Hovering airliner shape no wings, too small for an airliner. It hovered in the same position for 5-7 minutes. Seemed to have 4-6 windows. About a mile away between Northampton and Hadley MA, seen from Rte 5. It seemed low for a jet, probably at 1000-1500 feet.

Slow moving bright orb of light with much smaller orb of light erratically moving around bigger orb

I was outside in my backyard when I noticed a bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane, a star or Venus, however, it was stationary for many minutes, no other stars were visible at the time and it was in the South East so it couldn’t have been Venus.

The orb of lights altitude and distance from me was extremely hard to decipher. At times I thought it was a star but then other times it appeared to be at or below commercial plane cruising altitude. I observed how bright the light was and noticed how the bright light would appear to change colors from bright white to yellowish orange back to bright white. It would also flicker, dim or vanish at times. It was very gradual the way it moved. It went from 110° SE to 151°SE within 5 minutes.

After watching it for 10 minutes I went inside to tell my wife. Upon returning outside I noticed it had moved again slightly and this time I noticed a smaller object moving erratically all around it. It almost seemed like the orbs were communicating or blinking at one another. After about 30 minutes of observing and taking videos I went in to check on wife and kids. Upon returning outside and looking up it was no longer visible.

The reason I am submitting this months later is because I was unaware of this site and resource. My father in law told me about it after I had recently shown him my videos. Truth be told, I, have been seeing an orb of light for over a year sporadically, with my first sighting being in March of 2023. I have other videos, but none of the quality of my September 1st sighting. The orb of light has appeared before with similar characteristics as I described above, however, it has been seen at different altitudes and directions. The closest it’s ever come to me was March 18th, 2023 where I witnessed it traveling about 1,000ft altitude from the west to the north at an air balloon like speed before disappearing behind the tree line.

Saw rectangular shaped craft hovering over farm with 40 plus lights on it.

On the evening of 2/26/19,, around 20:50 to 21:00 driving south on Rt.47 towards our home in South Hadley, we noticed a huge object, full of lights, hovering over the dairy farm on left of us. Skinner Mountain was in the back of it. It had a square configuration of lights red, yellow, and white. The corners each had a red light.

Couldn’t tell if the outsides of the craft we rounded or not. Almost seems it had 2 levels to it. Overall size was maybe 60 x 60. Initially, it was about 40 to 50 foot of the ground. It moved slowly upwards (no sound) in a few seconds, up over the mountain which was 600 + feet.

My wife, and granddaughter all saw this.

3 separate bright white lights suddenly appeared in a triangle in upper atmosphere, and then simultaneously shut off 45 seconds.

I was lying back on a lounge chair in my backyard around 10:15 pm, facing south. There was a 3/4 moon shining brightly about 35 degrees elevation, with 2 bright planets low on the horizon in the east and south (directions are approximate).

Suddenly, 3 bright lights materialized as if a light switch was turned on which were in a completely symmetrical triangle. Stars were visible within the triangle, and it was impossible to determine how high up these lights were, or how far apart they were from each other, but they seemed to be very high up. These lights were as bright as the planets and the moon and they did not move but simply turned off all at once. There were no sounds, the night was quiet. This phenomenon lasted only about 45 seconds, as if the light switch was suddenly turned off. I watched for about another half an hour with no recurrence.

I am a ((age deleted--50-60ish)) year old male, clinical ((medical specialty deleted)), and enjoy looking at the night sky and I have never seen anything like! this before. My home is located close to the Westover AFB and I have seen all sorts of military aircraft, but nothing like this. I’m not sure if this was a craft or 3 separate crafts (lights) acting in unison. The lights suddenly came on and then went off and were very evident in this sky with considerable light pollution.

Glowing orbs moving quickly

On Saturday July 12, 2014, I went outside to photograph the full moon. I took one picture, but I wanted several more.

As I snapped the photos, I saw several orbs, and I took the picture. The object appeared to be rope shape with several glowing orbs within it. Two additional photos showed additional strange object, but with the moon clearly visible.

Please note that it was a clear night. There were no clouds that obstructed the view.

The photos were taken with my IPhone. I will send the images.

