A light moving southwest to the east then changing to a southeast heading

The light seemed to be flying through a cloud, had a haze around it and seemed to be a directional light changing where it was pointing a couple of times. I am an air traffic controller and the light was verified by a pilot but not seen by our radar services. When the light got south of the airfield it had a seemingly burst of gas the shot out in front of it like a cone shape and then the light slowly faded until it was spotted again about 30 seconds later further to the southeast looking more like a bright star while moving and faded out very rapidly after about 10 seconds and then faded again until it was no longer visible or observed.

All I can say is I was taking photos of the sunrise from a condo penthouse standing on the balcony. Took three photos and with my phone and looked at them and say a round object in one photo. Wiped my phone camera lens thinking I had a spot on it and took another photo. The orb was still there but had move a short distance to the south. The time between the third photo and the fourth was two minutes. Then it was gone.

Oval white shape following a passenger plane heading east

Was leaving for work and happened to look up noticed a passenger jet flying approximately 40,000 ft above me and then noticed that there was a small white oval craft that seem to be following the passenger jet or stalking it. Second craft was probably below the passenger airline by another 10 to 15,000 ft. As you can see in the video, it seems to be mimicking the flight pattern but there is no com trail for the oval shape craft. I don't know if I was seeing a reflection of something else, but I thought you would want to take a look.

Luminous orbs in night sky over beach area

I observed several luminous orbs in nighttime sky. Several orbs blinked in and out of view, at different positions. Orangish red spots forming a "0" (which were not seen on video) also observed. They appeared to be swarming and circling, moving in formation. Several other videos with different times and dates and with same characteristics are also in my possession. Some showing lightning. Some videos sound extremely windy, as winds were strong.

At 6:20 am on Wednesday February 17, I saw a string of lights moving through the sky above the clouds. The object contained about 50 discrete lights that move gracefully along almost right above me. At any given time, I could only see about 10 lights spaced equally part. The object or objects appeared to be part of a single string because they did not appear to move independently from each other. After about a minute I could not see the lights anymore either because they were obscured by clouds or because they moved beyond my range of vision. They did not simply turn off all of a sudden. Rather, they seemed to flow away from my vision to a point where I could no longer see them.

3 Bright Hovering Spheres in night sky

As we were driving into our apartment building near midnight on 1/31/2021 I looked up to see the stars. I immediately noticed a very bright light and asked my son if he could see it. I was driving and pulled over so we could both look. I observed at least 2 and possibly 3 of these lights. The objects seen by using the zoom of my camera were not recognizable as an aircraft or helicopter. The objects were not moving in any direction but occasionally would seem to move very quickly laterally and then return to the prior position. Sometimes it seemed like the object would get dim and then get bright again. We sat and watched them and decided to park in our stall and get out of the car. I got my camera and started to video one of the lights. It was spinning and changing colors and it appeared some type of discharge was coming from the object. I was able to video 2 of the objects. I then called my daughter who lives 30 miles away and she went outside and also can! see them. Also her husband and 3 children watched the objects as they hovered.

I am a 60 year old retired church going woman raising my 16 year old son. I have my Bachelors degree in computer science and worked at Microsoft for 8 years. My daughter who also saw this is a former 911 operator for the local sheriffs office, and currently getting her Master's degree in criminal justice.

Our specific account do differ slightly as I believe they went away simultaneously, while my wife believes they went out individually. Either way the linear lights were there. And we know there has to be more people, we too can't imagine others, it was simply too obvious and too early in evening for several beachfront folks not to see!

Date: Wednesday, August 12th Approximate Time: 10:30PM Location: 1907 South Waccamaw, Garden City, South Carolina Viewed: East North East; 45° off the horizon Color: Bright Orange Shape: circular Sound: None Distance: difficult to tell, but seemed far off out over the Atlantic Ocean.

Size: they seemed pretty darn big Movement: seemed to be stationary, Starting with one orange orb, then adding 3 more (same size-one at a time). It took 8 to 10 seconds between each additional orb, but again, they were all from right to left and equidistant, in a straight line. Then, similarly another 4 more orbs came in succession (same size-one at a time), but the second group came in line much quicker (2-3 seconds apart), again right to left, adding to the first four orange orbs-totaling 8 in a straight line.

Duration: Once they were all in line, they all quickly disappeared at once.

Note: we could not tell if it was one object or 8 separate.

Summation: They were clearly not Aircraft’s as we know it.

It was Clearly not a meteor.

It was clearly not a lightning storm.

It was clearly not fireworks.

It was clearly not a light show.

Thoughts: The three of us that witnessed the sighting cannot imagine that no one else in any of the houses facing the ocean or people walking on the beach or people on the the pier did not see the object(s) too; that on the contrary, with the amount of sky these bright orange orbs took lined up, someone had to see them.

Large Orb that split into three orbs seen off South Carolina coast by five witnesses- June 18th, 2020

The five of us were walking on the beach that night when one of my friends just exclaimed “What’s that?” And we all look to face the ocean and a few miles off the coast directly in front of us we all see a large orangish-golden orb. It stays motionless for a moment and then splits horizontally into three smaller orange orbs/balls of light. They stayed motionless once they broke from the original until they just disappeared like someone had turned off a flashlight. The way the object split into three was simply unnatural, and the way the lights moved. About 20 minutes later we saw the same three objects, but oriented differently, in a tripod like shape and faintly, miles away in another direction away from us, before disappeared a second later.

To the north there was multiple bright flashes on and above the clouds. It was not lightning. We witnessed 2 Jets chasing at least 2 ufo crafts towards the north. The crafts were moving in a zig zag shape, faster and faster leaving the jets behind. The jets had red and white lights flashing. The crafts had green, red and white flashing lights in a cluster together moving in sync.

Also to the northwest right above the moon there was a cluster of lights shaped in a big skinny triangle. It had lights that would slowly dim then light up again.

After all this happen we looked away for a brief moment and when we looked back the entire sky was covered in fog.

I have video but it is not great quality.

