Flashing white lights moving sporadically

Looked up and saw multiple white flashing lights move away from each other and in different directions. I did see and hear three planes fly by but those went in their normal flight path. Where these had no direct path. They all disappeared from sight and then upon looking out my window I see a white light streak and then boom flashing white light moving around sporadically. At one point it looked like one went behind the trees and then came back up.

A black triangular craft with three lights on each corner was hovering & slightly rotating in the clouds.

I was driving across the bridge over the Miami River to go home and noticed three orb like lights in a triangle formation. I realized they were attached to a craft that was so black it was almost invisible. It was hovering over the river but rotating slowly but noticeably. The craft seemed to be hovering in the clouds. I was driving with no way to safely record and therefore only witnessed it for maybe 5 minutes. It hovered & rotated that entire 5 minutes.

Incredibly bright flash, small sphere of light in distant sky streaks off

I was out walking my dog, like I do every night at this time, and as I was coming up on the field that we frequent, I noticed an intensely bright flash of light in the sky. It was blue, initially, and it lit up the surrounding area with a dim glow, and almost immediately, it changed to yellow and shot off, leaving the clouds a mixture of purple and red for a while. The whole thing happened in the course of maybe 5 or 6 seconds, but the sky had something of a visual residue for about 20 seconds afterward. The strangest part, however, was that the siren of a nearby police car sounded off, weakly, as though it was activated without receiving enough power, right as this whole situation occurred. And, since your form has a specific option for animal reaction, I feel it's important to note that my dog behaved much more cautiously than he usually does for the rest of our time outside, never leaving my side for more than a few moments.

We were driving and we saw something that we thought was first a hot air balloon, we soon realized It was not moving at all, It was a metallic color and It ended up having a flat top and a pointy bottom but still has rounded sides. We just kept looking at It because we felt crazy and thought It must be something normal but like we said It was t moving at all. Right after we started to pass some trees and by the time we got past the tree It was gone with no trace of It at all.

When originally spotted it had red lights on that where in a saucer or disc shape. The object was moving left to right and stopping on a dime. At first we thought it could be a drone but I thought the altitude was too high for any civilian drone that I know of. At one point the object descended a straight down very quickly and was out of our sight for about a minute and a half. If then resurfaced what would be about a half a mile away this time it went to an even higher altitude than it was at originally. And then in one sweeping motion it descended once again about 75 feet in a sweeping motion and went to the right for about a mile and then stopped. It stayed in that location for roughly 6 to 10 minutes going back and forth left to right. After that it went back to the left again and descended one more time, again dropping straight down. About five minutes later it resurfaced for the last time it still had red lights at this time. Is final flight came towar! ds us and off to our left slightly and gave us the opportunity to get a better look at it. As it was coming towards us the entire light pattern changed and it changed into the pattern that I can say only perfectly resembles that of a common airplane and as it passed us it continued on a perfectly straight flight pattern and looked exactly like a common commercial aircraft as far as the lighting. Then it just continued on that that flight pattern until it was out of our sight.

Driving in car on bright sunny day dispersed clouds not many. I was the passenger and the driver was a family member. We stopped the car because I asked them if they were seeing what I was seeing. They said yes and pulled over.

It was a long cylindrical silver shaped object that was stationary in the sky unmoving. The object then changed from silver to gold and changed shape from cylindrical to round but looked like it had a pole in the center. It then changed from gold to yellow greenish but metallic and looked like it had some kind of green light in the center or something that reflected sunlight. After all this it completely vanished into thin air like it never existed.

Three circular bright (lighted, or reflecting light) objects seeing over Middletown Ohio. One was high in the northeastern sky, one was high in the north western sky, the third halfway down to horizon in the northwestern sky. They were stationary, not blinking, remained visible for 15 Minutes until obscured by clouds. The color is what one would expect it to be if light was being reflected by a Chrome object.

This lasted about 5 mins. until it went over the tree tops past the horizon.

It looked like it was either was going to hit the earth or flying the curvature of the earth.

I thought it was an Asteroid. I have never seen anything like it.

There was a harvest moon and I wanted to get a picture of it because it was very large and the largest I’ve ever seen, so I took two pictures of it when I got home I just basically just told my son that I got a picture of the moon but it didn’t look as large as you were able to See So my son asked me to show him the picture so I in large the picture and there was three other things in the picture right below the moon so we enlarged The picture and right underneath the moon was three darts and as I enlarged the picture. I was able to three dots that I was not able to see you with my bare eyes, so as the picture got bigger the middle dot dot was very weird the two on the outsides of it were tiny but the one in the middle was unexplainable looking if you are interested. Numerous high altitude fast moving lights in formation.

On 22 December 2018 at approximately 2200hrs, I was taking my dog out for the final time of the night. The moon was extremely bright and clouds were patchy. As I looked up at the moon, I noticed a large number of solid lights traveling from a southeastern to northwestern direction. All lights were equidistant and in the same formation.

I couldn't guess the altitude...much higher than commercial flights. There were several normal aircraft in the area.

I watched about 25-30 of these lights fly over, I tried to record them with my phone, but thanks to the bright moon, didn't get anything.

I went inside and told my wife to come outside and look. She was baffled, especially at the speed they were traveling. Much to fast to be a commercial flight, and too many on the same flight path.

I tried looking on the airplane tracker sites to see what was in the air at the time, and nothing out of the norm. Definitely not what we witnessed.

Very bright, light jigging relative to commercial aircraft and stars in the area.

Background: I am an engineer and work for a defense contractor. One of the ones that conspiracy people get really paranoid about, but I promise that I don't work on any spooky projects.

My father was with me. He works for the government. Also, nothing too spooky in the conspiracy sense.

