I saw a shape that looked like a large upside down silver teepee descending quickly in-between the trees and the Hudson River. I only spotted it for a couple of seconds. I couldn't see it any longer when it went down past the trees off the Palisades Parkway.

Bright light that followed a car for about 25min on a desert road

We were driving from Alpine to the camping site in Terlingua on 118, no cars were passing by us. After 20min on the road the my boyfriend told me to look in the mirror to see what was behind us. There was this light that was following the car, we could see that it wasn’t on the road and it was up on the sky. This light got closer and then further. Disappeared for a few minutes and it was back again, moving to the sides.

Suddenly, the light disappeared again and when it reappeared it had three other small lights on a straight line by its side. Then the other 3 lights disappeared and this main light continued to follow us all the way to our camping site for more 25minutes. When we got closer to the camping site, it vanished.

The entire triangle shape was lit up and it was zig zaging at 90 degree angles then turning into a ball of bright light

I would like to report a strange sighting on December 23rd, 2019 at about 9:30 PM. I am a geoscientist and I have no answer with what I saw in the sky that night. I know living near and working for the State of Nevada that a lot of military things go on around here but this was way different.

I was in my hot tub outside with a lady friend, as a witness, on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range looking directly East towards Yerington, Nevada. The event lasted long enough for both of us to watch it for about 15-20 seconds.

There was a triangle shaped object in the sky that was brightly lit up with the point of the object moving to the north as it was coming from the south. The whole object was lit up to define it’s shape and was behind a faint cloud (less dense) where the shape of the light could easily be seen flashing thru the cloud. It made about 12 very quick motions up and down at 90 degree angles in the sky and was flashing light as it made the changes in direction. The shape was easy to follow as it passed thru the faint cloud. As it passed out beyond the cloud, it just turned into a bright ball of light, brighter than the surrounding stars so you could still track it for a few more seconds as it continued to travel north. Crazy light show for sure.

On Monday, August 19th, at somewhere around 10:00 pm in Alpine, Texas. Me and two friends had stepped outside for a cigarette. As we normally do we layed on our backs and admired the night sky as there is very little light pollution where we're from. Me and one of my friends both at the same time verbally exclaimed at something we were seeing. It appears to be an almost bird-like crescent shaped object moving through the sky. It was invisible but we could still see it. It was almost, cartoonishly invisible as the outline of it was pronounced but the inside of the object was invisible. It seemed almost as if it was like a magnifying glass, warping the view of the stars above it as it traveled. It was completely dead silent. I'm unable to determine what it's elevation was. I saw it for 5-7 seconds, then lost track of it when I stood up to see it better. My friend claims to have seen it continue flying then dissapear into the horizon. Had my friend not seen it. I'm almost certain that I would have dismissed it. But now I'm inclined to believe that it was some sort of flying object. Whether it was government technology or an alien spacecraft, I am unaware. All I know is that I did see it.

On July 14, 2019, (Sunday), Eastern Standard Time, about 9:20pm, I was driving along Hillside Avenue in the area of Alpine, NJ, in Bergen County. The sky was dark since the sun had already set down.

The road was a bit hilly and I was driving upward close to the intersection on 9W right before stopping at a red light, when all of a sudden, an illuminating bright light sped quickly straight across right before the intersection across my path and stopped abruptly a few yards behind a tree on the right corner of the intersection.

Then surprisingly, a second later, another bright, illuminating light sped quickly just as the first light and stopped right before the first bright light stood. As soon as the second light met up with the first light, they both zoomed straight out to the right and quickly disappeared.

These bright illumination lights happened in a matter of 2-3 seconds only. That’s when I realized that I just encountered a mysterious sighting that happened in a split second.

Cluster of 50-60 moving lights in the night sky over Alpine, Utah.

Looking out of the window at the eastern night sky, my husband saw a cluster of 50-60 lights that looked like stars, move westward over the mountain towards us. The cluster moved slowly and silently. We went outside to watch them as they stopped then moved north, the cluster shape changing. They slowed, then one by one the lights started moving south in a single file. The whole process took about 15 minutes until the lights were out of our line of sight.

