Strange light seen in-between freeway exits and wetlands

I was driving home from work on Northbound I-5 and got off on the Laguna Blvd exit. I always look to the left off me which is part of the Cosumnes River Preserve for any wildlife. Of course, it was almost 7pm and dark outside. It's a force of habit for me just to look in that direction for a few seconds as I'm turning with the road away from the interstate.

Like I said, it's dark and I can't see any wildlife. However, a strange glowing light caught my eye. It was orange and I'm not completely sure if it was an orb, because the illumination had a fuzzy look to it. The orange object seemed to be still and hovering either over the tree line or the Sacramento River. Possibly the orange object could've been over the small town of Courtland. I'd say the distance between myself, and this object was probably a quart of a mile. The distance from the ground to the object in the sky was maybe 100 feet.

I've become a sky watcher ever seen my first UFO sighting with my grandpa back in 1993.

A couple days later, I texted a friend of mine from church about this sighting.
We typical talk about UFO's and Cryptids after church. He wasn't at church that Sunday, which is why I texted him my sighting.

I've never seen an orange light in the sky before until now.

We saw one orb appear at what seems a very high altitude followed by another orb appear in the blue of the sky. There were no flashing lights however the color changed from white to pinkish red then slowly moved until out of sight.

White object in totally clear sky. Moving strangely. Not a plane. And not a loose balloon!

I have seen and documented things flying around above elk grove for 20+ years. More in the past 2 years as I have started paying attention more. Today was different, almost nightly you will see white balls moving. Some fast some slow. Not planes and not any satellite I've ever seen. I've shown them to multiple people. I am also not actively hunting or looking. I see this when I'm walking to my house after parking or out front smoking a cigarette. I have never seen in broad daylight though. Few hrs ago. Blue sky day, no clouds, I went out to have a smoke. I look up and see a plane moving east. I'm facing east. We'll off to the left of the plane I see a little white ball. First thought it was a party balloon. But then it 90 degree turned left and it startled me. Then I got out my phone. I have the galaxy 23 ultra. Best camera on a phone. My zoom takes high res moon pics ok. I zoomed in at 200x just to see what it was and it was a sphere and was moving strange hard to keep track. That's where I snapped a few pics then switched to video. You can tell how zoomed in I am due to the size of my neighbors roof shingles and it helps see its movement since I'm surrounded by 2 story homes. Object was not a party balloon. It was massive. Much higher up than I thought originally too. At least commulercial jet height. It darted off behind the roof and I lost it. Then it reappeared to the right again and went back again behind the roof and I lost it. Tried running upstairs to a window but it was gone. It had incredibly speed and was able to change direction instantly. Absolutely amazing sight to see.

Parallel lights in east nearly overhead

First, I looked on line to locate a UFO site to make a report, I became discouraged as the sites I found seemed to be complicated and had their own agenda. A couple of days ago my wife was talking to a friend who is retired from US Navy Intelligence telling my incident and she said look again on line and make a report. So, I located your site.

On December 2 2021, 620pm I walked to our community mailbox a few houses from ours and across the street. This is in a northwest direction.

Upon getting our mail and walking to return home in a southeast direction I normally look to the south and observe the exisiting planets and stars if visible. This night a couple of planets were visible, I believe Jupiter and Saturn. I then scanned toward the east above the two-story homes and slightly overhead. What caught my eye was an object in this direction (east) appeared to be 6 to 8 white lights in two parallel rows, it is now 624pm (according to the camera phone photo). I stopped to observe the lighted object. I could not tell if this was one object or multiple. As tight as the lights were, I would say one object. Absolutely no sound or blinking lights were observed from this object. I tucked the mail under my left arm, took my phone out with my right hand, activated the phone and snapped a photo which of course it turned out blurry since I had the phone camera in an exposure mode that delayed completion of the photo. I should have activated the video. As this was happening, from the east - northeast we had a very high layer of cloud cover approaching the object.
I trotted to the house to get my wife to step out to the back patio and observe this, however the object was gone or hidden by the cloud cover.

Total observation time was 1 minute.

My wife looked on the site Next Door to see if any reports of lights had been reported, none have been.

Fast moving large rectangle craft flying North to South over Sacramento, CA, in the night sky

On the evening of Friday, July 26th, 2019, I was out in my side yard just South of Sacramento California. It was close to midnight and dark, with normal light pollution for my area. I was facing North when I saw above me in my peripheral vision something moving fast in my direction. I looked up and saw a very large rectangle moving very fast approximately North to South over Sacramento and it continued its course until I could no longer see it in the distance (was still heading South).

It crossed almost directly over my head at what seemed to be above a normal airplane altitude but spanned the distance of the entire sky in approximately 8 seconds from the time I first saw it. I don’t know how fast that is but it made the F-22 Raptor I’ve seen near Fresno seem sluggish, cumbersome, and awkward flying in comparison. It traveled effortlessly, was a light color, possibly silver or a light grey—I could see it in the dark but it had no lights on at all—and it also made no sound. The rectangle was approximately the shape of a stick of gum. I’d guess about a 3 to 1 ratio with no other form to it and it went forward in width rather than length wise.

I wish I knew more but I only had enough time to think I would Google it to find out what it was. In doing so I found no explanations for what it could be besides a UFO. I was elated after seeing this, it was a pretty wonderful sight. The only thing I can think is Beale Air Force Base up North but again I found no satisfying information on the internet.

UFO does maneuvers in No. California sky.

I was sitting on my back patio enjoying a cigar and watching the northern sky above Sacramento. The sky in the distance was partially overcast.

I watched the periodic aircraft and then noticed one object with a red and yellow light moving slowly. It was 10-15 degrees above the horizon.

Suddenly it picked up speed and then started making maneuvers in approx. 10 degrees of air space. It would slow and speed up and then do complete reversals at hi speed. It then dropped below my line of sight.

I might add that this object was in the far distance as it went behind clouds periodically.

I am a retired electronic engineer.

Shiny metallic flying object carrying a second green triangle shaped object

At 6:50 pm, my wife and I were in our backyard discussing Mexican food, when I looked up and saw at approximately 900-1000 feet high an odd looking object that was definitely not a plane or a helicopter and appeared to be carrying a triangle shaped second object.

The main object (don't know what else to call it) was very shiny and appeared to be metallic. The top of the object resembled the shape of the letter S if it were faced backwards and seemed to have several strange cable like “arms” that were attached to and carrying the second object.

