Long oval with many blinking red lights of different durations and speeds on one side, and an off-white light on the other side

I was taking my dog out in the backyard. i've been staring at it for 15 minutes. I'm freaking out a little. My phone can't get a good view. I reckon It's still there. I look at that same night sky every single night and I have NEVER seen anything like this. These are not normal blinking red lights like airplane traffic. dozens of lights blinking not in synch in the same area almost like a traingle. It looks like a very very dim outline of a long oval horizontal along the sky. It was in front of the mountains. I know with certainty that those lights were air traffic or construction.

Smaller light gets absorbed by larger light and then just disappears.

This bright light was present in the sky for about 2 mins before I started to record. The small light and the large light were mostly stationary, maybe floating slowly to the right as if it were in the current of a stream. I kept looking with my actual eyes instead of through the camera, so the camera moves, not the object. All the lights below are normal city lights. These were too bright, consistently bright to be lights on the mountain and too left to where the mountain lights are located. The small tiny circular light next to the large one seems to be absorbed by the larger diamond light. It then just disappears. I get out of bed to see if it went somewhere and I missed it but I don't see any sign of it. The purple light towards the end of the video is an artifact of some kind. I could not see that with my naked eye. About a minute after I stopped recording and got back in bed a bright light flashed around the house...but I'm thinking that was car lights or lightning. There is lightning here almost every night. The diamond light and little circle next to it were definitely not lightning. I was in my bed playing a game on my phone, all the lights were out. The snoring you hear in the background is my dogs and my husband. As I get out of bed you will hear my sheets.

Huge tail coming of object traveling south in the sky

Massive and wide cone tail off rear from propulsion system it looks like. Unknown what kind of craft but had a steady tragectory southbound and eventually vanished after trying to see it further past some trees in my way. Was looking west toward the mesa from Rio Rancho while I was making deliveries from my car.

Cigar shaped object glinted in the sun as if it were chromed. The glint is what caught my eye. It came from the south and veered to the SW. I don't know how far away it was so I do not know the size. It was fast and it was unlike any aircraft I have ever seen. I heard a noise that was very similar to a hot air balloon inflator, but also very different. We hear balloons all day every day. It got my german shepherd's attention because he hates balloons, but the dog just seemed puzzled as it zipped away.

Saw an oval shape w/ bright lights floating approx 40,000feet in the air. It faded away in an unnatural way. Got some pictures

I saw what I believe to be some sort of flying saucer last month. I was coming home to visit my parents after work and saw it when I got out of my car at their house. It was a windy night and I could visibly see the clouds moving but these lights weren’t moving and they blocked out the stars behind it in an oval shape and that’s what caught my attention. Some facts:
• I was located near Rio Rancho, New Mexico
• I saw it when visiting my parents. I parked and was walking around the car to go inside when I saw it
• We are approximately 15miles North of Kirtland Air Force Base
• The object I saw seemed to be at around 40,000 feet above ground level
• It was tilted around 30ish degrees to the side
• It had one bright light in the middle and several smaller ones on the “back” (my guess based on the direction it was tilted) with one smaller one on the front
• It stayed still in one spot for approximately 5 minutes. I was able to run inside and grab my camera and change the lens to my long lens and get a few photos of it in about 1 minute before it just vanished. It was very hard to get focus on it (not unusual at full zoom, the lens is old)
• When it vanished it kind of just faded. The best (nerdy) comparison I can describe is shadowmeld from WoW, like it just increased in transparency over a split second until it was gone
• I am a published photographer- It was already dark so I had to handhold the camera and manually set the shutter speed as long as possible to minimize the ISO and get the clearest shot possible. I used a 300mm lens on a micro 4/3 camera for an equivalent focal length of 600mm. I had trouble getting focus and I tried a few combos of shtter speed and iso so I have more out of focus shots than in-focus ones
• It seemed to be on the East side of the ridge of the Sandia mountains
• There are several radio towers near the crest of the Sandia mountains. The object was far too high to be one of them, as well as the fact that the towers have red lights and the object was bright white light. I have taken pictures of the towers before and they look nothing like the object. I told my friends about this encounter and 2 of them told me it has to be the radio towers but I know it wasn’t.
• I’m a minor aviation geek and it was absolutely not a plane, but it did seem to be about the height that commercial airliners fly. If I had to guess, the size would be about twice as long as a 767
• The elevation where I’m at is about 5,280 feet exactly, the mountains are about 5,000feet higher than that.

