AND THIRD PASS WAS MADE BY OBJECT. GUESTIMATE OF OBESERVATON TIME IS PROBABLY CLOSER TO 30 MINUTES RATHER THAN 10 MINUTES REPORTED BY WITNESSES. THIS IS AN INTERVIEWER'S ESTIMATION BASED ON WITNESS REPORTS.

Witness 1 Time: 8:30 p.m. approximate Duration: Approximately 10 minutes. Time based from when they left the city and headed to the college. Witness is a college student and knows about how much time it takes to arrive to the local college.

Date: Sept. 12, 2009 Location: South of xxxx, near the El Paso Mountains, behind community college Weather: Clear sky, no wind Witness: Wears glasses is farsighted Size: The size of the craft was a pin head. When the object moved closer to the witnesses it was about the size of a the whole pencil head (not just the pencil lead) found on a mechanical pencil. The object was observed straight up from the witnesses during part of the sighting and later near the horizon when it moved from south to southeast across the horizon.

Observation: Craft: Triangle with sloping/rounded edges and underneath the UFO was a small triangle.

Lights: During the first pass the witness reported seeing strobing lights. The second pass the lights did not strobe but remained solid. The object had two side white lights and one front light which was larger than the side lights. The lights were on the bottom of the craft.

Craft color: Bronze/Gold colored metal with bottom lights. Structure of craft was triangular with a triangle on the bottom.

Windows: None Aliens/Humanoids sighted: None Sound: Heard whistle type hum (craft sounded like a combination of whistle type hum) in the air after the craft disappeared. The sound was heard when the craft appeared for a third time as it was heading southeast while leaving the area.

Experience details: Just got out of the car and parked in a dirt area behind the college. Three witnesses noticed a flashing object in the southern horizon. All the witnesses saw the object at the same time. Most thought it was an airplane. Witness 1 thought it was a UFO on the first pass. The object was straight up in the air then moved lower before it disappeared. The object just disappeared before the witnesses including witness 1. The object moved in a straight path in a northerly direction. The object then vanished in the southeastern sky. The witnesses started stargazing and discussed the various constellations observed in the night sky. Witness 1 saw the craft reappear in the eastern sky, about 45 degrees or close to the horizon, while stargazing and two two of the witnesses saw what it looked like. The third witness was on his cell phone and missed this. The craft was then golden metallic and triangular in shape. Kept moving normally, moving in a straight line, then disappeared again ! during pass two. The craft disappeared in the center of the sky during its second pass by the witnesses. Shortly after this they observed something twinkle over the El Paso Mountains. Then the object disappeared again. Shortly after this the witness heard a high pitched whistling type hum after the craft left the area in a south to southeast direction. The craft was seen flying over the local mountains when leaving the area.

Witness 1 reports a strong need to get out of there. Felt scared by the sighting. All the witnesses got in their car and left the area around 9:15 p.m. local time, because of Witness 1's strong desire to leave.

Witness 2 Time: 8:30 p.m. approximate Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.

Date: Sept. 12, 2009 Location: South of xxxx, near the El Paso Mountains, behind community college Weather: Clear sky, no wind Witness: Does not wear glasses Size: About the size of a small airplane (prop job) before breaking into three vertical pieces.

Observation: Craft: Triangular. Flashing lights in a pattern. All white lights. The pattern observed was: Center light was off while the side lights were on.

Right side back light on. The center light was off.

Left side back light on. The center light was off.

Cycled through in a regular pattern while crossing the sky. The craft flew close to the horizon during most of the sighting(s).

Lights: Cycling lights were seen through the whole observation.

Craft color: Craft structure looked metallic but color was not discernible. The craft was dark in color (couldn't describe color) with white lights that were solid. The actual lights did not strobe but they exhibited a pattern of cycling light formations. The craft color did become "orangish" with white lights when it broke into three vertical 90 degree triangles.

Windows: None Aliens/Humanoids sighted: None Sound: Mixed howl or a "like wind blowing through a mine" and the sound kept moving with the craft.

Experience details: Arrived at the trail head of the college, past the BLM sign giving the trail name, and parked in a dirt area. College was directly to the north of the witnesses.

Got out of the car and Witness 2 looked to the east and saw three lights. The two lights disappeared which caught the witnesse's interest. The lights were observed on the horizon. The lights stuck close to the horizon throughout the flight. Two of the witnesses were talking while Witness 2 observed the object fly east when the object was seen again. The craft turned south and moved in a southeasterly direction skirting the horizon. It was low to the mountain tops.

