Descending blue/white orb

Descending blue orb appear out of nowhere, shined bright blue/white light, briefly intensifying. As it moved in falling arcing motion from left to right (west to East) across horizon (viewing north from south of object’s position), its light intensified and it had a short tail that appeared to be the same light as the orb itself, then it extinguished in the air.

The cylinder seemed transparent with swirling red,orange and yellow particles and a detached sphere behind it.

I was swimming in my swim spa when I noticed a dark shadow in the sky no light was being emmitted to the naked eye. I could see nothing except a slight shadow .When I put my infrared binoculars on it I recorded 2 minutes of what I described above. At about 1 min a dark matter entered the cylinder and all the colored particles dissapeared The object slowly faded and started to dissapear. It seemed the camera was malfunctioning, but it was not. The infared records in B&W, I see color through the the lens. I have other recordings . Mt Shasta is about 50 miles away. I can send the video

Mass Sighting of Hundreds (Maybe Thousands) of Unidentified Lights in the Sky for Approximately One Hour in Northern California

At approximately 4:20 A.M. P.D.T. I went out to my backyard in Redding, California for meditation. Looking up I observed many (hundreds if not thousands) individual points of light maintaining a set distance from one another moving towards the southwest. A very few were moving in the opposite direction over the course of my hour observance. Multiple planes going various directions were also noted, seemingly flying at lower altitudes. At one point off to my right I caught a flash of light moving at an incredible rate of speed towards the northeast. Its speed and light trail made it seem not as a meteor. This sighting lasted for about an hour, after which cloud cover precluded further clear observation. A cell phone captured some photos and video.

String of dozens of solid lights

High altitude string of non-blinking yellow lights viewed in eastern sky traveling north. Most were evenly spaced apart. Looked like a very long string of military formation planes but way too fast, lasting way too long, no blinking lights and so many it would have to be some sort of massive movement larger than I’ve ever seen outside of the history channel for a world war. Giant tracer rounds would make sense if they were not so precisely traveling straight across the same path at the same speed across the entire skyline without changing color speed or drifting. All 4 of the 5 witnesses work in healthcare

Objects seen with appearance of strange cloud.

On February 23, 2021 my son and I were out on our back deck at about 7:00 p.m. (PST). We were looking to the north east and the sun had been down for about an hour or so. It was relatively clear out. The temperature was a comfortable sixty degrees. We wore light jackets.

We had been fooping around and my son looked up to the sky. He saw an odd looking cloud in the sky. He asked “is it just me, or does it look like something from another world just crashed?”. The cloud extended clear from the eastern horizon nearly to the western horizon. It was shaped like icing squeezed from a piping bag across a dark blue cake. We wanted to take pictures of the odd looking cloud so I got out my phone to take a picture. (Pictures sent to the email in the website).

Then, my son saw a bright object appear but did not see where it came from. Then my son saw the object make a straight path downward, then make a u-turn back up. I didn’t notice this while it occurred and while I was taking the photographs. My son also saw it change shape from a helicopter shape to a bright oval, and then speed away and appeared to change into a bird.

I was watching tv as they were showing live video from a camera on top of a building in Redding, CA, and I witnessed a saucer shaped object emerge from the area of the bottom of the screen and shot off to the right of the screen. Movement of the object was extremely fast, so I paused the live stream and rewatched it in slow-mo to get a better view. I took a picture of the screen that illustrates what I saw. Two black dots playing hide and seek.

I spent four years in the Marine Corps as a Stinger gunner. A stinger is a shoulder fired anti aircraft missile.

At least 50 percent of my training was spent studying the size, shape and characteristics of over 400 worldwide aircraft. Both foreign and domestic.

Military, and civilian.

I was Discharged “Honorably” as a Non commissioned officer.

Because of my background, I’ve lived life with my eyes trained on the sky.

Approximately two months ago while walking from my house to my vehicle.

I looked up briefly and scanned the sky. Taking pause for a moment on a section between a cloud formation, and at A range of about 10,000 ft slightly southwest of my position.

I immediately spotted a single black dot with absolutely no identifiable characteristics. Clearly this wasn’t any conventional aircraft I’m am familiar with.

This dot caught my attention as it moved out from the cloud for 2 seconds, and then reversing course immediately going back into the cloud.

The object continued with this behavior 3 times before a second object of the same size and shape followed it into the adjacent cloud formation. These radical movements simply could not have been accomplished by any aircraft I’m familiar with. The speed with which they moved at that altitude was astonishing.

I honestly never thought I would see anything in the sky that I was unable to explain to some degree .

I did however.

I believe my military background, and experience Lends a great deal of credibility to my opinion.

10 light objects moving slowly, evenly spaced; manifesting from empty space between two stars. Drifted until out of sight.

I was on top of a hill with a clear view of the night sky - there wasn't much light polution so I took the moment to gaze up. An empty spot between a few spaced stars suddenly filled with light and slowly moved east toward Lassen. I followed it assuming it was a sattilite, but then another one appeared from the same empty space following the exact course and speed as the first light. Then another, and another untill I counted ten in all. Each moved across the sky perfectly spaced never excellerating or slowing. They remained on a straight course until no longer visible. Not sure how significant what I seen is, but it was weird enough to push me to write this.

20-30 single lighted flying objects flying steadily in linear formation coming out of the west and heading eastward.

We were outside finishing yard work due to the sun coming down and one of our 6 year old twins noticed a light flying overhead. My husband and I watched and didn’t see any flashing lights as we would normally see on airplanes. It had a steady white light. Then as that one kept flying we noticed another appeared behind it. Then another and another and another. Each flew in what looked like the exact same latitude longitude path of the preceding flying object. We could only see about 4-5 at one time in the sky before the next one came and the furthest out of view range heading eastward. They were flying with even space between them. We sat on the ground watching as more and more appeared out of the western sky. We attempted to take video on our iPhones but because it was so dark out it only showed black. We waited until the last one flew passed. I am estimating that it was between 20-30 flying objects. The shape was not clear as it was dark and they appeared t! o be high up and all we could make out was each individual light. No noise was heard.

300 plus ships in a sequential formation over California

We 4 were outside smoking a cigarette, and we look up and see what appears to be a satellite. Then we realize that it is flying north in sequential order, and we watch at least 150+ go by in a straight line. They appeared to be at least 40,000 feet up. We saw a few more fleet go by after the few hundred steady stream, and these 20 or so quickly maneuvered from due north to south and south west directions. We were using binoculars and could see that it had two lights, one on each side of a darkened body. The final ship at the end of the fleet, shot off its rocket boosters and sped up incredulously. It was a fascinating, amazing, yet eerie as hell sight. We called a friend working out in Palo Cedro, about 30 minutes east of us, and this person could witness this event as well, and could see even clearer than us due to less light pollution and no tree lines. We were all wondering what the cause of this event was. WE guessed maybe 300 ships were seen total and e! ven more formations happening. Two people from our group have driven out somewhere with less lights to see if they can further witness any event happening. I dont usually believe in UFOs but i tried to google what i saw because we were all so stunned and it lead me to this site. We tried to take video but our phones couldn't capture this event even though you could clearly see this event happening with the naked eye. Something was preventing our binocs from fully focusing on the aircraft.

At first it was a huge ball of light so bright after looking at it I saw spots. It faded to darkness and came back three times. After than it took the shape of a cigar and there were many red lights on the bottom of it but it illuminated a white light from the front. Again it did this 2 times switching from bright white ball to cigar shaped red then as it started to move south another cigar shaped object with red lights conjoined with the white light from the first object, it went super huge bright white light and disappeared.