Crafts were about 1/4 mile from us and were about 1,000 feet above the ground. Crafts were transparent and gray in color. The main craft was shaped like a jellyfish and three ball shared objects were orbiting the main craft. Objects flew in all directions and would occasionally disappear and reappear. Event lasted 3.0 seconds. There had been a military plane flying in the same location 30 minutes prior to the event.

Started out as too bright lights next to each other like an airplane. Continued to watch after grabbing Canon camera. Approximately 7 and 1/2 minutes of film showing multiple lights 15 to 20. A couple seem to move in unison but others seem to be swapping lights back and forth. Occasional red but rare. Round orbs are more like octangular then circular but then seem to morph into disk like shapes before morphing back to the octangular type shapes. Provided video to Linda Moulton Howe in Albuquerque and after reviewing with Brad, said she had not seen anything quite like it. It appeared to be over the desert, reservation land, Northeast towards Santa Fe high in the sky but film shows full moon not far from the activity.

Sightings Northeast of Santa Fe. No civilization in the area, no cities or towns. Reservation lands all the way up to the plains area. We have no idea how big these objects were. This was not a close encounter, this was not an abduction, there was no loss of time. It was simply one of the best light shows we have ever seen. It was aired last night on earth files, youtube, Linda Moulton Howe.
It was filmed with a Canon camera, not a cell phone and the event took place somewhere between 8:45 p.m. and 9:05 p.m.

Night out in the jacuzzi, saw a triangle shape object with 7 to 9 very dime yellowish lights

On June 23, 2020 around 10pm, this event took place in Rio Rancho, NM. I was the only one left in jacuzzi after a night with the kids and family celebrating my wife’s birthday party. I was star gazing in the northern sky in the direction of Santa fe, when I noticed some very dim yellowish lights in a triangle form. These lights did not blink or flash and were around 7 to 9 lights that seemed to just hover in the horizon, they lasted there for only 20 seconds before they just disappeared.

While heading Northbound on NM528 I observed two lights (mint green) quickly approaching from the West on my 10 o'clock. I first thought it was a helicopter because it came to a complete stop over at my 10 o'clock, but as I got closer I noticed that it was triangle shaped w/ one red light and two green on the corners. At about 10:30 p.m., we we're outside in my garage playing pool, and noticed the sound of a military helicopter, which isn't very abnormal. We went outside to check it out because it seemed particularly low and loud, and it was maybe half mile or so above the ground, Using radar or something in the nose we could see the green light. It was flying west to east at full speed as far as we could tell. Once it got almost directly overhead, maybe 20 degrees straight in front of us, we noticed a light orb turn on, orange in color, about 200 to 300 feet in front of the helicopter get bright and then take off in front of the helicopter. The orb was right on top of us again about a half mile up. It took off East and then veered Northeast. The helicopter sped up a little bit and went in pursuit. We did see the light go out it seemed like it wasn't a flare or a missile, because it didn't come from the helicopter it came from in front of the helicopter turned on and then ! had a burst of speed and then turned off. Not to mention there is desert/Mesa all around us why launch a missile over the suburbs? There's no way that's what we saw. Afterwards there was a squad of helicopters in the area which isn't very normal and we saw a drone as well.

At approximately 04:18 on the morning of Sept. 1st, 2019, I saw what I thought was a really bright star in the ESE sky at about a 35 deg. angle. I thought it was Sirius until it disappeared. Possibly a helicopter spotlight but didn't seem to cast a beam and the altitude would have been too high for it to hit the ground, I am also familiar w/ most of Law enforcement aircraft and they use FLIR tech here. I have never seen anything like that in the sky around here.

For 30 min, early morning, two people saw an oval light about 30 ft wide, circling, and shinning down through a sparse cloud cover.

At 16:00 I went outside into my back yard to locate the source of carpenter ants that have been entering our home. Having found the entry to the nest, at about 16:30 I decided to sit down on a recliner and watch the passing cloud cover. Just when I looked up (facing south) I was surprised to see a light circulating overhead.

