Large light light appearing and dimming. Unknown aircraft with blue/purple lights on tips. Strange “search light”

Before seeing the aircraft, there was a large bright light that appeared suddenly. I grabbed my binoculars and looked in the direction of it as I believed it was a shooting star. The light dimmed and revealed behind a bit of fog what seemed like a rectangular unknown aircraft sighted above mountains. Purple/blue lights at the end of each tip, craft seemed to have a search light moving back and forth from it. The object stayed put in the sky then shot out of the sky quickly at an irregular angle.

Yellowish lights and a string of lights near Beaumont Kansas

We were on highway 400 about 50 miles east of Wichita Kansas. To our north at about a 45 degree angle above the horizon there was a yellowish light for a few seconds, then another about 7 degrees to the right of that (my finger length at arm’s length is about 7 degrees). The first light went out and a third light appeared a few degrees below the second one. These two stayed on together for about 3 seconds then a string of 6 lights appeared below the third on and stayed on for about 5 seconds. The second light then turned off and about 2 seconds later the string of lights went out. All the lights were a bright yellowish color and moved slightly relative to each other.

We live in town, Beaumont TX so light pollution normally creates adverse sky viewing even if it’s a clear night and no moon.

I was in are back yard at about 9PM moving a bicycle back to our storage room off the garage. It’s a nice dark spot and looking up I noticed I could see the stars really well and the moon was also almost directly overhead. So looking up at the moon and also scanning the western sky just for the heck of it- I happened to see what I at first thought was a passenger plane. I watched it for a second and thought it was interesting because I could not distinguish any flashing from the aviation lights. It also seemed to be travelling about double speed from a standard plane at cruising altitude. Even with that I just kept looking around at the stars and didn’t really think anything was that abnormal. Then, I noticed another one following the first light – in the exact same path and exact same speed. There was a good distance between them. At this point I had been staring up approximately 30 seconds. By the time the first light went out of view to my left (behind some large ! trees in our yard) I could see a third light coming into view from my right. Same path- same speed- same distance apart- same light brightness (about the same brightness as a medium star). So in my viewing field of the sky, I could see 3 of these lights at one time…..like a train here came two more and decided to run in the house to get the wife . She came out and was able to see the last 3 as the came by. The last one we watched as it was almost out of view to our left, my wife said it just vanished. I myself did not see it go out as I was looking to see if there were more coming. I could have sworn I saw a steak of light from that direction also. It was a super calm night – no jet noise could be heard. Maybe satellites? I don’t really think so, never seen any in train formation like that before.

I was outside a hospital smoking a cigarette.looked up and saw a bright white light that resembled a star, except it got dimmer and dimmer then slowly went away. I've seen this before. The first time was approximately 2 months ago (10/14). That time i heard a noise and my dogs went insane as the light seemed to disappear behind a small field of trees. My dog definitely felt something. Also when I got back in the house, it appeared that i lost track of time as 3 hrs had passed. As though i spent 3 hrs looking at that object. I recorded it. And im wondering. What did i see??

I was standing outside with my sister-in-law walking my dog when I noticed the strangest star in the sky. It seemed to slightly morph shapes and it was slowly dimming or moving away from earth. It them seemed to reappear and vanished behind a small field of trees near my house. I tried to go investigate but my dog wouldn't let me drag him. My sister in law ran in the house when she saw how the dog and I were reacting. He locked his paws to the ground in terror and i was just frozen. More strange, when i returned in the house to put the dog up,it seemed that 3 hrs had somehow gone by. Had i really been frozen that long?.

2 weeks later i had a horrible nightmare that 2 human-like creatures came out from that field of trees and entered my backyard setting off motion lights, only to have me rush outside to chase them away. Except they didnt run. In the "dream", as soon as i stepped outsdie, EVERYTHING FROZE. The beings walked to me and knocked me down ending the dream. I woke up finding that i had been sleep for over 24 hrs.I WILL NEVRR FORGET THOSE BEINGS OR THE SOUND I HEARD AS THEY NEARED ME IN THE DREAM.

Small black sphere flying at the speed of prop plane on a straight line that disappeared behind a small cloud and never re-emerged.

DATE OF SIGHTING: June 12, 2015
TIME OF SIGHTING: Approximately 7:00 pm

I was standing in my backyard. The weather was odd; very tropical for a pass situated just about seven minutes west of the desert. It feels more like Florida today than Beaumont, CA, which is located in Riverside County.

The sun, while setting, was still lighting up the sky enough to call it daylight, rather than twilight or dusk. To the south, the clouds were generally spaced apart with large patches of clear blue sky in between them.

