Not a craft and not an orb. Diamond shape, stayed in one spot, starburst like with red, white and blue colors.

Live at the base of the Catskill Mountains. Walking dog at night in my back yard. Looked up..West..towards the mountain range. Saw this diamond shape object. It did not move…..but had a starburst-twinkle like pattern. Remained stationary for about 5-8 minutes…..then just disappeared.

Something hovering/ flying fast and erratic with only 2 lights.

Driving home from work I noticed something flying above the road, very low flying towards me. Initially I thought a plane was trying to land on the rural section of highway I was driving on. I was in a panic looking for somewhere to pull to attempt to get out of the way of some sort of possible crash. This object turned and faced me with 2 headlights similar to a car. It was not small. At this point it crossed over the road in front of me. It was hovering very low almost like a large military helicopter. I could see and feel the presence of whatever this large object was but couldn’t hear it. It proceeded to hover overtop of my vehicle and disappear. I never saw it in my rear view or side mirrors. I was very shaken up and proceeded to call my husband. At this point I was about 8-10 minutes from our home. He went outside to our front yard where we have a visual in the direction I was coming from of about 5 miles of mostly crop fields. He proceeded to tell me he could see something flying in the sky very fast and erratic almost just appearing on different sides of the sky. I requested to stay on the phone with him as I was very shaken up and believed whatever was flying low to be something dangerous. I continued to head towards home. When I got to about three minutes away from our house my husband on the phone with me stated the object had turned and faced towards our home. He said it had very bright light that appeared to be headed straight towards him at a very fast speed which then disappeared. He said as it approached it appeared to get faster, larger, and brighter. This was not a drone. This object was larger than a car and hovering very close to the ground. When I got safely home we did not go back outside. I checked the news but nothing has shown and have seen no other reports.

I work as a registered nurse and my husband who was at home is a pharmacist.

MADAR DATA

No code blues were listed but checking with four nearby MADAR sites 20+ miles to the north, in the southern Indiana, the nearest site was directly north of the witnesses at Evansville, Indiana. That node is 153 and measures.21 miles as the crow flies. When we ran data printouts of all four sites the most interesting turned out to be 153. Since there was no code blue the scan rate was at the regular "status" rate of one dataline per minute. The witness reported the sighting began at about 8:45 pm. Allowing for at least a minute error in time pieces the MADAR data documents a small spike two minutes later at 01:47:18 UTC. The reading was 7.88 during that minute after two minutes of 2.62. Not a lot but 7.88 was the highest reading on the page and right after a system RECAL. Even the RECAL is suspicious occurring right at 8:45 pm! And the compass heading change was over the 3 minute MSV (multi-sensor verification), going from 188 degrees to over 191 during that same minute. Also of note, site 119 at Mt. Vernon, Indiana, NW of the sighting location at Cairo had a spike at 01:40:19, 5 minutes before the reported sighting which could indicate the craft entered Indiana/Kentucky airspace then headed SE. This would suggest the craft flew past the driver who was heading south, got in front of her, turned around and put its headlights on her, then headed further south. But no one was able to contact the witnesses so we'll never know the directions in this case..

III. STATUS OF INVESTIGATION

IV. CONCLUSIONS

The basic ingrediant for a good correlation is a good UAP sighting and this invoved two witnesses. Documentation from the primary witness shows that the sighting at Cairo, Kentucky began at around 8:45 pm and lasted about 10 minutes. There are four MADAR sites in the Southern Indiana / Southern Illinois Array across the Ohio River 21 miles to the north but 115 was too far to the NW at Norris City, Illinois tgo use in our analysis. The nearest site had the most compelling readings both on the magnetometer and the onboard compass. All this suggests the activity was probably the result of a UAP.

'Search Light' type strobing in the Catskills

I need to start this by admitting that the three of us who witnessed this had taken LSD about 20 minutes prior to our sighting. Despite this, the drug had not had enough time to take effect, and I am confident we all saw what we saw.

Two friends and I were going to break into this abandoned cabin on top of the mountain and spend the night. We all took a tab of acid at the bottom, and started walking.

After about 10-15 minutes of hiking, I remember noticing flashes of lights in the corner of my eye. We had flashlights to navigate the dark, so I didn't think much at first, assuming I was just seeing our own lights.

The light would shine like a spot light, piercing a small area, and moved light a search light. It was almost like those lights at a movie premiere or something. It was intermittent and inconsistent, happening at different times, with different amounts of beams each time.

We kept walking and I ignored it. I thought maybe I was just seeing things. I didn't feel like I was tripping yet but I blamed it on the acid at first

We walked for about 5-10 minutes more before coming to a quick stop. We each caught our breath, drank some water, and one of my friends starts playing with his ken dama (Japanese ball toy). He lands a couple tricks, all whole this lights are strobing here and there. I ignored it and just watched my friend play, landing some nasty tricks.

But one particular strobe hit us just the right way, and I noticed my friend stop for a second and look up in the direction the light came from. That's when I asked if anybody else had been seeing these lights.

As soon as I said something, we all excitedly started to repeat each other.

