I saw what I thought was a plane or helicopter then realized it was traveling backwards the lights were behind it. It was moving too fast to be conventional aircraft and it changed direction too sharp and fast. I considered it to be an asteroid or something like that but I went up in elevation and I’ve seen haley’s comet and Halle bop they never changed elevation.

10+ glowing objects flying southwest over the night sky

Walked out side to have a smoke, always take the time to look up noticed what I thought was a high flying plane. Then I noticed another and another first thinking they could be stars and the clouds are moving tonight.

So I placed a box on the wall next to me, hid the object behind the box so out of sight, and wiated for it to pop up it did. Proving to me the objects where moving in the night sky. Stuck around looked around the sky noticing more all over reminding me of the fleet over Mexico City.

Thought it was an airplane on fire until it stopped in midair for 20-30 sec b4 flickering out.

I was in my backyard around 8:30-9pm and I look up to the slight NE of my location and see what I think is an airplane going from East to West. It was moving slowly but the weird part was that it looked like it was on fire. I see planes all the time and know what flashing lights they have but this was way different.

I was wondering if a plane had an engine fire and was about to come down. It was flickering like a fire would as it headed West. Then it got really strange. It just stopped in its tracks and didn't move except for the fire like flickering. It stayed in this spot for maybe twenty seconds as I went into the house to get three others to come look at this. But by the time I went back outside with everyone (5 seconds or so) it was gone and it never reappeared.

Just to add one more thing. When it stopped I immediately thought it might be a helicopter but I quickly dismissed that because it was way too high up. But even if it was low enough for a helicopter I would still swear it wasn't one.

AT FIRST I THOUGHT SHOOTING STAR (METEOR), BUT IT WAS RATHER LARGE AND PRETTY SLOW. THE ONLY WAY I CAN THINK TO GIVE ANY KIND OF REFERENCE WOULD BE TO HOLD YOUR ARMS STRAIT OUT WITH INDEX FINGERS POINTED STRAIT UP, APPROX 8-9" BETWEEN FINGERS (FOR DISTANCE TRAVELED), AND APPROX 1/4 TH THE SIZE OF THE FINGERNAIL (FOR SIZE).

Just before walking into the house I looked straight up and saw a small white object which was moving very slowly in a N-NW direction. Rate of speed was such that the object took 15 minutes to travel from a point directly above me to a point @ 45 deg. N-NW where I lost sight of it due to haze in the atmosphere and wispy clouds moving in (very quickly the sky changed from nice and clear to grayish and scattered clouds).

The clouds came in from W-NW moving E-SE. I don't know if the wind at higher altitudes ever travels in opposite/different directions than the wind at lower altitudes. If it does, then the object could have been a balloon(s).

If it was traveling against the wind then I don't know what it could've been. I've never seen a satellite travel from SE to NW, but maybe there's one that does.

I did manage to snap one photo but it only adds confusion since the object in the photo appears to be four orange lights arranged like a + (plus sign) but so tightly packed that the general shape is circular. I don't know if this is what it really looked like or if this is some "digital camera anomaly" or a result of being improperly focused.

Anyway, I just wanted to put it on record in case anybody else saw it. Not a real big deal. Just a flying (silent) object that I could not identify.

PS. I did notice that when my camera was struggling to focus just before I pressed the button fully to snap the picture, the image in the viewfinder did all kinds of funny stuff, it showed a faint crescent shape that expanded and then a flash of light and then as it shifted the focus out toward infinity I just snapped it because I didnt think it was going to ever find it. (Hope that makes sense)

Began seeing only two lights up by the mountains then over the town. The lights would become dimmer and stronger and would separate and move close together. Progressively, more appeared throughout the hours. There were about 3 red/white lights and the others were just white- they all looked like stars. The white ones hovered though stayed in place whereas the red/white lights ziggzagged slowly up to the white stars then would move slowly in a circle around the white lights.

3 Stacked balls of light with rings of fire around them blinking red led type lights of the sides from the middle ball of light. UFO!!!

