Three huge orbs in a V formation above the hilltop in California

My boyfriend and I went for a night hike like we normally do on Fire trail in Castro Valley and when we got to the piece we noticed a large bright orange circle in the sky it was above the hilltop and the planes flying in were so very little compared to this orb we can to ponder what it was and suddenly there was three they hovered in a V formation they change colors very rapidly they pull stated they were very bright they were much much larger than any aircraft flying into the airports and you can clearly see that in the videos day at one point blue and absorbed one another and then came back out of each other and flew around each other and they stayed there pretty much the whole time we were walking about 25 to 30 minutes we immediately when we noticed that there was more than one and that it definitely wasn't a plane we took out our phones and tried to document anything that we could and the distance from us to the crafts I believe is over 10 miles so they were quite large

Pictures taken of a hovering craft through a telescope

While setting up for a night of astrophotography I noticed a shining object in the southwest sky. I slewed my Meade 8 inch SCT w/9mm eyepiece inserted to the object and witnessed a stationary white egg shaped object. I watched the object for about 20 min or so. I had my iPhone available and snapped several shots with my iPhone to the scope eyepiece and produced some of the clearest UAP pictures I have seen. The case was reported to MUFON who responded that the case worker was no longer with MUFON and the case was never reassigned. I do have their response email still. But I have been sitting on these photos since 2019 and thought it a good time to reshare the photos.

Object was stationary to little movement and watched the object for around 30 minutes.

Orb in our atmosphere in the 2 o'clock position next to the moon hovering all day long...

I reported this same exact siting about a year ago. The object is at the 2 o'clock position next to the moon. The object is an orb-shaped object that is metallic, reflecting sun light. It is not moving at all. I expect it will remain all afternoon as it has this morning.

My wife and daughter also witnessed it. I can see it with the naked eye but appears to be very high up in our atmosphere.

Tried taking a pic but was not able to get a good quality shot.

Driving to work on I-580, saw a glowing craft moving along the coast of California. It was a bright greenish color, moved extremely fast from horizon to horizon. My guess is it was flying about an altitude of 5000ft.

It flew from one side of the sky to the other side in about 2 seconds, then did a 45 degree turn and took off over the Pacific Ocean.

On Mar. 17, 2016, 22:40 hrs., I observed an object crossing over hwy 580 E near Castro Valley, Ca. This object was flying at the normal speed, relative to an average small airplane or a helicopter, until its appearance above the hwy 580 E and hovered, then moved slowly across the road and went over the Eden Canyon Hills toward the opposite side of the road from north toward south side.

The object turned side way toward the down side of the hill and I noticed this object was a black triangular shape craft about the same size or bigger than a commercial airliner or a military craft KC 130.

This object had a large circular red light in the center with a strobe white light on one corner, and blinking red and blue lights on the different corners.

This sighting was reported to Castro Valley Highway Patrol, and local 911 Emergency Department.

Metallic orb maintaining position to the right of moon

Around 11:30 AM I am on my back deck talking to my wife and scanning the South West sky’s with binoculars when to the right of the moon in the 2 o’clock position I see a metallic orb sitting stationary.

It appear big enough to see with clearly with 7 x 35 binoculars but hard to see with the naked eye. The sun is high which may be causing that.

The sunlight is reflecting off the object like a planet would but this appears to be in our atmosphere as you can see clouds behind it.

I have been watching it for an hour now and it has maintained distance from the moon but is now in the 3 o’clock position.

This is no sound or anything emitting from the object.

I am continuing to watch it with my wife…

I watched the object from my binoculars. It was barely visible by the naked eye.

It was slowly moving from the north down to the south. It took about 15 minutes for it to get directly over my head before I lost it.

My estimate was that it was around 6,000'. It was moving around in a circular (counter clockwise) motion. The object seems to show some color (red/green) in some areas.

At the mid section of the cone was the densest where it extended up to a rounded point. Bottom had a thin straight rod hanging down.

There were no lights on it or sound made by it.

At first I thought it was a funny looking drone but the movement suggested it was not. Then I thought it could be a clump of balloons. I could not rule that out 100%.

The object did not deviate from its trajectory before I lost sight of it.

10 separate red / orange lights - possible UFO - appear and disappear over an approximately 10 minute period.