We had all been seeing these lights and ignoring them, thinking it was either our own flashlights or just apart of the high, yet none of us felt as if we were tripping yet.

We turned off our flashlights, and the strobes continued. They came from all different places, but all in about the same direction, we didn't have to turn our bodies to watch them all, coming from the west of us if I remember correctly.

We sat and watched for about 5-10 minutes before they're seemed to stop. We all still felt sober. We continued our walk but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

We finally got to the abandoned cabin about 20 minutes later. It was about this time I felt the drug start to kick in.

We spend the night in the cabin without anything strange happening, but none of us still know what we saw.

The next morning we left the cabin. While hiking down, we heard the distant sound of a snow mobile. My one friend (who's idea it was to stay at this cabin) prompted us to hide.

We jumped to the side of the trail and waited as the snowmobile neared. It was a neighbor of my friend.

The cabin, as it turned out, wasn't truly abandoned. It still the property of a friend of the neighbor on the snow mobile. The neighbor checks in on the cabin from time to time while out riding. We hoped he would drive on by this time, as we had left quite a mess from the previous night.

As we get back to my friend's house, we hear the snow mobile coming back down the mountain. My friend prompted us to run.

I had no idea where in the woods I was so I stayed behind my friend like my life depended on it. I had no idea where our other friend went but he sprinted the opposite direction

We ran till we got back towards the road and his behind a trailer quickly. My friend that I had followed just the noticed that out other friend wasn't with us. As soon as he asked where he went, we heard someone scream "HEY YOU THERE".

Instantly my friend got up to continue the run home and I followed without hesitation. We made it back to his house and ran up to his room. I was gonna grab my car keys (which I had left in his room) and go drive around looking for our friend, but he showed up before I made it out the door.

Out of breath, we excitedly recount what had just happened thinking we had gotten away, but the neighbor had was able to track the prints in the snow back to the house.

From the room we watched him turn around and go to his home, unsure what his next move was. We started to plan for the rest of the day when we saw two State Troopers drive down the road to the neighbors house.

Once again, without hesitation, I got out of there. My and the kid that ran the opposite direction left our friends house. I dropped him off at his house, went back to mine, and fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was told that the friend we had left had gotten arrested for Trespassing.

Here's the weird part. When he was taken in and questioned, they asked about the lights. From what he told me they wanted to know if we were the ones shining the light, or if we even saw it. From what he told me, he denied seeing or knowing anything.

Before being brought in he told his mom and dad what we saw, and they told him not to say anything about it. His father had told him that he had seen similar lights in the Mount decades ago.

Over 5 years later, I still have no idea what we saw

We were standing outside looking at the stars Monday evening and a bright light caught my attention and then quickly disappeared. About 10 seconds later in the same position another light emerged. It was similar to an indoor light with a dimming feature.

The light would go from non-existent to bright and then non-existent again in the course of a second to a second and a half. This occurred approximately 15 to 20 times over the course of about 10 minutes

Falling star that evolved and grew in size and color, to end in a brilliant green ball of trailing light that disappeared from sight

Meteor? April 16, 2016. 10:15 PM North on IL 57 mile marker 5-6 from Cairo, IL. I had just left a rest stop from doing my ‘TM’ (Transcendental Meditation), so I was fresh and alert.

I was driving northbound on Illinois route 57N, windshields are clear/no tint There was no oncoming traffic at the time, and only a few northbound vehicles.

I noticed from the center of the windshield coming down from the top of the windshield, a bright white streak of light which went horizontal with the horizon in front of me, from center of the windshield, moved fully across to the left lower side of the driver’s side window to the treeline.

It went from a small white steak to a long multi-colored ‘tailed’ streak and ending with bright green ball of light that disappeared, either from the treeline or from just burning out. It lasted 2 to 3 seconds, as it crossed the sky from what I saw… fantastic! I had not ever seen such a fall.

Thoughts that crossed my mind in 2-3 seconds: Falling star, missile (are we being attacked?) Rocket Bomb Fire Color to Green – bright!! Large – half the size of an over-head full moon

bright light on the western ridge

Around 9 pm i was out on my porch, i was looking towards the west. i noticed a bright star like object just above the horizon. At first i thought it was a planet, as i looked more at the object it was moving to the west following the ridge line. after a minute or two the object rolled over the ridge. i climbed up on my roof to get a better view. as i did i could still see the light from the object. i climbed down from the roof and looked back to the ridge when i saw the object come back to the east towards me. as i watched for about a minute i went to climb back on the roof and the object rolled very fast back over the ridge and was out of sight.

I am no expert at astronomy but i have been looking at the stars my whole life and i have never seen a star go behind the horizon and then come back into view. so i am quite sure what i saw was not any planet.

