I went to my window and I saw a a bright light moving towards my direction and to my surprise it stopped and sat in the sky for 30 min.

When I first saw the bright light moving in my direction I thought it was a plane until it stopped in the sky & stayed in that spot for 30 minutes or longer!! I watched it for a long time and it never moved after it parked itself in the sky!! It sat there for 30 to 40 min. After I watched it for a long time I walked away for a while then I went back to see if the bright light was still there and it was gone!! This is the first time I have seen a UFO sitting in the sky a long time like that! My husband is a witness as well. I know that airplanes can't hover in the sky for a long time because they would stall and drop out of the sky! Whatever this was had anti gravity technology!! If it comes back I will get a video of it! Also it wasn't very low in the sky nor was it very high in the sky but right in the middle shinning extremely bright white with no other colored lights! It did not have any blinking red or green lights like airplanes or helicopters have. All I saw was a bright white light!

Large, solid, cigar/pill shaped object spotted moving at slow rate of speed

At approx 7:10pm CST, I spotted a solid, shiny, rose gold colored cigar/pill shaped object “gliding” through the air at a high altitude. No cloud coverage, still daylight. The object had no wings and no lights. Was too high and large to be a balloon, and too slow to be an airplane. I was on my evening run and at the corner of Duncan and Trina St in Gallatin, TN when I spotted it moving east towards S Water St. I watched it for 2-3 minutes before I lost sight behind the trees. It moved on a straight path at a slow rate of speed.

Several lights move in erratic fashion across the sky, then converge to one ball of light then disappear.

One night my family and I were watching the international space station fly over. About ten minutes after it had passed, I looked up to see what looked like stars flying around in erratic directions. I pointed it out, and one by one, we all saw them.

It started out to be two, but then more came and they appeared to be almost chasing each other and playing around. It wasn't debris from the space station because of the erratic motions and speed, and it wasn't bugs because the star like lights would fly behind clouds and comeback out the other side.

We watched for several minutes as they chased, darted, fly across the sky then stop and fly the opposite directions. Towards the end of it there were almost two dozen but they all emerged into one light the size of the North Star and then fizzled out like smoke.

We called are local news channel to report it, but they pretty much called us nuts and told us to record it, but our video camera had been chewed up by our dog and the lights were too small to zoom in on.

I'm not a big UFO believer but I don't know what it was.

Object sighted on 2/18/2016 7pm. Gallatin NY.

Our neighbors daughter age 47, was outside with their dog when she called to her mother age 72, and pointed out a large Boomerang shaped object in the night sky. The Boomerang shaped object was flying slowly from NE, to SW over our homes. The altitude was difficult to say she said. The mother recalls that it took up about a foot of the night sky when she was looking up at it.

The mother described the object as having white lights on the front leading edge surfaces, slightly swept back wings like a boomerang with a red light on the center edge and nose area. The Object was silent. The mother thinks there may have been 8 lights on each side, with a large red pulsating light in the center front.

The object was silent as it moved across the night sky she said. One side of the Boomerang was lower then the other side and the object flew with a tilt of about 45 degrees, red light forward.

Mother and daughter became frightened and ran into the house to safety.

Her verbal account was told to me on 02/21/2016. The Mother and Daughter came to visit me at my home which is across the road to tell me about their sighting. We live in a rural area without street lights. The weather that night was clear and the outdoor temperature was 32F.

The two women wish to remain anonymous.

I'm reporting this sighting for the women as it was told to me today 2/21/2016.

Yellow/gold lights, almost fireball in appearance, in cluster, then one at a time, appear in same spot in sky, flying at same speed

Several unknown items shaped somewhat like a fireball in formation form at times in sky, some one at a time, other times a whole cluster of them, appearing in the distant horizon and moving at same speed and disappearing in the same location farther towards opposite horizon. Very small, yellow/gold color, somewhat like the sun the way it moves when it burns, but was a solid light, not a blinking light like an airplane light. The tail of it came out the bottom, kind of spiked in appearance. They would come as a cluster at one moment and then the next time would be one at a time, but closely following each other. At one point, they looked to make some sort of formation before the next bout would appear. Then they all stopped appearing.

Two black square-ish translucent objects seen on 109 over gallatin skies. One was still the other was weaving then vanished.

One was a stationary translucent black squarish object that looked and and the other was the same but looked like it was weaving around the other object in quick jerky movements in broad daylight.

My wife saw it and asked what it was then I saw it, after watching for a few seconds more they vanished.

It was seen driving south on 109 just past the ridge headed to Gallatin.

