Large, blurry bright light with a ring around it that slowly rose up from the horizon and quickly disappeared.

I saw a huge, bright white light that looked like it was in a cloud despite it being a pretty clear night. For the duration of 5 minutes, it slowly rose up from the horizon and a blurry, white light ring spread around the center of the light. As it rose higher in the sky, the color turned more blue and the ring grew. It eventually disappeared, but the ring was still visible after the light went away for a few seconds.

They were not from a helicopter as ther was no sound or wind just this brightness. They were different size round shapes. As I continued up the taconic I tried to see from my rear view mirror but they were gone.

Bright Light with something beneath it, moving briskly south-south-east, absolutely silent,

I was on my way to school in the morning with my father, I stopped at the intersection right by the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, we came to a stop, and right after we saw a bright light moving across our sightline. I looked up just in time to see it for about 5 seconds or so, then it started moving South-South-East towards the Deer Run Golf Course. It moved rather quickly, about 200mph or so.

My friend, who lives near where the object was heading also noted the object and repeated the same sight that I did. It was perfectly silent.

One other oddity is my recollection of the event, I only know the basics of what happened,

I saw this object out of the side of my car and it was large with a big neon green glow to it thne shortly after it disapears.

Driving home from work I glanced over to the passenger side window to see a large rectangular/square shaped object. This object was big and even bigger then a commercial airplane.

It was also very low in the air and just about the top of the near by trees on the side of the highway. It had a lot of neon green light around it and was mostly that same color.

As I see this object slowly moving it then moves extremely fast, zooms and disappears into thin air. It is almost like the object sensed me looking at it and zoomed to disappear. In my entire life I have never seen something move that fast.

This experience lasted about five seconds. I have not been able to not stop thinking about the experience and It is something that I will never forget.

I've never seen an object like before.

It last about 7 seconds and it was flying west towards Rockland/Orange County.

I remember the object being round. There were no lights on the object. It seemed to be just a little bit bigger than the appearance of the sun in the morning sky.

I saw it for 7 seconds, or so, as I was driving, but then trees and other objects blocked my view of it.

Four, very bright orange spherical lights moving steadily in horizontal trail formation in night sky.

Went outside in the back yard to let our dog out one more time for the night. Dog started barking and running towards fence.

Looked toward eastern sky and initially saw an extremly very bright orange, steady, spherical shaped light moving steadily from the south headed north-northeast and then immediately noticed a second, third and fourth identical bright orange light all moving above the back lot tree line.

Sky was clear with good visibility.

These objects were spaced apart fairly evenly in a horizontal trail configuration. Objects were moving fairly slowly. Estimate possibly ¼ mile between each light. Hard to determine distance from myself, but possibly within one mile. Altitude was medium, possibly 5,000', but difficult to determine due to lack of perspective or sky contrast.

All four objects were identical and displayed no navigation lights, position lights, anti-collision lights, wing lights, or landing lights that are standard aircraft lighting. 

There was absolutely no sound associated with these objects prior, during or after their passage.

I looked around the nearby houses to see if anyone was outside seeing what I was witnessing, but saw no one else.

After observing for maybe 15-20 seconds, I ran inside to grab binoculars. Returning to the back yard, I was able to observe the fourth object for about 10 seconds before it moved out of sight beyond the tree line.

Through the binoculars I observed a very bright, clear orange glowing light and I could faintly make out a dark angular object associated with the light.

These were not military fighter aircraft afterburners either. I live in the vicinity of an F-22 US Air Force Base and these were not F-22s or any other fighter aircraft. There is also a nearby US Army base with helicopters. These were definitely not helicopters of any type either.

I'm a retired US Air Force pilot and I know what aircraft look like at night and am very familiar with the sights and! sounds of local aircraft at night. In fact, as I viewed the fourth object, an MD-80 type commercial airliner flew over my house from front to back (from west to east) at low altitude in the direction of the four orange lights. I believe the airliner was entering the traffic pattern at the local airport preparing to land. The lights and sound of this aircraft provided an excellent contrast with the four objects that I'd just observed.

Traveling across Coleman Bridge from N to S around 6:30 EST, saw a band of orange yellow lights hovering around 300 to 600 feet above the western side of where route 17 goes though York town Va.

At first they just looked like a tower with lights suspended from it but as we drove right under it, I could not see any connections.

From my observation all the lights were moving together in a manner that the they seemed attached to one object.

Since we were driving the round disk of yellow orange lights at first seemed to just hover, but I could tell it was slow in moving west to north west towards Camp Perry.

I could not tell the speed if any cause of its slow movement, and due to driving directly under it.

