Taking video of an airplane with I noticed something in background

Pacific air show is in town this weekend. They start practicing over the joint airbase in Los Alamitos, CA. It’s fun to go outside and see the jets, skydivers, and various planes fly around. A plane was circling above my house for a while so I was taking video of it when I noticed shimmering strips that were stationary and not moving in any direction in the background. So I started recording a new video to zoom in on these objects. You can notice the airplane I am recording off the left in the beginning on the video. These objects were stationary. And very reflective. They just vanished and we’re not moving.

Two green blue flashes on the ground in Seal Beach near base.

Driving down a main road in Westminster, my friend and I saw two flashes on the ground by the base in Seal Beach. It was bright green on the outside, like the green of a stoplight. And, blue in the center, blue like the hottest area of a fire.

It flashed once for a couple seconds, followed by a second of rest. Then, it started again and seemed a little brighter than last one, and lasted a couple seconds, as well.

It was bright enough to illuminate the sky like a Disneyland firework set off that failed to reach the sky.

While relaxing in the jacuzzi in our backyard, we suddenly looked up and saw 8-10 orange fireball like UFOs that seemed to stop and hover over our area for 5 minutes before heading north from Seal Beach toward Long Beach. It also looked like a couple of the fireballs had fire emanating from them, and they did not make sound.

Ball of fire falling from sky

I was talking with friends and I noticed a new light in my peripheral vision. I looked up and saw what seemed to be a falling star just above eye level. Then I realized it was far too large and close to be a shooting star because it seemed to only be a mile away. It looked a ball of fire falling from the sky with a trail of smoke. It feel almost perpendicular to the ground. It took about 5-10 seconds to fall from where I first saw it to beyond the building skyline and out of my sight.

the chevron craft flew towards my sister and me then stoped a stayed in one spot for 5 mins and it would turn a strange bright green then turn a dark red.

we did not see it take off it was just gone.

Mystery light visible from Seal Beach, CA.

On the evening of January 9th, 2015, I was at the pier in Seal Beach, CA, specifically to observe the conjunction of Venus and Mercury, visible to the west as the sun set.

As I was parking my car on the street adjacent to the pier, I looked to the west to see if I could make out the conjunction, and I was surprised to see both Venus and what I thought was Mercury in the western sky. I was surprised by the brightness of “Mercury”, as I had witnessed the conjunction the previous evening, and Mercury was very small and dim compared to Venus, while on this occasion it appeared at least the same visible magnitude as Venus in the evening sky.

I parked and grabbed my binoculars, having brought a good pair of lenses with me to view the planets. This was approx. 1700 as the sun, I believe, had not yet fully set. I picked a good spot to stop and bring up my binoculars in a little park at the base of the pier. Looking through the lenses, I was shocked to see Venus, Mercury looking small and dim below and to the right of Venus, and in the same line formed by Venus and Mercury, another object that I perceived as another planet, below and to the right of Mercury. It was this object that I initially mistook for Mercury while driving up to the pier. Looking through the binoculars, it looked very much like a planet under magnification, revealing what, to me, looked like a planetary disk and having a distinct, yellowish color. The size of the disk and the yellowish color put in my mind that I was looking at Jupiter, which really baffled me as Jupiter was not suppose to be there!

As I was trying to figure out what planet this was, I noticed that it was not in the same place as it was when I first started observing the three objects (2 planets and this whatever-it-was). In the approx. 3 or 4 minutes that I had been looking at it, it had moved directly under Venus, from my perspective! It did not change in elevation, but just moved to the left. The movement was very slow, I could not perceive it moving by looking at it, only by looking away and then looking back, and using Venus and Mercury as reference points, could I see that it was indeed moving. As it moved to the left, it became more orange and started approaching red when, after moving well to the left of Venus, it started an upward and to the left movement, again at the same, almost glacial speed. By this time the sun had set, and although Venus and Mercury were becoming brighter and brighter in the darkening sky, this object was becoming dimer and whiter, having gone from almost red when it started its upward motion to orange to yellow and finally to white, at which time it finally disappeared from my view (by the time it turned white, it was only visible in my binoculars). I would say that the time frame that I observed it was approx. 8 to 10 minutes.

