Object appeared to naked eye as a metallic rectangle that seem to crumple up and expand at an inconsistent rate

I was just about to turn on to my street when a flashing object caught my eye. My first thought was it was a bunch of balloons someone released. I realized it wasn’t when it took on the shape of a rectangle. Even though I had to be somewhere shortly, I pursued the object so I could get a better glimpse and a video. I didn’t go that far in pursuit because I didn’t want to loose the opportunity to take a video. To the naked eye, the object appeared to change shape like it was crumpling up and expanding. It seemed to be roughly 500 ft in the sky and the size of a refrigerator. I also observed it moving slowly to the northwest. Luckily the house nearby had a flag that indicated the wind blowing to the northeast. I would have pursued further if I didn’t have to be somewhere shortly.

The first object looked like a helicopter and the second object was a luminescent orb.

The first object flew around erratically, then an object flew fast down from a nearby mountain range, then I noticed a bright yellow orb, which changed colours constantly, yellow to red, in and out, moving from side to side. Hard to answer your other questions because the two objects were very different.

Amorphous blob of light, faded into red dot, shot beam of light over mountains. Beam of light moved around quite a bit.

At ~9:30pm me and my coworker/friend saw a large amorphous bright white-blue light over the mountain range directly to the east of us (~12mi away).
It faded in an irregular fashion into a faint red dot and shot a beam of light to the north over the mountain range. The beam of light came and went, and rotated around in a mechanically fashion. Judging by the minimum distance it was from us, the beam of light had to have extended 3-5mi over the mountain range. The object appeared to occasionally shift around in a fixed location i.e. shift up and down slightly.

Side note: I wonder if the white-blue light we saw was it shooting its beam at us.

This occurred for about 15 minutes.

Bright white light moving across the sky

I was outside smoking a cigarette when I happened to look up and noticed a bright white light in the sky. At first I thought it was a planet, but it was moving. Then I thought perhaps it was a plane, but it was moving too fast and it wasn't flashing. I took a 3 second exposure photo at 3x zoom, then a 6 second video at 3x zoom. I looked down to ensure video saved, but when I looked up the light was gone. I've tried to upload the picture and video, but there seems to be an issue uploading.

Dome shaped craft glided east from the Pacific.

Driving northbound on Broadway, HWY 101, in the vicinity of 4th street, south of the marina, I noticed an object that resembled a sand dollar, a circular shaped dome, that glided from the west, off the Pacific, toward the east, near the northern city limits.

Most striking were several colored rays of light, blue, red, green, and yellow, which appeared to emanate in a circular fashion from the dome. As best I could tell, the object was about 20 feet in diameter, and looked to be traveling between 700 and a 1,000 feet. It was 7:15 AM, just as the sun was coming up, and skies were clear. The object was visible for approximately 3 to 4 minutes as it skirted the city limits.

Two white lights traveling at a high rate of speed.

Driving east bound on rural highway 54, between eldorado Ks and eureka Ks. About 5 miles west of eureka. Very clear dark night, two white lights, tiny or way off in the distance looking almost straight north. The white light were clearly chasing each other, what got me most excited is both light traveling very fast came to a complete stop, went straight up, stopped then took off again headed west. I stopped pulled over and watched them travel west for a few seconds until they were out of sight.

Three of us were out fishing north of Eureka California ,total darkness other than flashlights when noticing a string 40 to 50 lights at very high altitude following each other across the sky, amazing sight all evenly spaced headed north easterly direction, there was no telling how many we missed before we noticed them. There was no sound seem like an endless stream of them, we did see two flying to one side of them following at the same speed that we're not quite as bright they all seem perfectly spaced. Surely not something you see everyday or nite.

Yellow orange light moving over Eureka, KS.

I was on my way back from my barns, after helping my mother pull a calf out of a heifer. When I got home, I saw something bright and orange in the sky towards the Eureka area . (I lived 20 miles north of eureka, so I was looking south.) I thought the light was just a bright star at first but then it blinked of and re appeared in a different spot it kept doing this in re appearing in different spots.

I call my wife and kids out the house to witness what I was seeing. I even called my father who saw the same thing from 1 mile to the west of us. The night sky was clear with no clouds and I could see multiple jets flying very high. Compared to the jets flying in a straight line this was much father away and the distances between where it would appear and re appear made no since.

In seconds this light would move randomly up and down by distances of at least 30 miles. When the light would fade out I could still kind of make out a low glow that let me know something was still there and I would see tiny lights flying fast around it.

My daughter caught the object on her amazon freefire tablet.

The apparently mobile makeshift landing and takeoff zone was located in a narrow valley between the city of Eureka and Silver City. There were orange light balls falling from very high altitudes (resembling meteors) the Delta's would dart towards these objects and circle them in close proximity. I observed one of the Delta's actual collide with one of the objects knowing it off course.

Witnessed trailer hauling Flying Saucer

While driving S on I 44 between St. Louis, MO, and Eureka, MO, we encountered a large group of police and other army type vehicles with lights flashing, as we approached we were watching and there was a trailer surrounded by these vehicles hauling a large saucer, it looked as if they were having difficulty going through an underpass. The saucer shape was like nothing we'd seen before.

We continued on, stopped in Eureka for the night, at the Steak and Shake restaurant, the employees were outside and immediately asked if we had seen the flying saucer. They were in contact with others who were trying to get closer but were being turned away. We have photos too.

