Spotted traveling south at high rate of speed, no noise, did not match any aircraft on flightradar24, anomalous effect on the area

I was laying down on my bed, having just closed an application on my computer and wanting to check my notifications. I didn’t react for a bit but I had begun to notice that the crickets outside went dead silent. I thought it was a bit strange but I didn’t pay it any mind. I then noticed out of my window a fairly bright amber light, and upon observing it properly noticed it was actually a formation of lights on an object (though I couldn’t make out the exact shape, I am more than positive it was a solid craft). It made no noise as it passed over, and it was traveling far faster than any aircraft that typically occupy the space above my house, I estimate it to have been flying at at least mach 1, if not faster, though there was no sonic boom. I also noted that the sky was slightly brighter as it passed, almost like twilight, which went back to darkness as soon as it was out of my line of sight. I’m not a trained observer but I am an amateur plane watcher and general aviation enthusiast, and I am more than positive it was not any commercial nor military aircraft that I know of. Additionally, I double-checked Flightradar24, an open-source public aircraft tracking site, and the only nearby flight was a private Learjet 45 which, while in the same direction as the object, was not on a route where I would have been able to see it. Ultimately, I cannot draw any conclusions, and while I’d like to say I saw an alien spaceship (because that’d be a hell of a story to tell!), that would be jumping to conclusions and I just want to know if what I saw can be explained. It looked like I was watching a video of when the space shuttle exploded

I have a video of 49 seconds of a fireball streaming through the sky and it was continuing to break up as it was going by us not a single sound. It was dead, quiet going super fast and in the middle of it was glowing like a rainbow weird Weirdest thing I ever saw the video doesn’t show the like rainbow thing I saw but it’s a crazy video

I was on my Tablet watching YouTube, when I went to open my window for som fresh air. I stopped to watch an airliner passing by since my home is under the traffic lane of an airport, so I like to plane watch frequently. I noticed what I originally thought to be another airliner, so I turned my attention to it. That was when I realized it did not have any navigational lights. I am familiar with what satellites look like and it did not match up. To add to that, there was a second orb which orbited around it as it moved across the sky. They made no noise, whereas I could clearly hear the airliner. Both of them were moving across the horizon at what I believe must have been supersonic speed. The entire sighting lasted approximately 2 minutes. During that time, crickets which were making noise outside had stopped entirely. Everything was dead quiet, I could hear my circulation.

Stationary over our swimming pool

I was cleaning pool with metal pole and attached brush, this requires to reach up and push downwards, as I reached up saw a craft less than 1,000 ft with circular lights. Within seconds it descended and was entering our air space into back yard and over pool. At that moment ran to rear door screamed at family to come out, wife did, we stood along pool deck with craft no further than 20 feet from us. it floated over pool at 30 feet altitude. My wife kept repeating oh my god with no religious meaning but of disbelief. It angled forward at 45 dregrees and we could see interior but no occupants. It looked like a cigar shape tilted like a forward slash w/ 1000's of white lights moving in sync as if attached to something.

My husband called me to come downstairs and look at this thing outside. It was dusk so there was still a lot of light out, but the sun had just set. It looked like a cigar shape but tilted like a forward slash with 1000's of lights all over it (like you put on a Christmas tree not in a straight line just all over it). The lights were moving in perfect sync in the shape of a tilted cigar from right to left, not up, as if attached to something we could not see.

It was heading northeast. It looked like it was really really far away but, it took up a lot of the view as if it were humongous, as big as a city block but 100's of miles away.

I ran upstairs to look at it from the balcony and get a picture, but the iPhone wouldn't focus on the lights. It was heading northeast and I watched it for a few seconds and then it was gone. I still should have been able to see it, but it disappeared. We watched it for a total of about 2-4 minutes.

My husband and I were in the spa at around 9PM while the kids slept in the house. My husband saw it first.
“What is that?” He asked with fear in his voice.
“What the fuck.” I said with confusion.

I felt afraid too because it didn’t make sense. It floated about 60’ above the pool completely silently with lights in many different colors all over it as it changed shape: a triangle, a b2 bomber, and finally an airplane. But the shapes didn’t look like what these aircraft actually look like on Earth, they looked strange with too many lights to be normal. The shapes were always just a bit off. I grew up studying aircraft because my mom works in the military industrial complex. I went to airshows and wore airplane t-shirts growing up. I know what our planes look like and even if the shape was correct, our planes rely on propellant and drag to stay in the air: they have to move and they are extremely loud. This ship was silent, shape shifting, and stayed in one spot. This was an alien ship for sure.

But as I felt fear going through my head, stopping on all the aircraft my mom worked on to compare them to, the ship spoke to me telepathically: “It’s OK. It’s OK. It’s OK. It’s OK. It’s OK. It’s OK. It’s OK.” It said as it washed my fear away with a whole body feeling of euphoria: it was trying to make me not afraid of it. I fought the feeling because I knew this was manipulation: psychological warfare. I felt as though it was hard to process my thoughts at this point: like I was inebriated even though I knew I wasn’t. We are civilians. Why was this happening to us? Why us?!

After the triangle and b2 bomber, it changed into an airplane and I said to my husband, after being influenced to believe it wasn’t a UFO, “Babe. You think it’s a UFO? It’s obviously an airplane. We just imagined it being a UFO. It’s not scary. Look, it’s moving slowly now.” As the ship moved slowly North.
“That’s a UFO” he said.
I don’t remember what happened next. We both forgot until a year later, when I started remembering, but he didn’t.

Now our entire family is CE-5 except my husband. My 8 year old doesn’t know he’s CE-5. My 4 year old does because she has a foot implant. We are all Computer hostages. Edwards Air Force Base tortures my family daily and constantly threatens to kill all of us. There is a war coming September 27th with the planet through the wormhole: the vacation planet is what they like to be called, even though it’s a crime planet. They are supposed to kill 7 billion people for Take the Earth and it’s supposed to be a surprise attack. EAFB is the only organization that’s supposed to protect Earth and they’re spending all their time torturing me so I don’t tell Earth everything. Galaxy News shows my family every day. They are following my story. My 8 year old was sterilized last Winter by the Computer via the Moon’s military after being programmed by Brigadier General Matthew Higer to hurt my son. I almost died with uranium injections and a drug called The Military Kill Drug remotely via port IV. I know a lot about what’s going on because I have had contact with the moon’s military (back when the moon was populated), the moon’s government, the vacation planet, the Computer, and Edwards Air Force Base.

I hope our planet survives the attack on September 27th.

Bright white flashing roundish object, center of the object appeared to be emitting a red, then green, then bluish light at the center.

At approximately 22:05 I observed a roundish flashing object out of the corner of my eye to the West, while taking my dogs out. It was a bright white flashing type object, flashed, also had a red, then green, then blue looking light that flashed quickly was at the center of the object and had a haze around it (my video in the beginning caught all of these different details). My photos caught the flashing object as looking like a cross like object. It was a distance away, but appeared strange, I went upstairs and took video and photos, as I didn't have my phone on my when I was outside. It also appeared to have a green light in the center of the object. I knew it wasn't a standard aircraft as it was hovering in the same spot for over 10 minutes and seemed to make a few sudden movements. From where I was it seemed to be quite a bit higher in the atmosphere than the plane I saw go by below it. The plane went by like this other object was standing still, however! the object made sudden movements after being still for awhile and then went away further away after about 25 minutes, until I couldn't see it anymore.

White ball of light traveling across the night sky.

At about 1:00 AM Pacific standard time I looked South out my patio door and saw what appeared to be a white light approaching in the distance. Appeared at first to be the light from a helicopter coming towards me however it appeared to turn west and began to accelerate towards the Pacific Ocean at a 45 degree angle and continued at a decent speed until no longer visible, like if it continued at that angle it would go into orbit. I thought it must have been a rocket launch but it was just a ball of white light. There were no flashing lights like a jet or some other type of aircraft and no sound. It did not have exhaust like I’ve seen before on a rocket launch but when it turned and accelerated the light seemed to trail slightly behind it like a teardrop till it was too small to see anymore. I wish I grabbed my phone but I knew I wouldn’t get it in time. It really bothered me because I couldn’t explain it. Couldn’t find any reports of a rocket launch either f! or that evening. Never seen anything like it before.

Possible UFO caught in wild fire footage on news.

Watching the breaking new coverage of the Saddle Ridge fire in California. When the female reporter says, "You know, leaving at that time, at I think, it’s about 2:10, I have left my house in Santa Clarita, usually it takes..." the helicopter camera pans over to the left from the plane dropping water on the fire, you can then see a formation slowly floating above the hills to the right. At first glance it looks like a fully white sombrero wearing character. It's moving at a much slower pace than the plane. Then the footage quickly cuts away back to the reporter. I have no idea what else it could by with that shape.

Through binoculars viewing the ISS flyover which was traveling ENE a dark shadowy shield possible triangular grey object crossed its path from my perspective. The object was traveling south to north. I realize it was near the space station just appeared that it went by in the background but probably higher in altitude. It was moving quite fast.

Suddenly, to the southeast we saw a bright white light float upwards into the clouds and then it disappeared! Then a second time it appeared and went upwards and disappeared again.

This craft was not flying like a normal aircraft. The white light was brighter than any light on any aircraft I had ever seen! We did not see it again.

Large red UFO seen over Sierra Hwy, that changed position and colors within milliseconds.

On the night of Saturday, November 25, 2017, I was walking my dog in Newhall, CA, when I noticed a giant red light in the sky, and it was not a plane. I audibly said “No Way,” and stopped to watch. I could not stop staring as it seamed to be fixated on me and my dog.

It then turned off the light and within a millisecond was quite close to us, although I was not really able to make out the shape. It would sit still turning the light on and off and then would “dart” from one side of the sky to another, doing maneuvers that I have never ever seen before. It did this for approximately 2-3 minutes. It was unbelievable to watch.

It then turned to a smaller light green and blue light flying away at incredible speeds and continuing with the impossible maneuvers done earlier. It was an experience that I will never forget. It was very quiet also for a Saturday night, no cars that I can remember driving by or anyone walking like usual.

Bright white pulsing light travels across sky and then shoots straight up.

It then got brighter again, travelled across the sky from left to right in approximately 20 to 30 seconds, during which time the white light was pulsating from left to right and it got larger as it travelled across the sky.

