Multiple lights going across the sky

There were around 15 lights going across the sky, varying in color and speed. One was suspended for a moment and swayed from left to right and another was pulsing unlike any plane. Some lights were green, some were white, red, and only one was blue. They seemed to be going in one direction for the most part but a few went in strange patterns and came very close to each other when crossing paths. My husband and I were outside with our dog and watched them in the sky for around an hour. I’m sure the lights continued on longer but it was getting quite cold outside so we went back into our house.

Appeared continuously for 2.5 hours did not appear in any other areas of the sky besides directly above the lighthouse.

Trying to catch the northern lights at Nubble lighthouse in York, Maine and we we’re out on the rocks watching the sky. I notice what I thought was a shooting star. Then I noted two more after that. My boyfriend saw the second ones. These were seen in the part of the sky that was directly above the lighthouse. There were no northern lights visible either and the sky was completely clear. We continued watching that part of the sky and realized every minute or so 1-3 objects would dart out of the sky and they were going in a zig zag patter in multiple different directions. They were not staying straight in one direction like a shooting star. I thought I was crazy and then a group of guys next to us piped up and said they say them to! We continued watching this till 12:16am at that location. We watched other part of the sky as well to see if we could see anything and they were only appearing above the lighthouse the whole time. We use binoculars and they seemed more cylindrical than star shaped. We then left that sight and drove to Cape Nedick to see if we could see them and the sky was completely clear but it was only stars and there was no activity. We drove back to nubble light around 1:11am to see if it was still happening. I got out of the car and wishing 5 minutes of watching the same area in the sky we started to see the zig zagging lights again in the same exact location continuously until we left at 1:36am. There was a couple guys with cameras on tripods set up pointing at the light house and I asked if they noticed and they hadn’t but I explained what we had seen and while I was explaining 2 zigged across the sky and they were able to see them! One of the guys actually got so freaked out he left. The other guy stayed and he was taking time lapse photos when they would flash by to see if he could capture the streak and the photo came up without the object in it at all. He said he thought it was strange because when he sees shooting stars he able to capture them but these he could not. These things would go across the sky in a zig zag almost like they were racing and they would appear and then just disappear into the darkness. I have never experienced anything like this ever but it was amazing.

What appeared to be a full moon abruptly moved across the sky from 180 * SW to 200* stayed until 10:30pm then abruptly shrunk in size

After moving from 180 degrees SW to 200 degrees SW it stayed still for 2 hours then dropped in an angle to 240 degrees SW almost to the ground. It then instantly moved upward to right about 100 ft then back to whee it had temporarily stopped. At this point it’s a white dot that increased and decreased its illuminosity. According to moon schedule it should have been a new quarter only right side showing. I have video on my ring camera. Besides this a small white orb floats down parallel. Also have odd lights for at least 3 consecutive nights and saucer craft that can only be seen on video. The moon like object could be seen. At first it simply appeared and as it moved right it seemed to change shape and illuminosity around its edges but staying roughly round. I need to screen record my Ring footage. Wanted to send this right away.

Witnessed glowing orb followed by 2 Helicopters

Hello, I am filing this report my first report one which I have filed on one other website but they did not return correspondence so I am filing here. I wish to get these off of my chest as it has been troubling me all of my life. On January 15, 2022 as I entered my automobile, I noticed a glowing orb just above powelines. It was white / blueish on color, and it was bright. It pulsated slowly and moved slowly and perfectly as if on straight and set path from North-East to South-west. It did not exhibit unusual maneuvering nor did it have any discernible shape. Shortly after it passed overhead, the sound of Helicopters faded in and followed the orb from it's point of origin North-East. Unfortunately the video is approximately 30 seconds in length and the video quality itself is unremarkable. As it passed over and after 30 seconds I felt a sense of fear and discomfort, so much so I felt compelled to stop recording. This is not the last time I witnessed this type of orb and in fact just 5 days later it made another appearance of which I recorded as well; only that time it was much closer and it grew in size and was even brighter but as I mentioned on the other websites reporting form, I will reserve that higher quality video until I can gauge wether or not this initial report/video will be taken seriously before I decide to follow-up. Shiny upright cylinder that rotated seen by three witnesses

The object I observed yesterday on September 11, 2021 at around 3:30 - 3:45 PM was a somewhat shiny cylinder shape in an up/ down orientation. It appeared stationary and I could see it had a slow rotation to it because it had some kind of bump out / protrusion towards the top of its shape that would shine bright probably from the reflection of the sun. It was northeast in the sky from where I was observing it. It was hard to tell just how high it was at first and I was in total awe as to what I was looking at. I quickly went inside to grab binoculars and had my wife and daughter come out to take a look. I was afraid that it would be gone but sure enough we all spotted it... but it was smaller and no doubt higher up. Even with the binoculars it was hard to get a clear view of it. A few clouds at one point obstructed it so I knew then it had to be fairly high up by now. We watched it as it just kept getting smaller and disappeared from sight. We all agreed i! t had rotation to it and had no idea what it could have been. None of us have ever witness anything like this. I am reporting this in the hopes of learning that others may have seen it and took the time to report it as well.

Diamond-shaped object with lights seen flying over Interstate 83.

I was on my way home from work at 8:48 p.m. As I pulled up in front of my house (just outside of inner city York), I noticed something in the sky moving out from behind the trees near my yard. I looked up and spotted a large, irregularly-shaped diamond-like object travelling at a high rate of speed overhead. By my estimations, the object was flying at an altitude of 8,000-10,000 feet, and was between roughly 100 and 120 feet in length, though this was hard to determine as it was dark outside and I could only vaguely discern the sides of the object. There were 3 solid yellow lights on its points, and a blinking white light in its center. It was completely silent as it passed. It was heading northeast over Interstate 83, and disappeared from my field of vision after about 1 minute.

We were getting things ready for the lake the next day when our neighbors hollered at us to come check this out. We went over there and he says "are we seeing things or do you guys see this also" we saw lights following one another in total of 9 way too close to be an airplane or any other craft due to turbulence. When one would disappear in the front of the line one would appear at the back of the line until eventually one by one they all just vanished and we couldn't see any thing else. Clear sky's no meteor shower acts like that no drones around here.....

Bright colorful lights, capsule shaped object

Object was stationary a majority of the time. Bright lights around the middle changing from white to blue to red and then a night lavender. Lights faded into other colors. It was distant but I could see a faint outline above and under the object. It was shaped like a Tylenol capsule lengthwise. Long part up and down, not side to side. I was sleeping on my couch and woke up and noticed the light in the sky from my front window. I went outside to get a better look. It occasionally moved quickly from left to right. Over the next hour and a half or so, I kept going out to see if it was still there. My last venture out, it moved away to the left quickly and disappeared. The lights were extremely bright, and the color changes were almost rhythmic. Beautiful colors. There was a haze above and below the lights that outlined an oval capsul like shape. I saw this one other time months ago but it only was around about ten minutes. This time it was an extended time

Two objects apparently the same size, shape, color, movement sitting in the same place, one for thirty-five days, the other the same.

I am a retired school teacher of 42 years. I have an MEd in Administration and Supervision. I am 74 years old.

