Very large half circle overlapping the moon. Object was brighter than the moon. White with a thin bright green outline.

I was sitting on the couch and noticed a very bright light coming through the window. I went to the window and observed the a strange bright shape overlapping the moon. I went upstairs and also observed it from multiple windows in several different rooms. I have witnessed eclipses in the past but this was not similar to any I have seen. The brightness of the object surpassed that of the moon which is why it caught my attention from the living room. There was a neon like green outline to the half circle shaped object. I took photos with my phone but the pictures do not capture completely what I was viewing. I have never seen anything like this. Weather conditions were clear with no wind gusts. There were no clouds visible. I watched and photographed the moon and object for approx. 1 hour and was still in the sky when I stopped my observation. Viewed in southeast night sky.

A flying saucer with headlights flying low to the ground.

We thought we saw a plane at first but planes don’t have headlights. It’s was creating beams in the sky and lights were blinking. Then it got closer and flew over us making a weird whale like call. Very creepy. It almost looked like the shuttle they landed on the moon with.

Orion’s Belt on the Move

I was outside smoking a cigarette and looking at the sky because I always do and it was a full-ish moon and clear. I can always spot Orion’s Belt and when I thought I saw it one of the stars left the belt suddenly but had the same luminosity, and I thought my eyes were just playing tricks on me and then I saw the same “star” shoot off into the distance. My wife and I noticed what we thought was a star. It then started moving up and down, side to side and at 90 degree angles. I have never seen anything like this before. I recorded video of the object. My wife took my phone, just to make sure that it wasn't me shaking or moving the phone. We observed the object for about 45 minutes. It would move higher and lower in the sky, but keep moving at impossible angles. We witnessed the object in the western sky around 270 degrees and it was 15 to 20 degrees from the horizon.

Black half sphere with wagon wheel shaped light pattern visible when directly over head.

Started as a solid light moving South to North, straight at me, high in the air, but could not tell how high. As light got closer, a black half sphere was above the light, but no wings on the sides. When directly over me, the single light had additional dots of lights surrounding it, with lines of light connecting them, like an old wagon wheel. I could not see any black body extending out from the light in any direction. When it passed over me a bit, the light went back to a single light and the same black sphere above it could be visible again. When it left my sight, turned around and a second identical object, identical light, identical height, speed, path, everything identical, went overhead.

Dreadlock aliens seen dancing in the clouds.

This Is going to sound like a hoax. (which is why I've waited so long to report it) Here is what I saw in the sky on September 9, 2014, in the north east corner of FL. Regardless, this is how it went down.

I went outside mid morning, after staying up all night playing video games. I was enjoying the sun on my face and I knew it wouldn't last long as a large storm front was coming from the east. I than noticed a large cloud that looked like a wiener dog traveling forward, east, just south of the location of the sun. As it hit the storm front it pushed it back keeping the sun on my face. The cloud moved in a normal cloud speed.

This is where It gets strange. I then saw three humanoid images standing on what looked like the deck of my childhood summer house in the head of the cloud. They were standing between the picture window and the railing of the deck. The images were moving around and I was very much entertained by what I thought was my imagination. Then I realized that the lines of the window and the lines of the deck railing wear staying consistent. All of this was seen in gray and white. I was now entering into, I guess, a state of shock, so I smiled and waved.

Two of the figures went back into what appeared to be my cloud summerhouse. The other figure came around the railing and began moving frantically around as if it was yelling at me or dancing or both. The figure appeared to have large what looked to be dreads on his head. I continued to watch.

Just then, towards the butt section of this wiener dog looking cloud, eight points of light formed a perfect circle and began to connect with each other with light. It was at this time I became petrified and ran into the safety of my home. I few minutes later I came out to see what was happening, clouds moved in from all directions everything I saw previously was now deep behind the clouds, however in what appeared to be a funnel kept the clear sight from me to where I had seen the lights, as if to keep an eye on me to see what I would do next. I went back inside and went to bed. I only shared this with a few friends, since I didn't want people to say I was nuts.

Today I googled the date with UFO sightings and discovered that UFO activity in the world was very high. I am curious to find out if anyone else has had any kind of similar experience. Even if you don't believe me it feels good to say what I saw to somebody.

