Brief flash of light and metal object seemed to disintegrate and disappear

At 3:15 a.m. I was looking out our glass sliding door to the east when a flash of light occurred for less than a second. An object seemed to come from the north, lower than the moon, and then disintegrate before reaching the ground, like a piece of mylar burning up. It was silver with possible rows of rivets holding angular sheets of metal together. It sounded like a ‘whoosh” as it disintegrated. It seemed to disappear just before reaching the ground.

was moving west very slow at snail's pace right over the highway, three lights in a triangle configuration with originating from the center outwards very dark pitch black MOVING shadows (almost like a GAS being SPRAYED!!!!!! out) moving outward from the center through the middle of the 3 lights everything behind this craft just above and slightly below was pitch black thick fog cloud you could not see any stars at all, no moon either, just a wall of darkness right behind it as far as you could see.

it was completely silent and I could sware I felt a downdraft as it went over me I keep feeling little spasms in the back right side of my brain. I drove towards and into the cloud and out the other side to where I could see stars again barely kinda 40 miles to get out from under the black cloud cover I got a couple of pictures, kept getting yelled at by my girl to start driving away so I didn't have time to get video, we sat there and looked at it for a good 10 mins we both recognized it as NOT natural and highly mysterious. I hope if this is nefarious extraterrestrial or terrestrial terrorism that the government is fighting for us and not just hiding in bunkers

He got the binoculars out and noticed that it appears to be covered in green and red lights. He had me go out and look and that is what it looks like. My son could also see it from 8 miles away?

3 evenly spaced yellow/orange balls in the sky.. They then blinked out and almost immediately 6 evenly spaced appeared. They blinked out then a rapided progression of 9 appeared. Almost as if they were being fired out somewhere. I could see what appeared to be multipe small jet lights flying around the area. There was no noise from either the "fireballs" or what I would assume were fighter jets.

Moving light responded to a flashlight

We (my wife, my son, and myself) were talking to some friends (an adult married couple) that were visiting, and we were talking about lights in the sky because mutual friends told them we introduced these mutual friends to stargazing and satellite watching. We all started scanning the sky to see if we could see any and pointed out a few satellites to our friends. We saw a bright one come from the west to the east and disappear just east of directly overhead.

As our friends were getting into their car to leave we saw another light come from the south west headed north. We asked them to hurry up and look because this one was lower in the sky than the others we showed them were. When the light was west of us for the heck of it I flashed my light at it twice. I got an immediate response of a flash from this light. It went from a normal star sized light to almost a headlight sized light but very bright.

My wife immediately asked me to try it again and immediately it flashed again. The time from the first flash to the second was no more than 20 seconds.

It stayed still in that same place for another 5 minutes and then it just vanished. It was a little lower and west of The Big Dipper. I never thought I'd get a response from the light. I just did it for the heck of it. It flipped everyone out when it responded, not once but twice. I'd sure like to know what the heck it was.

Star sized light stops and flashes very brightly, seemingly in response to a flashlight.

Saturday July 10, 2010 at approximately 10:55 pm EST myself and four other adults were outside enjoying the first cool night in over a week. We were skywatching and we were pointing out satellites to the other couple and our grown son.

I pointed to one in the western sky headed due north and at approximately 40 degrees above the horizon and had them watch it. It was approximately the same size and brightness of the surrounding stars. My husband flashed his Ryobi flashlight twice at the "satellite" and it stopped WNW of us. It lit up about as bright as 20 or 30 stars. He again flashed his Ryobi at this light and again it flashed as brightly as the first time. The flashes were approximately 15 seconds apart.

While the others watched to see if it would move I came in and got the phone to call this in to NUFORC. I took the phone out with me and the object was still stationary. The position of the light was roughly 10 degrees south and west of Phecda.

I could see it until 11:02pm EST when it dimmed out and was no longer visible. We did not see it continue north.

The visiting couple were scared enough to leave, which they did while I was still on the hotline.

Elderly woman nearly 100 years of age reports being floated out to vehicle at night by three tall "doctors."