While driving, I noticed a large disc shaped metallic object in the sky above The Humboldt Bay. The metal was shiny and reflective. I was working with a client of mine who yelled "Look up! I was outside at Six Flags (nobody was around as the park was closed) when I saw it. Very surreal. It didn't really hear any noise, but I at least had a feeling of movement and a low sound (possibly infrasound?).

Multiple red flickering lights moving in unison.

At least 7 objects, flickering bright red, about the same color as a highway flare, moving in a rough formation from east to west.

Objects appeared brighter than the moon. The rose slightly as they moved, all moved at the same speed. The area of the sky involved was from about 30 to 45 degrees above the horizon, and they occupied about 60 degrees of arc.

Compared to the almost full moon, they looked to be about 1/20 the size of it to the eye. No sudden movements. No noise. They all faded out in order as they reached about the same area to the left of the moon about 10 degrees, like they had changed direction at that point and moved away rapidly.

Humboldt County Coastline. 2 sightings.

Event Date: Friday March 15, 2O13 Event Time: 1145 PST Event Duration: 30 seconds - 60 seconds Fortuna/Eureka California Single witness Disc/cigar shaped craft single craft I was driving from San Francisco to Kneeland, California the morning of Friday March 15,2013. The skies were uncharacteristically clear. Not a cloud in sight. AT ALL. I was driving north on the US HWY 101 when I looked up to see what looked like a white wingless airplane, flying at what appeared to be EXTRA-ORDINARY speeds directly West, towards the ocean. Abruptly the craft stopped and sped back the direction from which it came, East, towards the mountains. Then as abruptly as it appeared, it just vanished. Into the air. I was 10 miles south of Fortuna California, and I am not sure how high the craft was flying or how far ahead of me it was, as there was nothing to compare it too size wise.

I must add, being a small community that is relatively isolated, we only have three main roads in and out, and our small airport only handles a few flights a day, and they are all United, small airplanes, along with the coast guard crafts. They fly over my property so I am extremely familiar with the type of aircraft that are normally seen in this area. This craft was definitely wingless, tailless, windowless, silent(as far as I could tell) and as white as a cloud. Small United Jets are Dark Grey and Blue, very identifiable, and pretty loud. The coast guards crafts are all very loud, large, and orange/red. I am 100% sure that whatever I saw was not either of them.

The lingering thought/feeling I have is. That sighting had to have been on purpose. One would have to assume that if you are capable of flying a craft over the distances required to reach another life containing planet, you aren't going to accidentally spill your soda on the cloaking device in the control room, and accidentally make yourself visible. It wanted to be seen by someone, for some reason. I can't and won't guess as to why, but if you are chosen to go on an interstellar mission, I imagine that you would be one of the very best and brightest that the civilization had to offer. I know we wouldn't be sending Bubba from the trailer park to another planet as part of a NASA flight crew, so why would they. This had to be intentional.

white disc/cigar shaped craft My brother and I were outside on our property watching the sun go down, over the Pacific ocean, and we noticed a jet flying at a high altitude over us. We watched the contrail behind it disappearing, because with the sunset it made it look very unique.

Behind this jet there was another in the distance, flying at approximately the same speed and altitude, also leaving a nice contrail. There was a couple of minutes distance between the two jets, but then their was a bright flash, between the two jets of a third craft, whose direction was intersecting their flight paths. The jets were flying East from somewhere over the ocean and had flown by our airport, so it is unclear where they were going. The other craft shone this bright white flash (then it was obviously white, oblonged disc/cigar shaped) as it intersected(approximately) the path that the jets were going, it was flying north and south.

My brother and I both saw this, but I pointed it out first, then as soon as he saw it, my vision was overcome with spots. I was unable to see anything but these spots for nearly 10 seconds, the best I can describe them would be clear, but all encompassing. Like what it looks like when mosquitoes are dancing on the top of the water. Then I was unable to see the craft anymore. No more than 2 seconds after this happened to me, my brother said "oh man, i lost it. I just see spots." He got hit with the same spots as I and that was the end of the sighting. It happened so fast I wasn't able to say anything to him before he said it to me. He thinks that it was some kind of cloaking, but I prefer not to guess. I have no clue, so guessing doesn't do any good.

I consider myself to be level headed, calm, and rational. I have never had any experiences like this before, although I have always believed in extra-terrestrial life. It is egotistical, in my opinion, to believe that there isn't more advanced civilizations spread throughout the vastness of space, let alone to believe that we here are on Earth are all the life there is anywhere. That is aside from the point. The point is that I don't just believe everything that people say, and if I wouldn't have had two separate sightings, one with my brother, who I trust wholly, I wouldn't have reported the first sighting. Now I am compelled to report them. However, I don't think I will be talking about this to other people at this time.

My eyes will be towards the skies from now on though.

Gigantic Red Ball of light at a very high altitude that vanished.

For about 60 seconds I noticed there was a Gigantic Red Ball of light at a very high altitude. It moved at what looked like a steady pace (unlike a meteorite, or fireworks) from the time I noticed it until I looked away. When I looked back again it was gone.

This was inconsistent with its speed and trajectory. So either it went totally light discipline, sped away, or vanished completely.

As, I could not locate it anywhere in the sky.

Driving at night near the Northern California Coast - six orange orbs in the sky

Witness one - I was in the passenger seat of a car when I saw six orange orbs in the sky. They appeared to be floating slowly. Before the driver could pull over, four appeared to get further away (into space) and changed their color to blue, looking like any other star in the sky.

