Some sort of object hovering and moving in unnatural ways for a long period of time

When returning to my bed after using the bathroom I noticed what at first I thought was a plane moving in an odd way. Then all of a sudden the object starting moving backwards. There were white and red lights. I could not make out shape but from the unnatural movement knew it was not a plane. The object appeared to float left to right and up and down. It stayed in the same area. It was slowly ascending during this time period because of where it was moving in my window view. By two am it was above my line of sight.

Cousin and my uncle and aunt saw crafts being chased by military.

My cousin was taking her baby out the car when she heard loud jets and helicopters, this was right before the sun set she saw black helicopters chasing approx 15 UFO’s. She said they seemed like they were playing with the jets and helicopters they were zapping around them, she then took her phone and recorded them, my uncle also saw this and was in shock he said it was like a Star Wars movie behind the house. This was during the Chinese balloon and ufo shoot downs , Wayne doesent have a near by base , incident lasted around 30 mins, my cousin friend also heard and seen the incident across town.

We saw a bright diamond shape fly across the sky.

We both noticed a diamond shaped white craft with a red haze around it appear high in the sky at 10:05 pm, hover for a few seconds then fly southwest away from town. When I held my hand up to the sky, it appeared to be about the size of the palm of my hand.

Both witnesses (myself and one other person) are college students in Wayne, NE. I am a believer that we are not alone in this universe. The other witness is a hardcore skeptic who always has rational explanations for the unexplained. He could not explain what he saw other than a possible UFO.

It came from the S.E. over the railroad tracks and over the church

Was taking my dog for a late night walk behind the church in my subdivision. I felt pressure and rumbling and my 120 lb American Bulldog got between my legs. It came over the trees about 100 ft over the Maple's and it was pitch black no lights at all and it took almost a full minute to pass over. I had a high powered lumen flashlight and as it passed me I shined the beam at the back of the object and nothing was there except what looked like heat waves. Then it was gone .

My wife and I were driving westbound along Route 80 in Wayne, NJ just after midnight on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Above us, traveling in the same direction but remarkably faster was a circular object. This object had one bright red light at its center surrounded by a bright white ring of light. The object flew overhead quickly before stopping on a dime mid-air. The object then shot straight up out of sight even faster than it had been traveling parallel to the ground. My wife and I were both taken aback as we have never seen anything like this. I consider myself pretty open-minded but my wife is a huge skeptic and even she feels like what we saw was not any kind of technology known to the general public.

So me and my brother were driving home through this town. And up in the sky was these bright orange yellow lights. At first we thought it was a helicopter because it pirouetted twice. But it wasn't blinking. So this is the country side and alot of people have airplanes, so then we thought it was a plane on fire, because it was falling and spinning and it was so bright. But then it leveled of at about 80 feet. And in a blink of an eye it was atleast 3 miles away then just disappeared. I called a friend the next day and she lives in this town and she saw it too and thought it was a crashing plane. But I'm telling you it was not!!! And there was no sound, which I found odd.

Saw multiple aircrafts, a bright white light and smaller red lights.

Started out by just seeing a bright yellow/white light in the sky just sitting still for a while - definitely wasn't a star. Kept looking at it for around 5 min and some dimmer red lights (like speckles) brighten up all around the bright light. My eyes were locked on to it and I see air crafts fly above the trees. Their shape were four "donuts" arranged with one on the top/bottom and one each on the side; Think like the body arrangement of a butterfly with one "donut" for its head, tail and wings. They zoomed by incredibly quickly and that was the last I saw of them. The bright light slowly moved out of view over the course of 25 min.

Strange orange and red lights flying in formation

On September 27th, 2015, at approximately 7:45 - 8pm… I had exited the front entrance of our townhouse, which faces South and had walked across the street to an empty lot belonging to a church to walk the dog. My sister and our neighbor were heading out to the porch to watch the lunar eclipse or blood moon.

The night was overcast and the moon was mostly hidden by the clouds, but you could get a glimpse of it from time to time. My cocker Spaniel and I had crossed the field and were approaching a maintenance shed near the church’s parking lot, when I glanced back to see if I could see the moon.