Took a video of a strange craft sitting still over the ocean, and then started to move towards us and went over our condo.

My husband and 14 year old son ran to the front and the disk shaped craft was flying low and making a pulsating sound. It was round like a disk and flat on the bottom with blinking lights on both sides. It was flying really slow.

There was also a beam of light shining down on the ocean when it was sitting still.

Five bright orange orbs appear quietly over water not far from shore.

Orange spheres quietly appeared over water, then disappeared. We did not see movement of the objects. They appeared and then faded away within a few seconds of each other. They appeared to be in a straight line but the first and last were set further from the three in the middle. They made no noise.

We witnessed similar orbs like this while visiting Gulf Shores three years ago.

Strange light over the Atlantic.

I watch the skies a lot. Never see anything other than military fighters or transports here with the daily rotor craft.

Tonight while taking the dogs out for the fee final time at around 253 AM, I looked east towards the adjacent skyline to notice an amber or pink/orange light in the sky. At first, I thought it was an oddly shaped planet.

To my utter surprise and disbelief my eyes did not decided he and the light began to move. Then another light became evident. The two then converged and grew brighter. They appeared to be about thirty miles east over the Atlantic ocean. I would guess their altitude to be in the 10-15k ft area. Really interesting.

Also of note is that the light appeared to line in the distant sky for a short time after it appeared the source had vanished.

Also of note is that after the point of conference the light send to emit in a more cross like display.

Just a few very bright lights just sitting in the sky it was so bright and it was wide I can't think of any airplane that just sits like that it didn't move at all at first I thought it was maybe just a really bright street light but it was too high up we kept looking at it and then it went to my left and the color changed and was several colors and then it was gone.

Sighting of a 'V' shaped craft approximately 200 feet across, traveling very fast at about 2,000, with no lights and no sound.

September 24, 2016. Garden City Beach, SC, 8:47pm

My wife and 30 year old son and I were on a Murrells Inlet dock watching for satellites, two blocks from the ocean. We had seen eight or nine over about a 30 minute period. We looked almost straight up to see a ‘V’ shaped aircraft zoom over heading south. We estimate the craft to be several hundred feet across, and flying at approximately 2,000 feet. It had no lights, and made absolutely no sound. It was dark gray, but visible against a star lit sky, and possibly reflecting some of the ground lights. My first thought was a ‘B-2 Bomber’ but there was no structure inside of the ‘V’, and no lights, and no sound. I have seen numerous lights, and strange phenomenon in past trips to Garden City, and never assigned any labels to them. But this was an intelligently controlled ‘craft’.

My 2 sons and thier cousin saw a disk shaped object hoovering in the sky. Granted, they are 8yrs, 7yrs, and 6yrs old. I was about 50 feet from them tending to my 18m old. Each of them explained the craft exactly the same. They descriped it as having blinking yellow lights surrounding it with something that looked like windows on it. They said it was wobbling side to side as if it was looking for something. They then said it came to a sudden stop and hoovered for a moment then took off suddenly straight up into the sky. All three were amazed and excited to see this "ufo," and talked about it for hours after the sighting.

Orange/Reddish glowing sphere over Atlantic in Garden City, SC

Sitting in my car waiting to go in and pick up an ordered to go meal. I'm on Business 17 next to Greg's Cabana facing East looking across 17 towards the ocean.

I look up into the night sky as I always do and I see an orange glowing sphere rising up in the sky. Judging from the distance I'm sure that it was out over the ocean. The color is orange/red just like glowing fire, but no flame or flames. Round spherical shape and as it began to rise higher, the color was changing to a more red and almost purple like shade and then back to the orange glowing fire color. The size began to get smaller in diameter and while this was happening the color changed to white and it simply vanished into thin air.

This is the first time that I have made a report on this or any site, but not the first time I've witnessed these unidentifiable flying objects. I can honestly state that you're more likely to observe UFOs in this area than not. It's that common here out over the ocean. Over the last 6 years this makes about a dozen sightings for me. Tonight, I was alone, but every other time there have been other witnesses and we all see the same things, colors, movements, etc.

I personally, am of the opinion that somebody knows exactly what these things flying around are and where they come from and go to. Otherwise some form of authority would be busy trying to investigate and determine why they're in our airspace and on a regular basis.

I talk about my sightings and so many people in this area have had similar experiences.

i was in my driveway, facing south when i saw 3 bright orange lights coming from my right, one ahead of the other 2. They all came to a stop and hovered in front of me, distance was hard to estimate, at first I thought they might be helicopters from the way they moved, but could hear no engine noise. 2 moved upand started moving away at a high rate of speed and disappeared very quickly. The last stayed for a few seconds longer, then slowly moved upward until it also disappeared. Soon after, 3 more came from the same direction as the first 3, one out in front, other 2 following. All 3 stoped and hovered for a few seconds, then 2 left just like the previous did. One remained and seemed to move slowly toward me, then stoped. It was closer than any had come, then it moved slowly upward and disappeared. All were very bright orange and circular, maybe pear shaped and blinking.

2 orange circular objects near Detroit, Michigan.

Today, 9-19-2015, at about 22:30, driving home, I witnessed two orange circular objects flying in formation from west to east while driving west just southwest of my location.

I pulled my vehicle over and began to record video with my cell phone. The two objects continued to travel east toward Detroit.

When I got out of my car before starting to record again the trailing object spead off at unthinkable speed then the second object disappeared 5 seconds later.

Neither light blinked allowing me to believe it was not an airplane.

Both lights where to far apart to be lights on wings but to close and level to be two separate airplanes and traveling to fast to be helicopters.

Bright orange glow in the sky of the east coast

On June 3, 2015, I was on vacation with my family in Garden City, South Carolina (just south of Myrtle Beach).

It was a full moon and absolutely beautiful outside, and at approximately 11:45 PM EDT, I went down to the beach to sit around for a while.

I got to the beach and was standing in ankle deep water trying to take a picture of the moon over the water, when I noticed something more directly overhead and to the right, which was south of my exact location. Upon further investigation I saw a bright orange glow in the sky, and immediately thought “plane”.

