Showed up in picture.

Couldn't sleep and went outside for air. The moon and stars were bright so I wanted to try out the night setting on my phones camera. I took the first shot of the moon and quickly reviewed it. I pivoted to my left for a shot of the stars, then quickly turned back to take one more shot of the moon and then went back inside without reviewing the last two pictures I took. Once back inside, I reviewed the shots and noticed in the last picture of the moon, to the left, is a glowing "boomerang" with a faint greenish aura. I don't know if it is what it looks like, but I thought I'd offer it for consideration.

Last night August 5th, 2019, myself and 3 other witnesses encountered a UFO sighting at exactly 23:35. The event lasted 4 minutes. We were driving through Harriman State Park in Rockland County, NY (approximately 45 minutes north of NYC), the roads are unlit after dark which made the experience even clearer to see. We saw 3 individual crafts, disc shaped with 2 lights on each craft in a triangle formation and the 3 objects were completely stationary in the sky.

I proceeded to pull over immediately after sighting this and confirmed with my 3 passengers that we were all seeing the same thing. Everyone confirmed. The moment I turned my headlights off, the 3 craft, still in formation, increased their altitude suddenly, then proceeded to move to the west at an incredible rate of speed. They went from zero to what seemed like thousands of miles per hour in the blink of an eye. As they moved west they gradually increased altitude until they were no longer visible. The total time we watched this was 4 minutes, so at 23:39 the event was over.

I am a former EMT/Paramedic, the 3 people I was with were 1. Retired NYPD Sergeant, 2. A Trauma/ER Nurse and 3. Former US Marine Force Recon Soldier, all of us I firmly believe are very credible, reliable and completely sane. Nobody was under the influence of any drug or alcohol.

I had an experience in Harriman State Park approximately 20 years ago, but I was by myself so never reported it. In that instance I saw a glowing green light about 5 feet over my car (I could see it through my sunroof) speed past me very low to the ground at an alarming rate of speed, then took off into the sky and disappeared. I'm completely skeptical, but I do know what I saw on both occasions and am really glad I wasn't alone this time. If you'd like further details please contact me. Thank you.

White flashing light moving rapidly and quietly across sky.

Was on back porch trying to get a look at Saturn. Flashing white light came across sky from basically East to West. Did not discern anything other than the light but the light was 5-6 times bigger than the surrounding stars. It was flashing at roughly 1 flash per second. Appeared to be low in sky and was in view for approximately 5-6 seconds. Thought at the time it was a satellite but checked one of the websites and there were no satellites scheduled to fly over.

No idea what it was but it was moving fast and silently. Wife was on the porch with me but looking thru binoculars and did not see object. Was not a lightning bug as I could clearly see the white color, lightning bugs are yellow.

Not saying extra-terrestrial, just something I never saw before.

Fireball streaking across the sky over I-87 NY thruway between exits 16-17 at approximately 6:30 pm on 2/7/14.

Was driving south on I-287 on the NY State thruway between exits 16-17 at approximately 6:30 pm, when my wife and I both spotted a fireball streaking through the sky traveling east - west.

It lasted 1-2 seconds and then disappeared. It was quite large and looked like a comet.

There were many vehicles traveling on both sides of the thruway so we must not be the only people who saw it.

West Point Military academy is nearby so that may help explain.

4 orange lights shaped like trapezoid move through Harriman State Park, 1 or 4 objects.

4 orange lights moved southeast across 7 lakes drive in Harriman State Park NY. They were in the shape of a trapezoid and moved simultaneously either in one large object or four separate.

As soon as the shape crossed the road it instantly disappeared.

Clear night sky with a full moon.

Lights seen over lake on 7 lakes drive in Harriman State Park.

I was driving home at about 11:30pm with my girlfriend, coming from my friend’s apartment in Highland Falls. I decided to cut through 7 lakes drive on the ride home and then get on the Thruway. When we were driving on 7 lakes road (or drive?), my girlfriend was in the passenger seat looking out the window. We passed the silver mine pond on the left and then the road took a small dip. I was going fairly slow, about 25 mph as to avoid deer. About a ½ mile after we passed the silver mine parking lot we saw bright lights to the right as we approached a slight left turn. I slowed down a little to about 5-10 mph so we could get a better look at what we saw. About 50 feet out over a small lake we saw 6-8 red and green lights in a row formation about 10 feet long, just over the surface of the lake. As we got closer the lights moved at a somewhat brisk pace to the right on the water’s surface and turned off sequentially from left to right. We only saw the lights for about 4 seconds before they disappeared completely. There were no boats in the lake that either of us could see. I don’t think there is a launch on that particular lake either. We had the windows closed but there was no noticeable noise. We didn’t stop to turn around but instead drove onwards past other lakes but saw nothing over any of those. I told family members what I saw but no one had an explanation other than maybe a small boat someone was fishing off of. I know I didn’t see a boat though. There was plenty of moonlight so I think either my girlfriend or I would have seen if there was a boat.

While camping on top of a moutain me and 2 friends saw a star start to come at us. As it got closer it shined a white light at the to of the moutain.It made no noise, and moved in any direction it seemed to want to, stop, then move again. Then if just blinked out.

Ive read another report on this site, and it sounds like the exact same thing we saw.This is the first time ive seen this, but my friends have seen it once before.The state park we were in is named harriman st. park, it also is known as bear moutain. Its not far from NYC about an hour drive, north. Its close to some millitary bases, stwert airforce base is about 20 miles north east, camp smith is about 3 miles south west, and west point property borders part of the park. The light left no trail behind it.Very strange.