Witness two - I was driving when witness one alerted me to the orange lights in the sky. By the time I was able to safely pull over and look, only two lights remained. The seemed to be moving slowly or they were a far distance away. One seemed to grow bigger as it got "closer." Suddenly one disappeared (like the other four), then one reappeared shortly after quite far from where the other disappeared. The remaining orb of the first two looked as if it was disappearing, but then it just changed to a bluish color that matched the night sky and made it look like a star. The other orb moved slowly and then shortly disappeared after the other one.

unusual orange bright light over eureka, california

around 935-940 pm walking home from downtown eureka heading north when i saw a bright orange light acending the light did not blink or have the usual airplane sounds thats when i started to think it was unusual, the bright ornge light stopped and stayed in one spot thats when i saw a small group of lights just below it. it acended further up and stopped. it stayed bright for a few minutes then faded into an ornge dot and then nothing.people stopped and got out of there cars and asked people on the streets if they saw it, people on the street saw it too, one said he saw something drop from the ornge light. i didnt see anything drop. im a little shakin up, my spelling is off sorry.

Yellowish orange oval south of Eureka, California, on December 5 at 6:30 am December 6 at 6 pm

Have seen the same UFO yesterday morning at about 6:30 am and then again at about 6 pm this evening. Bright glowing yellowish oval, then turned dark with a singular small red light. Did this several times all while moving very slowly. It was located looking to the south-southwest of Eureka. Was seen in the same area both times.

My girlfriend saw this UFO first early in the morning while out on the back porch of our house, she woke me out of bed and I observed this object with her, the second time, the same thing happenned and she told me to come quick, with an alerted tone in her voice. Both times I grabbed the binoculars, after seeing this object, I saw anything from a triangle shaped light, to an oval, with the bright lights varying in hue from green, to yellow or orange. Then it would go totally dark and a single dim red light, but a faint large outline of a object could be seen.

Turquoise Light in the sky

I was on my way to work. I was on a back road, Hyde RD in Eureka, MI at 12:10 AM. I looked to my left and in the sky I saw a Turquoise light going very slow over the field.

About 2 minutes later it darted about 100 feet and then there was a small flash of white light in the sky for 3 seconds. It was gone.

I was working in the Sage-Steppe desert for four months, on a wildlife study. Our base camp was about half way between Eureka and Carlin Nevada on Rte 278. Middle of nowhere. I had the evening off, and decided to start a camp fire shortly after dark. I had just opened a beer and was playing my guitar when the red lights showed up.

Before I start my description I have to say that my recollection of this sighting is hazy, it happened over a year ago, and even a few days later I could not remember details. What I remember is a very low pitched, quiet hum. That is what go my attention. I looked behind me, and two glowing red lights were hovering near by. I set down my guitar and stood up, walking toward the lights to see better. I noticed another set behind them. I could not see the outline of any object, only the lights, but the way they were moving, it seemed that they were connected. They were moving strangely, as if the objects were long and flat and turning from a horizontal position to a vertical position. It took me a minute to realize the red lights were connected and the object was enormous.

At some point one set of lights came close, or at least it seemed close due to the scale of the object. I would say it was at least 50 meters in diameter. I do not remember the object leaving. That is the strangest part.

I was sitting at the campfire, and was not going to tell any of my coworkers (they were small minded) when they came back from the field. One of my co-workers, who I had a good rapport with came to the fire and stood there with me for a few minutes before saying "I just saw a ufo". I nearly pissed I was so excited.

He described red lights, but in a different, more stereotypical "ufo"; configuration. More like spinning red lights.

Large, bright light moving over Samoa Beach, then disappearing...

My wife and I had gone to the beach, as it was an unusually warm evening for mid-March. The sky was absolutely clear, with a sliver of a Moon that looked like a big smile, and tons of visible stars. I had spotted a satellite moving directly overhead moving from south to north, and we watched it until we couldn’t see it anymore. Just then, my wife says, “Look , there’s another one!”, and points due west. I turned to look, and I saw a very, very bright white light moving from the west toward the east. The light had a blue tint to it, kind of like an LED light bulb is, as opposed to an incandescent bulb which is much more yellow.

When I first turned and saw the light, it was at around 45 to 50 degrees, moving fairly quickly west to east in a straight line, it’s path just south of us. If I held an aspirin tablet between my fingers at arm’s length, that would be slightly larger, but reasonably comparable to the size of the light. It was by far the brightest thing in the sky. As the light moved to about 85 degrees, almost directly overhead, it never deviated in intensity, flashed, or seemed directional in any way, like the headlight of a low flying airplane would. It then began to move in a wide arc toward the southeast. As it did, it began to slowly dim, until it was the size and intensity of any random star in the sky. In fact, it now actually did look like a satellite, except for the fact that it was turning toward the southeast. We watched it for another few seconds, and then it just winked out.

My wife and I were discussing what we had just seen, still facing the direction we had last seen it. I was excited, as I have witnessed the same type of light on two other occasions from my backyard (which, incidentally, faces due west), but I was always alone without any other witnesses. As we were talking, there was a sudden bright flash of light, similar to a camera flash, at about 45 degrees, just a bit east of where we saw the light blink out, maybe 15 - 20 seconds before. We both looked up and saw what appeared to be 2 satellite sized lights moving SE to NW in a path that would go directly over our heads. They were moving parallel to each other, although one was moving slower. As we watched, the slower one started to “pulse”. It was going from looking like a satellite, to slowly dimming until it was completely dark, and then slowly brightening back to looking like a satellite again. I then realized that the faster of the two actually was a satellite, as it continued ! across the sky in a straight line at the same speed. The “pulsing” light now started moving in a more northerly direction rather than northwesterly as it had been. It began moving slower and slower until it eventually stopped, hanging at about 55 -60 degrees in the eastern sky, doing it’s pulsating thing. As I turned back toward the northwest to see if the other satellite (which by now had passed by us) was still acting like a satellite (which it was), we noticed a small plane flying directly toward us at around 700 ft headed toward a small landing strip a mile or so down the road. I immediately looked back to the “pulsing” light. It grew dim and bright a few more times, then it stayed steadily bright, and looked like an ordinary star.