My wife also saw the object and also was in awe and not sure what top make of it.

We watched it travel in an awkward zig-zag pattern heading North-East as it gained altitude for about 2 minutes, until it was at a out of site.

Shortly after, an airplane flew overhead in the direction of the strange flying object.

I took a few pictures with my phone and a short video, which I will attach.

Hello Peter Davenport, My husband and I listen to you on Coast to Coast AM.

The other night, we smelled smoke and went outside to look around in doing so I looked up at the sky and noticed a strange twinkling what I thought was a star, suddenly above shot a white light across the night sky.

My husband ran to get our binoculars and night vision goggles. We started looking and saw a few twinkling spots and through the binoculars there was blue, green, red, orange lights flashing on what I assumed was a alien craft.

This evening we went outside and saw the same twinkling lights and as I looked I counted 11 crafts some of which the colors flashing brightly without any binoculars. With binoculars and night vision goggles we could see all the lights, our neighbors also stood outside with us looking at the many crafts scattered across the night skies.

These crafts are very high in the skies sitting still as can be and completely silent.

There were a few helicopters and airplanes what I could only guess to be investigating what we are witnessing take place. It's truly an incredible site to see the skies above covered in UFO's.

I hope you find this information useful and I hope others have the pleasure of witnessing this amazing site as well.

Cylinder Object Seen In Elk Grove Sky.

At 7:15 to 7:45 pm pst on April 9, 2017, observed one dark colored object in northern sky in Elk Grove/ Sacramento, Ca, area below cloud cover maintaining a stationary position. The object was dark grey in color, cylinder shaped, flat bottom and cone top with flat top. Stayed in the 2 O'Clock position for 30 minutes then began moving very slowly to the west.

After it moved behind several tall trees blocking our vision, it never came into sight again, and at sunset, nothing more could be seen.

These orbs or spheres are appearing from the West side of Hood Franklin near interstate 5 and have been seen for the last hour. I have videos and pictures of object. They appear orange red and as it crosses over bilby road they disappear in color but I was able to still track in the air as a dark object because of the moon light.

First, one bright yellowish-white light pops up in sky, then quickly "falls" downward until stopping abruptly. It hovered in place for about a minute until another bright circular light popped up close to it. The second one hovered in place until a third popped up. The three were in a triangle formation for about a minute.

Then the first one flew away. The other two remained still until a fourth popped up. All were the same color and size and brighter than airplane lights or stars. They then vanished one by one.

2 high altitude objects perform amazing maneuvers

4th of July watching the fireworks we were naturally looking at the sky. I witnessed a bright object that resembled a satellite crossing the sky at a high rate of speed at a very high altitude. The object suddenly came to a complete stop before scooting off and stopping again in sudden short bursts. It made several sudden 90 degree turns and twists as it continued to move in short bursts of speed. It then stopped the erratic movements and sped off at a very high speed across the sky and out of site.

Approximately 30 seconds after the first object disappeared out of site a second object that looked identical to the first object appeared from the same general location as the first object and performed a very similar series of short burst maneuvers as the first as it travelled the same path and like the first object eventually disappeared out of site leaving myself and my fiancé baffled as to what we had witnessed.

06/01/16 1:00pm. sighted two very large aircraft 1 flying due east to west 2nd due north to south. Both off white, not markings side or botto. I could see someting red on upright tail fin, not able to identify marking. Both planes were releasing white plumes from the REAR of the plane not from the engines on the wings. Planes looked to be much larger than the largest transport plane I saw at USAF Travis air force base, Ca. Sighted 9 other chem trails released earlier. After 3.5 hrs) I could still see outline of where releases took place. The UFO part of this report is the unkn planes orgin and the unkn release from the rear of these planes. Also, maybe unrelated or not the previous Thurs I saw many long white spider looking webs drifting past my home. Picked one that landed with a stick, touched it, not a web! Material looked like a soft plastic type material. Appeared to be in slim spikes sticking all over, didn't loose shape when touched???? Not like your normal UFO sightings but very strange none the less. Thank You for your time.

6 - 7 peach colored craft moving easterly direction. Sacramento area. Midnight 2016 New Years

On December 31st/January 1st very close to midnight while traveling south on Ca. Hwy 99, from Sacramento to L.A..

Just south of Sacramento, about Elk Grove area.

I noticed 6 to 7 light peach colored, illuminated objects in the sky.

Moving in a Easterly direction.

Having been in the Air Force and seeing many air shows at first I thought they were a formation of military helicopters, they were moving about that speed.

Slow and steady. They did not appear to be that high up (less than a mile. Maybe a half to 3/4). Being night time it was difficult to tell. Also, being in a big rig and on a hwy it was not possible to tell by sound (too noisy). For that same reason I could not tell if it made any noise.

The formation was very odd as well. One I've never seen before.

4 points to make a square, then one above to form what would look like the pitch of a house.

Then another 3 times the length out from there. Pointing in the direction it was going. East, north easterly.

I've been a night driver for many many years. I've never seen anything like this before.

My gut feeling was this was not E.T..

I did not stop for a better look. So I could not tell if this was one object with lights or several objects (by seeing if there was a star field between them). They moved in perfect unison.

I watched them for about a min before they and I passed beyond my windshield view.

The color of the lights were very odd. Like no color I've ever seen on a flying craft.

Not red nor orange. More like a faint peach color. Or a spot light turned down very low (color wise) yet the light was very illuminated. Having flown and taken lessons planes have two colors. One on each wing. Red and blue or blue green. White lights forward. Never peach.

I thought about a blimp for New Years, that's possible, but I sure could not make out its message? For what it's worth. Much further south out around hwy 41 and 46 on both hwy 99 and Interstate 5 we have many night time crop dusters that you can get all kinds of crazy light formations (not different colors) because they fly in very weird positions to prepare for crop dusting in a very short span. My point. UFO sightings in those areas are more likely crop dusters than anything else. This or these were definitely not a crop duster.

Silent bright object sending out luminous beams and mist in 's' and hourglass shapes.

We saw what we thought was a police helicopter spotlight over the open fields south of Poppy Ridge Road, maybe half a mile away, but there was no sound at all. The sky is clear, but the light appeared as though it was shining into a mist in a cone shape from this round spot. We then thought maybe it was an airplane's landing light.