My mother passed away a few years ago at 102 years of age. All her life she was a very serious person with virtually no sense of humor. Although I could occasionally make her laugh with a joke, she would never joke herself. Watching comedies on TV for her, at least by watching her reactions, was no different from watching a business show. She took everything with the utmost seriousness and never made up stories. As a child I was not allowed to read Winnie the Pooh which she thought was silly. Also she literally "hated" cartoons. She worked as an editor for 30 years or more.

My mother told me one time that she had seen an unusual light outside her window. When I asked for details, she almost immediately became defensive as if she thought I did not believe her. At the time, she said it was very unusual and looked like a spacecraft; that is all I recall about that incident, which occurred back in the 1980s I believe.

The second time was different. (These events are the only two unusual events she ever reported to me.) I came into the house one morning and my sister said, Mom, tell him what happened. So she told me that she had been in bed asleep but was awakened by three tall men in the room. She said they were quite tall, with large eyes(?) and she assumed they were doctors. She said they had robes or gowns on as if it was a medical team. They seemed to be explaining something to her and made her feel calm about the situation, similar to the way a good doctor would do in a hospital examination setting. Then she said they took her out into the yard to a "bus" or some kind of vehicle; they did this by "floating" her out of the room, thru the large sliding doors which were closed (and remained closed as they did this so that she was somehow moved through the material of the door and glass etc.). Then she was on board a bus or large vehicle of some kind. Other people wer! e on it also, and everyone seemed to be relaxed and comfortable as if going on a voyage or day trip; there was no fear involved. She said the journey was very interesting and informative but she did not recall exact details. She said they brought her back the same way. (At the time, my mother was bedridden and would occasionally fall and was in danger that way, so we always kept a beeper alarm on her for safety.) I asked her to tell me again about the "doctors" and she repeated that they were tall and seemed to talk with her without moving their lips but they conversed with her in English and she understood them perfectly. She did not say they had hair or hats or anything and it was hard to get her to clarify that kind of thing.

Then I said, okay, so were these doctors like about 4 feet tall with big eyes and with no hair? and she said, "No, *those are the ones who work with you.*" When she said that I was absolutely astounded because she said it so seriously as if she knew about it, whereas I know of no such beings "working with me." And you have to remember again that my mother never joked or made up stories as long as she was alive. It just was not in her to do that. As for "science fiction," she simply called it "a contradiction in terms." (Her father was a university professor in mining engineering.) She knew that I was interested in UFOs; but when I discussed it with her, she had little interest; one time she explained to me that she felt about the ancient Egyptians & pyramids the same way I felt about UFOs, she was obsessed with the art & culture of ancient Egypt, the architecture and so forth. I had discussed the "ancient astronauts" ideas wi! th her which she found somewhat interesting. But these events happened at a time of her life when she was becoming more and more somnolent so that it was generally hard to catch her interest with much of anything. The point being that she was definitely not a "UFO buff," nor did she seek to view UFOs or watch UFO related movies and reports. Those things didn't grab her at all.

She never discussed this event further with me but my sister and I felt that it was a positive experience for her, as if it showed her there was something real in the afterlife (which I also believe, but never tried pushing this belief on her--she was always an atheist or agnostic even though we did pray at bedtime some when we were children and she taught us the Lord's Prayer, which her mom probably taught her).

While taking photos of an in flight C-130 I noticed a jet trail to the NNW and snapped a photo of it as well. I routinely zoom in on the photos to see how well the photo came out and when I zoomed in on the supposed jet there is a perfect sphere emitting what had appeared to be normal jet exhaust.