The plane served as a comparison to the original light we saw come from the west. First, the plane’s headlight was very yellow in color and much dimmer. It also had obvious green and red flashing lights, and it was loud; very easily heard over the breaking of the waves, whereas the mystery light was completely silent. Also, the plane’s presence gave me a sense of how high the light was. I guesstimated the plane to be at about 500 - 700 ft and descending, which made me feel like the first time we saw the light, it was about twice that height. The second time, it looked as high as the other satellite, even though it was only 15 - 20 seconds later. My wife told me that when she first saw the light and said, “Look, there’s another one”, it was the size of a satellite, and in a fraction of a second, it was super bright and huge, which is right when I saw it the first time.

After the plane flew by, the light, which was now stationary, and looked like an ordinary star, faded out and we didn’t see it again. I also wanted to say that during the first part of the sighting, my wife had a feeling of dread, and had started to cry. She kept saying, “I don’t like it.” over and over. I, on the other hand, was excited, and was extremely happy to have a witness with me.

I was driving in my city of Eureka when I looked up into the sky and in the near distance saw an orange light. At first I thought it was a bright star, but it was much bigger (closer) and couldn't have been. It seemed to be moving further away when all of a sudden 2 smaller orange lights came from under it, like teardrops, one, and then the other right behind it. The object did this again a minute later, dropping two "teardrop lights" from it. I've never seen anything quite like it, and there were other witnesses. The object ended up floating into the distance beyond sight. I don't know what this is, and would like some feedback if anyone does know what I might have seen.

I am missing one hour of time.

I reported a triangular shaped object with lights that went from bright to dim to diminishing and relocating around the craft. A very large craft. It happened during a lightning storm. That was nearly 3 years ago. Since then I have not made any reports or seen any other objects. Although I have had a experience on 9/15/2008 at exactly 0533 hours. I set my alarm and woke at 0445 hours. I showered then packed my bags for a long work trip to Oregon. I noticed the time after I got out of the shower and it was 2 minutes after 0500. I loaded the vehicle and finished making my morning diet drink and went to the car to leave. What happened next was very weird. It was 0633 in the morning. I got very angry that I was late and made several calls on my cell phone immediately to make sure it was really 0633 the time on the cars clock. It really was 0633. It took me several 11 days to figure this all out. I got home from my work trip and went to my alarm clock to see the time on it (battery Operated) It was on time exactly and the alarm was set to 0445. I don't remember walking to the vehicle that morning to leave only that I was looking at the clock and feeling angry that my alarm clock had let me down. It never has in the past. I am missing one hour of time. I was alone.

Flashing red lights performing in an unusual manner.

Flashing red lights like airplane lights. Two lights appeared in north north west about a hand width apart at arms lenght. They traveled about 10 degrees across sky until they met, then disappeared. Two more flashing red lights then appeared travelling east about a hand width apart.

They then met after moving about 10 degrees, then disappeared.

Then two more flashing red lights similarly to the west of where the last two disappeared. They too moved about 10 degrees, met and disappeared.

Could be airplanes, but an awful lot of them in a normally quiet area and acting very strange. They appeared to be 20 to 50 miles away and somewhat lower than airliners fly.

I am a 69 year old retired builder-mechanic.

Single silent V-shaped ufo seen in southern sky over Eureka, Ca. at about 8pm on Jan. 20, 2007.

Between 8 and 8:30 pm on Sunday Jan. 20, 2007 I was standing on the deck at the south side of my house in Eureka, Ca, looking south into the night sky. What I first thought was an airplane or helicopter moving slowly north for about 15 to 20 seconds then began to change direction more to the north east. I thought, it must be correcting for landing an Arcata/Eureka airport in McKinleyville. It traveled on its new course for about 10 more seconds then seemed to change course again and head south. As it moved away, the lights got dimmer and flickered like a cloud was crossing in front of the object, and then the lights went out completely. 1 or 2 seconds later, I saw a grey wedge-shaped object flying with its right edge downward, west towards the ocean. It looked much larger than a plane, but was not making any noise and no longer had any lights on it. I waited for a loud noise of a crash when I lost sight of it behind the tree line but didn’t hear anything.

What caused me to report it was that it didn’t seem like it should be able to travel across the sky on edge. (No lift…?)

Lights in a fixed position and altitude for at least one minute and then departure was slow in a southwest direction

Very large and at an altitude of 1500 to 2000 feet vertically above. Three lights to begin with. One light on one side and one light on an opposite side. Each light would pulsate and change colors but did not change distance. A third light would somewhat appear in between the other lights but would fade in and out at times and would not be a constant or timed light. The light would move at a very slow speed in a southwesterly direction and would slow pulse and change colors. A very dim out line of the object seemed to make a "V". There was no noise at all. The lights were directly over our house. Once they started a move in a southwesterly direction the speed and intensity of the lights seemed to increase and before the object made a departure the lights came together and then went apart to the distance it originally started at and then the departure was white light and then it very swiftly left heading west and climbing in altitude.