There were three of us in the car who witnessed the ufo in the sky. I first noticed traffic slowing down on the 210 freeway East around 8:30 PM. Then we saw it in the sky. Not to mention hundreds of other people on the 210 East freeway traveling the same direction as us saw it as well I'm sure it was hard to miss. It looked like three balls of light stacked on top of each other. Like fireballs with rings of fire around them. As we watched the lights shoot up and down in the sky unlike anything I've ever seen. Very fast and precise. Then it moved to the right and stopped, disappeared and then returned to the same place it started at. It blinked on and off a few times and then red led type lights appeared to beam hundreds of feet off the sides of the craft. It then started to turn clockwise blinking the red lights up into the sky and down towards the ground. We pulled over and stopped in the center of the freeway derider lane to watch it. Other cars and trucks did the same. As we exited the car the lights went behind a hill. Came into site again and then shot off to the south east and disappeared. My girlfriend who never believed in Ufo's or Aliens is now 100% a believer. My girlfriends friend was crying from what we were seeing. I am still having a hard time believing what I saw and I have always believed in other life and ufo's. Please contact me for further details and as I'd like to see it anyone else reported what we witnessed. Thank you. Don't think I'm nuts but I also have a photo of another UFO I took over a year ago. Please take a look at the speck of what looks like dirt above my dads head in the picture zoom in on it tell me what you think it is. large red circle (probably sphere) seen in broad daylight moving slowly and changing direction.

Out of the four or five objects that I have seen in my life that I could not identify, this event is the only one that I would not be able to replicate (if I were someone who wanted to make a UFO hoax) due to its distance, size, and actions. I'm only reporting this now because it was only recently that I remembered it. In other words, since the day it happened, I never thought about it or remembered it until about a year ago. This is one of two incidents that I had not recalled since they happened but the other incident was when I was a kid, where I woke up in the backyard around 1 am, my pajamas were damp as if I had been swimming with them on but I don't remember swimming in my pajamas, nor do I remember putting them on or going to bed. It was the night of my birthday and there was a birthday party that day but I don't remember my party at all and there was no sighting as far as I know. Neither one of these incidents should be easily forgotten but somehow they were until recently.

Anyway I was watering the grass in my front yard at about 1 pm in the afternoon on a very clear, sunny day. As I looked low in the sky to the West, I could see, through a clearing in the tall trees, something that looked just like a red traffic light which was hovering and perfectly centered between those trees. If you extend your arm and look at your index fingernail for perspective -- it was about that size, maybe a bit smaller.

I watched it for a while and then I took a few steps to the side so I could get some perspective as to how far away it was. I figured that the farther away it was, the quicker those trees between it and myself would block my view of it (just as you would move to the side if you were trying to see something but there's a person standing in front of it).

As I walked to the side I saw that the object was quite a distance away and only the side of it was now barely visible due to the tree blocking most of it from my view. as far as its size, it had to be many feet across since it appeared to be two to three miles away. I continued to water the lawn, but kept an eye on it as I tried to come up with a scenario that could explain a giant red light hovering in the sky during the middle of the day. Then, slowly, it moved sideways until it was in full view again, perfectly centered in the clearing between the trees.

The way it moved was really interesting because it moved like a rolling ball that was nudged. For instance, in a game of pool (or billiards depending on where you're from I guess) when you just barely tap the cue ball so it moves a half a foot -- That's how this thing moved, like it was tapped in that direction. So from a dead stop it instantly begins to move with no acceleration time noticeable, and then it slowly rolls to a stop right in the center of that clearing between the trees.

Now I'm thinking, "What the...?" So After 20 or 30 seconds I take a few steps in the other direction, causing my view of it to, once again, be obscured by the trees between it and myself, although I could see the red light twinkling through the tree. Within about 5 seconds the object, again as if it were nudged to the side, begins moving and rolls to a stop, perfectly centered between those trees.

Now I'm convinced that this thing is watching me and I drop that water hose and run inside to get a friend to come out and see this thing. Didn't take more than 15 seconds to return to the front yard with my friend, but when we got out there that thing was gone.

So, as I was saying, given the size and distance of the object I can't think of a way someone could create a hoax within those parameters.

1. It would not be cheap because a very large red light would have to be constructed, and it would have to be bright enough to see in the middle of the day. it would also have to be suspended quite high in the air a few miles away (which would, based on direction and viewing angle, probably put it in the flight path of Miro Field (Rialto Municipal Airport).

2. It would have to be equipped with a camera and controlled remotely if we are to believe that it was moving in order to have a better view of me. Such an elaborate hoax merely for the purpose of fooling one person would be so costly and pointless. Also I don't know of any means of remote control/propulsion that could cause it to move the way it did.

Also, on the form, I have checked "I would like to be contacted by and investigator" that is only to say that if someone has any questions I don't mind if they call/contact me and would be happy to speak with them. It's not a request for contact though because I know you're very busy.