Suddenly I saw 3 orange lights in a perfect triangular formation flying from Southeast to Northwest. My first thought was that they were planes or maybe helicopters, but there was something strange about them… There was no sound whatsoever, they were traveling at a steady speed (faster than an airplane), and seemed to float across the sky almost like a Chinese lantern or something. Then two more orbs appeared behind the first three like two points of a triangle, only this time the orbs were red instead of orange.

The orange orbs remained in triangular formation with the two red orbs trailing behind somewhat. All 5 of the lights seemed to be moving at the same speed and trajectory.

By this time, I was a little scared and had moved close to the shed as not to be detected by aliens or whatever I was seeing. At this time they were almost directly overhead and to my North passing directly by. I could see their elevation increasing as they floated further Westward, never changing speed or breaking formation.

As the last red orb was moving away from my location, and I was certain there were no more coming behind, I came out from hiding behind the maintenance shed and walked swiftly home to ask my sister and our neighbor if they has seen the strange lights. How could they have missed it? They were sitting right out front looking up at the moon right? Sadly, they didn’t see a thing and probably think I’m making this up, but I assure you I’m not.

I watched the local news at eleven with no mention of the phenomenon, then came upstairs to see if I could find anything online about it. Surely someone else must have seen this. Then I found this site and decided to leave a report in hopes that someone else will corroborate my sighting. We live near the airport… I am very familiar with our normal air traffic… These lights were like nothing I’ve seen before!

I was walking my dog on the afternoon of Feb 26th along Elisebeth St. just before Mi. Ave. It was aprox 13:30 in the afternoon when my dog stopped in his tracks and looked up into the sky. I looked up myself and saw a cigar shaped object hovering roughly 5,000 ft. directly above where I was standing, which was at the opening to the dog trail.

The object was a gun metal grey with no visable lights on it. It had what looked like a distortion in the air underneith the object that looks like heat coming off a sidewalk. I could not get a photo of it because of my trying to keep my dog still next to the road and by the time I got my phone out it was gone.

Several people in cars at the light at Mi. Ave. must have seen it because they were all looking up in the sky. The object was smooth with no markings of any kind on it as far as I could see in the short time I saw it. I neglected to report it because I didn't want to sound like a kook, but this was no drone because even with no point of perspective I could tell that it was at least the size of a school bus if not larger. I have never seen it again and I have gone back daily to try to get another look at it.

Fast moving object changing color and making tight curved maneuvers/changes of direction with near equal climb and dive speed

At approximately 12:15 A.M. I was preparing to drive home after spending Christmas with family, when I first noticed what I thought was a meteoroid. It caught my attention in the Southern sky at about 35 degrees and was on a Southerly heading straight down toward the horizon. As a former member of the North West Jersey Amateur Astronomer club, I found it unique in that it clearly changed color from blue to purple, but the flight path was straight and the speed was commensurate with a typical fast moving meteoroid, so I continued to prepare for my drive.

Within one to two minutes, I noticed that the object had climbed back out of the horizon and was making a series of turns that resembled the maneuvers of an aerobatic aircraft, with loops and turns that seemed to slow lightly at apex. The object changed colors about 2-4 times per second and seemed distant in the Southern sky, climbing no higher than about 45 degrees. What was especially odd was the relative speed of climbs and dives, which were closer to the speed of a a meteorite but clearly with maneuvering. Based on my experience as a certified PPL, I would describe the maneuvers as governed by aerodynamics, with no sharp angled turns, but the speed of climbs and the acceleration in directional changes exceeds what I have seen out of even military aircraft at close range during airshows. At an apparent distance, no conventionally powered turbine aircraft could display such speed and even if my judgment of distance was off, the climbs would still be out of the realm of possibility for any rotorcraft such as a drone. The climbing speed was dramatic.

In order to verify what I was seeing, I went back to the house and pounded on the window to get my sister's attention. I motioned for her to come outside and when she did, the object was still maneuvering aerobatically and changing colors. After another minute or so the object dove back down into the Southern horizon and did not reappear.

From my perspective, the object had bounded its maneuvers within and below the constellations of Canis Major and Orion.

The object appeared distant and was only seen as a bright point of light, approximately equal in magnitude to Sirius.

