A bright blue round object moving horizontally in the sky at a high speed.

I was walking with a friend and we were looking at airplanes taking off in the distance from the Long Beach Airport. When suddenly, we turned around and we saw a mysterious bright blue object appear in the night sky. It was North of The Los Alamitos Community Center.The flashing blue lights on the object was traveling horizontally. At first, it was moving like an airplane. But, then it started moving really fast to the right, then it stopped and the lights went out. It reappeared in the same location and moved horizontally to the left. Then it started to move right again at the high rate of speed. Then, the lights when out again, for about 10 seconds and came back on again and the object left the area.

First noticed the object at a standstill, later moving erratically followed by burst of extreme high speed fading and disappearing

I noticed the color of the object first, then it began to move erratically, at times disappearing and reappearing again. The Aqua Blue object would stop abruptly then take off at an extreme rate of speed. This went on for a few minutes before disappearing for a final time into the northeastern night sky.

2 large glowing orbs near the moon about 1/3 the size of the moon and a drone similar to the New Jersey drones low over a building

I heard aircraft type of noise, but it was different than normal aircraft. I live near joint forces training base, so we hear a lot of aircraft, and this was not like anything I had heard. I went outside to look and I saw a large drone, similar to the ones reported in New Jersey and around the world. It was hovering very low, about a block and a half away from me over buildings and moving up and down and forward. Behind me were two enormous orbs not far from the moon. They glowed white with yellow tint and flickered. They looked about 1/3 the size of the moon. I was afraid because I'd seen the many reports of drones and orbs so I went inside and did not take video.

My family and I were at a hotel in Orange County and enjoying the outdoor pool and hot tub when I noticed a weird white pearlescent object in the sky. At first it was just hovering and then as I began recording on my phone the object slowly became flatter and flatter until it completely disappeared. As I was recording my sister noticed there were jets seemingly chasing after the flying object. When the aircrafts got closer to it is when the disc disappeared.

Hovering orange-red object drops small glowing red balls, then changes into asymetrical object.

On the evening of November 18, 2014, at about 7:35 PM, I was walking outside my place of work (a business park), and noticed a bright orange-red colored light hovering in the night sky, maybe a half mile away. From the direction it was, it seemed to be in the airspace above the nearby Joint Forces airbase at Los Alamitos.

At first I thought the light was a helicopter, as they fly in and around the airbase quite often, day or night. But at this time, I saw no other air traffic going or coming from the airbase.

After maybe 20-30 seconds of watching the hovering red light, which made no noise, as a helicoptwer would have, it began to drop small red balls of glowing light (or a glowing red-hot material?) I thought that this might then be a chinese lantern, but it hovered in one exact spot, not drifting left or right, and dropping about 5-6 of the glowing 'red balls' (which dissappeared after falling halfway to the ground).

After 4-5 minutes of observing the above, the 'object' or orange red light then went out - but a few moments later, I saw a non-symetrical object there in the same spot in the sky, very dimly lit from the city lights below, which slowly moved in a North-Westerly direction, and seemed to slowly lose altitude. I lost sight of it after 30-40 seconds, as it was too far or low to see clearly anymore, now traveling behind a building and trees across the street from my location.

I also thought the object was a silent drone, but the asymetrical object that I saw at the end of my sighting was definitely not a drone, or a chinese lantern, or any flare - the shape was so strange I can barely even describe it. And the usually busy airbase (helicopters, etc.) was absent of other air traffic before or after the sighting of the object - like they might have been watching it too, and did not want to interact with whatever 'it' was (my own guess here, of course).

Red orb near Orange County, CA military airfield.

While driving westbound, we noticed an extremely bright, glowing, red orb with an extremely bright yellow or white light directly in the center. It appeared to be at least a couple of miles away. Given the number of aircraft in the skies normally, we were wary to assume it was a UFO as we have had false alarms before. However, this orb was at least three times brighter than even airliner headlamps, and did not dim, twinkle, or flash despite changing directions several times. We could not specify exactly where it was over, but it seemed to be near the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station or the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base/Airfield.