Small black spherical object observed in the eastern horizon at about 30 degrees

I was sitting on my porch facing east at 10:38a.m. to catch some rays when I noticed at about a 30 degree angle on the horizon a small black spherical object just suspended in the air completely motionless. The sky was completely clear except for a couple very smeall, very thin, barely visible clouds and there was not even a hint of a breeze out. At first I thought it was a bird - the kind that can flap their wings fast enough to just remain relatively motionless, which I have observed on several other occasions - but then I saw a crow fly directly in front of it and it just remained totally motionless although it did seem to be quite a distance off behind the crow but still I didn't notice any kind of movement whatsoever from the object for quite some time, probably a good 2 to 3 minutes or so. Then I thought it was a kite but then rejected that thought immediately since there was absolutely no wind or even so much as a hint of a breeze. Then I thought that it was a baloon of some sort but couldn't justify why it would just sit there completely motionless for such a long time - at least 2 to 3 minutes. I went in to get my digital camera and it was still there when I got back but unfortunately the batteries in the camera needed recharging so I wasn't able to get any footage of it. The object slowly & deliberately moved down and to the south behind some trees & out of sight.

Orange light cruises Humboldt Bay

We were in west Eureka (Near Fort Humboldt) exiting our vehicle at the house. I happened to look up and see a bright orange light in the sky moving north parallel to the coastline and bay. At first I thought it was a plane with its landing lights on except the color was a bright orange and the light was moving slowly. Eureka is often covered by a cloud deck as it was that day and I estimate it to have been about 800- 1000 (Thousand) feet above the ground. There were also patchier clouds approximately 400-600 feet above the ground though far fewer. The light was below the 800-1000 foot cloud deck, but above the 400-600 foot cloud deck. As the light moved behind the lower clouds it would become obscured momentarily. I spent probably at least five minutes just watching it from the street. By now my curiosity was raised so I went to the back yard to get a better look. It continued this path for another couple minutes. It then made a logical arcing turn westward where it began to increase velocity away from my position. The intensity of the light dissipated and it eventually disappeared.

The most similar thing you could compare it to is a helicopter with a spotlight, however their was no noise, and I tried very hard to hear anything. The light remained constant and could be compared to a flare, but it did not descend in elevation. It could have been a mylar balloon caught in different air currents, except it was emanating light (And was under the cloud deck) and was accelerating slowly. All that was visible was a orange light.

I have not seen anything like it before or after. And its been a couple years since this sighting but I remember it well and it was witnessed by one other person that I know of, and others must have seen it as well. Very interesting, love to know if others have seen something similar.

I witnessed an elongated, triangular aircraft moving at a very slow speed approximately trenty feet above the Redwood trees.

On the night of September 17, 2004 at approximately 11:30pm, as I was driving home, I witnessed an elongated, triangular aircraft that was traveling the opposite direction. It was continuously moving a very slow speed, approximately twenty feet above the Redwood trees. I made a u-turn and followed it at about thirty mph in my car, for almost two miles as it flew slowly northward in a straight path. There were cars behind me so I pulled to the curb and I watched it for a couple of minutes to see what it would do next. It continued northward for about two minutes, then made a gradual turn and headed south, in the same path and manner as it had previously gone. I rolled down my window so I could hear what kind of sound the aircraft had, which was only a low humming motor sound. I turned and followed it in my car for about three more minutes, when it disappeared from my sight over the trees. I could only see the bottom of the aircraft because it was traveling so low and the top was not illuminated. What I saw looked like it was made of galvanized steel, with a ridge from front to back on each side. The bottom was flat and there was a red light on each of its three points. There was a green light on the right front side near the red light in the front. The green light only flashed twice when the craft was headed north and I couldn't see the green light when it was headed south. The red lights gradually faded, but never went completely off, then got bright again, about every two seconds.

The movement of the craft did not seem forced. Drifiting opposed to flying>>>>

obeserved hovering or (drifiting) approx 500 yards away from repoting source(me).

Was triangular in shape. 4 feet thick and 6-12 feet wide. No lights observed. Could not hear any noise emmiting from the craft. Appeared to made of metal. I personally have never witnessed anything of this sort before. But will admit I am sorf of a UFO buff.

I was swimming with my son in our pool alittle after noon yesterday when I noticed a round black object just below cloud level, it was in the southern sky flying North. It was flying at a very fast pace, no way it could have been a plane. It was out of my sight in about 25 seconds. My son was very excited about this, my wife thinks we lost our minds.

Bright, strobing light, dimmed to a pulsing amber light. Then smaller lights witnessed moving erratically around larger light.

