We saw a bright, orange object travelling across the sky, silent, almost as if on fire, but was not..just extremely bright yellowish/orange circle, like a ball. Nothing like I ever saw! Fast, clean line as if like a plane, but not a plane. Round, bright, like fire.

Viewed six large circular bright lights that looked like explosions in deep space. No sound.

Observed six full moon sized and shaped lights in the southeast sky. They appeared two at a time. As the first two faded away a second and third pair appeared in quick succession. These remaining four stayed bright and faded also.

After the fireworks calmed down, in the north sky above tree line, saw a very distinct shape that looked like a five pointed star. It a had distinct lines and angles and solid color of yellow.

Took pic which came out looking like solid yellow ball.

2 sec later, it disappeared.

Never saw a firework like that.

Floating man over south shore Suffolk county

I was sitting at Well Wood docks in Lindenhurst, NY. I was just chilling by the water waiting to pick up someone I saw a few planes fly by, until I saw a large black thing coming close to where u was. It got closer then it was in view I couldn't exactly see what it was but not plane or helicopter and def was not ballon

it looked like a shape of man and device over him, or man on cross yes I know it sounds crazy but 4 other people saw it and was shocked it was floating till it stopped mid air rotate came back towards us then stopped floated the turn direction moved north

I followed looking to see what it was but it was at least 100' feet up i followed about mile then it changed direction headed west where 2 other people said what is that we watched it hover and head west over Montauk hwy till it was gone I took pictures I even got in tuch with local news who said send pictures other people had call it in pictures aren't great sine took it with my iPhone

Yellow/ orange orb shoots across sky in Lindenhurst, NY at approximately 9:00pm edt.

On the evening of July 7, 2013, about a dozen people were gathered on a patio in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.

My husband grabbed my arm just as I stood up & told others to look up. There was a large, circular yellow-orange orb shooting through the sky.

It traveled straight across the sky and slowly faded & disappeared from sight.

We are all in agreement that this was something out of the ordinary. It was not a plane, not a shooting star.

We believe, based on other recent sightings, that this may have been a UFO.

Shinny Silver object flying over farm field in Lindenhusrt Illinois.

I saw a bright shiny silver object in the sky over a farm field just off of Route 45 and Stern School Road in Lindenhurst. The object was moving very slow in a southeast direction, I thought it might be a helicopter at first (because it was flying very low).

I grabbed my cell phone to take a picture, but then it was gone. I pulled over and looked in all directions, but it was nowhere, just gone. I did not see any lights, or hear any sound coming from it.

Walking home from my girlfriend's home down East Rivera Dr, I saw ahead of me a parked car repeatedly flash all its tail lights. While continuing walking down the block, now across the street from the vehicle. A very tall skinny grey alien with big black eyes dressed in all black was staring at me with his hand over the car handle while the car tail lights flashing. I was scared and continued walking looking at the entity using my peripherals and about 20 steps past the car I turned around and the alien was gone.

When I saw it fly by nobody belive me until all 7 of us saw it, a red/yellow tringle flying across from us.

There was an object flying across from us. It was red with a tint of yellow in the edge. At first when my causin and I saw it, we called the rest of the family but by the time they came it was gone. Then an about a hour later (at 9) evertbody (7) saw the same thing. It was funny beacuse I was explaining the story of the bunny in the moon when we saw it coming and we freak out and everybody couldn't give an explanation of what it was. It was close enough to know it wasn't a plane or something big. I started looking for the news about that but nothing came out.

Then a search online and found out that the same object was flying in Dixon IL in the National UFO reporting.

red to orange flickering lights/flames attached to some type of object sailing fast in the sky over Lindenhurst,NY

About 6 or so fast moving objects. Kept thinking they were lanterns with reddish to then orange like flames like a hot air balloon because it either died out the further it went away or went behind some low lying clouds. They flickered as they went past, no sounds. Each one took about several minutes in between each pass. Thought it might have been some type of hoax and or advertisement for a beach nearby. Crazy things can be bought online nowadays. Saw something during the daytime a couple of months ago. It was black/oblong and found out it was a kids solar powered balloon that can be bought online. It’s a mystery until someone finally spills the beans on what these objects can be or the FAA finds out that these objects are getting in the way of airplanes. God help us if they do. Lets’ hope it doesn’t lead to that. It was definitely something cool to see. Of course, once the binoculars were located they stopped going past. Oh well.