Went outside around 145am on June 8th just to get some fresh air and I always look up to the sky when it's clear, and it was...I was looking towards the North sky area and detected a large bright "light" in the sky...it looked very high in the sky and was slow moving as though it was a helicopter but much too high for that and there was no sound...as I said the light was very bright and slowly moving in what looked like a SE direction...the object then just disappeared and I could not see it any longer… It was a clear night...I thought later that maybe the ISS might have a Bright Light under it so people could see it pass over, don't know, maybe you might know...nothing else, but, will keep my eye to the sky.

Huge Multi-light array, pulsating lights, honeycomb array somewhat egg shapped. Naked eye looks like a bright star,

Eastern Shasta County, directly east from Redding, California, towards Lassen Volcanic Park. Bright "star" like object spotted in night sky for several months. With Naked eye looks like very bright star. With binoculars it actually is a many lights array configuration, shaped in a rather egg shape sphere, sort of like a huge honeycomb. All Lights pulsate and are positioned precisely throughout the sphere, not just the edges. The actual sphere appears to be static, not flying or moving. Lights are sometimes all white, sometimes lights are red, blue, green, purplish, and white. There is a larger light that goes around the outer rim of the configuration, seems to be pulsating-signaling.

As of December we have noticed more than one of these, at least (3) nightly, light configurations hanging in space in the vicinity of the Lassen Mountain-Cascade range. Time frame that they are seen is normally around 9:30 p.m. to around 7:30 a.m. On Friday, December 6, 2018, one of the arrays emitted what looked like a mirror image of itself, and that mirror image pulsated-floated off towards the north. Original configuration remained static in place.

Anyone know what these light arrays are? Could not get a photo with my Canon EOS 60D. Sorry. Thanks for the help in informing us what these might be.

Green fireball outlives its tail !

My wife and I live in Redding Ca.

On Wednesday evening, Aug. 30, 2018, at apprx. 8:20 PM , (still daylight ) , we were in our car going to town.

We were driving north on a suburban road, when straight ahead in our windshield we both saw at the same time, a bright green fire ball with a burning orange color tail.

It was traveling from east to west from an elevation of about 35 degrees, down to about 10 degrees. When it was about two thirds of the way in its trajectory, the tail went out but the bright green ball continued on for about one second. The total duration of the sighting was about 3 seconds.

This is the fourth thing like this I have seen over a period of about 20 years, all in California.

The other three flared and burned up and looked to be gone, unlike this one that kept going after the tail was gone. Seemed kind of unusual to me.

Myself and sons were driving down I-5 south, from Redding to Anderson, when I noticed a larger than normal chem trail close to the direction of the sun it was about noon I was telling my kids look at that crazy light today was pretty bright so I just assumed it was the reflection off the sun I watched it myself for about ten second the kids a little less, but it was the brightest thing I ever seen it was circle shape as I approached an over pass that we went under mind you the speed limit is 70 mph we went under came out it was gone it disappeared in Couple seconds.

Stargazing I saw a star just appear then moves slowly then gradually fade out

For about the last twenty years, I usually go out for ten to twenty minutes before I go to bed each night to have a look at the stars. I usually look very carefully for areas that are darker than the night sky, hoping to see one of the black triangle craft.

I was only out for a few minutes looking at the area of Taurus, and a reddish orange star just appeared. It was almost in the middle between the two stars that make the horns of Taurus. It was a little brighter than Aldebaran, and then got slightly brighter. I was watching it for a few seconds not sure if it was a star or not when I could see that it was wavering slightly side to side.

It then started moving slowly in an arc heading east. I knew then it was not a star and started to walk to my door to get a camera and binoculars when it gradually began to fade out. I went in, noted the time, and got the binoculars.

I checked the area with the binoculars and could see nothing. The only thing I can think of is that I saw a meteor directly end on.

Cigar-shaped craft hovers then vanishes near Redding Muni Airport

Around 14:45 on Friday Sept 16, as I turned onto Airport Rd from HWY 44 (east of Redding proper), an object appeared to be hovering over the south end of the Redding Muni airport runway. As we have heavy helicopter traffic, I thought nothing of it until I noticed the driver in the truck in front of me pointing it out to his passenger. When I got to the airport entrance, I noticed that it was still in the same location but was actually a bit off to the east of the airport. The car behind me had pulled off to the side of the road and the driver got out to look at it as did the people in the truck two cars in front of me. I quickly grabbed my iPhone to get some pictures, all the while checking to ensure the object had not moved. I snapped four shots of the object within approximately 500 yard section of Airport Rd and when I looked back after taking them, the object had vanished. I then pulled over to scan the horizon to see which direction it had gone, but it was nowhere to be seen. I checked my phone pics to ensure I actually captured the object, but though I had captured the correct area of the sky in which the object was located, there was nothing in any of the photos! The object was probably about the size of a 737 or a DC-10, roughly cigar shaped with what appeared to be a slight dome above the center of the craft, and no visible wings or tail. It appeared to be a dull sandy gray color with no other discernible markings. The fact that it hovered for so long is even more impressive than its sudden disappearance given its apparent size.

Because of all the fire bombers and military aircraft heading in and out of the airport, I would normally be inclined to think it was one of "ours"; however, I know of none of our aircraft (not a Chinook or an Osprey) which can simply vanish in front of one's eyes!

Orange glow moving randomly in the northern sky.

In the Northern sky, I witnessed an orange blob about 40 degrees above horizon. It seemed to have a bit of size to it, not like a point like a star or airplane light.

Weather, cloudy, intermittent rain. This means elevation was likely low, below or just at cloud level. There was no "beam" of light as typical from airplane landing lights, rather it just glowed. Brightness was about as bright as Venus at it's brightest, but was not as brilliant due to orange color.

It moved at a very slow pace in a random pattern, almost like a leaf floating in a very very gentile breeze or bird gliding very slowly on a thermal. Movements were too tight to have been a manned aircraft. There was nothing consistent in its direction. Very Random.

After a few minutes it started to move north very very slowly and just slowly faded out. Likely gained elevation and was covered by clouds.

No sound accompanied the object and it seemed close enough that an aircraft would have been heard.

I spent four years in the Marine Corps as a Stinger gunner. A stinger is a shoulder fired anti aircraft missile.

At least 50 percent of my training was spent studying the size, shape and characteristics of over 400 worldwide aircraft. Both foreign and domestic.

Military, and civilian.

I was Discharged “Honorably” as a Non commissioned officer.

Because of my background, I’ve lived life with my eyes trained on the sky.

Approximately two months ago while walking from my house to my vehicle.

I looked up briefly and scanned the sky. Taking pause for a moment on a section between a cloud formation, and at A 20- 25,000ft range slightly southwest of my position.

I immediately spotted a single black dot with absolutely no identifiable characteristics. Clearly this wasn’t any conventional aircraft I’m am familiar with.

This dot caught my attention as it moved out from the cloud for 2 seconds, and then reversing course immediately going back into the cloud.

The object continued with this behavior 3 times before a second object of the same size and shape followed it into the adjacent cloud formation. These radical movements simply could not have been accomplished by any aircraft I’m familiar with. The speed with which they moved at that altitude was astonishing.

I honestly never thought I would see anything in the sky that I was unable to explain to some digress.

I did however.

I believe my military background, and experience Lends a great deal of credibility to my opinion.

Lighted craft hovers over Shasta Bally Mountain electronics

At 11:47 PM July 4, 2013, Redding, CA - I was sitting outside facing the west where I have a clear view of Shasta Bally (approx. 11 miles due west as the crow flies)- a mountain between Redding and the west coast. It has quite a bit of electronics on the summit - TV and radio transmitting towers, microwave repeaters, etc.