I noticed that were no sounds coming from the lights as they passed by and they were traveling about 70 MPH. I continued on 46 and noticed 6 more lights heading in the same direction.

bright, fast moving, blinking lights up in the sky over Hastings, Minnesota on August 5, 2012 at 10:20pm

Just got out of work and was heading to get something to eat. Seen 3 bright, blinking lights off to my right in the sky. To my left there was another bright, blinking light. Quicker then I could follow, the lights moved their positions. Then I seen five bright, blinking lights in a row, up in the sky, in front of me. As quickly as they formed this line, they moved again.

When I got to the diner and met up with my co worker that was joining me, she too had seen the bright, blinking lights up in the sky. We were both blown away and neither of us could believe what we had seen. It was not a plane nor was it stars. It was something neither I nor my co worker had ever seen before.

Hard to describe sighting that is lasting for a LONG time!

I know I sound totally crazy but my brother who is 23, knocked on my bedroom door and told my fiance that there was a UFO outside.

So myself, fiance, and my brother went outside to where my brother's girlfriend was in our backyard. If you looked north north-east, there was an object that had lights going kind of around it. It wasn't a plane because it didn't travel fast enough. And it's not a satellite because it moved too much.

It appeared to have a reddish kind of light going around the outside of a blueish light. It's really hard to describe! We actually called the police department and all the commotion woke up my mom. We are all pretty rational and we also believe in paranormal type things. But this is the first time we have ever felt the need to actually report something.

Small fast moving Cloud like looking UFOs > Moving in same direction at same fast speed.

We were sitting in the back yard enjoying a fire telling and showing my daughter the stars and sky explaining to her how big the universe is. That's when she said " what is that moving fast," I looked up and saw the UFO. My wife and I have been a witnesses of a UFo incident in 1997 in northern Texas. It was very bright star, like moving in directions and speed that nothing could do on earth. I have seen almost the same siteings on the history channel etc. But what we saw tonight was camoflauge cloud like UFOS. Both the same size moving much faster than the long stratas clouds in the area.With the moon glow shinning on the small cloud like looking thing. No way was it a cloud, both were on same flight path and travaling at a much faster speed than the rest of the sky. The more I think about what I saw the more it makes since. What a better way to be discrete than taking the shape and looking like a small cloud. No lights. Just camoflage

3 UFO's appeared in the space of 15 seconds.

I was strolling the lovely town of Hastings, taking snapshots of the beautiful surroundings, when my friend started screaming. "((obscenity deleted)) IS THAT?!?!" and we saw two huge spacecrafts, clearly from other worlds. Their buzzing noises and the speed and flashing lights was clearly from another planet. A 'normal' saucer-like spacecraft appeared first, and a second craft appeared. It was purple, and very long, stretching light years perhaps? I was amazed.

My friend pulled out a camera and went to take this photo, and as he took the photo, a third craft appeared right before the sun. We heard noises, like they were having a conversation with each other, in some sort of galactic gathering. The sound was amazing, and then this beam of light was propelled into mountains, like a beam from heaven, as if they were the alien gods, basking in our sweet pristine earth.

Something appeared on the mountains. A face. We couldn't see who it was, but we know that this was something of great importance which people had to know

seen it driving, and pointed so other people in cars would see what i was pointing at.

i had gone to the gas station to get a news paper, taco bell, and soda. on the trip home, i had seen what was apparently an airplane. it became apparent that it was a UFO when it stopped going in its direction and just started to hover. it had a flashing red light, and i started to point out of my window to let others see it.

this is the 3rd UFO that i have seen in the past 7 days. oh yes, the UFO was totally silent, and flying low. i would say that it could of not been more than 200 feet off the ground. it was approximately 2 miles north of hastings, off of M37. it had an almost parallel path to the airport in hastings when it was moving. when it stopped and hovered my heart sunk.

