Two round, stationary yellow lights (like head lights) spaced approx. mile apart, in sky, high above the horizon that went black

Just after sunset, the horizon was not completely dark, my husband and I spotted two perfectly round, large yellow tinted lights, spaced far apart, (hard to estimate their distance from each other) but were exactly even with each other (like huge head lights) and were approximately 45 degrees above horizon where sky was dark. They appeared to be stationary. Almost as soon as we saw them, they both shut off as if they had been switched off and we could see nothing in their place, just dark sky.

At the top of a hill over looking the Pacific Ocean. Looking at the stars. Looked to our right and saw 5 bright orange lights close to each other, the farthest left light was the brightest. Then, one by one from the right hand side going towards the bright light, each one went dim until they all disappeared. Continuously looking for it again, 3 minutes later, it was further in the distance to the right, farther away, and at and angle, where the brightest light would be towards us. Then disappeared. 3 ish minutes after that, three red vertical lights were in the sky, assuming they were military, got in formation then all went south inland over the CA coast.

I first explained it , in the moment to my boyfriend, as a shooting star staying in place, with lights as the tail.

Solid white Orb sighted in Big Sur, CA over ocean flying west to south before suddenly vanishing over Pacific Ocean

On the night of June 7, 2018, my wife and I were staying at the New Camaldoli hermitage in Big Sur, CA. At around 10:00 pm, we were standing outside looking at the stars when I noticed a solid bright white light in the sky to the west of us. I initially thought it was a planet until I realized it was moving. Over the span of 5-10 minutes, it moved from the western horizon to a point directly south of us over the Pacific Ocean. At first it moved at a steady speed in a straight line, but then it slowed, appearing to arc. When it got directly south of us, it suddenly disappeared from view even though we had an unobstructed view of the object. It

The light seemed to be about the size of Jupiter to the naked eye. It was a solid white light and appeared larger than an airplane and very high in the sky.

My wife took some pictures of the object and recently, while reviewing them, we zoomed in on the object. The zoomed in image seems to show a circle with a dot in the center surrounded by solid light.

Shiny, rounded object in daylight, moving steady towards ocean, then gone.

I was hiking up a mountain (South of Bixby bridge & North of Little Sur) off HWY 1 in California. I noticed an extremely rounded shape object in the sky over the mountains. The object was “gliding” at a steady speed going west, towards the ocean. There was bright light reflecting or coming from the “front” of the object while the back seemed darker. The brightness made me notice the object. The object was against light blue sky and passing thru some wispy cloud. The sun was behind me.

I stopped moving, turned to my friend, then I pointed into the sky where I was last looking. The object was gone, with no sound and we could not spot anything in the sky. I knew this was not an airplane.

Slow moving, silent large blinking red light less than 1/2 mile from me heading south over Pacific Ocean.

Very slow moving, silent blinking red light seen while viewing meteor shower this morning. Over the ocean, headed south. I watched it for 15 minutes. It appeared to veer right suddenly and it seemed as though another light, either white or green, emitted from it and then came back to the path, returning to red again. It then stayed in one spot for a couple of minutes before continuing south. The light was big and that was all that I could see as it was dark. It appeared to be directly over the coastline where I live, less than 1/2 mile from me.

Report Re. UFO off coast near Big Sur, CA @2:35-2:55 AM Oct 28, 2011 A large red star-like orb, many times brighter than any bright star, was observed out my window facing west over the ocean on Friday morning. It reminded me of the light from an electronic device so to verify I went outside to watch it alone, observing a short tail as it slowly moved from about 45degrees west of the horizon going WNW towards the horizon.

It blazed up very brightly with a very long comet-like tail colored flame red before gradually fading out to nothing as it approached the western Pacific Ocean rim.

I was expecting a sound but couldn’t hear anything and the night was very quiet. I have a very good view of the ocean so there was no impediment to my view from ambient light or obstructions as I live in an isolated part of the coast.

2 glowing blue and red triangular forms change into human form at Big Sur. Also, red irridescent squid like being dances above sea.