I have a passing familiarity with military and commercial aircraft, he has a pretty detailed knowledge in being able to profile and identify aircraft. He also has one of those augmented reality aircraft identification/tracking apps and makes plane-spotting (along with hawk-spotting and star watching) part of his hobbies.

The area it was observed has a clear view of traffic routes flying into IAD, DCA, and BWI, plus some other private airfields in the area and Andrews AFB.

Observation: We had already seen 2 satellites pass over, 3 shooting stars (two parallel to the quite clearly visible milky way and one perpendicular), and probably a dozen aircraft. The night is super clear, probably the clearest we have had in a week.

I was staring at the shocking amount of stars out but didn't immediately identify any planets I wanted to check out with a telescope or set of binos (silly, Saturn was right behind me). I walked around the truck and asked dad to turn off the garage lights, and when I turned around again there was a shockingly bright light in the sky that I hadn't noticed before.

'Not too strange, just didn't see it.' And then it started moving, looking like it was dropping down in the sky. 'Well, okay, it's flying away from us not quite in the traffic lanes'. It was moving pretty fast. Faster than the satellites, slower than some of the closer low flying planes that had red/white blinking lights. Also was just one steady tone, a cream-white color. Very bright, brighter than any of the stars by far, brighter than Venus or Mars. Then it hooked a starting to a reverse J, then into an L turn to the right.

Then it started... jigging? Bouncing up and down, left and right. At first I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me just because it was so bright, so I steadied myself, set my head down on the truck bed, and kept watching. Still jigging. Then another aircraft passed below it in my view and it and the stars around it were rock steady, not moving strangely at all, but that light was still jigging around relative to all of it.

Dad got the AR app out and it showed a couple aircraft in the sky kinda near it, but one of the craft was not identifiable on the app. The other was a clearly visible commercial plane (the one I mentioned above).

Then it started to fade. Didn't change color, just rapidly went dark over the span of about 10 seconds and that was the last we saw of it.

Speculation: First guess was it was a flare because of how it faded out, its color, and how bright it was. But, the flare explanation didn't cover the jigging. It didn't look like any of the other aircraft in behavior or appearance, so I don't think it was one of the commercial craft.

I asked a group what they thought, and they suggested I check the ISS orbit. NASA says I should have been able to see the ISS 65 degrees off the horizon for about 5 minutes, disappearing 19 degrees above ESE, at 19:28 pm. That would have lined up exactly with what I saw.

That's going to be my going explanation.

Emerald Green Orb viewed on the 4th of July in Middletown, CT.

My sister and I were watching the Middletown fireworks from the backyard last night, facing west towards the Connecticut River. It was a beautiful clear evening. We didn’t have a clear view of the fireworks; they were visible through the trees only.

Off to the left of the display in the back field (facing west) I noticed an emerald green object in the sky that looked like an orb, the size of a grapefruit that I pointed out to my sister. The orb was stationary above the tree line for a good 3-5 minutes, in which time we had a discussion. Was it a plane watching for fires? We reasoned a plane couldn’t stay in one location for so long. We changed our logic and thought perhaps a helicopter. It seemed to still and small to be a helicopter, there was no sound that we could detect. We then reasoned it was a droid. We have no knowledge of droids or their behavior.

Then the orb started moving in our direction, it gave off no sound, changed its color form em! erald green to red, moved behind a tree about 20 yards from us, changed color back to green and floated off in a southern direction beyond our view. That was weird, we decided, what was that?

Within 5 minutes, it came back again, hovering above the tree line where it first appeared, to the left of the fireworks display. I went into the house and got my phone and binoculars. As I viewed the orb through the binoculars, it looked like three green arrows, pointed in the same direction, with a small circular shape at the front (>>>). Again it drifted closer in our direction, went behind that same big oak tree and skirted off in the same southern direction. I’m the worst photographer on the planet but did get two pics with my cell phone, my sister got one pic. Is this thing a Droid or what????

Two strange lights chase each other across the sky

I have a great view of lamentation mountain from my back patio and am a regular star gazer with or without telescope multiple nights a week.

I was sitting out on patio on Saturday the tenth, watching the stars, and noticed a strange thing.

My house is directly on the flight path to Bradley airport, so I know the regular tracks of planes.

In addition, the sky is dark and clear enough to see the space station overhead on most nights as it passes.

I noticed what at first took for a satellite passing overhead as it had that pinprick of light effect. White/blue and very dim. Then I noticed another light behind it following it. Very similar in size and color but it did not move in a straight line.

This object weaved back and forth in a fluid like manner while following the first object across the night sky almost like a dance.

This occurred as it went south west to north east over head lasting about a minute before I lost both objects behind some thin clouds.

It definitely was not a plane as the objects were very fast and the second object weaved about in ways a plane couldn't, totally silent.

Definitely fascinated me even though every hair on my body stood up as I watched it happen.

distant bright twinking light shifting colors moving/drifting erratically

At approximately 11:30pm, as I was using a computer, I noticed a distant bright light moving in the window, twinkling in various rapidly-changing colors, starting at approximately 140 degrees SouthEast (according to a Garmin GPS watch). Colors included red, blue, purple, cyan, and occasionally green. The object's movement and color changes were both erratic, becoming less so as the object became more distant.

A second observer observed the movement of the object for a few minutes at approximately midnight. The observer noted “yeah, that's weird all right.” By 1:15am the object had risen several degrees in the sky and had moved further South to approximately 155 degrees SouthEast, the movement and color changes both much less pronounced, now dimmer but still being brighter than the rest of the stars in the sky.

This event was just like what I witnessed on October 14th at 3:45am (report S130618) from the same location.

My husband and I thought it was a star, until it disappeared, and then showed up 45 seconds later a little bit farther to the right from where it was. We then looked with binoculars and could see it was a disc shaped object with multi colored flashing lights.