It was moving from south east to west, northwest. Judging speed is difficult because I couldn't clearly determine the object's size or distance.

But it went from a point due south of our house to a point directly west in the 3-4 minutes when we lost it in the trees.

The object, after we initially saw it looked very much like a comet, with a very bright, distinct "tail". That's when I thought it was a meteor which would burn out (baffling, because it seemed so close at first).

I grabbed my binoculars from the truck and looked at it, as it sent out an "s" shaped wisp of smoke or something and then an hour glass shaped illuminated smoke or something, emanating from the small round point. This happened over a period of maybe thirty seconds and it repeated this several times-I'm not sure they were at precise intervals.

I am absolutely sure others looking at the sky in this area at this time would have seen it.

Another thought I had was that it might be a multi-stage rocket, but traveling in this direction makes no sense.

Multiple satellite-like craft with light beams over Elk Grove/Sacramento.

Was watching what I thought was a satellite, but shortly after I noticed it, it flashed a very bright flash (very eye catching if looking even slightly up).

I called three other adults on the patio to watch. We watched it slowly cross above and it flashed a very bright flash again. It did this only twice and began to fade away into the big dipper (south to north).

Suddenly, there was another trailing behind it. Again it looked like a satellite on a straight course. While watching this one it suddenly JUMPED ahead and caught up with the other one covering a vast space in the blink of an eye.

Then there was a third, then a fourth, then a fifth, then a sixth, in succession, spread out with many miles beteween them and all traveling south to north in the same line. At times they stopped and displayed a bright "light" ray coming out of them in a search-like mode. The light moved around. It didn't just flash once.

Fast moving star like ufo stops its course, lights up bright then shoots straight up.

Sitting outside watching the night sky when I noticed what I thought at first was a sattelite. This thing appeared and was moving rather swiftly toward the South West. The altitude seemed pretty high which is why I thought at first it was a sattelite but it was moving too fast. A few seconds after I began watching this thing it stopped, zig zagged back and forth a couple times then lit up extremley bright with a very white light which made it also appear larger in size. Right after it lit up all bright it changed direction and quickly started heading back in the direction it had just came from, stopped again then shot straight up and out of sight at incredible speed. This was absolutly not a sattelite or any conventional air craft. It was also silent and made no noise.

Small Orange Sphere seen near Sacramento.

We were heading south down Grantline road in Elk Grove at 730pm.

The object was headed north back towards Sacramento, it passed right over our car at about 100 feet.

It was a small orange/yellow sphere. Looked to have a lite haze around it.

No idea what it was. Never seen anything like it.

It looked half the size of the full moon in the night sky. Kind of a hazed orange/yellow glow. Since it was night I could not truly tell how high it was in the air. Seemed to be between 100 and 200 feet and rising slightly I know for sure it was not an airplane or helicopter and lasted too long to be a flair. It also moved in a linear path and seemed to be rising slightly as it went south to north from east Elk Grove toward Sacramento.

Bright object flashes then shoots across the sky.

I was outside talking on the phone when I noticed from the corner of my eye what I initially thought was a really bright star or a planet. It caught my attention because it was much lower than all of the other stas and was also ALOT brighter. It had kind of an orange glow to it. It was pretty low right over the houses too.

As soon as I noticed it this thing lit up BRIGHT. It looked similar to when you see the fireworks on 4th of July when they set those one off that just make a huge flash followed by that really loud deep boom only there was no boom. It just flashed big and bright then too off at warp speed. It litteraly went up and to the South East direction and out of sight in less than a second. It did leave a strange kind of trail when it left that left a streak across the sky that lasted a second or too but dissapeared quickly. I noticed also that after the flash there was what looked almost like gold sparks falling from the spot the object left from.

Within minutes of the occurance several military type jets and a helicopter were circling the area where the object was.

Bright star like circular object shoots across the sky at amazing speed

After witnessing several sightings this month I was watching the sky from my backyard for a few minutes before going to bed. Once again I saw something different than I've seen before and something I cannot explain. While looking towad the South East a bright star like object appeared from no where and grew extremly bright then shot across the sky heading Northe West at an amazing speed. It left a trail behind it as it went obver head. It looked almost like a meteor only it was flying straight across the sky instead of travelling downward. It kind of looked like it could be a missle almost since it travelled so fast but it made no sound whatsoever. It lasted about 5-6 seconds before it dissapeared out of site. It was NOT a falling star or a meteor so I am calling it a ufo.

Bright star like object moves fast before stopping and immiting bright white light

I have been witnessing frequent unexplained phenomenon since 4th of July 2013 in the sky above Elk Grove, Ca. It started in Elk Grove Park while watching the fireworks when a family sitting on the lawn area in front of my family began pointing up to the sky before the fireworks started. We looked up and saw the same type of unexplained phenomenon that I have been seeing virtually every night since.

On this particular night 7-12-2012 after seeing 6 flying orbs the previous night I stepped into my back yard at approximately 10 pm anticipating to see some more action and again they appeared. I looked up and initially saw only stars then out of nowhere what at first appeared to be a satellite grew very bright with an intense white light as it moved in a North East Direction.

The moving light pulsed several times before dimming out then disappearing. 4 minutes later what at first appeared to look like an airplane due to a much lower altitude appeared from ! the south and as it flew overhead lit up several times almost as if it were pulsing with an immense bright white light. It generated no sound as it flew over and right when it was directly overhead it came to a slow crawl as it lit up immensely again as if it recognized I was looking at it.

I took out my video phone but was unable to catch it on video due to the low battery on the phone. After stopping and lighting up extremely bright it continued on its original path before disappearing out of sight.

Due to all the recent activity around here I am beginning to wonder if these crafts are related to Beale AFB as they seem to travel to and from the general direction of the base.

These are definitely not conventional aircraft or satellites.

6 bright star like objects moving fast in the night sky

At approximately 9:45pm on 7-10-2013 I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and make a phone call and looked up to admire the night sky when I saw what I thought at first was a satellite heading South East in the night sky.

I noticed the “satellite was much brighter than others I had seen and was also traveling much faster than others I have witnessed. Just as I was thinking all of this it quickly changed directions and began travelling south while picking up speed. It was very bright and the light pulsated twice before coming to a complete stop then lit up extremely bright then disappeared.