Triangle following plane went vertical was gone in a second

I was out on my porch after work, I was looking off to the north west when I heard a plane fly by. As i watched the plane I noticed a glint of light coming from behind the plane. At first I thought it might be another plane. I looked directly at the object and noticed it was a triangle shape, moving extremely fast. In a matter of 2 or 3 seconds it went from being about 1.5 miles behind the plane to 2 miles in front of the plane. I could hear the sound of the planes engines as it went by my location. I heard nothing as the craft accelerated to pass the plane. As I reached for my phone to take a picture this craft went vertical and accelerated to over 1000 miles per hour. Both plane and craft were at about 10,000 feet when seen. As the craft went vertical it was out of my sight in a second.

A single light in the sky would fade out completely and reappear in 5 to 10 seconds. Sometimes the light would appear at another location near where it was origninaly seen. The light has been around the area for 3 weeks but never stayed around as long as when it was captured on film on New Year's Eve, last night.

Bright, triangle object in clear November sky over secluded ridge

It was an extremely clear morning, and I was watching for the Taurids as I waited for my dog to finish his business. I noticed what appeared to be a satellite, moving west to east. It was the brightest I'd ever seen, however--brighter than Mars or Sirius.

I watched it cross the sky for a couple of minutes, surprised at its brightness and speed... but when it was close to being overhead (it was slightly to the North, rather than directly overhead), I realized that it was actually a cluster of three lights, one on top and two below. Nothing was flashing or blinking, which is why I thought it was a satellite at first; the lights were steady and extremely bright.

At this angle, they were distinct. The lower lights were smaller in diameter, but just as bright. The object seemed too bright to be a satellite.

After another minute or so it disappeared over the eastern horizon.

UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT

I WAS HEADING A FRIENDS HOUSE TO WORK ON ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES. THIS WAS ABOUT 11PM. I NOTICED A BRIGHT LIGHT TO MY LEFT ABOUT 300' - 400'INTO THE AIR (CIRCLE SHAPED) THAT WAS MOVING FAIRLY FAST. I ACCELERATED MY CAR TO ABOUT 80 MPH TO TRY TO KEEP UP WITH IT. I WAS PARELLE WITH THE OBJECT FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES AT ABOUT 80MPH. I ALSO NOTICED THERE WAS 3 RED AND BLUE LIGHTS.IT HAD NO SOUND. IT HAD AN INTENSE BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT UNDER THE CRAFT, AND ABOUT THAT TIME IT WAS JUST ABOVE ME TO THE LEFT AND I GOT FRIEGHTEND AND JAMMED ON THE BREAKS AND PULLED OFF THE ROAD INTO A DRIVEWAY AND AS SOON AS THE CAR STOPPED THEN THE OBJECT STOPPED IN MID-AIR AND BACK IN THE OTHER DIRECTION TOWARDS CAIRO, NY WHERE IT CAME FROM. I TURNED AROUND FAST TO GET A LAST LOOK BUT THE OBJECT BASICALLY WAS GONE. GOT TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE AND TOLD 2 OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS INCIDENT, AND ONE OF THEM HAD EARLIER SEEN THE STRANGE LIGHTS TOO.

Rotating in circles and then disappeared after about 15 seconds.

My husband and I went outside to video the lunar eclipse I was looking through my video camera trying to find the moon, and my husband spotted a bright white light in the south direction of the sky. I proceeded to film the object while my husband was watching it, he later told me that the object (while hovering in one spot) had small individual lights rotating around it. I couldn't see them while filming, because it was a great distance away. The object appeared to bounce across the sky from right to left. The object decreased in size as it slowly faded from view. As soon as it was gone we saw a silver streak zip across the sky to the west. I have an excellent video of the incounter, when put into slow motion the object appeared to have alot of different colors flashing on and off and up in the left hand corner another object appeared that looked to be a beam of light shooting from the first object.

well its has blue,red,green,yellow lights. its just sits there for hours at a time.

well the first night we saw it,it was just above the trees.we watched for a hour.then it left,it took off real fast.my brother's dauther seen it friday night we work together.i told her what we saw.she didn't look at it very long.so the next night i called them they live on a hill they can see it better then i can. it all so shot a beam of light down at my brother in law, saturday night.he didn't beleve me at first now he does. well sunday there was about 4 of them.

Silent Triangle viewed for half an hour.

During the twilight hour in the middle of winter 1975, my mother came in to the trailer home we lived in and asked me to come outside and "look at something". I went with her to the end of our driveway and she pointed east. At the end of the dead end street we lived on there was a line of bare trees that bordered the entire trailer park where we lived. Above these trees I saw a huge triangular black shape that seemed to be floating very still and silent. On each corner of this shape small white lights glowed dimly. As we looked at this shape , my mother kept trying to question what it was, saying things like 'thats not a plane, is it?'.. 'is that a blimp?'.. ' what is that?'.

My mother knew a lady in the park that had many cameras and we went to ask her to come out to photograph this thing.The woman became angry and refused to come and see the shape and told us to go away. We returned to our house and the shape had slowly drifted south from where we first spotted it. The air temperature was very cold and there were no other people around to alert them to this shape. The shape continued to move south and we watched it until it was no longer visible. I guess the most unsettling things about this sighting were that it was so silent and so slow in moving. Given that we lived in a mountainous and remote area it was shocking to see this perfect triangle floating above the woods.