At approximately 21:20 while waiting outside I happened to look towards the South West (225 degrees on my cell phone compass)and noticed 2 orange-ish red-ish lights in the far distant sky above some local shops. I could not tell how far distant but assumed that they were planes coming into the SF Bay Area from the Pacific Ocean area, but that they were in a position in the sky where passenger planes do not normally appear. I could not even try to guess how far they were apart but using the finger method they appeared to be approximately 1 1/2 fingers apart in the sky.

As I watched, the first one appeared if it was traveling slowly and started to turn to the right and climb higher. It eventually disappeared and I thought that maybe it was a plane that had disappeared into some distant clouds. I watched the remaining visible light and followed the same path and then disappeared in the almost exact same place.

I know absolutely that these are not any known aircraft as every night while I wait for my wife to come home outside I continually watch the skys and watch all kinds of aircraft, both near and extremely far away fly by. You can ALWAYS see their navigational markers flashing but these lights I saw tonight did not blink at all, no red/green/white blinking navigational lights anywhere, just the same steady orange-ish red-ish color.

Approximately 3 or 4 minutes after the first 2 disappeared, 3 more appeared coming from the same direction. These though, when I first saw them appeared to be a brighter red-ish color and then dimmed to the same color as the others. These were also approx 1 1/2 finger apart and followed the same path and disappeared in the same area as the first to. Once all 3 of these disappeared 2 more appeared approximately 3 minutes later and again, followed the same path and disappeared in the same place.

I thought there was a cloud or something in that area and about a minute later I saw a distant plane (with blinking nav lights) fly from my right to the left (approx north to south) in the same area and distance and it was completely visable till it disappeared far to my left and far far south from where those lights disappeared so I know there were no clouds in that area.

At this time it was 9:26 PM and about that time my wife came home from work. Just as she exited her car and was walking up the driveway, one more appeared again, I pointed it out to her and at first she thought it was a plane and I said no, just watch. 2 more appeared and she watched while the first one disappeared in the same area again and then went inside. I waited and saw that the other 2 followed the same route and disappeared in the same place again.

5 to 7 orange lights seen floating low in the sky slowy fade out.

On the night of 10/31/2011 at approximately 7:20pm, from my front yard looking north I observed 5 to 7 floating orange balls of light. I ran inside and grabbed my binoculars to get a better look. All but one light ascended down below my plain of view behind houses and trees. I watched the one remaining light slowly float upward and fade out. The entire event lasted around 5 minutes. Behind some of the lights I could see the ridge of eucalyptus trees above Lake Chabot some 5 miles away and not higher than 1,000 feet in elevation. My mother who was with me also saw the lights, as well as at least 3 trick or treaters who were filling the street in this residential neighborhood this Halloween evening. I could also see a helicopter flying back and forth between my position and the orange lights. It was possibly just a routine traffic reporter over the freeway, but the pilot must have seen the objects. They were a deep orange, darker than air traffic lights that ! are common in the bay area of California with multiple airports nearby. The lights shone like flames. I would place there position to be right above the Lake Chabot area low in the sky possibly the size of cars.

Moving from the west in a south or south east direction - small single white object dimmed and disappeared

At approx 9:20 pm tonight,I was out front on our driveway waiting for my wife to come home from work.

As usual while out front, even though we have a street light in front of the house and there's a lot of light from Castro Valley and the surrounding cities like Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo and Oakland, you can still see most of the brighter stars in the sky - like the Big Dipper, Orion's Belt and some of the Zodiac signs. There's been a couple times over the last several months that I've seen something strange, but I am not about to say it was a UFO - as I was alone with my dog and I know it was not a meteor or a plane. At any given time you can see on an average of about 7 to 8 aircraft at any given time in different parts of the sky around the SF Bay Area, most have just their navigational lights on and a few occasionally have their landing lights on.

Tonight, like before, I was looking up towards the west (approx 264 degrees) and I saw that I thought was a bright star or possibly be a planet, then I looked down and saw my wife's car coming down the street and turn and start to park out on the street.

While she was doing this I returned and looked to the west at this "object" but it wasn't a star, it was small like one of them but it was more of a bright white color and appeared closer than the "normal" stars, and it was moving sorta towards our general direction (which I later determined to be towards the south or south east).