I noticed a ‘star’ start to drop straight out of the sky straight down on top of Shasta Bally.
As it came closer to Shasta Bally is got bigger and brighter then is stopped and hovered over the mountain - it was about the size of a silver dollar sitting over the mountain and it was an extremely bright white light illuminating the mountain.

It hovered there approx. 30 seconds and then moved to the right then back where it had been and then back (to the west) dropping down behind the mountain (which really illuminated the mountain even more) before it shot up and out of sight leaving a tracer line as it disappeared into the sky.

This is not the first sighting there have been at least 6 in the past 5 months with 2 ( 2-3 weeks ago) in one night. One was a bright white light and the other was a bright red light. I saw them within 10 minutes of each other. Before the sighting on July 4th they only hovered for a few seconds before darting off leaving a tracer line and disappearing into the sky. Their hovering size was not as large and bright as the one on the 4th.

I saw another on Friday night 7/5/13 which acted like the others - didn’t stay very long before leaving.

I go outside to smoke several times at night so what are the odds - I’ve seen so many?

The number of visitations per night must be astronomical.

Cluster of lights and a plethora of abnormal activity over weeks, years

My family has been in Redding CT for generations. My grandmother told me countless stories of her own that took place in that town. Although I didn't have my own experiences until my mid twenties. Near my house, the Saugatuck Reservoir stretches miles of road all the way down to Wilton CT. Towards the end of high school, my friends and I would marvel at the lights that were over the woods and reservoir. They would move in and out of the tree line at a place called devils den, then emerge in plain view to hover in groups, sometimes as many as six. I remember seeing these lights constantly after we discovered them, as soon as it got dark they were always there.

When I was 24, I moved back home for a couple months and totally forgot about the strange lights. I never really knew what to make of them and don't believe in anything paranormal, so I dismissed them entirely. Until one night when I was getting ready to watch a monday night football game with my friend and girlfriend. I was placing an order for pizza on the phone, when my friend became fascinated with an on old dusty tin can loaded with change sitting on my shelf. It had been there for years. I looked at him, then at the can and noticed it was shaking and emitting almost a humming noise. While I was placing the order on the phone, both him and my girlfriend got closer to the object and it got louder. Sure enough, my friend reached out to touch it and it flew across the room. Total elapsed time was about a minute. Considering we were grown adults, we did not panic. I kept saying it was a mouse or something, my friend kept joking that it was a ghost. Needless to say, we coul! dn't do anything about it so we went to get our food.

When we got back, all of us began our ascent up the stairs when the door to my room suddenly opened seemingly for us. That spooked us down the stairs right away. I was the first to laugh, telling them that the door was most likely not properly closed and the motion of going up the old stair case jarred it free. My friend was adamant he saw the knob move, but I told him that has happened before and he calmed down. Old house, old door, no big deal. My friend stayed to eat, but left soon after claiming he was tired. About an hour later, I was lying on my bed watching the game, adjacent to a window that gave me a pretty good view of the sky. All of the sudden, a jet like object came into my peripheral. I looked over and saw it moving slowly, I was in the middle of pointing this object out to my girlfriend when it quickly went directly over my house, no more than 20 yards above the roof. Instantly, I ran outside and saw nothing. It was absolutely silent. I knew it couldn't have b! een a jet or helicopter, but I convinced myself it was.

The weeks after were strange. Doors kept opening, and I saw a figure constantly. The only way I can describe him was a silhouette of Abraham Lincoln. Tall, skinny and what looked like a top hat. I don't know what the hell that experIence was, but I moved out soon after that. My mother still lives in that house and started to tell me she has had experiences that she claims could only be 'ghosts', even though she never believed in that stuff just years ago.

I have since moved away, first to Newtown in 2011 when I had a similar experience that I reported to this site. For reasons unrelated to this activity, I am now in PA. and have not experienced any new activity in two years.

I returned to visit my family for a couple days. I never made sense of those experiences, but years later, I remain curious. I went back to the spot where I remember seeing those lights all the time, and sure enough they were there. Hovering, moving back and forth between the woods of devils den and wilton.

There was a very recent ufo report in wilton from dozens of residents that was reported in their police log. I have no idea what any of this stuff is or how it gets investigated, but I would tell any curious ufo hunter to go down to the Saugatuck reservoir in Redding on a clear night, for some reason I remember them being more animate on full moons, and watch the lights towards Wilton. A handful of times me and a friend saw them closer, below the tree line on Dayton road, the road alongside the entrance of devils den. Although I have been down that road many nights and the occurrence is rare. Try to make sense of it if you can, but I'm glad to be far away from the area.

I think I have seen sky wars over northern Calif.

Light beam shot out of a dark area twice in less than a sec. in two different colors. Example: Hold a watch at arms length and picture a light beam shooting out to the 11 oclock and then 9 oclock postion and then the light beam just stopped at that point.

About two weeks later I saw the exact same thing except both beams were the same color. I do wear glasses and considered this might have been a refelection, but this has not happened again in the 13 months.

P.S. I go outside for a smoke about once an hour and always watch the sky.

Three persons see bright lights flying over Redding, California.

My son came into my room and told me to get out of bed and come look at the light in the sky.

At which time I did. As we was walking he started telling me to hury before I missed it.

After going out the front door he had me follow him up to the street in front of are drive way which faces the north were we met up with his friend.

At this time they directed me to look up and in a southern direction.

It was summer time and quite clear outside lots of stars shining.

There in the sky looking like a star to fare away to see any structure was a flying object very much looking like a star but much brighter.

While it was flying you could clearly see the stars disappear beyond it. But it was very high much higher then local aircraft fly.this flying object was flying in a darting back and forth manner or away and closer in a small tight area and at times would just stay still. at the end of the sighting the object at such a fantastic speed it went up in a direction towards the stars to the point which it disappeared.

I my self am not a pilot. I will say I have studied aircraft most my life and I know that the government has aircraft many years ahead of what we get to see.

I know of no such aircraff that can fly in that maner also I know of no way a pilot could with stand that kinds of force and survive or how any aircraft could even stay together.

The way this lighted object moved looked to be controled and very very fast. I know of no air craft that can exel to such a high speed and without stoping or turning suddenly change direction back to the direction from which it was going. I never seen a structure and at any time nor did any sound come from the object. I told my son and his friend this event was somthing special. i just wanted to keep this are experience as are own and also not to be labels as some kind of nut.

I found out about this site through a TV documentary and decided to shair it I would like to add durring the objects up and down motion a few times it looked as though it was coming closer to us and grew larger In that direction I could see it traveled many many miles and then back up to it original point and it could do this at lightening speeds.

Like the blink of a eye.

My mother told me of a flying object over her village on the island of trinadad south america She was 12 years of age. She was born in 1919 and has since passed away. Let me know if you would like to here it.

Last night (May 13) between 10:15 and 10:20 p.m. my son yelled for me to come into the backyard. There was an orange circular object in the sky and it appeared to be quite large. It travelled from the east to the northwest, and as it travelled it rapidly became visually smaller. As it travelled, at one point it dipped down, went east for a moment, then went back to travelling towards the northwest. The size at first from the ground looking up was between dime and nickel sized (Far too large to be a satellite, planet or star) and reduced to a mere pinpoint of orange light, then we could not see it anymore.

Submitted: January 27th, 2012, at 8:00 p.m.

On the evening of January 26th, 2012 at approximately 7:20 p.m.while driving home from work, I observed a bright white light in the night sky to my left side as I drove up a local street.