I estimate that the overhead cloud cover was about two to three thousand feet high, and of varying thickness, with occasional open areas, which made it possible to temporarily glimpse the three-quarter moon, a planet and some stars, and an airplane that flew by.

The light was definitely coming from above the clouds. I estimate the size at about thirty feet. I observed it from an angle of about forty-five degrees. The light appeared as a glow shinning downward through the clouds. (To verify, I looked over the backyard wall toward the horizon to see if there was any light that was shinning upwards-there was none.) (Also, this could not have been a search helicopter, since there was no sound and a search helicopter would not be operating above the cloud cover, and the light was not shinning through the clouds with enough intensity to light up anything on the ground two to three thousand feet below.) The light traveled, counter-clockwise, in an oval of about several hundred feet (perhaps 400-500 ft.) wide. It took about seven seconds for the light to complete a full oval. From my perspective, the light appeared to be moving in an oval pattern. The light kept circling in the same location; but, it wasn't in a perfect oval; there was some slight deviation from a perfect oval pattern. The light may have been a circle and its movement may have been a circle had I observed it directly overhead, but from my perspective it appeared oval.

I watched the light for about fifteen minutes. I awakened my wife; and we watched the light together for about fifteen minutes.

There was no sound associated with the light. At about 16:50, a much higher passing airplane (perhaps a two-engine) became intermittently visible through the thinning cloud canopy. It was clearly heard as it passed by.

At 17:02 the onset of sunrise began to brighten the sky and the light faded from view, and we returned back inside of the house.

I did not feel any connection with this light. I did not feel any emotions, other than calm curiosity.

The following morning, at about 16:00, with the cloud conditions about the same, I looked in the same direction for about forty-five minutes, but I did not see any light as I did the morning before.

And the following early Sunday, with the cloud conditions about the same, at about 15:00 and again at about 16:30, I looked in the same direction for about fifteen minutes, but I did not see any light as I did the week before.

The mysterious sound and wake of an explosion in Rio Rancho.

We were just in the house, watching Netflix, and we had the sliding glass door cracked to the backyard. I saw a bright orange flash of light and then we heard a very LOUD explosion and it shook the house and woke up one of the kids.

The alarms starting going off next door at the Good Will reception center. It was at Southern and Unser Blvd. We have friends that work at Wendy's across Unser and we called them and they said they also felt and heard the explosion, and it rumbled the floors there, too.

We called the neighbor next door and they confirmed that they too heard and felt it.

We saw about 10 police cars rolling around over at the Walmart and by the Good Will back entrance shining spot lights.

Today I went to look for an impact spot? I found nothing!! I suppose they found nothing too? We do not know who called them? But I bet some report was made?

The light was in the distance west of my location. I walked out to my backyard and seen a light coming from the west in Albuquerque. As the light was getting closer, I noticed it did not have any flashing lights like you would see on an aircraft. I thought it could be a satellite but way too low. I see commercial planes at or below this height.

I ask a neighbor what it was as we watched this object of light moving to the northwest and when it passed it made no sound. The movement was steady with no moves, just straight.

I was driving down Idalia road after dropping off my child at school. I saw a metallic/shiny white circular/oval shape hovering in the distance.

A lot of planes cross overhead in this area, but this was not a plane or anything I have seen in this area before. I watched it, mesmerized, and then turned left onto Lerma road.

I pulled my vehicle to the side of the road & observed it travel a short distance. It stopped/hovered again, then shot off into the clouds & disappeared.

After it disappeared, I saw two planes/aircraft that were possibly "chasing" it.

At first I thought is it fireworks but it was sedentary ((sic. stationary??)) and then the light just went out.

Unidentified foreign obeject was seen flying over New Mexico

11/24/2013 To whom it may concern: My mother and I decided to go to the store for some grocery shopping. On our way to the store, we came to a complete stop.

I happened to look in the sky and see 3 blue lights. They seemed pretty low to the ground, but thought nothing of it. They stayed pretty even and straight, so our minds went to the thought of it being a plane just flying really low.

We went to the store, and went on with our night. Coming home from the store, we looked up once again to see it in the same spot.

Knowing my planes don't fly this low, my mother requested I pull over. I was able to pull out my Iphone before she got her phone up. We sat there then recording it.