I looked at it for another second or two and realized it wasn’t a plane at all-it was too bright, too consistent in color, and at the distance that I could perceive it was, moving far too fast to be a plane. To serve as a point of reference, I immediately thought of planes that fly in on a regular basis. Just earlier in the evening, I was sitting on the balcony with my grandparents, watching two planes circle over the ocean, before going back inland to land at Myrtle Beach airport. They moved much slower than whatever the glowing orange thing in the sky was.

I’m a Coast to Coast AM insider and overall nerd, so I immediately stopped trying to take a picture of the moon and started trying to get a picture/video of the bright orange glow in the sky. Despite my best efforts, I couldn’t get my camera to focus on it and get a good look with my phone. I don’t know if that was user error or something else.

Also as a point of comparison, when you see a plane, and particularly soon after takeoff, it appears to go upwards, but also horizontally-it looks like its climbing at a steady rate. While the bright orange glow was moving quickly, and upwards, after a couple seconds, it went straight up. Its horizontal motion was short lived and once it started going straight up, it was completely out of sight within seconds.

I took a second to gather myself and called a friend who is a fellow nerd and MUFON member. My iPhone call record states I placed that call at 11:52 PM EDT, and I deduce the approximate time that I saw the bright orange glow was 11:50.

I only got to see it for 20-30 seconds, but there’s no doubt in my mind that whatever it was isn’t from around here.

More about me; I’m a church music director in a denomination of Christianity you’ve heard of before. I have a undergraduate degree in church music, and I’m currently back in school working on an accounting-add on to my degree, with intentions of becoming a CPA. As far as anyone can tell, I have a clean bill of mental health.

I count myself lucky and blessed to have gotten to see something of such coolness on such a beautiful night. The only thing I hate about it is no one else got to see it with me; my girlfriend turned in early, and I’m kind of mad at her about it.

about 830am saw a igrey cone shape ufo it went so fast it was gone by the time i got up and walked 5 feet to lookout the window

While I was lying on the couch, just getting ready to get up, I saw a grey cone shaped UFO out of the large living room window. I had said out loud whaaat what was that as I was looking out the window at it. My husband was sitting on the stool next to me and I said get up get up and look out the window. He quickly got up and I told him to look to the right (which is to the west that was the direction it was going) unfortunately it was gone. It had no sound and no lights. I have a broken back so he can move much faster then me. I couldn't believe it was gone. I couldn't believe I actually saw a UFO. I have been stuck on the couch for one and a half years due to multiple broken back bones and I had just mentioned to my husband jokingly that I should be seeing a UFO any time now.I didn't realize how many sightings there are until now. WOW!! My husband said that he new something was up by the tone of my voice and the look on my face. I always knew they were out there. A birdlike object or missile became an orb, joined other orbs, before ascending and disappearing.

On Friday April 17, 2015-today in fact, at first I saw an object that looked like a bird flying up in the air not too far from a jet, which I assume was on a flight path for a landing at either JFK or LaGuardia airport nearby.

It was 5:55 pm, sunny, and most people in suburbia here on Long Island were on their way home from work.

What caught my attention first was the fact that the object was up so high.

And the next fact was that although it appeared bird like, it was traveling at a high rate of speed. It looked white at first then silver.

In fact, it was going faster than the jet! It had descended and as I watched (with my prescription sunglasses on), from my car in a parking field, the object went from a northeasterly direction on my right towards the west on my left.

I grabbed for my phone to take a photo but decided to keep watching instead-the object became an orb joining another orb that spun around it. The two continued on then met up with another 3 or 4 orbs encircling them before ascending and disappearing! This was near Roosevelt Field, Long Island, NY. A Marines base is nearby.

Is this military? Does the FAA know about this, I'm a former newspaper reporter and editor.

1-24-15: The first sighting I had was on Dec 31, between 22:00 and 23:00 I came out of my shop that sits on a hill above Bear Lake, turned out the lights and locked the door and turned around towards the lake and seen something hovering over the water and it seems like it was maybe a couple hundred yards away, I knew it was out of place , it was below the east shore mountain line, I didn’t think to take a picture I hurried to my truck and got in started it, all the while watching the whitish amber colored object, then it changed shape and headed off to the east really fast.

The second time I seen the object was on 1-5-15 at 18:00.

I was just coming up the hill to the shop and just passed the gate I noticed the same object at what looked like the same spot I had previously seen it so I stopped the truck and grabbed my phone hoping to get a picture before it took off again, I took 4 or 5 photos then a short video, when I stepped out of the truck it took off again towards the east, faster than anything I know of here on earth.

The third time was on 1-19-15 around 19:00 hours.

I let my dogs out and lit up a smoke and looked towards the east off my deck towards the lake and there it was at first it was just hovering sitting still then it dropped and moved forward and returned to its original position, it did this a couple times and I went back in the house for my phone and a camera and my spotting scope, got in the ruck and headed a block to the edge of the hill where I could get a better view, by this time it had moved north east quite ways and had gained altitude, I took some more photos and some with my spotting scope it quickly moved off to the north end of the lake and out of sight. Cont- I have several pictures that make no sense to me, I sent you some pics in an email on 1-23-15, I tried to send a video but postmaster at hot mail undeliverable, I will try and send it again in a zip file or some other means.

Sitting on a patio visiting with family at night, we saw several (6-8?) weird, glowing orange spheres slowly move across the sky in succession. Three erratic large orange lights off the coast of Garden City , SC

My wife, kids, and I were walking on the beach and noticed 3 large orange lights appear off the coast of Garden City, SC in the air. The lights were not in motion at the time.

All of the sudden they turned off one by one. Right after this they came back on at the same time and were in motion at a very rapid pace.

They came to a stop again and remained in place for over a minute. Eventually faded away in a way I've never seen an aircraft do.

There wasn't anything normal about it, it's something none of us have ever seen.

I'm not sure what it was but I also heard other people talking about it as we walked along the beach that also found it bizarre.