On Monday, July 1, this year, I was on my deck attached to my home. At approx. 21:00, I was watching the sky at dusk, watching commercial airliners fly directly over my home, flying east to west. My home is directly under airliners' flights apparently from Philadelphia/New York to the west coast. As an airliner went across the sky, I saw an object off to the side of it. At first, I thought it was a star and didn't pay any attention to it. As the plane moved forward, I saw this "object" start to move at about a ninety degree angle directly toward what I realized was an intersect point with the plane. Now, I could see that the object was not a star as it was close to the earth. The object had ball-like pieces that moved around as the object moved toward the plane. The balls were different colors with three white ones that moved around the outside of the others. From where I stood, the object was going to run directly into the plane. The plane continued, the object stopped as the plane passed, evidently the two were not at the same altitude. The object then made a ninety-degree left turn at an apparent high rate of speed. If the plane was moving at 400 mph, the object was moving at about the same rate toward the plane, made that turn, then followed the plane at the same speed for a short time. At that point, I became aware that the object was not alone. A second, similar object "appeared," and I say appeared because it was not there a second before. The second object was farther to the east. It was not as well "put together" as the first as the second had similar round parts, but they were not organized into a shape as the first was. The second approached the flight path of the plane but behind it. The object seemed to get organized as the lights formed, it appeared, a flat object. The object followed the plane, apparently tracking it or staying behind it, toward the west until it disappeared. In th! e meantime, the first object moved erratically in one place wh! ere it s topped following the plane, the ball-like structures moved around inside the shape, changed colors, and appeared to form a large sphere-shaped object that was "rolling." After maybe fifteen minutes, the object began to move upward, away from the Earth. Today, thirty-five days later, the object "sits" in the sky in the same place, but much farther away from the Earth. It sits there, still observable with the un-aided eye, with the "balls" of light moving around in random motion. And, the total object, moves, apparently randomly, from my observation point, left, right, up and down in the sky. A second object, I do not know if it is the same second object as I saw the first night, now sits at apparently the same altitude but more to the western sky. Its movement is observable left, right, up, and down, apparently random. Its balls of light move in the same way as the first object.

I have observed these objects nightly when it is not too hazy or cloudy. The first one is in the same place as the first night, and the second object sits at about the same place as it was after tracking the plane.

Am I nuts? No. I am observing an obviously controlled object in the sky.

White large slow moving object NW of moon @ 16:15

I can find zero corrobative evidence for star, planet or known craft. It was about 45 degrees to the NW of the moon which is due SE of my viewing position. It was very high, initially acting reflective to setting sun. Initially large; with almost stationary placement. Over ten minutes in moved towards it moved from overhead straight SE towards the moon; losing size and luminosity as it did. The sky was blue and cloudless. I have a picture that shows the object, but as you know, it’s not great from a phone. There is a second dark sphere that I did not see when pic was taken. I saw no birds, but can’t extrapolate beyond that. The primary object move barely a degree per minute. It was extraordinary in a blank sky. I used SkyView app and online search to research. Nothing matched up or showed as an option. As you ask, I am passing this along while fresh. I will look tomorrow to verify if it is a planet in the same spot. As of now, it is unknown to me.

A fire ball was moving in the atmosphere while stopping, going, and even changing directions.

11:17 p.m CST. (The before situation) This is when I first snuck outside to go stargazing for a while. When I first came outside I began to watch the stars and relax as the last day of school for me is the 5th of May 2017. I see the usual things such as a few shooting stars, twinkling of the stars, and just normal stuff one would see in the night sky. Minutes pass by as my friend and I were talking about the what Earth would look like from space.

11:34 p.m CST.(The Sighting itself) Now at this time I was just glancing around in the sky when I first saw it and pointed it out to my friend. It looked like a meteor at first from a very far distance. This was in the East/South sky, about 75-80 degrees. It was such a bright flash of light compared to other stars and it didn't just go away. For a minute I thought it was just another planet. Then thoughts crossed my mind if it was a man made satellite. It couldn’t have been however. It was moving different directions. First traveling towards the South sky. Then it began crossing in a back and forth motion. It would occasionally stop for a minute or two. Then it would go back up and move in this back and forth motion.

At this point I stood up knowing it was not man made, as my friend tracked it, I ran quickly grabbed my high powered laser pointer (10 Mile radius Class 4 green colored) my friend pointed it out and we shone it to see if there would be reaction from it. It did seem to react which was very interesting meaning it must have spotted this light, at least a very low power of it. As soon as i shone at this light, it stopped and stood still. It didn't move for at least 5 minutes. It moved again and I shone at it again. The craft stopped again. By this point my friend and I ran inside and changed and began looking up who records these sightings.

11:48 p.m CST. (The call in) After seeing this I began looking for somebody who would take in this sighting. I googled exactly where to report and immediately called the hotline.

11:50 p.m CST.

I told the man at first how i swear it was not a prank call. I forgot his name (I asked at the end and completely forgot) I explained it as “A fireball" looking thing that switched directions in the sky” It was in more words but if I were not so panicky of giving a 15 second detail it would've sounded better. He told me to make a report on what me and my friend saw and in a way he could describe it. Therefore, I made this report in order to show that a sighting is just a matter of paying attention.

I don't remember the exact date or even the month this happened. I know it was spring 2007 or 2008. I got off work at 12 & headed down East Market St. I was on my way to Planet Fitness to work out. I noticed bright lights to my left, like stadium light brightness. I turned on Haines Road, keeping my eye on the lights.

I turned onto 7th Ave & stopped before the stop sign in front of the playground & stuck my head out the window to see a huge black triangle with a bright light on each corner directly above me. It was extremely low, barely above the trees & a house. It made absolutely no noise & was the size of a large plane. I turned my car off to listen & heard nothing. I looked around hoping someone else was seeing this thing but nobody was around. I could see cars still going by on Haines Road but they didn't see it. After 5 minutes, it began to slowly float toward Green Spring apartments & out of sight.

I thought to myself, nobody would believe me & preceded to go to the gym, not once thinking anymore about it. I don't remember how much time passed. I didn't tell my fiancee when I got home. I had "forgotten" it. In fact, I didn't remember it happening until days later & I told him then. He laughed it off but I know what I saw hovering above me. I find it convenient that my memory vanished right afterward. Maybe I was abducted, I don't know. When it came back to me, I couldn't believe I didn't say something about it right away! When it did come back, it was a OMG! Did I tell you what I saw? Maybe they were abducting someone in the house they were over? I'm posting this now because I still think about it & wanted to share with other people without being laughed at. My husband still can't answer me when I ask well what was it then? No plane hovers & even if they did, it would make noise. It wasn't a balloon & it was too big for a drone.

I was standing outside my home, watching the sky. I seen two sets of flashing red and white lights coming towards each other. I thought they where going to crash.

Then a helicopter like craft appeared about 10 feet in front of me. I yelled for my fiance, but as soon as I did, boom it was gone. I know what I saw.

Also, from a distance there was a flashing white light that lite the sky up, while many flashing red and white light crafts where flying in the sky.

I have no clue what was going on, but I have never seen something like this before. It was incredible.

Saw multiple low flying planes over head which is odd for our area. As they were passing by we took notice to this very bright spot in the sky which we thought it was possibly a star or or something of that nature since it was very bright and didn't seem to be moving.

One of us grabbed the binoculars so we could get a better view during that time the other was keeping an eye on the object. When we had the binoculars, we took notice that the object started moving but at a very slow rate. Even with the binoculars we could not make out what this object was it appeared to be bright yellow and almost looked like a balloon or bag with a spherical shape, no lights, or identifying markers.

As we watched the object it did not seem as though it had a set path since it made a "Z" motion through the sky, without making any sound, or leaving any trail.

It appeared to be headed in a northern direction as it disappeared from view.

Myself and 2 friends of mine were driving to the store and noticed a small string of connected lights and didn't think much of it. I suggested it was a UFO, but it looked as if it could have been lights on a tower.

