3 objects appearing shortly after shooting star event

A significant shooting star that left a brilliant fire trail that may have been further away than the specified location but shortly thereafter, 3 of what looked like stars blinked into view which remained stationary and readily seen for nearly a minute followed by slowly fading out of sight. No further activity occurred after event. I had the Live ATC mobile app on my cell phone which I opened to listen to the LA center ZLA sectors and after 5 minutes of listening, air traffic control started asking pilots to validate a fire that was in it's incipient stage. However, the locality was not made clear while listening.

I was sitting on my 2nd story back porch facing south at 1:50AM when a large fireball erupted up and over the hill and silently billowed out colorful flames. They were blue, orange, and pink- very vibrant with a smoky trail. It then changed to a horizontal trajectory and faded into an orange orb in a vertical column if light with a faint orange trail. It then slowly and silently floated from southwest to southeast of my location, taking a curved path across the valley

I noticed a large bright orange unblinking light like a headlight on an airplane, moving from NW toward SE No noise heard.

At first, i thought the object was approaching, but as it moved SE, it seemed to take a path over the mountains south of Tehachapi. I could not determine the shape of the object, but as it turned toward the mountains, the orange light elongated as if a beam, and then seemed to reflect or emanate off the length of the object. I thought it might be a blimp, but my friend, who observed it alongside of me, thought that whatever it was emitted an orange-colored exhaust cloud ejected from the rear. I don't believe I ever saw a blimp over this area. As the object continued in the same direction, the light faded, becoming a faint point of light like an airplane, and then disappeared from view.

I saw what I thought was a very bright and close airplane but it was not moving.

I stepped outside at 330 am to let the dogs go outside. I saw a very bright airplane with one red light, with blue and green and white flashing lights. It wasn't moving. As I was staring at it the v-shaped thing kind of wobbled from side to side really fast as if to get my attention. It was then that I realized what it was. And that's when I saw the rest of them. There had to be hundreds of them spread out among the stars. They were all the same v shape and flashing. They were everywhere I looked. Some were closer or further away or bigger or smaller than each other. I was frightened but had to do ranch chores because I had to be at work very early that day. I still see them every day and night. They aren't as close as they were the first day but they are still visible. I live up high at 5500 feet with no street or city lights around me at all.

single small disc like a helium balloon but flying overhead straight, steady, silent and fast just after sunset. No wind.

Saw it in western sky about 35 degrees, thought it was a helium party balloon, but noticed it wasn't tumbling, but floating steadily eastward. It passed directly over my head and the building behind me cut off my field of vision as I turned around to watch it. It had no lights, but a whitish oval patch on the belly. There was no wind at ground level. As it passed overhead I was sure it could not be a balloon. It flew straight, silent and steady. It looked as though it was headed in a straight line directly over the town center. I'd be surprised if no one else saw it.

Size: like a dime or nickel held at arm's length. Very clear and well defined.

Was driving east on hwy 58 when I looked up in the sky and noticed over 20 or more lights in a straight line moving south east. Sky was clear and stars where visible. I observed no other movement in the sky. The lights where bright and moving at the same time. The lights disappeared only to reappear as I got off the freeway and onto another side road. Same lights and same formation and going in the same direction. I pulled over to get a better look and to take a picture but my stupid camera wouldn't focus. The lights once again disappeared as quickly as they appeared. There are many testing sites near tehachapi/mojave so I figured it might be helicopters in formation or something to that effect but as I rolled my window down I didn't hear anything. Other then freeway traffic it was for the most part quite. Never seen anything like that before. Well hopefully this information helps. Tried to get it to you while it was still fresh in my memory. Also I was bet! ween tucker road and tehachapi willow rd when I seen both sightings. Thank you and I hope the information I gave you helps.

I was laying in bed looking north west out sliding glass door . I am at about 5,000 ft and look out over the valley floor. I noticed a flashing light in sky, seemingly far away. it was tiny, but intensely bright. It grew larger as it came toward my location. At first i thought perhaps something from Edwards AFB or a plane headed toward Bakersfield airport. it was difficult to judge speed as it was coming mostly diretly toward me. not knowing its size i could not judge. it then move 90 degrees to the right and at that angle of view i could tell it was going fast . It then went up, down, right .left like no helicopter or drone or aircraft could maneuver. As it moved across my field of vision and came closer it could distinguish a white, red, green and blue light on the craft. No craft I know of is that shape or displays lights in a triangle shape and those colors. the maneuvers were not curves, but abrupt 90 degree angles. it also rose and fell at an am! azing rate of speed. I got out of bed, watched it from my deck from which i can see many miles. until it was obscured by trees between me and the craft.

I looked up to see a completely illuminated diamond like opal all colors but white most prominent.