I was heading up Highway 273 north up what is called North Market Street or to locals Miracle Mile, in Redding, California.

As I got approximately 2/3 of the way up the hill, I caught sight of a large white object to my left, or the western side of the road. It appeared to be of an oval shape, well above the tree lines and had rotating blue lights around it, resembling a carnival ride. It was heading in the same direction I was, north, and as it got above the buildings at the top of the hill, it seemed to make an immediate sharp right turn. I was almost at the top of the street when this occurred, and as it made the right turn it seemed at accelerate, then suddenly it was gone.

I have served in many countries while in the military, and ridden in many types of military helicopters and airplanes, but nothing I have ever seen resembled this. The way it disappeared as it accelerated was what caught my eye, as the night was clear and I had an un-obstructed view of the dark where I had seen the whatever it was.

I have been inside burning aircraft to remove dead bodies, have seen many things in my life which were amazing and extremely curious, but I have to say that this was without a doubt one of the scariest things I have every witnessed. I felt more fear on the rest of my drive home than I can ever recall feeling, and even tonight while driving home the same route at the same time I felt a chill as I drove up Miracle Mile.

I cannot for sure state how big the object was, but if I had to make a guess, I would say it was maybe 20-30 feet, basing this on roughly how high it was in the sky and in relation to the traffic lights at the top of Miracle Mile.

Saw 2 bright orange/reddish fireballs come from the north sky. They zig zagged a bit and moved real slow with no sound for about 3 minutes. After they got what seemed to be fairly close, they just hovered in the air for a couple minutes and then they slowly faded out until they couldn't be seen any more. People driving by stopped their car in the middle of the road and got out and were asking what it was. My fiance and I are in awe right now.

Brilliant light with controlled vertical descent.

I was driving home from work on Interstate 5 north and was about 1 mile before the Twin View Blvd exit. I glanced over to the left (west) and saw a very bright light at about 10 o'clock position.

This object then started to drop straight down and took about 5 seconds to disappear into the hills.

I don't think it was a meteorite because of its totally vertical descent and the time it took.

It was quite brilliant and much brighter than anything in the night sky.

I thought it might possibly have been a helicopter but if it was then I'm sure it crashed and I have not seen anything in our local news media to show that.

Star looking object moving in a very odd pattern, just a white light just like a star

Hello I am writing this statement in case of a, what I think to be, UFO sighting. I was standing in my back yard facing south looking up at they sky. I was smoking a cigarette cause I do not smoke in the house. While looking up in the direction of the stars that make O’ryan ((sic--Orion)), when I was talking to my son showing him the stars.

My son then pointed out a light in the sky moving. He said it looked like an airplane but saw not flashing lights and was way to high. It looked more like a star moving really fast, when I finally noticed it.

I then called my wife out and 3 of my children came out too, we all watched it but thought maybe it’s a satellite.

While watching the light moving at a very fast speed, it stopped. The star the sat in one spot for about 45 seconds. That is when it started moving slowly in a sort of circle motion but did not complete a full circle, and then just shot in the East direction EXTREMELY FAST!! Stopped and sat for a few, then started moving kind of longitudinally direction, back and forth about 4 times. Still have not seen any colors or anything, still looked like a star just had life to it. It would also move in the latitudinal direction back and forth, but at a faster speed then longitude. It was at this time of 7:40 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 22 2011.

That I decided to contact someone. Unfortunately, it was dark and did not have a video device to capture evidence.

I could see a bright light in the distance. It was flying overhead and approaching in my direction. It flew directly over head. It was dark but I could make out the shape. Imagine two triangles stuck together at their bases. At the tip of one triangle, the one leading, streaks of light were seen. Then streaks of light in the center, and again at the tip of the other triangle. On the side corners of the triangle, on either side, were red lights.

It must have been travelling at a great speed because it got overhead very quickly. I did not hear very much sound, but there was a sound, but it did not sound like a plane. It was more quiet than that. Sort of a whooshing sound.

Multiple red, white, and blue strobing lights in sky

There were up to 6 of them. It started out with just 2, but more came throughout a 3 hour time span. They were star-like in shape that constantly fluttered red white and blue, like strobe light. They moved around the entire sky, but not in any specific pattern. Mostly, it was more of a gradual move, but a couple times one would bolt an inch across the sky. Sometimes they would become really faint to where you could barely see it, other times they would get so huge and bright, and randomly one would disappear for a bit then reappear a couple inches from where it was. They began to change form: One time it looked like a floating mass inside a lava lamp, another time it appeared in a saucer-like shape. I noticed one of them had a bright glowing orange center and one of them had white/yellow orbs revolving around a fluttering rainbow center. About 2 hours into it, 4-6 of them lined up horizontally. There was no mistake, it was a straight horizontal line. About 3! hours after it started, they ALL just disappeared.

On December 29, 2010, I witnessed a dark V-shaped object flying above thin cloud cover in Redding, there were 7 lights in total, 3 on each side of the V and one at the very point. It was flying south, made an instant change to the west for a few seconds, then shifted back southward. There we geese flying nearby and I’ve never heard a more panicked group of them in my life, let alone at almost 2 a.m.

I saw a bright light that slowly moved through the sky and seemed to have striations that looked like lightning bolts eminating from it

Tonight I saw a light that appeared to be south east from my location but much higher up than the planes and jets flying below. From my vantage point it appeared to be over long island. What struck me about the light was the brightness especially considering we have a storm blowing through tonight. I was surprised to see this light through the thick clouds that were blowing over. Other stars would get covered over but this light would shine right through the clouds. After I noticed it and really started taking a look at it, I could see lines of light coming from the source that could be described as tentacles or lightning bolt shaped. I thought those lines could have been a trick on my eyes but I blinked and changed perspective and the lines coming from the light stayed clear.

After getting very interested, I got my camera to film it. Unfortunately after that I was not able to see the light at it's full brightness and my camera had a hard time picking it up. By the naked eye, I could still see those lines coming from the light. It seemed very weired that I could see them as the clouds were still blowing through.

The light wasn't moving with the same pattern as the stars. When I first noticed it and started observing, the light moved but I didn't have a good position marked to figure out how far. It wasn't fast though and certainly didn't go shooting off in any direction. When I went in to get my camera and came out, the light was in a much different place but still generally in the same area being south east of my vantage point.

I tried to get photographic evidence of the light and set myself in a position I could remember with trees in the foreground. Although I was able to capture the light on my camera, I don't think it will be very useful because it is so dark out tonight and at that point the light seemed to be aimed somewhere else and thusly was not as bright.

Things that were striking about this light are: * The color of the light was not at all like the stars or the planes flying over. I'd describe it as an LED light while the stars were incandescent. There was a blue color in the light, it seemed.

* The pattern the light moved in reminded me of a search pattern but the source was far too high for that to be the case.

* The striations coming from the light were truly bizarre. It was like seeing the source of multiple lightning bolts coming from a single source but lasting for minutes at a time. When the light was dim, I could still make out the lines but they weren't as easy to identify. It seemed that every time the light shone bright, the striations were the same configuration however.

* Although it wasn't immediately obvious, the light was moving. The pattern it was moving in was more like it was making observations of an area and then move on. I never saw it shoot off in one direction or another but it would either slowly move while it was bright or go dim and then be bright in another spot that was maybe 5 or 10 degrees off from it's last spot.

I have not pulled the camera video onto my computer yet but would be willing to post it onto a server for you to observe. Please email me for that information. Also please understand that I do travel for as long as a week at a time so please be patient if I do not respond right away.