It's still currently out back of our house visible from our bedroom window. It has not moved again for a good 30 minutes. I have used my compass on my phone to get the exact location as to where it is.

dot of light just brighter than a star, undulating and drifting in the sky unlike any aircraft

At approximately 3:45am, I saw through the window what looked like a "star" in the sky which was moving and "undulating" with jerky movements unlike any aircraft, and which "shimmered" with bright light which varied in color from white-with-blue-hue (most of the time) to occasionally red-ish and green-ish colors.

At about 4am I went outside to continue observing--mostly to try to figure out if it was a high-flying small copter drone, which was the only thing I could think of which could have similar jerky movements in all directions. The Little Dipper was just to the right of where the object was moving around in the sky.

I occasionally saw little "poof" flashes of red light nearby to but not part of the object, like it had let out a silent firecracker.

At approximately 5am I went back inside to mention the event to a friend, and to get a pair of binoculars to try to make out a shape of the object. Unfortunately all I could make out of the object through the binoculars was a bright white light with a blue hue -- not any detail as to its shape. The friend came outside and observed the object from ~5:30am-5:45am, going back inside after feeling chilled. I remained outside observing until 6:30am. From 6am-6:30am the movements of the jobject seemed more subtle than earlier and was slightly less bright, so I assume it was moving away from my observing location.

If this was some kind of surveillance drone it would have had to be one that was brightly illuminated, could dart around like a nimble quadcopter, and stay aloft continously for 2.75 hours.

My wife and I were walking the dogs with neighbors on the campus of MxCC Middlesex Community College, when we all noticed green and blue lights about 100 feet above Snow Hall. They appeared to be triangle shaped moving very slow.

After about 2-3 minutes we started to move closer to take some photos, when the crafts suddenly vanished?

Everyone agreed this was unlike anything we have ever seen in my life!

A replay of what has been happening since 6/1/2012 here in Middletown, a lot of UFOs moving all over in our sky.

At 9:15 last night my husband took our dog out and looked. The previous nights activity made him look up. He called me to the porch to look. At first, all I saw was the north star. Then I saw what he was talking about.

Just to the left was a little hello/orange light moving fast and stopping then changing direction.

As we watched, having our son to come out to watch too, more and more appeared.

It turned out to be a smaller version of the previous night.

At 10:15 last my family decides to go star gazing in the country. We were looking for constellations when we noticed two bright yellow/orange lights we thought were the visable planets last night the 4 little white dots showed up blinking.the the yellow big ones stared moving from side to side stopping and moving blinking. then the little ones start moving together twords one big yellow one. then all the sudden there were 3 big ones and white ones started showing up all over the sky...hundreds zig zagging and flying in v formations and strait lines moving all over the sky but only the white the yellow ones there were 4 by midnight swung in a Pendulum movement in one spit only moving really fast for a minute then stopping again.only 3 of the big ones moved off and on all night one big one stop streaking fast and dimmed and stayed in one place for the duration we were watching.its didn't start moving until about 1:30 am.the white ones flying formations all over ! and the sky were still doing it till I went to bed at 3 am I have neighbors a roommate a husband a 12 year old and a 7 year old who were so scared...me too...all saw it I thought I might be going crazy but everyone saw it.....amazing

While looking out my patio sliding glass door in a southerly direction I saw three oblong, football shaped objects slowly flying in a northerly direction. They all seemed very low and there was cloud cover with light rain so they had to be under the cloud ceiling. There were no strobe or flashing lights just a very odd orange hue that resembled a flame. The third object rapidly increased speed and caught up to the second object. Upon flying with it for a couple seconds it then shot off in an easterly direction while the other two completely vanished.

Never seen anything like it before in my life and I've sailed offshore over 15,000 miles with plenty of satellites, aircraft and shooting star experiences.

Intense glowing white/blue light

It was what seemed to be a huge saucer shaped craft but the first thing that caught my eye was the fact that it was shining very intense bright white/blue light. I had to stop driving and pull over it was so incredible.

Before it disappeared into the clouds the bright light disappeared and I was able to see the actual crafts shape. It had no wings and had to be way bigger than you're common ARV. Incredible!

I noticed a very large bright star, west of Middletown, CT. My husband and I then looked through binoculars and saw red (I saw some blue lights too, he didn't ) lights that looked like sparks under it.

Then at approximately 10:00 pm it changed completely to a sphere shape with circles. Light was illuminating through some circles in a cross pattern with the brightest light in the center.

Satellite Imagery of the course of 44 years.

E-Mail with sample pictures have been sent to Director for study. Satellite Images using multiple sources have been studied and examined over the course of three months. Similar areas and lakes have been studied to attempt to find a flaw in the satellites images, but none have been found. All USO's (?), are localized in Lake Titicaca in Peru and no where else on the Planet.

Studying all images by year has shown a significant change in the behavior of these USO's. These objects are much more abundant near the shores, near the northern and southern areas of the lake and have been pictured over land as well. 2003 shows a drastic decline of these objects in the above areas with 2013 showing even more decline. I believe this is due to the rise in urban areas and the population in general, as well as advancements in satellite imaging technology.

Among these objects photographed I have photos from the NASA Earth at Night satellite imagery that shows lights inside Lake Titicaca where there should be no presence of light of the magnitude it is shown.

15 to20 red orbs coming out of CT river in downtown Middletown area all rises to about maybe 2 to 4 hundred feet in height is my guess forming a triangle shape until last orbs appeared what to be a red orb with a very bright light at bottom of ship rose until directly in middle of other orbs to the middle they all appear to turn of light in my option hovering over the top of bright that leads from Middletown arcoss to Portland

if anyone else saw this, please report no personal info need to be given my family and I are still shock there's also appears to be a humming sound on a nightly bases so please file your report this something up there with appears to have been hanging around Middletown for weeks

bright big circular light with an aura like light next to the full moon and bellow a tiny little light getting closer to it or in it.