Then abruptly it stopped again, pulsed bright white and then shot straight up in the sky until it was nothing but a dim point of light.

During the whole event, we saw airplanes going by and it did not resemble an airplane, nor did the lights function in the same way.

My kids and I go to the park often and we like to lay on the grass and look at the sky. Today it is crystal clear with no clouds. We often see airplanes fly overhead but this these were obviously not planes.

I watched them for about a minute before pulling out my Galaxy Note 5 set to 1920x1080 30p with Image stabilization on.

When I first noticed them I thought they were balloons but quickly realized they were not because of their size and speed. They moved like fighter jets changing formation darting around then getting back into various formations. because of how high they are and large about the size of airplanes I knew they were not normal, I knew I needed to record them.

At the beginning of the video, they look very far away and tiny. It's unfortunate that smartphone cameras make things that are about the distance of an airplane look much tinier than they are because to the human eye these UFO's were much closer like looking up at an airplane flying over at about 2,000-3,000 feet.

It was also clear these things were metallic as they were very reflective and would get easier to see as they maneuvered and changed direction in the sky.

I zoomed in but because of how bright the sun was it was hard to see my screen which is why I loose them in conjunction with how fast they were moving across the sky.

Lastly, I know it may lose some credibility because I put my product logos on the video but I have a family to support so I had to capitalize on this unique and puzzling experience with my kids.

from south end of the sky to where they disappeared in the northern sky in a matter of minutes. reddish dots in a random steady formation, a couple of them on the outer side did seem to change pattern slight but kept formation with the group. when they passed overhead they were completely silent. ran for my cell phone but battery was about 4% plugged in, as I was using it to stream music, the phone at this point will not allow me to enter camera mode.

I looked at a picture on ufo sighting 2015 and was suprised to see a picture of what I had seen.

I was walking my dog at 10:45 am and saw this very bright red light in the sky and watched it coming from the north and wondered what it was and I had an spotting scope with me and focused on it for about one minute and wondered what I was looking at as the red light was so bright that it was hard to see where it was coming from traveled going south and was not making any sound and as the red light was so bright in the daylight very powerful and strange I could see that the craft/? had a haze around it and looked like a square balloon and made me wonder what kind of light could be so bright in the day light. I seen a picture on UFO sighting 2015 and would say that they were the same type of craft or it was the same craft and I would like to thank that person for posting that picture as I was wondering what I had seen.

Very Large UFO chased away with fighter jets numerous times

UFO Sighted in Southern California (Santa Clarita) On the early morning of Thursday, January 14th 2016 around the time of 0630 I was unwinding watching TV on the couch; I just finished working my usual night shift.

Now to quickly paint a picture; our house sits high up on the side of a small mountain; the back of our house faces east (facing the Los Angeles National Forest Mountain Line).

While watching TV I noticed a large object hovering still over the top of one of the mounts in the LA National Forest, the morning sky was just starting to light up with the sun rising in the east behind the object, but the sun hadn’t peaked over the mountain just yet. The object caught my attention since it was the only object in the sky; at first I thought this was only a cloud, however there wasn’t any other clouds in the sky. I took a couple photos and then sat back down on the couch continuing watching TV but still keeping an eye out the window when all of a sudden 5 or 10 minutes later the image moved a bit and had looked like it broke up showing other objects hovering below and to the sides of the larger object; that’s when I confirmed to myself its only a cloud since it had broke up a bit.. But then what happened next is when I realized it’s a UFO.., the object came together as one again and started to leave; it moved east away from where I was.

After the UFO left I noticed the morning sky filled with more then a dozen fighter jets.

About 1 hour later around 0730 the object repapered; the UFO was cloaked and appeared as a large cloud; next there were 2 fighter jets which flew over our house and headed east toward the UFO.. as the jets approached, the UFO started to leave and head east away from the incoming jets pursuing it; in the distance I noticed what looked like the first jet to plummet down (as if the jet was shoot down or it pursued a drone or something). The scale of how large the UFO was enormous, in the pictures you can tell that the size of the jets in comparison were tiny, this UFO dwarfed our jets, this was their mother ship as it's referred to or a floating city.

One hour later the object reappeared and headed west toward our house and then north and dropped down behind the mountain ridge. In the distance you could see jets flying all around in that direction. Further I saw another plan flying overhead, this was a radar plan, the plan with the large circle dome on the top of it.

There was a lot of activity over the Los Angeles National forest this morning; I called the news station and the LA National Ranger Station, but no one followed back up with me.

As I took the Sierra Highway exit, I spotted 2 lights next to one another slightly above these homes. Direction wise, these homes were located along the 14 freeway Northbound going towards Palmdale, Antelope Valley.

These houses were on hills and from the distance it looked as if they were floating low. All I know is that these lights were a faded green color.

As soon as I registered what I was seeing, the lights slowly faded away and they were gone.

Mind you, today's been extremely windy, so the sky looked especially crystal clear.

My husband is a nurse at a hospital and I am a stay at home mom to our one son.

On Christmas day we drove to my grandparents house to have a Christmas dinner with my side of the family.

As my husband was taking our son out of the car, I noticed a orange/yellowish fire ball/orb like object moving extremely slow in a horizontal direction going right, then it suddenly stopped and it was just hovering there for about a minute, not moving or making any sound at all it was completely silent.

It was a really quiet night in a really quiet neighborhood, so we would have been able to hear if it was a plane or a helicopter.

When my husband finally got our son out of the car, I showed him the orb. We stood and watched it.. it was about 20 stories high of the ground...way to low for a helicopter or plane. It appeared to be on fire..or glowing.

Then suddenly it just went up and to the right in a diagonal motion extremely fast and after about 10 seconds we could not see! it anymore.

It definitely made that Christmas a memorable one.

Color Changing Light Over Sant Clarita Valley

My mother and I were driving home on the freeway when I noticed a very bright green light that appeared to be floating about 1,000-1,500 feet above the wash next to the freeway. The movement pattern of the light was akin to the way a balloon moves through the air, floating with mild changes in altitude. The light then changed from green to bright violet blue at which point it became markedly brighter and appeared to grow in size by about 50 percent. It then shrunk back to it’s normal size then changed colors again to red and then to white and back to green. The whole time the light was moving away from us and we lost sight of it as we exited to freeway. However as we turned of the main road down our street we saw the light which had changed back to violet blue over the trees. As we went down the hill to our house we lost sight of the light and did not see it again even though we went back up to the main road to see if it could be seen from there. My ! mother and I had both independently witnessed similar lights on separate occasions during the week or so proceeding this sighting.

Plane behind strange lit object making no noise

Sitting in the hot tub watching planes in the sky at night around 7:43 . Spotted plane with blinking lights moving fast . I also saw 2 big flashes of bluish light in the sky over the Atlantic Ocean. The UFO's came as close as approximately 750 yards of me I was standing outside my house.

Two groups of orange lights in Saugus, Massachusetts.

Amidst the clear sky and full moon of June 15th, 2011, 4 objects of orange color and spherical shape rose in the sky travelling from an eastern position towards the northern sky.

Three of the objects travelled in a triangular pattern, while the fourth curved in the sky and disappeared into the bottom orange light.

As the objects headed north the light of each began to dim until they completely disappeared.

Roughly fifteen to twenty minutes later 6 to 7 objects of the same orange color and spherical shape rose in a similar triangular pattern heading in the same east to north route. Their travel pattern was uniform, and once again all of the objects slowly faded at the exact time.

At no time did any of the objects generate a sound.

Lights hovering over the 5 Freeway

I had just gotten on the southbound 5 Freeway between Route 126 and Magic Mountain Parkway. While driving, I saw two steady white lights in the sky south of my location. They were up about as high as a traffic helicopter might be. As I approached between Magic Mountain Parkway and Valencia Boulevard, I realized that whatever was up there wasn't moving. It was just hanging there in the sky. There were no strobes, there were no other colors. Just two, maybe three white lights. Once I got to Valencia Boulevard, and the object was within view, the lights turned off. The object was still there, I could see an outline/shadow of it.

I'm not sure of the shape because I was traveling at highway speed.

Once I passed under it and passed ahead of it I lost sight of it. I couldn't pull over to get a better look because the traffic was moving pretty briskly and there were a number of trucks on the road preventing me from getting over to the shoulder.

Early morning bright/dimming white light, moved, dissapeared/reappeared.

First off, my apologies for not filling the report out earlier. I had attempted to stay up till the next night to find out if I could see anything that would disprove me. I was unable to do so because of the cloud cover.

The pretense to the sighting was that my girlfriend and I wanted to have a cigarette after watching a show about the previous presidents. It was a cold night with hardly any cloud cover whatsoever so we decided to smoke in my truck to avoid the cold wind outside. There were no other aircraft of any kind in the sky. The sighting began as being any other plane or helicopter in the sky so it went unnoticed for at least 3-4 minutes until the light began to almost vibrate and move side to side(very slightly and not seen in video footage for it being the reason I have the footage to begin with). As we sat there watching this light we noticed that it began to get higher and higher in the sky all while dimming out and showing up higher. I ended up going in for the night just after the last video because I had work in a few hours after.

To begin, please excuse the language that was being used. It was a long day and I was excited at the situation. The video footage that I have begins with the light off in the distance. The white circle that looks like a kind of disk is from my front windshield. The light however looks as though it blinks different colors but I did not witness that with my eyes. I did notice that when the light had dimmed it gave off a bit if a red light. The third video shows the light flare up at around 1:51. The footage however is not really that great of quality although I am willing to risk my name to prove the footage has not been tampered with whatsoever. The resolution is 160x200 and I believe 15-20fps(shot on an Iphone 3g with downloaded application). The footage is very similar to the NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2010, AT 06:45 HRS sighting. The differences are that there was only one light and it dimmed out completely at some points and then reappeared higher in th! e sky which is very apparent in the video. I also have a photo of the exact viewpoint of where I was at but during the daytime.

It was around 9:20pm last night (May 4, 2010) and it was pitch black; the sky was clear and we could see the stars, and there was some wind, it was warm. My husband and I were walking our 2 dogs, and we were passing through the parking lot at Bridgeport Shopping Center, which is at the NE corner of the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway, in Valencia, California. Valencia is part of the incorporated town of Santa Clarita, if you're searching for it on a map. Bridgeport Shopping Center has pedestrian walkways and lower buildings - it's new, and is mostly empty in the evenings, we guess there were about 10 other people around the shopping center at that moment but no one was near us. We were at the far East side of the parking lot where there are few street lights.