2 Glowing circular crafts high in sky, not satellite or plane by deductive logic, disappeared in a flash.

I looked up and, as in my past sightings, saw a round flying/gliding (such smooth fluid movement) objects that looked small enough to be a star but again it was moving, it was too high to be a plane and it didn't have blinking lights like all the other planes clearly overhead, again it was up sooo high way past where planes fly. It didn't fly straight enough and I have to assume it was traveling too fast to be a satellite (how high it was and how quick it went across sky was way too quick considering every inch it traveled was probably a ridiculous amount of miles. Made planes look like slow pokes) I followed until it disappeared, which means it zipped off or went too high in altitude, as the sky was very clear no clouds. That one disappeared and a minute or two later I saw another in a different area of the sky, same as the other, traveling around way too high to be a plane, glowing as bright as a star.

All together it was 10-15 minutes of observation

3 Lights rotating fixed to each other that split up and flew off fast.

I was going with my girlfriend to ((name of store deleted)) in Wayne on Rt 23, when I looked up as 3 lights caught my eye.

There were 3 lights (white) fixed in orbit as they slowly, slowly rotated I think anti-clockwise. I shouted "LOOK!" as the lights were so unusual with such a flight path and at such slow speed.

Then I thought it could be a hoax, but then as the yrotated in fixed orbit with each other, the top most light ball, very rapidly went upwards and away from the other 2 lights, then the lower 2 lights leveled out to a flat plane, then as it became level with the horizon, a single red light began to blink between the 2 white lights that were left behind. At this point I simply thought, "Oh, it's a plane." But in the morning realized that did not explain the fixed orbit rotation of all 3 lights initially, then the single orb that flew up and away rapidly. While my common sense tried to kick in and tell me this was only an aircraft, the more it did not make ! sense. I am totally bummed I had not seen in a few seconds sooner and wish I had stopped the car to see the whole sequence of events, as we were looking to park the car. What is funny is that I saw enough for myself to convince me it was something different, but as soon as I shouted "LOOK!" and my gf looked, it began acting more like an aircraft except for the 1 light I could not explain. Totally confused and amazed all at once. An awesome start to 2014 :)

I was I the car with my girlfriend and I noticed an odd looking orange light in the sky. I jokingly said to her, "Check it out, it's a UFO," but the longer I looked it just didn't seem like a plane. It wasn't blinking, moving very slow, and she said, "I think you're right, because that's no plane." We were stuck at a red light and all of a sudden it disappeared right before our eyes. It was the oddest thing, and the overpowering sense of fear that I felt. I can't prove it was a UFO because as I mentioned we were in the car and I could not justify the direction of the wind or anything. Maybe it was one of those Chinese lanterns, but I figured sending a report wouldn't hurt, maybe somebody else saw it.

Looking at saturn with binoculars in triangle formation very weak little lights moving faster than a plane

I was looking at saturn in my 15x79 binoculars and while i was trying to get it in my view.to the left I seen movement i got it in my view which is 4 degrees it filled most of the 4 degs.there were three objects moving togeather in triangle formation very fain lighton all three i took binos away and looked couldnt see anything moving quit fast, I put binos back up real quick seen them as they were going over metro airport they disappeared no noinse at all. If I didnt see them in binos i would not have seen them.

If it was a plane it was a B-2 and i doubt that.

Extremly fast unknown plane possibily DoD spraying chemtrails Wayne, NJ

I saw two planes which were small flying in a pair over Kinnelon, NJ. They crossed the sky in seconds. Faster than anything I've ever seen. Then about 10 minutes later they zoomed across the horizon again (Wayne, NJ). They were spraying something-whitish. Later my car was covered with residue and this whitish dust flaked off like aluminum oxide.

The planes were silver, small with no markings-not the type that would be used for commercial flight-probably military on a chemtrails operations is my best guess. Why would spray a residential area? There have been many strange "contrails" criss-crossing the sky in 2009-2010. Coming from Lakewood Air Force Base? Not alien planet.

Amphibious light in Wayne, Maine.

I live beside Lake Androscoggin, Wayne.

Upon entering my bedroom I noticed a small light shining into the room from outside the window which moved across the room and disappeared. I first thought nothing of it and presumed it must have been light from a car headlight. Then it happened again, but this time the light moved very quickly and zigzagged through the window.

Thinking that some kids were playing with a torch, I looked out of the window so see the source of the light. I waited there for roughly 40 seconds before I noticed a light 0.5 miles away on the other side of the lake, behind a small wooded area opposite the harbour. It appeared to be a ball of light, perfectly spherical with what I would estimate to have a diameter of 15-20 feet and pulsed slowly.