On the evening of December 18, 2003 I saw a bright flashing light in the southeastern sky. The light was a very brilliant white, with an aparent magnitude of -5, that seemed to strobe about twice a second. After strobing for about eight seconds the light dimmed to amber color, with an aparent magnitude of -2.9. The amber object had a bit of haze around it. Then the amber object appeared to move eastward. I then saw a much smaller light that seemed to move around in an eccentric patttern beneath the first object. The smaller object proceeded to drop earthward and faded from view about halfway to the horizon. As the larger, amber object continued to move eastward, another small amber light appeared beneath the larger one and moved about much like the first smaller light. The large amber object continued to move slowly eastward for a minute or two and then appeared to fade out. The incident occured within my sight for at least five minutes. I observed the phenomenon with the aid of binoculars as well. There are currently some photos of the lights seen over Eureka, Ca., taken by another observer, posted on the website of a local radio station -- www.((URL deleted--photo removed from website)).com. Very large dancing fireball, 35-40 degrees above NE horizon, with additional small fiery lights emerging and descending toward horizon

On Wednesday, December 17th, at around 7:45pm. What looked like a large ball of fire (10x the size of largest nearby star), pulsating from red to orange, danced like a firefly 34-40 degrees above the NE horizon for 2-3 minutes. Then the object stopped flashing red-orange, turned solid reddish-orange and remained somewhat stationary for another maybe 2 minutes, during which time much smaller (small-star-sized) red-orange object(s) appeared from within and below the large fiery object and proceeded to approach the horizon, forming a completely vertical dotted line of small fiery lights extending from the larger object. As the line of smaller lights proceeded towards the horizon, the distance between the smaller fiery lights and the larger original object grew greater until the smaller objects were within a couple of degrees from the horizon and then disappeared one by one. The large fireball remained stationary for about another minute after the smaller ones disappeared, then it began flashing red-orange and started dancing again, still in the same location. Then the light dimmed and the object danced off to the north, remaining 35-40 degrees above the horizon. It traveled in this manner for 45 seconds or so, through a distance of air space that usually takes a satellite 3-4 times longer to pass through, and then it just disappeared.

I was sitting in my bedroom listening to my shortwave radio when the neighbors started yelling for me to get outside.I forget the exact date, it has been a long month for me. It was during the fist part of the month and about in the middle of the week.Upon going outside the kids said there was a dragoon in the sky,(their native americans) anyway I looked up and sure as shit there were several silver disc shaped things in the air. It was a very bright afternoon and the sun reflected off of them and they were silver.They formed some weird shape in a formation like pattern.The kids said it looked like a dragon.I did not put it together.We watched these things almost to the point of like they were supposed to be there.Accepted , is the only thing that comes to mind. One of them came over us and just stayed there and it looked like flames were shooting out to the west of the craft and these things were oriented to the South.Our eyes began to see dots from staring at them for so long we had to quit looking and take a eye break. I did not have any portable optics to enhance the viewing so we were screwed from a detailed look.Finally the one that hovered over slowly backed up until it was gone.My 73 yo mom even saw the one shoot flames out the side.And the others simply vanished from view before we even noticed. We watched for about a half an hour.I or anyone else was scared it was almost likethey belonged there some how, I don't know. This was during the start up phase of the war in Iraq that is why I was listening to my shortwave radio.Sorry about the date no body can remember the exact day or date.

There were bright orange star-sized lights in the sky way above the horizon. The both were stationary at first one on the left higher than the one on the right. Two bright solid orange lights , slow moving, bright flickering light before vanishing.

Last evening upon parking in front of my house, I noticed two orange lights to the east. At first I thought Fire/Coast Guard hellicopters, as there is a C.G. Base near here and we did have a large grass fire by the bay North of here. After watching maybe one minute or so I ran and called my wife to the front of our house. At this time we saw two orange lights heading Northeast of our house. They seemed to have been fairly low moving like a C.G.Hellicopter would. They were not making any sound nor were any lights flashing. After about two minutes they stopped in flight. They were motionless for another two minutes or so and my wife went to call our daughter and son-in-law who live about ten blocks from us. When she returned with phone in hand and son-in-law on the other end, we all watched the light on the left move to the North at about the same speed as before. The one on the right never moved again. After 4-5minutes the one on the right started flickering brightly and then was gone. Our son-in-law said he saw something drop from it before it's light was gone. The one to the North was visible for another 2-3 minutes and it's light flickered and it was gone too.

I was coming out to my truck around 10:45...it was close to storming so this made me unsure if this event was lightning or not...but then after hearing some of the recent events I thought I'd let you know...there was a huge flash of light, and the sky seemed to light up as bright as day so I turned to see what had just happened and as I turned I saw up in the eastern sky what looked like about 5 fireballs in a horizontally stacked formation that at the moment I thought they resembled what looked like sperm swimming a short distance across the sky....they were bright white and the color of the sky around them was bluish/purple....the horizontal direction and quanity is what really made me question the lightning theory...not sure if this was natural or not.

UFO came over house where my girlfriend and sister were. It was bright orange. It stayed, then left, and they saw it explode far up in the sky.

Last night my girlfriend saw a UFO. We live in far Northern California, Humboldt County. She was at her sister's in the yard at 10:30 p.m. They were unloading fruit from the truck. She saw something come from the north. Then it came right over them, rather close like a helicopter. At first she thought it was the police, but then thought that didn't make sense, because there was no reason for the police to come. But she also noticed there was NO sound. Also, it was bright orange. It stayed over them for awhile, then suddenly turned left and took off. She knew no plane could do that. When it started spinning and took off, she said there were many different colored lights around it. It went to the left and went, but then she said something happened. Suddenly it exploded, and she described the pieces falling like pieces of a falling star. She was very frightened from the experience. She speaks Spanish mostly, but fairly good English. I know her very well, and she and her family are very wonderful and reliable people. Her husband didn't want her to say anything because he said people would think they were crazy. She and her sister both saw it happen. They know me real well (as I run a very large Neighborhood Watch) and asked me to look into who they could report it to, or if anything like that was reported by anyone else. (Also, she happens to be pregnant, which concerns me, because I study the subject of UFO's a bit.I am familiar with alien abductions, fetuses, etc. Of course I would not discuss that subject with her. Just want to give you the details.) Anyway, I don't know who to contact about this. We'd like to find out if there were other reports, but living in a seme-small town, the police department is closed Saturday, and we don't know anywhere to call. My friend saw a UFO in the sky at night. It came towards them and stayed above them for awhile. Then it took off, and seemed to explode.