As my wife walked up the drive way I didn't turn to look at her, instead I kept my eye on the object and it was continuing to move - not real real fast, but appeared to be maybe the speed of a plane or a little faster. When she asked what I was staring at, I told her I don't know that that is up there, I told her I didn't see any navigational lights on it and she looked up and with her typical doubt she said it's probably a plane. I was just about to agree when it started to get dimmer, like someone hit a switch and it dimmed real low and you could still see it but there was a definate difference in brightness. I told her look, it's getting dimmer and as we both watched it seemed like it was going up and got dimmer and then totally disappeared. We both looked for about 15 to 20 seconds trying to find it but it was not there - this was at approx 9:25pm. She then said mayby it WAS a UFO.

I know it was NOT a plane, the only plane that I have seen that would do something similar to his is the U2 Spy Plane and Nasa still uses them, I"ve seen them take off numerous times at the old Navy Moffett Field in San Mateo County over the years - saw one not more than mayby 1 month ago.

I know it was NOT a meteor, I've seen hundreds, if not maybe a thousand, over the years in the US, Korea, and Germany, I've seen them do all kinds of different things but they do NOT go up!

Saucer flying low with bright flickering lights.

I was driving east bound on I-580 when I looked to the left, but slightly in front of me, and saw a saucer flying relatively low over the hills. It had several bright lights of all different colors flickering from it. It was way too low and big to be any type of aircraft that I have ever seen.

I continued to drive to my destination (my moms house) and immediately told her to come outside and see it. It was flying very slow, almost like it was floating. My mom, sister, and dad went outside and saw it as it continued to slowly move over the hills east bound.

After about 10 minutes from when I first spotted it, i lost sight of it behind a tree. I then got back in my car to follow the object and as soon as I got to a spot where I should have been able to see it again, it was gone.

I drove around the area for over 20 minutes looking for it and there was no sight of it. At the speed it was traveling and its location, it is virtually impossible for it to have just disappeared.

The object was VERY big, I would compare it to the size of 3 blimps put together. What was most interesting about it was its very obvious saucer-like shape and very bright flickering lights.

I have never seen anything like this before.

circular UFO( bell hat shape ) seen on hwy 580 castro valley, CA 8:10 pm in front of full moon.

Last night was a full moon rising over castro valley east bay, CA, the sky was clear of clouds around the moon, driving up on hwy 580 , as you drive down the 580 from castro valley into livermoore valley was an incredible view. As I was and other cars decending the fwy a (felt hat shaped) circular black silhouette of a craft was seen right in the middle of the moon, it was a beautiful view as it was very clearly outlined, the UFO silhouette was black in front of the moon. It had no blinking lights on it (that is why it didn't look like a plane or a helicopter) it was not blinkin on side wings on sides nor bottom nor front nor roof and was totally black against the backdrop of the moon. It stayed in front of the moon about 3 seconds then took off so fast it disapeared in the night sky.

There was a red triangular spacecraft with black wings on the rear. Observer is 5'8 165 pounds, male, brown hair, green eyes. Observer is disabled and to this date I still see UFO's that are not in the same shape. They look like they are camoflouged in the atmosphere. They look like a cloud soaring and from time to time a little white star that comes out of it that is a craft. I have been seeing this on a daily basis. They are real hard to see. There was no sound and was 35 feet above my head.

The ones I am seeing now are during the day I see little white puppy clouds soaring and a little white star coming out. This is on a daily basis. At night when this is observed, sometimes they are dark colored and sometimes they are light. They are very hard to see.

At 9:00pm April 12th myself ,an my friend saw a fly object in the sky flying in the north/west sky. It was spining it had four lights on it's under side. at one point it was following us. We drove up the stree about three miles out of the city north ,to were we were out of drect light . we could here a humming coming from the air craft.

The next night April 13th we saw a spin blue light in the sky along with the blue one , they didn't look like star's they seemed to be moving .so we took 35mm picture's of these things. We have see many of these flying things alot everynight in the San Francisco Bay Area. You tell us what u think ti is a little dissetaling .

Shiny white object flys silently over our home

My friend and I were standing on our front porch talking, when I noticed a strange WHITE object hovering in the sky over a neighboring town. I ran in the house to get my binoculors, and when I got back it was closer than before. I watched the object for about a minute, making no erratic movements. I got such a good look at the object I made a drawing of the object on the computer, which I will send when I am done writing this.