The next day I looked at google earth to see if there was any land in the direction and there was clearly not.
It's my guess that the object were around 2 miles away and 500 yards above the sea.

The event lasted around 3 min. It was pretty cool to see.

My family had been seeing odd lights in the sky over the ocean all week. I had to see for myself and walked out on the Garden City pier around 10:00 PM. Apparently the lights had been seen earlier according to other family members. I watched for about an hour as multiple lights would flash on, then off. Sometimes singly, other times three in a row followed by three in a row. They did not appear to move and seemed to last about 5-10 seconds before going out. What was interesting was that the intensity was the same no matter where the lights appeared. Maybe flares? But very symmetrical in nature and occurrence. Odd for sure, I've never seen anything like it.

4 red lights all next to eachother rotating around it seemed then orange looking flare lights going upwards.

I believe it was around 11pm close to that. My sister and her husband and my mom were sitting on the back deck and she called me to look up at the sky over the ocean. I said is that a UFO and that is what we all believed, then other people who were vacationing with us saw it to. People next door and few doors down were all watching it.

The first one seemed to be towards the right in the sky over the ocean. It looked to be rotating around I saw 4 red round shape lights all exactly next to each other seemed to be going around and it just faded out.

Then for the next few minutes we saw what looked like orange balls start as one then go upwards two three four. It couldn't of been flares because it was moving from the right side of Garden City to Surf Side and towards Myrtle Beach way to fast. They would start to light up going upwards then just fade out sometimes in the middle and towards the left at the same time.

Someone called the police dept to see if maybe was a distress flare they told her it was military drill or something of that sort. It def looked like a UFO the first one we all saw the others in orangish color looked like some time of round flares but would start lighting up one then two then three going up then just disappear, was pretty freaky.

My family is vacationing at Garden City.

Last night I walked onto balcony of condo and saw three large orange lights come on, one two three in a row. We had seen this phenomena three years ago here.

I called to my family to come see the lights. Within a few minutes successive large red/orange fireballs would illuminate and extinguish.

Then we noticed small blinking lights, numerous, up to ten at a time moving all over the sky in the area of the big orange lights. All of this activity seemed to be from Garden City pier to Myrtle Beach State Park and mostly over ocean. Any number of arrangement of lights were seen up to a large perfectly shaped chevron shape formed by eight of the big fireballs.

The fireballs appeared as groups of three and four tightly spaced as well. At some intervals between fireball appearances there were as much as 5 to 10 solid minutes of small sparkling lights moving for miles up and down the coast.

I am employed in aviation and I am! reasonably convinced that no aircraft were seen. The appearance as well as the silence had more of a ghostly feel than of nuts and bolts aircraft.

Many people were on beach so im sure others witnessed.

Orange light larger and closer than a star appeared then disappeared 3 times over the ocean. Object did not move. 5 of us saw it.

One orange light appeared for about 3 seconds approximately 20-30 degrees off the horizon and north a bit from our location on the deck of our beach rental near Marlin Quay Marina.

The light appeared 3 times within 10 minutes while 5 of us looked on. We also saw very small aircraft like white strobe lights moving in the vicinity of the object. Very well could have been planes but the orange light itself - very unexplainable by 5 intelligent non believers.

Bright orange lights in the night sky.

We were sitting on the patio at about 9:30pm when my mother in law noticed a orange light brighter than any star in the sky offshore. It went out like someone flipped a switch, reappeared flashing 2 x 3 times. Later we saw a larger orange ball light up following 4 additional smaller balls lit up one by one in a horizontal pattern almost like a string of beeds, they all went out at the same time only to reappear in the same way about 10 seconds later.

1 minute after that we first saw one ball light up again, then another and another until there was a row of 7 or 8 all together also in a horizontal pattern, after about 7 seconds they all disappeared, I tried to film it but my iPhone doesn't do very well filming in the dark so you can barely only see two of the lights in the video I shot. we sat out there and waited to see if they would reappear, after about 30 minutes we gave up.

It was the most insane thing I have ever seen, our neighbors also said they had seen the same thing last year, I described what I saw to them and they replied quote: "Yup, that's exactly what we saw, now that you guys have seen it too we know we're not crazy."

1 Ball of fire entering field of view at the horizon heading NE. Limited perspective limited estimation of speed. Best guess would be 150-200 knots. Heading NE parallel to coast. Description is flickering ball of fire, no trail, no sound. No altitude deviation after it leveled off. I think I saw an arced trajectory initially coming from either the beach area, or within a mile of the coast off Garden city, SC.

The observation lasted about one minute and I believe died from lack of illumination rather than from distance.

MYR tower was called, but they observed nothing. Flightaware.com was consulted, but there were no IFR flights in that vicinity reported.

I believe the light source died before it reached as far NE as Myrtle Beach.

reddish/orange straight line of lights over the ocean

While on vacation in Garden City Beach South Carolina on September 13th 2012 at approximately 8 pm I saw pretty high up in the sky beyond the Garden city pier,some strange lights that I could not identify.

First 1 reddish/orange light lit up, then a 2nd, a 3rd, 4th, 5th and then finally a 6th light all in a straight line. Then immediately after they were all 6 lit up, they started to extinguish one at time starting with the last one to appear down to the first one I saw, until they were gone. This all happened within about 20-25 seconds. Not sure what they were but as I wish I knew.

Looking out over the ocean at dusk. All of the sudden a bright orange light appeared in the sky, and a few seconds later another bright light appeared just to its left. The two then vanished. A few minutes later, far to the south, two more lights appeared for approximately 10 seconds then disappeared. Five minutes later 3 lights appeared spread equidistant far accross the sky. The were visible for approx. 5 seconds, then disappeared. No sound, no trails, no movement...only sequences of large, bright orange lights appearing and disappearing. For a few minutes after some thought they saw smaller objects moving and communicating much higher up in the atmosphere, although this was tough to decipher.

Sphere consisting of approximately 35 bright white lights.