At 1:20 February 17, I was sitting on my couch with my friend watching TV when a bright yellow glowing orb that zoomed at my window did a right turn then vanished.

of course I've known about the UFO sightings around the world, and so I was immediately able to identify what this object was. I knew it was not a plane because planes can not travel at such high speeds and make such a quick right turn. i did have my camera right next to me but did not have time to grab it and take any evidence. Awesome lights , made me feel scared but giggley

IT was about 9.45 as I was letting my dog out in the back yard she was acting funny as I turned my head to see what was wrong I looked almost eye level as I was standing inside my back door mind u its about 2 below here I was so in awe that I cant say how long I stood there. I dont know the shape but the colors were beautiful as I told the police office I was so shook up I had no idea how big it was he asked me as big as a football field hey I had no clue. Strange Triangular UFO

Me and my brother were outside at about 11:00 pm sometime in February. I was grabbing boxes out of my moms vehicle since we just moved. We moved into the deep country, so I know I didn't see an illusion or anything. What I saw was a large, glowing orange ball of dim light. There was(what I thought to be) a rectangular shaped craft floating some ways above the orange ball. It was to the right of the orange ball, hovering vertical to it. Then the rectangular craft slowly floated vertically towards the orange ball. Then the orange ball floated slowly away, then took off faster than anything that I have ever seen. That is when the rectangular ship stopped, and began floating over my house.

As it turns out, the ship was a huge triangle like ship, with three lights at each point. The light in front was blinking blue, and the two in back were blinking red. The craft was completly silent, except for a small buzzing noise. It flew over my house at about tree level, so it was very close. Then it turned right, and began flying away from my house. That is when I noticed that the craft had three massive rocket looking things on the back, which were glowing a dim, bright, neon color. Of course, I ran inside of my house, telling my family what I just told you. My family is of the skeptical type, and me and my brother are the only ones in our family who believe in this stuff. So then I ran back outside, to see that it had turned back, and was flying over my house again. I ran back in the house, searching for a camera, to find out that it hadn't been packed yet. When I returned outside, the craft had disappeared. I don't know what it was, all I can say was that it was very strange.

4 to 6 small orbs of bright lights observed by a home security system emitting loud humming sounds..

Approximately four (4) to six (6) small orbs of light, disk shaped, have been appearing in the front of the gate by the street next to our home now for the last three days and, have been observed by a Home Security System monitor every night since 09/18/06.

They form as a group of very small orbs disc shaped in front of the house by the entrance gate and, then blend together into one big orb of light very bright, emitting a loud humming type sound as heard through the security camera's sensor's and stays humming all night long...all observed through the security system of the house.

This sighting is still ongoing as of 09/21/06.

big black triangle shaped object lasting 20 seconds or so overhead then gone without any sound

My stepson and I were in the house,I was watching tv and my stepson was in his bathroom. My husband was in the shower in the 2nd bathroom. All of a sudden my stepson and I both heard this low rumble and was getting louder by the minute. We heard this noise for about close to a minute before we both went running outside the front door. We looked up and saw this HUGE black triangle shaped thing go over the treetops right directly over head. There were no lights whatsoever but it was really really big. The noise was like a low roar and lasted maybe about 20-30 seconds. I thought it was an aircraft from the army, like one of those stealth bombers. I have never seen one except on tv but there were no lights anywhere on it. After it went over us it was gone, not one sound. Just like it had vanished into thin air. My husband never heard anything.

I was driving in my work truck, north bound on the by pass road (Hastings, NE) by the over pass next to the waste water treatment facility.

The craft was a greyish color, the best description of the shape would be similar to a bus. No wings. It appeared as I glanced in that direction. (to the east). When I looked back, it was gone.

My estimation is the craft was approximately 200 meters off the ground and within a couple miles. I was shocked, there was another car on the by pass in front of me. I have always wondered if they saw it too.

I know this happened a long time ago, I just never thought about reporting it.

As we prepared to go for the drive home after a dinner party we noticed that our vehicle would not start. It was strange because the vehicle was brand new and the gas tank was full. We felt a chill sensation, dead silence and then a bright flash on the far horizon. Then a diamond shape emerging from a cloud...it dropped then darted off into infinity at an amazing speed.

The object was diamond shaped and bright. It moved very fast...and darted first down and then into the sky upwards.

Summary : Wedge shaped ship hovering over school. Lights on the points of the ship. Bigger than a park.