The sphere moved at a jogging pace and weaved aimlessly through the trees. It would appear to slowly move down to the lakeside and stop there after completing a circuit of the wooded area. The sphere appeared to rotate as it would beam light every 1 minute, which I believe I first saw beaming through my bedroom window.

I woke my wife and she was curious to what it could be, so she went to look in my son’s room for binoculars. By the time she returned to the bedroom the light had stopped, but then over the lake, probable 0.8 miles from the wooded area where we had seen the light, a strobe light flickered and then disappeared over the banks of the lake at 25 mph.

2 orange colored objects flying and stopping over WAYNE, MICHIGAN

I was outside smoking on the balcony facing East from my apartment. From West to East 2 reddish orange circles came flying at a high rate of speed in the sky directly above my apartment. They were almost side by side at first, then they came to almost a complete stop for about 3-4 seconds before moving apart from each other a great distance at a slow rate of speed. After that they got really close to each other as if they were in sync and moved extremely fast (way faster then they flew in at first) to the east again and then slowed down before going into the tree line behind my apartments. These objects were silent, no noise at all. I have a very clear view of the sky from my balcony and have never witnessed anything like this in my life here. I live about 5 miles Northeast of Detroit Metro Airport, in Wayne, Michigan. There were numerous planes in the sky at this time of incident as I seen them all over after they disappeared. This is a very high traffic area and is really close to a major airport for the United States (northwests main hub) so it should be on their radar reports somewhere.

Bright, Cigar Shaped UFO following Commercial Jetliner in NJ

I live underneath a congested air traffic area that it used for approaches to Newark Liberty, Laguadia, and JFK. The bright, white, cigar shaped object that my grandmother and I spotted was following an approaching commercial jetliner. The UFO was located slightly above the jetliner, following from a distance of about 5-10 miles behind it. The UFO didn't make any sharp movements, nor did it grossly stand out. The UFO simply followed the jetliner at a constant safe speed in a direct straight line.

bright white lights with rapid speeds

I was traveling on ratzer road when I noticed a bright white light in the sky having no direction and at times just hoovering and then flying off quickly . I was heading in the direction it went and I found it again still having no direction and flying at rapid speeds. Then I noticed a triangular silver craft with 3 bright white lights and at times had blinking red lights and no sound slowly head south towards the other craft I was following. It was flying very low and slow. Definetly not an airplane!!

I was sitting in my bed when a bright array of lights caught my eyes. I looked out the window and noticed a flying object no more than 500 ft in the air. At first I thought it was a airplane, but then then it picked up speed, and moved one mile in less then 3 seconds. Then it dissapered. The second sighting, it was the same object, over the same area, flying the exact same route, except this one just dissapered into the after 3 seconds........the lights on the craft were weird, they were yellow, green, blue, and black. Loud Explosion Booms w / Earthquakes Heard all over North Jersey USA 11/30/2004

There were a series of loud boom like explosions from 11:00 am - 1:00 PM, the entire towns heard them and then the ground shook, registered a 1.7 earthquake, seismic center could not figure out where these loud explosions came from, thousands of people heard, the local police stations were flooded with calls, not for the earthquake but the loud booms heard, I believe the booms caused the ground to shake, but was not an earthquake, where these bangs originated or how or why, no one seems to know, well not that I know of anyway? What someone saw in Venice Beach, CA is exactly what my husband and I saw on Sunday evening. At first I thought it was a balloon because it was just kind of floating slowly through the air. But then it rotated and I saw that it was actually flat. My husband noticed that it rotated in a systematic fashion - it wasn't just haphazardly moving through the air. It was pretty high, so it looked small, but it wasn't high enough to be a satellite. My husband ran to get his binoculars, but by the time he came back it wasn't viewable anymore.

I was comming home from Omaha with 2 friends. We went to a concert and left early. As we were pulling into wayne, about 2 hours north of Omaha, I was hanging out the window because it was really cold and we were playing a game. I looked up and saw a sphere like light that moved across the sky and stopped, then went in the opposite direction, then disappeared. I had told my friends and we pulled over and by the time we pulled over it had vanished. It was probably 1000ft.up in the air, and was very bright. It was probably a one of the coolest thing i had ever seen.