I was invited over to a friend’s house for supper. About 10:15 PM I mentioned that the moon is right now very close to the earth in its orbit and do you want to go outside and look at it? First we went out to the back yard, but the trees did not allow much open area to see the sky. We then went to the front of the house.

Facing North and just a little bit to my left was a bright white light. I mentioned that it was probably a small private airplane. It looked about 3 to 5 thousand feet up. We did not really dwell on the light. Then we realized that it had not moved. First thought was that it might be a satellite.

I asked if they had a pair of binoculars. He came back with a 7 X 30 pair. You could see that it was a cluster of lights and not one bright singular light. I told them that I was going home and us my 10 X 40 pair of binoculars to see if it was any clearer.

My binoculars did make the sighting clearer. It was a cluster of about 35 bright white lights in the shape of a sphere. Each light was connected to another with a rod or shaft. These white rods were also just as bright as the lights. It is now about 10:35 PM and the object has not moved.

A neighbor was walking his dog and asked what I was doing. I said that I was looking at a UFO. He said, “yeah, right”. I said take a look. He was totally dumbfounded.

I am a retired aeronautical engineer and the neighbor is a mechanical engineer. I went into the house about 10 minutes later and the object was still in the same place.

This sighting accrued on the evening of May 12, 2012.

Bright blue light in clouds over Long Island for less then a minute.

It has been VERY cloudy here on Long Island the past two days and today when I walked out of class I witnessed a HUGE bright blue light in the clouds appear and then vanish in a matter of less then a minute. It happened at night and I have no explanation of what it could've been. I know for a fact that it was not coming from the ground because it did not have any particular shape.

Large bright orange/red "fireball" that faded and exposed a black flat object

My husband and I were enjoying a gorgeous evening on our front porch. It was approx. 7:30pm and just approaching dusk. I had gotten up to go into the house (walking towards the back door up the driveway) when my husband said “What is that? Come look at this” I turn back around, looked south (our home faces south) and saw a very large and bright orange/red glowing object. It looked to be heading in a strong North/West direction on a steady path. I have lived on this same block for 40 years and I am in the path of arriving and departing planes from Metro airport. I can tell you that there have been only a couple of times when I’ve seen a plane that low flying in an East or West direction. We continued to stand in awe and must have asked each other five times “what is that?” I want to say it looked like something large was on fire. Its diameter was approx. two to three times the size of our brightest stars. It was not an airplane I know that for sure. The s! ky was clear and beautiful and there was no wind.

I ran inside to get my binoculars and when I came back out it was still in sight. There are a lot of trees so my field of view was becoming limited. I have a powerful pair of binoculars and it is often hard to find objects right away because of this (plus I was nervous). I had to keep taking them down to estimate the position because it was still traveling on its path. At one of these times, my husband gasped and said “It stopped glowing; now it’s black.” I had only maybe 30 seconds left of viewing and I still couldn’t bring it into view with the binoculars so I just stood there staring at the black object until it left our view. After the fire faded, the object appeared to be a lot higher than I had originally thought. It was so far up there that I could not discern the size or shape of it. It did seem like I was seeing a flat object though.

It was still dusk so it was light enough to know what it was not. It was not a lantern, hot air balloon, or airplane. Aircraft lights are not huge, orange, or glowing. Even at this time of day aircraft lights are not even visible yet. Wind does not usually carry things westerly as far as I know. I am more than curious as to what this was.

Bright orange disk shaped objects over Garden City, SC.

I was sitting on my front porch about 10:15 pm when through the trees coming straight at me was this bright orange light. I stood up and when it cleared the trees I could see it was a round glowing object. It was traveling at a high rate of speed and made no sound. When it was directly above me it flickered and went almost dark but what blew me away was I could see a solid shape against the night sky moving away from me at a high rate of speed and I lost sight of it.

I went to sit down and I looked up and in the same exact spot 2 more lights, the same color, same shape, traveling at the same speed came over and flickered and went almost dark and I could see the disk shaped objects again against the night sky moving away guickly and again with out a bit of noise. The sky was clear and bright with stars, with no moon at that time. I know what satalites look like and these where not satalites! I have never in my life seen anything like this before and am baffled.

Quick Flashing Object Ascends Over Fair Grounds And Pulses Motionless In Sky

Went outside to the back of my work building to have a smoke and was looking north towards the fair grounds. I was looking at one of the amusement park rides and noticed ascending right above it was a silver flashing metallic object that appeared at first glance to be a (chrome) mylar balloon rising up.

The object then began to rise at a much faster rate and the flashing of silver light became brighter not dimmer with altitude gain. The object rose straight up at least 500 feet from where I first saw it and was not affected by any winds aloft that would usually sway a balloon horizontally.

The object than became fixed in the sky in a perfect stop/non swaying motion and continued to pulse with flashes of silver going dim to very bright.

Some employees from a neighboring business had just come out the back of their building and I pointed the object out to them, the three of us watched for a few more minutes as the object continued to stay fixed in the ! sky as it pulsed.

Then the pulse stopped and the object was completely gone.

This report is in response to one seen on 6/1 or 6/2 from a LIRR train on the Queens/Nassau border.

I saw something in the western sky at about 9:30 AM on 6/2/2010. It was long (like a fuselage) but without wings. It seemed metallic and I estimated that it was hovering at about 10,000 feet. I called to my friends who were nearby and they were dumbfounded. They were as perplexed as I was.

Did anyone else report anythig suspicious on that date and time?

Egg Shaped Objects Over Garden City Kansas

I was outside waxing my vehicle ,something caught my eye as I was finishing up the top.It was an egg shaped object in the sky moving rather slowly to the north.My guess is that it was about 1000 ft to 1500 ft. up. It hovered for approximately 4 minutes. I ran inside and got my two daughters ages 8 and 6 to see if they could see what I was seeing. As we were watching this object it looped around and started to head south. To our astonishment, as the egg shaped object was traveling south another object appeared it seemed to come from above and was somewhat higher in the sky.The first object continued to move south at a slow place , yet the second object was at a stand still. We continued to watch the first object move south ,when we looked back were the second object first appeared it was gone.The whole incident lasted for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Neighbors probobly thought we were loosing it,looking up in the sky and shouting and pionting.

i seen something that flew across the night sky very fast.

i was driving down the highway around midnight on 7/05/07. i seen a grayish object fly across the sky heading from north to south. it went across the entire sky in a matter of seconds. the sky was clear and the stars were shining. it made a kind of hissing sound. it was not near bright enough to be a shooting star. there no other vehicles within sight when i saw this object. i seen it through the windshield and then followed it through my door glass opening on the drivers side. my window was rolled down all the way so it wasn't a reflection.