Night fell upon us around 8 and started hiking back up trail around 9. My friend noticed what looked like two headlights but on the ocean. After looking at them for a while they started to transform taking on the shape of what I can only explain as large red squid like beings that floated on the ocean and changed shapes when it stopped floating above the water. It formed into a giant human like form still in the red dotted form as tall as the cliff and walked on the water for a couple seconds. It also seemed to have long tenticles of red dotted light that would take over the night sky by doing shows for us as we watched this mystical thing.

After watching the show in the ocean we realized it was getting even later.

Around 10 we relized we need to hike up that long upward trail, it was so eerie and dark. Midway up the trail I saw 2 triangular shapes on vivid blue with white circles as eyes the other glowing red with bright yellow accents on top on the top of the trail. I asked them to come towards us if they were good spirits. As they came towards us they changed from vibrating light fictures into human form. One changed into a tall man with pants and a dark face the other became a larger woman with a long blue dress on. And as they changed form they approached us at alarming speed I felt threatened so I said " STOP!"then started praying the our father n hail mary.

They stopped in their tracks and turned around and disappeared up the mountain just as fast as they came towards us. We saw the blue and the red triangular shapes as we drove back towards monterey on the hwy 1 coast as well as a large spot light come of the ocean followed by the red dotted squid like ocean creature they stayed with us until after we past the carmel highlands. But there are many things that reside there that are not from this world. I forgot to mention what seemed to be a giant angel that had red glowing wings and a glowing yellow core it also followed us as we drove back home.

Large Bright Object, intially stationary, moves quickly across large area of sky, dropping "balls of light", accelerates into space.

I am an ex military jet pilot. (USMC) 42 years old. (I add this detail as my qualification for this posting) My wife woke me at 2 am to show me a Bright Object in the sky above our cabin in the Big Sur Wilderness. The sky in that area is dark and has the advantage of having no city lights to "throw" a viewer. The night was extremely clear with no smoke or haze or moonlight.

The Bright Object was steady and appeared to be an orange colored Star. Larger than other stars in the sky.

First we saw what appeared to be a shooting star drop down, right next to the Bright Object. The shooting star did not come from the object but was near it.

Suddenly the Bright Object dropped what appeared to be a bright plasma ball similar from our vantage point to what one would normally term a shooting star. At that moment the Bright Object suddenly began to move from East to West and had the shape of a diamond, but it appeared as if the entire Object was on fire. Like a space shuttle on fire. As it moved, it dropped two more "Plasma balls" or "Shooting stars" and simultaneously, it left a large "Smoke trail", which did not have the consistancy of smoke, but more like the trail of a comet. Then, in a flash it seemed to accelerate out of our atmosphere and disappeared, leaving the "Smoke trail" which lasted for another 20 minutes in the star filled sky.

The important part of the sighting is that the Bright Object first appeared STATIONARY and only after dropping the first of several "Shooting stars" or "Plasma Balls" did it begin to move across the night sky from East to West. No noise could be heard during the entire event.

As an ex military jet pilot, I know of no technology that would allow a craft or even a meteor to behave in this way.

My friends and i were getting ready to go to sleep when we were awakened by a strong wind shaking our tent. We went outside to make sure everything was put away and noticed it was an extremely hot wind, about 10 to 15 degrees above what it was earlier. This strange wind was followed by a strange bright orange glow coming from the western part of the park.

Stars in the sky dancing in the middle of a clear day.

It was a clear day and my husband and I were alone at Arroyo De La Cruz beach in Big Sur California. We saw about six UFOs that looked like stars high in the sky coming from opposite directions meeting together above us. They came together and made shapes then the shapes would spin and they would all take off back from were they came from. They repeated this process over and over again for about an hour. There were a few air planes that passed by way closer to the ground than the UFOs in that time. You could tell the UFOs were going 100 times faster. I thought it was weird that there was no thunder from the sound barrier being broken.

