8 orbs in a horizontal formation then start splitting up into groups of 4 and slowly fading in and out

Me and my 2 friends were checking out the stars in pebble and 8 or so fiery orange orbs popped up flying together in a horizontal line, at least a mile up into the sky, then after we had all acknowledged it, it began to shift into groups of 4 while the other lights went away, each orb being a pretty long distance between the other. Then we recorded the rest. Didn’t see anything once they went dark.