One Enflamed craft and large craft above feild.

I was in a local feild, Using my telescope. When looking at stars. I scanned by to look at another. And saw 2 mysterious craft. One disk shaped with a red light inside. And one very large one with a blue light inside. Out of no where. The red lighted craft went on fire. At that moment I got the most detail of it. I saw the reflections of the fire on metal with symbols. None ive everseen, The inflamed craft came down, In the feild. I decided since I have a phone with me, To take a picture of it. After the "Click!" of the picture, The fire on the craft engulfed the whole craft and vansished, With only one clue left. A peice of metal. Its symbol was what seemed like the alleged "Crop Circle" Shapes. I took the metal to a neerby cop (who was one of the witnesses) When he was examining the metal. It glowed a vomit-like green. (only the symbol was glowing) and the blue lighted craft flew overhead. The metal vanished like the ship. And the blue craft flew upwards, And went through the cloud layer without making a hole in the cloud! Normally, I wasnt superspicious, But now, This experiance made me belive were not alone.

Last night me and my friend were walking home down merriman road and i look up and over to the left and i see flashes of light that looked like lightning flashes but there was no bolt or sound of thunder just flashes. I only saw the first one then like 30 seconds later i see another flash and the duration was longer this time my friend saw it too. We turn down my street walk for about another 30 seconds look up to the right and we see the object fly away.

Today at school i tell my friends at lunch and one of them said they saw the same thing and before i tell him when we saw it he says around 7:00.

Then I tell someone else later on that day about it and he told me some girl in his 4th hour was talking about it too but she said she saw green lights.

my friend ((name deleted)) and i were working at a cafe one night,we were out back behind the restaurant smoking and talking whene a plane flew over.i love all types of aircraft so naturally i looked up and behind the passanger plane and saw a small flock of birds ,aproxametly 12.they were flying behind the plane along with about 8 or 9 white apple shaped balls,it was light outside bu they appeard to be lit up! but were not casting any shadow,from where we were sitting we could see they were flying in a group.

This came from my two teenage boys that were at the high school practicing before a football game. They noticed a white round "ball" looking shape far up in the sky. It looked to have glowed with a shadow around it. It was a pretty sunny day with very little clouds in the sky. A few other ball players along with one of the coaches noticed the "thing" in the sky. When they ran to tell the other coaches, it disappeared.

We have Gulftream Aerospace in the area but no aircraft was in the area at the time.

Something in our troubled NY skies?

After a long and very tragic week here in the NYC area, I feel compeled to watch our skys more vigilent. With commercial air traffic stopped for 3 days, the skys were sadly quite. I do not wish to add to the current state of confussion, but feel I must note any strangness in the skys around NYC. On this day Sunday Sept 16 2001 at 3:30 pm in sunny warm cloudless skies I saw what I thought could be a Mylar balloon or satelite at high alttitude. The size of the object when first sighted was 1/2 to 1/4 the size of a marbel held at arms lenght. The strange aspect of this object was it appeared rock steady showing no movement. It also showed no dissernable shape, and seemed highly reflective of the bright sunlite. Because size was hard to determine, I would guestimate an altitude of 20,000 feet( a full size commercial jet appeared in the sky but not near the object) the jet appeared as large as a marbel at arms lenght but at only 1/2 the objects altitude. At the time of the sighting I was sitting on the stairs of the Garden City Long Island railroad station, facing due east. The LIRR runs east to west for easy referance. As I had 2 young children in my care at the time, and because of close proximity to the train tracks, I could not study the object to closely. I decided to walk the children 3 blocks to there home. In the 15 to 20 min walk home the object did not move at all. Once home I ran into the house for a pair of Busnell 10 x 50 binoculars. The object appeared to be over central Nassau county in the area of Mithcel Feild/ Uniondale.( a side note this object would have had a clear line of sight view of the World Trade Center 22 miles away) If I were to point at the object my arm would be at about 60 degrees. SMy freind also looked at the object through the binoculars, we both feel this object did not look--- and more immportanly act like a balloon. I ran into the house and went online for an AOL weather report for our zip code, here is the live weather for the sighting. Clear sunny skies temp 70 degrees--winds south at 8 mph---humidity 49%--barometer 30.07 . I next ran to the local grocery store and brought 3 crome look mylar balloons. Since the object was to my east one would excpect when I released the mylar balloon it would follow on that path ( if the object was also a balloon too). The balloons when released acted like what I would excpect a balloon to act like, and followed the winds to the south, 45% away from the object I first viewed 39 min earlier. I should also note the balloons had nowhere near the same reflectivity as they twisted and turned on thier accent, with an occassional flash of sunlite, simular to a cameras flashbulb. Also the balloons I released stayed low in the horizion, and went no higher than 25%, but that could be attributed to the amount of helium in the balloon. It was futher determined, that infact the object did raise up in altitude, or reduced in size slowly through out the sighting untill it was no longer visible. I feel confident this was no balloon or satelite and will be even more vigilant of our great cities skies.

Two UFO's and a jet in pursuit.