Just as it disappeared two more similar objects appeared in the sky but this time they were headed from the west heading east and were flying one directly behind the other but displaying the same flight pattern as the previous object.

These objects were also quite fast and ended changing direction again to end up in the same approximate location as the first object! when they too came to a complete stop, lit up extremely bright then disappeared. All together there were six objects all identical to the first and all stopped at the same approximate location in the night sky before lighting up very bright then disappearing.

I’m not sure what these objects were but they definitely were not conventional aircraft and definitely were not satellites.

Preface: there are plenty of commercial planes, private planes, military planes and helicopters with Sac Int Airport, military, and small craft airports around, and I have seen enough to recognize this as none of the above. There were planes in the sky at this same time. Head-on, you may see a very bright light, but they always show flashing, colored lights at some point in their flight. I was intentionally sitting out back by the pool watching the sky, with the hope of seeing a UFO on the 4th of July.... again. I saw a similar one (not quite the same... 4 lights under one vehicle) 2 years ago, but did not look long for one last 4th of July. This sighting consisted of a bright light coming out of the south, directly at me, in the far distance.

After a few seconds I could see that it wasn't one light, but two. When I could see the clear separation between the lights, I watched as the vehicle slowly turned 90 degrees to the east (as the two lights merged into one with the turn), proceeded a short distance east, stopped for a few seconds (as to watch some fireworks below?), slowly backed up and turned onto the original flight path (as one light again became two), then continued almost directly over me at a fairly low altitude (lower than any passing commercial jet and somewhere close to single engine private plane low to medium altitude). It was silent and flying faster than any plane, jet or prop, but not super fast. It continued to the northwest and disappeared toward the big dipper at a constant rate of speed. I estimate the total time I saw it from horizon to horizon was about a minute. No plane that we have would clear that distance in that time at that low altitude and not make a sound.

A long bodied object hovered in the air over Elk Grove, too high in the sky to be a chopper. The object hovered up and down and side to side.

The object had what appeared to be white lights along the body approx 3 in a row from my vantage point, but as it moved, various different colored lights flickered around it. It stayed in on spot for over and hour and has gradually moved down the horizon but is still there now (22:34) My 2 housemates also viewed the occurence along with me. We attempted to take video but did not have a camera with that range of zoom available.

2 Craft seen in Elk Grove, Ca. Defying inertia and gravity with no sound. Seen by USMC Scout/Sniper

To Whom It May Concern, I make this report of sound mind and sound health. I was a USMC Scout/Sniper from 1988 to 1994. I served in Kuwait and Liberia. I consider myself to be a highly trained observer. Thursday,January 24th I was tired from work and I fell asleep at 7 pm. I woke up at 2 am and I decided to make a cup of coffee. So, after 7 hours of good sleep and a nice big cup of hot coffee I decided to take a walk to a local park approximately 1,500 meters from my home. I live in a beautiful suburb of Sacramento,Ca. Elk Grove, Ca is south of Sacramento. I reside in the southern portion of the city of Elk Grove, Ca.

I have, for the last 60 days, been repeating this very same routine. I generally sleep from 7 or 8 pm to 2 or 3 am. I am a professional Sales Manager for a local Elk Grove company and I have clients on the east coast. I start work on my laptop, contacting clients in Rochester, New York at 4 am my time and 7 am Rochester time.

The distance from Elk Grove to Sacramento is 17 miles or 27 kilometers.

To give an accurate location I used my GPS that comes standard on my cell phone which is a top of the line "Samsung Galaxy III"... Please note from paragraph 1 that I am a trained Scout / Sniper from the USMC. I know what I saw and with that said I place the following report: At 3:15 am I was standing in a local park in south Elk Grove. The park is called "Machado Dairy Park" and is 1.0 miles south of Whitelock Pkwy and approx .2 miles west of Bruceville Rd.

I was standing in the park about ready to sure-up one of the laces on my boots when I was drawn to some rather odd looking lights in the sky. Traveling North to South, from Sacramento to Elk Grove I saw 2 craft that were delta shaped, but with the middles cut out resembling more of a chevron type structure. These 2 craft were darting about the sky at fantastic speeds. They were making right angle turns and skipping about as if they were on water. I know enough from my training in the Marine Corps that these 2 craft were definitely intelligently controlled. It had rained out yesterday,Thursday, here in Elk Grove and in Sacramento quite heavily and there was a lot of water on the grass in which I was standing. I was going to lie down on the ground and try to quiet my body for a more accurate description because I knew in an instant that what I was observing was something very special.

So, I overcame the wet ground and quickly got into a prone position on my back , I was positioned north to south. The objects displayed a disregard for inertia: They were flying as if there was no such thing as gravity. They sped up, then stopped, then flew at a tremendous speed, in my direction, so that to me they (appeared to be) standing still. The next instant they changed course. ... In other words, the flying objects had overcome gravity. The objects were making no sound that I could hear and were about 1000 ft above my head with a visible ceiling of 3,000 ft. I could at one instance see another flying object traveling east to west at about 15,000 to 20,000 ft and it had all the typical lights that one would see on a passenger jet ( i'm 100% sure that's what it was). Quite frequently I see passenger aircraft because I believe that I reside under the approach corridor for Sacramento's airport. I see a lot of aircraft and I know without a shadow of a doubt that these 2 ob! jects were not of this earth, or better yet, if they are, they displayed a secret technology that has been very well kept from the people of this planet. I have my own opinion on that and do not wish to cloud the issues at hand.

At one point the craft were speeding up and stopping so quickly that it was as if they would disappear and then reemerge (appear) at another point in the sky. I could see 3 faint lights at the tip or points of each craft. They were a gun metal black and looked to be perfect in shape. A perfect triangle with and angle of 60 degrees at each tip. Equilateral or Delta I believe. The 2 craft then just quickly sped off in a western direction and within mere seconds were gone from my vantage point. I then quickly ran home and went upstairs and grabbed my binoculars (Vortex 8 x 42 Razor HD ) & my spotting scope (Leopold Tactical Mark 4 12-40x60mm mil-dot ). Upon my return I did not see the 2 craft again. I spent another 40 minutes scanning the skies with my binoculars and my scope. I just saw the usual aircraft for that time of morning. I plan to search the skis later tonight after work with my set of night vision because now I am "hooked" as they say.