Yellow and Blue flashing lights that made the shape of a huge triangle

The four of us were driving to Madison on Highway 51, Rachel was driving, I was in the front passenger seat, and Jessica and Dana were sitting in the back. I first noticed in the southeast corner ahead of our truck a odd yellow light. It came on and then dimmed maybe 5 seconds later, I pointed this first light out to Rachel, simply cause it was kind of weird looking. She missed the first light but then a second light came on to the left of the first yellow light, this one again faded. We both were laughing and wondering what it could be as a third yellow light came to the right of the first one, and again faded. This was right around 6PM, probably no latter than 6:15. After the third light went out nothing happened for maybe a minuet, we were now all watching the sky, Dana who what sitting in the back seat drivers side, then noticed a blue flashing light. This light resembled a tower light, but was high in the sky, right after that, Dana noticed that there were actually three blue flashing lights that were all moving in unison, spread out a huge distance, maybe the size of a foot ball field or so, if you would have connected the “dots”/lights it would have made a triangle. These blue lights, I should specify were rather small, large enough to see, but not nearly as large as the yellow lights. The lights moved across the highway, sill in front of us a ways but coming in our general direction, moving diagonally across the highway. Once the lights crossed the highway Rachel could no longer really watch, she was still driving, (we totally should have pulled over) still watching the lights, now on the other side of the highway there was suddenly a really bright yellow light, same color and warm tone of the other yellow lights, but much much brighter. This light stayed on for maybe 10 or 15 seconds, then went out. I freaked out at this point, screamed “BIG yellow light” at this point none of us were really concerned or worried, but incredibly intrigued. The blue flashing lights that made up th! e large triangle shape were still flashing in unison. Maybe two minuets after the large light came on suddenly many yellow lights came on, and an object rotated.

Side note: I’m an art student and part of out schooling is learning how to draw and render space/depth of objects, and how objects really are shaped three dimensionally even if you can’t see the whole object. As this object rotated, the yellow lights that were on the side of it rotated in the way a triangle would.

So this object with the yellow lights that rotated was in the middle of the three flashing blue lights. The inner triangle rotated for maybe 10 seconds. At this point I was amazed and maybe scared, excited, it was a weird emotion. We continued driving, now that the yellow lights went out, the blue ones were still present and flashing for another few minuets. Along this part of the highway there were a lot of trees in the way, so I couldn’t tell if any other yellow lights went on or what happened exactly at this point, but when there was a break in the trees we could still see the blue lights, for maybe another five minuets. The whole event happened between Hancock and Coloma and lasted anywhere from 10 to 15 minuets. We pulled over in Westfield to see if anything was still going on, and we couldn’t see anything.

This was something absolutely remarkable. It was weird and I know most people that hear it that weren’t in the car, and didn’t see it themselves probably wont believe it. I am so happy I was three other people, so I don’t sound completely crazy. This thing was so huge and didn’t make a sound, it moved gracefully, just weird. I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed something like this. Whatever “this” may be. I definitely have some thoughts on the matter.

I stepped out to walk my dog. I looked up toward the north west sky and saw a brilliant orange glow high above the tree line. It seemed to move to the right, then to the left. I ran back in the house to get my camera,and when I returned outdoors, it was starting to quickly continue north west untill I could not see it anymore. It was brilliant orange with a star shaped halo.

Light flying northwest over Hancock.

My husband and I saw flying very slow and fairly low over the town of Hancock a light headed in a north easterly direction. Seen through the binoculars I saw two lights but one object. I did not see a distinct shape. There was no sound, no flashing lights. My husband says it was sort of oval, but he saw it through the binoculars while it was closer than when I saw it. Just about 30 seconds after the object went over the town of Hancock there was a jet flying much much higher and in a south westerly direction.

The guys were working on the lawnmower and I was standing on the back porch.

As usual I was scanning the sky. There was a circular non blinking light traveling from the northwest to the southeast about as high as a piper cub would normally fly. We all saw it both with the naked eye and using 10-50 binoculars. Even after dark (this sighting was at dusk) airplanes are distinguishable through binoculars and this remained a circular bright light. It was traveling at approximately half the speed of a piper cub and there was no sound. It wasn't a helicopter because they can be heard even from within the house. Just before it went too low on the horizon to see anymore a small plane passed it. The plane was obviously a plane.