I was out playing catch with my dad at dusk, when I noticed a bright object, nearly due south of my house, appear very near & below the moon (within the diamater of the moon below the moon) in the sky. In appearance, it looked like a meteor or light reflecting off of a missile or the fusilage of a shiny airliner. In this first object, there was a bright light at the front, and two smaller lights very close in a line behind (in reference to its direction of travel), which made it appear to be the tail of a meteor (but they did not change in relationship to the front light, so I've pretty much ruled that out). The lights were nearly the same color as the yellowish-red type of street light (high pressure sodium, I believe). There was no sound, nor was there a vapor trail. The object traveled in a mostly west & slightly south direction. When the object reached approximately south-southwest of my house, the 3 lights appeared to move closer together, until you could only see 1 light. This 1 light appeared to grow *at least* 4 times brighter than the 3 lights combined. It stayed bright for a period of time, maybe 10-15 seconds, then it dimmed to the brightness of the original light (the one in front without the 2 behind). It continued to move in the same mostly west, slightly south, direction until it faded out of sight (presumably from going further away). Just before the first object faded out completely, my dad looked at the spot where it appeared, just below the moon, & saw another object. This second object was *identical* in appearance & motion, including having the 3 lights combine into one, grow bright, & continue west until fading out of sight. At a similar interval (just before the second object faded completely), the third object appeared. It was sighted just above & to the left of the moon & traveled in exactly the same direction & approximately the same speed as the first two objects (presumably it was in pursuit). This third object was quite obviously a plane, as vapor trails and wings were evident. However, the leading edge glowed in 3 places a *bright* red, approximately the same hue as a bright red car, or a fresh cherry. I assume the bright red in front, was a reflection of the now set sun. I am no expert in finding velocities of flying objects, but if all three were plane sized, I approximate their speed at around 5-600mph, & an altitude of 30,000 to 45,000 feet. At no time did any of the objects change speed or direction of flight. My very first impression of these objects was that they were planes that had the setting sun's light reflecting off of them. But there were no vapor trails (except for the 3rd object), no strobe lights, no sound & no wings or tail (except the 3rd object, where we could clearly see wings). A few moments later an airliner flew directly overhead & it was very clear that this was an airplane, we could see the full length of the fusilage, the tail, both wings & a vapor trail. But the first two objects are very puzzling to us; they definitely fit the under the category of Unidentified Flying Objects. Orange balls of light over the ocean fading in and out

We were spending the week at the beach. On the second night, we noticed an orange orb of light out over the ocean but high enough to be a foot over the rooftops of the houses in front of ours. The lights were an orange color and were about the size of a street light. The sky would be dark, and all of a sudden, the light would just turn on instantly just like a car headlight. Only this was maybe 2 miles out over the ocean and were way too high in the sky to be confused for a boat on the horizon or a flare. The light would turn on, and start to dim and fade out. It would be dark again, and a few minutes would pass and all of the sudden it would turn on again, and begin to fade out again. We managed to capture this on video the second night with houses in front of us along with cars going by just to prove it was real. At one time, two lights would turn on at once and begin to fade out. I ruled it out that these could be natural occuring phenomon because there had to be thought behind it. There was a pattern that would keep occuring. The way the would light up one right after the other and fade out definitly showed that this could not have been any kind of ball lightning(no clouds) or a flare because a flare would be much brighter and would move. These lights never moved farther than a foot to the left or right. And every night, you could expect them to be in the same position. We could basically time them and know exactly what time they would occur.

6 equal size round amber colored lights equal distance apart, stationary for at least 2 hours.

My mother, sister and I were sitting in back of our rental cottage ("MY STARS") on lawn chairs in the sand facing the ocean as we did every night, every year where our family gathered for a week long vacation.

We all noticed about the same time that the amber circles which were all the same size appeared quite high above the ocean and a far distance from us in a line with a large but equal distance apart from each other.

They appeared stationary and were visible to us for at least two hours and were gone leaving no evidence including noise that they had ever been there.

Possible triangular ship.

On the drive home from Harrisonville, heading east on 7, it was about 11:45 ((sic. p.m.)), my carpooling friend noticed the 3 lights first. He said they would appear, then disappear. He asked me if it was a plane or whatever the hell it could be.

I was driving, so I had to keep glancing out his window, it appeared and disappeared what looked like south of garden city. The 3 lights looked in line horizontally. The 3 lights were orange, would glow brighter and then disappear. It would do that for a few minutes, then vanished.

Upon approaching the exit would garden city, it was back. We pulled over to get a good look and got out of the car. It looked further away, somewhere south east garden city. There were a couple aircraft flying in its location, circling it. Could tell they were jets by there lights. The ship this time was much further away, it looked like one glowing orb this time. I took a picture with my phone as quick as I could, but being so dark and far away the quality of the snap does no justice. I assumed from references that the 3 lights were part of the triangular style ship.

Update: UFO over Garden City (5829 Harrison Rd) in 1983 (Approx)

UPDATE: I would like to be contacted by the other person who witnessed a UFO in Garden City in the "early 1980s." It sounds like we saw the same craft.

I was the person who filed a report regarding a UFO sighting in Garden City on 6/15/1983. My original UFO report was filed 2003.

I was reading through the report and noticed that another person posted a UFO sighting in the "Early 1980s" on this site as well.

I would like for the person who witnessed the sighting in the early 1980s to contact me via email -----------((address deleted)) Also, I have included the exact address where the sighting occurred in 1983.

The date of 1983 is only approximate and the sighting could have occurred in 1982, 1983 or 1984. I believe that I was 8 years old when this occurred.

The only other living person who witnessed the craft is my mother. She still remembers all of the details (Probably better than me.) Sighting occurred at ((number deleted)) Harrison St, Garden City, Mi. Year - Approx 1983 BTW, I do not believe that this craft was human made. The object "took off" and left area at a speed "MUCH" greater that a fighter jet traveling above the speed of sound.

The craft did not emit any sound and there was no vapor trail. The only visible trail would have been the "light tracer" trails that it left when it flew out of sight in a blink of an eye. The same kind of "tracer" that you see when you spin a sparkler around during the fourth of July.

I look forward to hearing from the person who also witnessed this craft.

Also, a UFO investigator may contact me as well if needed.

Please dont think I'm crazy. The year was approx. 1983 or 1984.

I was about 8 years old. I was living in Garden City Michigan with my parents.

I dont remember a date: I can tell you that is was warm outside. at approx 11:30 pm or so.