Sitting Report: I work as a housekeeper at the Middletown court house in CT. As I come close to finish my shift I walked into the jury room to clean as schedule. The room is in the sixth floor the last floor in the building and it has the biggest windows and it faces the CT River with an amazing view. I’m usually contemplating the view out these windows whether is night or day.

Well as I enter the room I right away see the full moon Big and bright, shade in the water and a planet or big bright star next to it (so I thought) just stunning and beautiful. I wanted to take a picture but for some reason I thought to get my co-worker because she has a bigger and updated phone and it could take got pictures.

Well before I decide to go get her I was staring at both the moon and what I thought it was a big bright planet or star beside it. I started to notice a small light getting closer and closer to it and maybe even going in it.

So I right away ran to get my co-worker exited and at the same time a! little weird out about it that I forgot to take a shot with my phone just in case. Eight minutes went by and I couldn’t find my co-worker anywhere so I returned to the sixth floor to the same window view and I couldn’t believe it……it wasn’t there anymore!!!!!

So I regret not taking a picture I was so mad. But I took a picture of the view anyways. I should of took that shot it was as bright as a planet or star next to the full moon. I wonder if anybody else reported seeing something similar tonight as well.

Well that’s my story I am excited I had two ufo sittings back home in Puerto Rico when I was twelve years of age and experienced a bright light in my home that lasted about an hour and then went away. I believe, by experience not because.

Red orange flickering ball across cruising the sky in Scotchtown (Middletown), NY

Driving home from dinner my wife and I saw a red orange ball moving horizontally across the sky. It was a little smaller than the moon and my original thought was it was like a flickering candle flame shaped like a ball.

I was driving so I kept my eyes on the road while glancing at the thing in the sky. When we reached our driveway we got out and watch it recede -- still in a straight line -- while another plane taking off from Stewart Airport (in nearby Newburgh) was flying the opposite direction at a slight angle. When the thing became small in the distance (still bigger than a point-like star) it just turned off.

We waited a bit to see if it would come on again but it didn't.

My girlfriend and I were driving down Maple Ave. Middletown, RI, towards West Main Road, when I pointed out two yellowish-orange lights in the sky. As we continued to drive, we were able to keep up with the objects.

We observed the two lights zigzag, and eventually crossed one another.

As we continued to drive now on East Main Road, the two objects flew parallel, one trailing slightly behind.

Then, we got stuck at a red light at the corner of Shell gas station, the objects flew farther away and out of nowhere disappeared.

We continued driving on East Main Rd. to see any signs of them, but saw nothing but sky.

Hovering object with 4 lights that took off once we got a good look, and then it was gone within seconds!

I saw two lights in the sky that I first thought were stars and then as we drove closer I saw that the lights were part of an object. The object didn't seem to be moving. It seemed to hovering over this one spot.

Then as soon as we got to the place it was hovering over it started to move. It just so happened to be moving the same direction that were headed and were able to get a better look at it. It looked like it had a diamond shape to it and it had 4 lights.

It was lower to the ground than a plane would be which is another reason why it caught my friend's and my attention.

Once we reached our destination and we were able to really look at it, it just took off and within seconds it was nowhere to be seen!

Red flashing light moving at impossible speed at night in middletown DE

Bright red light traveling at a very high rate speed, seen over amazon in middle traveling south down 301. The red light was leaving trails because my eyes could not keep up with its speed, I have never seen anything travel this fast on this earth! It was dark out and the craft or whatever it is had no white head light for seeing, only a bright red light that seen to be very close because it appeared to be large in size.

It lasted for a very short duration and made no sound, either this light was leaving trails behind it or it had smaller red light traveling with it I'm not sure, but I can tell you, it shook me up a bit when I seen it.

Reshaping spherical object - high altitude and traveling due north (iPhone video)

I captured this object and hurried to used my iPhone and zoomed as best I could. I estimate it was at least 1000 feet up and moving in a perfectly straight line, due North. I thought it might be a bird until I saw it was a spherical shape that was collapsing then reshaping to a sphere again, over and over. Solid black. I also thought it might have been a tumbling trash can lid, but it kept constant altitude and a perfectly straight path. I watched it all the way to at least Trenton until I could see it no more.

It was going at the pace and speed of a plane, in a straight line for about 2 min, then it seemed to turn about 30 degrees and slow a bit, and maybe drop altitude a bit, but ultimately continued on, getting smaller and farther away.

When it was very small it seemed to dim and brighten in a pulsating fashion.

I called my 7 year-old son in and he saw it too and we watched it until it was gone. Nothing fell from it, no debris, no tail.

Lit object hovering in sky over CT river.......Then planes began circling it in the area........it remained then moved upwards

Viewed Glowing object in southeasterly direction from Southern Middletown area placing the object over the CT river near Haddam.

It glowed and hovered and did not remain stationary as it moved behind trees and then appeared again while I remained on my back porch in the same position.

After sighting this I noticed planes began flying towards the object. Not typical planes or commercial aircraft. These were different. I could tell by the sound and light colors of the aircraft which were different than most commercial airliners.

The object remained for over two hours then began moving upward in the sky until it was gone.

It reappeared once again 2 weeks later.

I wuz walking my dog in my backyard.Stars were out, saw planes passby stewart airport is close by. Than right next to one of the stars another star appeared same brightness same shape, qppeared toeven b the same distance as the star as well. Buy than it blinked out, and dissapear. So I thought did I just see the last shine of a star, but it felt like there wuz sumthing more to this soi continued to look in the same area than bout 3 min later the light appeared again but this time brighter than the other stars and it wuz higher than it wuz last time. Same thing just blinked for one moment amd disappeared. Than one final time afew min. After that around same location. So weird its like night aky blinked at me,it felt like it wuz intended for me to see it,if that spunds weird.