Elongated cigar shape, translucent or transparent, controlled flight, no fuselage

I was swimming at Hancock Point Dock, and after a swim, I laid down on the dock on my back. I had sunglasses on; these screened out UV and so I could see quite well. Clouds were at high altitude (cirrus), mostly blue sky and the clouds were scattered. I had been thinking that it would be a good time to spot and observe a UFO, which I am interested in generally. Previously at the dock, I had seen some somewhat unusual things including one craft which looked like a more angular Space Shuttle with no contrail at high altitude going southwest to northeast (that was in a previous month perhaps about May 2007, and it occurred just after the Space Shuttle was launched that day, so I assumed I may have seen the Space Shuttle although it seemed impossible to me at the time). Anyway on this day I was relaxed after swimming and saw a tubular shaped object. This looked like a translucent plastic tube, slightly tapered at both ends. It was proceeding from north to south at high altitude but below the cirrus clouds. I could see that because of its altitude, and because I could see it clearly, it must have been quite large, I would estimate about 30 feet wide or less. It looked like the general shape of straight across airplane wings, but was translucent looking similar to what a bubble or translucent plastic balloon, no color, and could see blue sky through it. Also, there was no fuselage or anything attached. The object moved much like airplane wings, not along its long axis but along the short axis for its direction of travel. It appeared quite stable in its motion and direction. I observed it for a minute or more; and although it did not seem to go behind any clouds, the object disappeared from view while it should have stayed in view. It did not look like any sort of "floater" or eye defect like that; it looked like a real object similar to a very high altitude balloon, and it did seem to slightly block out the upper cloud layer above it as it flew between me and the high cloud layer. It was defin! itely be low the cloud layer. Toward the end of the time when I was carefully watching this object, it seemed to waver slightly as if it was slightly shifted by wind, but this variation was very slight, and may have been a result of my own motion or even my imagination comparing the object's motion to the nearby cloud layer. This is really only the second time I felt I saw something unusual. In the early 1960s I saw a green fireball at night, silent, with green particles flying off it, but I had assumed at that time it was some sort of near Earth meteor and nothing very unusual-- (although that was the most phenomenal sighting of anything in my life-- with one friend (we were camping out, and my friend also saw that object). But that was huge; this translucent balloon looking thing was relatively tiny compared to that. There was no sound associated with the elongated balloon thing. One thing I would like to mention about it was that it did not seem random in its motion; rather, it stayed transverse to its flight path at all times as if it was controlled; a balloon would have moved end over end somewhat; this did not do that at all. As I said also it had no fuselage whatsoever, and seemed to have nothing at all other than the elongated translucent plastic looking material, slightly tapered at the ends but not pointed. I was wide awake at the time of the sighting, having just swum in very cold water, and I looked away several times and back at the object to test that it was really there.

Bright blue sky, no cloud cover in sight. Was driving on a tree lined road an above the tree line was a bright, shining globe. It was stationary but looked to be glimmering. My sister also saw it and after about 7 seconds it just disappeared. The view we had was unobstructed as it was very high.

last fall in late oct. i was going to work and noticed a depression in a cattail slough. a week later went out to look at it the cattails were laid down flat in what i believe was a triangle shape. pressed flat all the cattails around it were up. have pictures will send soon see what you think 2 years ago i had seen a ufo triangle shape near the same area. wonder if you saw anything like this before. is this what they term crop circles ? nothing else could explain what happened there. by the way my ufo sighting it was behind a hog barn and very bright lights on when i approached the lights went off and it travled at 58 mph for 3 miles then next time i saw it was 200ft. up and 80 yards away. if the hog barn means anything to you . thanks for reading .

The triangle craft hovered silently just over the tree line. It was just before dark and the sky was clear.

My husband likes to view the moon through the telescope and he was not at home this evening. We were having a full moon so I thought I'd set the telescope up just before it got dark so we didn't have to do it later. I set the scope up facing east and was scanning the sky for the approximate placement of the rising moon when I saw a triangular object hovering just above the tree line. It was still light enough to notice that the leaves on the oak below the craft were not moving (no displacement of air) and the craft was absolutely silent. I do not remember seeing lights. There may have been but I don't recall. The craft was no more than 100 yards in front of me, a dull almost invisible black. I could see a bulge in the center of the craft kind of like a cockpit area. It was angled towards me so I never got to see the bottom. I ran into the house to get a pair of binoculars. It was still there when I came back out. I had the distinct feeling of being watched. I held the binoculars just below my face to get a fix on the location but the instant I put the binoculars to my eyes the craft had disappeared. I can't say whether it flew away very fast or just disappeared, but it was instantaneous. I can't say whether I lost time or not, but I can say that by the time this was over it was fully dark.