On the way back from the store we looked for it to see if it was still there and it was. We kept our eyes on it as we drove up a hill and realized the entire triangular object started moving really fast across the sky. The object looked slanted with a flat surface and was covered in lights. There were a bunch of helicopters in the area as well.

I was driving when I saw a strange plane-like object with a flashing light floating, then flying extremely slow and close to ground.

I was driving down a part of route 1 when I looked out the window and noticed some lights in the near distance in the sky. There were two bright bluish-white lights on either side of the object, and then a flashing white light in the middle/front. For a minute, I figured it had to be a plane - the two lights on either side and the flashing light looked almost exactly like how a plane would look flying at night, and I thought I could make out the shape of the two wings on either side. But something was still really strange about it.

As I kept driving, I noticed the object seemed too close to the ground to be a plane. York is only a town over from an airport, so it's not abnormal to see planes that aren't very high in the sky because they're taking off or landing. But this object was WAY lower in the sky than any plane I've seen, so that really had me questioning whether it was actually a plane. Then, as I got even closer, I realized that if this thing was a plane, how could I have been getting so close to it. If this thing really was a plane, it would have been gone long before I could have even questioned whether it was a plane. But I kept getting closer and closer to it. That's when I started thinking maybe it was some tower with lights (also not an uncommon thing to see, but not something I had ever seen on this road before).

When I finally caught up to it, I kept looking straight up at it and I thought it was a tower of some sort for sure. It didn't look like it was moving, so I thought "case closed".... Until it started matching my speed. This is when I really started to freak out a little. Towers obviously don't move, but I have NEVER in my life seen a plane FLOAT and then go as slow as a car. I also noticed that it had very similar plane-like features such as what looked like wings, but it also looked somewhat like it had multiple edges to it. What really got to me was the fact that I felt like it was almost following me. It was moving almost exactly at the same speed as me and going in the same direction. Then, I finally made a turn onto another road, and then I freaked out even more because the object started going in the same direction as me again! I was almost at my destination so I decided I would just wait until I arrived there to continue looking at the object. But, after only peeling my eyes away for a few seconds to look at the road, it was gone when I looked back. When I finally got out of my car at my destination, I noticed a lot of dogs were barking and making noise, which only amplified the strange feeling.

This experience was really strange and scary. A part of me wants to believe and on some level thinks that it was just some weird plane, but even tho I didn't see any weird beams or colored lights, I have NEVER seen any plane shaped or act like this before, and I definitely have never seen a plane disappear into thin air within a matter of seconds.

Outside of my house at approx. 2100 hours, I noticed an object flying at what looked like 20000 feet. I had no time to photograph. I ran inside, and got on my computer to find no current flights within 100 miles of my location, and the I.S.S was off the west coast.

There where a total of 7 lights, one wide V shaped, and next to it, a large T shape. Moving far too fast to be a plane, and too slow to be a satellite

Blinding white orb emerging closer, opening up into a triangle as it flew overhead, with pulsating red and green lights.

My friend and I were driving home on a back road at 11:00 pm, when we saw a really really bright star. She jokingly asked what it was, but suddenly it started to rapidly emerge from the far sky, getting closer each second. It was so bright that it was painful to look at.

We slammed on the brakes and got out of the car. We looked up at the white ball of light, which suddenly opened up into a triangle shaped craft with blinding red lights on the right, and blinking green on the left, with a trailing light kind of like a headlight.

It flew over head kind of slowly; slow enough for us to get a good look at least, and then it disappeared. Then we looked up at the sky again trying to find it, when all the sudden the sky was lit up with green and red pulsating orbs that were clearly not stars of any sort. This was the scariest night of my life.

Dark Object with glowing side panels of light (red, greenish blue) and white front light, SILENT

Driving down dark road, saw a bright light high in the sky, remarked it "looked like a planet" to friend until it started to get closer and closer and became blinding as it got nearer... Pulled over in a park and ride and observed the blinding "headlight." The object swooped down in a path like a "J" where the as the "pin point" of light got closer and larger and brighter, at the bottom of the "J" the object slowed to a near stop and was absolutely SILENT; the object was dark but appeared disk-like to me, triangular to my friend shooting the video on her phone; we observed lights on three parts of the object, glowing red "panel" of light along one entire side, not a flashing strobe light, light was a steady red glowing panel of light; object looked like the size of a helicopter in the sky, but silent and disk shaped, no wings, no rotor, etc; the front had a very bright (blinding) "white light&! quot;, the other side was a glowing greenish blue "panel" of light, again not a strobe light but a glowing side of the object about the same size as the red panel of light; object was completely silent and moving very slowly but moving forward in a Westerly direction coasting over us and out of sight as the trees obscured it from view... VERY scary... not the UFO "type", can't explain what I saw, I know what an airplane or helicopter looks and sounds like, this was silent... WOW!

It was first time being in the town and was out on a late night drive with the boyfriends family when we came across a large ball of light out in a cornfield that was gamma ray green and hovering high as a billboard I asked the locals in the car what that was and they freaked out and said they didn't know there wasn't supposed to be anything out there and they hit the gas peddle and floored it away from there.

Two flickering orange objects sighted twice over in 1.5 hours time over York, Nebraska.

I witnessed 2 flickering, orange lights over York at two different times. First sighting was at around 21:00. Lights flickering quickly and in no discernible pattern. Watched for nearly a minute as the progressed from south to north before blinking out.

The local fireworks display began shortly thereafter. Display concluded at appx 22:30 and I sighted the objects again. The second sighting lasted for nearly 3 minutes as the two "craft" circled each other, stood motionless for a few moments then parted ways. One proceeded east until it was out of sight. The other proceeded north until it had disappeared from view.

Multiple silent orange lights seemingly coming from the south, flying a bit to north, and then off to the east.

Initially, saw two orangish lights (about the color of the orange street lights) completely silent flying one on top of the other seeming in parallel just slightly above the treetops eventually going higher and then of to the east disappearing into the clouds.

Then another two came up from the south and again appeared to be flying in some loose formation one above the other.

Then there was a bit of a break then single "lights" would appear on the southern horizon and appear to heard slightly to north and then east and disappear into the clouds.

This continued on for a while the timing of each was not identical sometimes a longer lull in between the "lights" and other times they seemed to come almost two at a time.

But the travel of each from the south slightly north and then off to the east stayed the same. This continued on till around 23:30.

Six objects with the appearance of an orange afterburner glow traveling in sequence and seemingly spaced evenly on same path.

While skying watching from our deck, spotted a bright orange object on a northern trajectory from the south. The rate of speed seemed to be much slower then any meteor that I've seen in the past.

As I pointed the first object out to my son and as the first object seemed to fade behind clouds to the north the second object appeared to the south.

My son stepped into the house to tell my wife what we were seeing and as he did a third object appeared. As he returned to the deck the fouth appeared and we proceeded to watch a fifth and six object arrive.

All six objects appeared to be on an identical trajectory. They all seemed to slow at a point when we were looking at them towards the east. Having been in the Navy they had more of an appearance of missles inflight.

No noise, no vapor trails. One did appear to eject a lighted objected at the end of it's run and another appear to be somewhat elongated with lights down the side.

From time spotted in the southern sky to their burn out or disappearnce to the north took about two minutes each.

I have seen objects from my deck for the past several years and one similiar sighting just about four or five days before this one. This one appeared to come from the east.

We have continuous air traffic over our house and I these objects were not planes. Very, very curious and hoping for some kind of explanation.

A group of orangish circular craft are spotted.

On Saturday, May 31, about 10 PM, my wife and I were sitting on our deck around a fire pit. There was a party going on at the house behind us.