Rotating orange lights form triangle that slowly floated over fields by river then disappeared

My girlfriend and I saw a triangle made of three orange lights floating slowly low over fields near CT River upon returning home to Northampton from fireworks in Hadley (town fireworks in Amherst also that night.) We pulled over to watch them along with other cars, at least one other. The lights floated silently past on driver's side, starting roatating slowly counter-clockwise (top triangle moving to bottom left, etc) then lights went out one by one until they were gone. No alcohol nor other substances were consumed at fireworks.

bright amber light over Amherst-Hadley MA

From my location on Moody Bridge Road, looking towards the west over Amherst, and north of the Holyoke mountain range, I observed what first appeared to be a flare (bright orange) and "hovering" (no forward or sideward movement). Nearby Westover AFB was conducting nightime flight ops which is what drew me to look outside in the first place (close overflight of C-7s). I watched the light for approximately two minutes when I went to get my binoculars in the kitchen. Upon my return to the front porch less than 20 seconds later, the light was 'gone'.

Flat circular cloud formation falling from the sky as if heavy then hovering

This occurred in Hadley Massachusetts. I saw a huge circluar flat disk that looked like a light gray cloud, slightly darker than the sky.

It seemed to be falling from the upper atmosphere the way a paper plate might spin if dropped from up high.It was as if this unusual cloud formation had weight unlike a whispy cloud. Never hitting the ground it leveled, off hovering, like a huge oval rounded at the top flatter on the bottom, no longer looking flat.

I was in the cornfields behind the Connecticut River known as the "Honey Pot" (dirt road area). The object was east to slightly Northeast seemed to be above UMass Amherst area. It was at a 45 degree angle from where I was less than a mile up (even though it had several hundred feet higher up) and easily 4 miles away. I have never seen such a thing in my life.

Although I made my friend pull the car over he couldn't see it. It happend so fast, then it just faded into the gray sky.

I don't know if I'd call it a CRAFT, but I saw 5 or 6 extremely bright white balls of light clustered together, with red/orange/purple-blue trails arcing behind them

I was standing outside, about 7pm. Out of the corner of my eye, an extremely bright light in the sky caught my eye. I turned to look, and saw 5 or 6 very large balls of light in the sky. The moon was full and I had the porch lights on, but the balls of light were highly visible. They were as bright, if not brighter than the moon. What was remarkable, to me, was their size. They looked like baseballs, compared to the other stars in the sky. The main one was about the size of half the moon. They seemed to travel in a cluster, but not necessarily at the same rate of speed, but it may have just been my perspective. I said "oh my god!" and ran along the deck of the house to keep it in view as it went behind a tree. There was a trail arcing behind the cluster, each ball had it's own trail and they merged into one tapering trail. This trail was very colorful, starting with a green, then red, orange, then sort of purpleyblue. It was beautiful, and I've never seen anything like it before. It arched across the sky and was visible for about 30 seconds, maybe less, and then suddenly disappeared. The tail didn't linger after the balls of light went out. I called a friend who is "into" astronomy and he said it was probably a bolide. I looked up "bolide" on the Web, but none of the picures of bolides looked anything like what I saw. This was very crisp and clear, my first thought was that it looked incandescent and like someone had drawn it in the sky, like a cartoon. I watched the news to see if anyone had reported it (actually I thought it was probably part of the Leonids, even tho it was earlier in the night than the Leonids were expected) but I didn't see anything on the news, so I thought I was the only one who saw it. I told my cousin about it - she lives in Cadillac MI, and she had seen it too! She told me about your web site, where I saw the request for people who had seen this to fill out a report. It was eerie because the event was totally silent.

I took my girl to see the Northern Lights. I had a blanket laid out at the back of the cemetery at the corner of Hadley Rd and Sawmill Lk Rd. From here you can see a good hundred miles to the north.

Just above the horizon I saw what appeared to be a star move several times. She said that she didn't see it.

I had a spotlight in my trunk that I got and aimed it in that direction. When I had it aimed directly on it, it came right at us. Before she could say, "Here it comes," it was right in front of us.

I had never seen anything move that fast and it was completely silent. It was about two hundred feet from us and brighter than the sun. I couldn't make out its size or shape.

A greenish-blue light the ground in front of me and she was gone. I yelled to bring her back and take me. Then the greenish-blue light hit me. That's when everything went black.

We came to at sunrise and were both naked on the blanket. It was now six AM.