A round circle of white light split off into 3 circles which rotated around location of original circle every 2 or 3 seconds.

A round circle of white light was seen against a partially clouded sky.Impossible to determine altitude. This circle split up into 3 other circles of approximately the same size as the original circle, and proceded to move outward at rapid speed in a clockwise direction, merging into one circle again at points equidistant from each other. After merging, the 3 circles appeared as one circle again and paused in this location for perhaps 1/2 second before repeating the same splitting up into a 3 circle pattern. This whole process took approximately 2 or 3 seconds for each repitative pattern. This pattern was repeated over and over again for 45 minutes and then suddenly disappeared.The light pattern remained in the same location in the sky, that is to say, in the northeast about 45 degrees above the horizon. We have had no further sightings of this phenomenon as of today, Sept. 21st. We are two retired school teachers, sound of mind and body, and witnessed this event from our own backyard.

Some kind of object was floating over one of my cows.

I went out to my barn, before going to work to check on a couple of my cows and check their water. This is a big barn, with two sliding doors on the front, each about 15 ft. tall, and 7 ft. wide. I leave the doors open during the summer so air can cirulate. When I walked in the was a thing floating over top of a cow. I'll try to describe it. It was about the size of a tire, but square, and angled down on all of it sides. It looked about 8 in. thick, and maybe 3 ft. wide, and it was black with some kind of grey markings on it. The thing actually looked kind of beatup. When I walked in, the thing just floated there for a couple of seconds, then went over my head, and out the door. It didn't go real fast over me, but I don't know where it went once it got outside, and it didn't make any noise. I looked a good while for it, but never saw it again. I went back inside the barn to check on my cattle, they go in and out, that's where they water at, and found the cow that the thing was floating over. She looked and acted alright, but I found a place on her ear that looked like she had been poked with a needle or somthing. There was just a tiny bit of blood there, and also her eye on that side of her head, had like a broken blood vessel in it. I told my wife what I saw, and she told me that I was crazy, so I thought I would tell you. I was also late for work because of this dawgone thing.

My daughter & myself were driving & my daughter noticed it first & put my attention to this thing. It was black, no lights or noise, like a v shape & it was kind of flat on the top & bottom. It was probably less than 1000 ft high up. It just was suspended there & slowly rotated one time & then stopped.

We just watched it. My daughter looked at the time in the car & I guess we watched it for approx. 8 min. When it started to rise, it kind of turned one side towards the sky & ascended rather fast. I think it looked like a rod shape cause of the position as it rose.

I watched it until it disappeared into the clouds. It looked like a pencil line in the clouds.

It was about 6pm, still daylight. It had no cockpit or front end like a plane has. I can't believe the good view we had of it. It manuevered itself so easily as if had no trouble with gravity. It's hard to explain. Did anyone else see this? Thanks

my family and i were sitting in camping chairs outside our camper at our barn in wayne ny. we saw a light move in unpredictable dir

It was a summer camping trip at the barn in the summer, as usual. My family and I were camping in our new camper on our 90 acre property in Wayne NY, with 2 ponds and a barn and mostly fields but also some woodlands. It was the summer of 2000, I don't remember if it was July or august, but I was 12 going to be 13 a couple months later. I always brought my gameboy on camping trips and I played it all the time when I was bored, during those years of intense nys education decompression (I was gruelled with a spectacular team of junior high teachers pushing their college education on us all in my class, and needed much needed down time as a young lad with the gameboy color). I don't know why I thought I was significant to the sighting and why I keep mentioning the gameboybexcept for the fact that the ship hull I saw later looked a lot like the surface of the main chip in my purple gameboy color. I could just be stringing together coincidences like the recent discoveries in oxhyrinchus Egypt in 2014, though that's much less relevant.

