Myself and my sister were at the swimming pool at the Hyatt in Palm springs on April 11th 2024 at 9:30 p.m. we saw a cloud about 50 ft away a UFO came out of the cloud I pointed it out to my sister she kept looking at it all of a sudden the UFO disappeared the whole thing lasted about six or seven seconds and we noticed that a street light was flickering rapidly some other people on the balcony at the Hyatt also witnessed this phenomenon although we did not communicate with one another

I saw a massive dark V-shaped craft covered in small lights traveling across the western sky and over the San Jacinto mountains.

While walking my dog at 8:24pm PT on Saturday, March 9, 2024, I paused to look up at the stars. The sky was extremely clear with ultra-low humidity (~16%) at that time. Facing west, I looked up at the Orion constellation in the southwest sky, as I frequently do at night, and noticed an enormous V-shaped craft traveling across the sky. It appeared to occupy about two-thirds of the height of the Orion constellation as viewed in the night sky, clearly much larger than any human-made craft, as it was evidently very high up yet still occupied a large portion of the night sky. The craft appeared miles in scale, not meters. It seemed covered in 'star camouflage,' with randomly-spaced lights mimicking the size and colors of stars in the neighboring sky. I could clearly see the shape of the dark structure beneath the lights against the night sky, indicating these were not separate lights moving in unison but rather part of a larger, visible solid structure. After watching in amazement for several seconds (perhaps up to 10 seconds), I attempted to capture it on video with my iPhone. It was challenging to align my phone's camera with the object in the dark, and though I was unsure if it was properly lined up, I managed to capture about 8 seconds of video before losing alignment, then watched as it disappeared over the San Jacinto mountain range to the west. The event lasted approximately 40-60 seconds. The craft's speed was remarkable, given the distance it covered in such a short time. Given its massive size, comparable to 2/3 of Orion in the sky, any manmade craft would need to fly only a couple hundred feet above me to appear so large. Yet, this craft was clearly many miles up, far exceeding the height of the 2-mile high mountain range. It was completely silent, with only the normal ambient noises of wind and nearby traffic. I realize now how easy it would be to miss such a sight unless one looked directly at it, as I fortuitously did. The experience was surreal yet unmistakably real, awe-inspiring, and unlike anything else I've ever seen.

A bright white egg or circular object, about the size of a car, less than 1000 ft, shot across the sky, stopped, jumped to hyperspace

I was running around 5:30am. Mostly clear skies, and low light pollution (street lamps etc). The moon was behind me entirely. I looked up and to my left when a movement caught my eye. I saw a bright white object, somewhat egg shaped. It was anywhere from a few hundred to a thousand feet in the air. It looked to be roughly the size of a car. It was gliding very quickly through the air in a slight arc, faster than any plane or other aeronautical craft known to me, spanning at what an arm’s length would be one to two feet, but in the sky was a large distance. It only lasted about 1.5-2 seconds. It looked like it was lit from within, and although the white light was pure and bright, and seemed to be moving in a circular motion, the object did not give off brightness around it, only a faint glow. The object was not falling, like a meteor crashing through the atmosphere; there was no tail, debris, or sound. It was moving smoothly and independently. It was being guided. It suddenly stopped, flashed a bright blue light on one side, and taking a sharp right, it basically jumped into hyperspace. It blipped and was gone. But I could see the direction it had moved in, after making that perfect angle and change in direction. It happened very fast, but I have never seen anything so clearly in my entire life. I was looking directly at it; it was not from my peripheral vision, I saw it from the moment it appeared in the sky, to the moment it jumped.

It was a orb that turned into a huge bright white flash followed by the strangest electro weird sound.

It was a stationary orb that turned into a bright 2-3 second flash followed by a electro mechanical like sound the sound lasted for about 2 1/2 seconds. I had a full view of the sky and it lit up a decent size portion of the sky. Part of the mountains lit up from the flash too. All of us (11 or 12 witnesses) were like what the hell was that and began looking online for a explanation. It happened so fast none of us had our phones out to record it. That sound is something i cannot get out of my head now, I've never heard anything like it in my life. We started to here a couple helicopters 3 to be exact shortly after the event.

I saw a fighter jet closely being followed by a changing faceted shape object which at first I was being towed by the jet.

Two fighter jets fly over my house everyday just before noon. They are very loud and when I hear them coming I often step outside to watch them fly by.
On Saturday I saw the first one fly by shortly followed by the second. But the second one appeared to be towing an oddly shaped object. But then I thought fighter jets don’t tow things. The object appeared to be to be following closely but not in a true straight line. Not jerky but like someone steering a speed boat towing a skier.

The object was grey-ish sort of rectangular wider than high but with many facets.

Then I heard a third fighter jet approaching. I turned to look at it and when I looked back the other two were out of sight. I figured the third pilot must have known what was going on.

I didn’t think much about it until all the other sightings started to be reported.

Driving on freeway and a reflection caught my eye towards the airport and seen it was not a airplane

Around 2:50 pm I was driving north on on interstate 10 freeway and right before my exit on palm drive, a reflection object caught my eye from my left side towards the mountains over looking palm springs. At first I thought a airplane since the palm springs airport is right on the base lane of that area but then I quickly realized it was too small for a airplane and it was moving slowing up the mountain side since it was already 3/4 from the top. I kept looking and noticed the object had no reflection due to the shade of the mountain but still moving slowly up the side. At the same time airplanes where taking off and banking right from the area of this object. I got the off exit palm Dr and pulled into a gas station and tried to find the object again. From there I spotted the object hovering above the ridge line. And at this moment of writing incident I can see the object. I will try to record since object still there around 3:04pm. Object was then seen gone and no video taken.

There were several white light orbs flying in a tight and almost perfect formation across the night sky at low altitude. Formation of ten bright lights over Palm Springs

Ten lights were moving in a southeasterly direction in what appeared to be a formation. Lights were spaced evenly apart at approximately one to two degrees separation. Their speed seemed to be constant, they were not accelerating. The lights were bright white, there were no colored lights visible and no sound at all. The lights were not moving in the direction of Palm Springs airport and disappeared to the southeast about 2 minutes after the initial siting. I did not have my camera with me to take pictures.

While my wife and I were eating lunch I noticed a triangle of 3 orbs in the sky. I watched for a few seconds to try to ID what I was seeing and then one orb broke formation and then held a different pattern. I knew it was an unknown object at that time so I began filming. What’s weird is the objects flashed out of view and my camera went blurry. I thought I lost them for the rest of the clip but they were moved to the top part of the video. 4 orange lights , one behind the other. Then a 5th one going faster to catch up. One by one they all went dark.

five orange lights , round, about the size of the letter O in a persons normal handwriting but up in the sky , of course,. The first four were in line ,or formation, one behind the other. They were coming in from about 30 degrees to the west, or to the left, from where North is on the compass. And then we saw the 5th one. It had been lagging behind and was flying faster than the 4 so I“m assuming it was trying to catch up. They were silent, flying about as high as helicopters do. Then one by one they went dark. Lasted about 3 minutes. It was 11:10 or 23:10 military time no clouds in the full, moonlit evening sky. And even with binoculars we could not see the shape of the aircraft.