As we looked at it more, we began to see a squarish oval shape with the three lights evenly among the side of the "plane" as we recorded it more, it slowly started to move. Slowly, it got faster, and moved towards the mountains. We watched and recoreded it until we couldn't see it anymore.

on 11/19/13 my daughter and I saw a triangular shape object with blue then green lights over some housing in Rio Rancho, NM.

To whom it may concern, This is my account of what my daughter and I saw on the night of November 19th, 2013. My daughter has filed her own report, per instructions of Mr. Davenport.

Approximately 5:55pm, my daughter and I decided to go the store, and as we turned onto the next block to leave, heading north, we spotted two solid blue lights, evenly spaced about 200ft apart, right in front of our view, but about a mile away. There was a red flashing light next to one of the blue solid lights.

The craft was moving very slowly to the north/northeast. We figured it may be a normal aircraft, although we have never seen a craft, other than a helicopter, move that slow, so we ignored it and continued to the store.

On our way home from the store, approximately 6:48pm, I was looking out the car window, when I saw three green lights, triangular in shape, suspended about 300-350ft off the ground, staying in the same spot, again with one red flashing light next to one of the green lights. It was just outside the window on the west side of the road.

I told my daughter to take the next road to the right, which has no lights, and when she asked why, I pointed to the lights. She pulled over and I rolled the window down to take a video with my phone.

My daughter gave me her iphone, and I started to record. Shortly after starting the recording, the object started to move away at a very slow speed, heading north/northeast. It started to move a little faster, but never just took off at a high rate of speed. I recorded it until I couldn't see it on her phone any longer, at which time, we left and went home.

I have been completely dumbfounded since seeing it, and must say that I am still not sure what I saw, but I've never seen anything of this shape, with the ability to stay in one place, with absolutely no sound coming from it.

We have sent the video I took to Mr. Davenport, with ufo video by barnard as the subject, using the [email protected] address.

Bright white, round object in eastern sky seen from church doorway.

Bright Object in Sky Spotted From Church Doorway This morning, at approximately 6:20, I was standing in one of the doorways of a church in Rio Rancho, and happened to spot a very bright object hovering in the eastern sky. It had a round, circle shape and it never moved from that spot.

The object wasn’t flashing on or off, just a steady bright white glow, and it wasn’t an airplane, otherwise it would have moved across the sky, which it did not.

Other people were coming into the church at this time for services and I’m not sure if any of them saw it or if they did just ignored it. It was still there in that same spot at 7 a.m. when I left the doorway.

Unmoving pure white light turned to orange then faded over Rio Rancho, NM.

The object was too small to clearly see the shape. The sun had just set so the sky was light when I first spotted the object. It was larger than a star. More like the size of a plane from a distance. The object seen to the East of Rio Rancho,NM was pure, brilliant white. It was not round but the shape was not clear. It may have been diamond shaped. There was no movement. As the sky darkened the object slowly turned an intense orange. It then began to fade until it was no longer visible. There was never any motion. It remained in the same place the whole time. It seemed to stay the same size also but as it faded it could have changed size.

Three disk appear in a photograph taken at a party with over 30 people.

When I uploaded pictures from a graduation party at my house, the object appears in the picture. I was on the ground pointing the camera up at the balcony where two party guest were getting ready to hang a pinata. No one else was looking up & I did not see the disk and neither did the people hanging the pinata, it was only visible in the picture. On close examination of the picture, you can see two other disk in the distance. About an hour before this three military Ospreys flew over the area. Everyone saw them and watched them fly over because it is unusual for military aircraft to fly over our area.

At 9:50 PM i was heading home from a park near Riverview Drive. As I was leaving the park, turning West, I noticed a red light in the Western sky moving slow and steadily from South to North. I proceeded to drive and turn onto Sabana Grande Avenue. This was when I noticed the orange hugh in the middle of the red aura. I kept driving and turned left onto Riverview Drive and kept a watchful eye on this object.

At first I thought it was a helicopter or plane because, at the right angle, you can see a light that isn't flickering, and, after some time, when they turn or keep moving, you cansee the flashing light. I waited for this object to do so before concluding it was a UFO. It never turned and simply kept moving into the light cloud cover, dimmed, and vanished.

A long beam of light extending from a light in the sky towards the earth, which disappears suddenly.