Anyway, the sighting: it was twilight approaching dark; the frogs were chirping around the larger of the two ponds we faced, as we all sat in foldup camping chairs outside our camper on the east south side of the barn.none of us noticed a light moving in weird directions, and eventually we all noticed it as it moved to and fro, up and down, in squares, and diagonals. It seemed to be at a considerable distance from the horizon above our large pond, at least as far as a little past the neighbors yard at least ten acres distance further south on that road. It moved in all weird directions for probably like 20 minutes while we all were shocked and transfixed in our chairs. The wierdest part is coming up...
I got really really nervous and I think something like i told everyone I was thirsty and needed water or a snack or both or something from supplies we kept in the barn. My mom agreed to walk with me, and I think it wad on ournway therr , or way back where I remember thisnmost specific memory that is the main reason in the first place for me to report this incident that more than shocked me as young person and changed the way I thought about everything afterwards:
On our walk from the camper to the barn, me and my mom stopped because we felt a disturbance. I looked up and saw the underbelly hull of some sort of obviously far advanced beyond our own tech but not alien in design, ship. It was moving slowly at one or 2 miles per hour, 10-20 feet above our heads. The ship was probably at least like 20 to 30 feet wide in the horizontal underbelly diameter. It looked like the chip on my gameboy color (a thought I realized minutes later on the dazed walk back to the camper).
Anyway, I saw it as we paused in this split second moment: I looked upmsnd saw it moving at that 1.5 mph pace, then it zipped off east at breakneck acceleration, faster than any car could accelerate. My mom never noticed the second apparition (probably because she didn't look up in time compared to a twitchy 12 year old) Making the second and more detailed sighting less credible, but said she felt something and she was unnerved from what I noticed. The ship moved so quickly and I noticed from physics classes I took that it accelerated to faster than a jet within .1 or .2 seconds?

When the ship, which encompassed most of my oversight as I looked up and blocked most of the stars at now near 10 o clock pm, zoomed into either an alternate dimension through a line, or a line illusion was created intelligently by the ship's operator or the shipnitself? It seemed to me like the ship had intelligently revealed itself, and its cloaking device was intentionally deactivated at certain parts of the ship to be seen. Why it would want me to see it would remain a mystery, though I eventually theorized it could possibly be future humans playing with history like a time turner.
And I played the gameboy color again the next day, and couldn't stop staring at the chip and thought how similar it looked to that gleaming reflective metallic underbelly of the ship I saw the night before, disappearing behind a line of nothing, an "imaginary"mathematical line that was not just mathematically precise but also real.

It was around 9 pm that when Me and my Aunt seen this happen.We were walking the dog down too the creek and then we both looked up so did the dog .All i could remember is that we just stood there and watched in aww!.I dont know how long or how much time went by but it was like time stopped or flew by .But as we looked my Aunt told me ((name deleted)) its weird.It had lights that u wouldnt see on a plane or chopper.Orange,Green,Blue .And just hovering over the woods about south over the woods and golf court.All i know is that i remember this so well its like it was yesterday!.But me or her dont remember how we got back too the house .But as i can say too this day i have a bump in the back of my neck that i cant explaine what it is .My wife cant get it out nor it hurts when she trys .But it seems like something hard .But its shaped weird also .But as i can say me and My Aunt have been descising it over yahoo messenger this past nite and .All the things i spoke to her about seem too be exact in detail as what she said too me .I hope someone can figure out what the hell happend that nite in Wayne Nj .

I was around 8. Saw an amber light arc over my house and stop directly over me. It “looked” at me or seemed to know I was there.

The year was 1978 or 79. I was around 8 years old. It was mid summer and very hot. It had just gotten dark and my mother asked me to take the trash out to the trash can. Our trash can was basically right outside our back door and across the driveway a few steps. The back door light was on so I could see easily. I walked over, put the bag in the can and just as I was putting the lid back on, I felt I needed to look up over my right shoulder. When I did, I saw an amber colored oval glowing light arc in the sky over my house. It abruptly stopped almost directly over me. It seemed to notice I was there because it came right over top of me and stopped. It seemed to move over to my position with intent. I don’t know how high up it was but if I had to guess, I would say maybe 1000 ft?. I can say that it was large. If you held a nerf child sized football out in front of you, that would be about the size it was in the sky and almost the same shape but with more rounded ends. I looked at it in total awe for a few seconds and it felt like it “looked” at me too. Then it took off the same way it came….very very fast. Even at the age of around 8 I knew it was very strange and I was stunned. I ran in the house and told my mother but of course the thing was gone and she didn’t see it. I still remember it vividly to this day. I feel like it somehow got my attention so I would look up and see it. It was completely silent so it wasn’t a noise that provoked me to look up. I just had the sense that something was up there and I needed to see it and the way it moved so quickly to be almost right over me still makes feel like it knew I was there. (I know that sounds weird). It moved very swiftly and smoothly. I’ve tried to explain to people how it moved and the only way I can describe it is by taking a flashlight and pointing the light on a wall and then moving the light in an arc very steadily. It just moved so smoothly across the sky but fast. It was gone in a split second. I’ve seen some other lights in the sky but nothing that looked or moved like that one