I’m in Palm Springs, California. I was sitting in my hot tube very sober just gazing at the stars. I pointed to the strange orange stars and told my partner but he couldn’t follow them nor see them. I have very good night vision and distance. At 8:35 I looked up and notice some strange orange stars in a V shape. The formation of stars were not stars they were a squadron of 10 to 14 fast moving aircraft moving in a formation like ducks flying in a pattern. As they banked around the mt their shape went from a V to t shape but I realized the V shaped appeared to be a t to me as they moved at different levels. They straightened out and followed the 10 Hwy North towards Banning .

This is my first sighting. I had a former partner who was a military pilot in The Korean war and he once saw a squadron of ships fly over him while in the South Pacific. Honestly, Monica Bianchi

silent, triangle of soft red lights (maybe 5-6, per side legs, base of triangle i believe did not have lights) appeared and disappear in black sky. Speed difficult to estimate, but if altitude was 15,000 ft it was 50% + quicker than a commercial plane and considerably large base to the triangle than any wingspan i know to exist.

Given the sky was black, vehicle did disappear instantly or maybe lights shut off.

White orb/oval-like object hovering high in blue sky in Palm Springs in early afternoon

On November 17, 2019 at 2:25pm (Pacific), in a clear blue sky in Palm Springs, California (91 degrees farenheit), 4 individuals who were outside at a pool in their home, clearly saw a white, oval-shaped object hovering directly above at a height of about 15,000 to 20,000 feet. The object may have slightly left to right, but it was in a fixed location for the duration of the sighting. The object was then viewed through binoculars and it had an orb-like, oval-shape with a dark outline and appeared to be either rotating or vibrating fast. At 3:32pm, the object disappeared and despite searching the sky with the binoculars, we found no trace of it.

A light like a rocket passed in a NW to SSW arc.

A light came from the NW sky traveling SE. It appeared to be very distant in the sky like a satellite. It shined like a rocket with a bright, white head and red, pointed tail. The head flickered like a twinkling star. The tail had little flicker. There was no trail behind it. The moon was full and would have illuminated a trail. The sky was clear with stars showing.

The object continued to about 80 degrees above the western horizon. The brilliance and tail began to fade as it passed the zenith. The path became a slow arc bending to S and then SSW. It faded to a dim white light by the time it disappeared behind trees.

My husband and I saw 2 rectangular shaped ufos fly over the 10 freeway then they reversed direction and traveled east towards Indio.

My husband and I were traveling west on the 10 freeway in Palm Springs, CA on our way to Lake Arrowhead on vacation and at 10:10 in the morning we witnessed two white rectangular shaped aircraft/UFOs measuring around 50-100 feet long each, traveling west in formation. They crossed over the 10 freeway right above us before the 62 turnoff. Following this, they reversed their direction and headed East, following the freeway, towards Indio before disappearing from our sight. They had no visible signs of propulsion. No wings, no tail, no engines, no windows, no nose.. just plain white flying rectangles that made no sound as they few above us. When we arrived at our destination, we contacted 29 Palms Airbase and reported the sighting. They told us they had nothing tracked on radar.

Event seen by two amateur sky observers/ufo-hunters. Tried to match craft with local planes or possible known satellites that were currently in nearby skies but to no avail. (Following phone apps were used for this: Air Traffic, Flight Aware, Flight Radar 24 (w/Silver Membership) Satellite AR and Heaven's Above).

It should also be noted that the Palm Springs airport and air museum is nearby, and being avid sky watchers, the observers have become accustomed to the typical air traffic associated with each. This was something very different from anything that might be usually seen and did not match any reported callsigns or known aircraft. Observers regularly use the mentioned phone apps to match aircraft they see to that which is reported and passing nearby or through the airport.

Traveling westbound via car on 10 Freeway, exited on Indian Canyon to turn into the North Palm Springs Motel 6 parking lot. Passenger spotted and pointed out to driver a shiney, silvery-white, disk shaped, wingless craft ascending in the Eastern sky, directly out past the windmill fields. The center of disk was raised enough to be where this would be where it seems like a pilot could reside. No sound could be heard, though if it were a plane, the associated sound could have been heard.

Sky was perfectly clear, winds the night before had been very gusty and might have kicked up sand but at this time all dusts had settled and only a very slight breeze existed.

Spotted at about 60 degrees - the horizon being 0. At first the craft seemed to climb slowly and steadily in elevation similar to any typical passenger plane, but after about 30 seconds of us observing this, the craft seemed to come to a hovering hold. What appeared to be doors folded out from under the craft and then back up into it. The craft then started ascending, up and away, amazingly fast, straight up into the atmosphere; within a matter of seconds, it shrunk from view until it completely disappeared. No trails were left behind.

I just wanted to let you know though, that the time I initially reported is the correct time - 10:00AM; I know that might seem a bit unusual, as most reports seem to reference the night, but I have come to notice that there's just as much interesting activity going on in our sky during the day as there is during the night.

Also, there was no evidence of anything left behind, but that's likely due to the elevation of the object and that from its initially high elevation, it only zipped away, higher and higher until vanishing.

While it was in the distance, I could tell the flying object was in Earth’s stratosphere. It appeared the UFO was 20-30km from the ground and exploring the mountains in Palm Springs. I was staying at Sparrow’s Lodge (E Palm Canyon Drive) and was facing South/South-West at the time of the sighting.

To me, the most bizarre thing about the sighting was that the UFO was moving quickly towards the earth. I suppose I always imagined UFO’s beaming back to space, not towards us.

Shortly after 2:30 this morning, I looked up into the sky directly to the North and saw a flash or what i thought was a shooting star.

Perhaps it was a comet because it looked so big (approximately 3 inches long from my perception. It was a third wide as its length. It disappeared as soon as it was visible. Recently, there were shooting stars so thought maybe it was related. I waited several minutes to see if there would be others but nothing was happening.

We had come back from dinner, and I noticed a 5 point stick figure star over the San Jacinto Mountains. When we got in, I went into the back yard with my ipad and started filming it. It just looked like a bright light that changed in its brilliance. My husband came out with his canon hd vixia HFM31 camera, and started filming it.

The object did not move, as in the video. That was his movement. He had it on zoom and did not alter the setting. The object seemed to come closer and retreat. You can see on the video, the shape and changing shape and color of it. When he went inside, several minutes later, I observed it to just disappear. It did not fly off.

On April 12, 2018, I witnessed a glowing white lighted sphere, about 40 ft in width, a distance of about 2 miles away from where I was siting, flying in a south easterly direction at about 1500 ft. The craft appeared to be single glowing light and had no colored blinking lights on it as it flew like other aircraft in that area use all the time when taking off from the airport nearby.

The craft was not far from Mara Largo and the Palm Beach International Airport here in Palm Beach County and was flying away from the estate, but and not from it. These craft are regularly seen in this area periodically and at times have been observed using strange devices in the Palm Beach County area.

In one instance when one of this type of craft were seen in 1996, the craft was flying at about 200 feet and as it got closer to where I was sitting across from a large wooded area in a park the craft released some form of electrical explosive device that exploded near the ground in the woods approx. 75 yards from where I was sitting. Whatever kind of weapon it was it exploded into a perfect dome of bluish white light about 50 feet in height. It was unbelievable, and without my military training, I would have been quite scared, I am sure.