The object did not glow, but it was shiny, and looked like it was made from some really polished plastic. It made no noise, and it appeared to have some sort of protrusion at the top, but I never got a very good look at that, since it mostly right above me during observation. The object accelerated quite rapidly and was gone in a blink of an eye after that two minutes. My friend got a look at it and he even said it looked like a giant flying egg.

The object was about the size of a small plane, sans wings, in estimation. I've never seen such a shiny object like that before.

Fast moving bright Light leaves contrail

My son and I were driving home from Walgreens Store, when we both saw a light in the sky appear. The light swooped down, leaving behind it a bright contrail, that quickly disappeared. As the light approached us, we saw that it's movement was erratic. It moved in a zig zag pattern, left to right. The light then accelerated and went straight up, leaving another misty-fog like contrail behind it. It never made a sound. My son had jumped out of the car when we first noticed it, as I had stopped the car to watch this event. The object must have been about a mile away.

I have seen other strange objects over the years, and have even reported some sightings on this sight, but this is probably the most significant event I have witnessed to date. the movement, the contrail, the acceleration. All of these were mind blowing.

Object moving across CA sky Jan 4th 2005 7:10PM

As me and my wife were driving down the road. I saw a light moving across the sky, I pointed it out to my wife. She saw it. Said " Big deal, it's a plane." I said, "It has no blinking lights".

We live in the Bay Area and have many planes in the sky. But this didn't look like a plane. It moved in what I think was westerly direction. And reminded of a missle launch from Vandenberg that a saw back in 96 or 97.

So I like to know if anyone else saw it too. I've seen satelites and shooting stars move across the sky; and this was neither. I suspect that it was man-made. If some knows for sure. Please let me know.

Sighting over the hills in Castro Valley

I was outside playing around with my new binoclulars/digital camera combo, and took a few shots of an airplane passing by. After a few seconds of viewing the plane, I noticed a black "dot" in the sky above the plane. It danced around for a minute, and then disappeared. Before it disappeared, I snapped a few shots. Unfortunately the pictures came out pretty poorly, but I did manage to get a shot with plane and the dot in the view. I could see the object more clearly in person than what the photo reveals.

It was perfectly round, and black, and moved in a darting fashion. At first I thought I was watching a balloon, but it moved too fast in too many directions, then zipped off to the south in a split second.

I got one good usable picture, and would love to send it to you. I bought the camera/binoculars due to the high sighting frequency I have been having in this area. This is about the fourth sighting in the month of May for myself and my son. One evening about a week ago, we were awakened to a loud vibrating sound, which thought was an earthquake. When we ran out to the porch, we saw two lighted oval shaped objects steaking across the sky at unbelievable speeds. We also saw a UFO/craft flying over the Army Base in Dublin, CA that appeared to be shaped like an egg and was bright white.

I will keep my eyes on the sky, and tonight I plan to go UFO hunting with my son up in the hills. If I see something, I will report it.

Object travels SLOWLY over Castro Valley, California

An object traveling extremely high but super slow, traveled over our heads last night heading North East. There were no blinking lights, and after it past me the light was just as bright as if it were headed toward me. As it past us, it seemed to stop for a brief moment, then DISAPPEARED.

The object made 0 noise, and had actually at one point made a subtle change in direction, as no aircraft can do.

Shortly after it disappeared, multiple military aircraft flew overhead. I know this because of no commercial airliner would travel side by side at supersonic speeds at roughly 40,000+ feet.

We actually filmed that final 60 or so seconds of this, and if needed we will email this video clip to you.

me and our hillbily friends were stittin in the back yard listinen to sum music when boom all of a sudden a huge fukin thing came out of the trees. it landed on my dog and seemed as if the beams barly struck it and poof gone. we fukin ran like bitches and screamed like hoes. we ran threw the screen door and it broke off. the space ship from outter space chased us for 2 hours. it broke up the wholke fukin house.

I was driving from San Leandro to San Ramon took 580 to Crow Canyon Rd. I was stunned by a hovering shape in the sky.It was hard to make out the shape but it was circular with a spinning red light, and covered with lights. It was illuminating beneath almost like the cars with the neon lights below. It was just hovering there, I almost wrecked my car twice because I could just not take my eyes off it. It was just hovering there! I felt fear, my heart started pounding in my chest and I felt like I couldn't breathe and almost broke a sweat. I would like to know what it was that I saw because I have never seen or heard of anything like this before!!!!

