Looked up and tracked a sphere moving across the sky a constant speed and trajectory for 20 seconds until out of sight

I was in my back yard and noticed a white sphere overhead moving in a straight line in a north west direction. I tracked it a constant speed and trajectory for approximately 20 seconds until out of sight obstructed by trees. There were no clouds behind, just blue sky with plenty of sunlight.

I did not see any sign of propulsion or exhaust.

If I were to guess it was probably 1000 ft above ground level.

5 friends witness and record a star-like ball of white light "jump" positions, fly through the sky and over them, and fade aw

At approximately 8:30 pm on October third, 2020, while sitting by a fire and looking at the stars, four of my friends and I witnessed a moving object of solid white light, in the clear sky. This ball of light had a starting position at the bottom of the Big Dipper constellation, and then began to accelerate and head east at an initially slow speed, and then quite fast. We captured several video recordings of the object and in the videos you can see it moving past stars in the sky at enormous speed. You can also see the object "jump" from one position to another in a way that cannot be accomplished by human vehicles. As the object continued east it appeared to have gotten closer to us, and eventually flew over our heads (while still at a considerable distance away from us), and kept going generally east. Once it had passed us and there was some distance between us and the object, it gradually faded out, and entirely disappeared. We also have video e! vidence of the object fading away. It was almost as if a star decided to get up, fly across the sky, and then fade away gracefully. There were a total of five witnesses to this event, two of us independently recorded it on our cell phones.

White Tic tac shaped object floating silently in the middle of the day.

I was walking my dog and looked up, a "tic-tac" white craft was floating southwest of my location, completely silent. It looked as if there might have been windows? I grabbed my phone quick to record it as it was floating away from my location, however the sun was very bright at this time so I had a hard time seeing the screen, but DID record the location of the craft. When I returned home there was absolutely NOTHING recorded but an empty sky and I am completely baffled. I know what I saw and it was definitely there.

Green fireball fell from sky close to home. No noise heard. No impact felt. From a distance it appeared to be at least the size of a basketball and glowed very bright neon green. No tail or streak. Would guess it fell at 40 to 60mph didn't seem super fast. Disappeared in the woods.

Went searching but found nothing.

Also the winter sky is oddly purple tonight and somewhat lit.

My friend and I spotted a orange orb hovering in the sky from the side of the road and I took pictures.

I was going through some of my old photos that were saved to my Dropbox account, and I found two pictures of a strange object that my friend and I saw in the sky. Specifically, this friend was my sisters now ex-boyfriend, who I have not spoken with in a long time. The photos are dated 11/21/2013 and the timestamp shows around 7:30PM EST. At the time, my phone was automatically saving photos to my Dropbox account with the file name as the date and time, so I am certain this date and time is precise.

It was now over 10 years ago, but I will try to recall as many details as possible. We were driving southbound on a fairly rural road that I grew up near, I was riding in the passenger seat. While we were driving, we saw this glowing orange ball in the sky over the tree line to the southeast and decided to pull over further down the road and get out. We stopped by a field that is used to grow hay to get a clear view. In the one picture you can see the silhouette of a tree to the left. (You may have to turn up the brightness) This makes me think that we stopped right after the northern tree line that bordered the field, and I have marked the exact location on the map. We stood on the side of the road, staring at it and were puzzled as to what it could be. It looked almost like a ball of plasma just sitting there in the sky. It did not seem to move or fade and had a soft glow to it. After standing there for a couple minutes, I took two pictures on my cell phone, and we went on our way. We passed by the same spot on the way home and the object was gone, this was probably about an hour after the sighting. I have lived in this area for 20+ years and have never seen anything like it. Occasionally I think about it and try to do some research but can never find an explanation for what it could have been. I recently found NUFORC and thought it would be a good idea to submit a report.

Although cell phone camera quality was pretty poor at the time, I think the picture accurately reflects what it looked like in person. It seemed to have had a solid core and pronounced outline with a more faded orange color in between. It was smaller than the moon would appear in the sky, I would estimate somewhere between a quarter to half the size of the moon.

Bright green fireball appears at the end of a burning meteor tail.

I was driving home from work on the Adirondack Northway, heading north. I noticed a very bright orange-colored tail (which looked like it belonged to a meteor) appear in the northwest sky. It was very big, and looked like it was on fire. The tail was pointed directly down and then a very big, bright green ball appeared at the end of the tail. The ball appeared to be on fire as well. The ball and the tail disappeared following a bright flash of light.

I was in the midst of approximately 20 cars, and I could tell they had seen it to because everyone braked at the same time. Some people pulled over to the side of the road. I listened afterwards for a sound, but there was none. I could not tell if there was any sound while it was happening because my windows were up and the radio was on. There was no explosion or shaking afterwards, and I have yet to seen something of this nature since.

3 white lights in a row at night moving slowly and low.

i was driving in ballston lake, N.Y. and saw 3 white lights in a straight/boomerang shape. it was dark but i could make out the shape of the craft. it was moving slowly and low to the ground. i saw it for 30 seconds to 1 min. as it moved over my car. when it over me, i could hear a low humming but couldn't hear it once it moved over me. there were no flashing/ tail light. as into the distance the lights seemed to change position from horizontal to vertical. as it sped up and moved higher into the sky.

Object seems to be in Orbit twinkling, but through binoculars many very bright lights in patterns.

The craft at first appeared to be an unusually bright and twinkling star. Which caught my eye shortly after returning from work and bringing in some firewood. So I watched it for a good min or so. Before deciding it was not any celestial body I was familiar with and seemed too deliberate in it's "twinkle". The object was obviously high above the earth and did not appear to be moving from it's general position. Which was not far above the tree line and to the SE of my position when first noticed it.