Dancing lighthouse beacon pulsing randomly over east Coachella Valley

At roughly 7:52PM October 21st, 2017, Laying on my back, stargazing from my backyard, facing west, I saw in the corner of my eye a quick flash. It has the intensity of a meteor burning up, but when I quickly focused in on where it was, I couldn't see the typical meteor-trail. Maybe it was a supernova? But then another flash occurred a short distance away, bright with the intensity of plasma or phosphorous. This time as its flash died down I could see the faint glow or an object moving as if being blown, or floating in the wind. It can only be described as an orb maybe no bigger than a car or a basketball and moving about at a passenger planes cruising altitude. From my vantage point it appeared directly above Redlands or Yucaipa and "pulsed" a brilliant white at random intervals, staying on for 1-4 seconds then going faint for 5-20 seconds, appearing much like a wandering satellite. However, this was no satellite or plane as they fly over constantly and are easy to spot because of either indicator light! s (planes) or a uni-directional flight path (satellite). The objects meandered, pulsing, performing figure-8's while moving from the west to the northeast of the sky, fading out of view over Joshua Tree. It can be described as a floating light beacon of a lighthouse, its flash extremely bright, then fading out, but at intermittent cycles.

My reaction was shock, fear, confusion and euphoria as I found myself waving to it or trying to perceive any kind of communication mentally or physically. My intuition tells me that the object knew of its visibility, and that its whirling flight path, purposeful. Dogs barking unusually, too.

Roughly 1/5 of the way up the silhouette of Mount San Jasinto was 8 red lights above a blue line followed by another 8 red lights. All 3 sets of lights were parallel and evening spaced apart.

Object was about 3 miles away and would guess it was 100' wide x 50' high. Moved slow around Canyon Ridge towards the bottom tram station. Then disappeared.

The word "Mars" written In the Sky by lights

My girlfriend and I went outside to walk our dogs in Palm Springs, Ca, and we saw the craziest lights. There were hundreds of lights in the sky that were made to spell "MARS".

Each letter seemed to be a quarter mile long and each letter was composed of dozens of individual lights. Each letter also flashed at the same time and the same exact color. It was surreal. The word "Mars" lasted in the sky for over 30 seconds, proving it was not fireworks and there was no way these were drones. The lights were insanely bright! The letter "M" was comprised of dozens of red lights, the "A" were dozens of blue lights and so on. My stomach dropped when I saw these because there was no way this was man made.

As the lights dimmed and shut off, there was a lasting blue hue from each individual light, and it then turned to just a few twinkling lights in the sky until there was Darkness. No smoke, Just clear black sky.

The shapes were forming and shifting slowly as well (as migrating birds does) the 2 "following lines" integrates the major shape, fade away to a V shape that slowly disateared

4 bright lighted ufos over Palm Springs, CA.

A friend was leaving my home to go to his home after dinner. It was approx. 10pm.

After we had said good night, he ran back in the house and said come out here at look at this. There were four large crafts traveling at a high rate of speed, coming from the east and going west.

My location is right across the street from the Palm Springs Airport. As we watched in disbelief, they appeared to come to a stop. From the stopped position, the lights seem to get smaller, so maybe they were flying straight up, I'm not sure. The aircrafts are still there over an hour later. They do not seem to be moving at all. The lights now look almost like stars, except they are brighter. While this was going on, a helicopter took off from the airport and flew right over my house and then landed, About 20 seconds later it took off again, and did the exact same thing. It did this four times. very strange

My wife and I were visiting J. W. Marriott resort in Palm Springs California. After we had lunch, we strolled around the outside area just east of the lake they had. My wife posed for a few pictures and I shot five pictures of the resort with the mountains in the distance. After I finished taking pictures, I looked at the ones just taken. About 1:11pm, according to the built in timer on the photos.

Much to my surprise, one of the pictures had an image I immediately showed my wife.

I asked her, what do you think this is at the top upper portion in the sky? Both my wife and I cannot explain it. There was no reflection we could ascertain that would have made this appear in the picture. The short time only seemingly caught on the picture. If this was real, I cannot explain it.

I was in the car and I saw what looked like a meteor burning up and breaking up over the Palm Springs Airport. It burned for at least 3 minutes, then broke up into a few pieces. Those pieces disappeared for about 1 minute, then reappeared further away. About 1 minute after that, the entire thing disappeared. The trail changed colors, as if it was burning different gases or something.

Large bluish glow/light seen in sky in Palm Springs, CA - Nov. 7, 2015





My wife called me and my daughter outside (her mother came out a few minutes later), to witness a large bluish glow up in the dark sky. It was oval shape in appearance, and very large. About the size of a golf ball (elongated), if held out a arms length, up towards the sky. The bluish glow (light) moved slowly across the sky, then back again, before fading out. The bluish light was not a normal light, and wasn't that bright, but bright enough to easily be seen (glow). I wouldn't be surprised if other people witnessed this too. Waiting now for the explanation that scientists want us to hear. Between UFOs, CERN, the 2nd coming - end of the world, etc...-things are happening faster, more often, and all over the world. Just-A-Thought....

Got back to cousin mobile home after going to subway got off the car turnd west to walk to his house after parking my car i so a ball of light next to a mountain i told my wife and kid to look at it.. Boomerang/crescent-like object with row of circles on bottom that arced wing to wing

The object is boomerang/crescent-like in shape and was perhaps 500’ to 700’ away about two tall tree heights above the ground in the next block east of me. It moved north to south at about the speed of a soaring hawk. I would say that the wingspan was at least 30’ wide.

I only saw the object for about 8 seconds or so. It was dark against a dark but slightly back-lit sky. It was as though the object was operating in a camouflage manner as no light was seen other than the circles on the bottom either dimly reflecting street light or possible being ultra dimly lit.

The circles were in a row on the bottom in a variable arc from wing to wing.

I marveled as to how the craft blended in with the night sky/stars.

It went to the left and down the mountain to the left of the tram line, and disappeared behind a lower mountain ridge.

Palm Springs lights

My son and I were sitting by the pool at our apartment in Palm Springs, CA, at approximately 1940 hours on 07/19/2014. We saw reddish orange teardrop objects in the Southern sky towards Indian Canyon.

They appeared to rise from the bottom of the hills and rise to the top.

At first they appeared to be moving towards us as they were rising and then they just kind of disappeared.

The first ones we saw there were about 5 of them and then we saw 3 more of them and then 2 more and no more after that.

They just seemed to move in a almost straight up and then disappear.

The first five we saw rose up really high and then disappeared.

UFO over Palm Springs Metallic object sighted west of Pam Springs, CA around 11:40am on Sunday April 21st. 3 white lights the size and brightness of stars "playfully" circling around each other then flying out of sight in triangle.

In an open space on a hotel property I was informed by another couple to look up in the clear night sky. Almost directly above us my buddy and I observed 3 lights, approximately the brightness and color of medium lit stars. Lights did not blink nor change color. They appeared to be "playful" in the sense that they were making these elliptical turns around each other. Almost like they were playing chase or taking turns cornering each other.

My first impression was that they were birds. This couldn't be the case because they never changed shape or brightness through all their turns and gyrations. If they were aircraft of some sort, the same would apply. They reminded me of satellites that don't flicker or change in brightness as they move across the sky. No noise was ever heard.

After approximately 5 minutes they stopped "dancing" around each other, and steadily flew off and out of sight in a triangle pattern. My experience sounds very similar to the sightings reported here from San Jose, CA, hours earlier that night.

Inexplicable red UFO rises like a distant star, then falls to earth.