3 Orbs Appear Amongst Fireworks

I was observing New Years fireworks over a man-made lake surrounded by homes when in the middle of the fireworks display three orange orbs appeared.

At first I thought they were part of the fireworks, but they never exploded and continued to remain in the sky well after the fireworks completed.

They were in a line similar to Orion's Belt, then they maneuvered into a triangle. They remained in the sky for approximately 3 minutes, then faded away.

Saw a bright light in the blue sky during the afternoon and the light "turned" and I saw the side of "it" and the &

On the way home after work, southbound I-5. The skies were completely blue. We were on the stretch of I-5 where there was nothing around but fields of grass and farmland. With this setting, there are no clouds and there were no tall buildings or city light.

I think I saw a ((deleted)) UFO.

So I'm driving and I'm just looking into the distance and I spot a really bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was just a plane, but I've never seen a plane with that bright of a light during the daytime when the sun's still out, especially with how far it was. Then I thought it was just a really bright star. I pointed it out to my girlfriend and she saw it, too, and we joked that it was a shooting star. I kept my eye on it because I was still puzzled at the fact I could see a "star" during the daytime in the bright blue sky.

Then, all of a sudden, it was it turned sideways, and I couldn't see the light anymore, but I could see the side of it. Since it was far away, it just looked like a dot. Then, with the blink of an eye, it was gone. The dot was gone and the light was gone. My girlfriend and I were confused.

We were staring into the distant sky trying to spot the "dot" or the "star" we thought we saw, but it just wasn't there. It was gone, like it was never there.

My head hurts from trying to convince myself that it wasn't a UFO and trying to convince myself that it was. I really think it was...

Orange Orbs

I was leaving a store around 8pm and looked up for the moon. I noticed orange/yellow pulsating lights ascending from the north/east part of the sky. First I thought they were the street lights but there were too many of them and they were forming patterns, there were about 12 orange/yellow orbs. They were orange in the middle and yellow around them. They looked like pulsating balls of energy. I watched them for for five minutes across the street before calling my wife. I told her to go outside and look east but her view from our home was obstructed and too far away. They formed into two circle patterns and then broke away from each other and then reformed into two circles again. I watched them for another 5 minutes and came home. I grabbed the video camera and went back to the store, all but two had left. I tried to record them but they wouldn't show up on the camera. And then a few minutes later they both extinguished. Also when I arrived back for the second time there was an ambulance and firetruck in the parking lot where I had seen them and the paramedics had loaded someone into the ambulance. The orbs had been right over where the ambulance and firetruck were and I'm not sure if that was just a coincidence. My feeling of the objects was just amazement and awe.

After this happened I posted my sighting on the Mufon website. Well on November 7 I had another experience. I was at the store the same store where I had first saw these orbs and went to swipe my rewards card and all 4 of the self checkouts simultaneously froze. I didn't think anything of it but then about ten minutes later I was at a drive through restaurant and saw one singular orb, the same color and distinction as the previous ones. I went to ask a group of people if they saw it too, turned around and it was gone. Now this was bizarre. When I told my wife she became concerned and told me that the only way to get rid of them is through prayer and she prayed that they will leave me alone. Haven't seen anymore, but I am still curious. I don't know what the hell they were. I didn't follow up with Mufon because it is scary and I don't want any investigation as to what they are, I don't think that I want to know. Someone said they could be plasma balls controlled by magnetism, but I'm not sure what I believe or who is responsible.

Saturday, June 2, 2012 Elk Grove, CA 9:20 PM -9:22 PM While I was watching TV, I saw a bright red-orange ball of light through my living room window. There was absolutely no noise.

I thought it was a reflection from my TV onto the window at first. I then realized that it was in the sky. This orb seemed to be levitating. It proceeded from south or south-east to north-east.

I ran back inside after watching it a moment to grab binoculars. On closer look, though it had traveled a considerable distance in just a short time, I was able to see green flashing lights.

Four round, lit craft flyhing in a low, v formation over Elk Grove, Ca.

I am a 59 year old IT specialist. I have never seen and reported a UFO before. This is the 4th of July.

The fireworks ended about 9:50 PM (and were a long way away and not visible at all where we were due to the height of the houses and the distance to the fireworks (2 to 3 miles).

At 10:25 PM, I was in the pool with my girlfriend and I was looking up at the sky saying how great it is in California to see meteorite showers and other such things in the night sky because the sky is always clear in the summer in California (as opposed to Illinois where I lived all my life (58 years) until this past October).

Just after I stated how clear it was and almost "on cue", four round, glowing objects came into my line of sight out of the southwest, heading northeast. They seemed fairly small, and flying fairly low; similar to the altitude of a single engine plane flying low. They almost looked like four searchlights shining on a thin cloud, but the stars were out, and there was not a cloud in the sky. They were fairly dim, but brighter in the center, and rimmed with a soft glow around each. They were in a "v" formation, but there were three on the right, with one on the left. I am aware of the "v" shaped sightings that seem to be the underbelly lights of a larger craft.

These did not seem to be that since there was only one light on one side, and they were not flying slow.

They continued at a steady rate, much faster than any prop or jet plane would fly, and in a straight line. I watched for about 8 to 10 seconds from when they appeared in my line of sight until they went out of sight. I am not sure at this point, because they were not really visible, but they may have dispersed from the formation, because as I was watching the point where they went out of sight I caught a glimpse of a streak off to the northwest of where they disappeared that flashed for just a second.

After seeing them for 2 - 3 seconds and realizing they were somethin! g special, I pointed to them right in front of my girlfriend's! face and emphatically said, "Look! Look!", and she was able to see them for about 5 seconds or so. She has always been a scoffer and has made fun of me watching Ancient Astronauts and other UFO related shows on TV.

She was a little shocked, a little scared, and would love to tell someone what she saw. I think the incident changed her mind.

I hope we were not the only ones to observe this. I am thinking there were many people looking up at the time due to backyard fireworks.

I saw a black silent bat-ray shaped object in daylight hours.

At approx 6:10 pm I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and noticed what i thought at first was a balloon. The object was moving in circles at first then suddenly went accross the sky from East to West then came to a complete stop.

It then changed direction and sped back East and came to another complete stop. It hovered there this time at a lower altitude where I could clearly make its shape out to be round in the front with two arcs on the rear of the craft which was black in color.

It made no sound.