I went and grabbed my astronomical binoculars and returned with it not having appeared to move. I focused on the craft and clearly made out intense bright lights which varied in pattern and color. The colors appeared to be red, green and white. The white light seemed particularly intense. There was a variation in speed of color change and pattern change. As well as varied patterns. Though hard to be certain it did appear to be a circle perhaps a sphere? But due to some of the patterns and the manner they appeared it seemed a circle. Honestly hard to be sure of a dark shape against a dark sky.

The lights however were very visible and easy to make out as well as certain patterns. For example a circle of light alone made up of lights appearing to be on the edge of the craft. As well as patterns appearing on what appeared to be the bottom and a mixture of the two. It did seem to move but not in a rotational "flying" manner. It seemed to only move across the sky very slow as though stationary. As it was first noticed from the front walk and was followed over the hours to the side and back.

There was another witness whom I called out to confirm what I was seeing and followed it off and on for the duration as well. They too used astronomical binoculars and actually were kind of startled. They could make out the lights and the changing of patterns and intensity as well. Though never under the impression that it was the ISS as I have observed it. We confirmed the ISS was not in the area. Further when it is it does not exactly linger. Likewise with satellites which it could not be for several reasons. Nor was it any type of airplane or helicopter. First it was far too high and second I live near an airport. I know what a plane and a chopper in the sky look like. Not to mention both actually went by as well in the course of the night and the difference was glaring to say the least.

The sighting actually continues as I write this. This is now 1-30-08. It appeared in the same place and followed the same path tonight. I would imagine it could have been there last night too. It was overcast so I don't know.

VERY close up look at a boomerang/trianglor shaped craft with lights on the bottom

I was driving home and about to make a right, when I looked left and notice something big with alot of lights about 1/4 mile down the road on the left.

I drove to the intersection of East Line and Sweet Roads, when I realized that this object could not be a plane. It was low, it was big, it was motionless, and had alot of lights, and no sound.

And it was right in front of me, I could hit it with a rock if i had one.

I stopped my car and stood in the road and was trying to comprehend what I was seeing. About 30 yards from the road, at about the height of a telephone pole, was a huge boomerang/trianglor shape craft, with alot of blicking lights on the bottom. Mostly red and white, but some other colors as well. I stood somewhat under it for about a minute and just looked at it. I could not hear any sound and no air was moving. I was still trying to comprehend this. It just sat their blinking and motionless for about a minute. Then it tilted and slowly moved accross the road I was stopped on, and dropped low below a tree line. It came within 25 yards of my head.

After about 10 seconds, it rose from the tree line, repositioned itself directly over the 2 lane road I was stopped on,and slowly proceeded down the road at about 5mph at first, at about 100 feet above the road. At this time I could see that it's width was about 3 - 4 times the width of the road. I got back in my car to attempt to follow it. I was able to follow it for about 30 yards when in an instant, it was a mile down the road. I could still see it, and cars were passing under it. But I could not understand how it can be directly in front of me, and then in a flash be a mile away. The next morning I went back to the field it was hovering over, but could find no evidence of anything.

I got a very very close look at this thing that day.

Since that day, I believe I saw it 2 more times, in the same general area. These 2 additional sightings were at more of a distance and shorter duration.

It looks like a star , it looks like a planet but its moving across the sky above our heads.

One month ago befor this encounter I was driving home with my daughter at about 20:00 when i noticed a big bright light in the sky over head. I thought at first that it was a head light to a plane moving toward us through the trees as we got closer to the light I started telling my daughter that it looks like a bright star or planet. As we drove down the road it seemed to follow us just above the trees . I stopped the car and rolled down the window to listen for any sound .There was no sound. I continued down the road passed the turn home because I could not believe what we where seeing . We came to the end of the road where we stopped to look at this bright star when it flickerde out of sight. At that time my daughter was tired and when I got excieted about the incident and suggested that it was a UFO she quickly stated that we han seen a comet. We went home and told every one about what we thougt was a comet . The reason I say that is I saw the bright star again tonight about the same time as the last encounter. I was on my way over to my sisters house and noticed the bright star again. I could not resest driving back down the same road to look at it again. This time it was just hovering in the sky like agreat big star. Iwent to my sisters house and told them to take a ride with me to see this awsum star . this would be 20 minutes or so later. the star had changed its position. My sister and her children could not believe how big and bright the star was and as we watched ,it would become real bright and then fade alittle we watched it slowly move out of sight. Wedrove to a small private air port to ask if they had witnessed any thing but it was closed. I came home to share the experience with my family and of course my husband thinks that I am nuts. I decided to get on the net to find information on the reporting of UFOs and here I am. We are located near a Navy nuclear power plant , is it possible that it could be related?

Teardrop shaped, small craft hovering about 50 ft from the road above Route 50 in Saratoga County on a snowy evening January 5, 2001.

Object hovering about 40-50 feet from the ground of a busy road during rush hour. Was visible to traffic going north and south on Route 50 in the Town of Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, State of New York. Initially the appearance was similar to a military craft coming down for a landing, but as you approached it you could see the craft was hovering and not propelling forward. The craft appeared to have a central nose like the tip of a B-17 but without propellers. A central large light at the tip surrounded by a ring of lights further down the cylinder. What appeared to be wings were rows of white lights on the sides of this cone....appeared something like this... 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0( 0 )0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 this being the center as I approached the craft, at a snails pace driving, I could see the shape of the craft was not an airplane but a disk....shaped like a teardrop or like the shell of a horseshoecrab. I drove directly under it and saw that the remainder of the craft was not lit. I drove up about 30 yards and turned around to take a second look, it was gone.