The object was very low about 150 ft strangely i do not remember it passing overhead even though it must of done so to get to the other side of the prison gate where it began to morph and lower or extend or leak a string like equally illuminated part of itself while the top of it was sphere like it shimmered made no noise and moved away slowly. And continued to move away while seeming to change from sphere to triangle to square. I watched until it was only a dot of light. I know that this object was not a balloon or a airplane And i am very intrigued and confused as to why i cannot recall it passing overhead i looked up the first time and it was 150 ft and just a bit to my left i remember it beginning to move but then i cant remember looking directly up i remember again when it was to my right and same height but farther away and beginning to shape shift. The area is a hilly mountain terrain prison in the middle of the tehachapi mountains.

My 2 sons (21 & 22 years old) and I were outside in the hot tub around 10pm in heavy fog, initially, but the fog lifted and we started seeing stars. My youngest son and I were facing my house looking up and my oldest son was facing us.

Suddenly an extremely bright light (greenish blue) seemed to spotlight down over the eave of the house. It only lasted a few seconds.

The son facing away from the house toward us said the trees and horse pasture lit up, but he didn't see the light directly.

My youngest and I had to squint while looking at it.

We all immediately said, "What was THAT??"

It was totally silent outside - no noise whatsoever.

Looking west from my home in Bear Valley Springs, a community approximately 17 miles from the town of Tehachapi, I first watched this blinking light go in one direction, thinking it must be a jet but the brightness and speed got my attention because it didn't seem consistent with that of a jet or plane.

It suddenly stopped the direction it was going in, then a moment later went in opposite direction, then stopped again, then went up a few degrees, then left, then right, then rather quickly went down some degrees before it went up again, then repeated this back and forth,up and down pattern.

At one point a small light broke off and descended straight down. I don't know how long this object stayed in that area, as I went back to bed after watching for 45 minutes or more.

I received a phone call from my brother in-law he told me to go outside of my front door. He told me he could see what looked like helicopters flying by.

My wife and I looked due north. At about 30 degrees above the horizon what at first looked like orange balls in the sky. After observing them and seeing one more come from the west, the other ones seemed to be flickering and fading out. I’m pretty sure they were Chinese lanterns.

Whatever they were they were moving with the prevailing winds from the west heading due east. Holding my hand out at arm's length I would say they were a little bigger than a bb.

The next day, after talking to my sister and brother in-law, they said when they first spotted them, there were about 30 that passed by.

January 23, 2011: My son was on his way to work about 4:10 am. He spotted a very bright light at least 10 times larger than a star.

He called me and woke me up and said that he thinks he is seeing a UFO and said that I needed to get up and look. I looked out my window and there was no doubt that something was hovering in the sky.

I believe that this light could have been seen from Mojave, Edwards Air force base and surrounding areas. My son lost visual of the light when he was driving in the mountains, but he had it in his sigh for about 30 minutes. I looked at for about 5 minutes and decided to go back to bed. I don’t own a camera so I did not take a picture.

One other thing my cell phone light was going quite bright then dim while I was talking to my son, it has never done that. I have not seen the pictures my son took at this time. I am wondering if anyone had seen this light.

While driving from Anteloe Valley to Tehachapi California, at approx. 10pm, I observed what appeared to be a bright orange light leaving behind a light trail and what appeared to be a circular ring of smoke.

I pulled over to observe the object completely go dark. I kept a watchfull look and a few moments later, the object had moved further south and a more dim orange light appeared and it went dark again.

Sky visability was clear and it appeard to be at an approximate altitude of 2500 feet.

There were no other visible aircraft in the sky and I did not observe any aircraft following this object.

Sitting on the steps of the temple looking east to the 5,000 ft. foothills of the Southern Sierra. I saw a spinning disc flying N over the ridge line. Then it turned due north over the next big peak and sped out of sight. I got scared and got up to run back to the kitchen door. The monk was up having tea. I told him I just saw a ufo. He believed me.

Immense in size, Cheveron or "V" shaped, silent until it turned, then there was a thunderous roar.