The orb seemed to float around lazily, then began to slowly make its way north. We lost sight of it behind a house for approximately 2-3 seconds. Once we realized it had vanished, I pulled to the side of the road to get out and look for it. It was no where to be seen despite being able to see air traffic against the hills 12 miles to the north and ten miles south to the coast. A couple of seconds later a blackhawk helicopter flew by overhead speeding in the direction of the light not in the direction of the airfield. (I say speeding because I've seen quite a few flying away and toward the airfield and this one was MUCH louder and flew by overhead much faster than usual.)

Two lights came from one then all three ascened out of sight!

One light ascending seperated in to three then ascended slowly out of sight. Up and out into outer space it seemed. The whole event lasted about 5 min.

"Phoenix Lights" duplicate formation scenario!

Upon returning from the grandparents home after dinner Easter evening...

our family including two children ages 6 & 16, all witnessed a perfect half-circle of golden-somewhat blinking lights approximately exactly like the "Phoenix Lights" phenomon a few years back. The appeared in the post sunset sky as well as after dark. They hovered and did not move (except one did a little) for this period. We got home and watched the UFOs in the middle of the street. Then we went inside to get a camara. Unbeleivably once we got the camera and went back they were ALL gone! (first UFO sighting by all)

This one has bin seen before it has 4 spheres.

This is in regard to the oject seen and reported on 3/29/04 on your home page today 3/30/04. This 4 sphere ufo was seen a few years ago over the military reserve base here in los alamitos. (Just thought this was interesting.) I saw this along with 3 other people, 2 of us looked at this object through a monocular. The way it is discribed is very close to what we witnessed, but for one thing the obect we saw changed in the number of spheres from 4 to 3. Also this was moving into the wind and out over the ocean,(NOT BALLOONS).

Goodyear Blimp turns into UFO.

Looked to the southern sky and saw Goodyear blimp approximately 100 feet away. Very clear what it was. Saw grid pattern of hull. Seemed to have an aura of light about it. As I watched it, sharp image started to get fuzzy and aura seemed to concentrate in the nose of craft which was triangle shaped. Blimp faded away and triange shot across sky to southwest. Moments later, two helicopters from Los Alamitos Air Force Reserve Center, circled area and moved off in same direction as object. Contacted AFRC later and they denied any sightings. Contacted Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station with info. They called back and taped description of sighting. Said that I had seen something and verified that their guys had seen it too. Said some details were very interesting and they would be back in contact with me. Never heard from them again.

Large red orb with bright red light orbiting around it like radar hovered above me at @100 ft in the air then flew at incredible speed.

In 1968, in Los Alamitos, CA, I was waiting out in the car for my mom to finish a quick visit to a neighbor. I was 14. It was night and it was winter. A ll of a sudden I just became aware of a massive deep sound like a sine wave going up down up in pitch. I looked around and saw nothing. Then I leaned forward and looked up from the front seat. Hovering above me was a craft. I got out of the car, excited but also intimidated. I stood between the open door of the car, one hand on the car and one on the door. In the air directly above me was a large bright laser red orb, about the size of a small house, about 100 ft up in the air. Orbiting around it was the same bright red light which looked just like radar - it circled the orb, then there would be a fraction of a second when there was a gap, then it blipped on again and orbited around again. Just like how radar looks on the screen. No wind. No exhaust. And though the sound was massive it didn’t hurt my ears or rumble my intestines. Also, this was a heavily populated suburban tract and although the sound was huge, no one was running out of their houses to see what was going on. My mom and sister had finished their visit and came outside and started yelling excitedly. Her friends followed her out. All loudly responding to this thing. This happened in a matter of minutes. Then it took off straight up to a very distant height and from my perspective it was now small as my fingernail. In just seconds it went that high. It hovered way up there for a few seconds, then flew down into the distance and I couldn’t see anything because it was below the level of the houses. Then a few seconds later it took off at a specific angle, like 45 degrees, and moving at tremendous speed it climbed into the sky using the entire expanse from my view, until it was up and out of sight. There were multiple jets in the sky at the time and they looked like they were moving as fast as tricycles compared to th! is thing. We lived near a Naval Air Base. The brightness of th! is craft was glowing so that it only looked like light, similar to a lightbulb, where you can see the glow but not the glass.

I was directly below it with a belly up view and that is how I know the orbiting thing wasn’t a single entity, but a radar type energy orbiting dizzyingly fast around the orb.