I got up to go inside when I looked up into the sky and saw a group of six or seven lights moving toward us from the south. They were moving in a Northerly direction not unlike conventional aircraft. The thing I thought was odd was their shape and color. They were all identical; circular, orange at the center with a yellowish ring around the edge with 2 very small flashing white lights opposite each other along the rim.

As the group moved across the sky it seemed one was lagging on behind and caught up with the rest of the group. They had no sound at all. When they met together as a group right above us, they started to disappear one at a time, which I thought was kind of odd. It was a partly cloudy sky that night. I could see some stars so I don’t know if they climbed and went through clouds or exactly what happened.

I don’t know what their elevation could have been.

Bright white circular light/craft in sky shoots down to 200-300 ft above ground, hovers, than shoots back up at extremely high speed

It was about 3:30 or 4 AM soon before I was going to go to sleep. I have one of those green laser pointers and I thought why not go out and look at the stars for a little bit because it was one of the clearest nights it had been in a while. To add to the darkness and clearness in the sky, one of my neighbors who always keeps his back light on happened to leave it off that night, so it was about the darkest I've ever seen it in my backyard.

So I’m out on my back deck looking at the stars, shining different patterns and pointing out some constellations with the laser pointer for about 30 seconds to a minute, and all of a sudden a bright, round white light illuminates in the sky appearing to be about half the size of the moon at first. From my position, I was looking up at it at about the 12:00 position but it was not directly above me, a little bit in front of me. It was hard to tell how high up it was but it looked like it could have been star level. Right when I saw it light up, it really took me by surprise and I was just thinking like what the hell is that thing.

This is where the story gets hard to believe. After the object illuminated and appeared to remain still for a second or 2, it shot down from sky in in a complete vertical line to about 200-300 ft. above the ground (about 4-5 full tree lengths based on the trees it was above in my backyard), in only a matter of seconds. When this happened, I was in complete shock and awe and dropped my laser pointer, just standing there and staring. The light was so bright that it almost hurt my eyes but I couldn’t look away. It seemed to be about the size of a car but completely round. When it shot down, it was moving at speeds much faster than any type of aircraft that I’ve ever seen. When it came to its stopped position, the light bent a little but then went back to its circular shape. The light was completely white and like I said almost a little bit blinding. Also, since I was looking up at it, it seemed like I was looking at the bottom of it and didn’t have a side-view, so the c! ircular shape that I saw may have just been the underneath of the structure. It also emitted a soft, really low frequency sound as it hovered there but there was no sound when it was coming down. It stayed completely still and hovered for about 5 seconds. It truly felt like as I was staring at it, it was staring right back at me. And then all of a sudden it shot strait back up into the sky vertically in the same path at an extremely fast rate of speed about equal to how fast it came down. But when it shot back up it reached a certain point in the sky, and then paused for a second, then shot off westward at a sharp angle and then quickly disappeared. One of the craziest parts to me is that I don’t even live in the woods or out in the middle of nowhere. I live in your average suburban neighborhood.

Right after it happened, I went back in the house and went to bed immediately. I thought about waking my dad up to tell him but it was really late and I was kind of trying to convince myself that I didn't really just see that. I don’t want to tell a lot of people because I know that this story seems pretty crazy, but I know what I saw and I’m not lying.

A triangular shaped object with lights was seen moving erratically at a high rate of speed above a busy highway.

Triangular shaped object appeared on horizon at approximately 9:15 p.m. and first appeared to be a planet or bright star. Object was seen from a moving vehicle and rapidly approached to within 600-800 feet of road before stopping to hover in air above road. Now revealed to have 2 different colored lights (red and white) on points of triangle. Third, greenish-colored light appeared on third point of triangle, and the lights continued to slowly alternate colors before stopping with original red and white lights. Craft continued to move upward and to the south with erratic movements, moving approximately 2 times as fast as a commercial jet airliner. Continued moving south over the tree line and past the horizon. Visual contact with the object was lost at about 9:25 p.m. and was not re-established at any point afterwards.

Orange Lights in Night Sky Over York PA

I left church after Good Friday services on March 29, 2013 in York, PA at about 8:30 PM EST and saw unfamiliar lights in the sky overhead, though somewhat in a southerly direction. The lights, about 15 in number, were orange in color and appeared to be a horizontal light source. They were brighter than the north star and seemed to be a few times larger than the north star from my vantage point. They DID NOT flicker, twinkle, or flash, but seemed to emit light much like a candle, but horizontally. They were randomly spaced and moved slowly across the sky in what seemed like a non-changing formation, and did so in approximately a west to east direction. I CAN NOT SAY that I saw any vehicle, aircraft, or any type of objects, just light sources. Actually, I do not recall hearing any sound coming from that area of the sky. I did not view that lights with any type of visual aid.

I drove to my home which is approximately a 2 minute drive from church hoping to show the lights to my wife. Though the lights had almost passed through our area by the time I got home, I expected that my wife would at least get a quick look at what I had seen. But, by the time we exited our home, the lights were gone. Unfortunately, I can not report on how that final departure happened.

Six orange lights flew in formation across the sky

We saw an orange light come up over the horizon very close in proximity to a red flashing marker light at the top of a tower. At first it appeared to be three lights, two orange with a white one in the middle. As the lights moved very slowly across the sky, they coalesced into one orange light.

My one son and I saw this one. I moved to the window and watched it. I told him it was a helicopter, but I knew that it wasn’t. When it got across the street, the light went out. Whatever it was, it did not fly-off or anything, it just disappeared.

I didn’t really think that much about it until we saw the second one follow the same trajectory. This time we opened the windows and listened for the sound. I called my other two kids into the room to see it as well. There was no sound. None at all.

As we were standing there, three of them came up on the horizon in approximately the same location. They flew in a triangular formation along the same path. Halfway across the sky, the light in the rear, flew off at a rapid pace 90 degrees from the original path. This one flew away from the house, as opposed to the other two that were flying along the back side of the house. I got my binoculars out, and thankfully, the city lights illuminated the sky as a backdrop. I was able to see the formation of something ahead of the orange light. It appeared to be some type of triangular shape, but I couldn’t see it any clearer than that.

I followed it across the street, and again the light went off, but I could still see the shape of the thing moving across the sky. My binoculars are not very powerful, but I watched it as long as I could. It continued in the same direction until I could no longer see it.

A sixth one did the same thing a few minutes later. I have no idea what they were, but they were not helicopters nor were they airplanes. They looked like nothing that I have ever seen before.

About fifteen minutes later, there was a series of about three helicopters circling the area. I do not know if they were related.

When I first saw it, I thought that the orange light was the afterburner of a jet. The object was moving too slowly to have been a jet with an afterburner, and when I got a closer look with my binoculars, I could tell that the orange was some kind of light. It was not produced by burning of fuel.

Low-flying object resembling plane on fire moving horizontally on Maine turnpike

While traveling north on 1-95 in Maine, I noticed a large orange light slowly moving (left to right) across the horizon above the highway. Initially, I thought it was an airplane on fire because it was so low and assumed it was crashing. The main color was orange, but it seemed as if there was a smaller green light at the front of the object. Similarly, there was a darkness to the mass that made me believe it was plane with its engines on fire. Since there was no noise, I assumed the engines had stalled out. There was not a long tail on the object like there usually is in a shooting star. It moved horizontally and then took a sharp left. Its path then became obscured by the trees to the right side of the highway.

I was on the phone at the time of the sighting, and I'm not a person who swears much, but I swore. A lot. The person I was talking to is a police officer in another Maine municipality. He checked all the teletypes for plane crashes. There were none. I also checked the papers for the next few days for meteor sightings, etc. Again, I couldn't find any reports.