When the object was directly south of the three witnesses, Witness 2 saw the object lights "jump back" before continuing in a southeasterly direction towards Trona.

The object flew east before disappearing behind an easterly mountain range. Before disappearing over the eastern mountain range the object broke vertically into three triangular shaped objects which flew separately in formation. When the object broke apart the witness reported the craft became the color orange of a street light while the lights became white.

Creamy white ball which looked like the moon except it was about the size of large dime in the southeastern sky. The ball of light appeared, moved from southeast to east, before disappearing in the eastern sky. Duration was between 5 to 10 seconds. No sound. Clear skies with no wind.

Also saw several meteors that evening in the southern sky but this was different.

Time of sighting is approximate as we were stargazing and I was not wearing a watch.

I also wear glasses as I am nearsighted.

From Dim To Bright To Dim

On 9-6-08 I spent the evening watching for unexplained phenomena. Sunset was at 7:11 and I was situated at Latitude: 35°32'4.77"N and Longitude: 117°32'43.80"W I got the sunset time from the internet. I got my camera gear out and got it all set up so that I could be ready for anything. I sat down in my easy chair until it was time for the stars to start showing themselves to the world. One by one they appeared. If you are not fast while you are watching for the stars, they will sneak up on you. Looking at the First Quarter Moon that was to the south of my vantage point, there was a bright star/planet that showed up to the east of the moon and just a little higher in the night sky compared to the moon. It was very bright and steady. I turned around only to find a brighter star/planet on the horizon where the sun had just set. When I turned back around, there was a second star even farther east of the star that was near the moon! It too was bright. “sorry, I only know that a planet does not twinkle and stars do” I don’t know the names. Anyhow, I started my scan around the heavens to see what was appearing and by the time I got back to the bright star/planet east of the moon, I noticed something very odd. The star/planet to the left of the one that was near the moon was now GONE. One minute it was there and the next minute it was gone. I know it was not a plane as it just sat there in one place when I first noticed it. As the evening progressed, I noticed two objects passing on by. One of them looked like it was headed towards LA and about a half hour later I saw one that was headed north away from LA.

Ordinarily I would suspect that they were planes, but there were no strobes on these two objects that looked like stars passing in the night sky. Even though there was no strobe to them, I just noted them as planes. Same speed, no deviation whatsoever. It was about 8:30pm when I looked to the north and off of the big dipper to the right, I noticed this light. This light started to get very bright and all of a sudden, I had surmised that this thing was coming right at me. It just kept on getting bigger and bigger. I turned around and grabbed my camcorder and stand as a complete unit, and when I turned back around, I had to say to myself, what’s the use. It, by the time I turned around started to get smaller again. So I just stood there watching it as it eventually disappeared. This object did not go up, go down, go from side to side or anything. It was as if there was a very high candle power light that was being turned up and then back off slowly. This lasted for about 15 seconds. I have no idea what it was, but I can finally say: I have seen something in the nights sky that makes no sense to me. Twice… In one night… A disappearing planet and a light that made no sense. I would go back out again, but the bugs are so bad as the sun goes down that I did not have fun due to these bothersome critters. I was so busy swatting them that I lost sight of the fact that Rattlesnakes were out and about.

A video that is called "Contact has begun" with James Gilliland. I had never seen it before and I did not know it was James in this video when I downloaded it. I only downloaded it because of the title. The very first UFO on this video is exactly what it was that I saw on the above trip I took on Saturday. Instead of two, there was only one in my case and NOW I can finally say,,, " I HAVE SEEN A UFO " Now I am a minority. LOL

Ball of fire was dancing around in the sky above Ridgecrest, Ca at exactly 8:40 p.m.

We were driving north bound, when we saw a big orange light above us. The light was also heading north bound. My husband made a u-turn to park in an empty parking lot across the street to get a good look. When we parked, we were surprised to see the the light had also changed direction and was in the sky in front of us. The light became very bright and blurry. No matter how much we stared at it, neither of us could focus on it. It danced in the sky from side to side in an unsual pattern. I noticed three men across the street outside a coffee shop. They were also looking up at this strange object. It was a big ball of fire. The way it moved in the sky was unlike anything I have ever seen. Afer five minutes tiny balls of fire dropped from the huge ball of fire. When this happened, I got scared. I didn't know what was falling. I even told my husband to get back in the car. Several of these smaller balls of fire fell from the large one. As the objects fell, the original fire ball shrank in size until it was gone. Once it was gone, I looked back over to the men that were across the street looking up at it. I told my husband that we should drive up to them and ask them if they could make sense of what we had just seen. Unfortunately, they got in there car and left before we could get to them. Once again, this ball of fire dancing around in the sky was unlike anything I've ever seen.

orange light drops what looks like asteroids

An orange triangular craft that made no sound observed in the Mojave Desert.