The first thing we saw was what looked like a distant star, except that it was glowing red. It was travelling slowly, horizontally.... But then it paused and shot straight up until it looked like a really distant star. It was still red, but then it began an erratic zigzag pattern. Suddenly it began to glow brighter and it seemed to diffuse. The image became bigger and redder and began to slowly descend, becoming more and more diffused, and, therefore, larger. It actually looked like it had fallen to earth. Like something that had silently exploded and fallen to earth like confetti. It was simply beyond belief.

Two white orbs above Downtown Palm Springs, spotted by at least two completely sober people.

My girlfriend (called Y) and I were in the pool this evening and saw two UFOs above Palm Springs. The first one was like a very bright plane with no blinking light, the light itself was very white-white, and it was moving almost like a plane, south over downtown.

Just as Y jokingly said, "Maybe it's a UFO." It proceeded to slow down and slightly change direction (either west, or up... not sure), and over the course of 3 or 4 seconds, the round white light dimmed to orange, then, slowly to red, then it faded out; not behind clouds or anything, it was crystal clear out. And I know that nothing that big and bright could go out of sight relatively instantly.

About 5 minutes later, as we were still in the pool tripping out, she said 'look, another one!' I totally didnt believe her at first, but sure enough, there was an already dim one changing direction and fading out. It was just above the mountain behind Downtown Palm Springs.

I am so pumped we got to see them.

I have seen one up close up, in march so I now know without a doubt they are here.

As I wavered in the wind, for I am where windmills are. the wind gusts were up to 35mph blowing at their usual direction, from west to east in the palm springs-morongo valley wind pass. It was an Exceptionally windy night.

As I had almost decided I needed to get out of the wind, one of the stars I had been looking at, Seemed to flash. Lately I am used to this too because so many plantes are around and making Strange flashes that show all colors of rainbows the more I look. I noticed this star was not in the Night sky the night before, because as it was my birthday, I had made a point to go out and notice Where the stars were because they are in the same position as the day I was born. This star Was not there. As I looked to my right, I noticed a lot of planes really high up, then a plane Caught my eye back to the left, which Is over the southeastern portion of hwy 111 off the Hwy 10. It is virtually desolate and one goes many miles through the middle of the desert To get to palm springs. The plane seemed to be flashing really bright when I realized it Was the star. It looked like it had actually turned on. The plane looked like it was going to go right into this star, when I realized it was so high up that the plane was just a tiny dot in proportion to the immese size of this perfectly round looking planet/star. Immediately, my mind knew it was Just another planet making the wild color show, when low and behold, it flashed bright red! Like a flashlight in the sky! The whole planet,star lit up! Then it flashed to white so fast It was like someone playing with the on off switch, from clear white to red. As it was blowing My mind, just for half a second I looked over to my right where I thought I saw something, But then my left peripheral saw something come out of the planet/star. As I looked back to the planet/star, an ifo craft had shot out of it and flew straight up and then over to The east, in it’s curvy straight way until it disappeared from being so high and going so fast straight to the east.

And then I looked at the planet/star and it had started moving to it’s northwest at the moment The craft launched. The wind was gusting from west to east. It then moved very very slowly northwest then went straight west, into the horizon. I had time to go get my camera but was too excited to get it to work. This all took like 15 minutes for it to cruise out of sight.

It flashed red to white the whole time like it wasn’t worried about being seen, yet where it was is in the Middle of the big desert.

Large dimly lit mass crossed the sky steadily and silently.

My husband and I were on vacation, lying on lounge chairs outside the house we were renting, looking up at the starry night, we saw a huge oval shaped mass the length of many football fields and extremely high in the sky, crossed steadily over us across the night sky. The mass was very dimly lit and almost translucent.

There were several small planes flying by in the air at the same time so we could see how much higher and bigger this mass was compared to a plane.

It was silent and illuminated on the side that was leading it across the sky. Not beams of light coming from it but just illuminated. It moved quickly and steadily until it was out of our view. We continued to ask each other the whole two minutes or so that it crossed over, "What the heck is THAT?" It was too big and too shaped to be a cloud and moved too fast.

My husband and I didn't even believe in UFOs but now that we have seen that together, we're extremely curious and are thankful that we both saw it. We'd love help with an explanation maybe specific to that area since we are not from there.

Mimicking light of the San Jacinto tram light

Light duplicating tram light at the top of San Jacinto.

First sight was the light directly above the tram light, hovering for several minutes, then the light was horizonal to the tram light and hovered there for several minutes then the light moved down the mountain geting dimmer as it decended..

As it moved down the mountain it dimmed until it faded to nothing.

About 4 minutes later it reappeared and started to move slowly back up the mountain.

As it neard the tram light it seemed to join the light and was gone.

Orange fireball viewed near 10 Fwy in CA North of Palm Springs

I saw an orange fireball, I don't think it was a craft. I've seen many shooting stars, and they are always white and much smaller. I was traveling South on HWY 111 about a mile or so South of the 10 Freeway towards Palm Springs. It appeared in the West and was traveling fast to the East. It went behind a mountain that blocked my view and I didn't see anything further. I'm not positive of the time but it was after 7:30 p.m.

Fireball traveling from Palm Springs, Ca. towards Joshua Tree National Monument at 4AM on May 11, 2011.

While traveling east on Interstate 10, my husband and I observed a fireball cross the freeway from South to North at a high rate of speed. It looked low in the sky.

From our perspective, it was about the size of a beachball (not tiny like a star). It disappeared toward Joshua Tree National Monument. We thought that it could be a meteor. There were other people traveling on the freeway at that time and they would have seen it also.

5-6 bright lights in straight line from afar, stationary, not blinking whitish-yellow, up close it's light from a round silent craft.

Unidentified Flying Object? My husband and I were on our way home from a casino (Fantasy Resort) when my husband called my attention. He asked me what object was he seeing and as I looked in front of us (I was looking outside the window on the passenger seat)

I saw a light about 5 or 6 in line. It was so bright and they seemed to appear to be in one line.

Initially, when my husband said, what is that a UFO? I dismissed it and said no maybe a light post (because it reminded me of the lights in the airport. But as we are approaching the light (it is stationary, bright, whitish-yellow in color) I noticed that it was floating.

I said my God this is not an airplane (the lights are not blinking, it is quiet) I looked for my phone camera to take picture of it, but I forgot to open the window and it flashed back to me, we were driving so fast (65 mph) and my husband does not want to slow down, because the cars behind us were driving fast, too.

I was able to look up when we passed by this straight light. At the back of my mind, I said maybe it is just an airplane, so look at the shape, because the light is so bright and you cannot figure it out right away from afar.

I looked-up and it was round and the lights about 5or 6 are underneath the craft. It happened this afternoon (21February2011) between 6:00 and 6:05 PM (at dusk). It was right after or before COOK street in Palm Springs/Indio at freeway 10, we were heading west to our home (Buena Park).

Things happened so fast and I was not able to take another picture of it, but I was able to see it up close (just underneath the craft) I am sure that some motorists may have noticed this light/craft. You cannot miss the bright light ahead of us.

I just want to share it. I don’t know if we have military activity in the area, but I have never seen light that bright and a silent craft that is stationary and I have never seen a round craft before. just wondering what it is.

disc shapped silver object changing form pulsed 3 xs from mountain level went straight up disappeared in seconds

I observed what I thought was a silver mylar balloon floating in a straight line in what is a wash area. Quickly realizing it was too large it began to grow in front of my eyes. It started turning and grew to at least 20 ft across as it grew I could see a structure through the material. The internal structure resembled a birds wing bones.