I saw a round orange object flickering like fire, It stopped, then made a right turn and headed away and faded into a cloud.

I was headed to the mailbox in front of my house in Shiloh, PA just NW of York when I saw a round orange object coming from S to N toward me. When it got closer it seamed to be flickering like fire. Then is slowed and came to a stop. I watched it for a minute or so then I called 911 and reported it. While I was talking the them it started moving in the same direction as before, then made a right turn and headed SSE away from me and faded into a cloud. All together I could see it for 4 - 5 minutes.

I could not hear it, or tell for sure how far away or what size it was. All I know is it was either very big or it was close, because I could see it flickering.

Large round red silent light

On June 28th app: 10:15 P.M. as I was sitting on my deck watching the fireflies I saw a hug red object come floating over, it appeared to be floating and I expected it to start dropping, but it just kept moving to the SW It was almost as big as the moon which was off to the south of it, I heard no noise, there were no flashing lights as a plane would have, just the steady red. I thought maybe a plane on fire but no flames just red ball I thought maybe something falling like a meteor etc but it just kept moving a nice steady speed and no fire trail etc.

As it went behind some trees I walked to the road and got a clear view and watched it until it disappeared into the horizon, this all took app: 60 sec from the top of my house until it disappeared, this took place over a rural setting

Bright Orange lights over York Beach!

We were staying at the GrandView Motel in York, Maine. Friday, August 12th at around 8:30-9:00pm. While setting on the balcony of the Motel we noticed a bright solid orange light which seemed to be coming from the town of York heading across the horizon out to sea. As we watched this bright orange object heading out to sea it gradually disapeared. Just before it disapeared another one followed its path. We were wondering what these objects were. At one point durning the evening we notice 2 objects riseing at the same time but one was smaller and was the color red not orange. We could see a plane that was traveling from one end of the beach to the other at the same time these objects were in the sky. In around 15-20 minute intervals these objects would follow almost the same path as the previous ones and disapear as did the others. Around 10:00 - 10:30 pm two such orange objects came from the opposite side of town (Kittery) and headed out to sea & disapea! red as did the other ones we had seen coming from York. Saturday night, August 13, 2011 my husband & I decided to take a walk and as we were heading back along the beach toward the Motel we saw one in the sky but this time behind the Motel heading from South to North where as the other were heading North East to South West. When we got back to the hotel the couple that were in the room next to ours told us that they had seen two in the sky behind the motel when they had went on their walk about a half hour before we did.

small orange-red 'fireball' orb moving slowly along beach

While my girlfriend and I were sitting on the third floor balcony of our hotel on Long Sands beach in York ME, we witnessed a ‘fire ball’ type ufo.

It was somewhere between 9pm and 11pm, unsure of exact time. I was inside reading on bed when my girlfriend called to me to "come see this!”"

What appeared to be a glowing red/orange fireball was moving from north to south about 100-200 ft above the water just off the shore line. Our vantage point was from the southerly end of the beach.

The orb moved very slowly taking at least three minutes to travel from the approximate mid point towards our location. The object when closest to us seemed to have the likeness of a small campfire enclosed within a glass egg. It was almost as though you could see the flames inside.

It then turned on a more easterly path and slowly moved off toward the horizon till if faded from sight. There was never any noise that could be heard above the sound of the waves.

It was a chrome looking sphere about 15 feet in diameter.

I was driving home from work one day and saw a chrome sphere shaped object in the sky. The object was directly in front of me about 175 yards away and about 40 feet above the ground just hovering. I didn't see any lights. It almost seem to notice that I saw it and started to slowly ascend.

Well, it seems slow at the time but it moved directly away from me so it was hard to see how fast it was actually moving. It did seem to disappear rather quickly. So I guess it could have ascended quickly until it was out of sight.

three non-moving, orange, pulsating objects form triangle over night sky then disappear one at a time.

long story short, at about 9:30pm, sitting on my back porch, my girl and i saw an orange pulsating light way bigger than any plane light in the sky come from a distance moving slowly from right to left then suddenly stopped moving and sat still for a few minutes pulsating then went out suddenly as it appeared. i stayed outside curious to see if i could see anything else and about ten minutes (properties on my cell video state it was 9:40pm) later two of the same objects, within two seconds of one another, just suddenly appeared from out of no where in the same area that the first one was seen. i ran inside to get everyone and my cell phone to try to record it and when i came back outside the two objects were still there pulsating and stationary. then we saw a third object of same color shape and size coming from south to north and the three, together, formed a perfectly shaped triangle. they stayed that way for a minute, then rotated so the point was no long! er on the bottom but the top now. then they went out suddenly one at a time in the same order that they each appeared. i still have the video but unfortunately my cell phone is not good at night so i can only see black mainly and hear myself talking on it.

White light over the ocean at York Beach Maine

Stationary light over ocean off York beach Maine. Very very bright white light. Appeared to be about five miles out over Atlantic and appeared while it was still daylight. At first it didn't move at all, as a planet or star or satellite moves. Remained stationary for a half an hour, then headed due south, slowly, away from my vantage point. As it moved away it remained just as bright as when it first appeared.

During this time I saw commercial aircraft with navigation lights over the ocean in the same general area but their lights were faint and difficult to see.

By comparison to the navigation lights, the white light was extremely bright and very large. Couldn't have been landing lights of an aircraft as the object, whatever it was, was completely stationary for such a long period of time, then moved in a straight line away from me.

strange orange lights in the sky, fade in and out, disappear, then reappear several minutes later

At approximately 9:30PM on 11/17/09, my friend and I noticed something weird in the sky as we drove to our other friend’s house. We got to his house, then immediately saw this bright orange glow in the sky as we stepped out. This one passed over our heads. My friend said it was high up and was fast, but I think it was lower and slow. The aircraft, from a closer view, had two bright orange lights, one in front and one in the back, and white and blue flashings lights on either wing. The shape of the craft was undetermined because it was really dark.

Another one of these lights passed over our heads, but still not close enough to get a great description. Then a third came and we started feeling a little unsettled. We looked away to get something for ten seconds and the third light disappeared into the night sky.

We went inside shortly, but about 15 to 20 minutes later, we went back outside and saw another light, this time coming from the opposite direction (as if it was a previous light returning). Then, sitting around the table outside, we saw another light in the distance. This one looked smaller, but its light would dim in and out, and twice the light disappeared altogether, once for ten minutes.

We were unsure what this is, but it’s definitely something I’ve never seen. My friend tried to explain it by saying it was just a couple airplanes with brighter lights, but that doesn’t explain why the light would disappear altogether for ten minutes and reappear in the same place. That was the truly weird part.

Bright, shiny object that suddenly disappeared.

While sitting in my car in my work place parking lot, I looked up into the sky and saw 3 trails shooting straight up into the air from what was normal aircraft.

While watching this I noticed just above theses planes was a brightly shining object. I watched for about 2 minutes and the blinking object then diasappeared.

Immediately following this, one of the planes took off and the other two soon followed. I took some pictures with my iPhone, while doing that several other aircraft appeared from different angles, and quickly took off in the same direction.

In the next 15 minutes of this occurrence, i witnessed along with one of my co-workers approximately 10 more planes coming from the distance and just appearing. They all seemed to head in the same direction.

I've never seen anything like this, and was hoping that maybe someone else had reported the same thing, or if I could get some kind of clarification.

I called my fiance almost right after the incident just to see if there was anything on the news, but apparently not.

Three objects out of place in sky - not stars, not planets - do not move with the sky. Way brighter than Sirius/planets.