While traveling northbound toward the China Lake Naval Facility approximately one mile from the base, I observed lights coming directly toward me. This is not unusual because there is an active airfield on base, however as the lights got closer I noticed that the aircraft looked different than the regular military aircraft. I pulled over to the side of the road and got out of my vehicle, so I could observe the craft in more detail. The craft was approximately 3000 to 5000 feet in altitude. It was triangular in shape, and the entire bottom of the aircraft glowed a dull hazy orange with about 6 or 8 brighter orange lights on the exterior of the craft. The brighter lights were not strobing as are typical with normal aircraft. While observing the craft it seemed to slow down and hover directly overhead. I would guess that it was about the size of a large jet fighter or perhaps a little bigger. No sound was coming from the craft, which would not have been the case with a typical helicopter or jet aircraft. After 20 to 30 seconds the craft again began to move southward. At that point, I got back into my vehicle and proceeded north 300 to 400 meters when I noticed a second person pulled off to the side of the road, out of his vehicle, and observing the same craft. I am a physicist who has worked on the naval base for 15 years and have never observed a craft like that before.

Hovering orange light, able to accelerate with incredible speed and stop immediately. With Bnoculars it appeared to have a smaller same colored trailing sphere, that orbited around it, then disappeared either into the main sphere or was just out of view. Appeared to energize then would go dim and accelerate extremely fast and able to come to a dead stop immediately.

I have seen this twice, both times with witnesses, but i failed to report it the first time. i saw the first one a few days before it was reported in the paper, and i have two witneses to that. the second one, the one i am reporting, i saw last night with one witness. it was a bright orange circular thing that hovered rather than flew across the sky. it stayed bright steadily as it floated across the sky, and after about a minute and a half it started to flash. it flashed for about 30 seconds, and as it did that, i could see that it was an object. it then winked out and disappeared. the previous sighting was about the same, but it went in a completely different direction than the one i saw last night. i would not report this if i thought it were some sort of aircraft. this was like nothing i had ever seen before.

Bright orangish ball of light in northern desert....

My daughters were coming out of a store and noticed an extremely bright orangish light above them. They described it as helicopter heighth and there was no sound. They rushed home and told me to come outside and I also saw an extremely bright orangish ball of light in the sky looking west. It was much larger than any star, plane, jet, helicopter we have seen here.

It did not move but suddenly something like a bolt of light flashed out of the bottom of it (similar to a spark) then it slowly got smaller and smaller until it disappeared.

10/28/04 03:35 traveling north noticed an object (orange) 3 times brighter than venus to the northwest just above the mountains. Continuing northbound a 1/4 mile the object moved behind a cirrus cloud where a large brilliant flash took place. Continuing another 200 feet the object was in front of me approx 1000' up/away.

It remained stationary for 20-30 seconds,at this time a black dot top left was visible,then disappeared.

No sounds, no lights, no change in color,no trails.

Orange, transluscet, plasma-like sphere traveled overhead from west to east, observed 10 sec.

At first the witness, who does not want to be identified, said "Mary do you see that"? I looked towards the south and observed a plasma-like orange ball move west to east across the horizon and straight overhead. According to the unidentfied witness, the size of the object was a pea if held at arms length. The plasma-like sphere was orange, translucent, and you could see some ragged dark (black) area towards the middle. The outer edges were orange. The weather was clear with some wind. We did have a full moon, or close to full moon, so the night sky was well lit by moonlight. The moon was to the east of us at the time of the sighting. My name is ((name deleted)), am employed as a ((profession deleted))r, and have lived in this area for almost 30 years. I do know what satellites look like since we spend summer evenings trying to pick them out as they fly by the area. We live in the high desert and most nights are clear. The unidentified witness is approximately same age as I am and has a scientific background and training. This was significant experience for the unidentifed witness.

Ridgecrest CA Documented 20 Sept., 2003 Sighting of unknown flying craft: Date: Wed 23 Feb. 2000 Time: Late afternoon, estimated about 5PM (Journal entry made at 5:30PM.) Location: Eastern Kern County, near Ridgecrest, CA.