Circular shimmering object shoots outn of cloud and then turns off like a light. Very high speed.

Sitting on my side porch right on mainstreet in Middletown on a cloudy night. (moon was in and out of clouds even) When at airplane height, saw a very bright starlike object, looked like any other star as far as brightness goes but much more circular and definite in shape.

Came out of a cloud and sped at an extremely high speed for prob 3 to 5 seconds then went out like a light would go out immediately not a gradual burn out like a shooting star.

Have seen many shooting stars for I look at the sky almost every night sometimes with a telescope. Very interesting cant wait to see more!! Was pretty exciting experience. Also there were other regular airplanes in the sky and this moved about 25 times faster than they were...

I saw one tonight.....and watched closely as it faded and I could see marker lights of an aircraft.

2 sets of bright lights seen and did not leave area for approximatly 5 minutes. No sound. Witnessed by 8 people.





While visiting a relative’s house, 8 of us were on the back porch. Something caught my eye. Everyone looked up and saw the same lights that I had seen.

They were solid lights, no blinking. It looked like whatever they were attached to turned and you could see 5 lights total.

Then, you could see another 4 lights behind the first set of 5.

After approximately 5 minutes the lights seemed to follow each other to the east and ad they disappeared there was a bright flash.

There was a storm entering out area, so it could have been lightening, but it seemed to be concentrated to the area that the lights were traveling.

We do live near an airport. But, this was something that none of us had ever seen before.

There was also no noise involved.

Orange light witnessed by 2 residents of Middletown, Ohio that split into 4 objects.

My boyfriend and I viewed an orange light that split into (4) equal parts. The parts were shaped like equal parts of a solid cylindrical object, only longer and more narrow. They resembled the slices of an orange, if you peeled it and pulled it apart along the natural separations. The four parts then disappeared without smoke, noise, or any movement.

Previous to this event, my boyfriend witnessed the aforementioned orange light moving with great speed across the night sky. At that point, he ran into the house to get my attention, and we both witnessed this orange light split into 4 objects.

I am a 47 year old woman of mixed ancestry (African American, Indian, of the subcontinent, Scottish, and Native American, possibly of Cherokee origin.) I have 4 children, and have never committed any crimes. I am a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Gerontology. I work for a company that provides housing for older adults and families as a social services coordinator.

Simultaneous flashes of lights

I was driving down I-81 southbound near mile marker 303 close to the middletown exit ramp and while driving i noticed multiple flashes of light in the sky. I would roughly guess 30-40 flashes simultaniously then just stopped and saw no more.

After witnessing this i called my father who is a air traffic controller and retired marine to ask if he knew of anything that would cause this and from what i described he said there is nothing he knows of that could cause what i had seen but after discussing it some more with him we summed it up to pyrotechnics of some sort until i arrived at my destination about 10 miles from mile marker 303 in Front Royal, VA and i told my fiance what i had seen and what my father and i had discussed and what we summed it up to be until her sister said she and her friend saw something similar around the time i had witnessed. after learning this pyrotechnics were out of the question and there is nothing to explain it.

4 Lights over Middletown

First, one single ball of light was falling in the sky. We thought it was a meteor until it broke into 4 separate pieces that continued to fall and had very long tails of light. The four lights and their tails then disappeared after falling for about ten seconds. We thought they were gone until they reappeared about ten seconds later in a perfect diagonal line in the shape of simple orbs. They continued to move from a diagonal to a straight line and back and forth for about 2-3 minutes until they had fallen so low we could no longer see them. The light from each one was not consistent either, they would be lit for about five seconds, would flicker out and then would reappear.

A bright, glowing object- not resembling an aircraft- proceeding Northerly and then turning Eastward disappeared into the early dawn.

Bright light, about midway between the brightness of Jupiter and Venus appeared in the constellation of Orion while I was observing the Great Nebula. It was very white and bright. It's direction was Northerly toward the constellation Leo and it was about 35 degrees above the horizon. The light had no aircraft lights, no blinking light such as military aircraft have when I notice their aircraft passing over where I live. The craft was proceeding fairly rapidly, taking only about two minutes to go from Orion to Leo. Then the object was much lower on the horizon and seemed to turn due East and in a few seconds the light disappeared. I ran to my house to get my binoculars, as my telescope was behind a fence and not in the line of sight of the object, but I could not find a pair fast enough, and I did not want to miss the sighting, so I watched unaided as best I could, and saw the light, as I said, disappear in the East. Aircraft I have seen in my lifetime, flyi! ng at night, have blinking lights and do not have the luminosity that this object had, and it was a steady,bright light, not changing, except at the last seconds as it disappeared in the East, in the first, faint traces of the Suns earliest glow.

Bubble like object with single light source moving low, fast and quiet in broad daylight, posssibly pursued by military fighter jet.

While showing a hawk circling the skies above my house to my son, I noticed something I had never seen before. It looked like a bubble, mostly see-through or translucent, with a single white/blue light source in it's center. It was moving at a high rate of speed in a very straight line. It was compltely noiseless. It was lower, much smaller, and much faster than the aircraft that fly over daily for Bradley Airport. It was hard to track as it camoflouged itself so well, but it did not turn which helped me keep it in my sight for about 30 seconds. Within 5 minutes there was a single military jet flying low in the same vicinity, another thing I have never seen in this area.