Colorful object seen from naked eye. Went and grabbed my video camera and filmed several times. It seemed to be moving to the west around the same path of a star. There were two of them, the other at a greater distance. I grabbed my compass and it was around 160 degrees of magnetic north.

Bright stationary light looked like Venus with a red small light that encircled around the center of the light.

It's a very clear night to see the stars & we are out of town a ways so it's even clearer. We saw a stationary bright light that almost looks like Venus, It's so bright it creates what looks like a cross of light in the sky. It is low in the western sky below & to the right of Venus.

Could see a red circular ball like light that appeared to be circling around the outer center of the stationary bright light as it would flash red on the far left & then red on the far right of the light. The red ball like lights size was less than 1/4th of the size of the stationary bright light it was encircling. Not sure how long it's been there, watched it for 10 minutes & came to write this. I just went to check & see if it was still there & it's gone. It's now 12:25.

This is the second time that I & my friend have seen this in this same place only last time it was a little higher in the western sky & it was about a year& 1/2 or so ago. My friend noticed it first last time & said it was the same thing he had seen in Nashville sometime between 1998 & 2000. Last time we saw a red light travel up to the stationary light & then leave it....he said that happened when he saw it in Nashville too. Tonight we didn't see any red light coming or going. However, when I first noticed the light there was a small red light shining for a moment to the upper left of the stationary light about a foot away from the light. I looked away for a moment as I was driving at the time & when I looked back the small red light was gone.

Not much of video, but non the less, I just saw what looked like a funny looking light. I told my wife, look at that light (white color), she said, it's a plane. I told her no sound at all. We finally stepped outside and saw it was moving past a blinking star, or so we think. I ran inside got my portable camera and started to record it. I attempted to keep up with it, so in the video it looks like it's moving much, but it was. Moved silent and fast. One light and no strobes.

We saw in the distance 2 red lights side by side with a white one far above those 2. We got out of the car and the lights split apart, 4 crafts flew above as a very low speeds and altitude. They were all quiet with very little sound. They were flying towards Marfa Texas, straight towards the Marfa lights. They all began to circle back around to the left back to the direction they came from when a 5th craft began flying directly above us. It was a triangle with one red and white light on each side and a very bright white light in the front, almost like headlights. After turning they all went toward Fort Davis.

Red, circular object floating above Alpine, Utah...STRANGE!

Our children were playing outside in the front yard while the adults were talking inside the home (birthday party for one of the adults). Suddenly around 8:15pm (at dusk) all the children ran through the door yelling for us to come out. My brother-in-law and I went outside to see what all the commotion was about and all the kids were pointing toward the mountain and the sky. As I looked in the direction of where they were pointing, I clearly saw a tiny, reddish/orangish, circular object slowly floating away from the half way point of the mountain and into the sky (with NO noise whatsoever). The object continued up until it hit about 1,500 feet (no way to really tell how high) and then nearly stopped and moved horizontal to the left about 200 feet. Then it STOPPED! And for about 4 seconds in twinkled almost like a star, and then POOF it was gone! STRANGE TO SAY THE LEAST!!! I then quizzed my son, 13 years old, about what he saw. He said that initially when he saw the light it was larger then when I saw it and it was ON the mountain's half way point, and in his words, "Dad, I thought it was a campfire." He said, that the "campfire" just lifted off the mountain and started to float up. Again, STRANGE! After we talked about it for about 30 minutes, my brother-in-law decided to call the police. They came to the home in about 15 minutes and we gave a full report...and they mentioned that no one else had called it in. It was funny because one of the officers was on his first day on the job! To be clear, there are NO homes, structures, or any man made things at the half way point of this mountain...just pure mountain, and no trees...just shrub oak. There is no way that it was a plane, helicopter, balloon, model rocket, laser beam, etc...at least not by my observation. I don't believe in the traditional "UFO" concept, nor do I believe that creatures from other planets visit this earth in a "UFO" sort of way...but I have to admit, this was really weird, thus the post.

If anyone else saw this object, please post something here so I don't think the twelve of us are going crazy! :-)

Red and silver ball seen over mountain town of Alpine, CA.

I was in the back yard and I looked up. My fiance was down a hill about 20 yards away. He was watering with a hose, and dogs were barking so he could not hear me. I said several times, "Look at the strange plane. It has no wings", but he could not understand me, and kept on with his work. I kept staring at the object.