It became solid and then as it was gliding up the mountainside two concentric rings were visible the inside bubble looked like it held some kind of vapor the outside was a ring of blue as bright as neon. It pulsed and went straight up into the sky pulsed again and again and was only a black dot that disappeared.

Immediately, I noticed flashes of lights to my left and then to my right, it was as if flashbulbs were going off all over the sky. I drew several pictures of the craft as soon as I came back inside.

I has called my mother to view the structure but she did not get there in time.

Orange glowing round globe or ball hovering about 25 degrees above horizon then rapidly accelerating and disappearing to Northwest.

Around 9:08 pm or so on Saturday July 10, 2010, I was driving North on Congress Avenue and was about 1/2 mile from 10th Avenue when I saw an orange glowing ball or balloon shape above the tree line due west in direction (I was looking left out my driver's side window). The planet Venus was at an angle of 35 degrees in the horizon due West and the object was about 25 degrees angle from the horizon slightly to the north of Venus.

The glow was the same color as the Space Shuttle when it launches at night (I've seen about 5 night launches before). The glow looked like a thin ring on the outside with a solid glowing circle at the inside bottom of the ring. The object hovered or moved very slowly northwesterly for about 7-8 seconds. Then it rapidly accelerated and in a perfectly straight line toward the Northwest disappeared past the horizon in about 2 seconds looking more like a small star as it disappeared. I see planes fly over all the time from Palm Beach International Airport and this object was moving about 50-100 times faster when it disappeared. The only thing I've seen in the sky that moved as fast or had such characteristics was the Space Shuttle when it launched and even that wasn't moving as fast nor in such a perfectly straight line.

V shaped craft flying over Palm Springs, CA

I was outside on my patio smoking a cigarette and while I was looking up at the night sky a saw a V shaped object moving slow through the air. It was heading from north to south and flying close to the San Jacinto foothills which I live across the street from. There were no lights or any sounds coming from the craft. I first noticed it when I blocked out a start. If I were not looking up at the time I would have missed it. I can usually hear passenger jets flying high overhead while they are traveling either eastward or westward, but I heard nothing from this thing. I would estimate that the craft was about thousand feet or less in the air and its size was about the same as a Boeing 737. I have live in Palm Spring for nearly 10 years and this is the third time I have seen something strange flying through the night sky. I love this place.

another craft sighting near the san jacinto mountains in california.

i went outside last night for a smoke on to my patio. it was close to 1:30 am, i was looking towards the hillside of the San Jacinto mountains. i live across the street, so i am very close. Anyway, i saw this thing fly by. it moved in a straight line and was going very swiftly though the air. it was about the size of a city bus, long and narrow. i could not make out to much other detail, but the street lights did refect off the underside. it was traveling from north to south. it made no sound and there were no flashing lights on the craft. This is the second time in past few months that i have seen something strange in the skies above palm springs. the last time, i saw 4 round flying discs. they flew over head, no lights, no sounds, heading north to south, and it was obvious each craft was being independly piloted by the way they were moving through the air.

Bright scooting light just disappears

Observed at a nearly 90 degree angle. As I was looking at the sky, a moving triangularly-shaped light caught my eye. There were no flashing or colored lights, simply one bright light. As it scooted across the sky I tried to peg it as maybe a shooting star (too slow and steady for that), a satellite, or aircraft(questionably large and bright for these objects, also no flashing lights observed). As I was considering the possiblitites, it simply vanished. It did not reappear. No cloud cover this evening; no obstacles in my view.

Triangular lights falling toward Earth

From Palm Springs looking northeast (toward Desert Hot Springs/Joshua Tree). Blue-white light triangular objects traveling south to north, falling toward the ground, at about a 25 degree angle from our point of reference.

We considered them as "shooting stars", but both agreed they were brighter and larger than any either of us has observed. About 3 minutes apart from each other.

The light from the objects faded as they fell, then disappeared.

4 round disc flying over palm springs on the night of oct. 26, 2008

i was out on my patio smoking around 10:30 last night. i turned to the north and was looking up at the night sky when i notice 4 objects flying together in a loose formation. i stared at them as they flew over head and saw no lights and heard no sounds. they were all round, about 30 to 40 feet across. Black Triangle over Palm Springs California

I was standing outside on a balcony of a condo that is very close to the Palm Springs airport. I was talking on the phone and was looking up into the night sky. I was describing the weather to a friend of mine when I noticed a triangular shaped object moving silently in the sky above me but not directly above me. It was fairly high up and was completely dark. The only way I was able to see it was because the city lights were reflecting off of it. If I hadn't looked up I never would have seen it. It was very dark in color like a slate gray except for circles at the tips of the triangles and perhaps circles in between and in the center. It happened so fast and I was so stunned by what I was seeing that I can't be sure of the number of circles. The circles looked to be a light gray. I had the impression that the circles were like bumps. It moved fairly slowly toward the East. Because it was so dark, I was unable to see it for very long and it soon disappeared into the eastern sky.

The clincher was that after viewing the bright peachy/orange/red light it moved perpendicular to where I was standing vanished in 2sec.

I am a 58 year old male, former science/math teacher, bakery/restaurant owner, realtor. I am the only person here, in my home who witnessed what I am reporting.

It was approximately 8pm, I was seated , relaxing with two of my three dogs.

I have a full view of the mountains (the San Jacinto Mt. range). I have floor to ceiling windows which allow me a pretty full view of the sky and the mountains.

While seated, I saw an abnormally bright peachy/red/orange light approach. It was as if it appeared from out in the sky, not from over the mountain top, like a jet or helicopter. It was the color that caught me off guard. We have many helicopters flying to the Desert Hospital over head, but this was not the same, they usually come from the south.

The item in my view was much higher in the sky, and actually much brighter. It moved from the top of the mountain range, east, slowly, maintaining its brightness.

The brightness was such that I could not discern any shape. It was as if I were approaching a car with bright lights on in the evening, a stary glare.

I immediately felt that due to its color, which did not change, that it was very peculiar. I was tempted to go inside and get my camera, but was afraid I would miss something, movement, whatever.

So, I kept watching it. It moved from the mountain top to approximately 1/3 - ½ across the sky. It stopped, as if hovering, as if it was a helicopter, and then, it took off, perpendicular to where I was standing, out into space and the very bright light was gone in less then a two seconds.

I tried to garner any fragment of light available by using the light sensitive area of the outer peripheral portion of my eye, but it was gone.

Three Identical Craft Sighted Over Palm Spings, California Slowly Come Together...And Vanish.

On Sunday, November 18, 2007, my partner and I observed three UFO's flying high in the late afternoon sky over Palm Springs, California. The sightings occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. The crafts remained visible to the naked eye for about five minutes before disappearing.

We were in the downtown area of Palm Springs when the sighting occurred. I was the first to notice something unusual. I was looking up towards the moon (which was clearly visible to me at that hour) when I spotted an elongated boomerang, or triangular shaped craft flying in a southwest direction. At first, the object appeared to be flying in a straight line like a normal aircraft. It also seemed to be at about the same altitude that a commercial aircraft normally flies while at cruising altitude, approximately 25,000-35,000 feet. From that distance, I would estimate the size of the craft to be similar in size to a small to medium sized commercial aircraft.