To the north, there was a complete cover of darker clouds. There was a light sprinkle in my backyard at the time, and I was indulging in the few scattered cold raindrops, which were a welcome escape from the heat that had prevailed during the earlier part of the day.

As I looked up into the sky to watch a small number of tiny birds flapping around above me (almost straight up and a little south), a small, spherical object caught my eye. At first, I thought it was just another bird. But as I followed its course, I realized it was an actual craft of some sort on a particular flight path (moving in a straight line from the west to the east). I also realized that it was much higher in the sky than the birds I had been watching. In fact, as it passed a few of the scattered clouds in that area, I could see it actually pass through the very bottom of a few of them.

The object was black (almost a matte black, to be exact), although I’m sure that at that height, it’s impossible to be sure that it wasn’t just shadowed due to the weird time of day and the strange, partly rainy, partly sunny weather we were having at the moment. To my naked eye, it was a smaller, black sphere going about the speed of a prop plane.

As its straight vector took in either into or behind a fairly small darker grey cloud, it disappeared from view. I waited longer than needed given its speed and trajectory, but never saw it emerge from the cover of that cloud. There was no sound, may have been multiple witnesses (I’m not sure, it being less than an hour since I saw it) due to the fact that the Beaumont Sports Park is only separated from my backyard by my picket fence, and from the time I noticed it to the time it mysteriously disappeared, I had personally viewed it for maybe 20-30 seconds.

One small final detail that somewhat solidified for me that what I had just witnessed was not normal was this: Maybe 2-3 seconds after the object had disappeared behind the cloud, a fair sized propeller plane came into view from behind the same cloud, on nearly the same trajectory as the sphere, but moving in the opposite direction (from east to west)!

There was absolutely no way that what I had seen was this plane for three reasons off the top of my head: One – The sphere had no extensions protruding from it anywhere. It was just a perfect sphere, while the plane was instantaneously recognizable by its perfectly distinguishable wings and tail… Two – There was no way a plane could have banked and done a complete 180-degree turn in 2-3 seconds… And Three – The plane, as it passed overhead, made the humming sound that all propeller planes do, while the sphere that I had seen only seconds before emitted no sound whatsoever.

Driving home on the 10 fry near my home in Beaumont, first I saw what looked like an embryo lit up in bright red light fly by heading west, right after that I saw a octagon shaped ufo glide over ubove our cars to my left it was dark grey with white ligts.

I was looking up at it so I saw it's underside. Several cars saw it, slowing down, a couple of cars pulled over.

In less then a mi. I got off at my off ramp and pulled over. I wanted to get a picture, but my camera was at home. Plus I no longer could see it.

As I proceeded toward my neighborhood I saw what looked like a long strings of red light which would change to white lights, similar to what I had seen about 2 yrs ago with my friend.

I only wish I had a picture.

3 white lights flashing in sequence over Beaumont, Texas

My husband and I had just finished eating at a restaurant in Beaumont, Texas. It was about 10:00 PM, Central time. On the way out to the car, in the parking lot, I looked up and saw what I thought was an airplane.

I kept watching it, and I realized that it didn't have the same type of lights as an airplane does. The lights were white, unlike airplane lights that are green, red, and white, and they were flashing in sequence.

There was no noise such as you hear when a jet flies overhead. The object was silent or nearly silent.

The object appeared to be triangular, but it was very hard to tell, since it was dark outside at the time. I didn’t see any real outline of the object, again probably because it was so dark. It took a straight path over my head and over the restaurant.

I took a video (I take my camera everywhere), but it was extremely difficult to keep the camera stable without a tripod. I’m always aggravated with UFO videos that are taken by a camera operator with a shaky hand, but now I realize just how hard it is to keep a moving object in the shot while also trying to watch it yourself.

I was very excited, because I'd never seen anything like this before. Eventually the object just flew too far to keep track of. I still don't know what it was, but I'd certainly like to. It would be fantastic if someone has the proper equipment to stabilize this clip and/or do some sort of analysis. As it is, you can't tell much at all. Also, I'm sorry for the language at the end.

Early am my dog barked to go outside because he is 17 years I have to lift him and take him outside my back fenced in yard. I sit on my patio and wait for him and if it clear I look at the stars. I am a very frequent flyer on Continental and know what planes look like at night.

I rushed for the video camera and of course not charged and no tape. The "flashing dot" completed circled this one star to the left then if I were not scared enough directly to the right I saw the same event around another star.

I watched going in and out of my home to see if I had enough charge to record the event as it was still happening and I would just add to and old tape. The object to the left got extremely bright and when this "flashing dot" was at the left side of the left star - "it" shot off to the left got very bright and almost looked like a falling star moving in a downward path almost the angle of a left side of a pyramid but was moving so incredibly fast.