Observer Coordinates: 35deg.,35min N Lat.; 117deg.,42min W Long.

Vehicle Flight Path: Over undeveloped desert, managed by US Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

The time was late afternoon, about 1 hour before sunset, clear visibility. The day had been blustery - moderate wind, partial cloud cover. I was inside, sitting at my computer when gunshots from a wash about 1/4 mile away diverted my attention. I gazed out my 8'W x 4'H picture window to the south to see if I could see the shooters. My house borders undeveloped BLM desert land; the view is unobstructed except for some low-lying bushes in the foreground. The desert floor slopes gently upward on an alluvial fan for about 2/3 to 3/4 mile, backed by low hills known locally as the Rademachers; a topographical map of the area indicates the crest of the nearest peak is 1.1 mile distant and 430 feet higher in elevation than my vantage point inside my house.

I couldn't see the shooters, but after a few seconds my attention was drawn to a rapidly moving object at the right-hand-side of the window. My first thought in the first fraction of a second was that it was a bird. Quickly I realized it was not a bird, but rather some sort of aircraft. It followed a straight horizontal path - no flapping or deviation which would be typical of birds in flight. We do have soaring birds in this area, but this was obviously no soaring bird either. The object traveled from right to left (generally west to east) across my field of view defined by the window. It was low in altitude, staying below the crest of the hills at all times, so lower and closer to me than the 1.1 mile, 430 foot elevation peak mentioned earlier; but apparently near the base of the hills where they transition to the alluvial fan. So with the aid of the topo map I have been able to make a good estimate of the object's distance and elevation: I estimate it was 2/3 to 3/4 mile distant and no more than 100 - 200 feet above the terrain it was flying over. It is unusual for an aircraft to be flying so low in that area - certainly in violation of FAA regulations.

Since I saw only a profile view at a distance, I can't say much about the appearance of the craft. My sense is it more closely resembled a small private plane than a military jet in size and profile. But it seemed thinner in profile than a private plane. My sense is there was a vertical stabilizer at the rear; I am not very sure of that. I can make a rough guess of the length of the craft. Its angular length was no less than 1/8", no more than 1/4" at arm's length (30"). At an estimated distance of 3/4 mile, this would be equivalent to 16.5 to 30 feet in length for the object or about 23 feet +/-7; at 2/3 mile the estimated object length would be about 21 feet +/-6.

Field of View: My view through the window can be determined quite accurately from the dimensions of the window and my vantage point. It is close to 36 degrees. Scaling this on the topo map yields a distance of about 2500 feet or just under half a mile that the object was in my field of view, assuming a nearly west-to-east flight path near the base of the hills.

Duration of the sighting: This is my worst data point. It was all over in a few seconds. But was it 4 seconds, was it 8? I guess 5 to 6 seconds from when I first noticed the moving object on the west end of my window until it reached the east end. Let us assume a time of 5.5 seconds in my field of view. For a 2500 foot flight path this results in an estimated speed of 455FPS or 310MPH for the craft.

After a short lapse (2 - 4 seconds?) I thought: "I must get outside to see if I can see this thing continue its path." I rushed out of the house to look toward the east (have timed it since - takes about 8 - 10 seconds). I saw no more evidence of the craft, nor was I aware of any aircraft noise in the vicinity. My biggest regret is that I didn't hurry over to see if the shooters had seen the craft. They were closer to it, and of course outside so could have heard sound during its passage. Sadly, I did not attempt to contact them.

Observer is a retired physicist, amateur astronomer and one-time private pilot. He is a long-time resident of the area and is well aquainted with the terrain over which the craft was observed to fly. Observer has 20-20 vision when wearing corrective lenses, was wearing glasses at time of sighting.

NOTE added 23 Sept. 2003: It wasn't until 16 Sept. 2003 while starting to document this sighting that I realized it has characteristics similar to a Tomahawk cruise missile; in other words, perhaps it was a Tomahawk at low altitude. Since the sighting occurred a short distance from the boundaries of the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), this may not be an unreasonable hypothesis. A web search revealed several unclassified press releases of Tomahawk flight tests which have terminated at China Lake, but none were found for any time in February 2000.

we were checking out the STELTH flying overhead when we (3 of us) seen 3 objects flying overhead ,they flew out of sight when we seen 2 more stationary .I went 2 get the binoculars and seen yet another on the way in the house. Came out side they wre gone. Then another apeared. got camera ( movie)