Yorktown Beach on 6-15-12 we saw 5 or 6 lights flying seperately in the sky

We were at Yorktown Beach on 6-15-12. The sun went down but the sky was still blue. I looked up and saw one light very high in the sky. The one light hovered and then in the blink of an eye there was another on beside it. The two lights then flew over each other and went in opposite directions. We watched them disappear into the distance and then in the original spot another light appeared. This light hovered and appeared to swing back and forth and then moved away and disappeared. Then another light appeared it hovered without moving and we watched until the light went completely out. It just went out like a light switch. It was the brightest light of all lights we saw and when it went out we were amazed. About a minute later we saw one more light hovering lower than the previous lights but it too just disappeared. We had not been drinking or smoking anything and there were no clouds in the sky and there were no stars yet. The sky was still blue.

"What the heck is this thing I'm seeing!!"

While walking alone through a backyard during a usual routine of exercise I had stopped for a glance in the sky as I ordinarily do on clear days when in the air straight up above me at an altitude of about 3000 feet I had spotted a round ball-like object hovering in a slow but steady glide toward a southerly direction.

This visible object did not in any way appear as what would normally have been a bird or plane, no wings or tail were seen. With the extreme force of wind current and at it's estimated height, it would not have been possible for any winged creature or balloon to hover so sternly, as they would have shown an air pattern in a more turbulent or vibrational path.

Additional note: Using my very sharp and accurate vision I was able to depict that because of the slow steady movement it presented, this was not a star nor even a meteor. Either one would have displayed a more split-second sparkling streak or no movement at all.

The object remained in sight for at least one minute and as the cold wind began to water my eyes I glimpsed away briefly and when I quickly returned to what was a very open part of the sky, the object was nowhere in sight. After another whole minute of observing that area of sky and with the awareness of how the sun will divert things at different angles and colors, there was nothing visible.

In retrospect from what similar reports have stated, it seemed very possible that the object must have made itself off at a high rate of speed. It is unknown to me as to what it was or why I had come to observe this, other than for me to account for it and being clearly seen and recognized as a UFO. I'll be recalling this experience until the end of my days.

I exited my garage with my dog to go for a walk. I noticed a light above my head. I was facing north; the semi full moon was west/north west in the sky to my left and above. The light, after catching my attention took off / flew to my right / east at a speed that I can only describe as faster than I have ever seen anything go.

The flight path seemed level and controlled. There was no sound made by the object.

I estimate the size of the object, relative to the moon and holding my thumb up to the sky, to be larger than the moon and 50% larger than my thumb. The object was large enough to grab my attention and surprise me. It appeared to be traveling at a speed much faster than an aircraft. I can only describe the speed as amazing. It is my belief that the object was low in the sky relative to aircraft flying at altitude. The object as well was above the altitude of an aircraft on approach for landing.

The object appeared as a blue to blue/teal sphere or circle with a pronounced outer circle or halo.

There were no trails, blur or flashing. The object seemed clear and defined.

4 dimly lit circles going southeast, no sound, no blinking lights, clear night, duration about 15 secounds

Crisp, clear night.Four dimly lit circles came from the north heading southeast in a diamond formation. About 5 seconds into the sighting they changed positions into a line with three in a row and the trailing circle in an offset and then quickly back into the diamond formation.There is alot of air traffic in my area so iam used to all kinds of aircraft at all sorts of altitudes and you can hear them unless they happen to be flying at 30 to 40 thousand feet.These objects made no sound at all.The color and brightness can best be described as what you would see if light was seen through a brown paper bag,not very bright.If there were clouds that night what I saw could very easily be written off as a reflection from some source but not that night.Also I could not see anything solid between the circles as in a larger object.

White Spheres Sail Across Early Evening Skies.

I am not sure, I noticed a pure white sphere heading agains the cloud direction at a somewhat slow pace...like the pace of an air plane. I couldn't tell the altitude, but as that one sphere went across and disappeared another one followed behind it in the same direction, speed, and altitude. I don't know if they were balloons or what they were and I couldn't tell if the went behind the cloud level or infront, but it was really neat to see and I snapped off three shots on my digital camera, but I don't know if you could even see the spheres or not.

Possible UFO- but more importantly, the alien experience

I can't be certain whether this was actually a UFO, because I live approximately 5 miles from the Airport. We see and hear jets/planes/cessna's/helicopters everyday, all night long.

However, the odd thing about this craft was that, it was triangle shaped, and it had odd patterned lighting. They were arranged to illuminate the craft, and the lights were all white. Whereas, on the normal aircraft that we observe everyday, there are an array of colors like yellow, white, blue, etc.

Anyhow, the lights were not only arranged oddly, but they blinked and glowed in a very transe like manner. They blinked so fast and in some sort of pattern, it really stood out like an oddity, nothing that we're accustomed to seeing. I was on the balcony of our third floor apartment when i saw it, so I called out for my sister, and she came out and dismissed it as a plane. But, I just had that "odd" feeling in my stomach. Anyway, this hasn't been the first time for me to have these "supernatural" occurences.