The object was a ball not quite the size of a basketball but larger than a soft- ball. It was red and silver and looked like a crumpled sheet of tinfoil with red places in what appeared to be the indentations.

It was moving east about the speed of a slow-moving plane. (I later saw a plane in that area, and it flew quite a bit faster). I don't think I looked away, but suddenly there was a smaller dark ball on each side of the object. This configuration lasted about 30-40 seconds, and suddenly they all were gone. No noise. No speeding away ... they just disappeared.

I immediately wrote down the time and date in case I would hear someone else talking about the same event. I have talked to no one who saw this.

It was on a chilly day in May, we were hunting fire wood in the national forest where we were allow to gether wood. We were their around noon time. I was the first one to look up and see three orangeish spheres hovering above us about 100 to 200 ft. above. They seem to be watching us close. They were hovering in a triangler formation. everyone watched for a few minutes untill some got scared and went back to the truck. i was so amazed,that i watch for a good 20 minutes untill they shot off in three different directions. Their was no sound of any type of propulsion of any type. What was strange,was that you could hear a jet fighter or some type of jet coming in the background. I will never forget this oppurtunity for the rest of my life. I am a believer.

Three reputable witnesses see UFO over west Texas.

I am an attorney. I was with an owner of a major telephone company, as well as an heir to an oil and gas fortune.

We were the only ones to see them. There were other people near us but they did not see them. We were visiting a retired navy ship captain at his home that was built on the top of a very tall hill south of the Fort Davis mountains in west Texas. I, along with the two others with me, was at the property line ofthis home, away from the lights of the house. We were playing with a very expensive pair of night vision binoculars the retired captain had. We were using them to see the incredible number of stars that were overhead. These stars were invisible to the naked eye and when we used the binoculars you could se tons of other stars and satelites. Then I saw it. One of the "stars" directly overhead began moving in random directions, back and forth. It had been stationary the entire time we were looking up ad then it started moving tens of degrees across the sky in mere seconds. It moved in a random mode for several minutes.

I handed the night sight binoculars to the phone company owner and the oil and gas man. We all saw it. By the time we got everyone out of the house, it was gone. I saw it take off in what would have been tens of thousands of miles per hour. It could start and stop and maneuver in ways that no engines I have ever heard of could. It was extremely high in orbit. I thought it was another satellite until it began making its sharp turns and starts and stops.

triangular shaped object with green steady lights moving slowly with no sound and disappeared.

The shape of the craft was triangular, kind of like a kite, with bright green lights, they were not blinking lights. The craft was low it was moving slowly but not too slow, there was no sound coming from it, just dead silence. As we were following it in our car we took our phones out to record it but by the time we got our phones ready it disappeared right in front of our eyes. Two hours later other people heard the sound of a jet flying by, and this morning I also heard a jet flying by and earlier this evening there were traces of the smoke the jets leave in the sky, but the object we saw was not a jet because there was no noise coming from it what so ever and jets or airplanes don’t just disappear like that.

Two of us traveling east bound on highway at 12:35am. First sighted white hovering light clusters to the south of highway above hills. Freeway was dark, few cars present. As we continued eastward spheres countinued to move north easterly. We noticed a large circle of light in the upper center of the formation with 4 circles breaking away and then moving toward the center becoming one sphere, repeatedly. As we moved toward our destination the formation seemed to follow us and hover above our vechicle. At this point, we felt as if we were being followed. We entered our garage and looked out the window viewing it above our neighbors home which still had exterior lights on. At this point we shut off all our lights and contiued to watch this unidentified object hovering in the same location.

I was outside playing in the snow with the kids. For some reason I looked up and there it was. Flying from NE to SW against the wind. No audible noise. The shape and color were hard to tell. I couldn't tell if I was seeing 3 different triangle object fliying in a V formation,or the points of 1 larger triangle shaped craft. Also the color was strange it was silvery/translucent and seemed to reflect the color of they sky. Everything about it made it hard to tell if I was seeing a far off big object or a close small object. I watched it from about 45 degrees off my right horizon to about 60 degrees off my left horizon. Told the kids to keep an eye on it while I went in and got the camcorder. When I got back they were working on a snowman and didn't care about the UFO. I wasn't able to see it again.