While watching the unidentified craft for a minute or so, I noticed that it started to move in ways that normal aircraft don’t. It slowly came to a stop, suspended in midair like a helicopter. That’s when I pointed it out to my partner, who saw the object as clearly as I had. The craft then moved around its location sluggishly and, in what appeared to be, a somewhat erratic fashion. All of the sudden, two other identical craft came into view in close relative proximity to the fist craft. The three objects began to slowly “wobble” towards a center point. For about four or five minutes they leisurely moved around and, on occasion, become completely stationary. Once the objects reached their center point destination, they vanished from sight.

It should be noted that the sky at that time of day was perfectly clear with exceptional visibility. Each craft was identical in size and shape to one another. Another unusual attribute of the crafts was that although they were shaped like a boomerang, they flew with the curvature to one side. In other words, the objects flew “sideways”.

About the witnesses: I am a 47 year-old marketing executive and creative consultant to the motion picture industry. I hold a B.A. degree in Radio, Television, and Film from a major university in southern California. I am an FAA licensed pilot certified to fly single engine aircraft.

My partner is also 47 years old and has post-graduate degrees in Political Science and Art History from a prestigious and internationally recognized university.

A star like any other in the sky, moved in such a way, that it could not have been an airplane.

Initially, I thought it was an airplane, but it moved backward, it moved to the side, it stopped several times, and continued in this fashion.

There was no color or blinking.

I wondered if it could have been a helicopter making those moves, but the altitude seemed higher than any helicopter that I know of.

A fuzzy shaped object crossed the sky, that was from my perspective, the size and shape of a medicine capsule. It quickly crossed the sky and then did a zig-zag motion for about a second, and then kept speeding in the original direcion.

Large Rectangle object traveling south to north, no sound,over Palm Springs.

WE (four) were in the pool in a downtown private resort in Palm Springs on 01/08/06 at 22:00 approx.

I noticed a large rectangular object moving (length-wise)from south to north. The other 3 persons also at that moment seen and observed it. It was about 2000 ft./2500 ft. approx. in altitude and appeared to be 30 feet in width and 90 feet in length. The duration of travel was around 22 seconds and then we lost sight due to tree line and buildings. None of us know what it could have been, and even though it was quite a phenomenal sight, none off us think of it much, consciously or subconsciously.

Dark, unlit, wing-shaped UFO flew over Palm Springs - NNW to SSE - 12:05 am 9/26/05

12:05 just after midnight. I went in my backyard, it was very dark, I got into the spa, sat back and looked up. I was facing NNE. Cassiopeia was in my field of vision. A faint lighted area caught my eye and I watched it move across the sky. It was not a bank of lights but like a vehicle without its lights on. The moon (sliver) was rising in the east and could have been reflecting off it. Or the lights of the city beneath. I thought it was a group of birds but it didn't change configuration like a group of flying birds would do. As I have seen them do before. I thought to myself, 'I'm seeing a UFO.' I could not continuously look directly at it because it was too dark. I looked around it more often, to see it better, as it went over. I could definitely see that it was wing-shaped and looked like there were end structures (see the graphic I include with this: pswing.jpg) I started seeing it when it was passing Cassiopeia and it faded away (at about 50 degrees up in the sky.) It travelled from NNW to SSE. Made no sound. Was the only one I saw.

About fifteen minutes later I saw what looked like a meteor fly UP in the north but it left no trail light. Just started and stopped quickly. By up, I mean it went from closer to the horizon, up towards the center of the sky. It looked like a small light encircled by another light.

The triangular object was a dull orange and I watched it travel in front of the San Jacinto Mountain range from North by Northwest (point of discovery of object in sky)to the South at a high rate of speed in a downwarl sloping pattern and you could see the object turn on its side (which changed the figuration of the triangle)and banking upward (15 degrees)then dissapearing beyond the Southern horizon. No audible sound, no flashing lights... Just a dull orange glow.

UFOs Masquerade As Constellation

During a pool party at our house, one guest remarked about the stars in the bright blue sky. Everyone looked and sais it was the Little Dipper constellation. I said that you don't see stars in the daytime, much less one constellation. The 11 ( I think) "stars" were very bright and 80 deg. north of us.

I ran in to get my binoculars, and in the 30 seconds it took me to get back outside, some had disappeared and others were moving. I followed 2 heading southeast and saw a fuzzy capsule shaped object- still very bright. In the binoculars, it looked like it was "bouncing" and I told our guest so and she said it looked to her like it was going in a straight line. Another thing I noticed was that the sky around it was a deeper blue.

I was returning home about 2:30 a.m. I was driving east on Ramon Road. At Avenida Cabelleros, I looked ahead and saw a round craft with pulsing white lights around the perimeter, about treetop level above the street about four blocks ahead of me. I noticed that there were no other cars on Ramon at that time. I became afraid, and I quickly turned into the Ramon Park, went inside my house and woke my husband up, and we both went outside and watched the object in the sky further east and higher up now.

I saw a bright object in the western sky over the San Jacinto Mts. shoot a colored orb from its body.

This is my second report to your center and it is not an isolated siting for me. I awoke at 5:00 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2004. I observed the large bright orb in the eastern sky over the San Jacinto Mountains that I have been observing over the past several days. It only appears sometime between 3:00 and 5:00 am. (I get up frequently throughout the night and I always look to see if it is there and it never is in site before 3:00 am.)At this time I also observed 2 colored orbs that pulsated colors of green, red, and blue. They were very visable through my binoculars and they appeared to be circular or saucer shape. I lowered my binoculars and watched the sky, from the bright light orb shot a colored orb. I woke up my husband, who isn't as absorbed in these sitings as I am, after I saw the colored orb shoot from the bright object, he came and looked through the binoculars and saw the colored orbs as well. I continued to watch the sky and as I did, 3 more orbs approached (smaller than the two already in sight) and lined up vertically between the two larger colored orbs. As I watched, the large white orb slowly ascended higher into the sky as well as the colored orbs. I know they are ascending slowly because the mountains are my scale, they appear initially just over the mountain and as the hour goes by, they slowly ascend upwards until they disappear into the sky.

I think that what I am witnessing is very unusual and warrents further investigation from someone. Will someone please get a hold of me? The other part of this sighting is the bright light orb that appears in the western sky over the San Jacinto Mountains in the evening prior to the morning that it appears over the mountains in the eastern. It always begins to appear around 8-8:30 pm and slowly desends over the mountain until it disappears behind the mountain range. It takes about an hour for it to descend and dip below the range of my view. (The last report that I submitted I mentioned the Santa Rosa Mountains, my husband corrected me indicating that it is all the San Jacinto Mountain range that encompasses the valley where we live.) My husband observes the bright object as well and agrees that it is very unusual and it does move slowly.

What the heck am I witnessing????? I do not have the proper equipment to record my sightings, however, you are welcome to come and set up shop at my home so that you can record it.

I saw a flashing colored orb in the eastern sky over the San Jacinto Mountains.