This is not the fist time I have seen strange objects in the sky. I reported a sighting to George filer approx aug. 2002 along with photos that are still on his sight. It was extremely hot during week of 23rd july, 04 in rialto, ca and i could not sleep. So i went out to get fresh air at about 2 am when just above the mountains north of my house a huge and extremely bright light apearred. larger and brighter than anything i have seen in sky before except sun and moon. I watched this enormous and bright light with and without binoculars for an hour as it slowly traveled in a southern direction. on occasion there seemed to be a green glow surrounding light. it then began to fade to nothing and then reappear as bright as it was before and it continued this for about 5 minutes until disappearing completely. I did take several pictures from a camara that was in my company van for accident purposes. They have not been developed yet. Note that 1st sighting was offically investagated by mufon with no real answers.

My apologies for submitting this form twice but the first date I gave was wrong. It was a little over a year ago, in 1999, not 2000. sorry I've never thought of this as a UFO experience but I'm watching a UFO-sightings show on the Travel Channel and one of the things that people in the show had video taped in Florida is the exact thing that I saw from my backyard. I had borrowed a night vision scope from a friend and I was playing with it in my backyard just after the sun had set. I often look at the night-time sky and I live right under the approach path of Ontario airport. Looking north/north-west over my rooftop I saw a sputtering light which looked like something burning fiercely, like magnesium, but not as bright. It was moving too slowly (in my opinion) to be a jetliner, and it wasn't losing any altitude. When I saw it I wasn't looking throught the night-vision scope but the magnitude diminished quickly and I began using the scope which had magnification as well as light-amp. Through the scope I could see the sputtering light very well and before it stopped I saw at least two to three small flare-type objects fall from it. This is when I realized that the main thing was moving very slowly, like a blimp or something. The "flares" would vanish within a couple of seconds and were not nearly as bright as the main light, and shortly after they dropped from the main part the whole thing sort of faded away until nothing was visible through the scope or without the scope. I kept looking for something in that direction for 30-45 minutes and saw nothing.and at no time did I see any structure attatched to any of the lights. All of this, in my estimation, was taking place at about 2000 feet in altitude and I think about 20-30 miles away, possibly over the high desert to the northwest of Wrightwood. I must say however that my ability to estimate values, distances, and altitudes has never been great. I expected to see something in the paper the next day about a airplane/military accident or even on the news shows that night, but nothing ever came of it. So, there it is, I hope this helps. I would be more than happy to attempt to submit a mor! e detail ed report if you like. I'm only sorry I didn't think more of it when it happened, and I could draw from a fresh memory. Thanks. By the way, I was reading some of the local reports and there is one in Fontana about 10 years ago- a red light 300-500 feet up- stationary, as rain clouds passed by it didnt move...yadda yadda.. Myself and a buddy saw a bunch of people out of their cars in slight rain and looking up, so we stopped and saw that red light. But quite frankly think it was a light attatched to a kite or something.. but who knows.

We were in our spa. I noticed the strange craft, then showed it to my girlfriend, of whom then witnessed the entire event along with me. We use our spa at least every other night, so we are familiar the activities and the aircraft in our area. The round shaped craft approached from the west, headed eastward and going slow and was at a high altitude. It was a very bright green glow until it was overhead, and at this point, the four green lights were distinguishable and then completely came to a full stop. The lights on the craft went out and two red to blue lights illuminated. (two jets approached into the area) We noticed that the craft went dark and then we saw very bright sparks, like thruster sparks (red) shoot out and the craft , and then went from being still, to gaining altitude at an angle, and then it dissappeared into the sky.

I have previously submitted our report on the events that took place on Monday evening. A few people have spoken to me regarding this event that took place and we do not see why others shouldn't know the truth. We are comfortable knowing the truth of what we witnessed and have spoken to another individual who has also seen it, on the same night. I anticipate that there will be many others that have witnessed this but failed to report it through the lack of knowing what to do. We thank you for listening to us and am additionally glad that someone in Lake Wood saw it too. It confirmed what we reported to you that night and the direction that it came from (Los Angeles Area). I had to check the location out in a map the next day and was please for what I learned then.

I was coming back from a hotel I stay at, back to the place I'm renting. I stayed in hotel just for the night n I'm renting in a garage at a friend's house an some how I lost my key to the lock so I had a hammock in my van so I took it out put in front yard and I stared staring at sky and see nothing but but lights of spheres and there were some really high and also airplanes were passing by but they were lower and I could tell that it was a nerve playing but the lights fears were way too high and they're all going in One Direction.