Craft sighted in Delaware

I was driving over the old St. George's bridge in Middletown, Delaware when suddenly to the left hovering over the cornfield I saw a craft that was circular in shape and had a metallic look to it that almost looked like a liquid but you could tell it wasn't, best way to describe it was like a liquid mercury look but solid. At the time I see the craft I am actually above it or about even in height with it because I was on the bridge. Suddenly everything went silent no noise from the radio or anything and suddenly without sound or anything it darted off in a North East direction towards the power plants in the area of Delaware City and Port Penn, one of which is a nuclear power plant. As someone that studies science and have watched space launches I know that a vehicle moving that fast should have caused a sonic boom when it broke the sound barrier yet it was completely out of sight in a split second without causing a sonic boom or anything. I was in complete ! shock by this event and took several minutes just to compose myself to be able to talk because never in my life did I think I would see something like this as I am a skeptic but there's no denying what I saw on that day.

My husband was looking due North as he was driving out of our neighborhood and saw a light come over his head towards the Northern horizon. He stopped his car to watch, thinking it was a meteor. As it descended towards the horizon, it broke into three distinct lights.

He had me on my cell phone at that point, and I came out on our deck to observe. I saw the three lights. From our vantage point, they seemed to be just West of AK Steel. The lights hovered for several minutes in various triangular formations, sometimes flickering out and reappearing.

After about 4 minutes, the lights were falling towards the horizon. At some point, one light appeared to move to the east almost directly over AK Steel. All lights gradually lowered and flickered out.

I videotaped the event on my iPhone. The quality is not great, but could possibly be enhanced by someone with good software.

Two orange circle lights flying side-by-side; one went straight up and the other went off into the distance and both disappeared.

Flying from southwest to northeast over Middletown, CT, roughly 100 yards apart side-by-side for approximately 70 miles or so.

One went straight up into the sky and disappeared 40,000-50,000 feet up and the other stayed on a straighter course and disappeared into the distance.

They were both orange lighted circles roughly 1/10 of the size of a full moon.

At first they appeared to be either helicopters or planes but there were other planes around which did not look the same as these circles.

It was a meteor like object that moved at angles and no curves at a high rate of speed.

I have been an amateur astronomer for over forty years.

On Monday, May 30 at 10:50 P.M.

I stepped outside during a break in a show. The weather was warm and humid, the sky was clear.

I noticed what I thought to be a meteor flashing overhead from the west. The color of the object was white-orange.

The object immediately made angular turn to the south, then two more after.

The object then proceeded to the west southwest at a very high rate of speed.

Object dips up and down and zig zags.

I was looking into the sky when I saw an object moving through it,more of a bright light like a star due to the objects distance.

Large orange ball moving slowly and stopping in the sky

Outside with my friend saying goodbye I notice a large bright circle on the sky. I thought it was a planet, my friend said maybe venus, so i went inside the house to get my camera and told my dad you can see a planet and to come check it out.

I started snapping a few pictures when my friend says, "is it moving?" I focused back at the light and off my camera and noticed in fact it was! Slowly moving downward towards the horizen line then stopped again.

I changed my camera to video mode and started recording. It then started moving left along the tree line in the distance prolly about 20 miles away or so.

We then proceeded to follow it up the street walking 100-200 feet away from the house. It would stop and move constanly.

It flickered several different colors at one point from blue to green to orange and red. It was definately not a plane with blicking lights; this was way too big.

It eventually went below the tree line so we got into my dads truck and went to a higher point few streets over and I started recording it again. It made no sound.

We watched as it sat still for about 5 minutes then it proceeded to go below the horizen line again.

The 3 of us stood there in awe of what we just saw, all agreeing it was not a plane or helicopter.

A light with a slight glow.

We noticed the craft hovering on the west side of Middletown . The craft was not stil but it was moving fast. As we contiued to stare at the object it did almost like a little dip and then started moving away until it faded and was completely gone. The closes thing I can liken this sighting to is china UFO on 7-8-10 it was the same white light but without the huge tail or smoke that the Chinese UFO displayed. What we saw was just the light with just a little glow.

~24 orange/red fireball shaped objects moving in pairs along common flight path before ascending and dissappering.

On August 8, 2009 I was on my way home from Connecticut with my wife and two children when I noticed a strange single orange/red light in the sky. I was traveling easterly and the object appeared stationary and slightly to the north relative to my point of observation. The size of the light was larger than normal planet observations and I believe in the wrong part of the sky for any common astrological phenomenon that I am familiar with (please note that I do not have a background in astronomy).

I pointed the object out to my wife and son (daughter was asleep) and we tried to figure out what it was. We all continued to watch the object while completing the remainder of our trip home (~1/4 mile). Shortly after turning on to the access road to our condo complex we all realized that there were multiple objects of the same size and basic characteristics described earlier. My wife passed our point and shoot digital camera to me and I began to take video footage while finishing the drive home (hand out the window, very shaky).

After we parked we continued to observe the objects along with several neighbors who also noticed the activity in the sky. As we watched there were at least 24 of the objects traveling in pairs along what appeared to be the same flight path (traveling at relatively low altitude in a southeasterly direction toward Easton’s Point, then ascending). When the objects reached a similar altitude they disappeared.

None of the observers present could readily account for the origin or purpose of the lights.

General Background: Weather Conditions--mostly clear skies, ~70 F, low humidity, near full moon.

Nine organge lights in linear pattern in sky, changed direction, hovered and disappeared.

I was travelling on Rt. 17 South between Myersville and Middletown at 23:30 on August 1, 2009 travelling @ 25 mph.

I saw 9 orange (not red and not yellow) bright lights in the sky in front of me coming from the southeast (Washington, DC) in a straight line formation. The lights changed direction (east to west) and were travelling at equal speeds (they moved across my horizon in unison).

As I continued down the road south the lights again changed direction toward my car. At this time I decided to pull off to the side of the road.

The lights passed over my car and I looked out my sun roof but the light was too bright to make out the shape of the objects. I did not hear any sound.