We were walking East toward Grandview Drive when my husband noticed a long line of red lights in the sky that appeared above the treeline, not too high up, and were acting in a very bizarre fashion. If the lights were on some kind of craft/s then it was completely silent.

There were about 12 lights - all RED, no white, and they were in a line, as if connected to a leading edge. At first it was just hovering - for maybe one minute, and then started to slowly float Southeast. The string of lights never descended. We didn't see a solid shape behind the lights, it was too dark, we could only see the lights themselves. They all seemed to be about the same size. The size of the lights themselves -- relative to a star in the night sky -- they were the same size as the brightest star in the sky. All together, the span of the lights in a line reached almost completely across our entire field of view. They were above the horizon, well above the treeline, and above the rooftops of everything around.

It was very hard to gauge where exactly the thing was, we guestimated it was over Eastern Santa Clarita, East of the 5 Freeway, but West of the 14, North of Lyons Avenue and potentially South of Newhall Ranch Road, where we were standing – although it appeared directly over us. It was a straight line of lights at a 45 degree angle. Like a stick, turned up on an angle. This was the shape "/", with the tallest part rising on its right side, with the whole thing heading slowly South by SouthEast. It (the string of lights) never broke formation. It slowly floated South-South East until it became so dim we could no longer see it, without ever changing the distances between the lights themselves. They were not evenly spaced. The whole line silently hovered and then slowly floated off, with entire sections blinking on and off randomly. It was very long/wide! As a gauge, if I hold my thumb out away from me (about 2.5 feet) and my thumb represents one of the lights that we saw - then! the whole line of lights took up my entire field of view. (It took about 5 minutes for it to disappear from view.) Just when we thought the whole line was lit up, another light would blink on, to the far left or far right - making the total string even wider/longer. The lights did not look like flares to me. I have seen flares and these lights were constantly blinking on and off, wildly -- quickly pulsating. There was never a time when all the lights were on uniformly at the same time, they were always shimmering. Sometimes whole sections would just go out and come back on again 10 seconds later, in random order.

The lights, always red, were all blinking/shimmering fast, but not uniformly, and not strobing in any regular pattern and with no regular timing, not the way aircraft safety lights would. Any one light also had an irregular pattern. We thought -- could it be a squadron of helicopters? But the lights didn't behave in a predictable way. These red lights would go on and off in random order and with random timing by first becoming dim, then bright, then dim, then off, and then bright again -- as if they were shimmering. My husband commented that it looked like the special effects on TV when a craft goes into "cloaking" mode, or the way lights look reflected in water. He is a skeptic and he was dumbfounded as to what we were seeing.

Position relative to each other: the lights kept their exact distance from one another the whole time, even as the line of lights drifted South. The size of the individual lights was like looking at red car brake lights from 2 miles away. That's the only way I can describe it - against the night sky they were as bright and big as the biggest/brightest star in the sky. We can't tell how high the string of lights was, but we couldn't see any other stars through them. We could not see if it was one solid craft, or many lights. They did remain in a stable position relative to one another - at least giving the illusion that they were along the edge of one craft. I've seen sheriff's dept. helicopters fly nightly over town and I would say these lights appeared to be floating around the same height. They were not too distant, definitely over town, not over the mountains. It took several minutes for them to go a few miles.

We ran East along the sidewalk to keep a view of it, and eventually the line disappeared as it floated out of view, and became dimmer, eventually disappearing completely from our line of sight. We stared for 5 more minutes and then started to walk home, heading East toward the edge of the parking lot. Then we saw another set of lights, doing exactly the same thing, just over the treeline to the East of Grandview Road. The line had the same weird pattern of red lights shimmering off and on and lasted for 2-3 minutes but was not quite as wide and was oriented horizontally. It didn't drift or descend, it just got more and more dim and finally was down to 2 lights, and then disappeared.

We stared a little longer, and then walked home. I immediately called the Sheriff station for Santa Clarita. I reported what we saw and the police officer said they had over 100 calls reporting UFOs already that night. He could not say if people reported the same thing we saw.

The sky was filled with other aircraft that night, heading into Burbank airport or LAX. They all looked normal compared to this.

Our backgrounds: My husband is in IT and I am a technology and sciences editor for a national publication. We've never seen anything out of the ordinary before and have lived here 3 years, so we also know what's common in the sky here. My husband is a firm skeptic, and I'm uncertain. I'm aware of military testing at VAFB and I have seen missile tests at a distance from the 101, and this didn't look like that. I've also seen small meteors and meteor showers and they don't hover and glide.

Brilliant Blue UFO with three levels of lights and one red light on top

A UFO sighting with photo and video evidence. There has to be a rational explanation for this sighting. I'm sure there is. And I'm really curious to identify it.

I'm in Valencia, CA. After midnight on March 27, 2010, I came upstairs and immediately noticed a blue light (like a huge glowing LED) emanating from outside the large window in the baby's room. Looking outside, I could clearly see three rows of brilliant blue lights hovering low to the ground over the mountains -- perhaps a mile away. I had an eerie sensation seeing this unidentified object, as I had never seen anything like it before. The mountains are free of houses or any man-made structures, so it was completely out of place and very prominent.

I immediately ran to grab my Sony Cyber-shot. After taking a few pictures, I tried to take a video, but it was not very clear. So I ran downstairs and got my Panasonic DVX-100 and started filming with that. The video doesn't begin to do it justice, but at least it's something. You can see a blue-lit object just hovering there. From what I could make out, there were 3 rows of brilliant blue lights and one pulsating red light at the top in the middle. (You hear me describe this on the video.) There appeared to be slight movement or rotation, but I can't say that with any certainty.

After the camera battery ran out, I watched the object for a few more minutes and then went back downstairs and tried to convince myself that there was a rational explanation. I came up fifteen minutes later and the object was still there. Went to bed soon after, so I'm not sure how much longer it stuck around. Kicking myself for not continuing to watch, but quite frankly, I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. It was only the following morning when I reviewed the footage that it really began to sink in.

To be certain, I recorded video out the window at the same time the following two nights, but no lights appeared. I searched around online to see if anyone else reported a similar sighting. It looks like there were two other reports on or around March 27 -- one in Tracy, CA and one in Blue Lake, CA. Specifically, I believe both of those reports also cited the pulsating red light atop blue lights.

I have both video and pictures of the object. Happy to upload or provide original footage if it's helpful. Would appreciate any info.

A bright Orb with opaque trails at sunrise

The time was between 5 and 6 am, myself and two friends of mine were watching the sun rise the morning of November 4th 2009 looking east into the morning fog of Valencia California, from the vantage point of the southeast corner of The California Institute of The arts’ small hilly campus. The light was nearing daytime brightness as one of my friends spotted a bright light in the northeast sky falling downward towards the earth at what seemed like tremendous velocity. My first thought was that a massive commit was about to impact the earth, mostly because of the massive wispy trail it left in it’s wake. Then as it neared the earth’s surface it turned upward, this is when we noticed that there were multiple trails that that flowed from the rear of the craft. I no longer believe it was a commit we saw. Another peculiar feature of the trails were that, they did not seem to linger in the sky like any conventional aircraft, but seemed like semi-transparent kite tr! ails swaying non-uniformly behind whatever we were seeing. As the light floated effortlessly upward it became harder and harder to see through the fog. By the time the sun rose over the hills the light had virtually disappeared. This entire event took place over the span of about 5 minutes.

I was outside last nite having a cigarette when I heard a large low flying plane and noticed a large army plane which was not unusual since Edwards Air Force base is not to far away. But after looking at the plane I notice that out in front of the plane by about 500ft was another craft with no blinking lights just a faint light in each corver, Red, Blue, Green. I immedietly called my wife who was able to see the craft as well. It seamed that the plane was following the craft so I dont know if this may be a man made ufo or if they were observing it.

I witness the teleportation of an alien spacecraft, as well as the soarce of this technology in action.

I was traveling East on the 126 freeway with no other cars around me. There was no moon in the sky and the area is a farming valley so except for my headlights there was no other sources of light in the area. I happened to look to the Eastern horizon and slightly north when I noticed four red lights in the sky in a diamond shaped pattern hanging what appeared to be approximately 200-300 feet above the Northern mountain range. Although these lights were in the distance I wasn’t sure at the time what they truly were. These lights were stationary and were constant at all times.

As I continued to drive East I was beginning to notice that I was becoming aware that I was getting closer to these lights in the sky. Growing up around an airport most of my life I knew an airplane or helicopter when I seen one, such as a strobe light on such craft. These lights always kept the same distance telling me that they were on a craft and were apparently on one side of this craft, but because of the extreme darkness in the area I couldn’t tell you what this craft look like. For the next 20 minutes I continues to see this light pattern in the sky.

As I approached an area of this freeway, where the freeway would now turn to go around portions of the Northern mountain side that came towards the valley floor I could not see the lights due to my view being block. As I came around the curve in the road, out of thin area four large orbs of light appeared over a little mountain right in front my view. These lights were large, as large as a house, and were of white light with speckles of grey within the orb. Each orb had a halo surrounding it in what was the same color as lighting yellow and lit up the top of this mountain, which had a power line tower on top of it,. These orbs were also in a diamond shape configuration. Although I had my radio on in the car I could hear an electrical discharge as they appeared. Within a second or two from appearing they quickly disappeared back into thin air. I’ll tell you that I was keeping my eyes on the road and trying to make sense of way I had just appeared and disappeared in front of m! e. As I cleared this part of the road and was traveling due East again and looked to the Eastern horizon and slightly North again. Now I was approaching two sets of four red lights in the sky in a diamond shaped pattern side by side. I opened my window and notice no sound from the air as I drove past these lights in the sky.

I couldn’t talk to anyone about this incident for two days because I was trying to process what I had witnessed that night. I finally came to the conclusion that I had witness teleportation of an alien spacecraft. I had witness alien technology in action.

After a while I began to tell people who I have known for at least several years about this event, including an older woman who was a widow. As I told her this story, she told me her husband was a fighter pilot in WWII in the pacific theater. He had spoke to her several times that while flying in daylight he saw a black disc object in the air with him which had four red lights on the back end of this craft in a diamond shaped pattern. When he tried to fly towards this craft, the ship would race away from his plane.