After reviwing a video of clouds, I saw four ufos.

This is no joke. I was walking my dog at the park when I saw this unsual sunbeam above the cumulus cloud.

So, I took several photos and a video of it. When I checked the video the next day, I couldn't believe what I saw.

Not one, but four UFOs can be seen within the the First 13 Seconds of the footage.

They are very small and translucent, flying close to the clouds.

You'll need to repeatedly play then rewind the first 13 seconds of the footage to clearly see them.

The first three moves linearly while the fourth moves haphazardly.

UFO #2 and #4 seems to originate behind the clouds.

Low flying ball of bright light - gliding across the sky

After returning from an evening walk, my husband and I stopped on our driveway to observe the stars and moon.

We were facing south and right at "12:00" position was a ball of light that was moving towards us. The object was bright and much, much lower than the stars - we thought it was a plane or helicopter. We observed the object trying to identify the flashing red/blue lights that acompany aircraft. This lighted object had none.

We watched as it "glided" through the sky in a northern direction. It would drop then continue, drop then continue - it never stopped but it took a long time to cross the sky. We watched for a good five minutes until we had to walk out into our street to see it (now behind our home) suddenly, it was gone. It never darted away, it didn't drop like before - it was simply gone.

It looked to be following the route of our freeway.

Less than one minute after it vanished, a jet-type plane flew overhead in the direction of the lighted object.

I shot this video in my back yard on Feb 14, 2010, at aprox. 10:20pm in Redding, Ca, USA. I have no idea what this thing is but I saw one about 4 nights ago and tried to get a video but it left to soon. This video starts out a little shaky and blurry but it gets better. I think i got some pretty clear shots of whatever it was. Anyway, please excuse my language, as I was kind of excited when i shot the video, and i bruised my shin tripping over a stump and got poked in the face with a stick while i was trying to film. I guess this makes me an official UFO chaser. LOL :)

Changed shapes with bright multi-colored lights all over/around it.

I first saw the object as I walked out on my porch to get some wood for my fire. It looked like a plane at first; I thought it was just coming in to the airport, but then I noticed it wasn't moving and also it was flashing green, blue, red & white lights off and on, but in no particular pattern. I ran back inside and yelled for my friend Mary to come out and take a look and I grabbed a small pair of binoculars on the way back outside.

I looked up and it was no longer a "strip" of flashing lights, but was now an oval shape with the same colored lights on and around it. They seemed to be twinkling instead of flashing now. I handed the binoculars to Mary and asked what she seen.( I didn't want her to be influenced by what I described, and also wanted to see if she could see anything at all.) She described the exact things I was seeing. It continued to hover there and I called several friends to get some one else to acknowledge this "object", but no one answered.

We then drove down to our local Shell gas station/convenience store to get the cashier to verify the sighting of this object. She hadn't used binoculars before and could not really get a good look at it; she did state that her son had seen a UFO a couple days earlier, though.

I called the local Police and the cashier called the Highway Patrol to see if anyone else had reported anything and they both said "no".It was not in the sky when we got home and we did not see it leave, fly or disappear; We called this number provided by the Redding Police Dept. and the recording gave us this web site address.

The entire incident lasted approx. 40 minutes I am including sketches of what we saw, with descriptions and will email it ASAP.

Large orange shape changing object emits smaller orbs, winks out reappearing instantly in other locations

Last night, here in Redding, California, Monday 7-6-09, I took my two dogs out one last time before I headed off to work an ovenight shift. It was about 11:33 PM.

I looked up overhead and spotted a brilliant orange object, somewhat circular in shape. It was about half the diameter of the holes punched in three-ring notebook paper held 30" from the eye. I estimated its altitude at 25K feet or higher. From my position near the intersection of the Shasta View Drive and Tarmac Road, at 40*34'49N X 122*19'26W, the object appeared to be at 85 degrees above the horizon to the SSW. Judging by its altitude, it was probably directly over the southwestern margins of the city limits of Redding, California.

At first, its coloration was steady and unchanged; the object was stationary. But as I watched, it began to change shape, with several smaller orange objects coming from it, rapidly separating from the main object to a short distance then momentarily flashing and winking out, never to be seen again. This happened about four different times.

The main object would alternately appear as a circular shape then dim slightly from a bright orange color to a bright red and back again, and as it did so, it took on the appearance of multiple spheres clustered together; very much like the oft-cited theodolite camera footage shot near Area 51 some years ago.

But then the large object quickly winked out itself, going from bright orange to red, then to a brownish hue and vanished completely. It was completely out of sight for about a second and would suddenly flash and reappear in another location a short distance away, where it again stood motionless. This on-off-on and sudden relocation event happened about six times. Held at arm's length, these "jumps" would appear about three inches from point to point. At an altitude of 25,000 feet altitude or more, this represents a jump of about a half mile or more, (transitioned instantly).

I debated whether to run and grab my high-powered binoculars, but was afraid that the object would disappear before I could return to view the phenomenon. The object moved in several directions in this disappear-reappear sequence and finally, as I was on my cell phone yelling for my girlfriend out in Palo Cedro to go out and look, it began moving in a south easterly direction and vanished just as she was just stepping outside. The sighting lasted about three minutes.

I saw the International Space Station (ISS) pass overhead moving in a northeasterly direction about an hour earlier, so I know this was neither a sighting of nor mis-identification of that.

After checking with the administration at the Redding Municipal Airport, I was told they have a recently installed ARTS-3C radar system that is "slaved" to the TRACON System at the Oakland Bay Airport, but they have no provisions for recording the returns locally. I checked the internet for live radar feeds, but I guess there aren't any available to "mere civilians". Maybe it might be possible to find out if there is some ATC radar tapes that could be examined for a signature on this.

Rotating discs with colored lights seen ongoing for 3 weeks in July 2009 over N California

Beginning late in the first week of july, a number of brightly lit and multicolored discs were witnessed in the vicinity of Redding, California. The discs were situated approximately 25-40 miles from the area of witness and clustered at the north and west coordinates in small groups, sometimes stacked on one another. Near Mount Shasta and in the general vicinity of highway 5 is the most prominent location for these discs in the last 3 weeks. They have also been seen due west over the rugged mountains of Trinity County at approximately the same distance away from the witnesses. A rough estimation of the distance away is 25-40 miles and elevation above the ground is estimated at 10,000 to 25,000 feet. All sightings have occurred right around 01:00 hours and most have persisted until 03:00 hours or later with the witnesses all having seen their fill by that time. It is the duration of constant hovering combined with the entirely unusual colored lights that! makes a very convincing argument the objects are not helicopters or airplanes. All four witnesses were satisfied with this conclusion and have agreed their is no "normal" explanation for what has been seen.

In particular about the craft, they look to be rotating discs oriented horizontally or sometimes tilted at an angle of around 30 degrees. The discs emanate four flashing colors of bright light identified as green, orange, red and blue. The lights flash in a rotation around the perimeter of the discs in an obviously attention getting and unnatural display. The discs have been best described as "Simon" electronic games in the sky rotating. The "Simon" is a game that is still available and consists of four colored lights arranged around a circle that are hit in succession to form a pattern. Surely most people can recall one of these from a television ad at least and visualize the same four colors flashing around the edge of a disc hovering in the night sky.