Eight objects increased their speed and each disappeared sequentially heading north. The last object hovered over my car for 2-3 seconds and then sped off in a northern direction and disappeared.

I was pulling down my friends drive way when i saw four bright lights about a quarter the size of the moon. The lights was sorta round in shape and would blink. The four lights would appear to have been chasing one another, then all of a sudden they where gone.

First of all - I would like to preface this by saying that I was NOT a direct witness to this, but I viewed a cell phone photo of the object(s) in question - and I also talked to multiple witnesses, one of which is a male relative who wishes to remain anonymous and uninvolved with reporting this incident.

The events are as follows: On the evening of July 17, 2009 - at approximately ten minutes after 10:00 PM, I was sitting on my front porch having a cigarette.

I am in my 40s and reside with my immediate family and my older sister's immediate family.

My older sister suddenly came out of the house talking on her cell phone to my (male relative), who was telling her about what he was seeing while on route to my residence. I heard her exclaim something to the effect; "FIREBALLS?! - What do mean Fireballs? - What, they're in the sky?!". She continued discussing it over the phone and then the call ended and she walked back into the house.

A short time later my (male relative) pulled up in his car and got out - and we began to talk about what he had seen. According to him - he was on the corner intersections of S. Main St., And Oxford State Road across from the Mcdonalds restaurant when he noticed people watching three objects in the dark night time sky.

He described the objects as "little black balls with greenish white fire like jet exhaust that wrapped around each of them" , and that the jet exhaust would "blast out" - and then "suck right back into them". He said that he observed one of them drop from the formation of the three - nearly to ground level, and the rise right back up and return to formation (it did this only once according to him).

I asked him if he had gotten a cell phone picture of this - and he replied that he had, but it "didn't turn out" so he deleted it. He described the objects as large and bright.

He went into the house - and I remained on the porch, and a short time later my neighbors returned home across the street. There were two cars of people - and one was a car full of kids (assuming his kids and their friends / relatives?).

They got out of the car and were screaming about what THEY had seen as well. I yelled at them that my (male relative) had also just seen the very same thing - and I walked across the street to discuss it with them.

They showed me a cell phone picture of a formation of three identical, ethereal looking boomering shaped lights (not lights in a boomerang formation - but each light was shaped like a boomerang or more accurately a chevron - like a wide letter "v". I asked them if they were green and they said "No - they were more whitish looking".

They also revealed a detail that my (male relative) did not reveal, and that was that these objects were trailed by - or dropped from - a larger object or other objects behind them and just behind, or beneath the low cloud cover.These other - or this other object they described as three red lights in a "smiley face" type of configuration. They described it - and the other objects as being big.

Both they - and my (male relative) confirmed that the original objects were lost from sight when they eventually dropped to ground level. And - both parties relayed to me that the objects first initially appeared "out of nowhere" to begin with.

Inquiries to the Middletown Police department should be made - as well as inquiries to discover other potential witnesses as well - as the objects were apparantly noticed by multiple parties in the area, and were quite obvious. Although I wish to remain anonymous - a graphic of the photo - and a map of the area will be submitted to you momentarily.

3-4 triangular "humming" objects at treetop level in Middletown, Ohio

At 2am I went to let my dogs out, and saw/heard nothing unusual. I returned to my upstairs bedroom on the front side of our house, and resumed watching television. I had my bedside window opened approximately 6, though my shades covered the gap.

At 2:05 exactly, my (almost 15 year old) daughter and her friend were in a nearby bedroom talking. Her bedroom faces the rear of our home. There are no shades or blinds on her windows. The girls remarked that there must be a storm coming, as there were flashes visible in the upper edges of the windows, and appeared to emanate from the clouds/fog over the house. They then realized that the flashes were stationary and occurred in fixed intervals.

As the girls looked more closely out the window, they were looking upward. They noticed that a large dark shape was moving over our 2 story home toward our backyard (west to east). The dark shape then dipped downward as it moved over the crest of our home toward our backyard (eastward), and was visible below the cloud/fog level, approximately 30 feet off the ground. As it moved slowly away, it became clear that it was triangular in shape, and had 3 lights along the back, flashing blue, red and green in varying patterns. The object emitted a low, pulsing hum noise that was audible from the girl’s window. There were no loud or airplane/jet noises, or I would have heard them with my window open. I can only surmise that between my tv and my husband’s snoring, I was unable to hear the very low noise.

Behind our home is an open field that is used for farming. It is a large, open area with the nearest houses at least 1/3 a mile away (guessing - not an absolute distance). There is an old barn within ~200 feet of our home that sits in the southwest corner of the open field. As the object moved away from our property, it reached the area of the barn and hovered briefly. It then slowly moved away toward the northeast, and suddenly disappeared. It appeared to the girls that the object was approximately the width of 2 houses in size.

At 2:08am, near the far east edge of the field, 2 similar objects suddenly "winked on" and moved around one another for a brief period. They appeared to be the same types of objects as the one that moved over our home. Just as suddenly as they appeared, they seemed to "wink off" and disappear.

At 2:10am, a new set of flashes were visible over the house, and they were similar in nature to the first set. As the girls watched, a much larger, and louder (humming) object moved over the crest of our home, following the same path that the first one did. This one appeared identical in every way, with the exception that it was so large that as it dipped over our home, the edges were not immediately visible. It had to move beyond the barn for the entire object to be seen. It was easily double or more the size of the first object. As it moved west to east, it slowed over the field, and then slowly seemed to rotate over a fixed area, and remained there for approximately 3-5 minutes. It was possible to see strobing lights on all 3 corners of the object, but the 3 lights in color were only visible on the "back" edge of the object. As the object sat in place, the 2 objects that had been sighted at 2:08 suddenly lit back up and began to move around, as if in response to the larger object close to our home. This continued for the last couple of minutes that the large object hovered.