Last night a girlfriend of mine, saw an unidentified object in the sky. We'll call her Lucia (she wishes to remain anonymous). Lucia was driving to her sister's about 10:00 p.m. Her sister lives in a trailer park. When Lucia turned into the driveway of the park, there was a very bright beam of light coming from an object that was located ahead of her (north). It was low in the sky and the beam of light shone at a slight degree just above her. She was startled at the light and the object. So she turned left into the trailer park and parked in front of her sister's house. She was frightened and honked her horn so her sister would come out. Lucia's sister, and her sister's boyfriend came out of the house. At that point, looking to the north, the object no longer had a beam of light coming from it, but it came over the trees and then stayed stationary right over the house. It was very hard for me to determine how large the object appeared to them, as Lucia speaks limited English and her sister only speaks Spanish, however an enterpretor was there. Lucia's sister said when she came out of the house, it was about 10:15 p.m. The three speculated as to what the object could be. When she first observed it while driving, Lucia thought it was a helicopter, but after seeing it out of the car, it did not appear to be a helicoper. It appeared to be a large orange-like object. Lucia also noted and said to the others that it made no noise. They all agreed it was not an airplane, as it was stationary in the air above them. They were all frightened. Then after about 10-15 minutes, the object started whirling...spinning, and three lights appeared when that happened. The lights were different colors. When that happened the object immediately headed eastbound, but still at a lower altitude. Suddenly, Lucia said they saw what appeared to be an explosion...like two pieces (like falling stars they said), falling down from the object. At that it disappeared. They thought it exploded, which accounted for why they couldn't see it anymore. They said it did look like an explosion. When they came back into the house, it was about 10:30p.m. The thing I was most concerned with is the fact that Lucia is pregnant. Knowing what I have researched about alien abductions, I am concerned (however, did not tell her that). As we were all talking today about the incident, I asked if anything strange or unusual ever happened to them. Lucia's sister said there have been many UFO's seen in Mexico. Lucia's sister said when she was 14 yrs. old she lived in Colima, Mexico. At about 10:30 p.m. she went outside to use the outhouse. She found herself back in her home at about 3:00 a.m. She didn't know what had happened to her and mentioned it to her mother. She emphasized to me, while telling me the story, that she was extrememly nervous and upset after the episode of missing time. Anyway, her mother said she was imagining things, that she was crazy, and not to talk about it. Still, later in years, when she was about 3 months pregnant with her child (now 10), she was living in Santa Ana, California, in a house that was not well lit by the sun. One day a very bright light shone through the windows, and she collapsed on the bed. She awoke sometime later, and had some marks on her body. Her husband thought they were "hickeys" from another man. As Lucia said, it was the main reason her sister's marriage broke up. Today Lucia's sister she said she was very disturbed about what she saw last night. She said it brought back those memories of what I just stated happened to her. She is very nervous now and wishes she never saw the object, because she is afraid. Her boyfriend would not speak about it. Lucia said he is scared. Lucia and her sister said, that once you see an object like that, you will surely see it again, and they are both afraid.

it was a dark fogy morning,and I had just goten up for work opened the shades and there about one half mile away were two red triangular shaped objects with a blue haze around them, they moved quite slow tords the west then stoped in the air for about nine or ten minutes then shot at a 90 degree angle strait up into the clouds, they left an orange trail behind. I live up in the foot hills tords the east of Eureka.

Looking out window of house and saw a massive object descending in a straight path to earth near the horizon in the far distance.

Outside the window of my apartment, I sighted at 07:15, 12-9-98, a bright, shimmering, orange colored massive object(1)descending at a moderately fast controlled rate on a straight path to earth. Hard to judge size and speed because of distance (about 100-150 miles south of Humboldt County California) but very massive size moving at a high speed judging from distance. Sighted near horizon just above tree line south. Looked like a planet or very large star (about 8 stars together) at first but with binoculars sighted a tear drop shape("U") with hole in center descending at the speed that of a jet plane would in the distance or even faster. Before sighting, there were 5 jet planes going towards the location where the object was descending which directed my attention to that area. There were 2 more jets following the other five after I sighted the object (7 jets all together going on same route towards object within 10 min.) Object disappeared behind tree line and so did 5 jets except for the 2 which were still visible but then dissapeared behind tree line also. The sun was not quite over the hills yet, but the 7 jet streams were all pink and the sky was very clear with no clouds. The temperature was about 45 degrees F. outside. The moon was in its last quarter stage but nowhere close to the horizon. I was wide awake and had been up for about an hour and had a very restful sleep. Five minutes after the object disappeared, 2 jets were still visible and I had to leave for a class at 08:00. I am a Senior at Humboldt State University majoring in art. I was born in Texas and served in the U.S. army for 5 years. I am married, 30 years old, caucasion, 130 lbs. and very skeptical of everything. I am well educated in many areas and self-taught in many subjects. I have never seen anything like this before but heard many things about this subject and always found the stories hard to believe. large slow moving triange-shaped aircraft flies over Eureka California... 1997