What I have been witnessing began on July 19, 2004 at approximately 2:30 am. I live in a canyon of Palm Springs, CA that is surrounded by the San Jacinto and the Santa Rosa Mountains. Our home has many large windows that open up to view the mountains. I awoke to use the restroom around 2:30 am and was taken aback by a large white "light" that was literally illuminating my bathroom. The light was too big to be a star and was very close to the mountain top (it was in the eastern sky). It had some dimision to it but I can't really say what shape it was, it was just the brightest light I had ever seen. I woke my husband because I didn't want to be the only one to see it, he looked at it and agreed that he appeared to be too large and bright to be a star. The following evening at around 9:30 pm I looked over the mountains to see if I could see this light and it wasn't there, however, there was an orb that was flashing blue, green and red lights, I observed it closer with a pair of binoculars and it appeared to be pulsating. My husband saw it also. We went to bed and I woke up around midnight and again at 2:30 am, the orb was still there flashing but the bright light was not there. I went back to bed to awake again at 4:30 am and the bright light was there again, in the same spot, there were more colored flashing orbs around the sky but not as close as the one observed earlier in the evening. I have been watching the sky every night since. On Thursday, July 23, 2004 I was driving down Highway 111 in Palm Springs around 8:30 am, it was dusk and I saw this bright light in the western sky over the Santa Rosa Mountain range, it appeared to be moving slowly downward towards the mountain. I got home and got my husband to come out and look, he saw it also, the light continued to drift downward until it disappeared behind the mountain range. I looked around the sky and with my binoculars, I could see several flashing orbs, all with green, red and blue lights. Every evening since July 19th I have awoken at different times during the night to see if the light is in the eastern sky, it has never appeared before 12:30 am and is always still visable until the sun rises. As I watch the light it slowly drifts upward. Interestingly enough, the light in the western sky that drifts in and down appears to be the same light that settles over the mountain in the eastern sky to only drift back up until out of sight.

My siting last evening is what has compelled me to report these sightings. I awoke at 12:38 am and looked out towards the eastern sky over the San Jacinto Mountains and I saw a circular shaped orb that had red, green, and blue lights on it and it was hovering in a stationary position over the mountain. It was the same orb that I have seen in the sky higher up only this time it was low almost sitting on the mountain. I watched it for about 15 seconds and then it just disappeared, I stood there with my mouth to the floor breaking out into a cold sweat. As I kept my eyes glued to the sky, the orb reappeared, flashing and hovering and then dipped below the mountain range. The bright light was not in the sky. I awoke at 4:30 am again to find the bright white light hovering in the same position that I saw the circular orb. I am pretty freaked out at this point and I am starting to think I'm crazy. Has anyone else in the Palm Springs area reported such a siteing? I know that I will see the light again tonight, It seems to be getting closer to the mountains every evening. The orbs continue to flash about the sky around this area. Any clues as to what this could be??????? I am sorry that I have not photographed my siteing, however, I plan on trying to this evening.

Strange lights over Palm Springs, CA

My wife and I were on vacation in Palm Springs two weeks ago. When walking back to the hotel from dinner with two friends from Switzerland that we met at our hotel, the four of us stopped to admire the night sky, so clear in the desert air. As we looked up, our eyes were drawn to motion. Four or five lights, indistinguisable from stars, suddenly moved very quickly in separate curvilinear paths and disappeared. It was a few seconds of motion in total, directly overhead. One in our group said aloud 'um, did you see that?' We all had.

Whereas I've seen metorites in the past, they've all featured tails as they burned and broke up in the atmoshpere. These lights did not - they simply were dots of light that moved extremely fast and disappeared. This, I cannot explain.

Sighting occured near the corner of W. Arenas and S. Cahuilla in downtown Palm Springs. It's been on my mind ever since so I figured I should search out a registry and report it.

Multiple sightings of groups of small reflective silver spheres.

This is the third time I have seen these objects. I live in Palm Springs near the airport. Last summer while out for an afternoon walk, I glanced at the sky and saw a group of at least 50 silver spheres slowly moving across the valley from the southeast toward the northwest. At first I thought they were birds but they were spread out in strings and groupings. Some would break away and then circle back. I watched until I could no longer see them and decided they must be mylar balloons that had broken loose and were floating on the air current. Two weeks ago at work near College of the Desert, I looked up and saw the same objects - maybe 20 or 30 traveling in the same direction as before. I watched as they slowly moved across the sky and observed that some seemed to be tethered together in a line which would make a circle and then open up again. They were all in a group but very stretched out. Today while getting my mail, I looked up and saw them again. At first only one, then briefly a very small group clustered together. This group turned in unison, flashed in the sun, and disappeared. Birds, I thought. Just then a commercial jet which had just taken off proceeded from west to east. A single small, very silver orb paced the plane at exactly the same speed at what seemed to be 100 yards distance from the right wing. Definitely not a bird. I watched as it paced the plane for approximately one minute. The plane headed northeast and the sphere then went east and I lost it. I looked again before entering my house and spotted it due east about 30 degrees above the horizon. It was still and looked like a bright star. I watched it for another minute and then went inside. I am curious as to what is going on.

From inside my home, I heard the sound of a low flying helicopter coming towards the house. I went outside onto my front lawn and when I looked up I saw a globe of light traveling at a moderate speed with no sound emiting from it and a helicopter with no lights(could see its sillouet) following it at the same speed approximatly 300 yards behind it. They were both heading south across the mountainside at approximatly 250 to 300 feet in elevation. I watched them both till they were out of eyes range.

on april 13, 2002, at 10 pm against a clear, starry nite, i observed a formation flying east to west above my home...very large formation...i could see the stars thru this formation and it seemed that the outer lites were connected with a "lazer-type" beam to the inner lites...as if to keep them in formation. I also saw this formation change about 5 minutes later, split into 2 formations, one reminded me of a kite, but i now know it was replicating the Little Dipper. Listening to Peter Davenport on the Art Bell show tonight 11-22-03..i think this is what they saw in New York, or similar to it. this event recurred on 4-14-03 but not in the same formations and my husband also saw them on 4=14=03

Golf Course sighting of Bright Light Disc

At La Quinta Golf Course. they have two 18 hole courses we were on the course nearest the entrance and condos. We saw the UFO on the 11th hole, it is a slight dog leg left with water on the left, condo's on the right. Standing on the Tee box looking down the hole about 423 yds we saw a bright light almost too bright to look at. It seemed to have a round/disc shape. This light was hovering above the green eraticaly moving up and down about 10 to 15 feet at a time. The size of this light was within the size of the green no more than 25-30 feet across. The thickness of the light was about 3-4 feet.

The erratic movement stopped after about 25 seconds the light moved up about 30 feet stopped, then moved towards us on the Tee box it made no sound we felt no wind, the light went above us and between us as we both turned inward to watch the UFO go by.

It gained altitude and speed we watched it to about 150 feet high and maybe 800 yards in distance when it dissapered.

We traveled down towards the green and saw a couple (man and wife?) gardening at the condo closest to the "Green" . We asked them if they saw what we saw ( it was very close to them) They looked at us as if we were joking with them and said they saw / heard nothing.

A few days later I heard, third hand that UFO's had been reported in Plam Springs the same day.

Brilliant Green Fireball moves slowly from high in the SE to low in the SW

I have often heard you talk about brilliant green flashes of light seen in the sky. Tonight I saw mine! at 8:13pm Pacific... it moved for about 4 seconds from high in the south east to low in the southwest... I'm in Palm Springs looking out my office window facing south... Very big... about half the size of a full moon... or just hold you thumb out in front of you... it was at least as big as your thumbnail. Brilliant lime green color... breaking apart as it moved across and down... leaving little miniature versions of itself in it's wake turning yellow then red and orange. The tail was long... about the length of your index finger stretched out in front of you. I watched it disappear behind the Horizon to the west... which here in Palm Springs is the San Jacinto Mountains... to the west. Very spectacular... thought you might want to compare with other sightings.

Dull Black Triangle with unattached capsule hovering briefly, then took off at an unbelievable speed-no noise!