I am an amateur astronomer who glances at the sky all of the time. Noticed something way out of place in the south as soon as I saw it. Not a star and definitely not a planet - checked my charts. Way way brighter than Sirius. Have large Nexstarr and Ultima 11-inch SCT's but could not get them out in time to set up so i observed with naked eye and a small Meade binocular.

South - One dot turning into two then three then four. Sometimes one dot splitting into two and then back to one. One time saw on edge appeared disk with a ring of lights. Very far away or very big - not sure which. Stayed staionary for well over an hour. It is still there now at 23:02 bur further away. One in west straight up and sort of west not as clear but seemed to split as well into two dots - see lines of light protruding out of center like an axis every once in a while. In north thought I saw a meteor streaking but then it stopped abruptly just under Polaris. Red hue and spinning white to red - not blinking. Looked back at first one and when I looked back this one was gone. NO JOKE - wife saw them as well.

Rectangular UFO being followed by military B52 aircraft.

June 15, 2008 UFO Report Around 16:30 hours while lying in the shade near our pool and looking up at a CAVU sky I observed a silver/white rectangular shape at an estimated altitude of 30,000 feet. The rectangle was emitting two rather short jet trails which came from the rear two corners of the rectangle.

There was a soft jet exhaust sound. The speed was comparable to that of a commercial jet- liner...and the shape was clearly rectangular with a L/W ratio of about 6 to 8. There were no wings visible and there was no frontal streamlining. The shape of the bottom was truly rectangular. Its course was south by south-west.

I watched the shape cross the open sky for about 7 seconds until it passed behind the tree tops. In doing so there were bright glints of sunlight bouncing off part of the surface. It looked like there were only some small surfaces or points on the structure that reflected the light...as the entire shape was not reflecting light at that time. I then lost sight of the craft.

Approximately 5 to 7 seconds after I lost visual with the craft...there appeared a military type jet which was following the rectangular craft. This was a B52 type craft emitting four jet trails of more usual length. The engines were mounted out on the wings as the jet trails did not come from the rear of the fuselage as in civilian craft. The wings and horizontal tail surfaces were clearly visible and were of the standard rear sweeping design. The wing span of the military jet was approximately three times the width of the rectangular craft...and I would estimate that they were at the same altitude.

As for the observer...I am white male, age 55, a licensed private pilot, with current medical that does not require corrective lenses. I am a mechanical engineer by profession. I do not take any medications, and alcohol was not an issue. I am in great health, have never had any mental issues...nor have I ever sighted/reported anything like this before.

Another sighting in York PA!!!

Viewed one very bright and multicolored anomaly in the sky. The unidentified flying object moved upward, backwards, and then side-to-side. It was visible for approximately 45 minutes and still somewhat visible (with binoculars only) for about another 10 minutes. During this entire time, there we helicopters within a fairly close range circulating the object. I must say that this is my 2nd report submitted to this site. I’ve decided to remain anonymous because I am a mother, stepmother, and a wife living in a small community (depends on where you’re from…I’m from a bigger city). Moreover, I know that there is some danger in speaking about this. I guess I feel the need to report these sightings so that others know that they are not insane. Something very strange is going on in our skies and the media in our country seems to overlook the phenomenon. I feel like our government knows a lot more than they’re letting on. I encourage everyone to report what they see when they see it. I feel uncomfortable knowing that such a huge secret is being kept from us! One must ask why we’re being fed fabricated stories of air balloons and satellites being confused as UFO’s when it is evident (to me and many others) that this is not the case. I’m not a crazy drug-addicted person with nothing better to do than make-up wild science-fiction stories. I’m a relatively “normal” (by society’s standards) woman looking to the sky for answers. Also, I have witnessed chemtrails numerous times in the York skies. I don't know if there is a connection but I thought it was worth mentioning. 2 unidentified objects in the sky!!!

I went out to my balcony with a pair of my binoculars as usual to stargaze. I saw an incandescent object in the sky the approximate size of the North Star. I immediately noticed how close it was and how it seemed to be changing colors. I immediately grabbed my binoculars and viewed the object slowly moving in the sky. While viewing this sky anomaly, I noticed out of the corner of my eye another object like it but at a slightly further distance. After about 30 minutes, the 2nd object had completely vanished while the seemingly closer object remained in the sky for another 30 minutes (1 hour total) before slowly disappearing from my view. The object seemed to transition from a white color to a reddish-orange color and then to a bright blue. There were no blinking lights on the object but rather the entire circular shaped anomaly seemed to pulsate its colors. This is not the first time I have viewed something peculiar in the sky. About 3 months ago, I also viewed 2 red orbs floating above an apartment complex for about 15 minutes very close to each other. They both moved erratically like a bee buzzing around in the sky (no sound and very unlike the normal movement of an airplane or helicopter).

Bright object in the sky

I saw it as I looked towards the Western horizon, about halfway between horizon and looking straight up. I saw if for approximately 1 minute. It was stationary as I compared it to an airplane further away that was moving. I went to my car to retrieve my camera and it was gone.

I checked the Internet for the position of Venus or other bright stars since this was pre-dusk but the object was not near it. I looked again from my house when it was dark but didn’t see a bright star where the object would have been.

I witnessed a glowing sphere darting across the sky and making a spiral maneuver.

I was taking a walk as I usually do at lunch. It was August 27, 2007, at approximately 1:20 PM. A large butterfly flying approximately 40 feet in the air caught my eye because of the shadow it cast on the road. While looking in that direction I spotted the very quickly moving glowing sphere.

This sphere looked to me to be about 20,000 feet and about half the size of a typical jet airliner. It had a slight glow. I tried looking at it without my sun glasses and had a very difficult time seeing it. With my sun glasses I could see it rather well. It moved many times faster than anything I have ever seen before. It would move then stop and hover. At one point it dropped and went into a spiral maneuver. At the end of the spiral it stopped, hovered for a few seconds, shot directly up, stopped and hovered, and then disappeared into the clouds with a tremendous speed.

3 friends including myself were driving down lewisberry rd in york,pa around 7-7:30ish and we were passing one of my friends developments andas we were passing my friend and I noticed this ball of light in he sky and we told our other wo friends and they looked at it to so I think the light noticed we spotted it so it zapped to the right like nothing and disspeared so we tryed to follow it but we lost it so we gave up and descieded to go home. As we were going home we found our self on leusberry rd again and for some odd reason I looked back and at first I thought I was losing it but when I told my friend his words were " holy shit" and we then all saw it It was a shape in a triangle but each corner had a light ofblue and this triangle was a perfect triangle with no right angles after WE saw that we were just freaking out so we just wanted to go ome but as I looked back I saw a second ship but this ship was kindof clear and oval and really big im talken about a roof sizeand the third one we saw was another small oval one with red and blue lights circleing in a motion we got so freaked out that we hit the gas we were going about 100 on a 30mph street and it looked as if it were following wee not quite sure but we didnt want to stay to find out but an odd thing we saw was vans swerving into corn fields off the street and lotsof ice cream trucks outsidebut maybe we were just being paranoid it not an everyday thing to see that but I hope you can contac me back at ((e-address deleted))

Illuminated but not shiny disc with three large pulsing lights underside, white to red, following path along the Atlantic coastline.

Looking to the eastern sky I saw what at first thought to be a bright star or planetary object but as it moved closer toward the Atlantic coastline I could see that it was a flying object moving at an even but rapid rate of speed. In profile it appeared disc shaped with three large pulsing lights which changed from white to red during the time it was in my field of vision. The sky was very clear and the object was about thirty degrees above the horizon.The craft I would approximate to be twice the lenghth of a commercial passenger jet and appeared illuminated from within. My impression was the smoothness of the path ,not as if propelled by itself but rather as if being pulled by some force across the sky. The effect was somewhat hypnotic.