I believe I was visited by "aliens" one night while I was sleeping. I woke up several times, paralyzed, and couldn't speak or move, but I was able to think clearly. I could not see a clear figure, but I was very terrified and frightened and the being that was in front of my face was telling me to go back to sleep, and was putting something into my ear.

The second or third time that I awoke, I couldn't take it anymore, so I started praying telling the being that in "Jesus Christ's name, to go away, and leave this room". And it finally left me. I did research and found out that there are a lot of people who've had the same experiences as I, and there is a site that you can learn more at: www.alienresistance.org

I Believe that all of these sitings and experiences are part of what Christians believe to be the "Great Deception". What this means is that Aliens are going to show themselves and try to get people to worship them.

In reality these "aliens" or "Gods from above" are really demons. Why do you think that every alien abduction or experience like mine is always so frightening and terrible? Formation of lights appeared in the sky, dashed away to the horizon.

Low altitude thick cloud cover, heavy humidity. I was outside, having a cigarette with a friend, when to the north/northwest a formation of lights appeared out of nowhere above the treeline, behind the clouds. It consisted of two longer ovals of turquoise blue light parallel lengthwise to each other, and a smaller red oval in between the blues at one end. It hovered more or less stationary for approximately 2-3 seconds, then dashed off to the north/northwest horizon with no evident acceleration at a VERY fast speed. There was no sound during the entire incident.

I saw it appear, then dash, while my friend only looked up in time to see it streak away.

2 other friends were inside the house, and did not witness the event.

It occured in a suburb of a minor midwest city, and even with the low cloud cover, we were far enough away from the city that there was no glow in the sky. We were standing on a back porch, with a fairly bright porch light behind us.

I was standing in the back yard of my parents house when I noticed, coming from the north a triangular set of seven lights all white in color, moving very slowly on a direct straight line due south in the general direction of New York City.

The triangular formation of lights seemed to be fixed in relation to each other as if the lights were part of one solid object that I would estimate to have been over one football field in diameter.

The lights from this huge, dark object seemed to be "floating" no more than maybe 1000 feet above the ground.

At no time did I hear any sound coming from this object at all and as it passed over me the seven white lights all turned to a deep red color all at once.

I continued to follow this object with my eyes until it was lost by me still heading south.

Burnt circle in field

I'm sorry but I don't know the exact date, or even year, because this happened in my youth. (The 70's} We lived by a cornfield and the corn was still green, so it must have been some time during the summer. This happened in Yorktown Indian, right beside walnut street, a few miles out side Muncie, about 40 miles from Indianapolis. I remember that my parents would invite my grand parents over to watch the strange lights and vehicles in the sky. I remember seeing a few cigar shaped objects in the sky my self, but this isn't the main part of my sighting. As a kid the neighborhood children and myself would play in the cornfields. Most of us knew about the lights, but being young we really didn't think much of it. What we did find that that struck us as odd was a circle burned into the corn, far out in the field. It was as I remember a perfect circle of charred corn stalks about six inches wide, and the circle was about fifteen to twenty feet across. The corn was pressed flat, as was the unburned corn inside the circle. We knew the field pretty well and there was no farm machinery that went through the field during those summer months. Out side the circle were sets of footprints that led out of the circle, but not very far from it then back to the circle. What we found so unusual about them to us was that they were maybe 4 to six inches deep, with no tread marks, the bottom of the prints were flat with no tread that would be on a normal shoe or farmers boot. On the surface of the footprint in the dirt was something that looked like green moss. There were no tire marks leading to or away from the circle. The soil wasn't soft, we didn't leave prints this deep, while we ran and played in the field, and that's what we found odd also. I brought my mother out to the site so she also witnessed it. She didn't know what to make of it ether. My older brother was one of us kids that saw it also. There are no military bases in the area, or even a airport of any size, so I don't think it was some "government project". As far as I know the field is still there, and Yorktown is a very small town sleepy farm town, so I don't think anything has been built over the area. If needed I can locate the other people that I knew at the time to verify the story, (the other children, by brother, and mother.

Multi lights over Yorktown

I don't remember the exact year or month. But I do remember a LOT of lights (maybe in the East) There were maybe a dozen lights in the night sky at any one time. Could have been more. I know at one point there was a beam of light like a laser. It went straight down, and then sort of travelled back up to the light. Also one was surrounded by a pinkish smoke and a search light. At the end, they kind of went into the largest light. (mother ship?)This lasted for a long time. And neighbors came up to my mothers house to look at it. I know it must have been seen by others only because of the length of time and the numbers in the sky.