Circular objects, bright, reflective, appearing then vanishing.

Driving home from work I spotted to my left a large circular object. It was very bright and suddenly vanished. It was not very cloudy at all, and it was still very sunny. The object moved slighty and quickly before vanishing. I scoured the sky trying to spot it once more. Shortly after I turned on to another road I spotted it again. This time it was smaller and in a different location. I watched it as much as possible while trying to drive safely. The object vanished once again. I decided to pull over and try to record these objects but my cell phone camera could not clearly pick them up. I spotted it two more times in different places. They would move a distance and then vanish again. There was an unusual amount of planes in the area as well. Again these objects appeared round and very reflective. Almost silver in color. This isn't my first sighting like this in the Gallatin area.

UFO report. Columbia County, Town of Gallatin NY .

Star like object drops behind cloud.

My wife and I moved outside at 8:45 pm to our porch to relax and look at the landscape (facing east). While looking at the sky my wife said what a pretty cloud, and I said it was. Just above the cloud was what appeared to be a star, as we looked at the cloud the star quickly moved down into the cloud. My wife and I sat watching there were no other stars in the sky due to cloud cover. I used the deck post as a reference to see if the cloud was moving, it was not but, the object did. We are familiar with satellite's and meteors and this was neither.

The one thing is that stars don't jump into a cloud. The UFO was in the eastern sky at about 45 degrees off the tree line and promptly dropped down at a slight angle towards the ground into the cloud.

After thinking about it the cloud would have had to jump straight up in a split second but the cloud was stationary. We both agree it was not a plane or star but a UFO.

Launching bright red pulsing lights, that tracked across the sky

I sat on the back porch of my home, and saw a flash in the distance. After which a red light lifted into the sky. After a short climb, it began travailing horizontally. I watched it in awe as it tracked the sky until I couldnt see it from the vantage point behind the house. ran inside grabbed my wife, and took her to the front to show her what I saw.

We both watched it track in the clear night sky. It pulsated red and covered a tremendous distance until, it went so far that it became too small, and too faint to see. This happened in a matter of seconds. I then took her to the back of the house to show her the direction it lifted from, when another one lifted off right before her eyes. She went inside, and I watched it track in the same manner as the first.

Then it cut in the opposite horizontal direction and took off at an even faster speed than the first. Neither of the objects made any sound.

Found strange object in the ground that took off.

I dont really know how to report this, I found your site after we looked on the internet for info about what happened to us just to see if anyone else had experienced something similar. Me and my cousin metal detect for old coins and civil war relics and such, we went detecting saturday morning like we have for years, we had a really good spot picked out where a old house had been torn down in Gallatin near my home in Hendersonville TN. We were there for about half an hour digging your typical nails and trash no coins yet, then I got a signal on my detector sounded good so I dug out a plug nothing in the hole so I new it was bigger than a coin and deeper, I dug down about 12 inches or so and seen the target it was silver in color so I called for my cousin to come over and look cause I just new I dug somthing made of silver. I took the taget out of the hole it looked alot like a pool ball but more egg shaped it was very light not soiid feeling more hollow. It! had a clear area around the center looked like glass flush with the rest of the object. I had it in my hand rubbing the dirt off when my cousin noticed that the glass area had some color to it that looked like it was moving like liquid and changing from green to red, I rubbed the area with my fingers to get a better look and thats when this thing shot out of my hand and just sat there in the air about 5 feet away from us, we were both screaming like girls for a second but then just kinda like a reaction I swung my shovel at this thing like a baseball bat and it moved out of the way, by this time my cousin had already took off toward the car so I followed him leaving our detectors just laying there. I yelled at him saying I will get them, I ran toward the detectors and thats when this thing just took off straight up in the air so fast and high we could not even see it anymore, needless to say we thought about calling the cops but we thought they would not believe us and thi! nk we were crazy or something, anyway I have a son in high sch! ool and he does not need everyone in town thinking his dads a nut. So we thought we would report this here and see if this has happened to anyone else or you may have info on what this could be UFO or what ever, I dont know it was so small like I said about the size of a pool ball, could that be a UFO? We are also worried we may have been exposed to somthing that will effect our health. Any info from who ever would be helpful.

saw a mass of objects, grouped together in an unorganized formation, very high in the atmosphere, disappear

While walking my dog on a very clear day in the midafternoon, I heard the sound of a jet , nearly overhead and looked up and saw not only the jet airliner, but also what I would describe as a mass of objects, maybe 20 or so that appeared much higher than the jet aircraft. It was obvious they were not birds, way too high and not in any formation. They instantly vanished and I did not see them again. I have never seen anything like that in the sky before. It reminded me of pictures I have seen of ufo swarms. The sighting lasted only a couple of seconds before disappearing.

seven small, red dots viewed moving at a high speed from southwest to northeast.