Round UFO covered in yellow flashing lights spotted in York, PA

I was asleep in the den with the cat on my lap and I was awakened by a slight ping on the windows (I live on the 4th floor of an apartment complex). It sounded like a ping when take your fingernail to a crystal glass, or the sound of sleet when it is just starting. It woke the cat and the cat got up and stared at the window for about a minute, then jumped down and left the room (the pinging sound continued during this time). After the cat left the room, I turned off the light and went to the window, opening the blinds. I was just staring at the sky, when I saw this round object about the size of a small orange from my point of view. It had yellow lights which covered the entire object, and the lights were flashing like Christmas tree lights. I observed it for about six seconds and it was moving slowly. It then disappeared and about five seconds later, it appeared up further in the sky. After five seconds, it disappeared and I did not see it again. I called the local TV station and the meterologist said there were no meterological events to report that night that would be anything like this object I spotted.

Strange glows appeared in sky, moving about in realativly close range.

We were in Rocky Ridge Park late in the morning, around 2:30 am. We were going camping for the last time this year, before it gets real cold. We had a camp fire going and we had been getting ready to put it out when we decided to just let it burn itself out instead. One of the three of us commented on how clear it was for once, since it had been overcast for the last few days. We then started picking out the names of constalations that we were able to point out. Thats when we saw what we think was a UFO. There was a slight haze or light glow around the object. At first it seemed more like a distand planet but after a while we noticed it was more than that. It was actually moving, slowly moving but moving. The first thing that came to mind was that it was a plane, except planes dont just stay around one spot. Then we thought about a helicopter or something of that sort, but there is no reason a chopper should be floating arount there, nor did it really look like one. It was hard to tell the shape of the object be cause the glow caused the object to look blurred. We discussed our new topic of intrest for a while, wondering what it could be. We had gotten away from gazing dumbfoundedly at it for a while only to look back and notice a second glow. At first it seemed unreal, but after the two moved in diffrent patterns and stayed relatively close, we knew it wasnt anything normal. We decided that we would go on with our night as we planned but the happening stayed in the back of our minds all night. We didnt watch them until they went away but the time that we did spend watching them lasted about 10 to fifteen minutes, not including the time spent discussing the objects between the time the first one and second one appeared.

orange sphere traveled by at a high speed and disappeared.

At approximately 2210 on 19 August 2004, I was in the company of a co-worker and seated on a patio in the area of East York, Pennsylvania. The atmosphere harbored a considerable amount of light pollution, but an object appeared very noticeably. An orange sphere appeared to be traveling from west to south-east, and traveled in a steady, fast pace, and was totally silent. This object was traveling faster than an aircraft, but far slower than a meteor. I would estimate that the object was below the clouds, due to the distinct view and minimal dissipation of light to the surrounding atmosphere. The object was visible for approximately five seconds, and abruptly disappeared. It was peculiar that the sphere disappeared instead of “burning out”. Immediately after the object was visible, a helicopter traveled over our location in the exact trajectory that the orange sphere was bearing. I can not determine if the helicopter was commercial or military, only that is was quite loud like the military variety. At the same time, there were two aircraft traveling in different directions directly overhead. These aircraft were at a high altitude. From 2210 until 2310 there were 18 distinct aircraft traveling in an eastern to western direction. This seemed like an extremely high number of aircraft to be located in a particular vicinity, especially in the time period of 2210-2310. These aircraft appeared to be non-commercial, due to the close proximity and flying pattern. The formation was triangular and staggered. I had the impression that the aircraft were military. There was a great variety of beacon lights on these aircraft; some displayed an extremely large wingspan, giving the impression of a bomber style or “AWACS” (radar) style aircraft. My co worker and I traveled to a location approximately three miles away, where there was less light pollution and elevated so that our view was not impaired. From 2330-0200, there were absolutely no aircraft visible. The saturation of aircraft in the timeframe of the sighting of the orange sphere causes a profound suspicion in the witness, and is lead to draw no other conclusion that the a governmental entity was in pursuit of the same object that I observed. This individual contacted the York Airport in Thomasville, and received no information or further direction. This individual also contacted Harrisburg International Airport, spoke with an individual in Operations, who then contacted his supervisor who was an FAA employee. His response was that “Obviously the Federal authorities knew of the occurrence, but you should feel free to contact your local authorities to inform them of the situation. This witness feels fortunate to have seen such an event, but is left with more questions than answers.

I saw 5 lights in a row close together, stationery but moved backwards over the course of 2 hrs, high in the sky.

At 4:30 am today, I got out of bed to get some water in the kitchen. Looking through the window, I noticed a very bright light high up in the south eastern sky, much larger and brighter than any star or planet. You can imagine my surprise upon finding our binoculars and looking through them, what I saw off in the distance was 5 lights in a horizontal plane very close to one another, totally stationery. I got my wife out of bed. By the time she came to the kitchen, which was only a few mins, it had moved further away and at a slightly different angle, making it impossible to see it as 5 lights. Rather, by this time it was just one bright light.

I called 911 and 3 policemen came to the house. They saw the light in the sky, which I photographed by the time they arrived. Again, it had moved further away but was still clearly visible. They had never seen anything like it and made out a report. They got me your tel number in Seattle for reporting UFO's.

Four red lights dancing around heading due west.

Around 3:45 in the morning. a sunday. I was about to turn around and go to my bed when I saw a blurbed little red light pop on near Jupiter. It was originally heading south, but it turned west from its course by large swoop-like turns, like a ball on a string. After the first light had caught my attention, three more came out of the east, at a steady speed in a loose echeleon formation. Two were flying straight and rigid, while the one farthest south was swerving around like a bouncy ball. While they were as close to being directly above me as they ever came to be, an incredibly bright meteor, short, extremely fast. It did NOT effect the craft in formation.

About fifteen minutes afterwards, I saw a another strange looking meteor, the reason I say it looked strange is because it looked extremely low, like a trace bullet.

The red lights had no particular shape, just little red blurbs of light.

I am known to be a mostly honest person. With only one witness, that being me, this probably doesn't count all that much. But I knew what I saw and it scared me plenty.

I also saw the first one throght binoculars, so I knew I wasn't seeing things, and I wasn't dreaming either.

A object following our van

I was sitting at my door waiting for my school van to pick me up and I saw a flashing light in the sky. at first iI thought nothing of it but when I looked up at it a few minutes later it was still there. when I looked at it through a pair of binoculars there was one white likig and different colored flashing lights on the bottom of it. My van came and when we moved the light seemed to be moving with us and stop with us I could not tell a distance at all but I am prety sure it was below the cloud level and was not a star when we got on the highway it seemed to be moving away (I saw it through the tree branches) I lost it behind a hill for a few seconds and it dissapeared. after it left ihe vans engine was cutting out going up hills sometines and other times it was just fine and when I got off it was still doing this.

bright light hanging in sky near nuclear plant

let me start off by saying i am not completely sure this was a ufo. for the last couple of months i have been doing a lot of sky watching hoping to see something. seen a lot of planes and a few helicopters. I was letting the dog out the back door when i noticed what looked like a single star or maybe the light of a plane. I watched for about 5 minutes and the light did not move, so i went and woke up my daughter and told her to come and look at it. I also got the telescope out onto the back porch and got it in my sites. It appeared to be a perfectly round sphere. orange/yellow in color. it did not appear to pulsate. I was facing east and as the sum came up i was not able to see it any longer but i think it was still there. This morning i got up and thinking it was probably a star would be in the same place. nothing. when sighting the sphere though the telescope I used the crosshairs on the little quick align scope and put the crosshairs right on the sphere an hour later they were still right on the sphere. which shows there was no movement of the object.

i have a small telescope and it does not bring the stars very close but when looking at this object it filled the view finder. I am around 8 miles from a nuclear plant.

next time i will have a camera with me.