Observed with the naked eye, an unusually bright white round object in the North Western. night sky of Santa Clarita Valley in Southern California. It appeared to stay in the same position (approx. 10:00 position) 30 minutes or better with the intensity never changing. During this initial observation the object never came closer or farther in respect to our viewing location; basically the object size never changed. Orion’s belt was viewed almost due West at approximately 11 o’clock position from our viewing position. We heard no noise or saw no indication of a missile launch out of Vandenburg Air Force Base; next launch is scheduled for February 24, 2009 per Vandenburg’s calendar. The object was than observed through the side sighting scope of an amateur telescope (D: 60mm; F: 700mm) where the following was observed: object had a dark center, with a white band with red and blue colors radiating outward from the white outer band perimeter. Object remained a full round shape 90% of the time. However, it changed from that frontal view round shape and rotated on its vertical axis maintaining same vertical size, but it changed its’ vertical shape to half the original frontal view; then its’ shape shifted like a saucer rounded on one edge and flat on the other edge; then it rotated and titled some more and its’ shape became an oval and went into a horizontal position. Within 30-45 seconds after changing to that final position the object descended below the visible horizon. The color lights remained the same throughout this observation. The view through the main telescope was further validated by one of the observers. One observer; having worked on highly secretive military aircraft; and that observer understands the maneuverability of aircraft; believes these observations are beyond any known comprehensible understanding of present day aircraft to his knowledge. As of this date has anyone reported sightings similar to our observations?

Noiseless triangular craft with orange glow travels at high speed overhead at night - it made no sound.

It was 9:00 at night and I was with my Dad in our hot tub in the back yard. We were looking at Orion’s belt when we saw a strange figure. It was in the shape of an arrowhead and it was glowing a dim neon orange color. It was at about the same altitude a standard propeller aircraft would fly. The triangular figure was so fast it flew into and out of our sight in 3 seconds. The strange part was that it was completely silent. We were puzzled when we thought how an orange arrowhead shaped flying object flew silently across the sky at the speed of a jet engine.

Noiseless triangular craft with orange glow seen flying at extremely high speed at night - the silence was weird.

I am a 48-year-old licensed mechanical engineer. My 13-year-old son and I were sitting in our Jacuzzi this evening looking at Orion’s belt when my son suddenly pointed up at the sky. He had spotted something flying and asked me to identify it. The object was flying overhead coming in our direction from the east and heading westward in a straight line. It was triangular in shape and had a relative size of about one quarter of a full moon (if you cut the moon up like a pie). I would estimate its altitude to have been about that of a conventional, single engine propeller plane, or perhaps even as low as a helicopter.

The object had a dim but solid orange glow to it and there were no blinking lights (red or green) as most aircraft have when in flight. Although I cannot estimate its speed with much accuracy I can say that from the time it entered our field of vision from the east to when it disappeared to the west took no more than three to four seconds. Thus, I would say that it appeared to be traveling quite fast. What astonished both myself and my son, however, was the fact that the object made no sound whatsoever. No buzz of props, no rumble of jet engines-nothing-not even after it had passed.

It was a bizarre and surreal feeling watching it seemingly "glide" at such a speed over us. The absolute silence of the craft and its flight is what got us to report it. From the time we first saw the craft in the east to the time it left our field of vision in the west the craft had traveled approximately 110 degrees (180 degrees being from one horizon to the other on a perfectly flat plane).

Two people witnessed an object that was hovering just above a mountain in the Santa Clarita Valley of southern California which had alternating blue and orange lights flashing and was moving in a "t" direction, from left to right and vice versa, and then up and down. The object then turned into a white light, and after about 30 seconds alternated between the blue and orange lights again, continuously moving in a "t" pattern of direction. Gradually, after 4 minutes or so, the object started to move lower and lower, behind a mountain, near the Magic Mountain area in the Santa Clarita Valley. Finally it disappeared below the mountain.

UFO sighting

Hello my name is ((name deleted)) and I was refered to you by my brother in law ((name deleted)).

Friday night at about 10:30 pm my wife and I were sitting in the jacuzzi with our friends and their child. I looked up and spotted a grey "aircraft" that came from the east and flew to the end of the western horizon in about 5 seconds (I started counting when it was right over us) and no sound was coming out of it.

It had a delta shape, long white lights running front-to-back, but no collision lights flashing, it was totally silent and it slanted over towards the south before we lost sight of it. The altitude was roughly 5000 feet.

I have lots of air traffic over our house, so I am used to seeing private/commercial jets fly over all the time. Also, I go to air shows at Edwards AFB and Pt Mugu...Ive seen the SR-71, F-15, F-22, F-16, F-18, F-117, B-1B bomber, etc etc, so I know what military jets can do and what they sound like at high speeds, but this one was totally silent....not a whisper.

No way it was a satellite, cause Ive seen them before at the desert and I saw the space shuttle once. What really caught my eye was the speed of this craft....Ive never seen anything cross the sky so quickly. Perhaps something outta Groom Lake? I am sorry, I cannot use my friends as witnesses because of privacy concerns, but my wife and I and our 10 year old son saw what I saw.

Ive never seen anything move so fast.

A bright object was seen from a far distance. It gave off a bright white light, sometimes turning gold, then it would turn red

I pulled in front of a friends home on Sunday night and was waiting in my car for My friend and his mother to get back from the store. As I sat there I was looking at the stars and noticed That one was unuseky bright considering I have been looking up at the sky almost on a daily basis to hopefully catch an anomoly or the real thing . So anyway I set a maker for a referance point so that I would ve able to tell if it was a star moving along with the oters at the same rate as the earth spins. So I began to notice that at times the star had other colors that would flash as I focused and also noticed that it eas moving behind my referance tree at a little faster rate than the other stars. Well considering those facts I still diddnt realy believe that it actualy was ands then my friend showed up. As he started to unload the groceries I mentioned jokingly that I saw A UFO and as I tried to locate the brightest star I noticed it was much further behind the tree and all of a sudden there ware neumourous types helicoper and small aircraft flyby's happening all over the sky coming in from the Edwards AFB behind us and heading in the direction of the bright light. Anyhow as I then began to belive in what I saw. My friend and I began discussing the event and I allowed him to convince me that I just wanted to see one so badly, I saw what my mind wanted and that it wassent anythimg more that. Well by the timr he convinced me the object was gone.

bright lights caught my eye as we were driving home it was round saucer shape with a triangle of lights under the saucer.

light sky at night on a dark road coming home did not see any trafic on this road at the time but it cuaght my eye off to the left of me driving by the time it was up close i got out of my car and it was write over my head no noise at all going very very slow seems to just hover over the top of our car for a few seconds then keep going by there was no noise and there i saw the bottom of what it looked like very easily i can send to you a drawing of what it look like with no problem it was very shocking to view it i have heard about sightings for years but this is the frist rel one i saw the lights were very bright on the top of it they were blue and white under the saucer they were all white light and dark ones.

At approximately 7AM I noted a spiral shaped or zigzag jet steam arising from the opposite horizon. The pattern was so wide and irregular it caught my eye. I never saw the shape of the object, but I did see the shape of the light coming from it. It had a brightly lit front nose that was followed by a conical white light body. It disappeared and reappeared x 3, but the jet stream remained behind it. At one point it burst into bright fireball light and disappeared, but reappeared again. I woke my husband and son to see it. By the time my son woke up there was only the wide spiraling jet stream. Mu husband saw the light object. It reminded me of a comet, but appeared to be traveling parallel to the earth's surface and not toward it. It did not appear to be getting closer to the ground when it disappeared. It also reminded me of the space shuttle and one was launched Dec. 9. . I also read that the military launched a new stealth jet yesterday. Any of these may be possibilities, but it was certainly special to watch. I hope this helps.

While cutting up a fallen tree at my friend’s house in the forest (highway 14/Sand Canyon Rd area) I decided to take a break and lie down on the gate of my truck and view some clouds passing through the canyon.

While observing a low cloud that was "splitting" and evaporating, I saw an unexplained object in the sky. Looking up from approx a 45 deg angle from my truck, I saw a round object at a very, very high altitude. It was by chance I saw this; it was directly right of the cloud formation I was looking at and was quite high; I doubt I would have seen while even looking up at birds.

At first I tried to reason that it was a high flying aircraft or a maybe a passing satellite. But after a very brief arch like movement in the sky, I viewed this object in one spot for at least 20-25 minutes.

After a few minutes I grabbed my Carson binoculars out of my truck to get a better view which made a bit of a difference. It was just motionless in the air (jumping around in my binoculars since you cant keep your hands perfectly still) and then I saw a blue, what appeared to be arrow-tipped shaped object rotate around the original round object that I was viewing.

After about 10 minutes the "arrow" seemed to be gone and the object seemed to emit a red and white (alternating) light. This could have been the sun/light anomaly but I was observing the lights in timed intervals.

I was looking at this for another 10 minutes.

For a third time I took the binoculars away to see where the object was in relation to the tree in front of me, but this time when I looked up I couldn’t locate it again.

I started to view this at appox. 3:40 pm PST on 08APR06.

On Sunday, 6 Nov. 05, at approximately 4:00 pm, my husband and I, stepped out onto our balcony. We see aircraft passing all the time, on their approach to Burbank, or LAX.

We were talking, when I heard an aircraft over head. We both looked up to what appeared to be a military transport. flying or gliding behind and to the left and right of the tail were several (6 to 7) objects. The objects were to close to the aircraft to be escorting type aircraft.

I thought the aircraft could be dragging ballons behind the craft to be release at some point during flight. From our point of view the objects appeared round and black in color.

My husband pointed out that we wouldn't be able to see ballons.

By the time I got my binoculars focused, the aircraft disapperaed into a cloud formation.

Very large, slow moving boomerang/flying wing craft with blinking red lights

It was about 9:15pm, and several of us were drying off after swimming in a neighbor's backyard pool. My wife pointed out an object flying in the sky above us, and about 7 of us saw it (four adults and three children).