With no warning, all three objects just disappeared. It looked as though the smaller objects streaked away to the left and right of the large one, and that the large object lifted straight up, out of sight.

The two girls described their thoughts and feelings as though they were transfixed and unable to really do anything but watch. They debated whether to wake either myself or my husband, but were concerned that they may not be believed, especially after time had passed and no more objects were visible. The one thing that they did notice was police sirens in the vicinity (I did hear those), and they wondered if they were in any way responding to the objects.

The open field is sort of unusual in that it is sort of "land-locked." It has very busy roads on 2 sides, and has houses and suburbs on all 4 sides. If you didn’t live next to it, you would not be aware that it is even there. Considering it’s size, that is really unusual.

A very short distance from the field, near the south-eastern corner are at least 3 bar/club businesses and a bowling alley, all of which would have closed at 2am. If anyone was leaving them (this was a Friday pm/Saturday am time period) they should have been within eyesight of some or all of the objects. The only variable that I am uncertain of is the cloud cover/fog placement. Even when the objects were above the cloud/fog line, the rhythmic strobing was visible.

I have repeatedly asked questions of my daughter in different ways to verify details (and to a lesser extent her friend - she had to leave), and the story has remained consistent. I believe her - and that was before I had a chance to read/learn about all the other sightings near our area. We are very interested in verification of the sightings, and if anyone else saw anything similar. PLEASE get back with us if you learn anything, or we can do more.

I am currently viewing a bright light above middletown ny. The light is very bright and not an aircraft. I know this because I viewed and aircraft flying to the left and beneath it and it has not moved. I also see no stars anywhere.

Sphere, black in color, silent, no lights headed north

On my roof top hammock I witnessed a dark black object heading due north at a speed no aircraft could match.

I timed it at two minutes before it disapeared. No lights No sound. I would say the altitude was inbetween 15,000 and 20,000 feet because the cloud levels were above that and it was below the layers of clouds.

Wind was 25 to 35 gusting west. It couldn't have been a ballon because it didn't track with the wind.

four bright lights northwest of Middletown Ohio.

after cooking out in the woods we where getting ready to go back to the house. I was standing beside my son while he was gitting in the go-kart i saw what looked like bright stars in the skies. Two of them where close together and moved to the left and then down below the treeline. They moved togeather at the same rate. When they went below the treeline I saw two more above them through the trees, They did not move togeather but the bottom light went out after about 5 sec. The forth light floated down untill it went below the treeline. I did not see a parachute or a smoke trail behind these lights, and they where not the lights of airplanes. The intire incedent lasted about 30 sec. or less.

Seeing is believing but it scary as hell

It was midnight, as I was on my smoke brake from work, I notice the clouds were a weird pinkish color, as I stared into the clouds thier was a lightning strike in side the clouds I thought it was cool, but to my surprise it was the scariest thing Ive seen.. A cigar shape that was metalic in color shot across the sky, being the clouds were pinkish I got a dam good look at it. I was bugged out because I had the weirdest feeling that I was in trouble. dont know why maybe I wasnt supposed to see them. I ran back inside to grab a co-worker, as we came back out it was gone. My buddy did like the view of the sky. we waited 15 minuets then gave up on the sky watching. Ever since that day I feel like Im being observed. weird.

I saw two black objects --a large bug shape and a sickle looking shape parade across the sky one cloudy afternoon.

As I sat out in my backyard to take a break on a cloudy afternoon I saw what looked like a giant black bug shaped object that appeared to hop across the sky and immediatly followed by what looked like a twirling black sickle looking object. They seemed to just vanish and looked like they were putting on some sort of a demonstration. Anyway I went back into the house and thought who would believe me even if I did report it. Then I saw some of the photos taken by the Mars rovers and cameras and found what looked like a similar object in the background of sol 605 photo and other photos.

Possible correlation to South Kingston sighting of 28 Feb

This report is in relation to the report of a chevron over South Kingston, RI on 28 Feb 06. While returning home from my daughters horse lessons, I noted two lights to the west that seemed to be standing still. From my vantage point on Browns Lane, I have an unrestricted view of Narragansett bay, Portsmith Island, and South Kingstown. I often see lights from aircraft in this area that are heading into T.F. Green or Quonsett airport. What made these lights stand out was the fact that they didnt appear to move and they appeared to be at the same altitude. The distance between the two lights appeared to be maybe a hundred yards, and did not have the staggard appearance of distance that aircraft in a landing pattern do. Having read the report of 28 Feb, I can also add that these lights would have been in the direction of the area that the report came from at a distance of abot 10 miles. Sighing lasted about 10 to 13 seconds before a curve in the road obscured my view.

This is the second time I have seen these lights, and just by looking on this website, others are seeing the same thing.

The first time I saw this formtion was in mid-December. I live in Lower Swatara Twp. and a vertical line of four lights appeared in the northern sky, probably somewhere in the area of Colonial Park/Linglestown. They had an orangish color to them, were visible for only about 5 seconds, and then faded out. They did not reappear. My wife, who was with me, did not see them.

About 1 week ago, on or about 02/15/06, I again saw this (or a similar) occurrence in the same area of the sky. This time, however, the display lasted for about 15 minutes. The lights were the same orangish color, and each formation that I saw would go out after about 5-10 seconds. A few minutes later, the lights would reappear. They would be in the exact same area of the sky, but would take on a different "formation". It seemed that one light would turn into two, then three, then four before finally fading out. This went on for about fifteen minutes. My wife did see these lights.

Fort Indiantown Gap is is the same general area that I have seen these lights, and they do remind me of some kind of flare. They just appear to me as lights, and don't appear to be under intelligent control.