It hovered for about thirty seconds before taking off at an very fast rate of speed back toward the west and gained altitude before disapearing behind clouds.

A few minutes later it came back at about the same altitude performing similar manuevers before dissapearing off in the distance.

Shortly after the sighting I heard but did not see some loud jets fly over my house several times.

3 UFOs in Sacramento, Ca. Viewed from Elk Grove, CA. the same night News Air10 Helicopter filmed UFO sighting.

This is my report from start to finish as it happened. My wife had asked me to come outside because she saw a bright light in the sky that was not moving and she wanted me to take a look at it. When I saw the light another light appeared just below the one already in view. Approx. 30 seconds later a third light appeared on the right side of the second light. After about 2 minutes of them staying in the same spot, the third light started to ascending upward and positioned itself with the other two lights to create what seemed to be a perfect triangle. The lights stayed in this position for about 1-2 minutes. It is at this time that the third light started to ascend again above the other two lights. Then it started to proceed towards my direction while the other two stayed in place. I watched the UFO go directly above my head. I could not spell out the shape. It looked as if it was a square shape but that was because of the light formation I saw from the bottom view. It had one bright light in what it seemed to be each of the four corners of the UFO. The lights looked as though they were symetrical to each other. As one UFO passed, the second light that appeared started to ascend and also moved in my direction mimicing the first UFO. As the second one passed above me, the first light that was visible also took the same exact path as the other two. This came to my amazement but didn't seem true until I came across a live news video clipping from Sacramento, CA. News 10 Air Helicopter Video from the same night. A few days later, News 10 aired an additional story about the video they aired a few days prior and it seemed to me that this was an attempt to cover up what they had captured on video that night. They claimed that it was an air light show advertising a GRAND OPENING for BIG O TIRES IN ROSEVILLE, CA. I thought this was strange and called BIG O TIRES IN ROSEVILLE and they informed me that the store I called had been the only one in ROSEVILLE, CA. AND HAS BEEN OPEN F! OR ABOUT 20 YEARS. "NO NEW STORES HAVE OPENED IN THAT AREA." I have also E-mailed American Airlights, who claims it was their air Advertisement of the BIG O TIRE GRAND OPENING. I HAVE NOT YET HEARD BACK FROM THEM. I WILL GIVE ANY UPDATES ON THIS STORY AS INFORMATION COMES TO ME. THANKS.

I was driving east on a road that runs through a forest preserve. I saw a chevron shaped metallic craft. A first i thought it was a plane. But it was moving to low to the ground and it was performing a number of maneuvers that aren't possible for a plane. It was about 2 or 3 miles to the north of my car. it stayed the same speed as my car, staying next to it for about 1 minute and 50 seconds. Then it gained speed and shot of to the east and then disappeared.

I saw a large silent arrow-head shaped craft with 3 row of rectangular yellow non-pulsing lights on its top and none on its bottom. It was 12 miles south of Sacramento CA at night in low patchy cloud cover.

A helicopter was first seen heading towards it and then I saw a hugh black/gray siloette in against the night sky as it cam from the southwest turned north slowly and then headed west and disappear into the night.

Chrome sphere(s) over farmland outside Sacramento California spotted from twin prop passenger aircraft

I was flying on a twin propeller engine passenger aircraft from Palm Springs to Sacramento. i spotted a total of 3 seperate sphere's traveling in straight lines in different directions, they appeared one at a time and no two were visible at the same time. there was one, then 2 minutes later another, then 4 minutes later the final one appeared and flew out of sight just as the first two had. The aircraft was approximately 20-30 minutes south of Sacramento. i was sitting in the window seat on the left side (facing forward) of the aircraft looking out the window trying to pass the time. i often have my nose glued to the window looking out during flights so it's not unusual or random that i was gazing out the window at that particular moment. i observed the first sphere traveling above the ground heading south westish (based on the assumption that we were indeed traveling North). it was very difficult to determine speed and size of each sphere because I was tra! veling in the airplane. the airplane i was in was traveling about 10-12K feet, or however high those airplanes fly during travel(horizon airlines). we were at cruising altitude, that is, we never appeared to go any higher than that for hours at a time, and only descended for landing.

The first sphere was like a ball of light, likely emitting light rather than reflecting (although if this ball was chrome or mirrored as was the second, it COULD also have been simply reflecting sunlight). since it never lost its brilliance, i assume it was emitting light rather than reflecting. i got the brief impression that it was lite-green in color. this sphere was farthur from my eyes and closer towards the earths surface so i could observe it for about 6 seconds before it flew out of line of sight from my little window. i was taken by slight surprise by this because it was the first one and moderately gained my attention. it seemed to be traveling quickly, faster than the cars traveling nearby. i would approximate the size of this one to be slightly larger than a minivan. if one were to crush a short school bus into a sphere that would be about the size, approximately. again very hard to determine considering that i was in a moving airplane at about 10K feet.

Continuing to stare out the window, i was eager to see it again. between this sighting and the next i could see a small small recreation/agriculture airplane and make out the fusalage from the wings. so i'm very confident that this first object (along with the subsequent 2) was a perfect sphere, not birds or planes. and i'm very confident that the first object was in motion. so after a brief minute or two another one flew by, this time it was headed directly in the direction we had come from. this second sphere was what really got me intruiged, this one appeared to be less than 300 ft away from the aircraft. Way close! it traveled at the same altitude, didn't go up or down, it was traveling in a straight line directly south. this sphere was definately chrome in color, about the size of a minivan. it was very hard to determine if it was just floating there or traveling rather slowly. if it was floating in place and the airplane passed over it (not directly because i could st! ill see it from the windows on the side of the plane) it would appear to the observer to be moving. so it's difficult for me to determine if it was moving in a straight line south or whether it was simply floating. i asked several people in front and behind my seat (same seating oreintation) if they "saw that?". i was frustrated that they hadn't and I had caused a minor disturbance on the plane because i was frustrated that nobody was looking out the window because they would have also seen it. i was mad that they missed this event because they had their face in a book. i was essentially trying to find another witness but nobody else claimed they saw it. accepting that this was likely to be a personal experience i let it go and continued to press my nose against the window.

several minutes later i spotted the final and most distant sphere. this was bright in color, no hints of green, only white, bright white. this one was traveling West, of the three seperate objects, this one appeared to be closest to the ground.

upon landing, i found a pilot sitting in the small Sacramento Airport that we were awaiting our flight transfer at. i asked him if he knew what a chrome colored sphere shaped object would be doing in the air? he immediately suggested a balloon and i was disappointed at the thought that a balloon makes sense. weather balloon or party balloon. so i then asked him how many balloons he has seen in the air during his career (excluding hot air balloon), he responded with zero balloons. i described our flight path and he said, "aah, yes i just flew on that flight". unspecific to whether he was pilot or co-pilot, i will never forget his face, broad jaw like Elvis, i could spot him anywhere. he also admitted to having not seen the objects (or at least the up close chrome ball) for himself. i was the sole witness.