It was a huge wedge shape craft as big as a park with big blue - green lights at it's edges. 4 lights. The lights were in a circle shape.The boy that saw the craft was in 4th grade in a elemetry school. Had no mental problems what so ever. No disabilaties what so ever. Does not hallousnate at all. Is very truthful and would not lie about such things. Parents are both lawyers and he has a smaller sister.

As I was walking down my dark driveway one evening in New York I looked up and saw this huge horseshoe shaped object just above the trees. It was moving very slowly. I was able to see some lights in the craft and also outside of it. They weren't the regular colors or position one would see from an airplane. As it went over my head it made a slight humming noise.

I went upstairs to see if I could see it on the other side of the house but it wasn't there.

A few months before this I was at an observatory in Conn. to watch Haley's Comet.

I kept asking people what that star was since it didn't look familiar, but no one paid me anymind. After I went in to see the comet with the telescope I was still fasinated with this star when it started to move back and forth ever so slightly and then just took off with great speed.

Rural South West Michigan

I was awakened by a strange humming sound. Looking north from my bedroom window I could see lights just over the hill behind me. I watched for a hour or better as the lights neared the top of the hill and again dropped behind the hill. I still was not concerned thinking it may be kids or something I could exsplain. Then the craft broke the top of the hill and slowly moved east along the ridge. I know my military aircraft and this was not military. I grabbed a monocular and glassed the craft as it dropped again behind the ridge. It looked like a aircraft but with very short wings less than 6 feet, the fusalage was aprox 25 feet long, with a high wide tail. Note this was not a airplane it was moving very very slowly.

Now I was becomming concerned, I watched it return to the top of the ridge now moving west along the ridge. My blood went cold and I was shooked when it's pilot turned looking directly at me then slowly accelorated making a growing huming sound until the craft made a boomings sound and disappeared in a flash of bright light.

One last note the being inside was typical large head large dark eyes, but when it looked my way, and this may sound weird. It told me it knew I was watching it. It communicated this directly to my thoughts. I have told three people about this since it happened in the 80s, I did not want to sound like a UFO kook. I know we are being watched. I stood guard the next three nights it did not return, this exsperiance left me with a feeling that I needed to protect my family.

A bright object hovered 100ft over my car with my pregnant girlfriend and myself for 10 minutes. Sped away at impossible speed.

I convinced my father to write his experience down which I've copied below. He is getting on in years and hasn't told anyone about it. I was the baby still in my mother's body at the time in 1976. My father and mother never married and separated soon afterwards. His experience includes a strange lighted round craft that became interested in his vehicle or the occupants, a dragging of time, it hovered over his car, and then it left at "astounding speed" and made a right angle change of direction without slowing down. He included a rough sketch of the locations of his car and the craft, and it's final trajectory. I don't know what to make of it, and I haven't had any such experiences nor do I want to. I post it here to add the the general body of knowledge.

My father's 1976 experience written in a letter to me, his son, on Nov. 18th, 2019:

In mid-November on a Saturday night about 10:00pm, your mother and I were driving out to visit some friends of mine when a peculiar thing happened! The leaves were off the trees and no moonlight. No wind. Very clear skies with many stars. You were there in the womb. I do not remember if we were living together at that time.

It took place approximately near the intersection of Prichardsville Road and Henry Road. Two dirt roads with very few houses. This particular piece of country was mostly woods with some fields intermixed with swamps and some small lakes.

I was driving an early 70s MG Midget. I was heading West on Prichardsville Road, as I crested a hill I looked off to my left and saw a round light rising out of the woods approximately a quarter mile away. I stopped the car on the crest of the hill to watch the light. The round light rose approximately 100 feet or so above the trees. It appeared to hover for a short time and then headed directly toward my car. I was fascinated, but a bit apprehensive. It continued in our direction and slowed down to hover above and just ahead of the car. It appeared to be a couple of hundred feet above us and about the same distance ahead.

At this point I was determined to see all I could. I shut off the engine to see if it made any sound. None. Total silence. At this point your mother was beginning to freak out and wanted to leave ASAP. I wasn’t going anywhere until I saw all that I could. At this point it just hovered for 5 to 10 minutes. It cast no light on the ground. It appeared to glow more than shine.