Sighted a triangle object, dark moving at a tremendous speed, silently out of sight past the horizon in 5 seconds.

Friday night at about 11:00 pm I saw the strangest thing while looking at the night sky. Looking straight up I saw a line of light in the sky that my first reaction was that Oh its a shooting star. But the light didn't fade out like a shooting star would and the light didn't move in a downward motion but in a horizontal movement across the sky. Then I realized I'm looking at lit up side or a reflecting side or edge of an object. My next reaction was that I must be seeing an owl gliding across the night sky trying to rationalize this when I immediately realized this is no owl. I could make out the sides of a 3 sided object dark as the night sky itself but the sides were just barely visible. I felt that rather then looking at just a dark object, not lit up that I felt it was camouflaged to the night sky. I don't know how to explain that but that's a feeling that went through me. My reaction in a split second was "how sneaky this thing is". I want to say it was not lit, it seemed as black and void as the night sky, but I was able to make out the 3 sides. I'm not sure if it was reflections or actual lights very dim that shown its form, but I could make out its shape. No doubt though at what I was seeing even as quick as it was I was able to get a clear view and take it all in. 3 sided, like a guitar pick shape.When it passed in front of the stars the shape was also that much more easier to decern. Heading west to east. When it was out of sight I even thought to hold my hand out in the sky to try to judge the size it took up in the sky. When I held my hand out I would say that it was the size of half of my hand size. It was not a far off object I was looking at. Marine helicopters fly through this corridor daily heading for The Miramar Base, this object seemed to be moving at about that or just above that height that the helicopters fly at. What that elevation is I dont know but that is the best way for me to judge what height in the sky the object seemed to be. Not a sound, and because there was no sound ! and it m oved at a tremendous speed my mind was searching for a different word then flying. It was one of those things where if you weren't looking in just the right spot at the right time you would never have seen it, it was so stealthy. I saw it from directly over my head and disappear past the mountains in the east 10 miles away in 5 seconds. Once it was out of sight I stood staring at the sky for another 15 minutes trying to understand what the heck could it have been and thinking perhaps I might see it again. The frustration of not being able to understand what could be that shape, that quiet, that dark and move at that rate of speed, made me not even want to think about it at all until I spoke to my wife about it the next day. I couldn't fit it into a box in my mind or relate it to anything Ive ever seen, and that can be frustrating. Do we have something that can move at night like this ? If we dont then someone does, there is NO doubt about that in my mind now. I'm sending a little drawing of how it looked to me as I looked up at what I would guess was its underside. Side A is the edge I first noticed glimmering that I thought was a line of light in the sky that was a shooting star. Side B would be the side closest to me looking up and the front was the portion of the object that was at the head of it moving towards the east.

Characteristics: Aura or haze around object, Aircraft nearby

The siting is parallels area 51 in Nevada, the elevation abpove sea leval is significantly greater alt. than Area 51.

I was driving along Highway 395 traveling south. I reached a point where the road run's along the edge of a steep bluff. I belive about 11, 000 ft. above sea leval. I felt annoyance and looked up and towards the right and seen a bright illuminated object moving at high velocity west, south west. um, the light seem to flash me like a glare. I watched it move peering at the shape wondering if I seen a satelite. I felt I seen a UFO. On reaching bridgeport I thought it followed me since miles away I thought I seen the object traveling east north east climbing in altitude. I seen my car had a dot I continued to notice when the car was parked. when I parked the car and walked away from it. I sensed something telekentic light occuring on the engine that would vanish abruptly. When I got to Bridgeport I thought I seen the object moving. I was completely alone on the highway 395 for some time and the jet fighter's didn't arrive until several minutes later.

DURING A HUNTING TRIP IN THE MOUNTAINS,WE MADE CAMP AND LATE THAT NIGHT I SAW THE FOLLOWING. A BRIGHT LIGHT THAT CAME FROM THE SOUTHEAST HEADING NORTH. IT STOPPED ABOUT AT 1500 ABOVE,HOVERING WITH THE LIGHT FASING AND GLOWING.