3 spheres, one at a time, first one was lite-greenish headed opposite direction of plane, the second was way close and i got a very good look at it for the breif 2 seconds it was in sight. my eyes were able to lock on and focus on it before it dissappeared out of my line of sight, it was traveling in roughly the same direction as the first. and the third was faint, bright white and headed westward towards Pacific ocean. i have seen footage of an identical chrome sphere in a ufo clip filmed in Ventura California. i had always been intruiged by ufo's but after this sighting of mine i became very interested for approx 7 months before i was satisfied and no longer interested in persueing clips online or reading such books.

i was 20 yrs old. I have a difficult time believing that it (second Chrome sphere) was a balloon, a little girl would have to run into a random farm field and release it. im not sure if balloons remain inflated at that altitude. NOAA uses whether balloons that look very very similar to it, but i doubt that NOAA would release such a balloon in a flight path especially considering that they are aware of wind direction and speed, if this was a whether balloon, it definately posed a danger to the propellers. too close for comfort.

For 20 minutes I viewed a large and thee circles at about 10 am November 20, 2005 above my house..

I was taking out the trash when I heard a plane above. Looking up I saw i large circle and 3 smaller circles. at first thought these were skydivers from the plan I had heard. once the plane left I waited for the chutes to open. 8 minutes later a passenger jet came over at about 15 thousand feet. At that time I realized these circles were at a higher distance. So I ran to get my camera a olympic rebel.

Viewing the circles through the lens gave me a closer picture of one large circle and three small moving around the larger circle. I proceeded to take some pictures and the camera did not work! I then continued to watch and one by one the smaller circles merged with the larger circle. Once they were all merged the larger circle went straight up and disappeared.

I was completely astonished as to what I saw.

VERY high altitude dumb-bell shaped UFO

At 5:15pm Central Time in Elk Grove IL the following observation was made by our entire office staff as we relaxed outside the office just after work.

We were commenting on how nice the weather is and looking up at some very high, light clouds and someone pointed to a normal high-flying plane in the sky, which is common since we are close to O'Hare Airport. As all of our attention was on this plane, we all spotted another object, much higher in the sky, which was in the same line of sight. It looked about the same size as the high altitude plane, despite apparently being much much higher. It looked white and moved about 1/20 the speed of the normal looking plane (very slow). Our impression was that it was so high, it might have been the International Space Station. However, upon looking up the current location of satellites and the station on NASA's public J-Track website, the station was actually over Africa and no satellites were overhead at this time at all.

The object moved so slowly in the sky that I was able to run inside and grab some low power field glasses I keep in my office. As the object moved slowly in the sky in north by northwest direction we were able to watch it for about 5 minutes. Under the field glasses it looked like two large globes with a large metallic connector. The size must have been enormous considering the extremely high altitude we observed it to be.

Wind speed and direction at the time as reported by the O’Hare weather station was due West 8mph. Although I know wind speed and direction at very high altitudes can differ dramatically, this is clearly at odds with speed and somewhat at odds with the direction of the object we observed.

The soft, wispy clouds I referred to had the dispersed chem-trail look to them familiar to us in IL. Depending on the object’s size, it may have been at or just above that altitude. Can anyone offer an explanation? Perhaps chem.-trail related? Perhaps a secret DoD blimp of enormous size as has been reported to exist?

I saw a moving star like light in space flash a bright lite at me then turned on spotlight at it and it came back and did it again.

On this night I was up late and was outside "I live in the country away from town" looking up at the stars and was drawn to the northeastern sky, after about 5 min. I saw movement in the distant sky like a star moving, I thought satelite but it moved east, west, north & south then seemed to come right at me for a split second with a bright flash of light "not a ray but a bright flash" also still in space. I thought no way could I have seen that but I knew I had. At this point I was a few steps from my truck where I keep a powerful spotlite "living in the country it's a good tool to have as there are lot's of animals about at night" I retreived my spotlite and aimed it at the exact location of what I saw for the hell of it and turned it on/off/on/off/on/off then opened my truck door and put the light away and as I stood there at the truck and shut the door I looked up and dam if it did not return and do the same thing exactly what I saw the first time and then it was gone into space.

Red / Orange light in a fixed position

Sitting in front of my computer, I just happen to stare out of my bedroom window to see this small reddish/orange speck of light in the clear blue sky in a fixed position. I stared at this light for about 5-6 minutes in the same fixed position and then I lost sight of it. I could not find it for at least 2-3 minutes and then all of a sudden I see the same light in a slightly different position of the sky and a lot further away (much higher altitude). The light was still reddish/orange but very small. This time it seemed to move in a zig-zag pattern but not going in any particular direction. I lost sight of it after about 15 minutes. I went back to my computer wondering if it was a satellite or a bright planet/star - certainly was not an airplane. After maybe another 10 or 15 minutes later I look up and there is the light again in the first original position I had seen it - Only this time it was a white speck of light (looked like a star)! Again, it stayed in the same spot for a while and then disappeared and again showed up and was at a much higher altitude.