I'm pretty sure 3 of us seen ufo activity on 4-8-99 at 2:30p.m. the skys were clear.We had went out 2 play horseshoeswhen we seen the STELTH and it's chase plane fly overhead.All of a sudden we seen 3 white objects flying away from the area where the Stelth was flying.We watched them till they flew out of sight. All of a sudden in that same area we seen 2 more objects staying in a still mode so i told my friend 2 get the binoculars.While one of us was doing that the other 2 of us seen yet another ufo object that apeared to be well it looked like a star just sitting there. My friend came outside and said he couldn't find the binoculars so i went around to the front where i seen yet another off in the distant.I went in the house and when coming out they were all gone. We waited about 15 minutes and got ready 2 play horseshoes when i looked strait up and there was another one.I got the binoculars and looked up to see what looked like maybe a weather ballon but as quick as i thought that it changed to look like a rectangle silver shape.I gave the binoculars to someone else and ran in the house to get the movie camera! By the time i got that ready it must have been a couple of miles away. Anyway i did get it on film where it made a classic ufo move, firsta quick move in one direction then another couple of quick moves in another direction.It sudenly disapeared or i lost it from my vantage. thats it!!

Fireball object SouthWest of Ridgecrest, CA, drops below hills and disappears.

This happened approximately 10 years ago, so my details on the exact time and date are a bit sketchy. It was sometime around 10 pm in the spring/summer time.

A friend and I were driving west on Downs Blvd (he was driving, I was in passenger seat), moving into the Ridgecrest Heights area (which is very dark at night at this time). Sky was cloudy and had been sprinkling earlier, clouds approximately 3000 to 4000 feet. There were no aircraft that were discernable in the sky below the clouds.

At the same time, we both suddenly noticed a bright, fireball-like object that appeared to come down from the cloud level and drop below the level of the hills to the SouthWest of town. It's color was a deep reddish-orange. It seemed to drop much slower than an object on fire would fall. The object lit up the clouds and hills below it as it dropped, and once below the hills disappeared. Due to the distance (approximately 5 miles from where we were driving) I was not completely certain, but it appeared to NOT be trailing smoke at all.

My friend turned to me and asked "Did you see that?" I confirmed that I had. We both discussed it for a few more minutes, initially thinking perhaps it was an aircraft from nearby China Lake Naval Weapons Center that had gone down... but rejected this thought later as there was no flash or explosion or otherwise once the object fell below the hills, nor was there any sound of explosion at all (we would have heard it from the distance we were at I am certain). The color of the object also bothered me, as the fire on most burning aircraft is much lighter... yellowish orange. As I worked on the China Lake site for a Government contractor at the time, I assumed that it would be common knowledge of a plane went down from either China Lake or Edwards Air Force Base... however, no one I talked to had heard of the incident, and no aircraft was reported to have gone down at that time. Not sure what the object was... and had forgotten about it until I found this site. Initially I dismissed it as some strange anomaly, but after reading more and more of the sightings posted here, I have become fairly convinced that my friend and I witnessed some sort of craft that night.

A quick note on the hills in question - These hills are largely rolling hills West of town and have little real height. Ridgecrest sits in the bottom of the China Lake valley, so seeing beyond the hills is impossible when in the town itself. However, due to their small height, any large explosion or other like flash would easily be seen above / behind these hills.

Background info - I am currently a 33 year old male who grew up in Ridgecrest (living now in WA State). I am a Computer / Network Systems Analyst. I grew up in Ridgecrest, and was always fascinated by aircraft. As a result of living near China Lake and Edwards AFB, I was able to determine the silhouete of just about any US aircraft at close and distant ranges. Working on site at China Lake I also was privy to viewing testing of missiles, bombs, and other such weapons, which accustomed me to seeing burning aircraft in flight and falling debris from such tests.