Hovering Silver Metalic Disk

I was watching a special on UFO’s several days ago and part of the television program featured the North Bergen sighting of George O’Barsky in 1975. Suddenly a light bulb went off and I began to put two and two together regarding an incident which my wife and I experienced in Wayne, New Jersey around the same time as the North Bergen incident. My personal experience that night has stayed so fresh in my mind, so much so that I can replay it as if it happened yesterday, even after all these years. After watching that TV episode, my curiosity got the best of me and I Googled ..”UFO sightings in New Jersey 1975” and the details of that siting appeared.

Let me review some background specific information about myself. I think you will agree that I am an exceptionally reliable and credible source with particular training in careful observation due to my chosen career. I graduated from University in March of 1972 and received an appointment to the FBI Academy in June 1972. After completing my 16 weeks of training, as a newly minted Special Agent, I was transferred to my first assignment and during early fall of 1974 I received new orders to the New York City division of the FBI. Since my wife and I had friends who lived in Wayne, N,J we decided to settle in that area and decided I would commute into NYC daily. We found an apartment in Cedar Grove and settled in.

After my commute home late one afternoon in Spring 1975, I asked my wife if she was up for a drive over to a Mall on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne where there was an Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips. She agreed and we set out, making our way from Cedar Grove down Route 23 and finally over to Valley Road in Wayne. As we were about a quarter mile from the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Valley Road my wife looked over at me with a surprised look on her face pointing up to the right and says... “There’s a UFO.” Being a died in the wool skeptic at the time, at least until verifiable facts present themselves directly before my eyes, I laughed and said.... “Yeah, right!” She leaned forward and pointed up and slightly to the right, and said, “No, right there, see.” Deciding to humor her, I leaned forward and looked up to where she was pointing, and there, suspended slightly above the tree line was this classically shaped, windowless, silver metallic, dome topped disk, with lights rotating around the rim at the bottom of the disk. Needless to say, with those obvious facts before my very eyes in real time the consummate skeptic in me quickly became a true believer.

Being a competently trained investigator, I needed to take a closer look at this one-of-a-kind event and we drove almost directly under the disk (it made no discernible sound or disturbance as we passed beneath the object), then straight through the intersection of Valley Road and Hamburg Turnpike where I took the first left into a bank’s parking lot. I drove to the nearest vantage point to the object in the parking lot adjacent to Hamburg Turnpike where my wife and I exited the car and stood on a grass strip at the corner of the intersection with an unobstructed view of the object as it made a slow deliberate approach towards us, parallel to Valley Road. I must say, this was the first time in my life I have stood and observed something that left me speechless; speechless, but not devoid of the ability to make rational judgements about the nature of what I was observing.

As we stood there, I made some very careful mental observations about its shape, dimensions, and the slowly advancing flight path it made towards us. There was no panic on our part, just simple curiosity in our observations. I have pulled up some Google Earth satellite views of the area and attached them as illustration. I marked the slow flight path of the object and our location in the parking lot on the scans. The entire event took perhaps half an hour at most from first sighting until, quite frankly, we became bored with the entire episode after the object slowly moved behind some buildings, and went on our way to the restaurant with, not surprisingly, with a new attitude towards UFO sightings and what lies beyond our little pathetic shell here on Earth. Let me say this, the object moved slowly and deliberately as if it was merely making normal anthropological research observations of a newly discovered species, and apparently the occupants did not give a royal ho! ot who saw their hovering craft. There were no fancy gyrations or blindingly fast departures, no electrical disturbances, no static discharges, no blinding bright lights, no strange sounds, no little green men peering from windows, just a gravity defying, hovering, metallic, slowly moving, classically shaped UFO disk in plain unobstructed daylight.