On June 12th, 2005, at 20:33 hours, while taking an evening stroll with my wife and son, near twilight hours, in the community of Bear Valley Springs, located just outside the city of Tehachapi, CA we the three of us spotted a very unusual aircraft. The evening was dead quite when the craft was spotted. My son was the first to have seen it. Then, my wife and myself. At a first glance it appeared to me as a regular plane in the distance with possibly landing gear down creating twinkling lights that veried from red to white. However, within a split second I realized that it made no noise and it was enormous in size realtive to the mountains that it was slowly moving past. Then, an immense roar seemed to propel it heading East. When it turned it was difficult to conceive the overall size. Also, as it turned it revealed more lights appearing in a cheveron or "V" shape. I believe it had to be moving very rapidly, but not as one might perceive when something of normal appearing size moves. I say this because anything of such immense proprtions would have to have a significant speed to propel it out of view in such a short time. We were unable to make out an outline. However, when it turned I ran from the top of the road, down into my house. I grabbed a digital camera and shot some video. I thought the video was worthless. With my naked eye I could faintly see the craft, so I thought the camera was not picking-up anythiong of value. After reviewing the video on my computer, I was embarrassed because I sounded rediculous with excitement. I even phoned the local police that night because I thought for sure we could not have been the only people to have seen it. Recently, after finding this site I saw a picture that had lights that seemed similar. A cheveron or "V" type object, so I took another peak at the video. I ran through the video frame by frame. Frames of the craft appear insignificant, bouncy, and have nothing to compare relative size, but two frames one is able to identify a string of lights. What is viewable could be the back of the craft, as it had already turned towards the South/East towards Mojave. I took that picture, using some simple photo tools, I enhanced the brightness of the object to try to see an outline. I will submit the picture to you. I am not a UFO buff, I would say it had to be military. However, due to the immense size of the craft puts a immense question mark inside my brain. Why so damn big! I was USAF for six years. I saw a lot of aircraft. While I was stationed at Edwards AFB it was not uncommon to see the B-2 Bomber flying around as we played golf, but this was no B-2. In size there was no comparison and while the B-2 has deceptive lines in flight it is not silent. I'm still bewildered.

3 hovering flashing lites

Three flashing red and green lites, at first glance I thought they were commercial aircraft which fly up here. These lites were coming south west to North east, the commercial air traffic usually flys north west to south east of Tehachapi. The lites I saw were about a thousand feet, I would estimate above the normal traffic, but I am not a expert so it is my estimate. I came out twice that nite, and the lites were there both times, they at one point seemed to be standing still. Third time I came out there was no trace of the lites.

A wide arc shaped object with redish and white blinking lights traveled north to south over Tehachapi, CA at 10PM, on 7/23.

I was walking my dog just before bed when I saw the object in the clear night sky. The exact shape of the oject is best described as a wide arc. Not a "V" or a "U". It is possible that it was a formation of smaller aircraft, but with the naked eye it appeared to be solid, as the lights stayed within the same proximity of eachother throughout the entire sighting. I noticed it at 10 PM, Daylight Savings Time, moving slowly from the north to the south above our home in Tehachapi, CA. From its northerly position the leading edge was lit with blinking lights, white and redish. My husband and I were not aware of sound until it was directly overhead, then it sounded like one very high altitude jet. There was one amber light to the rear left side that did not blink. Two other aircraft were in the sky at the same time. One, which appeared to be a "normal" smaller aircraft behind and possibly lower but traveling in the same direction, and another to the left of the object traveling in the opposite direction. I tried to measure the size of the object with my fingers to give me some idea of its size, but with no idea of the altitude any accuracy was impossible. None-the-less, I will include that information. As it continued southward, no longer directly overhead but still close, it was approximately the length of my index finger, about 3 inches long, in a wide arc shape. The unblinking amber light to it's left rear, mentioned above was approximately an inch and 1/2 behind it. We watched it until it was obscured by the small hill in front of our house. My husband and I are both in our 50s with grown children. Neither one of us have ever seen anything like this before.

IT WAS HUGE COMMING UP OVER THE MOUNTAIN PASS. IT WAS ALMOST TRANSPARENT, THE REASON I SAW WAS BECAUSE OF THE REFLECTION OF THE SUN. IT WAS AS BIG AS A 50 STORY BUILDING UP IN THE AIR ABOUT 1000 FT. IT LOOKED LIKE A GIANT WINDOW WITH HORIZONTAL BLINDS IN IT. IT WAS ALMOST CLEAR AND STEADY AS A ROCK. A PERFECT RECTANGLE JUST HANGING THERE. THEN IN ONE MOVE THE HORIZONTAL, ILL CALL THEM WINGS ABOUT 30 OF THEM LIKE SHATTERED AND THE 2 VERTICAL SIDES CAME TOGEATHER AND FELL STRIGHT DOWN IN A SPARKLING SHOW BUT NOTHING REACHED THE GROUND. I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I WAS ALMOST UNDER IT AND IT WAS GONE.

a flashing stationary white light with two constant red lights on the same side- then a moving light further away traveling fast with a trail

I noticed a flashing light through the window similar to what a plane looks like at night. I didn't pay much attention until I noticed several minutes later that the object had not moved. It was too high for a helicopter to hover and we live in a rural mountainous area with no reason for a helicopter to hover at night. I got my binoculars to check it out and it seemed so strange I called my wife to come look. She also got binoculars and we watched it for several minutes. She also said it looked very strange. Then we noticed another object much farther away and above the stationary object, that was travelling very fast and leaving a trail similar to a comets trail. It also was a white light but so far away that that was all we could see. The stationary object had a bright pulsating light that flashed about once a second. Between flashes you could see two red lights both on the right side of the white light. While we continued to watch it a plane came into view flying toward us and the lights on the object immediately went out.

observed a white object against a blue sky which did not move or behave like an airplane

The object first appeared to be a jetliner travelling south at a high altitude. Then it moved radically toward the west. It seemed to go either into or behind a cloud where it remained visible and appeared to stop. It then moved from behind the cloud headed west, then turned back to the north which was strange in that thats where it originally came from. For a long time I was able to see the object as a white dot. That was the most notable characteristic , the pure white color. Through binoculars you could sort of make out a swept wing type of design but I cant be sure of that. The object moved in a strange way unlike either a plane or a baloon. There was no contrail. Neither my wife nor I could explain what we had seen.

