Driving home with my wife when we both saw a white circle appear moving quickly across the sky in front of us. It was definitely high in the atmosphere. Same color/shape as a satellite, but very large compared to any I have seen before, including the ISS. It was too slow to be a shooting star but too fast to be a satellite. Object then stopped abruptly and "hovered" in place for roughly 5-7 seconds before blinking then rapidly accelerating away. About 3 seconds after it disappeared an aircraft flew the same exact route as the light as if it was following it.

Disc shaped object with an orange light movig through the sky in a NE direction.

Object first appeared as a slow moving orange light. I first thought it was a plane but the light was orange and not flashing. Upon looking closer, I noticed it had a saucer type shape. It was moving slowly in a NE direction. A tree in my yard starting obstructing my view. In the couple seconds it took for me to move to the other side of the tree, it was gone.

Also of note, there was something large moving in the woods below my house as I was watching the light. I could hear some branches breaking and dry leaves rustling. This could have been a bear though since I do sometimes see them around here.

After seeing this, I called a friend and my cell phone was acting up. He said it seemed like what I was saying was being repeated several times in different voices.

Getting ready for work, I was looking out of my 3rd floor apartment window.

An orange type fireball craft was moving slowly across the city from one end of the sky to the other. It was growing brighter and dimmer as it went. It eventually appeared to move up through the clouds to my left.

I suppose it could have been a Chinese lantern, but hearing so much about these orange craft on Coast, I decided to report it.

Unexplained lights all over the area, lights change colors, move around, appear/disappear, orange fireballs

This is sort of hard to explain but I've been seeing ALOT of UFO activity in PA over the past several months. It started with seeing what I thought were stars start appearing that weren't normally there and they'd slowly move away but I never really thought much of it. It wasn't till early October that I saw them getting waaaay closer (orange fireball-esk balls flying around, flickering on and off, etc.) to the point where they appear at tree top level.

I have yet to see the crafts themselves but these lights are typically orange but change to a deep red and also light up to a blinding white. Another thing I've noticed is that you'll see 1 of the lights sitting there and then another one will appear out of nowhere, fly towards the other light and combine with it. Also, I've seen every once in a while you'll see one of the main lights(I say main light because it's lit up from sunset till when I wake up in the morning) move a little bit and all of these different lights will suddenly light up around the main light and be several different colors(red, white, and orange, all shimmering) and in the blink of an eye will just disappear. I have no idea what's going on but it's very interesting to say the least.

NOTE: Tonight(11/20/12) I saw several of the crafts were changing to there deep red hue(possibly signalling to each other?) and then two more crafts appeared, one being a bright light and the other being 3 white lights in a row, both of which slowly descending. They moved over toward where most of the other light/crafts/whatever are at and disappeared. I should add that all of this is occuring in a several different locations in rural parts of the area.

Object when first seen was a sphere of light, then as we were watching light disappeared then all that could be seen was a dark cigar shape object hovering in the sky in the same spot we had seen the sphere of light.

Fireball Reported From Various Locations of Pennsylvania

During the evening of 10-02-01, I received reports that fireball sightings were reported from Warren County, PA near the New York line. One witness I interviewed, said that she saw a huge blazing orange ball of fire moving north. During the evening I learned that other similar reports originated from Armstrong and Mercer Counties. I was also told that emergency centers near Youngstown, Ohio received many sighting reports. A resident of Allegheny County, near Pittsburgh, had knowledge that police in that area also received reports of something moving across the sky. I also interviewed a witness from Latrobe, PA in Westmoreland County, who watched a big orange-red ball of fire "as bright as the moon" followed by a glowing tail which tapered off in thickness. I am awaiting additional data concerning this event. I would appreicate being notified of any other fireball or aerial phenomena reported on this night from around the country.

flaming metalic ball which tail got longer

was driving down the road and seen a round metalic object soar across the sky in front of me and my wife.then it got a flaming tail on the end of it then just vanished.don't know what it was,first time i ever seen anything like that.thought maybe you might be able to tell me what it was.there was no sound or explosion of it hitting ground ,it just disappeared.was only about 50 feet above the trees,moving very fast.thought it was a plane crashing at the Latrobe airport but it wasn't.can you please look into this for me so i can settle my wife down.

Was this a ufo we saw or something else?

This was located in Latrobe at my place my boyfriend was smokeng a ciggeret outside while looking in the sky for stars. Mean while he saw a white light apearing from the distance it was bright as he exclaimed. My son was out there with hi at the time so the both saw this unbeliveable white light. He called me out of the house At this time I did see a white light then it it went in to a demetric like shape the light then turned red and started to move close toward us still in the distant sky above a chimney of the whte house beside the school house.It then stopped suddenly turn in to a white light and stood still. Then in about minute after the light turn red and desapeared.

it was not a craft I saw. i was lieing in bed and i heard a strange noise. it scared me so i stayed still and hoped it stop. it staed a the same itch ad then got softer. all of a suddn i felt this strong wind trying to flip me over. i couldn't move. it finally went away and my hands were clentched tightly to my sheets. it has happened three time. 2 at my house and once at my grandma's.

sound coming from under your feet , no matter where you walk near the consumes river.this was a humming sound ,varying pitch ,you could listen on the rock formations to confirm this. after we left we could not account for a lot of time we thought we were there. we then all had head pounding for the next few days.

followed these lights down a dirt road from a distance of about a half mile. they went around a small foothill,as we came around the hill we saw the last one go into what we thought was the side of the hill. we think it did just that due to ground vibrations we felt. also a smell of something like ozone was all around us . we kept feeling thumps and hearing sounds for at least 15 min. latrobe road & michigan bar road.