The object was a boomerang/flying wing shape, and it was very large, larger than any craft that I have seen or am familiar with. It was flying slowly across the sky approximately south, and it had a unique engine sounds, similar to powerful jet engines, but quieter. The body was dark and barely visible, and it had small blinking red lights across the length of the craft (approximately 7 or 8 lights). The lights appeared to blink without a pattern, which seemed kind of strange, and they did not resemble the lights normally seen on the commercial aircraft that fly over regularly. There was (what appeared to be) a fighter aircraft that flew by a bit west and somewhat behind the craft. We assumed that it was an escort, as it did not appear to be in pursuit, although it was clearly following/staying close. It would occasionally bank and maneuver.

Strangely, about 10 minutes later, another similar craft flew over going in the same direction. This one was further away from us, but it also appeared to be smaller. It had similar lights and appeared to have a similar body shape, although it was difficult to tell. It also emitted the same jetlike sounds. A few minutes later, a fighter aircraft flew back in the opposite direction and then banked east and flew off.

We are in a flight path of Burbank Airport, but there were no other commercial jets flying over at the time. We are also about 50 miles from Edwards Air Force Base.

The crafts appeared terrestrial (as opposed to the object I reported in November of 2003 over Valencia, CA, which was extremely out of the ordinary).

I am an executive for a major financial services company, and I had considered myself to be more or less skeptical until 2003. I feel strange reporting something for a second time, since I had not seen anything unusual through my entire life until then.

Bright red lights hoovering over Santa Clarita

I was walking my dogs when I noticed a bright red light. Round shape. The light was travelling from west to east at a slow pace. The light stopped travelling east at some point just north of the Santa Clarita Valley. As it hovered it lost altitude and began to hover at about 2,500 ft. It would move from left to right in a very slow manner and then make 90 degree turns upward and gain altitude. I watched it for the better part of 30 minutes. There were many witnesses at Costco, both customers and employees. The object did not make any sound and had no visible means of propulsion.

The object began to travel away from me in a westerly direction at a very shallow angle, again with no visible means of propulsion. It climbed and travelled at relatively the same speed. Never increasing speed. There were times as I watched that the object would bounce up and down and side to side as if being affected by turbulence. The most amazing thing, as I continued to watch this, is I realized the object left the earths atmosphere when the red object began to "twinkle". I continued to watch it until it was no longer visible to the naked eye.

I am very familiar with the aviation, and I am not aware of any aircraft that behave in that manner.

Looking out my bedroom window, I observed an unusual hovering object in the distance. The shape was somewhat difficult to see, as it was far away, and high, in a dark sky. However, three lights, in a horizontal row, each light seemingly multicolored (white, pink, green...but difficult to tell for sure) maintained the same position until I went to bed about an hour later. Possible blimp? Husband is an astrogeophysicist and said that it was the closest thing he's ever seen to a UFO.

Very low, loud oscillating sound, 3 streaks of thin green light

At approximately 4:30am, I woke up to an incredibly obscene, low oscillating sound. It started as a hum, and grew louder and more pronounced. It was similar to a helicopter whump except that it was enormous, much louder and with more resonance. I am very familiar with helicopter, jet and prop aircraft sound. I never get out of bed for the usual aircraft noises, but this was so strange that I shot out of bed and looked out the window by instinct. At that point, the low, humming grew louder and almost with a bang, I saw at least 3 thin streaks of green light, close together at low altitude travel from south to north very quickly. I am not sure if this was 1 aircraft or multiple, as I was unable to pick out a shape. The noise faded out quicker than it appeared. Total experience time was approximately 30 seconds.

My initial thought was that it was one gigantic helicopter that I have never heard before. My second thought was that it was a group of smaller helicopters very close together. After thinking about it further, the sound made me change my mind and refer to it as "experimental aircraft" because the sound was incredibly unique, the direction of travel was inconsistant with the usual aircraft overhead, altitude was very low and speed was very high compared to usual aircraft overhead. I just can't get over the sound, which was so unusual, I decided to write this report.

Both my wife and I saw a flying saucer craft directly over our back yard at an altitude of no higher than 75 feet. It was above us for about 40 seconds with no sound and seemed to hover/glide on the spot. We clearly saw design characteristics.Metallic highly shiny body, no visible linkage between metallic components, about 100 feet in diameter, portholes in the middle of what appeared to be an upper level or dome and bottom the porthole were all around the craft except for the front (on direction of forward movement.) There was a window that was angled inwards about 45 degrees in the front (forward direction). The window appeared to be in the under side of the craft. We could see orange/bluish light coming from the inside but did not see any occupants. The window was about 4-5 feet in height and probably about 10-12 feet in length. The craft had small ski like devices on either side (lower) of the frontal window but they seemed to be like docking devices like the shape of an S but the top of the S facing forward. Underneath craft were rectangular (2) long shapes that covered the diameter of the craft and in the middle section of the bottom side. The rectangular shapes were part of the body but protruded in rectangular shape. No insignias, just solid metallic body. I kept saying what a beautiful craft and my wife kept saying oh my god the whole time.The craft made no noise whatsoever. It seemed to levitate but with that slight side to side movement.At the time of sighting, I was cleaning my swimming pool a round 10:00 PM. The is a residential area (Santa Clarita Valley) where 10:00 PM is like 3:00 AM. I spotted the craft coming towards the house in a southwest direction and instantly knew that was not a normal shaped craft. I ran some 12 steps to the family room and called my family but only my wife ran out. As she did, the craft was right on top of us, motionless except for the slight gliding from side to side. It stood there about 40 seconds. It faced downwards and that is when I saw the window. I also could determine that swimming pool lights were not causing reflection on top side and that in effect it was highly reflective. After that it kept moving in the same direction at 40-50 MPH and began to disappear between homes. I jumped on top of a block wall and saw it continue (between homes) for at least 4-5 miles and then I could not see it.I told my wife not to discuss it but to draw what she saw as I did. I had more details but we agreed that we saw the same things.While we were seeing it, I made sure there was no helicopter suspending this craft.We called the local sheriff's office and they said they had no reports. The craft had to cross the Interstate 5 freeway to head towards my home and at the altitude which means someone had to see it on the freeway.There was a sighting filmed in Mexico City near some high rise buildings. What we saw resembled that very much. Please keep me posted. Since the experience I have read everything there is to read on the subject. I am confident the government knows more. This object was a solid craft and definitely not powered by anything man-made.

Silent, triangular object with three dim, greyish lights

My family and I were leaving a restaurant after a late dinner. The night was clear and cold.

I noticed three greyish lights moving across the sky, approximately SSE. At first, the lights reminded me of geese flying in formation, but after watching for a few seconds, they ultimately appeared to be part of one triangular object. There were lights at each point of the triangle, although the lighted areas themselves seemed rounded, not sharp-edged or pointed. The lighted areas were dim and hazy, and they were fairly large in size compared to what appeared to be the relative size of the object. It is possible that the lighted areas consisted of groups of smaller lights, but the lights were too dim to tell. The lights were moving in a very smooth, consistent manner, and were moving in a straight line. Ultimately, not very far away, the object faded away, as it had moved quite a distance fairly quickly. However, a normal aircraft would still be easily visible at the point where this one effectively faded into the sky.

I could not see an outline of a triangular craft, as there was no moonlight in the sky, so it is also possible that there were three objects flying in formation. However, I believe that most likely they were all part of one object. The object was completely silent, and it was not directly overhead, although it was close to being so. It was flying at a fairly low altitude, well below where planes fly in the area. Any planes/helicopters flying even remotely close to where this object was are quite noisy and clearly heard. Again, this object was completely silent, and it was moving much faster than an aircraft (at any altitude).

I have lived near airport flight paths in Los Angeles for many years, but I have never seen anything remotely similar to this object. My wife also saw the object, and she recalls seeing an outline of a triangular craft. I have reviewed other reports from the NUFORC website, and the May 2003 report from Seattle, WA is very similar to my experience.

cigar shaped craft, huge in size with a number of red lights slowly crossed the moon lit sky with a small craft chasing after it.

This object was in a cigar shape or vertical craft. Because it was dark, the actually craft could not been seen, but there were a number of red lights that give off the apparent shape. There were two large lights at the base, one on top of the other that did not blink at all but just were on. Then two separate red lights would stream from the top red light upward, kind of like a kid's toy laser gun would have the red lights stream from one end to the other when the trigger was hit. Now this object was huge. From my backyard I watch planes and helicopters fly by as I relax in my hot tub at night. If a plane would be a spec in the sky about a half an inch big, this thing was 50 times that size. Because it was a full moon last night, I did notice that it left a stream, or line in the sky, same as what a fighter plane would leave. Shortly after the object disappeared over the mountain, a small craft came chasing after it. This craft was a straight red light, not blinking like most planes do and it was fast. No noise.

Black disc with no lights seen in broad daylight.

I was playing a gig at the Rockpile in Saugus, Mass... I had alerady loaded my equipment in, and I was outside by the entrance smoking a cigarette. It was overcast, but still daylight out. I looked up and out of the clouds, coming directly towards me was a small, round disc. No lights. It appeared to be black, or at least very dark. It descended out of the clouds, and couldn;t have been very high, as it was underneath the clouds and in plain sight. I was struck by how straight it was traveling. It made no sound, and it went DIRECTLY over my head, and continued on a straight path, and as it flew away, it ascended very slightly, until it was back in the clouds and that was it. It was small. It couldn't have been any bigger than a Yugo. That was one of the weird things about it... it was very small, but it moved on an obviously deliberate path. I could almost feel a vibration, but there was no sound. That's the best way that I can explain it. I felt it, but couldn't hear it. There were at least 7 other people outside at the time, and not one other person looked up or said anything. I didn't dare say anthing... not sure that i could've even if I'd wanted to. But let me repeat this. It was very very clear. I saw it with absolutely NO obstructions to my view... none. No lights on it. Black or very very dark. Round. Small. I kept thinking that it was like some sort of probe that you would see in the movies. I actually thought that as I was seeing it. I reported this to MUFON, and heard nothing from them. Very disappointing, because I saw it so very clearly.

But anyway, that's it.

I've talked to the other guys from ((name deleted)) (the band I was in at the time of the incident) and no one can remember the exact date of that show. We'd played the Rockpile numerous times for WAAF, and there were never any fliers for the show. I even tried searching through WAAF's website but came up empty. It was definitely sometime in Sept. of 2003.

As crazy as it sounds, I've seen far more than my share of UFO's in my lifetime... several were in broad daylight, all of them different, and totally inexplicable, including one that was followed by - I kid you not - a black helicopter sighting in broad daylight about 3 years ago in New Haven Connecticut.