There are sometimes but not always accompanying craft but normally one flashes more brightly than the others or the others seem to hover near or above a main disc. The discs do not make fast movements but have been seen to move drastically in the sky in a period of only 15 to 20 minutes. Witnesses would see and identify the disc, then go indoors for a short while and come back out to see the disc had moved a hand's span in the sky in only a short time. There has been reliably one disc in the northern sky near Mount Shasta and also similar discs in the western sky over Trinity County, a bit south of Whiskeytown reservoir. One of the first sightings involved the disc in the northern sky moving in very small rapid circles side to side but maintaining the same altitude. Almost like the tip of a pencil drawing small curly-Qs over and over in the same place. This was much more pronounced than the usual "shimmer" of a star in the sky that results from the atmosphere refracting! the light. The discs were definitely making rapid circling movements while rotating their flashing lights constantly.

These sightings are complete textbook UFO instances, lasting so long that one has plenty of time to view the object and make a very detailed observation. These objects are definitely not standard aircraft and resemble nothing seen before by any of the four witnesses.

Redding, CA Unidentified Flying Object in bright orange light seen with brother and two other friends on November 2008.

On the night of November 2008, forgot what the exact day. I was star gazing with my reflector telescope south east of where I live approximately about 11:45 pm pst. My brother had came out to star gaze with me and just as he had looked North east approximately about 40k-100k ft.(don't know how high, but no higher than a regular airplane). I had told my brother that is not a moon, because a moon does not appear where it should. This unidentified aircraft looked like a full moon large circular with one bright color(orange), the light was huge,not glimmering, shining, neither blinking, it was bright light. That night there was four of us, me my brother and two other friends. The unidentified flying object sits in the air without a sound and interestingly the object moved/hover. And I said oh Sh*t, it's moving. It had moved just a bit at the moment, then we were stunned. This object had no sound, moving very rapidly but slowly towards us and then turned direct! ion towards the nearby airport. We had thought it was a airplane, all of the sudden the craft flew over us towards northwest of our home and stopped for a few seconds. The object started moving again, now going south. As the object was moving away further, the very last thing it did was took off just like we see in the movies star strek,it just zoomed and disappeared.

They ran far and were jumping at the sky. We looked up and there were 3 helicopter-like objects and had really strange designs om them. they started coming toward us and we ran back to the house. then this afternoon, we went to see if there was any evidence of it. We went back and there was this strange spherical object with the same designs as the helicopters had.

Burning object in Night Sky over Redding, CA 11/09/2007

At 10:45PM My daughter an I were driving down our street. As we neared our driveway, we noticed a neighbor of ours looking at something he saw up in the cloudy sky.

I saw it about 30 seconds before I noticed the neighbor looking at the light in the sky as I thought it was the Highway Patrol helicopter that had been flying around all evening.

The cloud deck was about 2500 feet as reported on the NOTAMS for our local airspace.

As my daughter and I got out of the car, we both looked up at the "glowing object" that was making NO sound. We both noticed that it looked to be on fire as it "floated" southward at a very slow rate of speed.

The object got bright with flames, then almost appeared to be extinguished. This repasted over 20 times.

The object slowly changed course to the North West direction as it started to fall apart, emitting sparks and flames as it disappeared into the clouds to the North West part of Redding, CA.

This object made NO noise and was moving very slowly between the ground and the cloud cover.

My wife and two daughters were witnesses to this which lasted 4 to 6 minutes.

Very strange as we were hoping it would be on the 11 O'clock news, but there were no other reports of the strange object in the sky?

Single light making 90 degree turns, starting and stopping instantly without acceleration.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Redding, California. At approx. 11:08 PM, I was in the outdoor pool floating on my back looking up at the sky. Near the constellation of Cygnus and Lyra, I saw a faint light (much like a faint star) moving south. There was no way for me to tell it's altitude nor it's speed, however, it's actual movement was puzzling. At first it was travelling south and passed by just west of Vega; it's speed was constant. Suddenly it stopped instantly for a short moment (maybe for 1/2 of a second), then instantly returned to its original speed in an easterly direction. When I saw it do this, the first thought that came to my mind was, "am I really seeing this? Is this my imagination?" Yet still, I was able to continue following the object through the sky. And for a second time, it stopped instantly without any negative acceleration for about 1/2 second. The object then resumed it's speed instantly without any acceleration almost due south before dissapearing out of sight still high up degree-wise in the sky. I spent another 10 mins looking up but did not see anything more after my first sighting.

Saw about 20 bright objects kind of like a swarm of bees, only they moved in jerks and zig zags

Was a beautiful clear day, and decided to relax in the back yard. Suddenly about 70 degrees up a red got shot out of the blue. It kind of moved in an erratic motion. Then it started to fade away as it went back up.

Suddenly another object appeared, and another. Finally there were about 20 of them. I tried to count them but it was difficult because of their pattern. They make right hand turns or even reverse themselves without slowing down. Sometimes they would suddenly be ahead of where they were going. Wasn't sure they just appeared there or moved so fast I couldn't see it - kind of like the snap of a rubber band.

They kept coming closer and after a few minutes started to move away. One kind of hung back, and as the others faded away, it shot to the north west at an incredible speed. This may sound strange, but it left a hole in the atmosphere. You could make it out for a few minutes.

Best I can say for color, it's kind of like looking at a 100 watt light bulb on a bright sunny day.

While driving west on sacramento road I ovberserved a momentary flash followed by a ball of fire, This event had startled me to the point where I needed to pull my car over and take a second to register what I had seen. At the time I stepped out of my car I noticed a woman and a man in another car pointing to the sky apearently they had scene the object/ event as well, I asked them if they'd scene the event, and both looked startled by this then climbed into their car and quickly left the scene, I sat there for a moment looking for anyone else who might have whitnessed the even and then left, ending the experience.

2/3 of night sky filled with purple-pink light criss-crossing each other like a NET at Redding, CA

In Redding, California near the Sacramento River looking WEST (with Mt. Lassen at my back), about 5 A.M. every other morning for this past week, {with this morning being the 3rd sighting}.... I see something that fills 2/3 of the night sky. It looks like brilliant purple/pink lights criss-crossing each other and looks like a purple-pink "NET".

As it is summer time {July 2005} and 100 plus degrees, I have been sleeping outside under the stars. Last night I set my alarm so that I could see just what time this event actually started. Not at 2 A.m, not at 3 A.m., not at 4 A.M. Each time my Dog wakes me up when this strange event starts. It was there at about 5 A.M. this morning and continued even after daylight.... only the color was no longer there and the "criss-crosses looked like white smoke.

Star that moves in circles.

We saw a light in the western sky over our house as we were watching for satelites in the sky. At first we thought it was just a star, but then it kept bouncing around and moving back and forth, in circles, and up and down. At one point it looked like it was moving farther away from the earth, then it moved closer. When we came back inside, it was still in the sky, but it wasn't really moving anymore, and just looked like a normal star again.

Two bright lights, no sound, thin faint white trails behind then, travelled from west to east.

We were outside sitting in lawn chairs in my drivway drinking a couple of beers and I noticed a bright light moving in the window of my truck. We looked up and at first I thought it was a bright satellite, as bright or brighter than Sirius. It did not change in instensity though and travelled in a east to north east direction. At a couple of points you could see a very thin faint white trail comming from it so I kewn it was not a satellite and was too slow to be a meteor and was not a jet. There was no sound then we noticed another one trailing behind the first that was about half as bright, and it too at one point gave off a light white trail. They both travelled togethere to the east until we could not see them anymore. They were both very bright, brighter than any star, were easily visible, and gave off no sound.

bright white light in evening sky with cone shaped tail exploded and vanished.