Although it has been 11 years, I always felt I should report this. My head would not allow me to admit that this was anything other than a government experiment.

I had rented a car out of Palm Springs, Ca., to drive too San Francisco and fly back to Mass. I was about a half hour out of Palm Springs, northwest on RT 10. @ approx. 9am. I was on a long stretch through the desert that seemed never ending. A "very distant" mountain range off to my left. It was so far away, it looked small. But I knew it was hundreds of miles away. There was a car in front of me about 1 mile ahead.

I happened to notice, all of a sudden, something in the air almost above me. I leaned forward too look out, and up, and off to the right side of my car. About 200-300 feet in the air was a perfect triangle shaped object just hovering there! I said, what ((is that)), and slammed on my brakes.

I also noticed a car about a mile ahead had pulled over. (The only other vehicle in sight)

I opened my door and got out to see this. It was a triangle about the size of a small plane! It was a dull black color like I have never seen before. No windows, no lights, no rivets to support it’s construction (very smooth), no sound, no movement. It was thicker in the middle, but didn’t look big enough for a person to be in it!

Now, this is the part that has been unsettling for me. Next to the object was a capsule hovering next to it maybe a few feet away from the craft. (Not Connected) Looked like a Tylenol Capsule two tone colors and about 3 feet long! Half was gray and the other half was purple of sort. Keep in mind these colors were very dull with no shine to them.

The craft rotated about 90 degrees, as did the unattached capsule.

Then it shot off toward the mountain range at a speed that was unbelievable. It went up and over the mountain range and was gone! The mountain range was "far" away. It took about 2 seconds from the time it shot off, until it was out of sight.

The unattached capsule stayed with it. No Noise, No air stream, Nothing!

I got in my car and drove on. I turned up the music and told myself it was a government thing, and tried to forget.

Over the years I have read about UFO sightings, waiting for one to describe what I had seen. A lot of triangular shaped crafts, but "never anything about a capsule" somehow held close unattached, maybe by magnetic science.

The speed and lack of noise was unbelievable!

All this happened in about 40 seconds!

I was traveling north by automobile when I observed an object traveling in a southernly direction at a very slow rate of speed. I stopped and stayed in my car while it continued to descend until it was hidden from my view behind a 3 or 4 story building. It was a large oval shape. The underside was completely illuminated in a white light with several flashing white lights.

I was traveling north by automobile in central Palm Springs on El Segundo St. between the convention center and the Spa Hotel & Casino on November 30, 1999 at about 5:45 pm. I observed a large oval object in the sky coming towards me in a southwesterly direction. I stopped and stayed in my car while I observed it. I had no competition from street lights since Palm Springs has few of them. It was at a low altitude and was descending. I continued to watch it until it was hidden from my view behind a 3 or 4 story building. The underside was completely illuminated in soft white light. Several flashing white lights were located around the perimeter. I continued to observe it for about 3 minutes. It did not resemble a blimp, but I did try to contact the Palm Springs Airport but was unable to navigate through the menus to reach a human to confirm if a blimp had been in the area.

Saturday AM 2:30 -3:00 July 24th 1999. Palm Springs, Grenfell Avenue. Flying South. Got back to our appartment looking at a meteorite shower in the southern sky. A Triangular shaped object moved slowly from North to South. At first we presumed it was flying high because of the silence, but that would have made the size of the object huge. We agreed that it was flying a few thousand feet up MAX. The underside lighting was very, very subtle not at all what I would imagine. They were rectangular, very dim ,orange, arranged in pairs in a triangular formation, if we had not been looking for meteorites we would not have noticed it. We watched it for about 10 seconds before it turned very slowly in an Eastern direction and dissapeared. It must have passed over Palm Springs Airport...did anybody else witness this?

Gold triangle over Palm Springs

The object appeared to the east of Palm Springs at about 2:15 PM, Flew across the moon's face from a east to west direction, then came to a complete stop about 2" above the moon.

Object then moved southerly for about 10" then came to a stop. Once again moved in a south to north direction across the moon's face and stopped to the north of Palm Springs over Desert Hot Springs, Ca..

Object hovered for about 15 to 20 min. I noticed that the object rotated in a counter clock wise motion, which would flash when the sun ray's hit the object. The Object appeared to be an upright Triangle made of gold.

When i lost sight of it, i figured that was the last of it, Then about 30 min's later i spotted the object once again hovering over Palm Springs, but the object appeared to be about a good 3 to 4 miles high.

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE SPOTTED THE OBJECT.

2 UFO's hovering 3 stories up from the ground

I was walking toward my sister’s apartment, which was a corner unit close to the side of the road. Catty corner from where I was standing is, first a 4 to 5 lane road, after which is an entirely different apartment complex that is 2 stories high. It was evening but not 100% dark yet, both apartment lights had automatically come on by this time. I looked across the street at our neighboring apartments to see some lights floating above the building. The lights matched the color of the apartment lights which were orange (that industrial orange you see everywhere). I thought I was seeing things so I covered the apartments from my view with my right hand... I then saw what it was that was floating above the apartments.

I was amazed to see 2 UFO’s they were round, and both had 3 lights shining, the lights were round and placed in a triangle pattern at the bottom of the UFO. They were literally 3 stories from the ground. They hovered around each other, in very close proximity to each other, without making a sound. They did this for what seemed to be 1-2 minutes before accelerating to speeds of, I can’t even make an educated guess at how extremely fast they took off toward the east. They took off almost parallel to the earth (if that makes any since) in other words they didn’t go straight up they left at an angle. Their speed literally went from maybe 1-2 mph to an excess of 200 mph in 1 second. They both left at the exact same time as if they both knew it was time to go. As they left, they made not one sound, they were gone and I haven’t seen them again since, although I wish I would catch another glimpse of them because they do fascinate me. I can only imagine the view from someone in that apartment complex, to have walked outside, looked up and seen 2 UFO’s hovering above them only 3 stories from reach. Amazing!!!!

Got up early to see the waning moon and how close Venus was to it. Sky is very clear in the desert - no lights near because we are in the north part of town. Looking up at the stars I suddenly saw two lights moving very very high up, from west to east. I said to my partner to look at the lights and she saw them as well - no form discernible. It was the fastest thing I had ever seen (I was an Air Force brat and have been around planes since I was a kid). We followed the lights to the east when they made a very sudden ZIG ZAG and disappeared. I timed this afterwards by counting the time it took for me to move my head to see this - it was seven (7) seconds, and then it was gone.

We rose early in the morning of Sunday January 30, 2000 about 5.15 am PST to see the last quarter of the moon and how close Venus was to it. Our property is in the north part of the city of Palm Springs - higher than the town itself, so there isn't light reflection from the city. My partner went outside on to the patio and turned all the lights off. After looking at the moon we then tilted our heads to look at the stars in the clear desert sky -it was exceptionally clear. As I looked back to the east I saw two lights, very very high, moving very very fast and said to my partner - look at those lights, what's that? The lights moved eastward and then after a few (maybe 5 seconds)seconds, zig zagged sharply to the left and then disappeared. I was very careful to note the time and then timed the incident again by moving my head (I'd previously timed it by saying one and two and - to get the seconds count. I subsequently (during the day I timed a jet) and found that the jet was 5 times slower than what we had seen. The lights moved together; they were tiny, almost pinpoint but the lights themselves were really bright even though small. There was just one object even although we couldn't see any form. This incident took place at our weekend home in Palm Springs, CA.