At that point, I used a couple of choice words "holy shxx" to be exact and went inside and locked my door. Called while the event was occurring.

"Black Triangle" UFO with 3 White Lights on Each Point Seen in Beaumont, TX

I was waiting in my car to pick up a friend in a parking lot of an apartment complex located off Hwy 69 near the I-10 junction in Beaumont, Texas. It was a clear night and I was enjoying the cool weather and had both windows and my sunroof open. I was with someone else, but they had just exited the car for a moment.

I was just looking around, not paying much attention to anything, when what I thought was a low-flying aircraft caught my eye through the open sunroof. I looked up, and saw what looked like a low-flying equilateral black triangle with bright white lights on each point traveling along at a moderately fast pace directly above me. It wasn't going too fast for me to be able to follow it, but at the same time, it was gliding very smoothly and much too quickly for the altitude it looked like it was at.

As soon as I saw it, I got chills. I knew it was not normal.

I followed its path, which was an estimated northeast to southwest direction until it seemed to either fade away or just go too far away for me to see it (although that did not seem possible because of the clearness of the night). It made absolutely no noise that was audible to me.

I almost told my friend when they came back, because I was pretty shaken up, but I thought better of it. I came home, did some internet research, and was amazed to find out about the "Black Triangle" phenomenon. I had no prior knowledge of this.

I must add that I was completely sober and relaxed, and UFOs were the last thing on my mind at that time. I believe what I saw was 100% real. It's definately made a believer out of me.

I'd like to know if anyone else from my area has seen similar things.

I Brought my dog out at the time entered In the description to get some fresh air,no longer than a few seconds while we were outside standing toward the North something caught my eye that I have never seen again,It was a Orange light traveling slowly maybe 100-200 feet above the top of the pinetrees,Movement was very slow and Eradic,Like It was Bouncing up and down side to side,There was absolutely no sound whatsoever coming from this object,I called for my wife to come outside so tht she could see,she came out and was just as amazed as I was to see that the object was emmitting sparks or flares of some kind about every 10-15 seconds From the bottom and backside.I have seen something very unusal and I believe Monumental,Could It be Government ? Exploding, traveling light that traveled far faster and more sparatically than any craft I've seen.

My family and I were driving toward Winnie, TX, around 9 p.m. in the evening on the 27th of August, so as to goto the beach for the weekend. We were driving on the interstate a bit after the sun had already set, and I was leaning my head on the backseat passenger window just gazing out into the sky. My father was driving, and my mother was in the front passenger seat. I soon noticed a tiny white light traveling in a sparatically upward pattern. I dismissed it as a plane, but soon realized that the craft was changing direction far too much to be any kind of passenger jet. I followed it silently as it changed direction instantly several times, trying to keep focused on it. I soon told my mother, and she noticed the craft too. We were both astonished by its irregular motion, and it soon dissapeared into the distance, as if it had suddenly shot away from us, instantaneously. But, seconds later, it re-appeared, the light was still at the same opacity, but it had re-appeared in a location far from where it had disappeared. We were both a little frightened by the reality of the situation, but it didn't cause us to jump to conclusions or anything else of that sort. We were still on the interstate, and we had told my father of the craft, but he was busy driving and was not able to get a look. My mother and I followed the craft as it seemed to stop dead in the sky. No longer than it had been motionless, it began to give off what seemed tiny little explosions. It looked like the craft was kind of popping bright shimmering fireworks. It looked much like very dim artillery shell-style fireworks blowing up right off of the craft itself. We watched this happen several times, 8-10 times. We could even see would seemed like the little embers from these explosions floating downward toward the ground. The craft continued to kind of spontaneously combust, and eventually began moving once again in its sparatic movement. We watched it move across the sky and eventually dissapear once again, all the while it was still exploding like a faint artillery shell. It eventually left our sight.