A white light object a little brighter than Venus with a "tail fan" of about thirty degrees, in the west-south west sky about 40 degrees above the horizon was seen traveling from south to north. There was no contrail behind it. It seemed to explode and the vanished. no smoke or residual was seen. The sky was stll light just before dusk and there was a nearly full moon in the south east. Venus ( I think it is Venus) was in the west. No sound. Subsequently notices a wavery contral low in the southern sky. May have been associated but could see no direct connection. It was moving fast but not nearly as fast as a meteorite. It was quite large as compared to a jet liner, maybe 4 times as large. I justhappened to be taking an evening walk and noticed the event. Except that it was moving too fast, I thought it was a comet at first. I think it may have been some kind of a rocket test that went wrong.

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) - An Air Force missile test Thursday provided a spectacular light show seen over California and much of the West, as far away as Utah and New Mexico.

The colorful contrail was seen soon after the unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile blasted off at 7:36 p.m. from an underground silo at the Vandenberg military base north of Santa Barbara.

"The smoke went up in spirals as the sun was setting and turned into an orange, amber color. It was like a flower going into bloom pretty quickly," said Simon Cox, who saw it from a restaurant terrace in Santa Barbara.

The missile traveled about 4,200 miles in about 30 minutes, striking a predetermined target at the Kwajalein Missile Range in the western chain of the Marshall Islands, the Air Force said.

Vandenberg spokeswoman Kelly Gabel said clear conditions were responsible for the spectacular light show.

"We do this two or three times a year, but because the weather was so perfect we decided to launch it early," Gabel said. As a result, people were still awake to see it, and although the sun had set, sunlight below the horizon glinted off unspent fuel particles and water droplets.

"Suddenly we're getting calls from people as far away as New Mexico who saw it and want to know what it is," Gabel said.

The mission was directed by the 576th Flight Test Squadron at Vandenberg and the 341th Space Wing and the 341st Space Wing, from Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

The purpose was to test launch systems and the missile's accuracy and reliability.

Odd moving lights (multiples) seen on two seperate nights

While observing the current meteor shower, I noticed one light that at first I took to just be a star, however it was just slightly less dim that venus. This light was moving in small cicles, then forward, then back, sometimes at a slow speed, then other times it would move rather quickly. All three lights repeated the same pattern of behavior for over an hour. The same lights appeared on 08/11/02 and again repeated the same odd behavior for a long time. Those lights this time were preceded by a light coming from the north, that at first thought was just a high altitude jet. But then it sped up to and incredible speed , turned 45 degrees to the east and moved off faster than anything I've ever seen (meteor speed). That light was witnessed by just myself, but the other lights had two witnesses.

Unknown object cruising over town suddenly changes direction and accelerates up and out of sight, witnessed by 4 people.

While driving to town to watch a movie with the family, my son pointed out a very bright light in the sky, moving just below the tops of the mountain range that surrounds our city. All four of us were captivated by the extreme "whiteness" of the light and the husband pulled to the side of the road for a better look.

The light moved at a good pace horizontally for about 20 seconds longer then suddenly veered upward and shot out of sight in an instant. I actually saw "tracers" following it's sudden departure upward. There is no way it could have been any sort of known airplane or helicoptor. It certainly was not a bug or a spotlight reflection. It was totally silent and was close enough I am sure we could have seen the vehicle if it had been daytime. No meteor could have possibly fallen and riccocheted back into space at this sharp of an angle.

The color never changed or distorted, it was there and then it simply was gone.

Dark clear night, one bright flash, focused in that area 10 seconds later, second flash occured, when second flash disopated saw one faint orange pin point. focused on pin point another 10 seconds past and pin point ommitted third flash this signting occured from beginning to end in 30 seconds. then disappared over the horizon. It is difficult to judge altitude. but was not in outer-space. Note: I am pilot with extensive aviation background/knowledge.

A light above Redding, Ca

At 03:00hr on 08/17/00 I saw a light in the sky over Redding Ca. that was moving in an erratic fashion. The speed, direction, and movement changed at irregular intervals. The color of the light seemed to change from white to red. I tryed to report this to the local police, but they said that they couldn't see any thing. From the city of Redding you probably wouldn't be able to see it because of the city lights. I was in the foothills above Redding, not being affected by the city lights.

While laying on my roof watching the meteor shower, my friend and I noticed a large, boomerang shaped object flying at a high rate of speed directly over Redding, CA. This object was large, completely black...no lights of any kind showed, and made no noise. The craft never strayed from its single course, and disappeared in the horizon when the city lights were too bright for us to see it anymore. It came from the north...flying south...maybe southwest. The whole experience lasted no longer than 30 seconds from the initial sighting to losing track of the object.

Chased light approxamentley 1400 miles in plane at mk. 3.8 for 1.8 hours

We took off from Redding at 20:34 doing touch and goes when a light apeered out of the west by northwest ski at an altitude of around 35,000. We noticed that it was flying stright and level with a headding of east by southeast we decided to take chase with objuct the aircraft we were in was a migg 29A capable of mk. 4.2 call me and i'll give an interview in full.

The MiG-29 is not capable of achieving Mach 3.8. Moreover, we doubt whether the MiG-29 is capable of supersonic flight for 1.8 hrs. and 1,400 miles without refueling. We are not aware of any MiG-29 in the U. S. that is privately owned.

I saw a very bright green ball fall from the sky , then disappear over the horizen.

This morning at about 6:45AM, I was driving southeast on Bueneventura Blv.. I was noticeing how beautiful the sunrise was, as it was just getting light over the horizen in front of me. Then I saw a very bright green ball shaped object fall from the sky, disappearing over the horizen. This seemed to occur just as the sun was coming up. The sky was just beginning to lighten up pink in color and I could also see the horizen of mountains, however the sky was still dark behind me. There were a few clouds above me, but none where I saw this object. This object was a very bright florescent green. I'm not sure how far away it was, but the mountains it fell behind are at least 60 or 70 miles away. It was about twice the size of the "lit" part of a streetlight. It didn't appear to have a tail. I am a homemaker with 2 children. I've done extensive traveling worldwide and also I've had the opportunity to fly various places since my childhood. I've worked as a secretary for my father's firm. His work is heavy construction.

I went to get in my car. I looked up and SE while getting into the car. I saw an object with two red lights and one green light. These lights were not flashing. It was traveling NE paralell to Interstate 5. It passed overhead. While viewing it I could see no stars between the lights. Only a large dark triangular shape. I drove my car NE to a friends home and continued to view the object traveling slowly over Redding. It veried West toward Mt Bally or Baldy. At my fiends home it was still visable. She and her neighbors came out and viewed it with binoculars. Our internet services also locked up at about the same time. I could not get on the internet for over two hrs. It was 8:24PM PST when it went over me. It was larger then the full moon. I heard no sound from the object. As it went west I saw an amber light or glow also. At no time did any lights blink.

I'm a Genealogical Researcher and homemaker. I have raised five children and been married 39 years. I have some laymans knowledge of some of the constellations. I also do some research for Historical Projects. My friend is a Pharmacy assistant and her husband is retired. I don't know the back ground of her neighbors.