Ahead and down the hill in front of us was an old farmhouse with barn and silo. The top of the silo was a metal top and I observed no light reflecting off of the metal roof of the silo. Seemed odd to me that something that gave off that much brightness wouldn’t shine on the ground or reflect off the barn or silo. It just hovered and emitted light and no sound.

The car had a small windshield and I couldn’t see well so I exited the car to see better. There was a bank at the edge of the road and I took a few steps up it to see better.

It continued to hover for several minutes or more. I’m unsure how much time had passed. The reason I mention this is because time seemed to drag!? The whole experience lasted 10-20 minutes, it seemed.

As I was wondering what it was doing, it accelerated to an astounding speed heading in a northerly direction while going up at the same time. Then it abruptly changed direction and headed up and West at ever-increasing velocity. In a matter of a few seconds it disappeared among the stars. What bothered me most was when it changed direction, it did not slow down or turn, it just changed direction. To this day that change of trajectory without slowing down or turning bothers me. Nothing in my understanding of physics would allow that to happen.

After it left, I got back in the car and proceeded to where we were going. It was a small cabin in the woods about a half mile or less from where this took place. In fact, the cabin was within a quarter of a mile where I observed it rising out of the trees. When we arrived, the guy (Steve) was upset that he saw a light in the woods. He thought it was someone in the woods shining for deer. I explained what I saw and told him the light was no longer in the woods. He looked at me as if I was nuts and didn’t believe a word we said about it. We soon left and your mother started talking about a flying saucer. I told her I didn’t see a flying saucer, only a very funny acting something! A day or three later someone asked me about the flying saucer that Pam had told them we saw. I told them what I saw, but I didn’t agree with the flying saucer conclusion she came up with. So after that I just didn’t want to talk about it with anyone.

I felt I had experience something unknown, strange, and utterly confounding. To this day I get a funny feeling whenever I think about it. I have shared this story with very few people. Whatever or whoever it was had a definite interest in the car or us. Or maybe, you!

That is all I can remember, but I also have an excellent memory. Every detail of the experience is still with me and will be with me until the end of my life.
Whatever was controlling it was intentional in its actions. Was it interested in the car, or the occupants, or the fetus you, I have no idea. I do not even venture to guess. Now you know all that I do and it isn’t much.

I’ve never written this experience down and never would have except you asked me to. Besides, you were there and you deserve to at least know what happened.

I still think something was amiss in how much time elapsed during this encounter. I had no watch or clock in the car so I have no clear idea of how much time elapsed.

Also, at this time there was stories on the news about UFOs. I didn’t want to be seen as some nut that claimed to have seen a UFO! So, I decided I would not talk about it or share my story. I believe I discouraged your mother from talking about it because it seemed too incredible to be believed.

Well, here’s the recollection of my experience on that dark, cold November night so long ago. To me it seems like it happened just a little while ago, not 40+ years ago.

Perfect semi circle vapor trail left as soundless UFO makes a turn-around overhead.

On a clear Fall nite away from city lights, we saw a triangular shaped object approach us from the East traveling at a high rate of speed at about 11 oclock from the horizon. When it was almost directly overhead at about 5000 ft.(estimated), it stopped dead in its tracks. We could see that the bottom of the object was silvery and kind of ossilated slowly from green to red to maroon across this silvery "underbody" of the object...at the three points of the triangular object where reddish orange lights that sometimes turned to a greenish color.

After sitting motionless and soundless for about a half a minute, it made a slow 180 degree turn leaving a vapor trail. After making the slow and perfect turn, the object again sat motionless for a few seconds, and then took of straight and level at an icredible speed "in a flash" it reached a point about 15 miles east of us just above the horizon. Again the object stopped dead for about 10 seconds , then when straight up at incredible speed until it went out of sight.

After this had all taken place, we noticed that the vapor trail was still disapating directly overhead in the atmosphere where the object had made the 180 degree turn around. This vapor trail seemed identical to that which you see when a high altitude aircraft leaves a vapor trail. This trail widened, and distorted over a period of about 3 minutes or so. Our observation was that the original vapor trail formed an absolutely perfect 180 Degree semi circle.. No vapor trail was caused by the craft when it was excelerating away from us or toward us... Only during the perfect turn...

During all of this there was never any sound coming from the object..