I was travelling north along Unser Blvd, approaching the junction with the US 550, when I saw what appeared to be a stationery object high in the sky ahead and slightly to the left of me over the desert (i.e. slightly to the north west of that junction). The thing that drew my attention to it was a long shaft of light beaming downwards towards the earth from it. It was a long shaft, not uniform in brightness but an increased intensity of brightness along it’s middle, extending downwards towards the earth at about a 25 to 30 degree angle from vertical. The shaft thinned and feathered as it approached earth, not reaching the ground. The object at the top of the shaft was no more than a light with no recognizable shape, about the size an aircraft would be at that distance. I pulled over to look at it, and called my husband to see if he was able to see anything. As we were talking I must have looked away for a second and when I looked up the light was gone. I was shocked, and looked all around in the sky to see if there was any trace of it. The only thing I saw was something like an aircraft with 2 flashing lights moving very fast in a southerly direction well past me on my left, i.e. the western side. It had a very long, straight stream of hazy white behind it. I don’t know if that was the same object. If it was it had changed position exceedingly fast.

Rio Rancho, New Mexico UFO spotted on Christmas Eve

My husband went outside to get a trashcan to put wrapping paper in for Christmas morning and saw glowing purple and red lights behind him. He could see the lights reflecting off the trash can. He turned around and saw a very large round object swaying in the sky. He described it's movement as a fish swimming in water. He ran in the house for us to come out quick and look at this thing in the sky. My mother and I ran outside and saw the object. My husband informed us that it is much further away at this point. It was like NOTHING I have ever seen before. Definitely no flying craft I've ever witnessed before. It changed from purple to green to red to blue and swayed in the clear night sky. It went from up and down, side to side and did loops within seconds. It looked like a fiber optic light. It was not blinking it changed colors from one into the other. I made my husband run in the house to get a camera, by the time he came back out it looked like it landed f! ar away in the distance maybe toward the West Mesa. It was a trip, I still almost can't believe what I saw. Neither can my husband or my mother. Something I will never forget!

The UFO was a saucer shaped, silver object.

It was nine in the morning. My cousin and I were taking a walk. I happened to look up at the clouds and that’s when I saw it. There was a metallic silver saucer moving slowly through the air.

I quickly told my cousin to look up. And sure as heck, I wasn’t imaging it. He saw it too. I quickly took out my phone to try and get a picture, but right when I pushed “TAKE” the UFO disappeared into a cloud bank. It looked as if it sped up to get away or something. Later that morning, I was doing something in the living room and looked out the window. There moving slowly across the sky was the same looking UFO that my cousin and I had seen a couple hours earlier.

I figure it was probably the same UFO craft we’d seen two nights earlier. We had been watching a movie and glanced out the window. Slowly moving over our yard was a torpedo shaped figure with glowing lights. The lights were red, yellow, and green. It was too close to the ground to be a plane. Besides, there was no noise at all. It took about one minute for it to finally disappear over the house.

Hovering bright light fades in and out.

I am not sure of what we saw, but we believe it was a UFO no matter if from space or where ever...

We live in Rio Rancho and for about an hour or so, we have been watching a bright yellow/white light hovering over the towers on Sandia Mtn. The light, thru the binoculars which appeared to be a pin prick, turned around so a red light of sorts showed, then it just faded 'off'. There are/were no clouds over the mtn, and from our view point, it hovered, without moving for some time, up over the towers. It periodically faded out then would reappear not too far from the last spote we saw it. It climbed higher and just to the right of where we saw it. It appears perfectly round in our binoculars then a red light will spin every so often. It also appears to have something (light) come out of the top and/or bottom or both at the same time. I tried to take some pictures and don't know if it will come out. But it just hovered and would get brighter then fade out for approximately 7 minutes at the longest before disappearing completely.

Bright green light, hovering in front of Sandia mountains, in the northern end of the Sandias. After about a minute of hovering, the light suddenly zoomed south, across the face of the Sandias, passed about the area of Kirtland AFB, and disappeared. Covered the distance in about one second.

I was about 12 at the time, but I remember it vividly. I had a good vantage point from across the Rio Grande Valley. A mountain I look at daily. I estimate the craft covered about 10 miles in about 1 second before disappearing.