MY BROTHER AND I WERE DRIVING SOUTH BOUND ON I5 ABOUT 1 1/2 MILES NORTH OF ANDERSON, CALIFORNIA. A HUGE WHITE/BLUEISH FIREBALL WAS SEEN AT ABOUT 400-600 FEET ABOVE GROUND AND WE FOLLOWED IT BELOW THE TREE LINE

As I was driving my brother and I to work, southbound on Interstate 5, we saw a very large fireball to the south east shooting straight down in to ground. It was very weird to see. It started out like a small flash then as the flash stretched out downward a fire ball was forming. I'd say it looked like 400-600 feet up when we noticed it and appeared to be about 3/4 of a mile away. It feel very slow in comparison to a meteor and appeared to look like an airplane falling out of the sky and burning, it fell that slow. It was close enough that I could see the "boiling" of the "flames" off of the fireball. We tried to gauge the distance and size in comparisons to cars or trucks on the highway as we continued to work. It was much bigger then a semi truck coming at you at around 3/4 mile away. It was similar to a meteor color of white with a blueish tenge to it.

was watching kit of pigeons fly, saw out the corner of eye, noticed it and it was gone within a couple of seconds

I had put my kit of birmingham roller pigeons out at about 4:30 pm, they were getting chased around by a hawk and decided to go up fairly high, normal when predators chase them. I wanted to watch them as they were rolling around but I couldn't see the colors very were, up about 1500 feet I'd guess. I put down the bino's as it was hard to follow them, sore neck. They turned and went northern flying in a counter clockwise turn. I saw a shinney object out the corner of my left eye. I turned to look and it was a semi oval object just sitting there, not moving. It was like a dule chrome color, but kind of hazy like when you see a jet airline flying by. It might have looked hazy from the reflectivness of the object but not sure? It was only there for a little over a full second then a bright silverish vertical flash appeared(reminded me of something like on star trek, when they transport), followed by a flash similar to a "mirror" flash and it was just gone. I pulled up my bino's to see if I could see anything in the vicinity and there was absolutely nothing. the object like I said was kind a oval, but more like a circle with one flattened side to it, the flash appeared from this flattened side while it vanished. a guy I work with said his sister had seen a "UFO" the day before i did, this was after I had mentioned to him that I had seen one that he said his sister had mentioned to him a day earlier that she'd seen one. I haven't learned the details of her sighting yet. That's it.

was watching my kit of birmingham rollers fly, then out the corner of my left eye I noticed something shinney, like a dule chrome, just sitting there. I was there for about a second then vanished with a vertical flash

I had let my kit of Birmingham Rollers out to fly at around 4:30 pm, a predator had begun to chase them and they headed for higher skies(a normal thing when chased) They went up high, approx. 1500 feet, I couldn't see the color of the birds too well, so I brought out my bino's to view them better. They turned clock wise to the north and I spotted a metalic shinney object out the corner of my left eye. I turned to look at the object and it was semi circle(kind of oval) it looked like a dule chrome and not a constant color, a hazziness to it. It looked like a circle with a portion of it flat on one side. It was there for about 1 full second+, not very long at all, then I see this weird flash of that was silverish in color but going vertical on the side of the objects flat side, followed with a small mirror type flash. When the flash appeared the object was instantaniously gone, I pulled up the bino's and there was nothing at all up there but blue sky. The object appeared to be up as high as you see airliners cruising by, not sure though. If it was up that high it would've been approximatley 3/4 the size of the airlines wing span. I was by myself but came into the house right after seeing it and told my wife about it, she said sacastically in a jokingly voice "Did they abduct you too?" I have never seen what I would call a UFO before and have been flying Birmingham Rollers most of my life and I'm 30 years old now. I went to work the next day and told an acquaintance there about it, he thought I was kidding for a second, then knew I was sure that I'd seen something. He said his sister had called him a day earlier and said she'd seen a UFO, but didn't know any details of it. I'll send a diagram of what I saw in the mail

Witnessing bright lights, mostly white with green and red, in the sky at every point on the compass, starting at 7:00PM and lasting until around 2:30-3:00AM. Different heights and distances from my position. NOT stars, planets or aircraft.

I have been witnessing a recurring sighting of something in the sky over Redding since the 21st of September. The object(s) are still appearing as of tonight, the 12th of October. These objects have been witnessed by three of my neighbors as well as my Grandmother, my Nephew and another friend. The first object appears in the western sky at around 7:10 PM. It slowly, almost imperceptibly, traverses the sky in a diagonal, downward track until it reaches the crest of a mountain called Boley Mountain which is roughly 6 miles from my location. It then disappears on the other side of the mountain. Within three minutes, the object, or another identical object, appears in the northern sky, roughly 30 degree's above the horizon. From this position, it tracks opposite from its path in the west until by 12:30 AM, it is very high in the northeast. The object does not get much higher and does not move east or west. The latest I have watched it is 2:30 AM. At that time it had moved slightly south. I got up at 4:30 AM about four nights ago and saw nothing but stars, the moon and planets. I noticed on the 28th that another, seemingly identical object would appear in the eastern sky at the same time this object moved. The eastern object must be either over or just east of Redding Municipal Airport. On October 4th I started finding more of these objects in different positions around my location or encircling Redding. On the 5th, I counted 16 that I could see. These objects can only be identified as bright white, green and/or blue and red lights with the red light appearing to pulse or rotate around something. Very reminisent of the old police "bubble gum" lights or maybe lights reflecting off of one of those aluminum christmas trees. None of the witnesses, including myself, have been able to see a discernable shape. I am using a fairly new pair of 20X50 Tasco binoculars to view this. Not the best but I all I have available. My neighbor, who was actually the first to see this, has tried to view the object through his 35mm camera using a 300mm telephoto lens. Still could not make out what it is. He took some time-lapse photographs of the first object but is not confident of the outcome since all he had was 200 speed film. I have snapped several photos using a Kodak Max one-time use camera. I know these will either be blank pictures or of poor quality but they are at least pictures. Since I am now dealing with so many of these things it is difficult for me to list every objects position and behaviour. Some of the new ones to the southwest actually appeared very close to the ground. However, being night time and not knowing the distance of my binoculars yet, they could have been thousands of feet in the air. I think they were close to the ground because of my location and knowing the area they appeared to be over. I have sensitivity to bright car lights so could not investigate even though I wanted to. I am a white male, 47 years old and have spent the last 17 years working with computers, 14 of those with Tandy Corporation in Texas. I am currently a private consultant. I do take medications but none would cause this level of hallucination.

Summary : Two amber lights moving at the same distance apart beginning at one end of Redding and ending in the north eastern direction above Redding. The lights dropped another WAY brighter light that was white to the ground. Then the most awesome part was that they just disappeared. My husband, self and six year old daughter witnessed this.

While driving East on Lake Blvd. in Redding, my husband pointed out a set of two lights that were not normal in formation nor in appearance for an airplane. They were, from where we stood, approximately a quarter of an inch big each, amber in color, moving slowly north by north east? When we pulled over to the side of the road after the first minute or so we realized they were not airplanes nor were they any other conventional type of air vehicle. These were two lights going next to each other, approximately two inches apart, in unison as if hooked at the middle. We could not differentiate if they were indeed hooked or not, but if hooked together by something this object would have to have been huge. While sitting there freaking out at these lights, seeing them not blinking, or anything else, moving slowly, they headed north. After a period of approximately 3-5 minutes, the further away of the two lights moved upward and dropped a giant white light from its bottom an!d this light was five times the size of each of the orange lights and dropped to the ground completely. It was a huge white light that was so bright that it hurt our eyes. The two other amber lights, still virtually in unison went out at that point and one popped sort of red for a second as they went out then disappeared completely.We are awestricken! It seems that even though we stood near our car atop a big city hill gaping and screaming it's a ufo that nobody else stopped, however, someone had to have seen these...they were too obvious.

Man reported witnessing "upside-down snowcone" pass overhead slowly. He heard a "popping sound" eminate from it, and he saw flames shooting down from it. It wobbled somewhat in flight, and it appeared to be descending.

The object was a yellow color, and it appeared to have 3 lights on the bottom. It may have crashed, he thought.