I estimated the object to be approximately 30 feet in diameter and perhaps half that in height from base to the top of the dome, with a classic slightly elongated UFO saucer shape. During my observation the object remained at just above tree top level and during the end of the observation it was suspended above the northern edge of the parking lot of a shopping mall opposite the Wayne Village Apartments. The time of day was late afternoon, with excellent visibility, and the observation ended just before darkness fell. There were no observable windows or exterior markings, no radical movements, no protrusions of any kind from the body of the craft, no little men waving from windows, and absolutely no sounds I could discern associated with the object. There was a series of colored neon like lights which traveled randomly around the very outermost circumference of the base of the disk which appeared to be integrated into the structure rather than attached to it in any obser! vable fashion. The lights would meet at random places on the disk, split apart, and reverse directions only to return from opposite directions and meet at another random spot, again splitting apart, repeating the cycle. Being a consummate plane spotter and having taken private pilot flight lessons, I knew this was not any terrestrial craft I was familiar with, and at one point I recall a TWA Boeing 727 flew directly over the object on its approach to a landing at Newark Airport. I could easily see the TWA logo illuminated on the tail of the aircraft. Once the object got even with Lancaster Court it paused, made a turn, and proceeded down Lancaster Court where it finally disappeared from sight. My last recollection of the object was a backlit side view illuminated by the setting sun and the object was at or slightly above the the level of the two story apartment buildings proceeding on a casual level course. I recall thinking anyone who happened to be gazing out those second! story apartment windows certainly would have been in for a real treat By this time our evening meal of Fish & Chips was long overdue. I looked at my wife and said: “Well, that settles that argument!” We both laughed. I do recall a story sometime later in the Star Ledger which detailed the observations made by bank customers at a People’s Bank regarding a sighting very similar to ours of a silver disk which was observed in Vineland, New Jersey. I believe that incident is listed in this sites incident reports.

A grey oval craft hovering over a hambuger standfor an hour about 200 feet above the light poles with no sound.

was a dark fall evening around 8:00pm in Wayne Michigan.

Many people were gathered at the corner of Wayne and Van Born rd. The community is well populated. I was at my upstairs bedroom.

My brother and I saw an oval shaped object in the sky. It might have been 200 ft above the light poles. It was light gray in color with a red light about a 45-degree angle from the craft. The craft was spinning but in the same place.

No sounds were heard. It hovered over this hamburger stand for at least 50 minutes.

During that time it shined a bright light from the front of the craft down towards the people below. It stayed on about a minute or two. About six times the craft would fly very fast off towards the west. All you could see in the distance would be the red light disappearing. As soon as you turned away to talk to someone, it would fly right back. Each time it went out toward the far distance it would come back just as fast as it left.

It continued to hover over the stand for about 5-10 min each. Then it would fly very far out, and come back again and hover.

After about an hour of this back and forth, it finally went away.

Rocket-like UFO Seen Flying Over Suburban Philadelphia In Summer of 1966 In the Summer of 1966 [last half of June, July, or first half of August] I viewed an unidentified object flying over a site along the "Main Line" suburbs of Philadelphia.

To me, the object looked like a rocket, as it was flying low enough that I was sure it had no wings. However, it was not flying vertically [i.e. flying up]; rather, it was flying horizontally, parallel with the ground, as you would watch an airplane or helicopter flying over. Again, there were no wings and no helicopter blades that I could see. The object was cigar-shaped like a rocket or missile, even though it was flying over land instead of up.

Like an airplane, the object simply flew over. Within a half-minute or less, it was gone. I assume the object must have made some type of sound [although I do not remember the sound], that caught my attention so I looked up to see it.

I cannot give an exact date, but it was seen sometime between the middle of June and the middle of August in 1966. This is when I was attending a summer camp at the Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pennsylvania, about fourteen miles west of Philadelphia.

The time of day was, as I recall, late afternoon.

At that time, I was standing near one of the barracks/dormitories {I believe it may have been Wheeler Hall] of the Valley Forge Military Academy. I believe this was the barracks where my dormitory room was located.

At the time, I was ten years old; I would turn eleven in the Autumn.

I did not notify anyone of the siting. It went so fast, I had no time to call anyone. And, since the vehicle was gone after a few moments, it did not seem to be of much value to tell anyone.

Since the object looked like a rocket or missile, I assumed it was of terrestrial origin. However, I did wonder why a rocket or missile was flying over suburban Philadelphia.