Qbject was moving from east to west at a moderate speed(comparable to a piston aircraft)I did not see any wings and what first made me notice it was that although it was at approximately the same height as other aircraft in the area , the object left no vapor trail(contrails)it was ,from my vantage point,somewhat round in shape and dark brown to almost a copper color.What you must know is that I was looking at this object thru yellow tinted safety glasses so the color may be off,but it was easier to observe with the safty glasses on.I am an Ironworker working a shutdown in Beaumont Texas, we are always looking up.

me and my friend just got back from watching freddy versus jason at the theatre and we were sitting on the fence looking at the full moon (it was big and bright) and we were talking about mars i don't know why but i told him that scout ships were going to be comming to check out the earth, a couple of minutes later i turned to my right and saw something that caught my attention i told my friend look!! and he jumped over to see he said oh my god how did you see that it was across the street from us about 30-40' long, black no lights or sound about 20-30' above the house across the street from his, he ran into the house and told everyone him and his nephew came out with binoculars as it was flying from west to east (you can walk faster than it was moving)i told my friend to look at the leafs in the tree there not moving (so it wasn't wind propelled)as it turned and went northeast it fliped 180 degrees and went towards the mountains it was black with dark gray as it went under the moon there was no reflection of light from the moon on the object it proceeded northeast untill it disapeard out of sight. then 10 minutes later a helicopter went out from the west but a little northern from us and i told my friend take notice helicopters don't fly into the mountains at night a couple of minutes later what appeard to be a falling star went into the same area as the strange craft and the helicopter i just want to know what is going on. is it really what me and my friend think it is because i really think it is extraterestrial and i can't tell if it's good or evil (because it was dark no sound no light's.) it looked like it was looking right at us as it was floating by before it did the flip and started going towards the mountain

V shape to U shape object in Sky April 2003 this item was huge!

One ship, night sky early morning hours around four o'clock. At first I thought it was the international space station I could not see the craft but what I did see was lights in the shape of a V to a U, I watch object for upwards to 30 minutes so I knew it was not an airplain, and when it started making a long 90 degree turn I knew that it was not the space station. At first the direction was from west to east, and after the 90 degree turn it was heading north. The altitude must have been at least sixty miles plus in order to be in my view for such a period of time. So it could have been a spy satellite but if it was it was a hugh one. And there was no noise what so ever.

Also have a sighting tht took place in essex, amboy california in 1994 this is a very interesting story filled with witnesses. If interested let me know

Very big black diamond shaped but slightly flat oval object with bright red lights. The object darted around a few times.

This is the most terrifying thing i have ever seen. I decided to report it. While i was driving in my car on the 60 fwy headed East to the 10fwy (Palm Springs) I noticed a small fierce lighted object in the sky. It looked like a it was going to crash into the mountains. The sky was dark. Overcast weather with slight rain. The object was small at first then all of a sudden ... it got bigger like a flash of pictures. Its movement made no sense to me and i knew it was not a plane or car. It was the size of about 5 semi trucks put together. It had no white, blue, green, or yellow lights ... just red window like very bright lights. It darted from the right to the left and caused me and 4 or 5 other motorists to slow down and check what the heck it was. I couldnt turn around or stop traffic so i kept going. One driver seemed to pull over or lag behind the other vehicles to get a closer look. The Object was Black, with bright red lights, diamond shaped but wider. I noticed it had levels of lights in an organization that was not human like. I would like to hear from others if they saw this object. I am a sane, female. 30 years old. I am a full time professional worker and i was traveling to see my mother in Joshua Tree. I live in Orange County.

Shiny object flying a rectangular grid pattern along the path of Highway 90 in Beaumont, Texas

Hello, I will keep this short. I have not said anything publicly for almost 40 years but with the wealth of information you have I thought it might prove useful, perhaps to corroborate some other sightings. I am sorry I cannot give you a date. It has been too long. The way it acted might prove useful.

I filled in a date on the form so it would go through but it was 1969 to 1971 in Beaumont, Texas. It was Summer and in the afternoon, I think it was a Sunday but I am not sure. It was clear and sunny. I was on interstate 10 heading west, which is actually south on this section of the highway in Beaumont. The sighting was to my right or towards the west. This is what occurred.

I saw a shiny object darting in the sky. It was so unique I pulled onto the side of the road as the road rose over Highway 90. To my left was Gateway Shopping center. I pulled up behind two or three other cars that had also pulled over to watch. Another car pulled over behind me. We all got out and stood watching. The object flew between points very rapidly (I mean almost instantly) and then hovered. It flew in a square or rectangular pattern moving out Highway 90 toward Houston. It overlapped itself and worked farther and farther away. If I had to guess, I would say it was coming back about half way each time it made the return leg on my left. Anyway, it moved much farther away on my right than it returned on my left. My first thought was that it was mapping or surveying. It flew this pattern until it simply was too far away to see anymore. It took a long time. It is hard to say because I did not time it but it must have been ten or twenty minutes before it was too far away to see.

It stopped at each corner for only ten or fifteen seconds, as it flew the grid centered over Highway 90, so each square took one minute or less. It flew 15 or twenty of these that were visible after I stopped. It was impossible to tell how high, how far away or how large it was. There was absolutely no scale to work with.