Around 7:20 p.m. I left a friend's house in the 700 block of Commercial Street to head home after having dinner and chatting. I was carrying my toddler daughter (15 months old) out to my car when I noticed what I thought was a small airplane preparing to land at a nearby airfield. I put my daughter in her car seat and started my 1963 Dodge Dart and the non-factory installed car radio came on. When the radio started, I heard three electronic beeping sounds (like a microwave oven beep) and the KRTH-FM music was heard. I drove home, heading south, and parked the car at the curb. As I was getting out of the car, I looked up and saw an object over the house. I shut the car door, and stood in front of the car door, then leaned against it. I saw a dark, non-reflective saucer shaped object, over the roof peak. The object and a red, green and white light along the bottom. The lights did not strobe or twinkle. They were solid in color. Trained as a reporter, I made a mental checklist and started making observations of what the craft looked like and what it did. I noticed the dark metallic color, the lights and the lack of sound. Then I thought I myself, if you are a UFO do something to prove it. At this point, the UFO shot straight up in the air and hovered over the house. It did this three times moving up and down over the house. Also, the mostly full or full moon was to the left of the craft (south of it) and should have backlit the UFO. It did not. The only sound I could hear was faint fanlike sound. I had to strain my ears to hear that. By this time, I started looking for a neighbor's house to go stay at, but no one was home. I live in housing tract and usually someone is home. I finally got scared, after the third time the craft shot up in the air, and grabbed my daughter to make a run for the house. At the front door I fumbled with my keys but finally managed to get inside the house. I then ran and turned on the television for comfort and heard the final minutes of the Jeopardy game show which would have bee! n around 7:50 p.m. I used this to estimate the time of the UFO sighting. Once inside the house I did go to the back sliding glass door but was afraid to look outside.

I was able to give three points of where I saw the UFO and the distance was estimated between 85 to 100 feet. I'm nearsighted so for me to make out the craft, etc. meant that it was close.

The weather was cool, clear with no wind.

The following information was reported to MUFON and they have most of my UFO sightings in the 1980s.

After the incident I suffered from chronic neck and back pain. I still suffer from the pain, although it has abated with time. I did see a doctor about the neck pain approximately one week after the incident.

Before this experience, I was a skeptic of UFOs, but always said I would believe in them, if I ever saw one.

To Whom It May Concern:

7/11/10 As many people do I did not talk about what I saw for fear of being classed as nuts. After so much information became public I started to mention it.

In the fall of 1978 I was working at the China Lake Naval Weapons Center and living on the military base. As a friend and I were entering the rear gate, I looked over at him and something caught my eye. I told him and he looked over and saw it too.

We pulled off the road onto the dirt shoulder and saw a car behind us also pull over. We sat there for maybe 10 min. and watched this saucer type UFO (rounded dome on both top and bottom and the saucer type middle) hanging over the middle of town. An illuminated cloud surrounded it.

After a while, it all of a sudden swooshed back really fast heading south west it just flew faster than anything we had in 1978 or now. The illuminated cloud hung there for quite a few minutes the cloud dissipated and was gone.

The Gentleman I was with and I talked about what we saw. We both saw the exact same thing. I’m assuming the car behind us saw the same thing since we both did.

Being a small town I expected something would be published in our local newspaper but it never was. After so long of not finding it in the newspaper I decided to put aside and not mention it. Our town at that time had maybe 12000, 13000 people and some one other than us must have seen it.

In 1996 while still living in Ridgecrest I was headed west on hwy.178 and then south on hwy.14 to pick up 178 again after a few miles. While I was climbing up the hill a light caught my eye. It was speeding fast and was a completely round bright light. I watched as it went behind the peaks and then into the clear and then back behind the next peak.

OK, I feel really stupid seeing two UFO’s in my lifetime but I did. I still remember the name of the man I was with and know where he went back to his hometown. He was a very nice honest person and so am I. I would even be willing to take a lie detector test.

I visited Roswell NM in April and after seeing all of the information there I decided to inform someone.

I'm 65 yrs, old and not in great health. I would like to find out what professionals like you think of it, especially since we were on a military town. The object was not over the base.

I saw 2 UFOs, one looked like a jet over Edwards Air Force Base, and the second along Hiway 395 bordering Edwards

I had 2 sightings in 1973-1974 on the California desert north of LA. I worked at China Lake, a Navy base, and had seen a large variety of military aircraft in the air and in projects that I worked on.

Note: In 1974 there were no cell phones, and I didn't have my camera handy.

#1: In the Ridgecrest, the town adjacent to the Navy Base, I was looking out my window to the south and saw what I thought was a military jet above Edwards Airforce Base. It was silver and appeared to be flying in my direction, though far away. Suddenly, it turned to the right and flashed off to the west toward Bakersfield, much faster than any military jet.

#2: While driving from Ridgecrest to LA on Highway 395, along side Edwards Airforce Base, I saw a large cigar shaped craft flying just above the power lines and fence. It was brown and looked like a rusty "Borg ship" with pipes and hardware on the outside, and was maybe the length of 3 cars, end to end. It did not resemble any military aircraft I had ever seen. I have never seen anything like it before or since, nor have I heard of any such sighting. My husband was driving, and didn't see it because he had no time to turn around.