THEN ANOTHER LIGHT LEFT FROM THE FIRST ONE LIGHT HEADING TO GROUND AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE.IT WAS OUT OF SITE FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES,THEN RETURN TO THE LARGER LIGHT FOR ABOUT 5 TO 8 MINUTES AND THEN RETURNED TOWARDS THE GROUND AGAIN.THIS CARRIED ON FOR ABOUT A HOUR AND A HALF.

AFTER THAT THE SMALL LIGHT SEEM TO CONNECT TO THE LARGER LIGHT AND THE LARGER LIGHT SHOT UP AT A 80 DEGREE SO FAST I ALMOST MISSED SEEING IT..

NEVER TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THIS BUT IT WAS ON THE BORDER OF ARIZ. AND NEW MEXICO

Mysterious lights in the sky around Alpine, Texas

Myself and two buddies (all college students) were at the edge of our small town, feeding my horse when we noticed a light in the sky, to our north at an approx. distance of 15 miles. We determined this by the objects proximity to a mountain in the same area. We noticed the light because it was moving all around but not going anywhere. It also caught our attention because there is normally very little aircraft activity in the area, due to its remote location. The light would also change colors every few minutes, from white to green and back. After observing for a few minutes, we noticed another object to our west at about the same distance, behaving in the same manner. We looked in all directions and noticed two more. One to the east and one to the south. These appeared a bit more distant. As for altitude, my guess is from 2,000 ft. for the closest two to ??? for the distant lights. Again, all were just hovering, then moving up and down, left and right. Very erratic. Finally, the lights just went out.

I returned to my dorm and found my roomate was listening to his police scanner, as he was a part time ambulance driver. When I walked in, he asked if I had noticed any lights in the sky because the scanner chatter was all about mysterious lights between Alpine and Fort Davis. I told him "yes", we had been observing them for almost and hour. On the scanner, we heard the Highway Patrol trying to get the Civil Air Patrol to send a plane out to the area to see if there was an aircraft in trouble. Only the light north of town was being investigated and it seemed they (autorities) were unaware of the other three lights.

The scanner traffic concerning the event, finally died out and to my knowledge, nothing was done to investigate the matter.

Fall, clear, full visual disc sighting unbelievable air manuevers ,speed , brightness.

north side of Escuidia mtn. clear/near full moon great illumination. 60 degree directly west seemed to appear out of nowhere like a meteor except it spotted hovered at approximatly 30 to 40 thousand feet ,1/4 diameter print..went generally north and lowered to 10,000 changing direction and altitude suddenly as it proceeded covering at least 100 miles of sky in an instant then change 50 miles in another sharp direction change. Many times after it did those impossible manuvers it would pause several seconds. Once it made it to 2500 ft. it suddenly reversed back to close to its original position so fast that it was a bright blur to the eyes and vanished. My dad was a pilot at the time and I was a student of airplanes for years we both watched the whole thing and still refer to that camping trip every time we meet.

This sighting was in the early 1960s when I was 14 and had not heard of ufos yet, but watched it with friends for about 45 minutes.

When I was 14, I lived in a tiny town in utah and had not heard of ufo's, although this was not my only experience in that town. We lived in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. The cemetery was a high hill in the center of town (still is), and all of us kids liked to meet up (in summer) after the parents were asleep, on this hill to tell scary stories. We slept out in our sleeping bags in various friends yards, all summer...then would head up to the cemetery when the coast was clear.

It was always various numbers of us, never the same. This particular night, about 5 or so of us..can't remember exactly who all was there anymore, were telling stories when one of the kids, pointed to the mountains and said, "what is that"… We looked, it was against the mountains to the east, large, metallic, and saucer shaped, with colored lights flashing off and on in a circular direction.

At first we were afraid and stood up to head for home. One of the boys said, "They already know we are here, so no point in running." We sat back down and continued with our stories. We were not afraid any more, but still occasionally monitored it. Eventually, after about 45 minutes or so, someone noticed it was gone.

We finished our stories and went home. I don't remember any of us ever talking about it again. When I look back on it now...I wonder at how we were so nonchalant about it...and how it was that one of us said..."they know we are here..."

Our ages at that time were about 14 to 16. I was 14 at that time and moved away with my family when I was 16...never saw those kids again.

I have seen other ufos and other phenomenon in other places over the years.