A husband and wife were awake at 0320 hours because the wife had a painful arm. She went into the bathroom to tend to her arm, and the husband lay on the bed, with his feet facing to the west as he looked out the double French doors to the west.

Suddenly, he noticed a large, orange, luminous object, seemingly in the distance, that appeared to be flying directly toward his location. At first, he thought it might be a reflection of the security keypad on the wall by his bed, but he quickly realized that its color is green, not the shade orange or red he was observing.

The husband got out of bed and continued to observe to object by looking through the center pane of the door. The object was brilliantly bright, and it looked like a fireball.

Suddenly, the object made a 90 degree turn to the south, at which time its "firey" tail could be seen by both him and his wife. The wife commented that it was "like a comet." The tail's color was golden orange, and it was "bigger on top" than it was on the bottom. Also, material was being ejected from the object, and it appeared to be burning.

The object just seemed to dissapate in the southern sky.

The caller added that he does not see how anyone in the San Joaquin Valley could have missed it.

Also, the caller added that when he was a graduate student in Long Beach, CA, in 1974, he saw a formation of four triangular shaped objects, imbedded in a cloud of green tinted light, pass overhead of his penthouse apartment and head north.

I was traveling on Hiway 58 over the Tehchapi Pass and decided to take the scienc route through the hillside off of the freeway. It was a bright morning the sun was just coming up over the hills towards the east. I first noticed the vehicle behind me it seemed odd, because it was not directly on the road but somewhat above the road. I keep trying to get a good look at it because the lights were placed oddly on it. They were up high and to far apart for a car. The road is very windy and I had to concentrate on my driving but the vehicle behind(above) my car (a volkswagon bug)continued to follow me too closely. I become alarmed when I realized it was actually above me and as I began to go around a sharp bend in the road I was suddenly blindeed by what I thought was the front of a semi-truck trailer(behind the cab)but after it passed me I looked into the side view and rear view mirrors and saw there was not a truck there! I saw that the vehicle that was following me was now going past me above the road. I couldn't get a good view of it due to the glare of the rising sun. But it was definitly flying past my car. After I was blinded by what I thought was the metallic reflection of the front of a semi-truck trailer I noticed the lights on the vehicle behind me were blue and a light green color. After being blinded and realizing something was flying past I got really scared and about in a 30 to 40 span minutes later I found myself knelling on the side of the road about a 1/4 mile away from my car. Then after walking to car and starting it up the next thing I am aware is that I am pulling into the Tehachpi Prison grounds!!! I turn and around and drive away from there only to next realize that I am at my friend's house in Rosamond and over 4 hours had passed.

Large delta shape craft passed overhead blocking out the view of stars behind its shape. No sound.

At the time of this sighting I was a boy of twelve years of age. I was with a group of YMCA members camping overnight in the Tehachapi Mountians east of Mojave.

We were camped in the open, I had a clear view of the sky overhead through the trees.

We had all turned in for the night, I could not sleep. I was looking up when I noticed stars disappearing, something was passing by in the night sky in the shape of a huge delta shape. There were no running lights, I remember what was even stranger to me is that this craft made no decernable sound. It passed by my field of vision in about 15 seconds. Its direction was to the west. It did not seem to be moving very fast, I could not determine its speed as I could not figure how high or how large the craft was. This was really the highlight of my summer that year.

Guess I screwed up, wrote this about 2 AM.

That's Tehachapi California.

I thought sometime later, what I saw may have been one of the two XB-70's that may have been flying about that time, but they never flew without a F-104 or A4 chase plane and I doubt they flew at night.. Those planes were very loud.

I'm not one to believe in extra terrestrial UFO's because of the physics involved......but never say never.

Anyway, hope this helps. I found a couple of spelling gaffes as well. Oh well.

white fireball hitting ground

i am writing this for my wife as this is the 2nd time in a month when she saw a white globe come down fast from the west as she was traveling west on hwy 58 5 miles east of tehachapi when a white fireball hit the ground in front of her car and dissipated last time was outside of mojave when it came down and dissipated in open desert to her south both times came out of the west extremely low?? no sound other cars on the road ---