I saw seven (7) small, red dots moving at a faster speed than is normal for aircraft in this area. These dots appeared to be at a great distance due to the small size. Six were in a cluster formation with the seventh trailing a short distance behind. The dots were moving from the southwest to the northeast. I was able to view them for approximately ten (10) seconds. From my backyard they were viewed directly to the east.

The dots were at a great vertical and horizontal distance from me. I have military experience with aircraft including the SR-71 Blackbird. The dots remained in the cluster formation the entire time of the viewing. It was not a military formation or a formation of any pattern. The dots were red or orange and appeared to be slightly larger than the size of a medium star as viewed from this area.

gallatin tennessee, several crafts seen over past 6 months.

over the last few months, fall of 2006-spring 2007, my family and i have observed several crafts in the eastern sky. most crafts have been traveling from south to north.

one of the most impressive events took place on or about march 3, 2007 at about 11;00 pm. we observed a craft flying in the big dipper area traveling north into kentucky. estimates put it at 3 miles away. very bright and fast mover.

they are easy to identify from the usual aircraft because of the color, shape and stop and go movements.

this has been on going for several months. moving from south to north and sometimes staying staionary for a few moments then quick forward movements.

they are quite impressive and shocking to see when they move quickly.

Disappearing object seen as light glints off of it

My daughter and I were traveling to Goodlettsville from Gallatin between 4:00 and 4:30 pm. We were just about to get on Vietnam Vets Parkway. I had noticed a couple of aircraft in the sky. Both of them were leaving a contrail as they went through the sky that very quickly disappeared behind them. It was generally clear; the only clouds I noticed were at the horizon where the sun was setting. Just as I was about to approach Vietnam Vet's, I slowed down for a traffic light. I happened to glance up, and noticed a metallic object quickly going by. It was at my 11 o'clock position, traveling from NE to SW. Just as I saw it, the sun glinted off of it, and then it simply vanished. Since I was at a stop at the light, I had time to really look for it, but it was nowhere to be seen. There were absolutely no clouds up there that it could have gone behind. I remember thinking as I first saw it that it was strange that it was not leaving a contrail, as the other planes were. I could no! t judge the altitude, but it looked like it was considerably lower than the planes were. It looked bigger than the planes I had seen, so I'm assuming it was lower. It did look spherical, but of course, right as I noticed it the light reflected off of it, so I could not say for sure that it was. I know I didn't notice any wings. After it disappeared, I tried to make sense of what I saw, and thought that just maybe I had seen a plane. Then I happened to see a real plane as it was making approach to the Nashville airport. I could see the wings and everything, even though it was many miles away, and the object I had seen was almost directly overhead. I realized that 1)if that had been a plane that I had seen that was just too low to leave a contrail, I would have seen the wings, and 2)the reflection flash happened on the opposite side of the craft from the setting sun.

I was driving in a new subdivision when I saw an object flying slowly in the sky. The color and shape of the object was unlike any aircraft that I have ver seen. It was cylindrical and was a mettallic silver. The sun was shinging brightly without any cloud cover whatsoever. I stopped my car and got out. The object was moving very slowly over a wooded area where some new homes are being built. The object was about 1,000 high in the sky. It made absolutely no sound. All of a sudden it just disappeared-that is the best way to describe how I lost sight of it.

I was driving out to my new home in a new subdivision on the north side of Gallatin, TN around lunch time. I was going up a small hill-side road when I saw an object flying slowly in the sky about a quarter of amile away from me. It was a cloudless sunny day and this object did not cast any reflection in the sky. It was a bright mettallic silver cylindrical shaped object. It was flying very slowly and was almost hovering over a wooded area where workers ,who were at lunch , have been building a new road into this secluded subdivision. I turned my car off and stepped out of my car for a better look and to see if it might be an airplane. The object made no sound. Nor did it leave a contrail. Within about 10 seconds later, the object disappeared right before my eyes. That is the best way to describe how it left my sight of view. I am a 37 year old white male. I am a successful business professional. I am not taking any medication of any kind. I seldom drink alcohol and have not had a drink in several weeks. I have never had any psycjological or neurelogical disorders. I have never seen or reported anything like this before. This was not an airplane.