My ex-wife was with me for both the UFO sighting and the subsequent black helicopter incident... very
strange, to say the least.

I'm no nut job, and although I am extremely interested in the subject, I am plenty skeptical,and even assess my own experiences with a touch of cynicism.

Sunday we went to fix the antennas of our repeater (we are Ham radio operators)at Contractors Point and in the way down I saw a small white ball comming to our direction.Suddenly the object stoped or reduced the speed and was floting in the sky for at least 15 minutes.We stoped the car and my friend tried to take a picture with his digital camera but the object suddenly disappeared.My friend was taken pictures before of his daughter and also he took me a picture fixing our antennas. Eight objects flying in a modified V formation; seven smaller objects all with one red light, white light on larger object

While I was talking to a friend outside one night I noticed in the northern sky behind her, eight approaching aircraft which I estimate their altitude to be 15, 000 ft. to 20,000 ft. These may have been seven spotter or escort planes accompanying a much larger craft in a modified, yet very structured V formation. The five smaller objects, with one red light each, fanned out evenly spaced to the side and behind the larger craft left wing. The larger craft appeared to have only white light(s). On the right side of the larger craft were only two other objects (also with one red light each) replicated the same pattern and spacial distance as noticed on the other side of the craft. The five objects on the larger craft's leftside (as well as the other two on the right side), each had one bright red light which flashed once (for approximately one second -- much like an airport runway strobe but slower)) in a sequential fashion from the lead object back to the last and then repeated this same sequence as it continued across the night's sky.

It began in the northen sky and seemed to cruise at what would be a normal commercial aircraft speed for that altitude taking appoximately 1min/30sec to cross from the norhern most horizon to the southern most horizon. The sound was a gentle whisper and appeared to defy what might have seemed a normal audible sound for so many aircraft.

My friend began watching almost immediately after I spoted this unusual formation. She did not distinguish 8 separate objects, but felt that it was one composite. My engineering background and practical mind convinces me it must be eight craft in total, although I could not see eight separate craft. Is there some practical explanation or answer for this type of formation?

Shooting star stops moving.

This is not the first sighting I've seen in a month's time, but I saw it with my wife standing next to me, and it was the most interesting...

We are located north of Boston, MA and have a balcony facing east.

We were looking out at the unusually uncluttered sky due to the lack of planes.. there were a few, which I'll refer to later.

My wife had never seen a shooting star, and I always keep a look-out for one, so she can witness it, and I thought I finally did! But I was wrong. I quickly turned her attention to a rapidly descending white object apparently coming down out of the sky. Since falling stars tend to disappear rapidly, I was very surprised that as the object fell, it did not disappear. In fact, it slowed down! then appeared to stall, not moving at all. I could not tell you how large it was, or how close it was, but I DID think it was a shooting star (at first), if that gives you some idea of apparent size and brightness.

While the object appeared to not move, i referenced other planes' movements to compare. Well, there was no similarity. And it made no sound.

So, now this was strange, but here is another strange phenomenon...

One moment, it appeared to be in front of us, glowing bright white, and within a couple of seconds, it WAS ON THE HORIZON, now red in color. This movement was like something out of MC Escher, where perception changes in an instant.

We just agreed we saw a UFO and left it as that!

Bright star-like light, moveing erratically and at high speed over L.A.'s San Gabriel Valley and Mountains 9/14/01

Tonight I was with two friends. We were standing on my private road in a dark section of my property, and kind-of pointing out various constellations. I live in a rural section of the mountain/desert areas north of L.A. It was a totally clear night, maybe one or two extremely small bits of cirrostratus cloud, hardly bigger than your finger on an extented arm. There was a small amount of scattered light from the urban areas to the south, but not too much. There was no moon, and the air was pleasant, about 70 degrees. I, and the others, happened to be looking over the mountains to the SE (Mt. Gleason) and there we saw what appeared to be a comet, low on the horizon. I was watching it for about 5-10 seconds, and I said to Anthony, "Is that the comet you're gonna look at when you set your scope up?" He was looking, too, and he said, "There's no comet supposed to be there this early in the year," Well, as we look at it, it gets MUCH brighter, and suddenly seems to surge toward us, passing either into or behind a small cirrostratus wisp of cloud, which lit-up interactively. It continued in a NW direction, very quick, accelerating much faster and glowing much brighter than any plane or chopper. It now appeared to be much lower and closer, maybe 20,000-40,000 feet altitude, somewhere over the San Gabriel Valley. It was approxamately 40 degrees above the horizon. Suddenly it came to an abrupt stop, and just as suddenly shot off to the north for about 2 seconds, it's sky track paralleling the horizon and covering about the width of your hand with your arm extended out front. Another sudden stop. Another abrupt course shift, back toward us, heading NW. No regular aircraft could withstand the G-force required of such instantaneous manuevers. It then shot hard to the west for another 2 seconds, stopped instantly, glowed incredibly bright, and shot straight up, fading to nothing in about 1.5 seconds. I remember saying, "It's clearly exhibiting some non-ballistic movements." It was quite evident this was a strange craft. It glowed like a bright star, with a hint of changing color around the edges. It really didn't have a shape, per se, but for a star, it did appear... thick, or fat. The star's disk was bigger than Jupiter on a good night. It also appeared to briefly leave a very faint trail, which disappeared within1/4 second from being laid down, almost making it's movements look the way pionts of light used to look as seen by old Vidicon tube video cameras with their slight, brief trails.

I thought it was one object with two lights until the trailing one moved closer as if catching up to the other. There was no sound associated with them. They crossed the sky in less than one minute. They were not aircraft as they had no strobe lights or colored lights. I first thought that perhaps it was a satillite until the trailing one moved closer to the leading one. I have always beleived that there are too many sightings for UFO's not to exist. I have never seen anything like this before. Usually I can explain what I saw. Usually it turns out to be an aircraft or what I would assume is a satillite. This time however when the second one moved closer to the first and the dullness of the light I cannot explain what I saw other than it was a UFO.

Did I witness a ufo at about 3;30am, Feb. 6?

I am acually quite nervous sharing this information with you. But since yesterday morning, I haven't been able to get it out of my head. The way it happened, all seemed to perfect, to be real. First, I was driving home while listening to 640AM which was educating us, the people, of this website. I get home and go straight online to look up this site, (I am always eager to educate myself; currently reading the book Chaos- Making a New Science and I also read philosophy.) While I'm researching this site, my cordless phone gives off half a ring, mind you it's about 3:30am, and I was startled. Last year I had 3 strange incidents occur with both my home number and old cell number at about the same time. I even have witnesses for those incidents. (A sound like a baby's heart through an ultra sound.) So again, I was startled when my phone rang yesterday morning. I got off line quickly, and for some reason went to go look outside my kitchen window. That's when I saw the red and white lights coming forward, yet in sort of a side to side motion. I was thinking to myself, "no way, this can't be happening." And continued to stare at the object to prove myself wrong of it's side to side motion. I went outside in my backyard and watched it fly over my house. It seemed to be in the shape of a triangle because of the white lights at the front point of it and on each end of what would be it's wings. On the bottom, there were two red lights that seemed to be pulsating and made a quiet humming sound. I tried to analyze it as best as I could so I would then be able to confirm to myself, that it was only a plane. But I was unable because of a glare or something from the white lights. I have no idea whether it was a ufo or not, I only know that the nature of it, seemed unfamilar to me.

My family and I saw 4 bright steaks of light in the same exact area of the sky all which traveled in opposite directions..

Last night my Father (a retired Lockheed employee and WW2 Army/Airforce Vet)was setting in a lawn chair in my backyard when he said to me,"Do you have Fireflys around here?" I told him "no" And saw he was looking into the southern part of the sky. I then walked over to him and looked into the sky and asked him what he saw. He said he saw a streak of light in the sky that looked like a Firefly. I then looked in the direction he was looking and suddenly I saw a quick, Bright streak of light that was very thin moving from West to East. I said that looks like a meteor. about 30 seconds later, another streak of light was in the exact area but this time it went from east to west. I was then kind of freaked out to see the same thing, in the exact area but going the opposite direction. At that time my Mother, my Brother and his Girlfriend walked over to see what we were looking at when the same streak of light appeared again, This time going from North to south in the same exact area. We were all wondering what we were seeing. I attempted to explain it as a meteor shower but we all agreed it would not be in the exact same area in the sky. About 1 minute passed when we then saw a bright strobe type flash in the sky Just south and lower in the horizon from where we saw the steaks of light. about 5 seconds later, another flash of light appeared futher south and even lower in the horizon. We continued to look into the sky for several more minutes when we once again saw the bright flash of light, This time is was towards the east of the other light flashes. It was now we all realized that this was no meteor shower so I ran in to get the Video Camera. Unfotunately we never saw the objects again. I can only describe the steaks of light as "Pencil thin",White Streaks with no contrails. They only went a distance of your hand streached out in the sky. All 4 steaks of light (3 which I saw)were within an area of the sky where as if you were to hold out both hands and make a circle with your thumbs and pinky fingers. The l! ight str eaks appeared to be "way up" in the atmosphere and traveled at least 5 times faster than any meteor or falling star that I have ever seen. The 3 bright flashes we saw resembled an Aircraft Stobe light but about 3 times brighter. At about 2030hrs I telephoned the nearest Air Force Base (Edwards AFB)which is about 70 miles away. I spoke to a person at their command post who said he had no idea what I saw and that no information about any flight testing or Military operations could be given out. He then gave me the phone number to the UFO reporting center. I then called the reporting center and spoke with Mr. Davenport and told him about the incident. He said that what I saw was very unusual and was not from "This earth". What my family and I saw last night was definately the most unusual thing we have ever saw. We believe the "Sightings" were of alien nature but we are not really sure. My wife was in the house during the time of the incident and now she thinks im crazy. All I can say is that "I saw what I saw" and I'm not "Crazy". I am a Deputy Sheriff in the Southern California area and have seen strange things before, but not like this!

Streak across the sky moving from SE to NW, color was teal/silver irredescence. Holding out hand, size was thumb nail, above cirrus clouds did not dissapate but disappeared immediately.