Report of UFO Siting 3/25/79

For many years now I have wanted to report this incident which occurred on highway one in Big Sur, California in March 1979 around 8pm.

Myself and a friend named Jimmy were hiking in the mountains around Big Sur all day and were tired and wanting a place to stay for the night. We stopped at one of the only motels along the road called Lucia in an area which was otherwise quite wild, and asked for a room but for various reasons were not able to stay there so began hiking south on highway 1 to the nearest campground. It was dark and we were very tired but there were no cars and we were walking so we had no choice but to continue. We left the motel (there was a gas station there too) and when we got far enough away from there that there were no more lights visible from the road we had the ocean to our right and the mountains coming right off the road to the left. We noted that any plane or ship passing the area could be heard more clearly as it echoed off the mountains. As we walked we looked out over the ocean and noted a silent triangular amber glowing craft hoovering above the ocean and casting a very large circle of light that appeared like a search light of some sort. We immediately realized that it was not from Earth. As we watched it began a lateral ascent, parallel with the shore and it dropped something amber glowing into the ocean. At that point it began leaving a phosphorescent trail of light resembling a jet stream behind it and then a few seconds later it dropped another glowing object into the ocean and continued to move slowly upward in a linear rise while still trailing the phosphorescent light. It was moving slowly and appeared to be about 1/2-1 mile out on the ocean. Abruptly, it turned left and shot into space. My friend through up his arms and yelled “Wait! Take me with you!” at which point from a tiny yellow star in the night sky it sent back two phosphorescent beams of light that started out as superimposed triangles which came straight at us where we were standing and eventually stop! ped as a formation hoovering over the water near shore and reflecting in the ocean below us. We both agreed that the formation resembled a vertebrae if you were looking down a spinal cord. It had a black hole in the middle of it and 3 spines coming off of it like a vertebrae. That light stayed in the air for about 10 min. before disappating. The jetstreams were there even longer. We were entirely energized by the experience which has forever changed my view of the world. I had reported the incident to the local paper in Santa Cruz, California the day after it happened to see if anyone else had reported such a siting and it was published in the paper which I didn't realize until I was sitting several days later on the beach covered with poison oak from the hike we did there and I was approached by a guy on the beach who asked me where I got the poison oak. I told him Big Sur and he told me about the article. He said he had lived at he campground where we slept that night and that there were all sorts of strange lights coming from behind the mountains there but when they would try to approach them, they would meet with force fields that would make it impossible for them to get closer. He felt certain also that there were very strange things going on there and wasn't surprised to hear our story.

I have this incident documented in a journal which is why the dates are so clear but the memory is as clear as though I saw it a minute ago. I have never heard of another encounter like this one. It definitely felt as though they knew we were there and that the light show at the end was for us. It was utterly spectacular. With all recent crop circles coming around the world, I have become very interested in becoming a part of the movement to understand and/or communicate with whatever is doing this. I feel that they are studying us like we study animal life on our own planet. We are primitive to them and they are being careful not to come on too strong, just giving us beautiful crop art and occasional sitings of their otherwise invisible craft. I heard recently that we have learned how to make things invisible and that this was learned through alien technology. I want to know more about this. I was at Nepethe Lodge in the Big Sur area with a friend of mine and we were having dinner. I looked up at the sky and thought I was seeing a falling star; I pointed it out to my friend, as we were watching it, it stopped and made a sharp turn, like a sharp left turn. We were both stunned and I asked whether she saw what I saw and she confirmed that she saw the same thing. It was very high in the sky and looked like a star. We both agreed that it could not be a plane,a jet, a satellite, or anything we could recognize, and it certainly was not a shooting star. It was moving very fast. This was the second sighting I have had in my life thus far. Once, when I was very young and then, this sighting, as a young adult. How can mankind be so vain to think we are the only forms of intelligence in the entire universe. It was amazing . . . a bright star (it was bright) looking object, coming down like a shooting star and pausing and then making a sharp turn. I really don't believe we had, nor have, anything that can move like that moved.