I have been around aviation all my life, and have owned a telescope since I was just a kid, and I have never seen anything like this object before. It was definitely not an aircraft, as it had no anti-collision lights, navigation lights, or any type of beacon. Blimps and drones also operate in the area, I have observed plenty of those, as well, and I can say that it was neither. A balloon? Possibly, but unlike any balloon I have ever seen, changing color the way it did and shining with at least the same visible magnitude as Venus before the sun fully set. I would way the it was spherical, but cannot be 100% certain of that as I only perceived it as a disk. Conditions at the time were relatively clear, with a slight haze over the ocean and twilight lighting. This did all take place over the ocean in the direction of Catalina Island.

Orange/red orb closely followed by F/A-18 Hornet at high rate of speed from south to north in Seal Beach, Ca.

I was driving eastbound on Westminster Blvd approaching Seal Beach Blvd when I observed two craft traveling at a high rate of speed in a south to north direction over the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. The first object was a bright orange/red orb that stayed a consistent brightness and did not have any of the FAA required strobe lights or any perceived shape other than being a bright orb of light.

The second object i could identify and was an F/A-18 Hornet. Living in the flight path of Los Alamitos Air Force base, I know exactly what an F/A-18 sounds like, as well as where its strobes are located as opposed to the similar sounding F-16 which hardly ever uses this Los Alamitos Air Force base which is in their direction of travel, which I'd estimate being 4 miles away. But due to the speed of travel and how they were not on a flight path I've ever seen used, I'm guessing that the F/A-18 was either chasing the UFO or they were traveling together to a location further inland.

I'd also like to add that the ufo was FAR brighter than the strobes on the jet, like comparing a candle to a mag-light. I've seen a similar orb if light about two years ago hovering over the Long Beach Airport, as did thousands of other Long Beach residents. That incident is well documented and was even featured on UFO Hunters on History Channel. Likely the same object or another of the same type.

While greeting at a birthday party at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach CA. noticed a black sphere descending over the golf course and disappearing behind a stand of trees.

Quite a helpless situation because had to be sociable and not cause a disturbance.

It was not a domestic or foreign aircraft, it wasnt an earthly ship..

I was standing on a built platform 20' off the ground to observe the shuttle fly-over. It was around 1 o clock.

As I was watching the shuttle flying by right in front of me, I noticed a very shiney cylinder shape object rotating at my 10 o clock at an altitude of at least 60k feet.

I looked up at a gleeming cylinder and it looked like it had 3 curved panels attached by unknown means.

It had a shiny light on bottom attached with what looked like a rod.

I also seen that it had no structure(s) holding it together.

It hovered at elevation and spun for many seconds. I tried to take photos but lost sight as soon as i took my eyes off of it.

I saw, in broad daylight, up to 18 white, round dots that disappeard, reappeared, and multiplied several times.

Yesterday, at around 2PM, in Seal Beach, CA, I saw what I believe to be UFOs. I was standing on the side of Pacific Coast Highway, facing north. It was a very clear day.

I tilted my head back while I was stretching (otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed), and saw white lights, or dots (mostly round in shape) in the sky. They were very high in the air, too high up to be birds. They made no noise.

The lights, or dots, seemed to disappear and reappear as I watched. I would look away, and then look back, and they were still there.

I watched for a period of 3-5 minutes.

I saw as many as 18 of the objects, and as few as 3. They would literally disappear and reappear as I watched. At one point, I could see only three, and they were in a triangle formation. Then suddenly the rest reappeared.

The objects also seemed to multiply. I would be staring at one, and it appeared to split into two. The grouping seemed random, but very close together. Almost like pockets of white dots.

They were not straight up in the air, but almost straight up. If “straight up” means 90 degrees, then I would say they were at about 70 degrees.

They moved, but not like airplanes. They just seemed to hover, yet they did move slowly across the sky.

A friend was with me and says the same thing I am reporting. We are sane individuals, who were completely sober. Also, we are not the types to report such a thing. I just do not understand what we saw.

Drifting Red Light escorted by 3 helicopters over Orange County

From my friend’s house in Garden Grove on Wednesday Jan 28th at 17:45 hours, we noticed a red light drifting over the Seal Beach area crossing from the Los Angeles/Orange County border towards Huntington Beach,

The light was escorted by 3 helicopters, one on each side and one high overhead. We observed all 4 airships for about 7-8 minutes as the traveled SE over the coast until we lost sight behind the trees