It was a very bright light, extremly high up that was brighter than anything else in the night sky

Me and my daughter were sitting out just star gazing, we just saw a satilight pass over, it was very clear that night. The satilight went south to north and kept the same constant speed. Then 5 min later what appeared to be another satilight stopped in flight and became very bright, it was the brightest thing in the sky for five to ten seconds. Then the object moved on and stopped again and the light came back the same way. That same scenario happen for about a minute and a half, and the object was moving from side to side then vanished.

t The night was overcast. Just above the clouds three round spheres of light were travelling in a vee formation. At times the lead object would veer off and return to the lead position. 8/27/05 at 11:00 pm friend and i was talking, sky was clear, saw falling star, then it just stoped short in the sky,then zig zaged.

well last nite my friend and i were sitting on our stoop just talking, the sky was clear not a cloud around, and im always looking up at the sky i love stars so we were talking, then i noticed a falling star so i said to my friend look so we where looking and it was moving so fast like falling stars rocks etc do,but it just stop short and we looked at each other like what the hell,then it started to zig zag slow across the north sky,and we are saying thats no falling star what is it,then it started to change colors,and it was moveing very slow going north,then it was gone behind trees then thats last we saw it,but then maybe like 10 mintues after there was a few planes or jets in that area,then they where gone.well thats my story,i wonder if any body else saw it??

LIndenhurst, Long Island New York -- Triangular Craft

My mother was giving me a ride home from work and we were on Hoffman Avenue headed home and our attention was grabbed by slowing cars ahead of us. We pulled over and looked up and there was a black, triangular carft above us, hovering...not moving, just hanging there in the sky.

No one else stopped, so we left and went to our home. Once we got to the front steps, my mother pointed up to the sky and we saw about 4-5 more of the triangular black craft flying over what we believe was our locanl beach area (Venetian SHores Beach). They were flying like nothing we've ever seen, smooth and all over the place, looking like they were just taking everything in.

Our neighbor who witnessed this with us was so disturbed she called our local police dept., where she was told that it was the Long Island Railroad conducting tests. I'm sorry it's so late reporting...but I haven't been able to talk about it really and even my mother and I never discuss it!!

Object raced across sky, stopped, zig zagged back and then took off out of sight. We seemed frozen, watched stopped, arm hairs stood up.

I and my neighborhood friend were only 8 yrs old at the time and still remember this as though it just happened eventhough it was 30 years ago. No other sightings or occurences have happened since. It was a crisp clear calm starry fall night. We went outside taking the trash to the bins at the curb which face east. I lifted the lid with my right arm and started to put the bag in and I was frozen. I was able to move my eyes as I saw my watch on my left arm that I was holding the lid. It was stopped at 7:50 with the second hand also stopped at 50. I noticed the hairs on my arms standing up. I glanced to my side and saw my friend looking straight out and then I looked straight out and saw the object. It was still and bright, it looked like a smaller version of a bright moon. Then it darted diagonally to the north, so fast it really just appeared at it's new location about 45 degrees to the left from when it was directly in front of us. Then it darted back straight across back to the south and to the right of us about 45 degrees again. Then it shot back diagonally to the north and kept going out of sight, it vanished. We both were able to move again as the bag dropped into the bin, I threw the lid down and we both ran back up the stairs yelling as we went back into the house. We frantically told my parents what happened but we were both brushed off as two kids with overactive imaginations. Years later when I brought this up to my parents again, my father recalled that the TV set went to snow. He got up and changed the channel thinking that just that one station he was watching temporarilly went off the air. He turned the dial and just got snow on all of the channels. He said then they all came back on and he went back into his chair. I believe my friend and I experienced missing time because my Dad had time to get up, change channels and sit back down while it only seemed like seconds to us outside.