It covered half the sky in just three seconds, stopped, did a half circle and faded to nothing.

It looked like a satelite but moved across the sky from north to south much faster. It covered half the sky in about three to four seconds, then stopped for about a second, then did a half circle and then faded to nothing. I have never believed in UFO sightings and have never witnessed anything like this. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I just hope someone else saw it as well.

Black object hanging in the sky possible cause of geese flock disappearance

This was a dark or black sphere shaped object that was hanging about 200 ft above the Rio Grande river near Albuquerque. I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of where I was working at the time, eating a snack and waiting to clock in to work, when I noticed a flock of geese circling above the river just behind the building where I worked. They were in their usual "V" shaped formation but instead of flying off into the distance, they appeared to be confused as to what direction to go. They seemed to be concerned because they were not making their usual honking while traveling sounds, instead the sounds where different, more high pitched and stressfull. I watched them circle and listened to their cries for 4-5 minutes, then as I was reaching over to the passenger seat for the other half of my sandwich, the sounds stopped. I took a bite, a sip of my drink and intended to resumed my observation, but the geese were gone, dissapeared within the 10-15 seconds that I looked away. I got out of my car immediatly and looked all around the sky to see where they may have decided to fly off to, but they had dissapeared altogether. The last time I saw them they were circling above the parking lot, not enough time for them to fly out of sight or to land at the Rio Grande river a quarter mile away. This was very strange, and I was in disbelief that they could have vanished. As I was still searching for the lost geese I noticed a dark, round object hanging above the river south of my position and about a mile away. I guessed it to be 10-15 feet in diameter and about 200 ft above the Rio Grande River. At first I thought it to be a large balloon tied to a string because it seemed to move a bit from side to side and up and down, but then I realized that if it were tied down and the wind was pushing against it, the movement would be in the shape of an arc, this was not. It seemed to be trying to maintain a particular position drifting +/- 15 to 20 ft on a horizontal or verticle plane. Two hours later and just before su! nset whi le on my first work break, I went back outside and it was still there. I pointed it out to someone else who confirmed it, but expressed no curiosity about what it might be.

In conclusion: I am thinking that this hanging object may have caused a kind of navigation problem for the geese, causing their stress and confusion. But because of their dissappearance, it may have opened or closed a gateway in time or place. The geese may have been traveling in one place or time, and then suddenly emerged from or vanished into another.

Second Sighting: I had nearly forgot about that sighting until I saw it again, this time in Oak Ridge nearly three years later. It was the first week in June 2002 about an hour before sunset. This time it was a little further away, maby a mile and a half and floating about the same hight above the ground as before, which I guess to be about 200 ft. It had the same characteristics as before of drifting on a horizontal and verticle plane, and not in an arc which would suggest it was tied to string or rope. I watched it for 30 mins or so in its stationary position, but as the sun began to set I noticed the object getting smaller and smaller, and believed that it was now moving further away from me in a northern direction. Finally it was so small I could no longer see it in the dim light of dusk.

Driving east from Rio Rancho into Albuquerque on Paseo Del Norte, I viewed a perfectly lit circle above the Sandia Mountains. The circle appeared to be slighly south of my line of travel, and about twice as high in the sky as the section of the mountain range it was directly over. This area is known as bear caynon and the mountain ridge is at about 9,000ft ASL, I would say the object was at approximently 18,000ft ASL. The sun was back lighting the mountains as it was rising, at first I thought it was a weather ballon, because we witness them all the time in this area of the sky in similar light conditions. The only problem with this is the object simply disappeared, no movement, just poof, gone. I observed this area of the sky for another 45 minutes and never saw it again.

Sighted during the major meteor shower last year.

My roomates and I were up, off and on all night and early morning to watch the major meteor showers that were occuring, and I can't remember what month that was occurring, to watch all the "falling stars". I went outside in my backyard about 4:30 a.m. to get another look as it was so facinating, when I noticed an object moving through the sky very quickly and it was white in the front and had an orange/bluish contrail. I found this interesting as it wasn't falling from the sky, it was moving perpendicular to the Earth. Then, I saw dark objects following it. And how I saw this was due to the fact they crossed in front of stars. One of my roomates came out and saw the objects following the colorful object. I don't know what we saw, but after having something else in 1993, I believe it was not of Earth.