Large Mechanical Black Widow Measures Brain

I woke to a sound like mechanical gears turning. I opened my eyes and saw what looked like a giant black widow directly above me. It seemed to be as large as the ceiling, although, since it was directly above me, I'm not sure if it was just too close to me and therefore, I couldn't tell the exact size. The eyes were red like laser dots. The body was also black, but made of many round disks like gears that constantly turned - one on top of the other, seemingly as if measuring something. The legs looked mechanical, as if jointed like a mechanical spider would be. They seemed to be moving up and down in relation to whatever the gears were doing, each leg individually, and in a super creepy way, as if to scare someone who was arachnophobic like myself. I knew that it was measuring my brain. I tend to be sensitive spiritually, and I just simply knew what it was doing. It was measuring every part of my brain, and also every flaw in it, every tendency I had in my personality, just anything that can be measured in my brain, such as how quickly the synapses responded. Black widows are some of my worst fears so I was pretty much petrified. My response was to hide under my covers and pray till I fell asleep.

acked 10 starlike objects across sky 8 were traveling south to north, 1 traveled west to east and one traveled north to south

objects were the brightness of the average star as seen that night. it was a steady light and did not shimmer like starlight. there were no visible navigation or strobe lights (as used on private and commercial aircraft). the objects appeared in the following cronology and time intervals (times are at point of first sight, all took several minutes to travel across horizon to horizon). 2007-S to N;2027-S to N;2037- W to E;2039-S to N;2051-N to S;2053-S to N;2107-S to N;2110-S to N;2112-S to N;2116-S to N. These observations were prompted by sightings of a similar nature I witnessed on the evening of 9-5-99. On that night I saw 5 similar objects travel south to north within a span of about 20 minutes between 2100 and 2120. On 9-6-99, I observed at the same time as on 9-5-99 and only saw 1 south to north object and 2 shooting stars. On 9-7-99, I thought that if they were all satellites, they may be transiting slightly earlier each night. That is why on the 7th, I started to scan at 2000. The objects appear as satellites both in light consistency and straightline paths. I am curious that if they are indeed satellites, why are so many in the same orbital direction and so closely spaced? On 9-8-99, our sky was cloud obscured and I was unable to make any observatios. On 9-9-99, I observed from 2000 to 2130 and only saw 2 south to north objects and 1 west to east object. If these are satellites, where did the other 7 objects on the 7th go?

While waiting in McDonald's drive-thru line, I was looking up at several high, thin stratos clouds against a clear blue sky. I observed the craft fly through or above one cloud. I tried to show my 16-year old son, but it was almost invisable and I lost sight of it after seeing it only three times as it moved north in a straight line.

I am a retired deputy sheriff. I have lived in Elk Grove for almost 30 years. I have always been interested in aircraft. When I was assigned to Sacramento's Metro Airport, I became very familiar with the many different models of commercial, military, and private airplanes and jet aircraft. I still watch aircraft flying high over the Sacramento/Elk Grove area. I can usually identify the model of aircraft (747s, DC10s, 727s, 737s, DC-9/80s, B-52s, KC-135s, KC-10s, etc.). I have never seen a "UFO" before. The single craft was almond shaped with the widest part at the rear. The edge around the object appeared to be white. The space inside the perimeter of the object was almost transparent. I could see the blue sky through it. The white edge around the craft looked like a slow spinning gear. It moved north in a straight line. The craft was flying at a high altitude. It had no wings and it did not emit smoke. There was no contrail. No lights. No sound. At high altitude, it was longer than, and much wider than, a high flying B-52. At least two times as wide. It was not moving across the sky as fast as a large jet aircraft. Because it was transparent, I can't estimate how tall it was. I have never seen anything like this object. It was not a large helicopter. It was not a hot air balloon. It did not look capable of flight. I tried to show my son the object, but I lost sight of it twice when I momentarily looked away. Lime green trapizoidal light beaming onto back of house from rectangular source above house, physical evidence left.

Conditions: Around midnight, pretty sure the skies were clear, with no Delta Breeze at all.

Location: Between South Sacramento and Elk Grove A friend and I were southbound on Elk Grove Florin Road approaching the stop sign at Calvine Road slowing on approach to the stop sign. Nothing out there except a house on south/west corner, two story right on the corner. Green light from source about 20 feet above second story beaming a trapezoid shape of same light down on back of house and back yard. We could see the trees behind the house, the light waving off of the peak of the house like a mirage, or heat off the hood of a car. I was staring into "source" that was around 30ft x 12ft. I was looking into the rectangle to see equipment, or anything but it was just pure lime green light, saw nothing.

Also, we did not see a shape, lights, a craft, nothing. Not even sound. Then I got out of my car and by the time I looked back up it was gone, however the little street light that lit up the little 4 way stop was illuminating a/an "exhaust cloud", "churned up atmosphere", or what I call the "Doughnut shaped cloud that the Road Runner leaves when he splits." This "cloud" was floating at a 45 degree angle and if the "Road Runner" just "split" the trajectory of the object was South/Southwest (If Calvine is true East/West). We watched this "cloud" or "vapor" float for about 20 seconds before 2 fighter jets buzzed us from Mather Air Base. Some seconds later or minutes, came the rumble of a C-130 or AWAX, something obviously bigger and slower than the fighter jets inbound on the same course as the fighter jets, eventually coming overhead and continuing Southeast.

No other cars were at the intersection, not much traffic at all on the roads in that area at that time back then. We got in my car and left, turned on the radio and heard DJ's saying people calling in from all over the Sacramento area with sightings.

Next day evening news said, "We looked into the sightings from last night and spoke to (Naval Command?) and confirmed that it was a test missile launch from the San Fransisco area." My friend's dad flew the (T-42?) trainer jet out of Mather, a side by side 2 seater jet for training new pilots. He said to his dad that we had still not stopped talking about what we saw and after asking his dad what it was his reply was, "I cannot tell you what it was, but what I can tell you is that it wasn't a missile launch from San Fransisco." Since then, I've studied Ufology, and seen almost every video, and read a pile of sighting stories and I still haven't read or seen anything I saw that night. After years and years of study, and cutting away the media fat, smoke and mirrors and separating information from mis-information and dis-information I'm about 98% convinced that what we saw was either a multi-dimensional craft, or this realm/dimension simply opening up to the other side. The latter is from a total lack of observing any craft, or lights, or sound at all.

They left glowing material all the way to the barn.

My grandmother lived out in the country in Elk Grove, California, on a farm of one hundred acres.

In 1970, she called me, reporting there were three little green men outside and that a saucer had landed in the front yard. This call had come at 3:30 AM and I went right over.. When I arrived, Grandma was very scared and the craft was gone, but had left a burned spot on the lawn area, round in shape. There was also a trail of green glowing spattered slime trails all the way to her barn. I followed the glowing stuff to the barn and put a sample of the material in a jar. I took the material to the Air Force for examination and never heard anything of the results.

I wanted to share this with you in the hopes you may have any reports of sightings in the area during that time.