"JUST AFTER SUNSET IT GOT COOL AND A FAINT FOG CAME IN..I WENT OUTSIDE JUST BEFORE WHEEL OF FORTUNE AND JEPORDY..AND NOTICED THE FOGGYNESS AND HEARD A LOW-LEVEL CYCLICK HUM LIKE A BIG GENERATOR..SORTA I LOOKED UP PUZZLED AT WHAT I WAS HEARING..I NOTICED THE STARS OVER MY HOUSE WERE "GOING OUT" MY HAIR WAS STANDING UP LITERALY..THEN..

UFO and Biological Entity seen by four children over two days.

In the early seventies my family moved into a run down Civil War mansion in Hancock, Maryland. It was on the C&O Railroad with the C&O canal, tow path and Potomac river within a short walk. It was an amazing place to spend many years as a child. It was surrounded by orchards and the Tow Path from Washington, D.C., to the Paw Paw Tunnel was our personal playground.

There were five children and two grown ups that lived together. Every child had their own room in this 31 room mansion. All the children with rooms on the east side of the house saw a cigar shaped craft one night hover over an old ornamental fountain in the yard and suck water from it. The next morning at the breakfast table they all drew pictures of the craft. It was cigar shaped with orange windows in it.

That morning the headline in the local news paper reported many people seeing strange lights above Lovers Leap which was a historical sight directly across the Potomac from the mansion in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

We all had chores and that night mine was to feed the cats out on the patio. The doors that lead out to the patio were french doors with a broken door nob. If the door latched behind you, you would need to use a near by screw driver to open it. It was a large screened in patio with terracotta tile floors. We were hippies and had stuff all over the place including a mini fridge in one of the corners. I went out to feed the cats and on my way back to the door I felt terror up my back. I turned around to see a small being standing next to the minifridge with a look of fear on her face. She was crouched with her hands clasped in front of her torso. I knew she was a she. And I knew she was as afraid as I was, like she was caught. She was glowing amber, stood no taller than the mini fridge and looked exactly like the grays from Close and Encounters of the Third Kind but was much shorter and glowing amber. I was stunned and full of terror. With container of cat food in one hand I pushed on the latched french door to run inside. Without considering it had latched shut my hand went through the window as the door slammed open. I skidded along the floor and ended up in a small pile of glass and dry cat food. In the chaos I had sliced the palm of my right hand on the broken window and was bleeding pretty bad.

No one believed me. Everyone thought I was copying the other children who saw the craft.

I hope that little biological entity found her way home. The scar on my right palm is my proof of that experience. This experience opened me to a life spent researching and reading about UFO's and ancient mysteries.

Unknown UFO wingless military jet aircraft flying above highway

A friend and I were fishing on the Delaware River near Hancock NY on a clear spring day in 1964 when we decided to go to another local stream. We were driving on Sand Creek Road to get to the stream. I was driving the car and was on a long straight stretch of the road when there appeared a military still jet aircraft travelling about 100 feet above the middle of the road heading right toward us. It appeared to be a jet plane but there were no wings, tail section or windows. It as aluminum in color and had no lights and made no sound. I decided to pull off to the side of the road and just as I pulled off the road and stopped the craft made an instantaneous right turn with no turning radius. It was only about one of a half mile from us at this point. It must have had some intelligence because it turned to avoid us. We could see very plainly that it appeared to be made of aluminum but it had no windows.

It crossed the field to our right and headed toward a mountain and at this point I thought that it was going to crash into the mountain, but there was no explosion it just seemed to disappear into the mountain. It looked to be a solid object but how could it just disappear?

This was not a Tic Tac or some sort of light, it looked like an airplane but with no wings. It did not go very fast but seemed to be going at about 100 miles per hour the whole time. It definitely wanted to avoid us.

This sighting seems to be different than all of the sightings that I have seen in the news lately in that the object looked like an actual modern day 1964 jet aircraft. Potentially this could be very important for military purposes.