at about 10 0'clock on a weekday night (I can't remmember exactly what day it was, becuse it was a few years ago) I saw a triangle craft that appeared to be anywhere from 50ft to 200ft in length (I couldn't be sure, I have no experience with determining aircraft length), on the bottem side, it had three ultra-bright lights down the center from front to aft... two red lights on the left side, (one was pulsating), one green light on the right side... On the Aft side, it had what appeared to be two very large engines which glowed orange, but had no afterburn/flames/variation in intensity... the object made no noise that I was aware of, and had no wings/rudder/rotar blades/elevator/landing gear/windows/antenie/flaps/markings of any kind/etc... the object was moving slowly in a south-east direction, and took about 5 mins to disapear over the horrizon. In addition to the craft discribed above, I witnessed several red blinking lights just above the horrizon in all directions... I would estimate about 12 red lights... however, there is not very much air traffic in my town.

3 minute picture

Saw the object which looked much as a bright star about two hour before sun set. How ever the object keep changing directions. And after 15 or 20 minutes we lost it. Again at 10:00 pm we saw it again. This is when I took the picture. You can see a top of a tree and the milkeway in the background. The picture is about three minutes exspossure and starts on the left and heads to the right. I like how you can see the ufo starts slow with the thicker line of light as it pickes up speed the light line gets smaller then you see it as stoppes and changes dirctions. We didn't see all of this with the naked eye the ufo seemed to go the same speed all the time.

She called at 2307 hrs. on 09FE96 and left a message. I called back at 1457 on 11FE96.

The caller noticed a friend/neighbor standing in the street looking up. She looked up and witnessed four lights very close together, with three more behind them, then three more still behind the first two groups.

The formation stretched across approximately one third the distance from horizon to horizon!! They appeared to stop, start moving again, then speed up again in erratic fashions.

He friend noted that the flashing lights were "wavering." It appeared to both the observers that there were three lights on each "vehicle," one quite bright, and two "weaker" ones.

The formation passed directly above their heads, at which point three "objects" formed a triangle, and "three of them in back lagged off." No sound was detectable.

After the objects had disappeared from sight, the observers heard an aircraft sound coming from behind them. It turned out to be a commercial jet aircraft, which appeared to be moving very slowly, relative to the (angular) velocity of the peculiar objects they had just witnessed.

She received our telephone number from the Eureka Police.

Extra star in the Dig Dipper flew over the mountains North.

I was lying in bed watching the sky out of a large picture window facing North. I was looking for the Big Dipper. Part of it was hidden by the roof line, I thought. Some thing looked wrong with it. I realized it had an extra star in it. About the time I figured it out the extra star started across the sky North and disappeared over the mountains. It traveled at a steady rate of speed slowly enough that I was able to watch it for maybe 20 seconds after it started to move. The craft looked just the same as the other stars in the Big Dipper. Yellow like a light or a star on a clear night. There was no light pollution and no Northern lights that night. I was so shocked I couldn't sleep and I don't think anybody ever really believed it. It didn't wobble like a sat- ellite or have a tail. I probably watched it 15 or 20 minutes before it went out of sight. No sound.

This was a long time ago but clear as day. Everyone on the highway pulled over to watch this thing. Probably a hundred people from all the cars i saw. I was a slow moving huge shape with lights i was dark so exact shape was blurred, but it looked like a triangle shape seashell in my mind. It appeared all of a sudden right above the highway. Everyone pulled over and watched it. After a long time (8 minutes?) it accelerated incredibly fast and disappeared to the south. This was between 1980 to 1984.

Rode the schoolbus with friend Joel to his house after school. When we stepped off the bus, we saw a shining craft in the sky, an elongated cigar-shaped craft with no wings or contrail or anything. It was flying in strange way, going up and down like a sine wave or something, straight ahead the whole time but in an up-and-down way, like it was riding on waves or like when you skip a rock across a river or something. We could tell that it wasn't a regular airplane. Joel ran into his house to get his mom and her camera, but by the time they got back out there the craft had flown off past a bunch of trees and houses and we just weren't able to see it any more. We went in their house and called the local airport to see if they had any unusual airplanes in the area or something but the guy who answered said no, asked us where we seeing it from and acted nervous and hung up pretty quickly. Which seemed odd.

In an incident similar to others around this date, a ball of light flashed down at our car then veered away.

After the terrible Skyway accident at Six Flags Over Mid-America where a gondola fell off the line and killed two people and injured one, they closed the park and everyone starting leaving the parking lot. The weather turned bad quickly as huge dark clouds rolled in and covered the sky like something out of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

We were listening to the radio, stuck in traffic leaving the park, when the news at the top of the hour reported that police officers had pursued an object in the sky (nearby where we were) that they described as "big as a house." This spurred my mother to mention that she had just seen a ball of light in the sky. She said it streaked down at us then veered away. She dismissed it as balled lightning (which she had never seen, it just sounded logical.)

At the time, I thought all of these incidents were very strange, so I filed them away in my memory.

Recently, I was looking at a Six Flags website which mentioned the incident, so with the date in hand, I checked some UFO databases. I found the incidents listed on this website and thought I should add our report to it.

silver globe spotted over humboldt bay

The Coast Guard had their helicopter up and hovering, it brought me out back. I live just off the 101 and have nothing in between my home and the ocean. The chopper noise brought me outside, I saw a silver "globe" fly through the air, it moved like something out of a video game before leaving my view. I'm not really sure what brought my eye to it but like I said the way it moved through the air was different then anything I've ever seen.