I was traveling northbound on I 5 and in a late afternoon sky I saw a circle or disk shaped object that was a greenish silver and was irredescence in color. The streak lasted some 1/2 second and by holding out hand it was about the size of my thumb nail. I noticed it was above the thin layer of cirrus clouds. It was too big to be a shooting star. The sky was still blue and the sun was still in the sky. I was amazed by how bright the object was inthe daytime sky. It was moving faster than anythng I had seen before including shooting stars. The object came from behind me out of the southeast and traveled toward the northeast. Without dissapating, the object just disapeared. No jerking movment or obvious change of direction was observed. I couldn't tell if it had a tail of if I was observing the visual stretch of the object due to the speed. I don't think this was space junk because of the size of the solid part of the object.

Luminous, green, round sphere of light moved across sky from S to WSW

Object appeared to the South at 30 Degrees above the horizon, moved in a slightly downward curved line across SW quadrant and abruptly disappeared beyond the 3,500 ft MSL Oat Mt., 4 miles to the West just slightly above the visable mountain skyline. The object moved at constant speed and looked like a round glowing sphere, green in color with no distinguishing marks. The color was light green and looked similar to the bio-luminescent green light sticks the kids use on Halloween. The diameter appeared abount ten times Jupiter and brigter than the Moon. The Moon was full, due South, close to Zenith with Jupiter just to the West, sky was very clear. Just before disappearing (.5 sec) a second smaller sphere appeared just in front of the larger sphere. It traveled at the same speed, with the same glowing green light at about one fifth the size. The objects moved much faster than any jet or prop plane, but slower than meteors. There was a slight hint of a tail but I'm not sure if that was just my eye's retina persistance. I have worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry for 25 years. I have extensive knowledge and experiance in Astronomy, Optics, Electronics and Astro-Physics having designed Earth, Moon, and Sun sensors, star trackers and Star Magnitude Photon Detectors for use on communication and spy satellites. I regularly observe and am familiar with the local flight patterns around Burbank airport to the SE and Van Nuys to the S. There were at least 3 planes to the S and W. I have 20/10 vision and no color blindness. I have seen a few large meteors (comparable to the above object) that appeared to have some visable diameter but they usually have a tail with visable fragments that persist for up to several seconds. I have never seen a green one. Maybe burning copper? I was the only witness and was observing from my house at N34 23.400' W118 29.350' 1200 ft AMSL

Summer 1998, in the backyard hot tub with my wife, in Santa Clarita, California. Totally clear, starry sky. Of course, I'm not looking at the sky, I'm looking at my wife's bikini top. But she's looking at the sky (damn you, pot belly!), and she says, "What's that?" We both look up, and there's this triangle shape obscuring the stars. It's totally black, slowly moving from east to west, silently. That's the thing I remember most, the silence. Our neighborhood is very quiet, so any aircraft passing overhead is always audible.

In retrospect, I wish I had grabbed a camera, but this was when 1-megapixel digital cameras were state of the art and didn't come with shutter speeds, plus I was wet. So we just watched this triangle mask the stars as it slowly cruised overhead. From our view, the size was like if you put both your forefingers and thumbs together in the shape of a triangle and held your arms out. There were no lights at all. I have waited over 10 years to tell this story, and I present it here as fact witnessed by my own eyes. I wasn't beamed up by a UFO with multicolored Christmas lights. I saw a black triangle obscuring the stars.

Summary : 2 ships were spotted

two ships were spooted in the sky at about 6:20 pm on the 8 th of November. We have seen this once before in the same spot in the sky in late July. Of the two ships one was really bright and one was not very bright. The bright one was glowing a hot white color, and when viewed with binoculars, it had what appeared to be two rocket boosters, which were tapering off in width, and where at about a 120 degree angle from eachother. Also a white hot ring seemed to be floating around the ship. Sort of like some sort of force feild. The smaller ship was keeping a constant distance from the brighter bigger ship. Like it was bing controlled by it. The strangest and weirdest thing thathappened though was this bright band of light that crossed the sky. It was like a twisted plane or ribbon, twisting at the left, and then ging straight across the sky. Then at the right side or the end of it it looped and went up. Then it dissapeared. >From the beginning of the sighting to the end, the brighter ship moved down and over a little to the right. The smaller ship seemed to move a lot more. Then about an half hour later, the ribbon instantly vanished.

The following was taken from a post I often send to alt.ufo.reports: I only have one story to share but it has kept me thinking for about seven years now. A sighting can be very informative if the observer notes not only what was seen but also the circumstances under which it was seen. I use to work for an amusement park in Valencia, California called Six Flags Magic Mountain. I was a senior in high school at the time and worked the summers and weekends (during school). This weekend the forecast called for thunderstorms and a high probability of showers. That Saturday I was on my lunch break when I sat in my usual quiet spot away from the crowds. It overlooked the intersection of the I-5 freeway (north/south) and the 126 (east/west). My view was to the east and toward a small range of mountains on the other side of the I-5. The mtn range is about 500 feet in height. At its base now sits an extension to the original industrial center (at the time a small plot of crops was growing at this particular location). At lunchtime there was a thunderstorm moving from north to south. It had already passed where I was but I could still see the lightning in the distance and the sky was entirely overcast. About 15 minutes after I sat down I had finished what I was eating and looked out at the freeway, at the range beyond, and then to the clouds. I was just passing the time I had away from my work when I saw something moving in the lower layer of the cloud formations. It was situated across the freeway and just above the mtn range (about 200 ft above the hill's peak). At first I thought it was a helicopter even though I didn't see a tail or rotor. It was in nearly zero visibility because of the clouds. It was moving from north to south as though it were following the storm but from a safe distance (or so it seemed). It was inching southward (left to right), but at a speed non-constant and different from that of the clouds around it (this is probably why it caught my eye). It was a grayish tone (maybe metallic), elliptical in shape, maybe 25-35 feet in length, and had no distinguishing extrusions. If it had any markings on its surface I couldn't see them from this distance (it still seemed close). Patches of cloud would make it appear and disappear over what was to be a 2-3 minute interval. I watched almost unblinking at what I couldn't identify. I don't know why but the thought of a balloon or a blimp never came to mind and it could have been either if not for one last awesome maneuver. I might also add that the only sounds I heard included the occasional yell from someone on a ride some distance away, a light thundering to the south, and the hum of the traffic on the I-5. After 2-3 minutes of this, the craft shot up into the clouds like it had been attached to some long extended rubber band that I couldn't see. The speed was so fast (and the fact that the craft was already nearly engulfed by the clouds surrounding it) that, had I blinked, I would have certainly missed this last maneuver. There was no deformation in the craft that I noticed in the 2-3 minutes that I watched it. What I did see however was the deformation of the cloud as the movement of air suddenly displaced it. This was the one key piece of information that convinced me what I saw was actually there. The maneuver convinced me that what I was dealing with was not a craft of any kind I had ever seen. I thought this maneuver was the last of this sighting and that I'd never see anything this unusual again. I was wrong. I immediately looked at my watch hoping to record the exact date and time of the sighting, but all I could manage to remember was the placement of the second hand and only for a minute at that. This is why. I continued to look in awe over the freeway for some hope of an answer. Sixty seconds after the craft had shot into the clouds a small bolt of lightning (I couldn't even hear it at that distance) struck EXACTLY where the craft (above the hill's peak) had been situated. I was sure this was no coincidence and I've thought about this sighting (the only sighting I've ever had) for years. I'm 25 and a student of architecture. My interests include design, models, computers, and tennis. I don't normally follow UFO sightings but I do post this story once in a while. I've lived in New Jersey for two years and in California the rest. I don't have a religion and I'm not superstitious. I like to keep an open mind, but I'm often skeptical. This was just a story for others to read and I hope you found it interesting. I don't expect I'll ever see anything like this again. UPDATE (8/28/00): I decided to hike up to the top of the hill to see for myself what interest anyone would have with this particular location. From the top of the hill I could see both the I-5 and 126 extending into the distance. I could see one of Southern Calif. Edison's power stations (a whole bank of power line towers), the Rye Canyon Industrial Center, Six Flags Magic Mountain and basically a lot of new development. I also found the well (a Wayside Equivalent Zone Unit) that was recently installed and which I had mentioned above. It turns out Southern Calif. Gas Co. has a plant (and a few dozen wells) on the other side of the mtn range. I think Southern Calif. Gas Co. probably owns the land this craft was hovering over. I spent about 30 minutes on that hill and saw a lot of aircraft flying right over head (mostly civilian but also some military). Both Burbank and Santa Paula airports aren't terribly far. There has also been some controlled burning of brush on the site (typical of dry brush areas).

Although this sighting occurred 22 years ago, it is an experience my wife and I cannot forget and considerably a closer experience that is reported at the UFO Reporting Center.

Becaue of the close experience, I conclude that persons seriously interested in subject matter may gain from our report.

It was a warm Friday evening at around 09:00 PM in Valencia California (Old Orchard II). I was cleaning swimming pool because our children would swim the next day. To clean the pool I used a long pole with an attached brush.

As I moved my arm up the pole I turned my head to the rear and saw a craft headed in my direction at a low altitude and with lights on the front. What caught my attention was the width and pancake layout of the lights. As I stared at it for about 8-10 seconds, I realized it was not a helicopter (I have group propulsion systems background and aeronautical engineering studies). I ran toward the back patio door (about 20 feet away) and called to my wife and children to come out and see it. My wife was the only one who did. As I turned with her to look, the craft was now directly over our house and stationery. Perhaps, the swimming pool lights attracted it. It was about 75 feet above us for 40 seconds. It made no sound, had circular windows in the lower portion of the upper dome, it had no visible connections and appeared as it were one solid piece, the skin was metallic, silver and shiny.

We noticed a rectangular window about 8-10 feet long and 4 feet wide in the frontal leading edge but just beneath the front circular edge. There was an orange, redish light emanating from inside but could not see any occupants. The craft moved as if it were caught in a slight breeze but made no sound. It angled forward and downward for a few seconds. We could see rectangular shapes (2) that ran the diameter of the craft under the concave bottom. We also saw two ski like devices in the front lower side that seemed as hanging or docking devices rather than skis because they were to far in front of what I considered a center of gravity of the craft. The craft had a diameter of at least 75-100 feet with a height of at least a 1.5 story house.

My wife kept repeating "oh my god" over and over again while I kept thinking take me with you! We decided not to discuss it but to draw what we each saw and then discuss it.

I know this craft did not apply earthly technology. We will never forget the experience and continue to search the skies.