My father was a truck driver and was out of the state. I was staying with my mother.

I had a friend spending the night who went to get us some Toco Bell on his bike.

I remember that helter skelter was playing on TV and there were a bunch or Regan and Bush election comercials on. My friend was taking a long time to come back and my mother and I went outside to see if he was comming down the rode.

We spotted the boy driving his bike down the rode holding a toco bell bag..

He looked up in the sky with his mouth hanging open, dropped the bag and fell off his bike. We looked in the sky and seen; "Your going to think I'm crazy" A HUGE round craft with lights all around it and a a bright light comming out of a big hole in the center. It was kinda like a doughnut...there was a hole in the center but the light was blurred or hazy so we couldnt see beyond the hole..The craft was made from some metallic material. "Looked like grey metal. The craft was turning at a medium pace in a circle hovering right above us. The craft was so big it looked like it was a lid to a cookie jar that we were inside. I started running in circles crying...my mother was grabbing me trying to get me in the house...As soon as she got into the house she called my grandmother up on the phone. My grandpa and grandma looked outside and seen the same craft. They said it looked like it was right above them object. My mother left the phone to go see if it was still there. My mother and I went outside and it was still there. A second later it took off slowily in a diagonal direction upwards then come to a complete stop..then it Zoomed off with a flash in the opposite direction leaving our site. My grandpa seen 1 other small craft leaving with the main one...But I only seen one. Concerned, my mother called The GC Police dept. And said " Please listen. this is not a prank. There was something over our house about 5 minutes ago" The police said. MAMM, we havent had any reportings of any objects in the sky today.It was probably just a plane. My mom got pissed and hung up.

The next day I seen something on TV about sightings of a Bush election plane flying around.."Sounds like they were trying to justify something" I would like to see this object again. My memory is slightly clouded due to the time passed. I can say that this was a FLYING SAUCER without a doubt. It wasnt little flying lights or a falling star ...It was a Huge grey metal disk that must have been over a mile in diameter " I forgot to mention, my grandma lived 1 mile away from us." I seen what appeared to be windows with light comming out of them..The funny thing was.This thing had alot of light comming from it, but the groung wasnt lit up nor were the houses in the general area...I find it hard to believe nobody else seen the same thing even thought it was 11:300 or later.

Oops almost forgot..There wasnt any sound from the object that I could hear.

Circular - Rotating and hovering east to west and back again at night in Garden City, MI in the early 1980's.

OK, I've never seen anything strange before or since and still can't believe what I say to this day. So, being the internet age and all, I thought I'd search for what I saw that night to see if anyone else reported it. I think I found the exact "thing" I saw in the sky as reported on http://www.ufopicks.com/.

It was the early 80's and I was approximately 10 years old. My older sister was in the phone with her friend and told me that there was a "flying saucer" outside. I quickly ran to the front window (facing east) and saw what appeared to be either a relatively low flying circular craft with rotating lights (Like L.E.D.'s) slowing pacing in an exact line from west to east and then back again from east to west. Or it was huge and much higher in the sky than it may have appeared.

It was a clear night. The "thing" was right above our house on it's east to west and back again pattern of flying. I was mezmorized. I was old enough to know that it wasn't a plane or copter. It made no noise and very smoothly went about it's business. I didn't see it "exit" the aky because it would come into view for a minute or two before going over the horizon and back again... then at one point it never returned from the horizon. It seemed as thought it was surveying the area because of it's straight back and forth flight... it would move just a little to the south on each and every "trip".

FYI... this "thing" was somewhere in between Warren and Ford Road (east - west roads) and seemed to disappear from the horizon once it hit Inkster Road (to the east) and Middlebelt Road (to the west)... due to the horizon being limited because of houses and trees.

If anyone else remembers the exact year or can add to my memory, please do so. I KNOW I saw it, as did my sister and the friend on the phone that lived about a half mile to our west.

The exacty description of the "thing" was a perfect circle with LED type of yellowish-red lights that rotated around this "thing"... It seemed to have a top and bottom (both circular)... with the LED's (or whatever) around the middle. I could not make out the body of the "thing" because the lights were too bright.

I'm not crazy... really. It was there. My best guess is that it was between 1980-1983.

Stars or lights apparently joining up in the sky.

I read something by Grant Cameron, and he suggests reporting and documenting all sightings. I have often thought about this and now I would like to share it.

I graduated from high school June 10 1970. It was a few days later, or maybe a week or two, it's been a long time now. We lived in Garden City Michigan. We often slept outside, and we always had our sleeping bags ready to go. In our neighborhood in Garden City we all had big back yards, lots of trees, and it was really like sleeping in the woods. It was a dry clear night, and we laid out in our sleeping bags. We talked a lot and were both staring up at the stars, when we both noticed something unusual at a star right straight above us. The star or light would have other lights going up to it, and then leave it. Its been a long time, but I believe we saw at least 4 stars or lights joining up with it, then departing. I cant recall if the activity ceased, or if we just fell asleep. I think I might have compared it to a gas station, or a drive in restaurant. We both saw it at the same time and always wondered what it could have been.

Now hearing all the declassified info about the spy satellites (Hexagon) and others I wonder if this is what we both saw that night.

Football Shpaed craft seen over Detroit suburb (1966)

I was ten years old and had walked out on to our front porch. (My parents had some Canadian relatives over and they were playing cards inside at our kitchen table.)

Upon getting out the front door I noticed four neighbors out on their front lawn two house north of mine. They were talking about something and had a telescope outside with them on a tripod. I remember thinking that that was pretty cool.

I looked at them and then looked in the direction that their telescope was pointed just in time to see a glowing, bright powder blue football shaped object come towards us. It traveled in a straight line trajectory very low (maybe a few hundred feet up) and passed right over us without a sound.

It was a clear cloudness summer night and this was no searchlight beam or airplane. I had never seen anything like then or since! I immediately ran inside to get my parents but it never returned.

I don't know why the people two houses down had a telescpoe out but ! suspected that it may have been around before I saw it. I'll never forget it.