Me and my wife were traveling on center street in catro valley.when we saw a strange object approaching us at lightning fast speed.I immediatly slammed on the brakes and put my head out the window.at that point what i saw i will never forget.it was a teardrop object about the size of a house hovering over us.It hoverd over us for about 30 seconds while we stared in amazement.it was glowing red with green lights turning in the middle of the object.it then shot off faster than i can ever imagine an object made by man could.i have always been a sceptical person when it came to ufo's and aliens but now i believe!!!!my wife was so shaken by the ufo that she was hyperventalating.

One single, beach ball sized .... "red ball"

Back in the beginning of 1987, a buddy of mine and I, had gotten off work at local movie theater.

Our shift ended at 11:00pm and since neither of us had eaten that day, we decided to go to a Jack In The Box, grab something to eat and then go for a ride in my old car. We left the theater in Hayward, Ca. somewhere around 11:10pm and drove 20 minutes or so to the Jack In The Box on Castro Valley Blvd. in Castro Valley, Ca..

After leaving the drive-thru, we headed east on Castro Valley Blvd. and eventually came to Paloverde Rd., where we made a right turn.

Now, It's dark out there and there was always a rumor or two, floating around our high schools, that the Palomares Rd. area was haunted or something, as was Niles Canyon Rd. To tell the truth, we did go there to eat what we just bought, but also, we went to look for anything unusual, which we soon found. After making my right turn on Paloverde Rd., I spotted, just up ahead, the entrance to Palomares Rd., so pulled over to the right hand shoulder of the small road and parked, right where Palomares Rd. met Paloverde Rd; it was a lonely spot.

Just across from where we were parked, stood an old abandoned barn, with some old advertisements still painted across the back end of it, facing Paloverde Rd.

We started eating and within a few minutes, sometime around 12:00 am, a red ball, about the size of a large beach ball, came up Palomares Rd., heading north, entered on to Paloverde Rd. and stopped directly infront of my car and spun around in circles, in mid air. It made no noise at all and it was a solid red color. It didnt't flicker or shoot sparks or anything like that and again, it was about the size of a beach ball. The whole thing happened only a few seconds from start to finish; approximately 7 or 8 seconds at most, at which time it sped away, heading east up Paloverde Rd. towards Hwy 580 and out of sight.

We both saw it and have always talked about it whenever we run into each other. I should mention though, this was NOT the first time that I and others that I was around, had witnessed this same "red ball". One "red ball" flew through some trees one warm evening, back in the 80's, and zipped right through our Dodge Ball game, about eight of us kids witnessed it, this was in Hayward, Ca. The other time, I was sitting on top of my dads 1964 Chevy, thinking about some girl in class or something, when I saw a large "red ball," high up in the sky. It was following a DC-10 or somekind of large, jet passenger plane. It circled around it and flew from one side of the plane to the other; as if it were playing with it. I ran inside the house, to tell my parents about what I was seeing outside, when I spotted the nightly news on tv. The news person was mentioning that a large, "red ball" had been reported that evening, following and zipping around a large passenger plane and it was being called a "UFO," by whoever judges those situations.

This was also in Hayward, Ca.

I have no reason to lie. These events were real, all three happened at night, and all three events were witnessed by other people.

saw boxkite shaped object with lights on corners, then driver saw tried to follow, to fast in blink of eye went 2 miles other direction.

On the way home one night I saw something out the passenger window of a friends car, I said nothing in fear of being thought of as crazy, and then the driver asked me to look behind us and tell him what I saw, I said you tell me what you see and I'll tell you if it's what I saw. We saw something that looked like a boxkite it had lights on the top and bottom corners of it giving it a rectangle shape, short ends at top and bottom. We decided to follow and get better idea what it was,got to the end of the street and it went to the East toward the canyon and before we could turn left it was in the west over the hospital, tallest building in the city at the time. We were in awe! that was almost 2 miles in a flash. We knew we could not keep up with it and chose to go home. I remember nothing after that not even getting home, I still can't remember getting home, or anything for that matter! This thing moved in a way I've never seen before or since, it could just stop and hover, silently too, it could change direction immediately. Wish I could remember it dissapearing or us leaving to go home, I was sitting in a car at the corner of a main intersection of town watching this thing then it was next day and I woke up at home in bed?!