Photographic Evidence of Small, Black, Anomalous Formation moving away from direction of wind

On December nineteenth, 2002, a little after four p.m., while driving in the southern portion of York, Pennsylvania, my wife and I spotted an unusual looking small (thirty meters wide and two meters in height) black "cloud" in the Northeastern sky. When we first noticed the "cloud," it looked to be only a hundred meters off the ground and less than one hundred fifty meters from our position, in the car.

I stopped the car and got out of the vehicle to take a photo of whatever the black object was and by the time I snapped the photo (twelve seconds after our initial look at the thing) the black anomaly was approximately four hundred meters away.

I then re-entered the car and looked to see where this black object had gone. It was nowhere to be seen! (Only six seconds had elapsed since I had taken the photo.) It really didn't look like a real cloud, at all. It looked more like a beginner's attempt at making a digital cloud. It moved toward the Northeast, even though the direction a nearby flag was blowing indicated that the surface wind was moving in a straight West to East direction.

That was also the direction a line of upper (white) clouds were moving.

Besides the small, black, cloud-like formation there were no other clouds in the sky except for the line of clouds that occupied an elevated height. The black mystery object was the only one of its kind in the sky. There were no planes or weather balloons or helicopters in the sky.

The sun was near to its time of setting. Other than the above-mentioned clouds, the sky was blue. I'm not sure what else to tell you about this incident except that my wife had seen a nearly identical small, black, cloud-like formation just the day before.

We still haven't gotten the film developed. Are there any special instructions on where or how this film should be developed? Also, any suggestions on which web sites would wish to be informed of this event? Hope to hear from you soon.

my girlfriend and i were arriving home at my house, and she saw a shooting star, and she commented onhow it was the second one she saw with me, and that i never saw them. when we got home, i parked my car, and we got out, and walked slowly to my front door, and i stopped to look to the sky to see if there were any more shooting stars. when i looked up, i noticed 2 faint red lights crossing the sky from north to south at a speed about 3 times faster than planes usually travel. i pointed at it, thinking it was a shooting star, but then noticing that it had a cylindrical form. as i was showing my girlfriend, it zig-zagged quickly, changing direction as it did so. then it continued on its original path for a few seconds, and quickly changed direction again to a north west direction, and accelerated and vanished.

Very fast moving light that rapidly changed direction while I was watching it.

I was taking the trash out at night and a light in the sky caught my attention. As i was watching the light rapidly accelerated crossing the sky. The object then stopped on a dime and sat still for about 3 seconds without moving. I then watched as it made a 90 degree change in direction and accelerated at a speed that still doesnt make sense to this day. This still gives bothers me thinking about it to this day and im not a superstitious person. I don't know what I saw but it definitely wasn't an aircraft or anything we could possibly have. I literally ran back inside scared after seeing it. I have chills right now just thinking about what I saw. This is something I'll never forget.

Daytime UFO siting in York, Pennsylvania by two witnesses at place of employment.

Observed at York International Corporation (employer) during outside breaktime. Looked at bright blue sunny sky and saw strange occurence of several (6-12) objects (thought birds...planes...falling stars...) but then realized out of ordinary UFO's? Objects darted in all directions up down sideways almost like a fireworks display. Objects were very bright shiny like silver bullets or torpedos and seemed close but also way out in atmosphere. Objects were witnessed by myself then I asked female friend to look. By that time objects had all disappeared except four. They came quickly did air show and then disappeared instantaneously at different intervals. Convex disk with cylindrical top aroudn the penn state york campus

There was one Unidentifyed object in the sky traveling between two paths of jet vapor from aircraft from harrisburg airport it was aprox. a half mile off the ground it had a convex underside with a set of 3 holes assuming they where to be lights. It came to what looked like a flared edge and again sloped up to a fat cylider shape approx 5 ft tall if that. had darkened windows long and rectangular each one about a ft apart all aroudn the top half then it came to flat top it seemed. It was broad daylight so I got a good look at what it was made of. It is hard to decribe it looked liek a mix i guess of a dull aluminum but it had a veyr shiney look ot it reflective but not crome like it was on the darker side. It came to a stand stiff for about 25 seconds then it almost bounced it droped approx 50 ft then shot off inot the sky straight up untill it disspeared into the blueness of the sky.

Stationary grey/silver cylinder against a cloudless blue sky

Between 9 and 10 am on a clear May morning of 2000 I was walking my dogs along a railroad track on the west shore of the Susquehanna river. As I started to cross a wide tressle across the river I happened to look up and was suprised to see a grey/silver cylinder dead ahead at 60 degrees against the clear blue sky. The object appeared small. Its length was about 1/2 my thumb nail's width at arms length and it was about 1/2 as wide as it was long. It looked metallic but I could not discern any other distinguishing features. The sky was completely cloudless and I could see no other air traffic in the vicinity. I took about 5 careful steps while watching this stationary object which just seemed to dangle in the sky. As I was crossing a railroad tressle I was soon forced to look down to confirm my footing, and when I looked up the object was gone. I stood still looking for the object for at least a minute but saw no sign of it from horizon to horizon. As I was crossing the very wide Susquehanna there were no trees to occlude my view. The object had completely dissappeared. I am not a novice to outdoor phenomena, I hike as often as possible and watch the skys everywhere I go. My vision is better than 20/20 (uncorrected) and I am a highly sceptical individual. I am an emergency room physician by trade and in addition to my MD I also hold a PhD in pharmacology. I did not initially report this sighting as I felt very confident that I would be able to find a 'down to earth' explaination very soon. However time has passed and 1 and 1/2 years later I am still as puzzled as ever. Has anyone else experienced similar phenomena?

We both saw something, the same thing, and we both felt really weird about it.

MY wife and I were driving home on the highway and we both saw at the same time these red and green speeding things that travelled parallel with the car, passed us, and disappeared into the ground where we could see they were not there. What was this , and where did they go? It was not a plane or anything like that. These lights were within 100 feet of us. We both saw this and were both equally freaked out. WE were travelling north on interstate 83 in york pa.They were on the west side travelling north. They travelled with us for a brief second, right beside us.

triangle with lights, and something like landing "legs"

it was a totally clear night... we spotted the craft quite a distance from us. it was triangle with colored lights around it, first far away, then all of a sudden above us, like it was about to land... I remember it had legs with something at the bottem of them, i always have described them as looking like suction cups... my friend and i ran across the street, i didn't take my eyes off of it... then it was gone... i was a senior in high school... no i did not make a mistake on the date, it was 1974. these are the details i remember most, there may be more characteristics to check below, but i can't remember for sure. i looked and looked on the internet and i don't see any other reports about a triangle shape with "legs"...

Shape: Egg


Egg shaped object lit-up like the moon.

Time and date are approximate. I was about 8-years old at time of sighting. Myself and a group of 5 or 6 boys were playing football in a open field at the time of sighting. It was still daylight but just getting toward dusk. Sky was clear and blue. We all seemed to notice at about the same time an egg or oval shaped object slightly smaller than a dime held at arms length. The object moved across the sky in a more or less straight line from west to east. The entire object was luminescent. As if you were looking at the moon. There was no sound and no other type of lights on object. It moved at a leisurely pace across the sky and was in sight for about 5-10 seconds. Always wondered what it was that we saw that day. I still don't know.