Up close over backyard pool

Husband and wife state that an UFO hovered over their backyard.

The location of the sighting was Santa Clarita Valley, California, United States on July 13, 1979 According to the husband it was 10.00 p.m. in the evening when he initially saw the object. According to their testimony the object was 75-100 feet in diameter and directly overhead at a height of 50-75 feet. The object was disk shaped and its colouring was silver/white metallic. The length of the sighting was approximately 45 seconds.

He writes, "It was one warm summer Friday around 10:00 p.m. in the evening in California's Santa Clarita Valley. I was brushing the swimming pool with a long pole and attached brush so that the kids could swim the following day. The pole requires you reach up to push down. I was standing on a high platform next to and overlooking the pool and about 4 feet over the rest of the pool area. As I reached to the upper end of pole, I saw a craft approaching the house from about 1-2 blocks away and from the West and heading South East." "I knew right away that it was not a helicopter or plane. It seemed flatter and wider and with lights in a circumference of the main leading edege area. I ran towards the house, some 60 feet, and called my family to see it. Only my wife came out. By that time it was stationary directly over our house and pool. It was approximately 75-100 feet above us. We stood along side of the pool deck. It made no sound whatsoever, and it was at a complete stop over us for about 40 seconds. The only motion was a slight wobble and when it moved and tilted downwards at an angle. I was then able to determine that light was emanating from it's skin and not pool lights reflection. I took the downward tilting as some form of acknowledgment. It remained tilted downwards at a 30-40 degree angle for about 10 seconds. During the entire time, we were frozen in disbelief. It is a strange sensation knowing that what you are seeing is not supposed (to exist) and very foreign. It was (like) seeing a Greyhound Bus floating over your house!" Witness claims that it had a small portholes and lights around the upper dome section, He describes the object as solid, metallic and shiny. It had a dome on the upper section of the craft and seemed as if created from a single mold with no visible seams. The lower underneath section of the object was concave towards the center and had two rectangular shapes along side each other and the length of the concave under-section. The rectangular shapes were about 7-10 feet in width and ran along the craft's concave underside center.

"I also noticed 2 ski like devices on the front and on each side of the front underside. What caught my attention was that the devices were not in the center or the "center of gravity" for the craft's diameter and design but very forward. The skis were S shaped with the top of the S facing forward but a design I could not replicate even though I scored very high on isometric drawings and IQ tests that included realting drawing sequences.

Upon the craft leaning in a downward motion we could see a window or cockpit like glass that was situated in the underside, it was on the front lower edge of the round craft. The rectangular window was approximately 4 feet in height and possibly 8-10 feet in length. There was a glow of soft orange and blue lights from the inside but we could not see anyone or any controls".

It remained at a forward and downward angle for about 10 seconds. We both had the sensation of being watched. As it was angled, I noticed that light was emanating from the upper section that was not facing the swimming pool lights. Thus, it seemed to generate light through skin of the craft as the lights that first attracted me faced forward and was much lower than the upper section of the craft.

"My wife and I did not say anything to each other during the experience but she kept saying "oh my God" over and over again. The craft then left slowly at 30-40 MPH. I jumped on a wall around our property to continue seeing for at least 7-miles. I instructed my wife not to discuss it, to draw what she saw and then we would compare drawings. They matched, although mine had more detail and accuracy".

I have a background that includes working with Group Propulsion Systems, studied aeronautical engineering followed by busines and later as an executive with several major computer companies. "What we saw was close, real, solid, and a beautiful designed craft. I know from my aeronautical engineering background that mankind has no such technology", he concludes.

I saw a ball, off white, irregular borders similar to a fireball. It circled the area a number of times. Then, the object began to slowly approach where I was. As it did, the shape changed. Now it was a flat pie plate kind of shape. It hung in the area, hovering over at maybe a 45 degree angle. It was dark on top and light on the bottom Then, it started to move away again, changing back into the roundish shape. Circled around one more time, then it appeared to descend. And it was gone.

I know it was a Friday, starting about 8pm, in summer. Donny and Marie was on TV, so that's how I estimated. Lol

Close up Encounter

My wife and I had a very close up experience while living in Santa Clarita Valley. This occurred in 1978 but the memory lives in our minds as it were last night. We feel highly appreciative for the experience and are not afraid to openly discuss it without any intentions of financial gain.

It was the summer of 1978. Santa Clarita Valley is located north of the San Fernando Valley and north of Los Angeles. Santa Clarita was then a small and laid-back community mostly referred to as Valencia. We recently relocated back from a two-year international management assignment followed by a two-year management assignment in Arizona. We then were transferred to California and chose Santa Clarita because of the open spacious country living, low crime statistics, no smog, and nice neighborhoods. I purchased a two-story corner house with a swimming pool.

One Friday evening, around 7:30PM, I was using a long pole with an attached brush designed to sweep the walls of the pool. Our children would probably swim early the following morning and I wanted the pool to be clean. As I reached upwards on the pole to push downwards I saw a craft approaching.

The craft was at a distance equivalent one or two short blocks away and not flying parallel to streets but on a southeastern direction directly towards my position. It was immediately obvious to me that the craft was not a helicopter nor airplane since these would not normally fly that low and the physical characteristics did not match these. At that distance the craft seemed wider, with luminous lights in the circumference area of the frontal section (referred to as leading edge). I stared at it for a brief perplexed 10 seconds.

After realizing that it was something out of the ordinary, I ran down the steps from the poolside deck platform where I had been standing. The platform was about four feet higher than the pool water and the opposite surrounding pool deck area. It was about 15 fast running steps from there to the backyard entry to the family room. My wife and two children were watching television there. I yelled for them to come outside and see, but only my wife came out, the children were watching television.

My wife and I walked fast, perhaps 30 feet, towards the side of the pool opposite the platform side where I had been standing. By that time the craft was right over our pool area at an altitude of no more than 50-75 feet and perhaps even less.

The craft had come to a complete stop in proximity over one end of the pool area as we stood almost bellow it. The craft made no sound whatsoever. It wobbled slightly as if it was moved by the wind, but there was no noticeable wind at that moment. The craft leaned forward and downwards and then we saw a large forward angled window, located bellow the leading edge that was perhaps 8 feet in length and 3-4 feet in height.

We could see an orange bluish glow from inside but no occupants or controls. As the craft leaned forward I could see light emanating from its upper section and not from the pool lights reflection since the pool lights would be unable to reflect on the upper section. The craft seemed to be manufactured as one solid piece. There were no visible seams or rivets. The bottom of the craft was concave towards the center. In the deepest section of the concave center two rectangular objects were visible, which ran the length of the deep concaved section and seemed to be a few feet apart from each other. The craft had an upper dome with porthole like windows but no internal visibility. The upper dome was round and centered in relation to the lower part of the craft with no visible seams.

The total height of the craft appeared to be the equivalent of a one and half story typical track residence or less. I calculated the height by comparing it to our two-story house. The diameter was a! pproximately 50-60 feet or less. There were no visible markings, insignias or identification on the craft.

Under the front leading edge of the circular craft was some ski like protruding devices with two side-by-side configurations. The design I cannot replicate even though I always scored high in I.Q, tests where design progressions (similar to mathematical progressions) had to be decided from multiple drawing choices. I also remember thinking they were too far forward from the crafts center of gravity something we studied in Group Propulsion in relation to the length and loading of aircraft. The ski-like devices were similar to the letter “S” with the top of the S facing forward but with more elaborate details filling the gaps. At the time my conclusion, at the time, was they were some type of hanging or anchoring device.

During the entire experience lasting some 45 seconds or longer, my wife kept repeating “Oh my God!” over and over again. I tried to concentrate on details and in my mind kept repeating “take me with you.” We were both frozen in awe and disbelief. It was like seeing a large bus that I previously described as a Greyhound bus floating over your house. Both of us looked upwards and did not speak to each other during the sighting. There was no fear, an unprompted paralysis, and a high respect to what we were seeing. We both had the sensation of being watched primarily because the craft maneuvered downward at an angle towards us, and then regained a level position parallel to the ground.

As a part of my analysis during the experience I listened for other engines, other craft, or the possibility that this craft was being suspended from another craft as a hoax but concluded there were no other man-made craft in the vicinity. The craft then began to move at a very slow speed of around 20 miles per hour. I jumped on a wall that surrounded our backyard so that I could see the trajectory. I saw it between houses as it continued at that speed for at least 7 miles from our house, and heading in a southeast direction from Santa Clarita over a mountainous section of eastward Los Angeles County. I instructed my wife not to discuss it but to try to draw what she saw and then we would compare drawings. My drawings had more details. Then we began comparing the experience and both had seen the very same details.

My conclusion is that the craft wanted us to observe it or perhaps was examining us. I am 100% sure this was not a man-made craft or technology. I am also convinced by the event that U.S. Government intelligence agencies know we are being visited by extra-terrestrials and are hiding facts. To me, the only rationale reason is because they lied once about their existence (perhaps Roswell and others) and the complex structured secretive system is unable to reverse course, or that disclosure may cause the loss of statutory governmental powers as citizens realize that borders, religions and global federal governments are meaningless and helpless.

My conclusion leads me to think that the visitors do not wish to work with a single government as they are roaming global skies making their presence known. There were lingering questions in my mind after the sighting. Since the craft must originate from an advanced civilization why do they need windows? My technical assumption is that a! n advanced civilization would have cameras on the exterior that are able to duplicate exactly what is visible outside of the craft.

Why were we allowed to see the interior through the large window but not the occupants? After reporting the experience to the local Sheriff, he said they had no additional reports. Later someone who claimed he was with NASA automated airport sciences called me and said that his call was unofficial.

The only somewhat related experience was during a father daughter overnight camping event. The event was prior to our sighting experience. Several of my neighbors were FBI agents. During the outing two of the agents who had daughters were standing close to each other looking at the visible stars. One of them whispered to the other that he heard that strange crafts were often visible in the area. I was standing a few feet away from them and could hear them. During my earlier education, I graduated and was certified in Group Propulsion Systems and had a choice to either continue studies as a Flight Engineer or Aeronautical Engineering. I selected Aeronautical Engineering. Afterwards studied business management and was an early participant in Information Technology, as a systems analyst, followed by executive positions in the computer and software industry. I eventually formed my own international management consulting and international business services for Fortune 100 companies.