It was not like a light. It was the sun reflecting off something but I cannot say what shape it was. I doubt that it was long unless pointing away from me. The light was concentrated instead of spread out.

We watched together without speaking, at least not from one group to the other, and when it was over, we shrugged at each other, got in our cars and drove away. I hope this is useful. Once you have seen one, you wonder why everyone tries so hard to deny them. We still do not have anything that can do what this craft did and it did not seem to be a threat.

You asked for info on me. I am 54, owned a supply company for over twenty years and I am now a full time college student. I am an Environmental Science major at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and I think I was a student at Lamar when this sighting occurred (Either that or a senior in high school). I have a fairly high IQ and no reason to fake this. There is nothing to gain from this.

It would be nice to find out if others reported something similar. I have never seen or heard of anything similar.

Huge smoke trail in upper atmosphere. Cought on film.

I am not the wittness to this but did however see the film on our local news broadcast.Im not sure of the date at all but it has not been moe than a year.My concern is that this sighting is dead meaning the woman who filmed it in broad daylight gave it to the local news station and never reported it to any investigater.To me this sighting was very significant.The short piece of footage they showed on the news was a huge ball of steaming smoke that was just rolling off of something big coming in to the atmosphere.The news stations to contact would be either channel 6 or 12 in Beaumont Texas.Please contact me for any questions at ((address deleted)) Thanks

I was on a table and could see my feet and it seemed that I could see OLD solid wall facing me ..

An unseen entity,( it felt small, head right above my shoulder) on right side, was pressuring me to listen to it..it was not audible but I could still hear it., I think it called my name and said I could understand it if I wanted too and I knew I could..

I was terrified to the max! I kept telling myself not to listen to it..

It seemed calm but kept max pressure on me to understand it and listen..

I couldn't stand pressure and the fear and decided to listen even though I thought it was lieing.

In my mind I said I would pray and immediately SAW a lighted or glowing entity ( taller and more frighting)( but to me I was glad li was there) to my left in another doorway, they seemed To battle (lots of energy flashing) with other entity..(I did not see battle, just felt as though it was) Next thing I remember was a light coming out of my middle section that made a triangle that seemed to bounce off the wall in front of me and somehow it was going in my middle section and ended with light, circling going up into something not far above my head..

I could feel and see circling, serene peace that I have never felt before...

That's all I remember..be it a dream or encounter..it was real! I also had another encounter of flying in very small craft..

Watched star like object on the horizan go up in an arch and then approach me and fly close enough so I could see the pilot.

As a police officer at the time I was on a stake out when I observed a brilliant star on the far horizan. I took my eyes off the star and resumed surveilance of a parking lot. A few minutes later I went back to the star only to find it high in the sky. I then observed it decend in a slight arch back to its original location. I called another officer to my location and he and I sat there and watched as the object got closer and actually came close enough so that we could see the pilot in the cockpit and the instrument lights reflecting off of his helment and visor.The craft had a huge light on the front (about 20 ft. in diameter) but, there was no light emitted from it. I would describe it as more (DIAMOND LIKE) and that is what we mistook for a bright twinkling star. The Pilot was deffinatly humanoid and when he observed us observing him, he put the craft in hyperspeed and left the area in an instant without any sound at all. I was never allowed to submitt an official report on the incedent and a check of the locall airport indecated nothing on radar at that time.

Aprox. 30 Disk shaped UFOs fell out of clouds got in V formatin and shot toward a black rain cloud avoiding a Jet Plane.

A brother and I were working on the outside of a house in South Beaumont on 9/9/1954 or 9/11/1954. I remember that New York had a hurricane of their coast on that day. We heard a Jet Plane overhead. It was cloudy so we did not see the Jet. (We are both Air Force Vets and know their sound which were few in number in 54.) We saw what appeared to be free falling disks. They had the motion of free falling paper plates (powerless). They then stopped decending and slowly got in a V formation. The Jet, which they appeared to be avoiding, was out of hearing range at that time. Then they started moving in a southerly direction. The Jet plane was going north. They flickered as they moved and turned to the East toward a large Black rain cloud. They quickly accelerated to a very high speed still in V formation. Estimated speed was about 450 MPH. They were unstable and took turns shooting up or down (90 deg.turns) and then returning to their position in the fast moving V formation. These dull metallic colored disks then disappeared into the dark rain cloud. No lights or sounds were noted. They were at approx. 4000 ft elevation and appeared to me to be about 4 to 6 ft. in diameter. I have seen no more UFOs in the last 49 years.

We made no report since the Blue Book croud were calling everything Weather baloons. We did see reports that UFOs were seen in 5 Nations on that same day.
