Metal orb of wires that was seen through a telescope after noticing a bright light that hovered in the sky for about an hour.

Noticed a light in the sky that looked like an airplane, but never moved. Proceeded to get telescope out and noticed a sphere that looked as if it was made out of wires. Also noticed 2 black things inside of the center or at times one black thing and a tail on it. No lights were on it and once the sun went over the horizon it was very hard to see. There was 3 other of these lights in the sky very far apart from each other.

The whole incident lasted a whole hour but I am sure it was there for half an hour more at least.

Professional trucker reports witnessing a dramatic "cloud" of colored light in the eastern sky.

PRELIMINARY REPORT, ON BEHALF OF EYEWITNESS: A professional, long-distance truck driver telephoned the Hotline to report a sighting of a large "cloud" of multi-colored lights, that appeared to be moving across the sky, but which were being obscured by a large cloud in the morning sky. The witness reported that he was unable to see the source of the light, but that it was quite dramatic in appearance.

The witness volunteered to submit a written report, once he is off the road, and has access to his home computer.

Four white lights moving into random formations seen above trees

It was dusk, and while driving we noticed a large white light in the sky to the Southeast. It was mostly cloudy, and it was hovering well below the clouds, fairly close to the tree horizon in the distance. It was approx. 6-8 times the size of a normal bright star, so it caught our attention very quickly. Shortly thereafter another light appeared below it, then another, and then one more. They were all moving slowly and together formed a skinny trapezoid shape. They continued to move around a bit, some much faster than others, and took other formations (perfect square, another trapezoid). A couple of them slowly disappeared and reappeared as they moved around as well, almost twinkling at times. They eventually all moved below the tree horizon in the distance. It's hard to say how far away they may have been, but my guess would be ~3-5 miles.

The three observers are all between the ages of 28-32, upper middle class, two males and one female. No one was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. We were coming home from a jog and the grocery - we tried to take a couple pictures but they were too blurry in the low light.

2 bright lights moving E to W at 45 deg. in the sky. They spread, shrank & faded away never going over the horizon but away from Earth.

My wife and I were coming back from a late night of grocery shopping at the 24 hour Biggs arriving home at about 12:30 am .

As I stepped out of the car and looked up into the night sky (as I usually do looking for satellites, shooting stars and such), I saw two lights evenly spaced, horizontally from about two or three fingers apart at arms length at first sight to about five fingers apart at the middle of their path across the sky moving from east to west at approximately 45 degrees in the northwestern sky, back to about one finger apart when they faded from view.

I called my wife over to see them and she noted as I did that they were moving faster than the satellites we've seen. They traversed the entire sky in about two minutes.

There was no sound and their brightness was comparable to that of the North star or the planets. They were larger in appearance than the point of light that you get from a satellite.

I do not think that they were in our atmosphere because they were illuminated by the sun almost like the satellites I've seen. These lights dimmed as the satellites do from the illuminated sides moving out of sight but these lights did not seem to be in orbit but moving away from the planet. These lights never went over the horizon but rather became smaller and dimmer until they were no longer visible.

Don't know what it was, possibly flares...........

Light sources only. Number of lights varied from 1 to a maximum of 6. Intermittant periods of illumination for each light. From my location (1.5 miles due S of Brookville IN) Light sources were due east, appeared white in color, > (side ways pointed chevron shape) No Solid Object seen. Lights appeared twice the size of the moon tonight. No strobes or flashing lights. Unlike the many of jets I've seen approaching or departing CVG airport 30 miles SSE of here. From this location, may have been in vicinity of Wright Patterson AFB.

I am 52, a retired federal employee, graduate of Ball State University, and a sky watcher...this is the only thing I've ever seen worth making a phone call about. I'm not easily impressed. Hopefully something came out on video...if so, will send.

Five shiny, silver, dome shaped objects were seen flying across the sky in formation.

On 05/27/2005, at 14:00 hours, on a sunny day, (5) silver extremely shiny dome shaped objects were seen flying across a clear blue sky.

The first three were flying in a triangular formation, with (2) others following behind, perfectly aligned.

They all flew at what appeared to be the same speeds. The direction of their flying was from west to east.

It took about 3-5 seconds for the objects to leave the peripheral vision of my windshield.

My wife was with me and saw everything I am describing.

Diamond Shaped, covered with lights, Approximately 200 feet in the air.

I was travelling west on Interstate 80 near a rest stop before Brookville, PA. In the sky, very low, was a diamond shaped object completely covered with smaller white lights. This object would have been slightly larger than a full moon. It was very overcast, but no rain. There were many cars pulled off the road viewing this object. I and a friend left after 10 minutes of viewing this object. There must be others that have reported this, because it was just too obvious. No Noise what so ever!

The object was dropping different colored lights out of it and towards the woods below it.

My family (mom and dad and siblings) and I were on our way home from grocery shopping at McMakens IGA. As we were heading towards Westbrook road we say a light that was coming across the road and it wasn't much higher then the treetops as it came across the road behind us it didn't make any sound at all.

My dad asked which way it went and we all said it went to the west, so my dad turned right on Westbrook road and as we looked out across the field we could see it and it went over to the top of a woods and started dropping different colored lights out of it and towards the ground.

As my dad made it around to the road that went by the woods the UFO disappeared and we never saw it again.
